The man was wonder how been living in the city where he and his army try to conquer for the fire nation until he was capture by Dai Li and throw in the prison under the city with no contract from anyone but he was release from prison two years ago.
He was wonder if any of his family members know that he been alive all through those years if the fire nation thinks he is dead. The man named is Lu ten the son of general Iroh known for the dragon of the west and older cousin of Zuko of Azula.
He wonders about how much that he is missing in their life being gone for so long. As Lu ten walk down the road since he has a date tonight with someone that been help him through darkness and get ingredients for dinner.
Then he notices the jasmine dragon has reopened after the shop been closed since the owner of the tea shop and his nephew sudden disappeared before the Ba Se Sing had fallen to the fire nation. That the owner of the tea shop come back after been gone throughout the years after the hundred years war end but nobody knows about what happened to the owner's nephew.
He was shock that he finds out that his cousin Azula along with her friends was cause of the fallen of the city and dying avatar. At the time he was wonder about what happened to his cousin because she used to be sweet and wonder if the cause of her behavior by her father because he remembers that there was favorite where Zuko was with his mother and Azula have the attention from her father.
Lu ten decide to check out the tea shop since people is talking about the best tea in the earth kingdom. When he walks in the shop that when straight away, he recognizes his father to look lot older now and wonder what he doing here that what happened to him.
So, he decides to walk back out the shop so his father or cousin who he don't know where Zuko is that he is afraid what their reaction of find out their lost love is actually alive not dead with be gone from them so long.
He starts seen someone that he is currently dating of the same gender a boy named Lin who understand after a while that he was part of the fire nation before they start dating. He heard about the new fire nation leader reverse the law that been put on by leader Sozin and there was a rumor going around that the fire nation leader falls in love with one of Avatar's companions.
