Befote the chapter starts:
I know the first chapter was short. I know. It was mostsly Killer's POV due to me wanting to test the waters to see how I can write Killer's character and personality in the story without turning him into a full on OOC. I promise that he will not be the sole focus of the story and we will switch POVs.
"Talking" - "Sanji, I told you I don't like curry udon. Make spagetti instead."
"Attack Name" - "Three Sword Style: Rengoku Rice Balls!"
'Thinking' - 'How do Logia Devil Fruits effect people's clothes if there bodies are what turn into elements?'
SOUND EFFECT - SLICE
Narration - Akainu eventualy was fired due to tax evasion.
"People Talking Outside a Backstory" - "But they were all of them deceived, for another ring was made."

Chapter 2: A Cannon Fires. A Lion Roars.
BOOM
The destructive might enveloped might of the Buggy Pirates. As the blast settled, dust was obscuring the area. Killer doubted that all the Buggy pirates were defeated. He remembered earlier when he was over looking the Buggy base camp that two more infamous members were missing. He also doubted that this would be the last of Buggy either. One does not get a bounty of 15,000,000 beri bounty without being strong.
"Hey, Zoro. You're hurt, you know," Killer heard the straw hat kid behind him say. Killer. Killer turned around to see a bleeding Zoro pick up the cage that held the straw hat kid. Nami looked both shocked and confused.
"Just shut up and stay in there! I'm going to do this my way," yelled Zoro who was struggling to move the cage.
"Who is this guy," asked Nami.
"Luffy," Zoro said talking to the boy in the cage, now known as Luffy, "Who's she?"
"Oh, she's our navigator!" said Luffy, who seemed completely uneffected by what was going on.
"Get serious! Who are you guys," yelled Nami as Zoro continued to struggle with the cage. Killer, now knowing that Buggy has Devil Fruit, decides to help them as he may need their help to take down Buggy. Killer walks tword the cage, causing the other three to fully notice his presence.
"Who are you?! One of Buggy's crew," Nami asked with a hint of fear in her voice. Killer ignored her and lifted the back side of the cage.
"Hey! What are you," Zoro was aboit to ask something, but was interupted by Killer.
"Let's move," said Killer in a calm voice.
"Move. I don't need your," said Zoro, bit was interupted again by Killer.
"Shut up and move, Roronoa," Killer said in a more commanding voice. Zoro took note that the stranger knew who he was but grunted and started to move. Each step Zoro took, blood gushed from his wound.
"Why would you you both go that far? You're pirates," said Nami, thinking Killer was with Luffy's pirate crew. She grew a look of disgust on her face, but continued to walk with them as Zoro and Killer carried the caged Luffy away.
Else where in the dust, smoke, and rubble of the Buggy Pirates base camp, a pirate with a big red nose seething.
"Those four think they can mock me! Screw that! Looks like I can consider this a declaration of war against me," Buggy said threw gritted teath. Buggy then looked to one of his underlings that was still consious. "You there! Who was that guy that attacked me from behind?!"
"I-I d-don't know, Captain Buggy." stuttered the underling who was still not fully recovered from the brast.
"Captain Buggy," scream an underling. This one being one of the three goons that discovered Killer's ship, but was the only one brave enough to warn his captain. "Captain Buggy! Captain!"
"What is it," Buggy demanded.
"Killer," gasped Buggy goon 2 who was out of breath.
"Killer? Your a pirate. You shouldn't be scared of some killer," said Buggy in anouance and anger.
"No, Captain Buggy. Killer the bounty hunter! He's hear," screamed the goon in fear. This caused the underlings who were consious to gasp and mutter amonst themselves.
"Killer! Here?!" screamed Buggy underling 1.
"He's after us now?!" paniced Buggy crew member 4.
"What are we gonna do?!" asked Buggy goon 5.
"Shut up! Captain Buggy is unbeatable!" yelled Buggy lacky 7.
'Killer eh,' Buggy thought. 'He's said to be as good as Roronoa. If we defeat '
STOMP STOMP STOMP
Buggy looked to see a giant lion and a figure riding it. He was a middle aged man with white hair, short pants, and a furry top.
"Mohji! There you are," said Buggy in a calmer tone.
"Captain Buggy." said Mohji too his lion.
"Is Cabaji with you," asked Buggy.
"No, Captain. He's with another group looting the village. They should be back shortly," answered Mohji.
"Very well," said Buggy as he stood up, and looked to his crew. "Everyone, get ready! We will flashily get our revenge on those four who dare make a mockery of us!"
"Yes, Captain Buggy," said all of the Buggy Pirates that were still able to fight.
"Now," Buggy looked back to Buggy goon 2, "I remember sending three of you to get some treasure. So where is it?"
"Uh. Well I...I mean we...um they...he...she did," the goon sputtered.
"Well? Spit it out," Buggy demanded.
"Um, it was...stolen," Buggy goon 2 peeped out, almost sounding like he was asking Buggy.
"IT WAS WHAT," Buggy sreamed at the top of his lungs.
Far away, Zoro and Killer are seen carying the caged Luffy down the street as Nami walks beside them. Zoro eventualy set the front half of the cage down, panting. Killer set the back half soon after.
"Should be far enough away now," said Zoro, who was panting
"But I can't do anything while in this cage," Luffy said angrily.
"There must be a key," said Zoro, who continued to pant.
"Unless it was destroyed in that blast," muttered Killer, causing Luffy to look at him worriedly and Zoro to look at him with anouance. Zoro then grunted and kneeled down.
"Lost too much blood," Zoro said as he started to fall, "Got to... rest." As Zoro laid down, he looked to see a dog right in front of him. Zoro jumped back a bit before moving to rest against a beam of the building they stopped at. "What's with this dog?"
"Dog? Hey, a dog," cheered Luffy. He scooted his cage closer to the dog. It was a small white dog that looked fairly old. "Is it real? It's not moving." Killer looked at the building and noticed the 'Pet Food' sign.
"Maybe it's hungry," suggested Killer.
"Who cares," panted Zoro.
"Maybe it's dead," said Luffy as he poked it's eyes. The dog the bit Luffy and growled.
"Oww! Oww! Oww! Oww! Dumb dog! Lemme go! Lemme go," Luffy yelled as he tried to fight off the dog.
"Luffy, stop messing around," yelled Zoro before falling to the ground.
"Look you three, not to criticize but is the middle of the street really the best hiding place you could come up with," asked Nami. Killer mostly agree. Sure they had gotten far, but it may be better to hide in a near by building for now. And when did he ever say he was with them.
"Hey! It's our navigator," said Luffy and Zoro.
"I never agreed to that," yelled Nami.
"Wait, I thought you were with them," asked Killer.
"'Them?' Wait you're not with those two," asked Nami.
"Hey, Luffy. Is he with us," Zoro asked his Captain.
"Hmmm," Luffy hummed as he looked at Killer. "Who are you?"
'Best I don't say who I am now. Roronoa definitly will know who I am immediately, and there's no telling if the other two will recognize me,' Killer thought. 'Given Buggy's devil fruit, I'm gonna need their help to get that bounty. Best not to tell them the full truth.' "I'm just a bounty hunter looking to collect on reward on Buggy's head."
"Bounty hunter," Nami said as if asking herself.
"Oh. Okay," said Luffy.
'Just a bounty hunter,' Zoro thought. 'I saw how he moved when he attack Buggy. He's more than just a bounty hunter. He's strong.'
"Anyways, I just wanted to thank you for saving me," said Nami, getting back on track.
"Thank us," asked Luffy.
TINK
Nami tossed down a key infront of Luffy and the dog. Luffy immediately realized what it was for.
"Hey! The key!!! You stole the key to the cage," cheered Luffy.
"Hmph, yeah sure," sighed Nami in a disapointed tone. "I got the stupid key, but I left the map and all the treasure."
"You were trying to steal a pirate crews treasure," ask Killer. That wasn't exactly easy, and most people weren't brave enough to do it. He honsestly respected her a bit for it. Just a bit.
"This is great! I thought I'd never get out of here," cheered Luffy.
"Then the rescue," panted Zoro, "was a success... after all!" Just then the dog picked up the key with it's mouth.
"Hey," said Luffy, trying to hget the dog's attention.
GULP
The dog then ate the key whole. Nami looked shocked. Luffy looked worried. Zoro looked agitated.
"I guess it was hungery," laughed Killer. He was't too worried about Luffy. He did need help, but from what he's seen Luffy doesn't look too strong and Nami definitley wasn't a fighter. If Roronoa was the man he thought he was, then he'll be more than enough help to to deal with most of the Buggy Pirates, even with that injury. Buggy himself would be difficult, but he's sure they'll find a weakness.
"How are you joking about this," demanded Zoro.
"Cough it up," yelled Luffy as he shook the dog. "That's not food! Gimme that key!" As Luffy continued to shake the dog, a new figure entered the seen.
"Darn, whipper-snappers," an old man's voice yelled. "Don't pick on ol' Chou-Chou!" Luffy, Zoro, Killer, and Nami looked to the figure. He was a weak looking old man wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. Over his clothing was some armor that really didn't offer much protection and on his back was a weak looking spear.
"Chou-Chou," asked Luffy.
"Who're you, old man," asked Zoro.
"I'm this town's mayor! Who are you," the mayor demanded. He then noticed Zoro's injury. "My, what a terrible injury! I take it Buggy went after you folks, too?"
"Something like that," replied Killer.
"We need to get you to a doctor," said the mayor.
Back in the ruined Buggy camp, the Buggy Pirates were regrouping as a noticable figure joined their ranks. He was aa tall slender man with a unique hairstyle that covers half of his face. His hair was dark green where it was long and light green where it was short. He wore a large blue and white checkered scarf that covers the lower portion of his face, a sleeveless purple coat reaching down to his knees, white pants larger near the end and held up by a light blue sash, and white shoes. His most promiment features were the sword at his waist and that he was riding a unicycle.
"I, Cabaji, am here, Captain Buggy," said Cabaji. In the burt down ruins of Buggy's camp, Buggy, Cabaji, Mohji, and Mohji's lion Richie stood in a circle.
"Okay. Listen up," said Buggy. "Here is my flashy plan to crush Roronoa, Killer, and their underlings." We will fire three of my flashy Buggy Balls in three random directions. Then the three of us will take some underlings, split up, and go in the three directions and search for those brats. If you don't find them, return back here. If you find treasure, take it. And if you find those brats, crush them. If you don't come back we'll at least know where they are so we can regroup and crush them flashily."
"Great plan, Captain Buggy," Mohji said.
"Flashily planned," said Cabaji.
"Now, load the Boggy Balls," commanded Buggy.
The mayor can can be seen exiting a building. Killer and Nami can be seen waiting outside. Luffy is still in the cage. Chou-Chou was still sitting right in front of the pet food store.
"How's Zoro," asked Luffy.
"He needs a doctor," said the mayor, "but he sid he'd sleep it off and went to bed." Killer, after hearing this, just imagined Zoro sleeping in a bed, snooring like nothing happened. The dog yawned and Luffy started petting it.
"So this dog's name is Chou-Chou," asked Luffy. "What's it just sitting here for?"
"Besides eating the key," muttered Killer under his breath.
"It's guarding this shop," stated the mayor.
"Guarding," asked Nami.
"Yes," answered the mayor.
"Oh! This is a pet food shop," said Nami as she noticed the sign.
"Yes," said the mayor. "This shop's owner is a good friend of mine." The mayor then walked over and placed a bowl full of dog food in front of Chou-Chou. "There you go." The dog started to wat the food. "So I'm here to feed his dog in his place."
"In his place," asked Nami.
"Yes," answered the mayor. "He died three years ago, from an illness." The mayor went inside to place the box of dog food he used to feed the dog back inside the pet food shop and locked the door.
"Don't tell me he's been waiting for his msster to return all this time," asked Nami.
"That's what everyone says," said the mayor, "but I don't think that's it." He then sat down on the front porch of the shop and smoked a pipe as he watched Chou-Chou eat. "Chou-Chou is a smart dog. He's probably long known that his master is long dead." Chou-Chou began licking the crums that were left. Killer stat on top of Luffy's cage as he listened and Nami crouched next to Chou-Chou.
"Then why is he guarding the shop," asked Killer.
"I think because this shop is a treasure in Chou-Chou's eyes," answered the mayor. "I think he continues to protect it because it's a momento of his dog-loving master. I've tried to make him evacuate on many occasions, but he won't take so much as a step from here. Killer couldn't help but respect Chou-Chou's devotion to his late master. Chou-Chou then picked up the bowl with his mouth before handing it to the mayor.
"Hey, old man," asked Killer. "I've been meaning to ask but where is everybody else? This is a ghost town."
"The rest of the villagers and I have moved somewhete outside the village where the pirates don't attack," answered the mayor. The mayor then lated tword the building Zoro was in. "I know your friend said he could just sleep it off but I can't just do that. Help me missy. We can take him to the doctor at my villages camp."
"R-right," said Nami.
KA-BOOM
Just as the Nami and the mayor were about to enter the building to get Zoro, a blast went through the entire town, causing everyone to pause. Left watching at blocks worth of home, buisnesses, and more were destroyed.
"Dam those Buggy Pirates," yelled the mayor in anger. "Destroying the very village we built from the ground up! Our Treasure!"
KA-BOOM
Then a second blast went off is a different direction.
KA-BOOM
Then a third blast went off, with the pet food shop, Chou-Chou, Luffy, and Killer caught in the blast. Nami and the mayor were knocked back by the blast but were relatively unharmed. When the dust setteled they could see and injured Killer laying on the ground on his back, a dizzy Luffy in a damaged cage, and a Chou-Chou too injured to stand, barking and howling with tears in its eyes as he watched what's left of pet food shop buring down. Killer slowy got up as his ears ringed. Luffy shook off his dizziness, noticed his cage was damaged, and then noticided the burning shop.
"They're alive," gasped Nami.
"Chou-Chou," screamed the mayor. He ran to picked Chou-Chou and gentily picked him up. As Chou-Chou watched the burning rubble, he remembered his time with his master.
The good...
"Buisness is awfuly slow," said Chou-Chou's master.
"Ruff," barked Chou-Chou.
"Having a rough time, eh," asked the mayor. "Fine, then I'll buy some pet food to eat."
"Ha! Ha! Ha! You look like a dog, but I didn't know you ate like one, too," laughed Chou-Chou's master. Chou-Chou laughing with him.
The bad...
"Chou-Chou! How many times have I told not to eat the merchandise," Chou-Chou's master yelled angrily.
And the last time he saw him.
"Awright, Chou-Chou. You're in charge of the shop while I'm in the hospital," said Chou-Chou's master as he walked away.
As Chou-Chou and the mayor looked at the buring rubble in sadness, Nami looked at it with disgust.
"Pirates," yelled Nami in disgust. "They're all the same!!! They take away what's most precious and laugh!!!" She then looked at Luffy with anger. "I oughta kill you right now, before you get a crew and pillage some town!"
Then something niether Killer, Nami, or the mayor expected happened. Luffy broke out of the cage and jumped into the burning rubble.
"Hey," Killer yelled at Luffy.
"Stop! You'll die," yelled the mayor. Nami just looked in shock and confusion. Luffy just screamed in pain. Luffy siloette can be seen moved some burning debry around before grabing something and jumping out of the fire.
"Hey," yelled Killer, "what the hell were you thinking?!" Luffy ignored him, walk to the mayor, and handed him something. It was a box of dog food that was partialy burnt.
"That's all I could save for you, boy," Luffy said to Chou-Chou.
'He jumped into that fire for the dog's sake,' thought Nami. Chou-Chou looked at the box, then looked at Luffy and barked as if thanking him.

ROAR
"What's that," asked Nami.
"It's him! Beast Tamer Mohji," yelled the mayor.
"What do you mean beast tamer," asked Nami, but the mayor ignored her. He ran into the building with Zoro in it, taking Chou-Chou and the box of dog food with him. Nami followed suit. Killer could see a giant lion with Mohji riding on top with several underlings with him.
"Hey, Luffy, can you fight," asked Killer.
"Sure can, Big Hair," cheered Luffy.
'Big Hair,' Killer mentaly questioned.
STOMP
"We finaly found you, Killer," said Mohji as he looked down on his lion, Richie.
"Killer," asked Luffy.
"Take on the weaklings. The lion and it's rider are mine," was all Killer said before rushed at Richie, turning on his handguards.
"Cool," yelled Luffy when he saw Killer's handguards activate.
"Deal with the kid. Killer is mine," commanded Mohji. The underlings rushed forward. Anyone that got too close to Killer got cut down, leaving only six left to fight Luffy. "Richie, tear him limb from limb!" Mohji jumped off of Richie as the lion lunged at Killer. Killer dodged and made a swipe at Richie, causing cut on the lion's leg. Richie knocked Killer back with a paw, causing a scratch on his leg. Killer recovers, but before he can attack again, he dodges strike from a whip Mohji is holding. Killer dodges another lunge from Richie by jumping into the air but, Mohji wraps his whip around Killer's leg an slams him into the ground. Killer quickly recovers and retaliates, causing a cut on Richie's side.
"Gomu Gomu no," said Luffy. Killer, Mohji, and Richie brefly looked away to see what the situation was with Luffy and the underlings. What they did,'t expect to see was Luffy's arm stretch several yards behind him. "Pistol!" Luffy's fist is lauched forward and knocks out three Buggy pirates.
"He's a monster," yelled cabin boy 3.
"Shoot him," yelled henchman 4. The three underlings shot Luffy but his body stretched with the bullets.
"That," Luffy said as the bullets ricochet back twords the Buggy Pirates, "doesn't work!" Luffy then kicks two of the Buggy pirates and punches the last one.
"What are you," asked Killer.
"I ate the Gum Gum Fruit. I'm a rubber person," said Luffy.
"Don't forget about me," yelled Mohji. Mohji took his whip and wrapped it around Killer's upper arm. "Get him Richie! Bite his head off!"
"You want a snack? That's fine with me," yelled Killer. As Richie lunged at Killer, Killer used the whip around his arm to pull Mohji into Richie's path, causing Richie to bite on Mohji's head. Mohji screamed in pain as he was bitten. Richie in shock, let go of Mohji and left himself wide open for Killer. "Mauling Talons!" Killer flipped over Richie and slashed the lion's back multible times, knocking out the beast.
"Richie," yelled Mohji. Killer then kicked Mohji in the face, knocking him out. One of the underlings slowly got up to see Mohji defeated. The underling ran away, back to his captain.
"We've returned, Captain Buggy," said Cabaji.
"Did you find them," asked Buggy.
"No, Captain Buggy. No sign of them," Cabaji answered.
"I didn't find them either," said Buggy.
"C-c-captain! Captain! Ca-captain," gasped an underling as he ran twords them. He was visably injured. "Help!"
"What happend to you? Where's Mohji," asked Buggy.
"D-defeated," said the underling.
"Zoro and Killer did this," asked Buggy.
"Not Zoro. S-straw hat," gasped the underling.
"Straw hat kid did this? I can't believe this," said Buggy.
"He's... rub," muttered the underling but passed out before he could finish.
"Cabaji, gather the men. We with crush them for this mockery," ordered Buggy.
TO BE
CONTINUED
This chapter is longer. Yipee! I want to note that if there are words with the last letter underlined, that is a glitch. I'm writting these chapters on my phone with the app. The reason the situation isn't playing out like in cannon is because Killer's here. With one more combatant in the mix, Buggy, other villains, and other people in general, including the Straw Hats, will act and plan differently to situations. I also will have to either make some enemies stronger or add brand new characters for Killer to fight. A story needs to be interesting after all. Plus if I don't Killer an easily help the Straw Hats win their close fights and reduce the time it takes for them to complete important tasks like saving Robin or stealing the road poneglyph copy from Big Mom. I want to keep the Straw Hats journey as difficult as in cannon as they don't get as strong as they do if their journey wasn't as difficult. I will also need to give Killer more named attacks. Beheading Claws, Syther Sonic, and Spin Sonic are the only cannon named attacks I can find. If you know more please let me know. I'm including some of the named attacks from Pirate Warriors 4. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Leave a review if ya feel like it. And you'll see what happens next week.
