Wiley checked his watch he was afraid he didn't have much time and there was no room for any mistakes '' Everyone in position and I want a report of the exact number of guests , locate the chef he has not been answering his phone for two days then make sure we have a pack up in case we lost him '' he said over the phone then hung up then took a deep breath .. this whole thing was new to him and making him a little nervous but he wasn't about to fail on this mission .
'' look at that man , you are born to do this '' said Abbot cheerfully as he arrived in the parking lot of breathe taking hotel with yards of gardens and around and amazing entrance with his wife Lena , Wiley waved at the them '' Hello , you are the first to arrive ''.
'' you are running this thing like a boss '' said Abbot proudly and Wiley gave him a serious look "I take the best man duty very seriously but the maid of honor is sick so I don't have a choice ''.
Lena smiled '' The groom must be proud ''.
They were interrupted by the sound of Jane's Airstream parking nearby and Lisbon opened the door cheerfully followed by Patrick Jane '' Hi guys '' she said greeting them hugging them one by one followed by Jane '' long time no see Abbot '' said Jane teasing and Abbot smiled '' I can't believe it , its been two years already since I last seen you guys ''.
Lisbon and Jane looked at each other and smiled '''since our wedding '' Jane said and Lisbon blushed '''may be the next time we meet will be on your wedding Wiley '' said Jane and it was Wiley's turn to blush .. in fact he hadn't dated since Vega's death, he was always a shy guy and after Jane left and Cho got promoted he had a lot of new responsibilities beside that he was spending more time training and spending more time in the field and it all kept him too busy to try to meet someone new and deep down he still was a little afraid of getting attached to someone again only to lose them brutally .
'' so how are the little ones ? they are the cutest twins I have ever seen , the photos you sent were adorable '' Said Lena and Lisbon's smile grew bigger at the mention of her children '' The kids are great and they are definitely Janes '' .
Jane rolled his eyes '' she just meant they are handsome and too smart for their age '' .
She nudged him in the shoulder and the Abbots laughed .
'' I should probably check on them '' said Jane and left them to make a call.
'' He is probably calling my niece Anny to check on the kids , she is babysitting this week end , I think he is experiencing some sort of separation anxiety since he has been spending all his time with the kids since I went back to work six months ago '' said Lisbon and Abbot nodded '' completely understandable after all he has been through '' .
''yes '' she said '' but it's too much sometimes '' she thought .
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound another vehicle parking, the Rigsby's waved at them as they took their luggage from the cab.
''I missed you guys so much '' said Lisbon as she hugged Vanpelt and Rigsby .
Abbot introduced them to Lena and Rigsby shook Wiley's hand '' I heard you are the best man I hope you are up to this responsibility '' he said giving Wiley a serious look and Vanpelt interrupted playfully '' Wayne , stop scaring him ''
Wiley let out a breathe he had been holding.. He really was a little scared .
'' As long as you make a good bachelor party '' said Wayne and Wiley shrugged '' There is no Bachelor party '' said Wiley and Wayne looked like he was stuck by lightening then gave him a serious look '' this will change ''.
Jane came back and greeted the Rigsby's '' the gang is back , let's see what kind of trouble we can make '' he said and Rigsby gave him a high five ,Lisbon shook her head and Vanpelt rolled her eyes '' will you guys ever grow up ?''
'' No trouble , This is Cho's wedding guys every thing has to be perfect and you guys need to be on your best behavior '' she pointed her finger towards Jane and Rigsby who felt like a child berated by his teacher .
'' I like it when you get all authoritarian on me '' said Jane and put his hand around Lisbon's waist pulling her closer and she blushed '' stop it Jane '' she hissed , he knew how public affection embarrasses her and he loved it .
'' By the way do we know any thing about the bride ''asked Lena and Rigsby smiled he had Listened to Cho talking about her for hours and he felt proud by the fact that he was the first one to know that his friend was going to propose .
'' she is a surgeon he met on a case , she was operating on one of his agents who got shot last year '' Said Wayne and Wiley raised his arm '' that was me yes .. she gave me a nice scar ''.
Lisbon gave him a sympathetic look'' Aww , at least something good came out of it ''.
Vanpelt jumped a little in excitement '' I thought this day was never coming .. the day Cho falls in love , she must be a wonderful person ''.
Jane shrugged '' I always knew he was romantic at the heart , why else would he hide a collection of Jane Austin novels in his desk ''.
'' you looked into my stuff '?'' asked Cho as he appeared behind Jane and everyone greeted and congratulated him ,then they all decided to go to their hotel rooms to get enough rest before the rehearsal dinner planned by the Bride's family at the evening in her family's mansion .
Jane and Lisbon entered the hotel room and collapsed on the bed '' God I miss the children'' said Jane and Lisbon rolled her eyes putting her arms around his neck '' I miss them too but I also missed having time alone with you ad Anny is so good with the kids and they love her ''
Jane knew that , Anny has been living with them for a few months now until she get an acceptance of one of the colleges she applied to and she was wonderful with kids although dealing with a teenager wasn't always easy but they were doing good so far .
I know Jane sighed in exhaustion '' I know I worry too much I just can't help it , I am sorry '' he said pulling her closer and she shook her head '' you have nothing to be sorry for '' she said straddling him and he pulled her closer kissing her when they were interrupted by her phone ringing '' don't answer '' he pulled her for another kiss but she looked into caller's ID 'I have to take this .. it' work '' she untangled herself form him and went inside the bathroom then locked the door as he sighed frustrated on the bed .
'' Mrs Teresa Jane , We have your blood test results and it's positive . congratulations '' she heard before she hung up and forgot how to breathe .
