Hi! Lugal kug-ga here! I am a long time reader but a first time writer.

Imma say this now, I own nothing of the originals portrayed in this fic, I'm merely making an iteration.

And should you see some similarities with other fanfic Authors, it might be because I've…. copied it. Or took some parts of their works and incorporated it in mine. So, credits to them.

Enough of the boring A/N and onwards to the story.

I've committed to finishing this work, should it stop updating for a year, I've probably self deleted. So, sit back, enjoy, and review!

Chapter 11

—Kotomine Shirou POV —

Today, Shirou decided to check on Riku. Standing up from his seat, he turned towards Ayako.

"Sorry, Nakano-san, there's something important I have to do. So, I won't be able to join you," he said apologetically.

"What's that?" Ayako suddenly asked as he was about to turn.

"Oh, just something I forgot to discuss with the principal yesterday," he said, though in his mind, he added, ('just gonna check up on a junior, making sure she's not having a problem with her Lycanthropy.')

Bidding her goodbye and telling her to enjoy her meal, he failed to notice the mixture of surprise, dumbfoundedness, and shock on her face.

Going out of the classroom, he asked for the class of Riku, Kokoro, and Reina. She said he was their senior, and considering they looked older than the first years, he estimated they were second years, meaning they are located on the second floor.

Asking around, he found their classroom. It seemed they were in class 2-C. Poking his head in, he then asked the students inside, "Excuse me. Are Shinguji Kokoro, Suzuki Riku, and Suzuno Reina here?" A bout of silence ensued, before erupting into several murmurings.

Fortunately, one student answered. A girl with short blonde hair, blue eyes, and glasses approached him and spoke. "Kokoro-san currently has a meeting with the student council. I think Riku-san is in class 1-B. And as for Suzuno-san…I'm sorry, I don't know," she said with a bow.

"No, thank you, that's more than enough. Suzuki-san is the one that I have business with anyway," he said with a smile, before turning around. Walking down the stairs to the first-year's floor, he then went straight to the classroom labeled 1-B.

Asking once more, it seemed they saw her go to the Science building earlier. She might have gone to the rooftop. In his stupor, one junior suddenly asked with some hesitation in her tone, "U-um! May I ask, are you a third year? And what's your r-relationship with Riku-san?" At that, the whole classroom quieted down, waiting for his answer. Shirou looked back with a puzzled expression. But, seeing the reaction of the class, he suddenly felt mischievous…he blamed his adopted sister.

Giving them a smile, he answered. "..un, yes. I'm in class 3-A. I've just transferred yesterday. And as for my relationship with Suzuki-san…" he paused, gathering tension. "You could say, we spent a night under the moonlight." Then, giving them a wink, he left the now noisy first years' classroom.

Walking down the hallway leading to the science building while smiling about the seed of chaos he planted. But suddenly, his smile disappeared, replaced with seriousness and focus.

('...was that..?...did I imagine it?') He thought. The reason for his reaction was because he suddenly sensed the familiar scent of magic. But unlike regular magic, this one has the characteristics of being sweet yet rotten, familiar yet alien.

Shaking his head, he made a mental note to investigate it later on after class. The priority now is to check up on Suzuki Riku.

Arriving at the rooftop of the science building, he saw Reina sitting on top of Riku, who was doing planks. While Kokoro was there, looking at them with a weird expression.

Asking Shinguji Kokoro about the situation, it seemed like this was one of the solutions to Riku's werewolf problem. Exhausting herself so that when she transforms her werewolf form won't have the energy. Then, eating her fill so that she won't have to hunt, then lastly, meditation. The last one seems to be about her being able to remain conscious even in her werewolf state.

"Hmm, is that so? Well, if it helps then that's fine." He said with a nod. "Well, then I suppose I'll just check on you from time to time. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me." Bidding them farewell, he then went back to class. Greeting Ayako once more as well as Hana and Miko, he took a seat. The class has resumed.

After class, he apologized to Ayako that he wouldn't be able to walk home together. But, Ayako just gave him an understanding smile, as if she already knew what he was going to do…if only he knew.

Walking down the hallway once more, he then stopped in front of an empty room located near the stairs leading to the third floor. He's currently in the science building, and where he last sensed something was earlier in the afternoon.

Opening the sliding door, he walked in. Looking around, nothing seemed to be suspicious. But then something caught his attention. Walking to the center of the room, he placed his hand on the floor.

"Trace, on!" As he spoke his aria, blue light extended from the point of contact.

"...someone was here, they were gone for a few hours then suddenly appeared, then disappeared just as quickly...is this, space distortion?…but…Zelretch seemed unlikely, he's got better things to do…if so, the question is, who was it?" He wondered, his mind racing a mile a minute. Considering that the art of teleportation has been lost during the age of gods, making it more bizarre.

This was concerning, it's also the fact that, amongst the Magus families currently based in Kurikami city, none of them have any connections to Space-time magecraft. And considering the second owner, they would have informed him of any other Magus currently living here.

If so, either they were hiding it. Or they didn't know. …No matter, he's just going to add the visit of the second owner as one of his to-do lists on Saturday.

Walking out, he turns to leave. With the orange light of the sun illuminating the empty and quiet hallway, it gave off the feeling of…something.. It's an emotion close to tranquility and nostalgia.

Turning around the corner, he didn't notice someone enter the room he was just in. She was a girl with long black hair reaching her waist, and she had eyes, red as the color of blood.

...

Friday.

Shirou was in a good mood. Because finally, a day without some unusual events happening, well, yesterday didn't count as he just sensed it. Sitting on his seat, waiting for the next instructor to arrive, he contemplated what happened today.

During recess, after their second subject in the morning had just ended, Hana had approached him along with Miko trailing behind.

"...do you need something, Yurikawa-san, Yotsuya-san?" He inquired.

Hana, the ever-cheerful girl, answered. "Ah! We just want to know more about you! Oh! And because Miko-chan was constantly looking at you."

Miko, not expecting Hana to suddenly mention her actions, became red in embarrassment. "Hana! What are you saying!" she shouted at

her friend. But Hana just tilted her head in puzzlement.

"... isn't it true though?" She asked.

Miko, now not sure where to look, stuttered an answer. "It, it was because I didn't see his usual necklace! Yeah, that's it. There's nothing more to it!"

"Okay, okay! Calm down, Miko-chan!"

Shirou watched the two with amusement, then intervened, with the current situation, the talk wouldn't progress after all.

"...I see..well, as for my necklace, I just gave it to someone who needed it more than me…So, what do you want to know? I'm telling you now, my life is not that eventful." He said with a smile, and not noticing his seatmate snorted at his last words.

Miko, finally calmed down, looked at Hana. "..oh yeah, how long have you been a Priest? What's it like? And what do you do?" she asked after, seemingly remembering her purpose.

"... well, I became one when I was thirteen, I think."

('an executor, that is.')

" I just went to places to do some missionary work where the church sent me"

('to hunt some heretics, by the pope's orders')

"Sometimes it was difficult, but I've managed somehow."

('yeah, managed to stay alive, that is.')

"Well, that's about it, I suppose."

He explained to them.

Hana then had a pondering expression. "...hmmm…yeah, that's all my question I guess…ah! Do you perhaps know the Church at the East side of the city?"

"Yeah, that's where I live." Shirou answered.

"Eh! But, but is it okay? Living there alone?" She asked with a worried tone.

But Shirou merely reassured her that it's not a problem, and that there were funds sent by the church for his living expenses.

At that, the conversation devolved more into mundane topics, like, what's his favorite food, does he already know the shops that sell delicious food, etc…. Hana's question was merely about food.

"Well, I cook my own food so, sorry, I can't help you with the store situation," he said to her.

"Don't mind Hana, she just…likes eating that's all," Miko said with a wry smile, which made Hana pout.

Just like that, their conversations continued until the bell signaling the start of the third period sounded. Shirou, seeing them return to their seats, thought that maybe he could make them some cake and cookies or something…well, he had some ingredients and the tools so, why not. With that, he added another one to his to-do list for the weekends.

With that, he went through the next class, with a seatmate having the look of envy as she looked at both Hana and Miko.

Lunchtime…

It seemed Hana and Miko decided to join Shirou and Ayako.

Shirou was surprised at Hana's lunchbox…it seemed like it would be enough for at least three people. He wondered, where does the food go into that slim waist? He then glanced at her assets, and as if being enlightened, he gave a nod. Completely ignoring the sharp gaze of the other two girls.

The three girls then got to know each other. It seemed like, despite being classmates, they never did interact with each other.

"Well, it might also be because Ayako-chan has the air of a Lo–Introvert!" Hana stated. Ayako figuratively glowed at her way of calling her, but quickly changed into a gloomy one when she heard Hana's last words.

".. you were clearly about to say Loner weren't you?" Miko deadpanned. Fortunately, Hana still had the sense to be embarrassed and apologized to her. Thankfully, Ayako accepted Hana's apology.

Finishing his lunchbox, he excused himself. Walking out of the restroom, he then decided to go back to his classroom, as afternoon classes were about to start.

And as he was halfway through the hallway, someone grabbed him by the hand.

Surprised at the unexpected contact, he turned around. Only to see eyes the color of blood. He was about to trace several black keys and gain some distance when he then realized she was human. Slightly out of breath with beads of sweat trailing down her forehead, she looked panicked.

He was about to ask if she was alright when she beat him to it.

"You're going to die," she said with a serious expression.

"Hah?" Shirou, who was suddenly told something like that, was dumbfounded and could only utter such. he really did jinxed himself.

"If you stay after school, you'll die. So don't stay after school," she continued.

"Wait, wait, what's this about me dying? Why would you say such a thing?" Shirou asked, a hand to his forehead in exasperation. At his question, she seemed to suddenly hesitate.

"I…you will…" but then, a voice of another girl interjected. Running from the hallway, it seemed she was looking for the girl who suddenly said he would die.

"Satsuki! Did you find him!" She has short neon yellow-green hair and eyes with the hue of aquamarine. It seemed she was a friend of the now identified Satsuki.

"Un! It's him," she said, smiling at the girl.

Approaching Satsuki's side, she asked, "So? What did you tell him?"

Satsuki, giving her a proud smile, spoke. "I said he would die after school." The girl suddenly became silent. "W-what?" At Satsuki's question, the girl's complexion darkened.

She then silently took a step forward towards Satsuki, who took a step back in response, " …are..Are you an idiot!" "ow!" and Suddenly smacked her on the head.

Standing over the now crouching Satsuki holding her head, the girl spoke, "What do you think of his reaction if you just suddenly say he's gonna die! Of course he won't believe it!"

Satsuki, with teary eyes, looked up at the girl and was about to speak when the girl's raised fist shut her up.

At this time, Shirou interjected, not wanting to see Satsuki get hurt more than already is.

"Excuse me, could you tell me what is going on? I want to know why she suddenly said that I was going to die?" He asked with a smile.

His question managed to grab both the girls' attention. Satsuki and the girl then exchanged glances.

"...at least he's willing to listen," she said as she lowered her fist. "you really are too straightforward, ain't ya." Shaking her head, he then turned towards Shirou.

"..my name is Atou Akira, and this here is Minazuki Satsuki." Introducing herself and the now standing Satsuki, she then continued with a serious tone.

"There's something important we need to tell you, can you please listen to her, senpai?"

Shirou, seeing their serious expression, could only sport a wry smile. Well, seeing them like that there's no way he's gonna refuse, nodding at them, they then walked towards a secluded corner by the stairs at the end of the hallway. Class has already started, so no student would be interrupting them.

"...so? Can you explain what you meant earlier, Minazuki-san?" He inquired. But it seemed, Satsuki was having a hard time putting together her words. Akira, seeing her like that, heaved a sigh.

"Just tell him what you saw," Akira urged.

"... okay..I… I saw your corpse in the room beside the stairs leading up to the science building after-school yesterday…it means, you will die there today if you go there," Akira gave her a proud smile.

Shirou, skepticism marring his face, but became quiet when the location of the room was mentioned. It was the room where he sensed some remnants of space distortion. He was thinking of investigating it afterward when everyone went home if something had changed, and it seemed like there would be one, if what they are saying is to be believed.

Shirou, now sporting a serious expression, asked.

"... you mentioned you saw my corpse. What do you mean by that?" The two then became silent. Fortunately, Satsuki, who seemed to hesitate whether to tell him something or not, finally spoke.

"..I..I could see dead bodies a day before their death.. you might not believe me, but please, just don't go to that room," she said, with an expression close to begging.

Taking a moment to look her in the eyes before turning towards Akira. "..And you believe her?" He asked.

Matching his eyes, she then nodded.

For several minutes, silence enveloped them, the two girls waiting for his response with rapt attention. Finally, he smiled, turning to them as he spoke.

"Okay, I'll believe you, I won't go there now." His answer, eliciting a sigh of relief from the two.

"Isn't that great, at least senpai kinda listened," Akira turned to Satsuki with a smile. To which Satsuki nodded.

Seeing them like that, Shirou asked a probing question.

"Minazuki-san, what does your father do?"

Satsuki, not knowing why he suddenly asked such a question, answered. "... he's a doctor..why are you asking?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

" I see…nothing much, just curious." He answered dismissively. With her answer, Satsuki was not someone of the moonlit world, but still can see an unknown world from the ordinary.

"So, you can see future deaths?" ('Is it some kind of mystic eyes?')

Shirou, intrigued by Satsuki's ability to see dead bodies before their death, turned to her with a curious expression. "Minazuki-san, could you tell me more about your ability? How does it work?"

Satsuki hesitated for a moment before nodding, her expression serious. "It's like... I just see them. The visions come to me suddenly, and I can't control it. I've seen things like this since I was a child."

Shirou nodded thoughtfully, absorbing her explanation. "That's quite a unique ability. It must be both a blessing and a curse."

Satsuki nodded in agreement, her gaze distant. "Yeah, sometimes it's helpful, but most of the time, it's just... hard."

Turning to Akira, Shirou inquired, "Is Minazuki-san always this straightforward?"

Akira shrugged nonchalantly, offering a small smile. "Yep, that's just how she is. Satsuki's just too honest for her own good."

Satsuki blushed slightly at the comment, looking down at her feet. "Hey, I can't help it, okay!," she mumbled, feeling a bit self-conscious under Shirou's scrutiny.

Shirou chuckled softly, trying to ease the tension. "No need to apologize. It's refreshing to meet someone so honest."

With a small smile, Satsuki looked up at Shirou, her eyes reflecting gratitude. "Thank you, senpai."

The three of them stood in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts. Despite the situation, there was a sense of trust forming between them, well mostly from Satsuki, it seemed like, due to her ability, few trusted her, so she gets easily attached to someone who did believe in her.

Suddenly, the bell signaling the end of the first period in the afternoon rang, breaking the silence. Shirou glanced at the clock and turned to them..

"Well, it looks like it's time for the next period, you should also go back to your classes before you get scolded for skipping classes.," Shirou said, giving Satsuki and Akira a nod of farewell. "Thank you for letting me know about the... situation."

Satsuki and Akira nodded in response, exchanging a knowing look between them.

As Shirou turned to leave, Satsuki called out to him, her voice filled with concern. "Please, be careful, senpai. Don't go to that room."

Shirou smiled reassuringly at her. "I won't. Take care, Minazuki-san, Atou-san."

With that, Shirou headed off, leaving Satsuki and Akira standing in the hallway, watching him go with worried expressions.

--

After Shirou returned to his class and settled into his seat, he was approached by Miko and Hana, who had noticed his earlier interaction with Satsuki and Akira.

"Shirou-san, is everything alright? You seemed a bit tense earlier," Miko inquired, her brow furrowed with concern.

Shirou offered them a reassuring smile, though inwardly, he appreciated their observant nature. "Oh, it's nothing to worry about. A junior just wanted to ask me for help with something. Everything's fine, really," he explained calmly, hoping to alleviate their concerns.

Miko and Hana exchanged glances, seeming somewhat reassured by Shirou's explanation. They nodded in understanding before returning to their seats, albeit with lingering glances in Shirou's direction. However, Shirou couldn't help but notice Ayako's worried expression as she glanced at him.

"Is something bothering you, Nakano-san?" Shirou asked, tilting his head slightly.

Ayako shook her head slightly. "No, it's nothing. Just... take care, Shirou-kun," she said softly, her worry still evident in her eyes.

Shirou nodded in understanding, offering her a reassuring smile. "I will, don't worry. Thank you, Nakano-san," he said sincerely.

As for Satsuki and Akira, after Shirou left, they were in a relatively good mood, especially Akira, who was talking animatedly about how approachable and understanding their senpai was. Instead of going back to their class, they decided to check the room first to see if the premonitory corpse of Shirou disappeared.

However, when Satsuki opened the door, she quickly closed it, her expression one of shock, her breath catching in her throat at what she saw. Satsuki leaned against it for support, her hands trembling slightly. Akira, noticing her distress, rushed to her side, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Satsuki, what did you see? Are you alright?" Akira asked urgently, her voice filled with concern for her friend.

With hesitation, Satsuki managed to speak. "I... I saw, us." she whispered, her voice trembling slightly.

Akira's expression shifted to one of discomfort as she processed Satsuki's words. "What do you mean? What did you see?" she pressed, her concern growing.

With a shaky breath, Satsuki managed to speak, her voice barely above a whisper. "Our... our bodies were there, along with his," she whispered, her words laced with fear and disbelief.

Akira's eyes widened in shock as she processed Satsuki's words. The gravity of the situation weighed heavily on her, and she struggled to find the right words to respond.

Entering the room when Satsuki managed to calm down, Akira then asked Satsuki to describe the state of their corpses.

Taking a deep breath to steady herself, Satsuki explained, trying to fight back the urge to vomit. "Our bodies... they were undressed, with... with some white liquid smeared on them. And... there was a handprint on our necks, as if we were strangled," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Akira's eyes widened in shock as she listened to Satsuki's description. It suddenly dawned on her why their bodies were there.

"If our bodies were there, and then Shirou's body didn't disappear... which means he's still going to come to this room, it might be because we tried to follow him. It seemed like senpai either didn't believe us or something made him come here regardless." Akira realized, her voice tinged with urgency.

"If our bodies were there... then Shirou's body didn't disappear," Akira realized, her voice trembling with the magnitude of their discovery. "It means he's still going to come to this room."

Satsuki's heart clenched with fear as the implications of their discovery sank in. She felt a surge of panic rising within her, threatening to overwhelm her senses.

"We have to stop him," Satsuki exclaimed, her voice filled with urgency as she pushed herself away from the door, her mind racing with thoughts of how to prevent the grim fate they had witnessed.

Hearing Akira's words, Satsuki's eyes widened in panic, and she nearly stormed out to go find Shirou. However, Akira hastily stopped her, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Satsuki, wait! If what you saw is true, and Senpai will die after the classes ends, then we just have to stop him after class from reaching this room." Akira reasoned, her voice firm with determination.

Satsuki took a moment to compose herself, wiping away the tears that had formed from being told that her senpai didn't believe in her. Nodding in agreement, she took a deep breath, calming herself.

"Right... let's go back to our classroom," she said, her voice resolute.

Together, Satsuki and Akira walked back to their classroom, their minds racing with thoughts of how to prevent the grim fate they had witnessed.

--

As Shirou stood in front of the two girls, he could sense their disagreement with his decision. Their expressions were a mix of concern, determination and disapproval, as if they were trying to convey the urgency of the situation to him.

….

When class finally ended, Shirou bid farewell to Hana and Miko, once again thanking them for their concern. As he turned to leave the classroom, Ayako's voice suddenly stopped him in his tracks.

"Shirou-san… please be careful," Ayako said softly, her tone filled with genuine concern.

Shirou turned to face her, offering a reassuring smile. "Thank you, Nakano-san. I'll make sure to be careful," he replied sincerely, appreciating her concern.

As he stepped out of the classroom then turned left not towards the exit but towards the room of concern, as he was walking he then saw both Akira and Satsuki waiting for him, their expressions tense with worry. Akira crossed her arms, her gaze unwavering as she spoke.

"So, what's your plan now, senpai?" Akira asked, her tone tinged with a hint of skepticism.

Before Shirou could respond, Satsuki interjected, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and concern. "Why would you go to that room, senpai? Didn't you believe me when I said what I saw?"

Shirou met Satsuki's gaze with a calm expression, his smile still present on his face. "Of course I trust you, Minazuki-san," he said earnestly, his tone gentle. "But I need to investigate it myself to fully understand the situation."

Satsuki's frustration seemed to grow at his response, her expression now tinged with anger. "If you trust me, then why would you still go there?" she demanded, her voice slightly raised.

Shirou's smile remained, though it now felt more eerie to the girls. "Because sometimes, trust isn't enough. I need to see it with my own eyes to fully comprehend it," he explained calmly, his gaze unwavering.

As Shirou began walking towards the room, Satsuki and Akira exchanged worried glances before quickly following after him. However, when they reached the entrance of the room, they were met with an unexpected sight.

There was nothing there.

Confusion marred Akira's brow as she looked around cautiously, her senses on high alert. Meanwhile, Satsuki's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at the empty space where their premonitory corpses were supposed to be.

Instead, there was only one body lying on the ground – Shirou's.

His head missing, as well as his left hand, while a hole the size of a fist on the center of his chest, his clothes torn, burnt and bloody, as if he's been mangled by an animal or beast.

As Satsuki processed the surreal scene before her, Shirou approached and knelt down in the center of the room, his hands resting on the floor as if he was trying to sense something.

The atmosphere in the room grew tense as they all silently contemplated the implications of what was about to happen.

Shirou broke the silence with a calm voice, "... you should leave, from now on it's not of your concern."

Satsuki, hearing his words became enraged, but her mind raced with questions and uncertainty. "... how could you say that! Are you really trying to get killed! Do you not value your own life?!" she asked, her voice trembling with anger.

Shirou glanced up at her, his expression serious. "... I'm saying there's nothing you can help with here, Minazuki-san. If you stay, then you really will die."

Akira, who had been observing the room intently, suddenly spoke up. "I don't like this. It feels like we're being watched," she said, her voice low with apprehension.

Satsuki's heart clenched with fear at Akira's words, and she glanced around the room nervously. "We need to leave, senpai! Please!" she said, her voice laced in agitation.

As he was about to answer, he tensed. An unknown energy enveloped the room, locking the space inside the room. The energy was familiar, it was the one he sensed yesterday.

Shirou, rising to his feet, traced several Black keys, with a click of his tongue. "...Tch, I think that's not possible anymore. " he said. Then with his tone firm with determination he spoke to the two now disgruntled duo, looking around trying to figure out what happened.

" When I say Run, Run."

The two girls took a step back in surprise seeing the suddenly appeared Swords in his hands, held between his fingers. As the words sank in, they were about to ask what he meant when he suddenly threw the black keys into the entrance.

The black keys, reinforced to the limits, blew a hole into the forming barrier along with the door. Then he shouted.

" Now!" Akira, with her quick reflex, grabbed Satsuki's hand and dragged themselves out of the room, who looked clearly agitated. "W-wait! Senpai still–!"

"Don't worry, I'll follow soon!" He shouted at them, interrupting her.

Outside, Akira and Satsuki, heaving with panicked expressions, Akira managed to speak out.

" W–what the, hell was that!" But her question went unanswered as Satsuki suddenly went back in front of the door. "Satsuki!" With eyes widening, she went after her, then her eyes widened, noticing the door that was supposed to have a massive hole in it now has the same appearance as the one they went through earlier.

Then seeing as Satsuki was about to open it, she dashed towards her, but she was too late, as she tackled her, the both of them went tumbling down inside.

Akira, still full of adrenaline, immediately stood up to look around, but…there was nothing there.

Not one, not a thing was out of place, no abnormalities and most importantly, there was no one there.

Looking back at Satsuki, she saw her sitting down on her knees on the floor, looking at the floor as if looking at something horrifying.

" Satsuki, what, what do you see?" She asked, her voice cracking.

"... changed." She mumbled.

"What?" Satsuki asked with a raspy voice.

"... his, his body changed!" She then looked at Akira with teary eyes.

Akira went to hold her, trying to calm her down, after a few minutes of trying, Satsuki finally calmed down, to which Akira thought it was time to ask what she saw.

" …his body, it has several swords." She said, looking at the premonitory corpse which sat there.

" .. you mean he's been stabbed by several swords?" Akira asked, brows Furrowing at the description. Satsuki shook her head.

"..no, the.. swords were growing out of him."

At that Akira's eyes widened in shock.

"But, but how is that possible! Maybe you saw it wrong?" she stated, trying to make sense of what Satsuki said, but seeing her shake her head made her quiet.

"... what's wrong Satsuki" she finally asked, noticing Satsuki's expression.

" His time of death was changed." She said with a tone of surprise.

"Wait, what?" She shot back.

Looking up at Akira with a hopeful expression, she answered.

" His death was changed to tomorrow."

" But, how?" Akira asked.

" I don't know but, it seems he will appear here tomorrow, if we could stop him from going here, then we could save him." Satsuki stated, now appearing more determined.

" But, tomorrow is Saturday."

At her statement, Satsuki quietly looked at the center of the room.

"Then It's more convenient."She then stated.

Akira, seeing her expression, knew Satsuki won't be changing her mind anytime soon. Sighing, she spoke.

"I'll help, there is nothing to do at my place anyway."

They then devolved into silence quietly looking down where Shirou had stood before.

After a while, Together, they then exited the room, the sense of unease lingering in the air behind them. As they walked back home, their minds were filled with questions and uncertainty about what they had just experienced, and determination for what they had to do.

Little did they know, their encounter was just the beginning of a series of events that would change their lives forever.

--

As Shirou stood alone in the room, a palpable tension hung in the air, thick and suffocating. His senses were on high alert, every nerve tingling with anticipation. With a cautious gaze, he scanned the dimly lit space, searching for any sign of danger.

"Show yourself," he called out into the silence, his voice echoing off the walls. The only response he received was the low, guttural growl of a beast, sending a shiver down his spine.

Turning towards the source of the sound, Shirou's eyes widened in disbelief as he beheld the sight before him. Three sabertooth tigers stood tall and imposing, their sleek fur glistening in the faint light. Their predatory eyes locked onto him with an intensity that sent a chill down his spine.

Unfazed by their intimidating presence, Shirou traced several black keys, his movements swift and precise as he prepared himself for the impending confrontation. "You're really quite something, acting like a coward, hiding yourselves," he called out, his voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through his veins, and his circuits working on overdrive.

As the tigers launched themselves towards him, Shirou braced himself for the attack, his muscles tensed and ready to defend. But to his shock, he suddenly found himself unable to move, his body paralyzed by some unseen force. Panic surged through him as he struggled against his invisible restraints, but to no avail, no matter how much mana he poured into circuits he could not dismiss the force restraining him.

Before he could react, one of the tigers lunged forward, its razor-sharp teeth sinking into his left hand with a sickening crunch before ripping it out of their sockets. Agony shot through him like a bolt of lightning, and he clenched his teeth to stifle a cry of pain.

Realizing that he was at a distinct disadvantage, Shirou attempted to reason with his unseen assailant, his voice strained with effort, but his eyes held a cold Fury. "Why are you doing this?" he demanded, his words echoing in the silence of the room.

For a moment, there was only the sound of the tigers' growls, filling the air with a sense of impending doom. Then, finally, a voice spoke, its tone dripping with contempt.

"I'm not an idiot to show myself, especially to you," the voice sneered, its words making Shirou furrow his brows. "But since you're going to die anyway, there's no harm in talking to you."

Shirou's brow furrowed with confusion as he struggled to comprehend the voice's cryptic words. "What do you mean?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The voice scoffed, its tone filled with derision. "I'm not gonna act like those third-rate villains in a manga – talking before unexpectedly letting their opponent win. But unlike them, you're actually going to die."

With a dismissive wave of its hand, the voice ordered the tigers to attack Shirou, who could only watch helplessly as they closed in on him, their fangs gleaming in the dim light of the room.

As the tigers lunged forward, Shirou could only resign himself to his fate, knowing that his luck had finally run out. And then his head was gone, chomped by one of the Sabertooth, the other two gnawing at his body and legs.

After Shirou's lifeless body lay still on the ground, a figure emerged from the shadows, his presence oozing with malice. With a smirk playing on his lips, he approached Shirou's corpse, his movements calculated and deliberate.

Poking the air as if manipulating some unseen interface, the man's smile slowly twisted into an expression of annoyance. He muttered curses under his breath, his frustration evident as he lamented his lack of useful skills.

"Reinforcement, projection, exorcism... utterly useless," he spat, his tone dripping with disdain. With a derisive snort, he turned to step on Shirou's body, his foot pressing down with a sense of finality.

"Trash really is trash, no matter the timeline," he sneered, his words laced with condescension as he surveyed the scene before him.

"I guess, I'll go fuck with Yun Che after the next cool down."

As he walked away, the tigers disappeared into the darkness, their forms dissipating like smoke. With a dismissive wave of his hand, the man faded into the night, leaving behind only silence and emptiness.

As midnight approached, Shirou's mangled body began to tremble, a faint blue glow enveloping him as he was slowly drawn into some kind of otherworldly distortion. With a flash of light, he disappeared from the room, leaving no trace behind. The silence that followed was deafening, as if no one had ever set foot in the space.

...waa~h... did he die too easily? I think it's fine though, considering he was more leveled up and has access to cultivation world or something. well, tell me your thoughts. guess which world, Kotomine's body got sent to, and what was that that took him. ( • ‿・)

as for the Rupture: should I indicate the world? cause I think I've done indicate the POVs on which Shirou.

idk, what you other guys think?

... there's too little action! fuck! I wanna write some actions, but can't really see the right timing! I'll see if I could incorporate action next chapter.
