When Piratetress arrived and voiced her position of being against Poseidon Nero, Acnoella, in a shocking revelation is really Piratetress' mother, challenged her. The mother and daughter faced each other with the duel underway. Being the queen of dragons, Acnoella has her Moon Dragon Selene having 2700atk points, as well as her Dragonoid with it having 2800atk points. What's more is that she has 3100LP with her Mobius System active. As for Piratetress, she has 1100atk points. However, she pulled off an xyz summon and now has Space Pirate Fighter at 2600atk points.
"It's impressive that Acnoella pulled off an xyz summon, but it's still not strong enough to defeat either of Acnoella's monsters." Aoneko said.
"Not yet, but she has a plan." Demon King said as he knows Piratetress well enough.
"I activate my trap: Rise from Space Depths!" Piratetress said. "My trap allows me to summon a Space Pirate from my graveyard! I'm bringing back my Space Pirate from my graveyard! Return once again, Space Pirate Swordsman!" She brought back her swordsman with him having 2600atk points. "With that, I now activate Space Pirate Fighter's special ability! Not only is he a great fighter, but he also is a great cook."
"Cook? Say what?!" Wiseman questioned. It's apparently true because her fighter was beginning to cook.
"My Space Pirate Fighter allows me to grant one Space Pirate an extra 200atk points for every Space Pirate on the field!" Piratetress claimed. Her fighter gave some curry over to her swordsman, and her swordsman began eating with its power rising to 3000.
"And Space Pirate Swordsman is able to attack twice." Ijuna said.
"This is going to hurt. If she attacks with her swordsman both times, Acnoella will lose 500LP. After that, Space Pirate Fighter can deal the finishing blow." Shura said. "Maybe Acnoella isn't all she's cracked up to be."
"Space Pirate Swordsman, attack Dragonoid!" Piratetress called. Her pirate attacked as he slashed right through Acnoella's dragon and destroyed it. That caused her life points to drop to 2900. "Good! Now attack Selene!" Her swordsman turned right around and slashed right through Acnoella's second dragon with her life points dropping to 2600.
"That attack means this duel is over." Aoneko said.
"True. One direct attack from Space Pirate Fighter will end this duel." Eden said.
"That might be true, but why is it Acnoella doesn't look that worried?" Demon King said as he noticed that Acnoella looked rather calm for someone that was about to lose.
"You don't have to humor me. I can tell with how calm you are, you have something planned." Piratetress said. "You're only this calm in a losing situation when you have a trick up your sleeve."
"You know me too well. It's usually a sweet a daughter would know so much, but it's disturbing in this case." Acnoella said. "I activate Selene's ability! When she's destroyed, I can summon a dragon from my graveyard! I bring back one of my three Dragonoids!" She called as her Dragonoid returned to the field.
"Give me a break! Isn't she tired of playing the same card yet?!" Demon King said.
"Can't Space Pirate Fighter do something? It's got two overlay units. Doesn't it have an ability to help?" Wiseman said.
"I'm afraid it can't." Acnoella said.
"She's right. Space Pirate Fighter's ability allows it to deal double the damage by using an overlay unit when it battles another monster, but Space Pirate Fighter is weaker than her Dragonoid." Eden explained.
"That might be true, but I can still use Space Pirate Swordsman's ability! Since it destroyed two of your monsters, you have to send two cards from your deck to the graveyard." Piratetress claimed. Acnoella did just that, but it didn't bother her. "I end my turn. Since it's the end of my turn, Space Pirate Fighter's ability is over." That means that Space Pirate Swordsman's power dropped back to normal.
"My turn!" Acnoella said and drew her next card. "I activate my Mobius System! You know what that means! I can bring back the two Dragonoids to my field!" She summoned out her other two dragons in defense mode and had 0def points.
"And I bet that means she's going to link summon again, but what is it going to be this time?" Aoneko said.
"No worries. You won't have to wait very long." Acnoella said. "I will now build my circuit once again!" She called with the circuit opening up. "Once again, the summoning conditions require at least two level five or higher dragons! So, I set all three of my Dragonoids in the link arrows!" She had all three dragons dive into the arrows. They dove into the arrows pointing straight up and on both sides. "I link summon Gold Dragon Viernes!" She summoned out a brand new mechanical dragon with it designed after a sphinx and was solid gold. It also had 2800atk points.
"Another dragon just like the other two?! This is getting old!" Wiseman complained.
"Perhaps, but that dragon is the strongest one yet, and must hold one powerful and dangerous ability." Eden said as this isn't shaping to be good for Piratetress.
"I activate Viernes' special ability!" Acnoella called. "Since it has a monster next to it's link, I can negate the special ability of all other cards on the field! Even facedown cards can't activate this turn!"
"All other cards on the field have their effects negated?! Can she really do that?!" Wiseman said.
"She can! Take a look on the field!" Aoneko said. "Piratetress' Space Pirate Fighter is currently linked to Viernes! Which means she can use Viernes' ability!"
"That's right, my daughter! I'm using your own monsters to bring upon your defeat!" Acnoella called. "Rain of Gold!" Viernes caused gold coins to rain down on the field with all of Piratetress' and even Acnoella's own cards turning to gold.
"Not bad, but she has to do a lot more if she wants to win this duel. Small attacks like that aren't going to work." Shura said.
"Is that so, Shura? Good thing I'm not finished just yet! Blocking her cards effects was to help her see the hopelessness of her situation! " Acnoella said. "If Viernes destroys the monster on my opponent's field that is currently linked to it, Viernes can inflict that monster's attack points as damage!"
"Damage?!" Aoneko said. "Oh no! Space Pirate Fighter has 2600atk points! If Viernes destroys it, she'll lose a total of 2800LP!"
"But she doesn't have enough to survive that!" Wiseman said. "I can't believe it! Is this really how it ends for her?!"
"My daughter... You were foolish to even consider opposing us!" Acnoella said. "Viernes, attack and destroy Space Pirate Fighter! Finish her off! Golden Dragon Radiance!" Her dragon attacked by unleashing an explosion of gold light from it's body. This could be the end of the duel right there.
"This is the end of nothing!" Piratetress called. "Viernes might have stopped me from using the abilities of all the cards I have on my field, but not the ones I hold in my hand!"
"What?!" Acnoella called.
"From my hand, I'm activating the effects of Star Space Pirate!" Pirateress called. "By simply sending this card in my hand to the graveyard, I take no damage for the duration of any battles between my Space Pirates!" She couldn't stop her monster from being destroyed, but the light was stopped before it reached her and kept her life points safe. "That means I'm safe for another round."
"She's hanging in there, but can she keep it up?" Wiseman questioned.
"She won't if I have anything to say about it." Acnoella said. "For now, I will just simply end my turn. Since we've now reached the end of this turn, all cards are now free from Viernes' power. At least until I can get a monster next to his link again." She claimed as all the cards returned to normal.
"My turn! I draw!" Piratetress said and drew her next card. "Perfect. I'll begin by summoning Space Pirate Doctor!" She summoned out another pirate, a bit more alien since it was a humanoid reindeer. It also had 800atk points. "Thanks to my doctor's special ability, I can have a Space Pirate return to my hand. I select my Star Space Pirate." She claimed as she took her card back. "Next, I activate Space Pirate Treasure!"
"I remember that card. That card allows her to summon again this turn." Aoneko said.
"And the one I'm summoning is Star Space Pirate!" Piratetress said. She summoned out another pirate that was dressed all yellow and glowing like a star with it having 1500atk points. "I'm sure you remember this spell as well. I activate Space Pirate Fusion!"
"Her fusion spell! That can only mean one thing!" Demon King said.
"I fuse together Space Pirate Doctor with Star Space Pirate!" Piratetress said with her two monsters fusing together. "As he rouses the Seven Seas, as well as conqueror the great cosmos, this pirate brings upon true freedom! I fusion summon Space Pirate Captain!" She summoned out her ace monster as he appeared on the field with his 2800atk points. "Space Pirate Fusion also allows me to bring back the two monsters that was used to fusion summon my captain!" She claimed with both of her monsters coming back.
"Four monsters, but not one of them is strong enough to defeat Viernes." Shura said.
"Unless she's planning to destroy both her captain and that dragon. They have the same attack points." Shura said. "That will leave Acnoella wide open for a direct attack and finish this."
"Appreciate the idea, but that's not my style. I have something else in mind." Piratetress claimed. "I activate Star Space Pirate's ability! I can tribute it and one other monster on my field to bring back one Space Pirate from my graveyard!?" She tributed bother her doctor and her pirate. "I resurrect Space Pirate Fighter!" She brought back her fighter and now had three monsters on the field.
"No! This can't be!" Acnoella said as she could see what her daughter was planning, and it was trouble for her.
"I activate Space Pirate Fighter's special ability to give himself an extra 200atk points for every Space Pirate on my field!" Piratetress said as Space Pirate Fighter's attack power rose to 3200. "It's over! Space Pirate Fighter, destroy Viernes with Burning Grand Strike!" Her fighter spun around at great speed with his leg burning red hot. Then, he jumped right at Viernes and destroyed it in one shot with Acnoella's life points dropping to 2200. "It's over! Space Pirate Captain, attack and end this with Cosmic Forcer!" Her captain attacked as he unleashed a great force that smashed against Acnoella and knocked out the last of her life points and knocked her off her feet.
"She won!" Aoneko cheered as she and the boys were glad to see this.
"No... This can't be..." Acnoella said as she stood back up.
"It is." Piratetress said as she appeared to have no remorse over what happened. "You might be my mother, but you're cynical. I will do what I must to defeat my enemies and put a stop to your plans." Acnoella looked at her own daughter with great anger. They might be mother and daughter, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be enemies.
"You've certainly lived up to your reputation, Piratetress." Poseidon Nero claimed. "It's a shame that you won't be joining us, but this will not hinder my plans. A new age will soon be upon us, and I shall be the one to lead it. Demon King, the offer still stands for you."
"Not a chance. I don't want to be any part of what you're planning." Demon King said.
"That's perfect because you and I still have a score to settle." Shura said as he wanted another piece of Demon King. "You may have beaten me before, but I'm getting stronger and better. I'm going to enjoy putting you in your place."
"You just don't seem to learn." Demon King said. He was ready to take on Shura again if that's what he has to do for him to stop them.
"Wait. Before we do anything, we must have answers. Poseidon Nero, how is it you were able to message us. Doing so would mean you have some indication as to who we are." Eden said. "How is it you would know who we really are?"
"Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that." Demon King said.
"Normally, it might not seem so strange. Duelists in duel links are capable of messaging each other." Eden said. "However, what makes this rather strange is that it wasn't sent by email. It was sent directly to our home in the real world."
"Wait! That's how they messaged you?!" Wiseman said. "That is serious! That means they have to know who you really are Demon King."
"But you don't remind me of anyone I know, and I have my doubts you were friends with anyone I might know." Demon King figured. "So, what's the deal? How do you know me?"
"Well, to be perfectly honest, I don't." Poseidon Nero claimed, but that makes no sense to them. "Regardless of how I wanted to form an alliance with you, Demon King, I am not the one who sent the message. It was sent by another who I have allied myself with, but I do not know if I fully trust him. However, he did not share any information with me about your identity, so it still remains a secret to me."
"What? Another?! Who?!" Demon King questioned. Who could possibly know who Demon King is in the real world, and where he lives to send a message like that? That would have to take someone he knows personally. Just then, something shot through the ceiling and took the entire roof of the place off. The impact sent out immense shockwaves that knocked Demon King and his friend off his feet.
"What is it now?!" Eden said.
"I was wondering when he was going to show." Poseidon Nero claimed. They all tried to see who just crashed into the place. They all looked to see some sort of dark figure with upward horns with his chest armor having a mouth-like piece that had pieces similar to fangs.
"Who is that?" Aoneko said as she was a little afraid. Whoever that was is clearly powerful to make an entrance like that.
"What is that?" Piratetress corrected as she saw something else about that figure. He had the face of a skull.
"Hello, Demon King." The thing said, but it didn't even sound human. The voice sounded more like a robot. "My name...is Ziggy." Ziggy?! That was the same name as Shiki's grandfather. How could this thing have the same name as his grandfather and know about him? Coincidence seems unlikely. Who is he?
