Immunity Challenge

Day 8

"Come on in!"

The nine Hathuru enter first, and they don't see the usual challenge set up. There's TWO of them.

"Ohhh Jeff…" Shane says, looking at both. "Why do you do this?"

"Second Chance, Shane. We'll be coming at you even harder."

"Damn."

The nine stop by, and more tribe members get confessionals about this twist.

Peach: Oh my..we aren't switching tribes are we?

Cut to Ripley's confession.

Ripley: I see two sets of an immunity. We're all going to tribal.

Cut to Mac's confessional.

Mac: You already know I'm ready to finally, get an immunity. I just need to knock Sektor out! Easier said than done. He literally has an iron jaw.

Hathuru's caught off guard, but they won't be the only ones. "Welcome to the challenge. Before we begin, get a look at the new Loabi tribe.."

Te new Loabi enters, and Kabal's abscence catches everyone off guard.

"How is he still here?" Zelda asks, spotting Kano.

"My..I don't know what happened but maybe he had an idol." Peach adds, trying to piece it together.

Peach: It's absurd that Kano is still here. I would have preferred Kabal..but Kano always finds a way out. It's frustrating how someone so rude, goes a long way in these games.

Well her view on villainous personalities are clear. Funny considering the situation she's in now.

The nine Loabi come to a stop, and see the two challenges infront of them.

"Jeff, Jeff, jeff." Gordon repeats. "What have you cooked up this time?"

Jeff sets his hands on his hips. "You've waited long enough. Here's what's going down. For todays challenge, there won't be one tribe going to Tribal Council. Not two tribes going to one. BOTH tribes will go to Tribal Council, and two players will lose out on their second chance." He explains.

Shane rubs his scalp. "Really?"

"Really." Jeff responds. "Onto the challenge itself. You'll stand on a narrow perch. You will use a pole to balance a totem ontop. If you step off, or the totem drops: you're out."

One of these again.

"The last people on each tribe standing, win immunity, safe from tonight's Tribal Councils. Loabi, you're up first. Get into position, and we'll get started."

The nine Loabi are on their perches first.

"Immunity is back up for grabs. Whoever drops is vulnerable of being the third person voted out. You're in position…"

.

.

.

"So this challenge is on."

Nobody drops at first. Unfortunately for Sackboy, he's the smallest of them all and has trouble hanging onto the pole. His totem drops.

"Sackboy's out, eight are left."

Chun-Li, Cyrax, Dark Samus, Diana, Gordon, Kano, Slade, and T'Challa are still left, and looking at the field alone…they could be here for a while. Cyrax and Kano readjust their grip, while everyone else stays still.

Someone has to drop out soon.

.

.

Later in the section, Gordon's pole is shaking.

"Oh…f*ck me…"

His totem ends up dropping.

"Gordon's out, seven are left."

The chef joins Sackboy on the bench. "It's ok! You'll get it next time :)"

"I'd kill for your optimism."

Six left. Kano needs it for his safety. Diana and T'Challa are vying for the immunity record. Cyrax and Li would definitely appreciate the safety incase of idol's.

Slade…does he really need it?

The stakes keep them in…for now.

As more time passes, the five start fidgeting. Tiny movements, but any movement can throw someone off…

.

.

.

Deathstroke's totem drops, he steps down.

"Slade, you're out. We are down to FOUR, and this final four is a stacked one."

The Black Panther. Wonder Woman. Chun-Li. Cyrax. Four of the strongest Loabi have to offer, facing off in a battle of endurance. Everyone here has ten immunities combined.

TEN.

"It's going to be a FIGHT!" Jeff shouts. "Just the way i like it."

Nobody can stick through the challenge forever, and eventually the first of this four falls..

"Cyrax, you're out, we're down to three."

As that cyborg heads to the bench, Sektor just bursts into smug laughter. "You believe your way is superior?"

"Got me further than you."

The fallen Loabi laugh at that comeback. Sektor can undermine Cyrax all he wants after their falling out, but Cyrax came closer to winning than he did.

Cyrax: Sektor has the idea I'm at my weakest for dropping. I'm at my strongest. Since I know about the target burnt onto my back, I can manuever to make someone else look bigger. There's nothing but time. You'll be seeing me at the merge.

Is it overconfidence? Or does he have more of a plan than we know?

Soon after he drops, Li falls victim to the challenge too.

"Li's out, and we're down to two. T'Challa, Wakanda's best. Diana, Themyscira's best. Two of our biggest beasts going head to head!"

The two fight through the aches. T'Challa's totem almost drops but he makes a recovery!

Same goes for Diana!

"That pain is setting in…"

Wakanda's own takes a peek at Diana, who's as stern as ever. There's no notable emotion on her face.

T'Challa: Diana is another breed. Dante would be making poor jokes, but when I looked into her eyes I saw a fire within. She's not going to let me win.

The Amazonian is locked in. T'Challa goes for the same approach, anything to take another necklace home.

Diana: I never throw. It doesn't matter if he needs immunity or not. Come and take it.

Some clouds start to form, as Hathuru is STILL waiting on the sideline. They might have to compete at NIGHT!

"They've been standing there for quite a while. We might have to move Tribal if this keeps up!" Jeff exclaims.

Zelda turns to Metal. "How long did it take for you to go numb?" It hits her. "Nevermind."

"If I had trouble, the Black Panther's no match."

Speaking of him, his Maldives castmates in Slade and Ripley have a chat too. "I wasn't around later. How dominant was he?" The man asks.

"T'Challa's an all rounder."

"I see it."

It's only a matter of time before one of them drop…

.

.

.

T'Challa can't hang onto the pole any longer.

"DIANA WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"

The Amazon finally lets go of her pole. She walks over to Jeff, but gets stopped. "Hold on. You'll get your necklace after Hathuru's turn."

She just nods and takes a seat with the rest of her tribe.

In confessional, she's all smiles.

Diana: Number four feels so good.

Someone else also feels so good…

Gordon: Glad to have these big meaty shields covering my ass.

With Loabi's time in the sun done, it's Hathuru's time in the…clouds because of how long that freaking took.

Lord.

The nine Hathuru are on their perches, taking on that totem far ahead.

"Everyone's in position..and this challenge is on. Whoever lasts the longest has a cozy seat next to Diana."

This tribes go around starts..pretty boring. There's nothing of note besides Jeff talking about how the aches and pains will break their bones, and destroy their home planets.

Eventually, someone drops first.

Bye bye, Peach.

"Oh no.."

"Peach, you're out."

The princess frowns, heading back to the sidelines.

Peach: Oh dear…getting eliminated first is still embarrassing. I can only hope my kingdom takes it much better than me.

Nobody joins her for a while. Loabi may have the bigger names for challenges, but this group is a solid bunch. Little Carrier Mac, Li Mei, Shane, Ripley, Sektor..not to mention Metal and Zelda, who have shown to be above average. Even Blu's competent!

Unfortunately for them, someone's totem has to fall next. Nature of the beast…

"Ripley, you're out."

She drops her pole and heads to the sidelines. Right next to Peach.

Peach.

"You think Zelda can pull through?" Ripley asks.

"If anyone can win, Zelda can. She's never needed dirty tricks to get ahead."

Ripley: *shakes her head* This woman never forgets. If she can't forgive, I'm done.

The difficult part of this challenge starts to get to some. Balancing a totem, while balancing yourself can be pretty tough.

Blu can't balance herself and steps off.

"Blu, you're done."

Seven are left, and for a little while more..nobody drops. Quite a few of them are sweating, and a shake starts to grow in most.

Eventually, Mac's totem drops.

"Mac is out. You can be the worlds greatest boxer and still struggle."

A little later..Li Mei's next.

"Mei is out. We are down to four."

Zelda. Shane. Metal. Sektor. Immunity is crucial for a few of them, but if Zelda can pull through and leave them vulnerable, she won't be the target for the night.

The robots literally can't sweat, but the tiny breaths may be a cause of fatigue. Shane is on the opposite end, sweat very much visible.

Gordon: Shane's a living ice cube. You can see the exhaustion in those eyes. He'll melt soon enough.

Like the prophecy fortold, Shane can't go anymore. He drops his pole and walks to the bench, rubbing his scalp on the way. "Damn…"

"Shane is out. Not happy either."

Zelda and the robots hang in there for a while. Not all of them NEED the immunity but it'd be nice to win!

"Everyone left has won immunity before. Who's going to add another to their plate?" Jeff asks, pulling out random quotes.

After more time…

.

.

Zelda drops out.

"Zelda's out, and just like that we're down to two. Metal Sonic, Sektor. One of you WILL have guaranteed protection tonight."

The two keep going for a little while longer..

But….

.

.

.

Metal's totem drops.

"SEKTOR WINS INDIVIDUAL IMMUNITY!"

The cyborg SLAMS his pole down!

SLAM!

SLAM!

"I'VE DONE IT."

On his way to Jeff, he points out Cyrax. "Never tell me your way is superior again!" Cyrax just waves him off.

He's feeling even better in confessional.

Sektor: He must feel so embarrassed.

Cut to Cyrax's…he takes a deep breathe.

Cyrax: Let it go, Cyrax. Let it go…

Sektor reaches his destination.

Jeff's got two necklaces in hand.

"Congratulations Sektor…"

He wraps the first around Sektor's neck.

"To you as well.."

He wraps the second around Diana.

"Sektor, Diana, you're both safe from tonight's Tribal Councils." Jeff states. "Everyone else, still vulnerable, and two of you will be the third and fourth people getting their second chance crushed. Head back to camp, I'll see you tonight."

The tribes hike back to camp, and the last confessional of this portion airs.

Metal Sonic: If anyone can sway Peach, it's Zelda. She's aware of the dynamics. She joins Shane , they leave next. It's funny how Hyrule's chaos needs to control the Mushroom Kingdom's attitude. That's why I threw, In the case I don't need to use my idol, Sektor needs a growing target so he takes the heat off me. His ego does all the work for me. There isn't a high chance, but you don't advance in life without taking chances.

Loabi

Day 8

Chun-Li, Cyrax, Diana, Dark Samus, Gordon, Kano, Sackboy, Slade, and T'Challa

The nine of the tribe arrive back at camp. Diana's the woman of the hour apparently.

"I see why they fear you." T'Challa jokes, getting another look at the necklace. "Next time it's mine."

"I'm not Dante, you aren't taking this from me."

Dante catching strays..

Diana: The competition's better. The Black Panther, Li, Cyrax are in my way. Even Metal's back to terrorize me on a buoy.

There's one person who isn't happy with how things went.

Dark Samus.

Dark Samus: It's either me or Kano. If it's me, I'm glad to have made them miserable.

Kano pulls his ally aside later, by a few palm trees.

"What's the bad news?" She asks.

"I still don't have an idol on me."

"Any good news?"

"We're lambs to the slaughter." Kano responds.

Dark sighs. "If they keep me I'll destroy this place again."

"Like we give a shit about these people!"

Another Dark Samus confession airs.

Dark Samus: If you have it…save me you idiot.

Cut to Kano's…where he pulls out said idol.

Kano: She's not going to be happy with me.

The two go back and forth about the hell they'll raise. A certain cyborg walks past them, but neither really cares to acknowledge him. He just stands right behind Dark Samus…

"Cyrax deserves our votes. How nobody wants him gone is beyond me." She says, so so unaware. Kano spots him but doesn't even mention it at all. He just shakes his head.

"Yeah, he's gotta go."

In confessional, he facepalms.

Cyrax: I am surrounded by delusional people.

Kano and Dark may be plotting for after the vote, but their biggest enemies are too. Gordon and Ali are setting in stone what's going to happen.

Or at least trying.

"Ready to split it on Kano. Haven't been doing this shit at all.." Gordon remarks, the heavy sarcasm showing how sick he is of this. "Let's just put him out of his misery."

"You know he always has a Plan B." Li reminds.

"Cause he's a stubborn prick. Stubborn pricks always last long."

Li's got an easy replacement. "I have no issue getting rid of Dark. She's just as bad, if not worse. She'll lie about anything, she's even fooled some of us before. Kano's a bad liar who shoots himself in the foot."

"If he doesn't have the idol.." Li starts, but Ramsay shuts it down. "He does..but knowing who else is on the island I don't want to give him the chance to survive."

"Are you willing to keep him even if he does have it?" Li asks.

"Don't want to take the chance." Gordon admits. "Even if we throw four on Kano, we can throw three on her (Dark Samus)."

"I'd love to see her go." Li adds. "Either way, we're getting what we want."

Li: I'm so grateful they tanked themselves. If they manage a tie, one of them goes. If they use an idol, one of them goes. The only problem is the headache I'm about to get when they bring up the shelter at Tribal. Jeff is going to make us relive it all over.

Hathuru

Day 8

Blu, Li Mei, Little Mac, Metal Sonic, Princess Peach, Ripley, Sektor, Shane, and Zelda

After Loabi ran around, it's Hathuru's turn as they get back to camp. Not five seconds in, and Sektor's getting a confessional.

Sektor: I got my victory over Cyrax. I will ensure Metal gets his victory over Shane in a fiery blaze. Cyborgs protect cyborgs, no matter what.

Despite his attitude, he still gets some props.

"Hit always feels great winning immunity, especially on your first time." Zelda says, trying to relate.

"There will be many more to come."

While she's calm in the moment, Zelda knows there is a tough task ahead of her.

Zelda: Trust matters now more than ever in a vote like this. I don't want to be picked off after Metal's departure, but the people over there aren't the best allies either. It's tough being in the middle, especially in a situation like this.

The tension between the women still seems to be there, since not much ground has been made. Ripley, knowing she'll be in danger soon, takes initiate and gets Peach to the shore.

How to even begin?

"I'm sorry for doing you wrong. Is there any way we can put this behind us?" Ripley asks.

Peach bites her lip. "..your betrayal proved that you aren't to be trusted. We needed you at a crucial time and you abandoned us."

"I made a dirty move. That's what I thought was best at the time. Now I see that wasn't the case. I'll do whatever it takes to work with you again, because Shane's even more of a lunatic than I was." Ripley admits. "He has his core. We're dead last."

Peach squints at her. "You need more than logic to win me over…"

"Shane tried out the 'Buddy System.' He's much more controlling than I am."

The princess exhales. "Mac's over there. Mei's over there. Blu too, like girl: those are the loyal type. We all want a loyal type."

"I can be the loyal type, I just want to see where your head's at."

The princess shakes hers. "My head's not for you."

Ripley closes her lips and nods. "I see this isn't going anywhere…let me know if you change your mind." She ups and leaves, the Princess alone with her thoughts.

But how does Ripley feel?

Ripley: We aren't clicking. She's not receptive, and if Zelda can't put in the work, I'm done.

B-Roll of Ripley whispering to Zelda plays.

Ripley: I never thought Zelda would be the voice of reason, MY mistake screwed her over first..but we know what has to be done. I still like Peach but she needs to let this go. It's not just ME getting picked off.

After that talk, Zelda joins Peach on the shore. "How'd it go?"

"Ugh.." Peach rubs her eyes. "We didn't make up."

Zelda takes a seat. "I'd hate you pressure you about this.."

"No. You should definitely worry for yourself in these times. It's just…am I supposed to sit here and let Ripley betray us again? I don't know how you're so forgiving." Peach confesses. "This isn't just about alliances, or numbers, or any of that."

Zelda chooses to stay silent.

"Is it wrong if we just save Shane?" Peach asks, and that right there clashes with what her ally wants. Does she care though?

"Do you want me to be honest?"

"Always."

Zelda frowns. "Don't think we should. You know we'd just be sitting ducks right?"

Peach lays down on the sand. "Ugh.."

"I know."

While the princesses talk it out together, Shane's watching in the distance like a creepy man. The hells he doing here?

Confessional time.

Shane: Got here right where I want her. Ripley coulda' done well, but she chose the wrong people. When you go to work with the two most twisted players to ever make it on, that's says a lot more about you than the game does.

He takes his findings right to Mac, his right hand man.

"She's in turmoil. We got this."

Mac winces. "Don't jinx it."

"I'm not. You think she'll actually forgive Ripley? Please."

All Mac's eyes do is tell Shane to 'STOP.'

Mac: I feel for her. I'd be a hot mess if I was in her spot too. But she'll do what's best for her..which I hope is best for me :)

Before Tribal, everyone's nabbing their torches for the nights festivities.

Knowing who's in trouble, it won't be an easy night.

First, Metal…

Metal: I placed fourth. Now these players want me executed fourth. Smartest move they can make. If they don't, it will be the biggest regret they have when this is done.

Then, Shane…

Shane: I've been waitin' a year to get him back. Its gonna be a dogfight.

Two players who leave it all out, will find any way to escape their fate. Who will escape yet again? Who will fall fourth?

Find out tonight.

Loabi's Tribal Council

Night 8

The nine enter the Tribal Council Area, and go right for the firepit. Jeff's right there.

"Light your torches in the fire. In this game, fire represents your life. When it's out, so are you."

Loabi gets the blaze on and sets those torches in their holes. They take a seat on those stumps, prepping for the heat some will bring tonight.

Two people leave tonight.

Who will be the first?

Let's find out.

"Alright." Jeff opens, slapping his thighs. "Another night, another Tribal."

"Wasn't any normal night." Gordon's coming out hot. Uh oh.

"What do you mean?"

The Chef points RIGHT at Kano. "THIS bellend thought it was a good idea to wreck the camp. We knew he was a mess but HOLY SHIT."

Dark Samus snickers. "I'm jealous…"

That snicker just makes the Chef focus on her. "She thinks she's a badass for joining him, but she ended up dicking herself over. You may get away with that in life, but you're not doing that bullshit when I'M here."

"So patriotic." Dark Samus quips, not helping herself.

"Stop.." Li mutters to herself, already tired of the face.

Jeff leans forward, ready to instigate. "So how far did they really go?"

"They tore down the shelter." Li starts. "Put out the fire, and weren't ashamed at all. It was unnecessary! They could have integrated if they ACTUALLY tried. But they gave up. It costs nothing to

Kano squints. "It costs nothing to be a dick either. Who the hell do you think you're dealing with? The Care Bears? We don't play nice around here."

Li shakes her head. "You see your downfall and choose not to stop it. What a shame. You could win if your attitude wasn't rotten."

"Don't care about winning. Just getting by another day. I'm a Black Dragon, I've been dead on arrival."

"So you say."

Li and Kano leave the Council in silence.

So Jeff decides to step back in. He's got all he needs to know what's going on. "Is tonight set in stone? We vote Kano and move on?"

"It seems so." Cyrax answers. "No answer we can give can refute your suspicion."

"What did you just say?"

"No response can change your mind." Cyrax clarifies.

Jeff nods. "Can't wait for you to confuse more people."

"Happens every day."

Jeff moves the focus off him. "I could talk about your speech all day, but the vote matters more. Guess what time it is?"

"Voting."

"It is time to vote. Kano you're up first. Troublemaker."

The Black Dragon chuckles at his comment and heads to the booth. "Not the worst name I've been called."

Kano: They'll keep coming till your out. Two more to the count. (Cyrax)

Dark Samus: Go. Away. (Cyrax)

Cyrax: Splits saved my life in the game last time. Elder gods..I know we don't get along. But come through. (?)

After everyone votes, they they get seated. That's Jeff's signal to fetch the urn. "I'll tally the votes…"

While he goes after that urn, Kano turns to Dark Samus. "Pray for me."

"No."

"So you're cold at the start."

"Yes."

Jeff brings the urn back, placing it on the podium. "If anyone has a hidden immunity idol or advantage, and want to play it, now would be the time to do so.."

Everyone looks at Kano…

He can't even contain his smile.

"..play it already." Dark Samus says with a low voice. She's not even looking at him. As he pulls out the idol, he pats the hybrid on her shoulder. "Nothin' personal."

She swipes his hand off, rejecting his "kindness" in front of everyone. Kano just puts out a fake chuckle, walking up to Jeff with a grimace on his face.

"Letting her go."

He hands Jeff the idol and takes a seat. Gordon eyes the idol. "Where the hell do you keep finding these?"

"It's confidential."

"Fuck off."

"You fuck off."

Jeff raises the idol for all to see. "This..IS a hidden immunity idol. Any votes cast for Kano will not count."

Dark Samus crosses her arms. "Should've known…"

"Yeah." Kano says, blunter than force trauma.

Cyrax and Li exchange a look. "Idol flushed." The cyborg whispers, putting a smile on Li's face. Not only did is Kano disarmed, but she may not have to take Dark Samus much longer.

Jeff removes the urn's lid. "I'll read the votes…" he pulls out the parchment and orders it up all nice. Kano's safe, but just how many votes went on him?

"First vote…"

.

.

.

"Kano. Will not count."

.

.

"Kano. Will not count."

.

.

"Kano. Will not count."

.

.

"Kano. Will not count."

Oof, four. What about the rest?

.

.

"Dark Samus."

.

.

"Cyrax. That's one vote Cyrax, one vote Dark Samus, five votes left."

The hybrid's huffing and puffing. The cyborg couldn't look more relaxed If he tried.

.

.

"Dark Samus."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Dark Samus."

.

.

"Cyrax. That's two votes Cyrax, two votes Dark Samus, ONE vote left…"

.

.

.

.

"Third person voted out of Survivor: Second Chance…"

Cyrax looks at Slade, who's facing Jeff. Did he actually flip NOW?

.

.

.

"Dark Samus."

She grabs her torch and walks past Kano. She has no words as she sets her torch down infront of Jeff.

"For the first time..Dark Samus.."

"…"

"The tribe has spoken."

SNUFF

"Time for you to go."

The former finalist just walks out. No spiteful words, no last goodbyes, nothing for this cast to chew on. She ran alll the way before, but they clipped her early.

Maybe this will be seen as good. Then again..Kano's still here. Somehow.

Once she's crossed the bridge, Jeff turns to the eight Loabi left. "There are ways to screw yourself over in this game. That's number one. Grab your torches, head back to camp. Good night."

The tribe grabs their torches and leaves the area. They've been cut to eight, but in a few moments, Hathuru will too…

Dark Samus' Final Words

Dark Samus: We could have used the idol well but leave it to Kano to be the greediest one here. His only ally left is Slade and even THEN they both know they'll clash later on. It's in their nature. He might as well quit to spare himself the embarrassment. Terrible player. Horrible. Disasterious.

Hathuru's Tribal Council

Night 8

The nine Hathuru enter the Tribal Council Area, and go right for the firepit much like the last group. Jeff's right there.

"Dip your torches into the fire. In this game, fire represents your life. When it's out, so are you."

The group brings an inferno on top, and sets those torches in their holes. They take a seat on those stumps, and it's no secret what's about to happen. At least to the cast themselves.

Jeff takes a seat…and sees Shane and Metal just glancing at each other. The glances turn into stares, and it clicks with him.

"Alright..normally I'd do my song and dance, welcome you to Tribal, but it seems a couple of you have your own plays." Jeff points out.

Metal stares into Shane's eyes. "Shall we begin?" That gets Shane to tilt his head. "You lookin' for a fight?"

"We know how this is going to end. Let's say our piece and get it over with."

Jeff smiles. "If this anything like last time..this should be good."

Shane cracks his neck. "I got a big piece for ya. Why the hell should anyone keep you here? You get room to breathe, you suck up the air and blow it back at everyone. How's Qwark doin'?"

"Ooooo.." Mac mutters.

The robot rotates his metal wrist. "You get room to breathe, you enslave our oxygen and control us. Your buddy system always gets brought up for a reason. You've showed how you want to play, and nobody likes being told what to do."

"I keep my people around, if they show me the same loyalty." Shane explains. "I wanted Saolo to say strong. YOU caused it to blow up with your special plan! Don't barge in saying I'm the bigger evil, that's bullshit."

Blu covers her mouth. "What the?"

Metal isn't shocked, he just shakes his clunky head. "The group would have imploded regardless. One disagreement and you would have taken it by the horns."

"Scared money don't make money!"

"Being brave with it comes back to bite you." Metal snaps back. "You like to lead, but this isn't the early millennium. Everyone has their own agenda and if you don't fit, they'll scrub you off. This is that time."

"Really huh? What's on yours? Using everyone like puppets?"

The robot gestures towards Peach and Zelda. "You want these women to be your mindless followers."

Shane jumps up. "It's better than following YOU! Oh it's Sektor, the biggest dickhead in Borneo! Look, it's Ripley, the woman who burned an idol! They've gotta be insane to save you!"

"Lok." Metal points at Mac and Mei. "It's two people who won't break up." That finger goes to Blu. "Look. It's a notorious flipper who sticks to leaders. THREE of you share the same season. You four aren't breaking up so when the time comes, guess who's getting shot down first?" He gestures to Peach and Zelda. "Do you expect them to take it?"

"Do you?" Sektor adds.

"Oh haha, I see how it is." Shane points a finger at Metal and Sektor. "You love your robots, Mets, you aren't breaking up." He points to Ripley. "YOU done burnt Peach's idol already, you're already toast."

The Alien Protag clears her throat. "I've already apologized for what I've done. It may not get them with me, but I tried to change. Did you apologize to Diana?"

"On the other team?"

"No, did you apologize to Michonne? What about Erin?" Ripley asks, grilling Shane about the warpath he's on. "We can't hide who we are, but you're doing a damn good job trying."

"Hypocrite!" Sektor adds, piling onto Shane.

Shane bites his tongue. "Did Snake ever apologize?"

"He's not here, it's me and you."

Zelda leans towards Peach. It's unknown what she just said, but maybe it'll change the Mushroom Kingdom's mind.

Jeff spots them! "Zelda, i see you. Why the whispering?"

"It's no secret that Peach and myself don't have a powerful alliance. We have to pick a side, and while Nefarious was easy, the pressure is on. So I had to speak with her." The Hyrulian explains.

"Peach, let's get onto YOU." Jeff responds.

"Oh dear.."

"You usually come in, attentive, ready to go. You haven't looked at me ONCE this whole time. Does the decision crush you that much? Or are you just having a bad day?" Jeff interrogates.

"Um…" She quickly glances at Ripley. "I've had conversations that left me..uncertain. I'm praying to the star spirits that I've made a good decision tonight. That's all…"

"It sounds like that's definitely NOT all. Do you think this decision could make or break your game?" Jeff asks, drilling further.

Peach just waves herself like a fan. "It's more complex than I want it to be. My heart says Shane, but my head says Metal."

Jeff nods. "Uncertainty coming out tonight. Mac, do you think this is good?"

"No." Mac admits. "We all want our ducks in a row, but if we don't, a lot of people are going to be upset."

"Mei, how do you feel about that."

"It resonates." She answers. "I've had my fair share of uncertain tribals. The last one ended Mac." She gestures towards him. "Even happened to me."

That blue Yoshi's still looking around, and Jeff can sense the emotion. "Blu, you look like you've just seen a brawl you can't look away from."

"I've fought before but…someone got gagged and it's not me."

"It's Shane." Sektor says, but that's the straw that broke the Walsh's back.

"You gonna keep riding someone else, or come at me yourself!" Shane exclaims. "You wanna act like a hypeman, I'm promoting you to main character. Didn't you abuse Cyrax?"

"ABUSE? You must be joking. His new way of life is one you should be laughing at."

"You refused to accept HIS way of playing, and almost blew his whole game up! HOW are you better than me?" Shane asks. "You got a deceitful, lying bastard, a deceitful, forceful bastard, and a deceitful, calculated bastard. You wanna work with THEM over us? I rest my case."

Some may say, Shane's closed his case strong. All eyes fall on Sektor now.

"Sektor? Anything?" Jeff asks.

"His hypocrisy will prove him wrong."

Jeff smiles at the dramatic remark. "I respect the hustle two of you've shown me, and the honesty a couple others have..but the time for talk is over. It is time to vote. Shane, you're up first."

The bald man gets up and looks at Metal. "I got somethin' just for you."

When he heads into the booth…

Shane: METAL! Time's up. (Metal)

The robot shakes his head when Shane gets back. He heads into the booth.

Metal: Your biggest flaw is being too obvious. You've made your core. Watch as I take it down. (Shane)

After the voting ends, they they get seated. That's Jeff's signal to fetch the urn. "I'll tally the votes…"

While he goes after that urn, Shane turns to Metal. "Round two."

"It will end the same."

"Let me tell you somethin', man." Shane rubs his scalp. "We got you."

"Must you always rub your scalp?"

Shane looks at his hand. "Man, shut up."

Jeff brings the urn back, placing it on the podium. "If anyone has a hidden immunity idol or advantage, and want to play it, now would be the time to do so.."

Everyone takes a look around. One idol could wreck either plan on the table..

Nobody gets up. Metal's looking to hold his.

"I'll read the votes…" Jeff says, removing the lid and pulling parchment out yet again. He orders it up. "First vote…"

"Metal Sonic. That's four votes Metal, four votes Shane. ONE VOTE LEFT."

Peach runs her hands up her face, knowing what choice she made. Those on the line don't, and it won't be savory.

Who's going home?

.

.

"Fourth person voted out of Survivor: Second Chance…"

.

.

.

"SHANE."

"What?" Mac asks.

"Wow…" Mei mutters.

Blu's jaw is dropped. "But…but why keep Metal?"

Ripley turns to Peach. Her "thank you" falls on deaf ears. Peach isn't even looking her way.

"That's what I'm sayin.." Shane says, grabbing his torch. "Y'all messed up." Metal stays silent, watching his ally turned enemy get to Jeff.

Shane sets that torch down. "Damn.."

"Shane.."

Jeff raises that snuffer.

"The tribe has spoken."

SNUFF

"Time for you to go."

Shane leaves the Tribal Council set, and crosses that bridge. After he does, Jeff turns to the eight Hathuru left over, for some final words.

"Survivor is full of surprises. Always be ready for more. Head back to camp, good night."

With that dismissal, the eight grab their torches and leave the camp. After what Jeff said about "being ready for more," it has a few speculating.

"A swap?" Ripley asks.

"I'd love that." Mac jokes.

With four second chancers out of the game, who will follow? Find out next episode!
