Day 15

Blu, Chun-Li, Cyrax, Diana, Gordon, Li Mei, Little Mac, and Sackboy

Gordon takes his beef with a literal dinosaur, and brings it to the table of Mac and Mei. Safe to say, they are jarred just hearing about the events. Mac breaks the silence. "..seriously?"

"SHE had a problem." Gordon deflects. "She made the quiz, and then got mad at me because I hate her, and secretly want revenge over drama that happened a year ago. She's got it out for me, and you too."

Mac's triple takes. "Come again?"

"She blames you for Monty's elimination."

"Well she's right about that."

"Mac.." Mei says, giving him a stern look. "You're in danger too. We need to secure Diana, and stick as a four until this blows over."

Macs face drops at the thought of a 4v4. "Oh…"

Mei sets a hand on his hard shoulder. "Don't worry. You only have a one in six chance of meeting the same fate."

"Hehe..he.." Mac shakes his head, not looking forward to another draw. "Why did she have to flip out?"

Mac: When I'm in the ring, I have control over what happens. I can duck, weave, strike, and do whatever it takes to keep my titles. Rock draws are all luck, I don't got control anymore. That's a BIG pot for a small-time athlete like me, and losing it because of something I kick around at the creek, not once but TWICE? Don't sign me up.

When Gordon leaves to cool off, Little Mac chuckles at the whole thing. "Is it just me or are they more emotional?"

"They've always had their emotions. Blu bottled hers up, and it's going to destroy her…" Mei pauses. "In the game. I wish the best for her outside of it."

Mac snickers. "You acted like she was going to die."

"I hope not."

Li Mei: This is a ridiculous reason for a conflict. If they just sat down and talked it out over Fiji, then they wouldn't be so..petty at one another. I've never been more grateful to act as the "boring" one. It relieves me of stressors like this.

Immunity Challenge

Day 16

"Come on in!"

The full pack of Loabi enter the challenge area, ready for another immunity win. Little do they know, one win today may not save them tomorrow. Before Jeff reveals anything, he greets them. "Welcome back, Loabi. Looking as fine as ever. Alright, before we begin, get a good look at the Hathuru tribe.."

The six Hathuru enter, looking ahead.

"Kano was voted out at the last Tribal Council."

Blu smiles at that, not even hiding her hate for him. "Yay!" Her joy gets her tribe to laugh. After everything Kano did to most of them, they didn't have much sympathy for him.

Blu: Yesterday, I was crying tears of pain. Now I'm crying tears of joy! Take that you bully!

Hathuru, led by a confident T'Challa (no suit), comes to a stop. "Hathuru, how are we doing?"

"I would say morale got better." Peach answers, hiding a laugh. "But there were still some shenanigans."

"Like?"

Sektor steps forward. "I engaged in combat with the Black Panther. I fought my hardest, but he used this secret power to defeat me. I have yet to find out what that is."

T'Challa sets a hand on his heart. "You will not like the answer." His response gets some laughs from his own tribe.

T'Challa: He is not coping well with his loss.

With one little clap, Jeff brings them back on topic. "Alright. Fun and games aside, it's time for todays immunity challenge. For today's challenge, you'll paddle your boat in from the ocean, collecting a key along the way. Once you reach the shore, you'll use that key to unlock six rings. Each player is responsible for throwing those rings up, and off that pole. Once you have all four rings, you'll dig under a long, and race to toss those six rings BACK onto another pole."

Welcome back, "Wear My Ring" from Survivor: 46.

"First tribe to finish wins immunity, safe from tonight's Tribal Council."

Where's the catch?

"One more thing.." Jeff starts. "We won't just be having an early Tribal tonight. Tomorrow, there will be another immunity challenge, and ANOTHER Tribal Council. Two of you will be gone after tomorrow ends."

Gordon shakes his head. "You love pulling the rug from under us."

"Get ready for more of that."

Peach: My..Jeff is infatuated with pressure this season. That's the second time we're going through quick eliminations, and we haven't even merged. When fourteen sinks to twelve, what else is he going to do to us?

With a smile, Jeff sets his focus on Loabi. "Loabi, you have to sit two out."

Blu raises her hand. "I'm one."

Cyrax steps forward. "I am two."

"Alright, head to the sit out bench." Jeff orders, as they head over. It doesn't come without mockery though.

"Go figure the humans quits." Sektor says, taking a snide shot at the cyborg.

"These humans have been beating your tribe down." Cyrax says, getting some "oooo's" from his team. "Win this one and maybe I will admit defeat."

Sektor scoffs at his "impotence." "So be it, Turncoat."

Cyrax: He needs to get over it already.

Most would agree.

Jeff takes control back. "Alright. I'll give you a moment to prepare, and we'll get started."

Sitting Out: Blu and Cyrax

After preparations, the batches of six are in their boats, sitting on the blue. Mostly everyone has their paddles gripped tight. Sackboy's trying to keep his small hands around it. "This is hard.."

"I can help." Li volunteers, putting a smile on his face.

Chun-Li: It's a shame production hasn't accommodated for him in this challenge.

Jeff doesn't give one thing about accommodations. He's ready to get the challenge going. "Here we go, for immunity. Survivors ready?"

.

.

.

"GO!"

The tribes paddle, with Loabi specifically out of sync. T'Challa's calling the pattern for Hathuru, taking up that leader role in a heartbeat. It doesn't take long for them to reach their key. As for Loabi, they aren't that far behind. Being basically behind on one teammate doesn't help things.

Sektor snags the key, and they keep on paddling, no matter how piss poor the waves can be.

Sektor: The Panther may be calling the shots, but I'm acting! He hasn't wounded my pride, but I will wound his.

Diana grabs Loabi's key, as they try to play catch up. Sure enough, Hathuru reaches the shore first. T'Challa sprints ahead and tosses his ring out first try! He's like a ball of energy!

"Hathuru's off to a fantastic start! Rare for me to say!" Jeff shouts.

Metal goes next. The first try almost works, but the second does! Sektor steps up next, and glances at T'Challa. Succeeds!

"How was that for a toss, human?"

T'Challa laughs at his display. "You are overconfident."

"Same tales, Panther."

T'Challa: If Dante had a superiority complex, THIS would be the result.

Slade takes a few tries to throw his ring up. Ripley and Peach are left to go. Loabi's finally hit the shore though, and they are charging their rings with a fury.

"Loabi's up and at it!" Jeff shouts.

Li, Mei, and Mac don't take long to succeed. Gordon takes a few tries though, and glances at Cyrax. "Why'd you sit out?"

"Even *I* need my breaks."

Gordon snickers. "Bloody hell."

"Focus, Gordon." Cyrax advises.

"Trying, mate."

Li Mei shakes her head at it all. She faces Mac. "Their petty banter won't win us the necklace."

"At least it's some entertainment."

She facepalms.

Cut to Cyrax's confessional.

Cyrax: I cannot believe Gordon is as rational as he is. I was ready for him to scream at me "GET. OUT. GET. OUT."

After a few tries, Ripley gets her ring over on Hathuru's end, leaving Peach left. The princess struggles for a bit, so Ripley decides to offer a verbal hand. "You've faced worse than this, keep it up girl."

"Don't back down, Princess!" T'Challa encourages.

"MAKE THEM PAY FOR LOOKING DOWN ON YOU!" Metal shouts.

After that overboard encouragement, Peach finally tosses her ring off the pole! It's digging time, and T'Challa tosses orders around. "Metal Sonic, we can use our speed to dig everyone an easy path."

"…"

"Are you ok with that?"

"..affirmative." Metal says, actually taking orders from someone else.

Metal Sonic: It's a burden on my pride to follow someone's orders. T'Challa is a much lesser evil than Ivo Robotnik ever was, so it did not take long for me to follow them. This will be the only time.

While the Panther and Copy dig, Loabi's got five rings down. Sackboy has a close call, but the ring slides right back down.

"Don't give up, Sackboy." Li encourages. "Size does not matter."

"Yes it does.." Gordon mutters.

Sackboy has ANOTHER close call, and wipes away a literal bead of sweat. Kids feeling loads of pressure to perform. After a couple more tries, he makes one more toss..and the ring flies over. Surprise. Sackboy almost falls to his knees, but Li has to help him up. "It's ok, we can do this."

Chun-Li: Our season could not prepare him for the pressure of a challenge like this. This really is like his first time going this far, and I'll gladly guide him through it.

Loabi starts their digging, but half of Hathuru are already through, thanks to T'Challa's strategy. That second ring toss is only getting closer. Diana tries to copy him, using her power to straight up toss sand clumps aside, but she doesn't have a speedy partner.

"Don't look at their side, focus on us." She says, doing her job. Sackboy's able to squirm on through.

"We're closing that gap! Maybe Hathuru can actually keep the lead." Jeff's found his new favorite hobby. "No jokes, just business."

Ripley's the last to get through for Hathuru!

"Hathuru, good to go!"

Those six move onto the final section. T'Challa goes to toss his ring, but Sektor does too! Their rings collide, causing them both to fall.

"I was going to get it first."

T'Challa brushes his defense off. "Do not interfere with my throws again." He picks his ring back up. After Sektor lands his toss, T'Challa does the same. As Metal and Ripley walk up to toss their rings, the Alien protagonist can't help but comment on it.

"Your friend needs to cool it."

"I'VE TRIED."

Metal gets a successful toss! Ripley misses her first throw, and even the second. She scores her third!"

"Hathuru has four rings wrapped, but Loabi's not out of it yet!"

While Ripley was fumbling the ring, Diana and Li Mei threw their rings on successfully. Chun-Li steps up next, while Slade does for Hathuru. Both of them fail their first couple throws, but get the third!

"That's five for Hathuru, and three for Loabi! We're in crucial times!"

Peach is the last one left for Hathuru. Mac decides to speed this up. His ring lands first try, and he does a nice little jump after it. Gordon walks past him, and takes a shot. He AND Peach fail!

"F*ck."

Another toss corrects his mistake.

"Loabi's got five!"

Peach just can't stick the landing. Sackboy looks to take advantage with a toss for the ages…

It fails.

"Sackboy misses, and we're back to even ground!"

Peach tosses her ring up. It swivels around the rim..and falls again. Sackboy's ring looks like it's hit the spot, but collapses again! It rolls towards him.

"ONE TOSS can end someone's game!" Jeff shouts, pressuring them even harder.

.

.

.

Peach lands her ring first!

"HATHURU WINS IMMUNITY!"

The princess sets a hand on her heart, breathing in relief. "Oh goodness..I've never felt that pressure in quite some time."

"At least we made it out winners." Sektor adds. Not exactly words of comfort, but hey, wins a win.

Sackboy looks dejected, but Gordon ruffles his head. "It'll be ok, sack. You had guts throwing that high."

"Yeah…"

The two tribes gather again, for Jeff's closing ceremony. "Congratulations, Hathuru. You're safe from tonight's Tribal Council, and have a free pass to the top thirteen. Don't get in over your heads tomorrow, BUT enjoy tonight. You're dismissed."

The six winners leave, forcing Jeff to look at the losers.

"Loabi. Date with me tonight at Tribal Council. Choose your strategies carefully, because it could backfire like THAT. Head back to camp, I'll see you there." With Jeff's dismissal, the pack of eight make that journey alll the way back. Emotions are running, and maybe at the worst time. The numbers are getting really tight.

Chun-Li: After we cheer Sackboy up, we need to work on Blu. Even though Sackboy's mainly helped pull her over, we need to seal the deal. There could be a tiebreaker tonight, and I don't know if she will take the risk.

NuLoabi

The eight pack arrive at camp. "Not the end of the world." Diana comments. "We'll win tomorrow."

"Let's hope." Gordon adds.

Sackboy isn't feeling so optimistic after his performance. It's because of him that his tribe lost some precious time.

Sackboy: I couldn't win. My size just kept holding me down. What's going to happen to me if I keep holding us down?

The sack walks away from the group, going on a little walk. Li and Cyrax can pick up on that immediately, and follow him. Rare to see a good kid sad like that.

"You can talk to us." Li reminds him. Sackboy gets seated and wipes a white string away.

"It was my fault.."

"Everyone makes mistakes." Li says. "We can't change what happened. We can only move on. I wanted to change OUR tribes fate so many times, and kept blaming myself for poor leadership. I would never have won the other challenges, if I kept beating myself down."

"..really?"

"She is right." Cyrax adds. "It does not matter the standard that you perform. What matters is if the tribe likes you."

"But I screwed up." Sackboy confesses. "I did really bad.."

"The tribe still likes you. There have been performers far worse than you, who have made it far. You will be fine, Sackboy." Cyrax lays it in. "One bad day hasn't stopped you from fighting on."

Sackboy picks a few strings off his eyes. "Thanks…"

Gordon walks in late, a look of concern on his face too. "You alright, Sack?"

"Yeah..yeah..I'm fine. Just got in my head."

"Hope your fine. Will you three be on-time for the chicken, or do I need to makeleftovers?" Gordon asks.

"Give us a second." Li requests.

"Right." Gordon heads out, leaving them to their session.

Gordon: I hate to see the boy cry. I might feel an ounce of guilt for what goes down tonight.

Sack's not the only one who's a little down. Blu's away too, pacing around alone. "I can't believe him. I just can't…"

Cyrax walks in from behind. "Greetings."

"Is something wrong?"

"I heard about your argument with Ramsay." There it is. "He was acting irrational, shouting at you like that. It seems his temper is still there."

Blu sighs in relief. "Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. Finally, someone who doesn't laugh at the whole quiz thing! I thought was going crazy.."

"You are not crazy. Gordon doesn't understand how you play. He doesn't seem like someone you should keep around…after me, he will surely come for you." Cyrax notes to her.

"..do you want me to vote him out? Because I will! It's still him..right?" She asks.

"If you're willing to risk it."

"People like you make me feel at home. You don't yell at me like he did."

Cyrax nods. "A fifty percent chance it is."

Blu grabs him by the legs. "PLEASE WIN! I don't think can lose one of you and stay happy. Gordon's gonna get all cocky about it and—UGH."

"Worry not. I am formidable."

Cyrax: Appealing to her emotions took no time at all. I do care what she has to say, but this emotional manipulation makes me feel rusty. Unfortunately that's normalized in these games. Gordon has done the same in my position, so I cannot let him think steps ahead. I must always be upfront when it comes to him.

What about Blu?

Blu: I've never been more up for anything! Haha! That'll show you, Gordon! This one's for Monty!

Her nights far from over. As she walks back into camp..GORDON approaches her. He's not mad, or disappointed. He actually looks quite apologetic..

"Hey Blu. Got a minute?"

"Sure."

"I was improper yesterday." An apology?

"Uh huh."

"I should have taken it better."

"Yeah."

Gordon clicks his tongue. "Whether you want to accept it or not, I'm sorry. You won't hear he shout again."

"Ok."

Gordon walks away, without a word. He exhales from the nose, frustrated at the coldness he's getting.

Gordon: If she tries spinning me as the bad guy, I'm putting her on blast. I apologized, and she didn't want to hear it. THAT'S the tea. It tastes quite sour.

And Blu?

Blu: He's WAY too late! My minds made up. If he doesn't lose tonight: I might cry.

Tribal Council: Night 16

The eight Loabi enter the Tribal Council Area, and go right for the firepit. Jeff awaits them with hands behind his back. "Dip your torches into the fire. In this game, fire represents your life. When it's out, so are you."

The eight light their torches and get seated. Jeff slaps his knees. "Alright. Usually Hathuru brings me the most trouble, but let's hear what you have."

"I'll start." Blu opens. "Someone's been really mean as of late, and it's concerning the tribe."

"Who?"

Gordon sighs. "I'm Someone."

"Now..I know you can have a temper over sometimes. But what happened?" Jeff asks.

"Blu thought it'd be fun to hold a quiz. It was me against Sackboy. She asked a super specific question, that she never brought up around me." Gordon recalls. "Think she rigged it for Sackboy. Those two have a lot in common. So I called her on it, and apologized right before Tribal."

Blu shakes her head. "You didn't really mean that."

"I don't apologize for no reason, mate."

"You've still got a grudge. Just like Sonic.."

Gordon looks baffled. "I've worked with the hedgehog to get ahead. You want to see me hold a grudge, bring Kano back."

Jeff wants another perspective. "Cyrax, this drama is something players can take advantage of. Is that in the books for Loabi?"

"..no." Cyrax shuts that down. "Gordon is a man who's headstrong with his ideas. Blu may not be happy with him, but I know there is a target on MY back as well. My names been written down at every Tribal I have attended. This won't blind me."

"Chun-Li, how do you feel about this drama?"

"I think they need to put it in the past. The merge is coming soon, and this grudge will drag both their games down." Li spills. "It sounds like Gordon reached out, and Blu declined. She has the right to feel how she does."

Jeff slaps his knees again. "Well, I think I got a read on what's really going on. Blu and Gordon got into a fight, but everyone's more concerned about the Cyrax's of the game."

Nobody objects.

"I'll take that as correct. We'll see which one of you moves onto thirteen, because it is time to vote. Gordon, you're up first."

The Chef heads to the booth, muttering profanities to himself.

Gordon: I'm ready for the tie. Bring it on, ya rusty piece of metal. Much love. (Cyrax)

Cyrax: You have too many people by your side. Three on Loabi, and who knows of yours that were swapped. I must eliminate you, not just for me, but for everyone's chance in this game. (Gordon)

Blu: You shouldn't have yelled at me. You know what happens to the people who do. (Gordon)

After voting is finalized, they get seated. That's Jeff's signal to fetch the urn. "I'll tally the votes…"

As he heads for the booth, Cyrax remains stoic, while Gordon looks agitated at this whole situation. One of them could have an early exit. No finale night for them. Will the cyborg with a heart of gold survive? Will Gordon even see the merge this time? That's in the fate of everyone tonight.

Jeff returns with the urn. "If anyone has a hidden immunity idol, or advantage they'd like to play: Now would be the time to do so."

.

.

Nobody moves.

"Alright. You know the drill. Person with the most votes will be ordered to leave Tribal Council immediately. I'll read the votes.." Jeff removes the lid, and takes the parchment out. After ordering the pieces: IT'S TIME.

"First vote…"

.

.

"Gordon."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Gordon."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Gordon."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Gordon."

The Chef exhales. "Shocked."

"That's four votes Gordon, three votes Cyrax, ONE vote left."

The cyborg glances at the Chef. "So it's come to this."

"Seems 'bout it."

.

,

"Cyrax. We are TIED."

Nobody's really surprised about it, but Blu does look satisfied. Some think she might be getting a little too excited.

"We will revote. Gordon and Cyrax cannot vote, but everyone else will. If you can't come to a decision..it's a deadlock."

Mac sighs. "Here we go.."

Mei pats his shoulder. "You are not the only one."

"Gordon, Cyrax, stay seated. Mac, you're up first."

The boxer heads to the booth yet again. One by one, the six make their final decisions, and get seated. Jeff grabs the urn, and brings it right back to its rightful place on the podium. He removes the lid ahead of time. "Let's hope you've come to a decision."

Mac gulps. Why's he addressing US instead of those two? Blu..what have you done?

"First vote…"

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

Gordon."

.

.

"Cyrax."

.

.

"Gordon."

.

.

"Gordon."

The Chef grabs his bags.

"Cyrax."

Gordon freezes in place, while Cyrax ahead confidently. "It appears we will be facing off."

"No." Jeff says, grabbing a bag all too familiar. This cast has seen seasons past, and know exactly what's to come next. Blu mutters to herself: "no. No no no, it wasn't supposed to be like this."

"I'll have the anxiety she's having." Mac says.

"Since we're deadlocked, we are going to a rock draw. If you draw the white rocks, you're safe. If you draw the purple rock: game over. Gordon and Cyrax are safe from elimination, but the rest of you are NOT. Now Close.."

The six eligible draw their rocks, their fates unknown.

"Open, and reveal."

With their hands out, the castaways finally see their fate. Diana, and the Li's are safe, leaving the reveals from Mac, Mei, and Blu.

.

.

Mei has white. It's just Mac and Blu…

.

.

.

MAC is SAFE! Leaving Blu to stare at her rock. "Awww.." Sackboy looks saddened by the event.

"Blu, you drew the bad rock. You are the seventh person eliminated. Your Second Chance, is over."

The Yoshi grabs her torch, looking straight at the ground. She chose to side with Season Four, and paid the price. Big mistake on her part. A mistake the fans surely won't let her forget.

She got herself eliminated.

"Blu. Your luck has spoken."

SNUFF..

"Time for you to go."

The Yoshi turns to wave goodbye, but looks heartbroken at her decision. As she walks away, the seven Loabi left talk amongst themselves.

"I don't know how to feel about this." Diana admits. "But she did it to herself."

"Aw…" Sackboy frowns. "Why did she have to go like that?"

Once the Yoshi is out of view, Jeff turns back to those left. "She showed us that sometimes, you shouldn't bet on yourself too early. It might come back to bite you. Head back to camp, good night."

The Loabi grab their torches and leave the area. They aren't out of the woods yet..because they'd have to repeat this whole thing the next day. That is, If they can't kill the challenge.

Blu's Final Words

Blu: Wow, that was..um..embarrassing. I don't know how I can tell my family about this. My brothers will hang it on me for the rest of my life. Maybe I should have taken that apology.

Finish: 14th Place

Voting:

Gordon— Cyrax, Chun-Li, Sackboy, and Blu

Cyrax— Gordon, Diana, Little Mac, and Li Mei

Due to the deadlock, Loabi was forced to draw rocks. Since Gordon and Cyrax tied, and the tribe couldn't agree on who goes, both were safe, and the tribe themselves were put at risk. Blu drew the purple rock, eliminating herself at fourteenth place.

Blu was pretty invisible at the start of the season, but ever since she met up with Season Four, she started making some new branches. Unfortunately for her, she had no time to get closer, because of her conflict with Gordon. One rock draw can bend someone's game. Just ask Mac, who also survived his second rock draw. He's probably on cloud nine.

Anyways, Day 17 is coming soon. We'll see the aftermath of Tribal Council, as well as the next cycle in the twist. Who will win immunity? Who's second chance will get crushed next? Find out as this episode continues!
