The next morning Leo and Nico woke up side-by-side entangled in the other's arms. They spent the first thirty minutes just peacefully with each other. They then decided that they would go to the dining pavilion together and not announce their relationship, but they wouldn't deny it either. Then the plans for the rest of their day consisted of getting them both properly moved into their new home.

"i'm scared of Will finding out." Nico said quietly. "I still love him, and I think I always will. And I don't want to hurt him. And I don't want to hurt you either. I want us to be together and I want to be out in the open with you, but I'm scared if we do, I'll just be breaking his heart all over again." Nico looked on the verge of tears.

"Nico, I know you still love him and that's okay. I still love Calypso. Moving on is hard but it doesn't mean you stop loving the person you spent years with. You guys dated for what? 4 years? And Calypso and I were together for 5. It is okay to still have feelings. They were so important to us for so long. I can't even imagine how hard it will be for you because you guys ended on good terms. But we will do it together. You will never have to do anything alone again. Okay?"

Nico was almost crying, the fear in his voice ebbed away, "Thank you Leo. You can't even begin to imagine how important those words are to me. I have dealt with so much on my own and when Will and I broke up I never thought I would find something good ever again. I just expected to be alone forever. I am so happy even though it hasn't even been that long. I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. Even if it's only for a moment."

"Of course, mi amor. The future isn't promised but I will be by your side as long as I have you." Suddenly Leo knew that he was helplessly in love with this Prince of Darkness. And he knew that he would never let him go.

They cuddled on the couch for a little while longer, soaking each other in. Leo broke the silence, "We should really get up if we want to eat something edible. All I can make are burritos, but I seem to have emptied the fridge."

Nico sighed, "Okaaaayyyy. But I am only going because I'm starving." As they were getting ready and about to walk out of the door Nico asked, "Can we stop at the Apollo Cabin before we go to the pavilion?" He was nervous to ask.

"I mean yeah but why?" Leo questioned. He was pretty sure he knew the answer and that made him a little anxious. He knew Nico would never try to hurt him but what if him talking to Will made him want to go back? What if he left just like Calypso did. Ugh he knew better than to spiral like this, but he was giving Nico a piece of him, and he was scared of being abandoned again. When Calypso returned to her immortal life, she had promised not to have relations with demigods ever again which of course meant leaving Leo behind as well. He knew it was what was best for her, she had been struggling even more recently than when she first became mortal. But her choice sent him into pure agony and despair. He spent the first two months at Camp Jupiter with Jason just trying to forget her. But he couldn't handle the pity stares anymore so he went to the one place he knew he could be alone. Bunker 9. And it wasn't until Nico showed up outside of the door that he was pulled out of his own mind. Nico was helping him heal. And he couldn't stomach the thought of losing him too.

"I just want to talk to Will." Leo's stomach turned and his heart dropped, "We didn't leave on bad terms, and I feel like he deserves to know before we show up holding hands. I know I would feel blindsided if he did that."

"I don't want to start off sounding like a jealous boyfriend but..." Leo hesitated, "I'm scared, Nico. I want us and I'm scared you'll go back to him..."

"Oh, Leo. I swear on the river Styx that I will not abandon this relationship just as its begun. And as much as I love Will, I know that we are over and I am okay with that. We both knew we should have ended it before we did. I am happier as his friend and your boyfriend." Nico smiled and Leo felt 10 times better knowing Nico cared enough to swear by the river Styx.

"Okay, Mi amor. Let's go talk to your ex." Leo laughed.

The two of them continued out of the bunker and walked towards the Apollo Cabin. As they grew closer the distinct smell of isopropyl alcohol suffocated their noses. Nico took the first step towards the cabin door and Leo held back a little. When Nico knocked Leo half suspected a ray of sunshine to burst from behind the door. But it was just one of the campers, Shawn.

"Hi Nico. Will is in the infirmary with Mary. She just found out Ares is her dad and thought that that meant she would beat the older kids." They all laughed a little. Mary was new to camp, and she definitely had a lot to learn.

Shawn led Nico and Leo to the infirmary where Will was at. Will turned at the sound of footsteps to greet his guests, "Hell- Oh hi Nico." he sounded a bit flustered to see him, he barely noticed Leo was there. "And hi Leo. What can I help you out with? Was somebody already hurt? Breakfast just started." Will sighed.

"No, no, no. Nothing like that. I just wanted to talk to you about something. Do you have a minute?" Nico was almost whispering he was talking so quietly.

"Yeah, just give me a second to change Mary's bandages." Nico and Leo stepped into the other room and waited for Will to be done.

"What's up? You are kind of scaring me." Will laughed nervously.

"Well, I know it's only been about 6 months since we broke up and I will always love you and cherish the relationship we had. But... I think that I may have moved on somehow. It happened fast and slow all at the same time. But I didn't want to blindside you at all. Because I have a boyfriend now. I wanted you to know before anyone else. Are you mad?"

"Oh Nico, I will never ever be mad at you because you are happy. I love you so much and I want you to have the best life. We are so young still and I know that you will live such a long and fulfilling life. So as long as you are happy and getting the love you deserve, I am happy for you. I really am." Will was smiling at Nico and couldn't resist the urge to hug him. "So, who is this lucky man that gets the honor of being your boyfriend?" Will looked between Nico and Leo and it dawned on him that Leo was more than moral support, "Leo? I didn't even know you liked men! That is so exciting you guys!"

Leo and Nico giggled at Will's perplexed face. "I didn't either. But I am happy that I do because in these last few weeks Nico has been a true light. And even if this is only a moment in our lives, I am so glad that I got to experience it." Leo was smiling brightly at a blushing Nico.

"Don't hurt him, Leo. You may be his boyfriend now, but he is my friend, and I will continue to protect him." Will stared intensely at Leo the started laughing. "Okay let's go get some food before the Aries table gets it all."

The three of them walked to the pavilion together, Nico and Leo hand-in-hand. They could feel the stares, but nothing could dampen their moods. And Nico made it a point to sit at the Hades table with Leo at his side.
