Chapter 14 New life

I don't own Kamen Rider Fourze or Ben 10.

Xylene was at the house looking outside a window, she then sees Ren going out with Ben and his friends, he then looks at her and waves with a big smile making her wave back.

He then walks away with them before she goes outside the backyard and sits next to a tree.

"Ship."she looks to the side to see Ship.

"Oh it's you."Xylene said.

"Hello."she looks to the other side to see Julie."So need some time alone."

"Yes."Xylene said.

"Well does it have to do about you coming back to Ren?"Julie asked.

Xylene sighs and said:"Let me tell you something about my race, when our newborns hatch they are left to fend for themselves."

"So that must have been a lonely childhood."Julie said.

"Very, the way I had Ren was nothing like how my race did, it he was born the same way as a human, even after he was born I still stayed at the house because my ship wasn't fixed, I thought for sure Ren would have be on his own but he always went towards me."Xylene said.

"That's how human babies react, your his mother so he wanted to be close to you, the first sound they hear that's most important to them is always heart of they're mother."Julie said.

Xylene holds her chest and said:"I see, I felt these emotions the more I spent time with him, these feelings of being happy with a family, when I was ready to leave part of me wanted to see Ren one last time before I left, but my mind always said they would be fine without me, I wanted Ren to be at his home."

"Well that's not what Ren wanted if you saw his memories."Julie said and Xylene looks at her."Ren told me what happened after his father died, he never broke his promisse."That surprised Xylene.

Flashback

"When he was young he always tried to find you no matter what, even after many said that you were either dead or that you abandoned his family."

"Mommy will come back!"Ren yelled out.

He was at his house in his room, he was looking through a telescope to look at the stars to find where his mother's ship is, he has many maps of space and even many devices he made that sometimes blew up so that he could try to track her.

"Mommy, I'm here, I'll wait for you no matter what."He said with a few tears coming out of his eyes.

Flashback ends.

"Even after he went to this city, he still kept his promisse by looking through the rabbit hatch so he could find you."Julie said with Xylene having tears coming out of her eyes."Maybe because he was alone that he kept doing it when he was a kid, in the hopes that your ship will come and for you to spirit him away to space and give him the family that he always wanted."

"Ren."Xylene then wipes the tears off of her face."I should have just quited the job when I had the chance, he just wanted me to come back for him."

"But you still have a chance, your here and he still wants that family he always wanted."Julie smiled.

Xylene nodded and said:"You know, I still remember one time with Ren as a baby, when I was confused why he always came to me even when his father is the one that took care of him, I picked him up and he touched my face making me feel a warm feeling inside, that made me so happy."

She then got up and went back to the house with Julie picking up Ship to watch her leave.

Xylene was inside a guest room and opens up a box that she had from her ship, she then takes out a picture of her and Max together when he was young.

Max was walking by and he looks at the window and sees Xylene with that old picture with her back turned at him, he smiles at that but then she rips it into pieces making him shocked so he goes away with a sad look.

She then throws the pieces in the trash and takes out another picture that made her smile, it was of her time with Tsubasa with her holding Ren as a baby, she then looks at a empty frame and puts the photo inside it.

She then takes out a id mask she kept away for a long time, she then puts it on and looks at a mirror, she was now a normal human with medium blonde hair and purple eyes, she then fixes her hair, she then takes out a red dress that Tsubasa bought her a long time ago and she puts it in front of her looking at the mirror.

She then remembers the time when he took her dancing when she was using her ID mask to hide among the humans, she was smiling with him as they danced together in a party.

She smiles at the memory before she put it away, she then uses has mask to make her wear a red shirt and jeans, she then goes down stairs and Julie saw her.

"Wow, Xylene you look.."Julie said.

"A Human?"Xylene said and she nodded."Well I used this form a lot when I was with Tsubasa, I only was in my true form at home."

Ren came in and saw Xylene."Hey who is she?"

"Ren, it's me."Xylene smiled.

"Mom!"he got surprised."Wow, is that a ID mask?"

"Yes, I had one a long time to disguise among humans, it's when I was out of the house I used it, I was thinking maybe we can spend some time together."she said.

Ren got stunned and Julie said:"Go on, have some fun."

Ren nodded and he goes with his mother outside.

They went around the city and he was showing her around, they then went to the park and Xylene sits at a bench while Ren gets ice cream, he gives one to her.

"Oh I remember this, it's that frozen treat you father always bought for me."she said.

"It's ice cream."Ren said.

She then takes a bite and said:"Brings back some good memories, I actually tried to give you one, but your father said you couldn't because you didn't have teeth yet."

Ren chuckles a bit and said."Yeah, dad was always very protective of me."

"Yes, Ren I'm sorry for not being there."she was sad.

"Don't worry, your here and that is all that matters."He gives her a big smile.

She smiles at him and they went ahead on they're walk, they were close at Ben's house and they saw him and Gwen there at the entrance coming in.

"Oh hey Ren."Ben said and he saw Xylene in her human form."Who is that?"

"It's my mom."Ren said surprising them.

"Oh, it's a ID mask."Gwen said and she checked her life force."Yup it's Xylene."

"Yes, now what are you two doing?"she asked.

"This is my house, Gwen's parents came to visit."Ben said.

Ben's mom opened the door and she saw Ren and Xylene."Oh Ben are these your friends?"

"Yes, that's Ren and his mother."Ben said.

"Well how about they come in, I can make some tea."she said.

"Well I don't mind."Xylene said.

They went in and Xylene sits at the couch, Gwen and Ben's parents were there a the living room and Sandra gave Xylene a cup.

"You must be Ren's mother, we heard about him from Gwen and Ben."Natalie said.

"Yes, my name is... Lila."Xylene said giving them the name she used when she was with Tusbasa in disguise.

"Well Lila, it's nice meeting you."Carl said.

"Yes, I heard that Ren is living with Julie."Sandra said.

"Yes, all I can say is that I had a important job and my husband passed away before I could come back."she said with a sad look.

"I'm sorry for your loss."Natalie said.

Ren, Gwen and Ben watches the parents and Ben said."Unreal, she's like a different person."

"Well people can change Ben."Gwen said.

"Yeah, she really wants to be there for me."Ren said with a smile.

Then Max came inside of the house making Xylene worried, he looks at her and said:"Carl, Frank who is this?"

"Oh this Lila Kurosaki, she's the mother of Gwen and Ben's friend."Frank said poiting at Ren.

Max got surprised and said:"Xylene!"

She grunted getting up."Thanks a lot."she then takes off the mask surprising them.

"Wait, so Ren's mother is an alien."Frank said.

"Well that's interesting, his family not that different from ours."Natalie said.

"Why did you tell my real name."She said.

"Xylene they know about Aliens."Max said.

"It doens't give you a right, I wanted to tell them when I was ready."Xylene said.

"But why wear a ID mask, when we met you didn't care about it."Max said.

"Wait, that's the woman that Dad met before mom."Carl got surprised along with his brother.

"You thought that I would be able to walk around like how I look, I wore this to protect Tsubasa and Ren, why can't you leave me be."Xylene said.

"Xylene, I'm sorry, I should have been more worried about your feelings, but I love Verdona."Max said.

"What does that have anything to do anymore, I never wanted you back!"She yells at him.

"Oh no."Sandra said.

"Mom."Ren said worried about her.

"If you really cared that much about her why did you kiss me 5 years ago?!"She yells at his face making them gasp.

"Dad, you cheated on mom."Carl said.

"I was in the wrong there, my feelings got too attached back then."Max said."But Xylene I'm sure we can talk."

"Talk what, you think I still care about you after all that happened, when that so called love I had with you was nothing more than a fling!"that made Max gasp at what she said."What we had was nothing compared to the love Tsubasa gave me, listen to me very well, leave me alone, I'm only here for my son."She then puts on the mask again and looks at the parents."Sorry for what happened."

"It's alright, maybe we can meet each other again in better terms."Sandra said and they nodded.

She nods before looking at Ren."Ren let's go home."

"Alright mom."he said and they exited the house.

Carl and Frank looked at Max with a frown.

"I don't believe you dad, even when you thought mom was alive you still cheated on her with a past girlfriend."Carl said.

"Your mom went away, plus Xylene at that time brought some of those memories back."Max said.

"That is no excuse, you need to look at a mirror and think about what you did, we won't tell mom, but you have to think what's more important."Frank said and Max looks down in shame.

Ren and Xylene were back at the rabbit hatch and he was showing her the telescope he used."This was the exact same telescope that I used so that i could try and find your ship."

"That would never found me, my ship can travel several lightspeed ahead."Xylene said.

"I know, but I wanted to be there when you came back and run outside to see you."Ren said.

Xylene smiles since he wanted to run up to her arms when she came back to him, she feels bad a bit since that moment he wanted couldn't come a reality but she was happy that she came back to him.

Note:Heres the third of Xylene's choice of forgetting about Max completly and instead focus on being a good mother to Ren for both her and Tsubasa, now I want to say I don't hate Max it's just I wanted that scene to be explored more since he cheated on his wife when he kissed Xylene so there has to be some consequences about that.
