Loabi

Night 6

The castaways arrive at camp, leaning their torches on the original torch tree. It was a bad night for Black Dragon fans, but even worse for Kano.

Kano: Here I am with egg on my face. F*ck these people. I'd say f*ck Slade but "master" Metal won't let that happen. I can't wait to blow shit up.

He takes a seat next to the fire, and Cyrax sits right next to him. "Are you open to discussion?"

Kano clicks his tongue. "Don't give me a complicated answer. Why'd he go?"

"He stuck out more."

"I'M the biggest menace here, and HE stands out more? Just say ya wanna screw me over! Is Samus next?" Kano asks, scooting closer to him.

"It depends."

Kano scoffs. "You're always so damn vague, ya know that?"

"You're confrontational, if I tell you what's going on, it'll be bad for everyone else."

"Uh huh." Kano gets to his feet. "Thanks for nothin' ya scrap." He leaves the cyborg behind, and instead walks into the distance with Dark Samus.

Cyrax is not a fan.

Cyrax: Kano didn't take it well, but anytime someone has the audacity to play the game against him, he won't take it well. I'm not used to being a target this early but if Kano's my opponent, I'll be alive for a long duration.

Kano and Cyrax weren't the only ones in the hot seat. Slade's sitting down too, with Diana and Gordon around him.

"We've got eachother's backs." Diana says. "Don't let anyone tell us otherwise."

"You're damn right we do." Slade responds, staring at the fire. Given the swearing, he seems more loose with his language this time around.

Diana: When I said WE had eachothers backs, I meant the four. Even though we have the advantage over Season Four, I still don't have much trust in Slade. I know how deceptive he can be, he's not going to be loyal forever…but I'd rather we have him than they do.

While the seven chill at camp, Kano and Dark Samus are in the darkness, physically and mentally.

"I say we raise hell tomorrow. F*ck 'em." Kano says, kicking some dirt to the side.

"After you're gone, three of them will want me gone anyway. We don't owe them anything." The Dark Samus responds, keeping it at that.

This may not be a good social play, but do they even care?

Dark Samus: They won't let me near the merge. So why should I let them live in peace? They won't let ME live?

Loabi

Day 7

Chun-Li, Cyrax, Dark Samus, Diana, Gordon, Kano, Sackboy, Slade, and T'Challa

Its a windy day out, most trees brushing to the side.

After last night, everyone on Loabi knows there's some tension. Two of them know what's going to happen because of it.

It's not going to pretty.

While Kano grabs a bucket of water, he's got a snare on. "Let's see how they like this.."

Kano: They've got it coming. I'm gone next, so why not raise hell on the way out?

At the campfire, Li, Gordon, and Sackboy are sitting around it. They are shivering a little from the winds chill, and lucky for them, the fire is a good source of warmth.

Li spots Kano in the distance, and taps the chef. "Should we try more damage control?"

"Damage is already done." Gordon shuts it down.

"We should do it before he does something he'll regret." Li says, getting to her feet. "Kano!"

He just walks past her and douses the fire! That fire is gone gone gone, and just like that he draws the ire of the chef. "What..the hell was that?"

Kano practically throws the bucket down. "You know how it is."

"No, I DON'T know why you snuffed the fire like a dickhead." Gordon responds, stepping up. "You learned NOTHING."

"Again, I'm not changing myself for n—"

"YOU SHOULD HAVE. You toasted your own ass!" Gordon shouts. "I hope you have the idol mate, because if you don't.." he's inches away from his face. "You're DONE."

Kano's the least of his worries, because Dark Samus is in view.

Chun-Li: Nobody could have expected how low they would stoop.

The hybrid just starts chopping at the side of the shelter! Li sprints over, but after some quick chops, the roof collapses onto the floor!

"Samus!" Li shouts, ripping the machete from her. "You are out of your mind!"

"If I don't get to live, nobody does."

"Selfish!"

"Don't say this surprises you. You know my true colors." Dark Samus says, walking right past her, but Li follows her.

"Why do you keep acting like this? Who traumatized you?"

"I'm not a hero, Li. I can't, and don't want to be redeemed! Living this way brings me success after success after success! You were foolish enough to let me take to the shelter. You trusted me with a machete.." The hybrid explains. "You should be smarter this time around."

Li crosses her arms. "You and Kano have a lot in common. Arrogant. Villains. Didn't learn anything."

Speaking of Kano, he's still bickering with Gordon.

"If you thought we'd cry about this, you're a bellend. You just sealed your own fate. Tell Kabal I said HI!" That chefs taking it to him.

"We need some time a part." Kano says, smirking in the chefs face.

"Can't even take it seriously…"

In his confessional, Gordon's MORE furious!

Gordon: He's DONE. DONE! You want to act like a child, we'll treat you like one! Take your diaper and go home! That rotten bastard can join his bestie in prison.

Dark Samus walks past Gordon and Kano's argument, Li still following. "Do you think the audience is going to pity you?"

"No…but they'll pity you for being overshadowed by a man. Again." Wow Dark, living up to the villainous reputation.

At this point, the bickering gets EVERYONE to come over, like it's an emergency! They have a good look at the sight at camp. It's like a tornado ran through!

Diana facepalms.

Diana: These are adults. Throwing a temper tantrum. They should know better. Some people can't shake off their childish habits.

T'Challa glares when he sees the shelter down. "What happened here?"

"Oh I'll tell you what happened!" Gordon exclaims. "THESE TWO decided it'd be fun to storm in and f*ck around!"

The Wakandan directs his glare at Kano. "Why must you prove me right?"

"You're unbearable with this little act. Just say you hate my guts."

"I'm disappointed in your guts." T'Challa says, not entertaining Kano's chaos.

T'Challa: Part of me wishes we saved Kabal instead.

Li jumps in too. "Don't let Samus off the hook, she chopped the shelter."

All eyes go on the hybrid now! She just stares back. "If I don't get to live, you don't get to."

"Selfish." Diana says.

"It's everyone for themselves."

"We still have to live WITH each other!" Diana says sternly, walking over to the demolished shelter. "Do you even care?"

"No." That response just gets stares from the tribe. Kano snickering at the answer, but for everyone else: THIS is the menace they remember from her season.

It's a problem.

Chun-Li: I won't play with someone like her again. She and Kano can scramble all they want, but when we split it one of them are going home. End of story.

Gordon, and now Li, aren't tolerating them anymore.

Hathuru

Day 7

Blu, Li Mei, Little Mac, Metal Sonic, Peach, Ripley, Sektor, Shane, and Zelda

While Loabi deals with literal demolition, Hathuru doesn't have to worry about their shelter. They have to worry about each other, because Shane's back in survival mode. He may have a strong backing, but Shane loves to look at every nook and cranny.

He gets both princesses alone at camp, and keeps the target on Metal.

"Lemme tell you somethin'.." he starts, rubbing his scalp. "Metal's always been good at the social game. Don't let him distract you, he will NOT hesitate to cut your throat."

"That's true." Zelda admits. "He's nice to our faces but I imagine he's plotting our demise behind our back."

"Ripley won't mind doin' it. Those three gotta GO." Shane says, clasping a branch with both hands. "They just spell trouble, know what I mean?"

Zelda stretches her arm. "We know. With all due respect, you don't have to repeat yourself."

Shane clicks his tongue. "Just lettin' you know…"

While the other two seem to agree, Peach airs her thoughts in a confessional.

Peach: Shane is so insistent on getting rid of his own cast. Why is he so focused on that? Does he want US to play his game for him? I didn't come back after my last experience to play a man's game. It's me and Zelda to the end, no matter what.

Shane catches Peach silent and turns to her. "You gonna let him and Ripley run you over?"

The Princess sighs. "She's been trying to repair us. Just don't see it happening.."

"Hey, she stabbed you once, she'll do it again. She is NOT good for you, so we gotta take the shot anyway." Shane suggests, and suggests is..an interesting word to use.

Peach: Shane is so forceful with his campaigns. How will he ever get elected by doing this? Yes, his points about Metal and Ripley are valid, but after they are gone..can I even trust HIM?

After Shane eventually leaves, the princesses are alone. Peach wastes no time raising her suspicions.

"Does Shane seem a little forceful?" Peach asks.

"It's how he talks to people. There's nothing awful about it, but he seems desperate to lead an alliance again." The Hyrulian sips from her canteen. "That makes me question where we are on his ladder."

"Who do you feel he has?"

"He, Mac, and Mei got along building the shelter. Blu's always gotten along with them too, as personalities and players." Zelda explains, and it's not hard to see considering the outcasts are really obvious. "I just don't know where we fit."

Peach brushes her blonde hair aside. "I'd love to work with Blu! But..does she want us in the group?"

"If she was a dominant player I think she would jump at the chance." The Hyrulian pops her wrist. "Shane's presence changes everything. If he's not there, we would be in a much better position."

"Would he freak out if he saw Blu speaking to us?"

"He has trauma from flippers. The moment he sees Blu with us, he'll take care of us before Ripley goes anywhere." Zelda theorizes, putting on a thinking cap. "We aren't in the best spot, but we'll make the best of it."

"Been there before."

Zelda explains more in confessional.

Zelda: We can either spare a controlling, paranoid maniac, or a manipulative, paranoid maniac. Metal is the most devious to ever play, but Shane is like Price without the charm.

OUCH. Zelda may not have meant for that to sting, but knowing how far Price's number one went..maybe she did.

The Hyrulian immediately runs to Sektor, and fills him in on what Shane said. The cyborg slowly turns to her, and she backs away, knowing he's not happy about Shane's persistence.

"He refuses to let this go?"

"He wants you eradicated. I don't know how Peach feels about this, but I don't want to lay down for him." Zelda admits, showing where she stands.

"I won't either.."

"He wants Metal, then you, then Ripley."

"As expected.."

Sektor: His refusal to leave me out of this..enrages me. He will repeat my name until my torch is sniffed. He hates me so much he'll side with CYRAX to spite me! Hell will get a demon when his time comes.

Jeez…why make it so personal?

The cyborg still wants to get to the bottom of this. "All we need is Peach?"

"Yes."

"May I ask.." Sektor just turns to an oncoming Ripley in the distance. One nod from Zelda confirms what he and Metal suspected the whole time.

"Ah.."

The two stop to let Ripley enter the convo. "This is a weird group." Her dry talk gets a laugh from the two. Wait, Sektor let out a chuckle?

Ripley: My new, dark, evil alliance gave it to me straight: We need Peach. I shouldn't be surprised that Zelda's ready to rebuild our bridge, she was always more focused on the game.

Ripley shakes Zelda's hand. "Glad to have you back."

"Me too."

Zelda: Do I REALLY trust Ripley again? That's going to take some time, because she did associate herself with notable traitors. Will they work together to flip on us again? I don't know, but all I do know is that we have to show our cards tonight.

The man who caused all of this talk, big Shane, is working on the fire. Li Mei and Mac park it in the shelter, getting a little break for the day. They don't get much time for solitude.

..because Sektor shows up.

"Sup Sektor?" Mac asks.

"Hello Mac. Li Mei." Sektor greets, looking down at Shane. "You are a fighter, Shane Walsh." That remark gets a brow raise from Shane. "How am I a fighter?"

"You go on the offensive. At times I look at your aggressive gameplay and see how much progress you make with it." Sektor comments. That's odd.

"..what are you on about?" Shane asks, turning from the fire. Mac and Mei's stares tell all about how they don't know what he's on about.

"Just remember..for every attack, there is a counter. Reading your opponents can be the true key to peace." Sektor just leaves, and Mac covers his mouth.

"What is he—"

Shane scoffs. "He thinks he a bad man.

Cut to Li Mei's confessional.

Li Mei: Sektor approached us and spouted this nonsense about counterattacks. How does someone so smart, act so confusing at the same time?

Cut to Sektor's confessional, and he's sitting on a big rock, like it's a throne.

Sektor: I sent Shane a crucial message: If you get in the way of the Cyber Lin Kuei, you WILL fall like our enemies before us.

Loabi

Night 7

Dark has hit the second chancers yet again. After the carnage during the day, Diana and T'Challa covered the shelter building process once again.

When T'Challa goes to bed, he speaks on it.

T'Challa: The energy we used today could have went to the challenge. All because of bitterness.

Unfortunate for him, but all that conflict did was motivate another player. Like the past few nights, Kano is on the move, all through the jungle.

He looks up, passing tree after tree. One blank space after another.

Kano: They always hide 'em in the same spot. You know why you always see a tree? Cause that's where they always hide the damn things. Lucky for me, I'm gonna cash in on the secrets.

Soon enough, Kano stops a tree, spotting a tree with a…unusual shape on a branch. He jumps up and clinches the branch, using his other hand to tug the idol down.

"YES.." Kano whispers, punching the tree in excitement. He turns to the camera and shows off the idol itself, a round shape.

Like a medallion.

"Another win for the Black Dragon."

In his confessional, he pockets the medallion.

Kano: Thats gonna stay a secret. Sucks to suck Sams, you're done for hehe.

He pats that pocket.

Kano: Ah hell..it's so good being bad.

Kano makes his walk back to camp. Slade walks out from behind a tree, causing Kano to trip himself up!

"Oh hell!"

"Kano." Slade says, staring at his empty pocket. "Do you have the idol in there?"

"Why would I be searchin'?"

"…"

"Yeah it's obvious."

"Any luck?" Slade asks.

"Are you my pop?"

"I'm honoring the Villains alliance."

"Didn't honor it last night." Kano snaps back. "We'd have a leg up with Kabal."

"We'd still be in the minority. Cutting Kabal was the better outcome. saves YOU time to group with Metal. To tell you the truth, they don't really see you as a big threat. Well, didn't." Slade hints towards his stunt.

"You think Metal's just gonna let YOU walk in?"

"We all said that if one of us had to go to save the group time, so be it." Slade points out. "If we start killing each other, we're not even making it to the merge."

Kano groans at first, but let's out a snicker. "Man I wanna get you out so bad."

"I know. Trust me." Slade does offer a fist. "We may not be friends, but if you get votes I'll tell you."

"Love that thought."

"You're getting votes."

Slade's dry humor gets a laugh from Kano. "Hahah..I'm laughing at dry comedy. The elements really are killing me.."

Cut to Slade's confessional.

Slade: Kano's a ticking time bomb, bound to explode at any second now..but if I can handle him well enough, he can be MY little time bomb. Do you think I'll walk into an alliance where Metal has the most pull? No. I'm ready for the moment he turns on me, and he should be the same.

Hathuru: Night 7

Loabi isn't the only tribe with night action.

Ripley crawls from a bush, and wipes her hands. She looks at two red eyes. "Nothing."

"Luckily for us.." that metal hedgehog pulls out the idol! "I do."

The 'Alien' protag brushes sand from her pants. "Next time we go, you NEED to use it."

"Shane's done."

Metal Sonic: I could use this to end Shane tonight..but if we have the votes anyway, i'm not wasting my idol. These people will hunt me down until my metallic head's on a stick. So why not hold it? They won't let me win. I'll use anyone or anything to get as far as i can.

Well after what just went down on Loabi, Kano and Dark Samus have solidified themselves as a couple of the most cruel players to ever get on the show. Destroying apart of camp just because they are on the bottom. Kano laughed in their face, Dark Samus was downright remorseless about everything. Not shocking to some fans, but others won't approve of this.

As for Hathuru, Shane and Metal are ready to end their conflict at the next Tribal they go to. There's no avoiding or getting around it..unless Sektor says more confusing stuff. He's worked on some aspects of the "social" but still fails in others.

The next chapter is going to feature small scenes from both tribes, the immunity challenge, and Tribal Council where people are going home! Ticket out, I'll see you for Day Eight!
