The buildings were gray, the food was gray, even the people were gray, and Barney Calhoun had never hated his life and the Combine so much. In which Barney reflects on his new role as a metrocop.

The one in the suit is fed up with his employers. After preserving Gordon Freeman and his friends, leading them to build the resistance against the Combine, Gordon is sent to City 17 at the most oppertune time. The idea of respite is intcing for the one in the suit, however it's intentions have been skewed because of his employers, leaving it with a target on their head.
