..Hi! Lugal kug-ga here! I am a long time reader but a first time writer.
Imma say this now, I own nothing of the originals portrayed in this fic, I'm merely making an iteration.
And should you see some similarities with other fanfic Authors, it might be because I've…. copied it. Or took some parts of their works and incorporated it in mine. So, credits to them.
Enough of the boring A/N and onwards to the story.
I've committed to finishing this work, should it stop updating for a year, I've probably self deleted. So, sit back, enjoy, and review!

—Shirou POV —
He woke up a few hours later, as for how many hours? He didn't know. Having rested enough He went to investigate the glowing thing he Saw earlier. His magical sense has picked up on something that tastes sweet yet refreshing, powerful, yet stable. Now in front of the wall which showed a glow, using reinforcement he altered the surrounding walls around that something.
After several minutes trying to brute force the hard walls with reinforcement. It suddenly hit his senses like a shock wave.
Drip…… Drip……
Hearing the sound of water dripping against the ground he stood there dumbfounded. Then his face lit up with realization, extending his right hand, he tried to catch a drop.
After hesitating for a few minutes he finally brought it towards his mouth, Then the scent and taste of what he could only describe as nature, assaulted his senses, then enveloped his whole body. Shirou was momentarily stunned, only after a short while did he recall how he had Injured his left arm. At that instant, he quickly turned to his left arm. The wounds were still there, but unlike earlier when he just woke up, it now looked superficial at most.
Earlier he judged that he was not out for long. Because of his regeneration which he got from Aesir, it would at most heal him after a day or two. While He was pondering about his wound's recovery, another water droplet resounded, and deciding on confirming his conclusion one more time, he fought another drop with his finger and licked it. The moment it entered his mouth, Shirou Noticed that his strength slightly recovered.
"…No way… is this really?"
He raised his right arm towards where the water was dripping from and altering the surrounding walls again. There was a significant increase in the flow of the mysterious liquid as well as the smell of pure magical energy permeating the surrounding. The droplets eventually became a stream, and advancing even further, Shirou finally arrived at the water source.
"This… this is…"
There was a basketball-sized crystal with a bluish-white luminescence. The crystal has been buried among the surrounding rocks, dripping water from the bottom end. It was a mysterious yet captivating stone. A blue radiance even deeper than aquamarine, is the most fitting expression. Shirou was instantly mesmerized, forgetting everything.
It could have been his curiosity, or possibly attraction, Shirou reached out and cupped his hands on the flowing water from the stone, then directly drank from it. The dull pain in his body and the haze in his mind was cleared, even his fatigue was gone. As expected, The liquid seemed to have healing properties. all other injuries had recovered in the blink of an eye.
this crystal is what he thought it would be, having read about it in the kingdom's library. In fact this crystal is the highest grade treasure known in history, called the 【God Crystal】, and was recognised as an already lost legendary mineral. It was formed from the flow of magic power in the vast earth over thousands of years which coincidentally accumulated, it is the crystallization of magic power itself.
Ranging in thirty to forty centimeters in diameter, after crystallization, it will take another few hundred years for it to reach saturation before magic power will begin to overflow in liquid form. This liquid is called 【Sacred Water】, it is said that drinking it would cure all forms of injuries and diseases.
Though it did not have the ability to regenerate lost body parts, drinking it consistently is said to give everlasting life, and could truly be called the drug of immortality. Ancient tales which tell of Ehit using sacred water to heal the people were widely known.
Personally experiencing the feeling , he thought the name to be suitable.
After some time, Shirou was once more sitting in front of a fire, the firewood used to fuel it was another projection.
Four days had passed since Shirou fell down here. All that time, Shirou had tried finding a way to get back to the upper levels, but still, it was for naught.
surviving solely on the trickling stream of sacred water. And with the blessing of nature, he would be able to survive without consuming some food. However, relying solely on drinking sacred water and the blessing for a long duration also had its limits, though he was kept alive, it wasn't able to erase hunger. He wouldn't die, but Shirou was now suffering from the immense Hunger.
(... what am I going to do now?)
This question went through his mind. He couldn't sleep properly due to the threat of the magic beasts that lurked the area and his selfishness of not wanting to trouble the others on that world of blades than he already did. His mental fatigue somehow gets alleviated whenever he drank the sacred water. projecting several bottle containers, he didn't let his lifeline go to waste.
Before he noticed it, Another three days had passed and the once subdued hunger struck again. The hunger had been torturing him ceaselessly, chipping at his spirit.
(Why…can't I find an exit… Ah, is…is there even one to begin with?… Hungry…)
It had been another three days. The effects of the blessing had already depleted, even drinking the sacred water didn't help. He had only drunk water, he didn't even know if pure magical energy could be considered water, much less eat anything, he probably couldn't last another two days.
However, just a little while ago, on the eighth day, Shirou couldn't handle the hunger anymore. Then because of that, his gaze now drifted towards the corpse of the magic beasts that he had killed days ago, its exposed flesh still did not rot nor decomposed, attributing it to magic, he wondered, what would it taste like.
...
...
In the artificial cave which Shirou made as his base, sounds of something being fried could be heard from the darkness, the green light stone dimly and the orange light of a flame illuminated the surroundings.
It was Shirou, holding a pan over an open flame and in the pan was a slab of meat. The pan was another projection of his, while the meat was of the Talon bear.
Analyzing it, he determined that it was already cooked. Then, takin it out from the fire he then dematerialized the pan, making the meat fall on top of the projected plate, he began to eat.
"tch, I guess this is all I could do without any salt nor spices."
Shirou said as he ate the meat of the cooked Talon bear meat. the meat which consist of mostly tough and hard muscles had been altered and making the meat more tender, he desperately swallowed while dripping some of the meat Juices. It has been approximately two weeks since his last meal, and being suddenly thrown meat, his stomach should have protested violently if it was the him from before he got Aesirs powers. Shirou then continued to gulp down the meat.
Though the repulsive smell and terrible taste made his face scrunch up, he was intoxicated in the feeling of his hunger being satisfied. Shirou had never ever thought that such a simple act of eating could bring him such happiness, as he continued to eat ecstatically.
Treating sacred water as a drink to wash down all the meat that he has had (if the Saint's Church's followers got wind of this, they would surely faint at this extravagance), his stomach began to swell and his body experienced abnormal changes.
"Ah? …!? Gua Aaaa!!!"
His entire body was suddenly struck with severe pain, it was an extremely unpleasant feeling as if he was being eroded from the inside of his body. The pain only intensified as time passed.
"Guaaaaaa! What, What's this…. Guuuuuu!"
Unbearable pain eating away at his body. Shirou thrashed around on the ground, it was a pain so severe that it brought during the time of the fire.
"Ahhhh!! What… what, this, ahhhhhh!"
Shirou's body began to convulse in sync with the pain. Ba-thump, Ba-thump, his entire body was pulsating, giving off audible popping sounds everywhere. But in the very next instant, the blessing of nature took effect and tried to adapt his body to the abnormality.
After recovering a brief respite, intense pain struck once more, the blessings effect could not keep up with the rate at which his body was getting destroyed. Thinking of something to help with the pain, his gaze then rested upon the half-empty cup with The sacred water in it.
Reaching out with difficulty, he managed to drink its contents, effects were instant. With The sacred water and the blessing, the pain has now become somewhat manageable.
Managing to sit up, his face winced at the constant pain. With no end in sight, he continued to endure the experience of his body being altered; there was no other choice but to endure it.
Changes began to appear on Shirou's body. First, his hair color, it might have been because of the effects of the blessing, or the alteration, or some other reason, but his characteristic red hair rapidly darkened, close to dark red.
There is a phenomenon called supercompensation. It is a phenomenon in which torn muscles due to training or other activities, when recovered, will experience slight hypertrophy. Similarly for broken bones, their strength is increased after recovering. Currently, what is happening to Shirou's body is exactly that strange phenomenon. his muscles and skeleton grew thicker.
Though, the effects of the change didn't just stop at his body, with several thin purple black lines appearing within his body. These were the magic circuits that awakened after getting Aesirs powers, 27 that should have glowed blue, now a Purplish black, has an additional one, making it a total of 28.
The number of circuits is determined by birth, but the way to increase them artificially is both painful and deadly, the only way to safely add circuits is through the sacrifice of a Magus's ancestors to create what is called, a magic crest. But, transferring it to someone who is not related to that Magus's bloodline can have deadly consequences.
Then with the meat of magic beasts, a deadly poison for humans. They possess a special organ within their bodies called the magic stone, which produces magic power that directly circulates their bodies, allowing magic beasts to exhibit astounding physical abilities.
The flesh and bones of the magic beasts, soaked in the magic power circulating their body, turned strong and sturdy, this has exactly the same characteristics of a Magus's circuits or crest, except, it was a magic beast that has them and not humans.
Such an 'alteration of magic' does not require chants or magic circles, and is considered an inherent-born magic with unclear details. In any case, this alteration magic is lethal to humans as it corrodes the human body from the inside, destroying the cells from within, but that's not the entire truth.
The magic beast is a bit like a magic crest in and of itself, eating their meat would mean, consuming their information, or in this case the engraved spells from their body. The information would then try to engrave itself into the soul of the one that consumed it, this would make the soul react in a negative way.
If Shirou didn't have his own circuits, he would have been puzzled by this. As it reminded him of Aesirs memory of the pain when Tohsaka has implanted her families crest unto Aesir, and the way that he had Artificially created magic circuits which felt like inserting a burning hot iron rod into the spine.
It's no wonder that In the past, anybody and everybody who had eaten magic beast's meat, without exception, had their bodies crumbled and died. As a matter of fact, Shirou knew of this, but he was so preoccupied with his hunger that he had overlooked it.
If all Shirou had eaten was magic beast's meat, his body would probably have collapsed and died already, but he had the blessing of nature and the Sacred water. Destroyed parts were instantly restored, his body adapting from eating such…thing. as a result, his body strengthened at an amazing rate.
Destroy, recover, adapt destroy, recover, adapt. His body pulsated as it changed, as though undergoing reincarnation. It was a metamorphosis in which he discarded his previous body and was reborn.
The pulsations finally ceased as Shirou collapsed on his back against the cave wall, completely exhausted. His hair now dark red which has a streaks of black , and now, under his clothes, several purplish black lines could be seen running across his body. His circuits having activated on their own, and now It looked exactly like those on the Kicking Rabbit, Twin-tailed Wolf, and the Talon Bear.
Shirou's hand twitched, slightly opening his tightly shut eyes, his wavering focus landed on his hands. Clenching his fists, clenching sounds were produced as his hand tightened into a fist. He released and clenched his fist several times to ensure that he was in control of his hand's movements before he slowly got up.
"…That reminds me, magic beasts mustn't be eaten… I'm such a fool… oh well, even if that's so, I have already eaten it…"
With an exhausted expression, Shirou gave an exhausted sigh. His hunger has subsided and has been blown aways by that intense pain, it had been a long time since he had not felt any pain. Or rather, his body was strangely light and he felt his entire body brimming in power.
"What happened to my body?...What a strange feeling…"
Shirou felt a sense of discomfort from within. Both hot and cold alike, couldn't be used to describe that queer sensation, which is unusual considering the was supposed to be immune to them. Concentrating, he then activated his circuits.
".. Trace, on!"
Thin purplish black lines then emerged. His brows Furrowing at the change from his circuits.
"... what, what is this?..why does it give off the feeling similar to that of the magic beast…Oh yeah, my status plate…"
Having completely forgotten the status plate's existence, Shirou searched his pockets. It seems like somehow or the other, he didn't accidentally lose it. Shirou then checked his current status, thinking that maybe he could learn something regarding his body's abnormality.
Emiya Shirou. (17)???? Year Old Man

Resistance:300. Agility:450
Magic Power:???? Magic Resistance: 1000
Skills:
Projection • Reinforcement [Structural analysis] [Alteration] • Spirit magic [sealed] • Blessing of Nature[body adaptation] • Magic Manipulation • Air Claw • Language Comprehension
"... What?"
Shirou was so shocked that he couldn't say but a single word. Across the board, all his status had surged, with his skills increasing by seven, and yet, he was still only level 10. If levels are considered a representation of a person's growth, it appears that Shirou's growth limits had increased as well. He could understand where the other skills came from and some of the changes in his status, but one skill in particular caught his attention.
"Air claw?"
Judging by its literal meaning, it probably allowed one to have claws made of air. "By any chance, did I just obtain that bear's magic?!," he Speculated, remembering how the talon bear so easily bisected the kicking rabbit into several parts.
After calming down, again. He now decided to analyze his body. And what he discovered shocked him once again.
".. this extra circuit…it has magic encoded into it…"
Shaking his head from the shock he concentrated and attempted 【Air claw】.
".. let's see if this works, Trace, on. " As soon as Shirou spoke his aria, the now purplish black circuits glowed stronger.
Envisioning an image where all his feelings were gathered within his right hand, then once again experiencing the strange sensation, the magic in the additional circuit activated.
"Whoa, whoa, oh~?"
Shirou raised an unintentional cry due to the indescribable feeling. The gathered magic power within his right hand began to gather air and using magic power or magical energy from the world, it condensed five 6 inch invisible claws of air.
"Are you serious? In principle, it is impossible for magic circuits to increase and inherit a spell recorded into it, except for magic crests… Did the magic beast's meat function as one? And eating it made me inherit that special characteristic?"
Spot on. Shirou had indeed obtained the magic beast's unique characteristic.
"...'sigh', I guess I could only be grateful… it's no use whining about the spilled milk."
After that, he tried exploring what he could do with it. However, he wasn't able to release an air slash like the Talon bear. Probably like its name suggests, 【Air claw】 could only be produced around the claws. Adjusting the length and width would still require practice.
…
…
Cutting up the meat from the rest of the Talon bear was comparatively easier compared to the first time he did it. Storing the meat into projected containers, Shirou decided to rest up for the day
It had been a few days since Shirou experienced the rapid increase in skills and his status. During those few days, he tried hunting some twin tailed wolves and kicking rabbit, to test if his speculations were true.
Though he couldn't help but have a wry smile, for the him now had no problems taking them down, one or two reinforced arrow were enough to kill the wolves, and a swipe of air claw should they manage to get close.
As for the kicking rabbit…he just traced the red spear of Cu Chullain….no matter how fast it might be, it could not escape the spears cause and effect. ' …why didn't I thought of this earlier..' he thought.
Well, considering he had just obtained his new power and was not that familiar with it yet, it couldn't be helped that he had overlooked several things. Another thing he had overlooked was that, he could now just consciously use his skills without activating his Circuits, which was kind of convenient.
So, with his hunts and eating different kinds of magic beasts meat. All his skills had been growing nicely.
Here's his current status.

Skills:
Projection • Reinforcement [Structural Analysis] [Alteration ] [ Mineral Analysis]• Spirit magic [sealed] • Blessing of Nature[body adaptation] • Magic Manipulation • Iron Stomach • Lightning Clad • Divine Step [Aerodynamic] [Ground Shrink] • Air Claw • Language Comprehension
[Divine step] which he got from eating the kicking rabbit. [Iron Stomach] and [Lightning Clad] from the twin tailed wolves….he just wished he had the Iron Stomach skill before he ate the Talon bears meat.
Among them, there was a strange addition to his Reinforcement skill, it had gained another derivation skill. That was 【Mineral Analysis】. With this skill, as long as he was touching the mineral, he could analyze any mineral, in which functions similarly to Structural Analysis. But, unlike his Structural Analysis skill, this one specializes in Minerals, even one which was unknown to him.
What Shirou gleaned from examining his surrounding minerals thoroughly. For example, using 【Mineral Analysis】 on the green light stone causes words to appear on his status plate.
Green Light Stone
A crystal with magic absorbing properties. After amassing magic power, a faint green light will be released. If it's broken in its amassed state, all the accumulated light will be instantly released.
It was an extremely simple explanation, but he fully appreciated the information. Shirou broke into a grin as he thought intriguingly. After wandering about, looking for a useful mineral, Shirou finally discovered an indispensable mineral for creating an Armor. An Armor which would not only be his partner, but his insurance in case an enemy managed to get close to him.
Taur Stone
A hard black rock. Hardness 8 (out of a 10 grades rating, with 10 being the hardest). Resistant against impacts and heat. Weak against cold. It will become brittle when cooled. Heating it will cause it to bind again.
The moment Shirou saw the explanation, he felt a jolt of electricity run through his mind. Doesn't the Taur Stone suitable for creating such an Armor? If that's the case, then he had discovered how to maximize his defense power without using Reinforcement! Shirou was excited. It would probably require much effort and trial and error in order to produce it, nonetheless, being able to use the Reinforcement which had saved him on countless occasions to finally obtain a means to defend, made him unbearably happy.
Thus, earnestly devoting all his time on nothing but Altering the minerals shape and composition, even forgetting to eat or sleep, and as a result of over a thousand failures, Shirou finally successfully crafted that thing.
Standing in front of a Projected Mirror. He gave a satisfied smile. His figure, now resembling that of the red bowman, but without the red sleeves and shroud. he wore a pair of black pants, crafted from the skin of the Talon bear. And leather boots, from its skin and bones, the bone shape were altered for the boot's Sole and Toe cap.
"... this is good." With a satisfied nod he dismissed the mirror.
The armor doesn't just boast a good defensive armament but it could also be reinforced several times over to multiply its defensive composition.
Picking up his Projected bag pack. He strode towards the entrance of the cave, where he had lived for several days. Turning towards it one last time, he spoke with words that came from the depths of his heart.
"Thank you…then, I'll be off." He said with a bow, before altering the entrance, completely covering it.
He then began to walk towards the direction of the passage which led down the dungeon that he had discovered several days prior.
With his bag containing the God's Crystal which had stopped producing sacred water, and the bottles made from Taur stone which he had stored the gathered sacred water which he named [Elixir]. And several dried meat, also storing several flammable ore, named [Combustion stone] , which he might have some use later on.
With determined steps, towards the unknown future, He now embarked on his own adventure.
Combustion Stone
A flammable ore. After ignition, it will continue to burn with itself as fuel. It will gradually become smaller as it continues to burn before it eventually burns out. If a large amount of Combustion Stones were ignited all at once in a sealed space, there is a possibility of an explosion comparable to a highest ranked fire-attribute magic.
Another one! ... this is it for today. I'm currently stuck with the next chapter. imma try to finish it and post it tomorrow.
