Loabi
Night 1
The moon is out, to play at last. Send the cast to sleep so fast. Two are left awake. Kano and his good buddy Slade.
Well, when doesn't Kano make stuff up?
He's pulled Slade aside, one assassin to another, filling him in on what he heard a few hours ago.
"Dunno about you mate but we aren't taking this. We're the bad men. Causing trouble, stirring up chaos, that's who we are…" Kano notes, setting a finger on his chest. "Once the Black Dragon's out, they are comin' after you next."
Deathstroke himself pops his wrist. "As interesting a flip would be..we don't know where T'Challa stands."
"He says he's about the honor and loyal way..bullshit!" Kano chuckles. "He's one of us, he just won't accept it."
"Won't acknowledge it." Slade corrects. "It's better for his game, but for us he needs to lie to that five. They WILL cut him if given the chance."
"Yeah.." Kano smirks. "Love someone with common sense."
Kano: They wanna roast me ass over the fire.
He clicks his tongue and wags a finger.
Kano: Not on my time.
The rugged man slaps Slade on the shoulder. "Tell T we need ta do business."
"Will do."
When Kano leaves his view, his eyes show a dirty look under the mask. "He really is a douchebag. I see where I went wrong."
Slade: I'll be fine. Even if T'Challa doesn't save the Black Dragon, I can spin it to make HIM look like the bad guy. In reality..we're working together. He's my fall guy for this operation. I'm not worried about being the minority because I'm BARELY in it. They'd rather keep me over the three on the chopping block. There's always an early swap. That's how I get out of jail free.
Wow, so Slade and T'Challa ARE an alliance. The cameras must not have caught that conversation.
Slade: It doesn't matter which way we go. I will live to see another day.
Hathura
Day 2
Blu, Li Mei, Little Mac, Metal Sonic, Nefarious, Peach, Ripley, Sektor, Shane, and Zelda
New day, new talks.
Well, everyone in Hathura has luckily made it to Day two again. There has yet to be a medevac on day one. Imagine if that happened to someone in the series, they would have to be robbed of their experience.
Happened to Bruce on "44" and he got to comeback. Sackboy got his second chance this time, so maybe there'd be an exception for them.
Speaking of robbed, the second rock draw victim in Mac, and Metal are heading to that well. On the way, they occupy themselves..with themselves.
"Your strength is much needed, so I'm appeased they put you here to help. If we're ever failing a these challenge you have full permission to carry us." Metal jokes.
Mac rubs his neck. "Haha thanks man. People go crazy for that. Every time i scroll on my feed, it's Claptrap over and over again. Did you know moms were naming their KIDS after me?"
"It's better they name their children that, than Nefarious. Or Sektor. Are they trying to make the next supervillain?"
"Awww..well I hope if someone did their kid looks up to someone like me, or my coach." Shoutout to Doc Louis. "We know what it's like to have disadvantages.
"Not surprised. The casual fans look up to the strongest."
Mac tilts his head. "What about the hardcore ones?
"They absolutely don't."
Mac takes in that information. He did play a subtle strategic game, letting Gordon know the votes wre going on Luigi, and idol'ing Monty out. Chef got blood on his hands, Mac didn't. He seeks to play the same type of game.
But what does he think about Metal?
Mac: You would never know Metal's THAT cold blooded by talking to him. He'll compliment you, he even has…HUMOR? That's not who I watched, he was plotting and scheming! What happened to the Metal I watched?
Social game happened.
They get to the well, and Mac takes the duty of scooping water into their canteens. Metal takes this time to add a sprinkle of game.
"Is there anyone that makes you suspicious?" he asks.
"I dunno…this whole Shane versus Nefarious thing started and I haven't had a lot of time to think." Mac admits, getting some water in Metal's canteen. "You feel the same?"
"It's more complicated on my end considering we both know my involvement." Metal answers.
"Yeah.."
Little do they know..there's another prescence there. Hiding under a large bush..it's SHANE, letting a few breaths out. So far there hasn't been any valuable information given to him, but it seems he might get some.
Then, he makes the gravest mistake you can make as a spy…
.
.
.
He sneezes.
"aCHOOO!"
In confessional, he facepalms.
Shane: …why couldn't I hold it in man?
That catches the attention of Metal and Mac, so the former walks that direction, casually, like it's a Saturday morning. He moves some bush aside and finds Shane rolling to his feet.
"..oh hey Mets. Just wanted to make sure that Doc wasn't planting his seeds."
"..Do you mind if we continue our PRIVATE conversation?"
"Yeah. Go ahead." Shane says, walking off and leaving them be. It's reluctant, but HE even knows it would be worse if he fought back.
After he heads out…
"He always do that?" Mac asks.
"He's a Snake fan…"
In confessional, Metal's shaking his head like a disappointed parent. His opinion of Shane lowers every day, all thanks to that same paranoia that contributed to his blindside last time.
Loabi
Day 2
Chun-Li, Cyrax, Dark Samus, Diana, Gordon, Kabal, Kano, Sackboy, Slade, and T'Challa
Out of both tribes, the ten Loabi seem to be kicking up their gameplay the quickest. Sure, Shane and Nefarious hit the beach running against each other on Hathuru, but there's whole alliances coming together on this tribe.
There's a group of five that just started. It's hard to say whether that will last or not. However, the Black Dragon are looking for more members. They have Dark Samus, Season 4's antagonist on their side, but they need two more.
Kano already briefed Slade, but Kabal takes him and T'Challa through a big rock that can fit a whole tribe. If this is an alliance, Kabal wants to make it look as equal as possible.
"We need to tie the vote to get out alive. This is a special season, those pricks in production can pull anything on us. No swap? We're all screwed because their team of super friends are so strong they can throw challenges and win whenever they want." Kabal leans on that rock, waiting for a response.
"Here's my thing." T'Challa starts. "Kano is unpredictable. Having a loose cannon in the alliance is not going to work."
"One vote."
"My problem isn't you. It's Kano. There's a reason you outlasted him. He's hard to work with, he likes things done HIS way, and that's not someone we can work around." The King explains.
"I get it."
"It's easy to say because you're close. Anyone outside of your clan can see with him around, it's a dangerous game." T'Challa pushes.
Slade's looking back and forth as those two go back and forth. A free front seat.
Slade: Seeing these people clash is hilarious. T'Challa's "loyal until I say so" style, and Kabal's "silent but deadly" style..those aren't going to mesh. This alliance is a lost cause.
There's nothing new being added, so Kabal cuts it off. "If we can't agree, that's fine, what happens to Kano happens."
"You're willing to lose him?"
"I HAVE to. To get anywhere. Don't have a choice because there's already a big alliance ready to dictate everything." Kabal leaves the rock to get away from Wakanda's ruler for a minute. He's not a happy camper.
His confessional shows it.
Kabal: I'm ready to lose Kano. T'Challa's complacent, and Slade's gonna jump where the majority goes. Yeah they can come at me because of "threat" status, but I wouldn't have won that jury! Sonic had it locked up! I'm no big dog! If you ask me they should look over us and go for someone who's ACTUALLY a threat. Like Cyrax! JEFF called him one of the best, we can get him right now..
He raises his arms like he's a hostage.
Kabal: But we can't do that because the Black Dragon are evil! EVIL!
While Kabal goes to cool down, three out of that new five walk along the shore. Gordon. Li. Diana. A strong group of people.
"If we're really desperate to throw them out, we can throw and get it over with." Chef says, but judging from the wide eyes of the women…they might think he's crazy.
"No." Diana declines. "We'll have plenty of time to split them up."
"Thought the same. Then Kabal almost made it."
Li steps to his front. "We shouldn't throw the first challenge. I'm not saying we can't throw one's later, but we don't know how tight the other tribe is right now."
Gordon scoffs. "Shane and Nefarious can't work together to save their lives. Challenges are the least of their problems."
"I know you want to jump on throats…but throwing early HAS backfired. What if we throw and they have an idol? They'll play it, and send one of us home. We can afford to lose now." Li reasons, trying to appeal to his British head.
Gordon rubs his own. "My…I'm a mess."
Li gives him a side hug. "Don't less the stress of this game get to you. You made it to fourty-two days, the most anyone ever has."
Chef looks around. "Yes but I don't want to make the same mistakes."
"We just started. Don't overplay, because that can you home much earlier than you want to." Li counters. "We need you here."
He gives one pat on the back her back. "I won't beat myself over it." He breaks the hug, enough for one day. Neither woman actually knows whether he's better or not, they can't jump into his head. For now, Gordon's calmed down. He has a little Survivor PTSD from everything the Black Dragon did in Fiji, from the Toriel play from Kabal, to the forced rock draw from Kano.
Even after Kano left, Kabal was still a problem for him. If Kabal won the last immunity, he would have taken out Sonic and lost to Gordon..but the chef wanted Kabal out earlier. He just wouldn't stop trading immunities with Sonic.
Li and Diana are aware of Gordon's new plans, but neithers going to call him out because of their respect for him.
Chun-Li: Gordon's trying to overcorrect. Kabal did start the game that Samus copied. He did win a few immunities to scrape by..but throwing has backfired so much. Drew Christy tried to throw and thought he would get Kelly Wentworth. That failed and he went home looking like a fool. I don't want Gordon to suffer the same fate because I respect what he does. He supports his family, it's like he's a completely different person around them, not at all the one you see on T.V. He'll call out harassment when he sees it, and people like me and Diana appreciate that. I'm glad I could bring him back down to earth, because there's too much to lose if we go through with this.
Loabi
Night 2
A half moon is out, and Dreamworks fans everywhere are celebrating.
Two players are out in the wild: Kano and Kabal. They are digging in bushes, but can't seem to find anything. Kano flipped off the bush and moves onto the tree.
Kano: If everyones playin' it like a bloody merge, we're playin like it's the endgame. Idol, idol, idol hehehe.
Kabal throws a branch to the side. "Find anything?"
"Nope. These producers have to be fucking with us, there's always an idol out here."
The more..rational member of the group starts shaking the branches of another tree, and…
.
.
.
Nothing falls.
"..this is gonna be a long night."
Kano lifts a big rock, and just finds an army of worms under there. He takes one, causally devours the thing, and picks the rock up! "Mm..not bad."
"..did you just eat a worm?"
"We've eaten worse mate."
Two red dots emerge in the dark. Kabal gives Kano a tap. "Whaddya—OH HELL."
They get closer, and closer. "Bug off will ya?!" Kano warns, launching that rock at the silhoutte. To his dismay, it gets caught and slammed onto the ground! "Oy…"
Kabal picks up a branch, ready to fight whatever this beast is.
.
.
It's just Metal Sonic. "Is this how you greet mortals?"
Kano throws his hands up. "What the hell? Couldn't have said anything first?"
"I'm the only one with red eyes."
"And I'm jumpy." Kano retorts. "You here for business?"
"We both know why I'm here. You are in the minority. I'm going to be in the minority. Why not make a deal across beaches to protect each other?" Metal pitches, and that puts a big smile on Kano's face. "You wanna be an honorary Dragon?"
"I'll do whatever it takes for survival."
Kano scratches his chin. "Hmm…who else you got?"
"Sektor. Nefarious is a sinking ship, don't be surprised if he's gone first. We need an alliance to come to." The hedgehog admits.
"We got room for two. You and Sektor are in. We just need more protection. You've worked with idols before, yeah?"
"Precisely."
"Then here's the deal. If we find a clue at the challenge, or an idol at all..we can send it over depending on whatever the hell happens next. If Nefarious goes and we find it, we'll send it to you. If one of us goes, and you find it..you send it here because they won't stop until the both of us are gone." Kano explains. "Sound like a deal?"
"I'll do it..now if we ALL find the idols, we'll need a good swap. Then we'll pick off the opposition." Metal adds. "Does THAT sound like a good deal?"
"You trying to one up me?"
"Do you want the deal or not?"
Kano smacks his lips. "YES. It was a joke. You seen our season before?"
"I don't care. What matters is we have this alliance as a fall-back. We break it, we go home one by one."
Kabal stabs the ground with that branch. "See each other tomorrow?"
"Hell yeah we will." Kano answers, seeming to be onboard with this alliance.
Kano: Surprised that pile of scraps wants to work with me since I messed with him at the mat chat..but I'm not gonna remind him. Black Dragon was always going to have a bullseye on us, so that sweet insurance is going to keep us around longer. Sorry lads, we're not going anywhere.
Hathuru
Night 2
There's more hunting going on Hathuru's end as well. Sektor's digging near palm trees, going under the roots and everything. Knowing he's on the bottom, he won't stand by and let the game go on around him.
He's here to outwit, outplay, and outlast Cyrax by any means necessary.
Sektor: They hide idols in the most obscure places. I could have walked past it a number of times.
He looks up to the sky.
Sektor: Maybe if I search in the clouds, I will seek it.
It doesn't matter where he digs, or looks through on the shore, he just can't find any idols. So he goes exploring in the woods, looking for better luck there. He did find two idols during his season. He used his first idol to take out Gazelle in a shocking tribal for the players, and got brutally blindsided by his former ally.
It's former because Sektor and Cyrax still have tension with each other. They haven't talked it out or anything, and that resentment partially drives the cyborg.
Sektor: I'm not handing any idols away unless it benefits ME. Trusting Cyrax was the biggest mistake of my life. I've repeated enough about his betrayal. This season, I will make up for it.
He starts shaking a whole tree, but all that comes down are coconuts. He just kicks that food source he doesn't need to the side!
"They don't deserve it."
If somebody caught Sektor kicking literal resources to the side, he might move above Nefarious on the hit list. Fortunately for him, mostly everyone's asleep.
He hears clanking and turns to see Metal, back from his field trip. "What did they say?"
"Kano was vulgar as usual..but we have an escape plan past Nefarious. You, me, and whoever survives the Black Dragon Massacre will link up. We're all we have." Metal notes. "We can blend in with everyone here but that doesn't mean they'll trust us in the game."
The cyborg gets a hand on that tree. "Our reputations proceed us."
"We'll add to them."
Metal Sonic: I don't care who or what I have to work with to get through this. Everyone wants my head on a pike for the actions I committed in Samoa. You have to work harder than this to even get close.
