The next match was the final match of the tournament
ash vs Alain
eri was really excited to see her papa battle
she watched as one by one each pokemon fell until it was ash greninja and mega charizard X
and just as ash greninja was about to go down, eri yelled
"YOU CAN DO IT!"
Ash greninja suddenly got a burst of energy before hitting one more water shuriken causing mega charizard X to go down
ash had won the battle
"ash did it!" Clemont said
"Yay he won!" Bonnie said giving eri a hug
"Papa won!" Eri said
"He did." Serena said happily
Ash fell on his butt
"Way to go greninja." Ash said tuckered out
"Gren." Greninja said equally tuckered out
"ASH KETCHUM IS THE WINNER!!!" The announcer yelled as the crowd went wild
soon it was time for the award ceremony
however, the ground began to shake as giant roots began to crawl into the stadium
"What's going on!?" Serena yelled
just then a root appeared from a wall and was about to crush the group
"NO!!!" Eri yelled as her quirk activated rewinding the root out of existence
"What was that?" Clemont asked
"T-That was M-my cu- quirk." Eri said "It makes things disappear. I-I'm sorry m-mama."
"Hey don't be sorry you saved us!" Serena said "just one question?"
"y-yeah?" Eri asked
"what's a quirk?" Serena asked
"A power that people get around five at least that's what I've been told." Eri said
"what you've been told?" Clemont asked
"I made my old papa disappear by accident and then my old mama gave to grandpa... but the Overhaul made grandpa fall asleep for a really long time... and then he started to take me apart and putting me back together." Eri said on the verge of tears "A few days ago was the first time I've touched grass in years!"
then the water works started
"A-and A-and please don't get rid of me!" Eri said crying her eyes out
"Hey. Listen i will never get rid of you." Serena said "and that's a promise."
"Y-You promise?" Eri asked
"I promise." Serena said "now let's get out of here!"
The group ran off
on the way to safety giratina talked to eri within her head
(Child i wish to help you.) giratina said in her mind
eri looked around for the owner of the voice
(No i am in your head.) giratina said (listen to me. There is something coming up you can't handle.)
"Okay?" Eri said
(i will lend you my power and take over your Body to do things you don't have the guts to abd if you ever want to drag Anyone to the distortion world say the words "the world's mirror, the world of distortion!") giratina said
"Okay!" Eri said
the group continued to run through avoiding roots before reaching ash and alain in front of thr building not covered in roots
"Are you all okay?" Clemont asked
"Yeah, we're doing fine." Ash said
"Ash, Squishy disappeared. It ran off somewhere." Bonnie said
suddenly a voice came on over the speaker
"Giant, mysterious, creeping vines are overrunning the city, and there has been major damage centered around Prism Tower. Avoid that area during evacuation. Again, there has been major damage around Prism Tower."
Then they saw a red light coming from the top of prism tower
"what's that?" Clemont asked
"It's glowing." Ash said
"Could it be...Zygarde?" Alain questioned
"what do you mean?" Serena asked
"Those vines are the work of Zygarde, for sure!" Alain said
then they saw a green light in the distance
"squishy." Bonnie said "squishy is heading over to prism tower!"
"What?!" Are you sure?" Serena asked
"yeam i'm sure of it!" Bonnie said before going to run off while trying to be restrained by clemont
"bonnie wait!" Clemont said
"Go! We'll catch up with you guys a little later." Ash said
"what about you?" Serena asked
"I'm going with Alain to find Mairin." Ash said
"But..." serena said
"I'll be fine!" Ash said
clemont rummage through his pockets before giving everyone something
"what is it?" Ash asked
"It's a communicator. I thought we'd encounter a situation precisely like this one. It's not that powerful but it should come in handy." Clemont said
"Thanks clemont!" Ash said
"be careful okay?" Serena said
"i will." ash said
ash ran off with alain
then within eri's mind giratina took over
she quickly followed ash
"Eri!" Serena said
"I'm sure she will be fin with ash." Clemont said
little did they know she wasn't following ash exactly
In side a lab Xerosic was monitoring progress
when he suddenly heard little footsteps
he turned around and saw a little girl with a horn
"a child? How did they get here?"
Eri's neck bent unnaturally before lunging at Xerosic
the only things you could hear were screams and the sound of flesh being torn apart and put back together
Alain was questioning Lysander's plan they were hurting innocent people and pokemon and now he wanted ash?!
and now he was going to ask Xerosic what he wanted with ash
but when he entered the scientist's lab he wasn't there
suddenly from a high up place something was thrown down in front of alain
it was Xerosic's severed head
the grunt next to him looked like he wanted to vomit and alain was feeling the same
"So... who wants to die first?" Eri (giratina) asked in a sicking sweet way
the grunt with ash quickly ran to fulfil what the scientist had asked him to do prior
eri (giratina) was about lunge at him but then noticedthat zygarde was about to fight
"I better finish this." Eri (giratina) said "but I'll be back for you."
she suddenly teleported away
alain was left with more questions than answers
