I don't own Oshi no Ko

One year has passed since then. We've grown to the point where it is no longer suspicious for us to walk around or talk. And my sister…

"Mama! Mama!" Ruby's infectious laughter filled the room as she darted towards Ai. Her excitement was palpable as she flung herself onto the couch, nestling her face into Ai's denim-clad thighs. "Pat me!"

Ai couldn't help but smile. Her hand gently caressed Ruby's head as she cooed, "Pat, Pat~"

Ruby's eyes closed in bliss, she uttered a phrase so profound she surprised Ai "Pure Land of Perfect Bliss." she murmured, savoring the sensation

Ai's curiosity piqued, and her eyes narrowed. "Where did you learn such a difficult phrase?" She inquired, a hint of suspicion creepin in. "Wait, could it be that you…"

The triplets couldn't help but flinch, beads of sweat forming on Ruby's forehead.

Ai raised a finger to her chin, contemplating the situation. " Are you some kind of super genius?"

Aqua breathed a sigh of relief as Ai continued to pat Ruby.

"Must be genetic!" Ai playfully added, eliciting giggles from Ruby.

Ai looks toward Aqua and beckons him to her. "Come here Aqua I wanna pat you too."

Aqua looks to her contemplating his decision. He decides to walk towards her to receive his head pats. "Pat, Pat~" She cooed as Aqua blushed in embarrassment.

Well it's not so bad.

Ai looks around for her other son only to find him sitting down reading a magazine.

"Indy~ Don't think I forgot about you~" She cooed. He looks away from the magazine to look at her only to resume reading it. "Nah I'm good." he waves his hand

Ai pouts at her son, recently he's been getting more into those car magazines that Ichigo has gotten him. It seems he's more interested in the latest cars than the fact that his own Mom is a famous Idol and that kinda just ticks her off a bit.

She gets up and walks to her son and picks him up. "Hey! Ma what are you doing!" he cries out as she goes to sit on the couch with her son on her lap. "You've been paying too much attention to those magazines than your Mama."

"It's not like that, it's just I'm too old for that kind of stuff." he mutters. Honestly though being a 20 year old guy in a toddlers body kinda makes things a little embarrassing being coddled by his mother.

"That's nonsense, you're my baby boy and will forever be one to me." She then starts to coddle on the poor boy. "I want you to stay cute forever!" she declares.

"Ma! Stop you're embarrassing me" He says as he struggles to get out of her bear grip.

While Indy does feel embarrassed by her he can't help but smile subtly at her. I'll let her have it it's the least I can do, plus it's nice having a mom again.

As he thinks that he frowns thinking about his old life makes him homesick wondering what happened to his family. His thoughts are interrupted by Ruby's cries for attention.

"Mama! I want pats too." Indy looks at her then just pats her head instead of Ai.

"No! Not you I want Mama's head pats." she cries out to him. He gives her a teasing smile. "What don't like my headpats." she just pouts at that

As they argue Aqua looks at the three and smiles. Even when they argue they still care about each other. We really are a unique kind of family…

From model to radio assistant… Ai steadily picked up more gigs, and today she has a job that could be said to be the crystallization of all that work.

Inside the confines of a sleek gray SUV, Miyako took the driver's seat with Indy securely fastened into a children's booster seat beside her. In the backseats, the trio of passengers found themselves seated, with Ai nestled between her two children.

Ruby's eyes filled with excitement, leaned affectionately into Ai's side. "Mama, your first TV drama- How exciting!"

Ai, the humble soul that she is, downplayed her role with a smile. "It's only a minor part though."

Miyako's attention momentarily diverts from the road, glancing at the pair through the rearview mirror, her expression marked with a stern frown. "Now, listen here, you three." She began, her voice firm. "You insisted on coming along, so I brought you, but I want you to make absolutely sure not to call Ai-san 'Mama' on the set, okay? Remember that the story is that you're my kids."

Amid the gray interior of the SUV, Aqua's voice carried a hint of boredom as he lounged in the backseat, gazing out of the window. "Yeah, yeah. Mama, Mama, gimme some head pats."

Ai, always ready for some playful banter, threw her arms dramatically into the air. "Me too, Mama!"

Ruby joined in. "Mama, gimme my allowance."

Miyako's scowl deepened.

Indy, on the side, decides to put his say on the topic and makes an unexpected request. "Mama, can I have a car?

The contemplative pause that followed was broken by Miyako's say in the request. "A car? You're a little too young for that."

"No I'm not, I just wanna go see some of those cars like in this magazine." He pulls out the magazine he was reading earlier to show her and Miyako's eyes turn wide.

On the magazine was a sexy woman in a bikini sitting on the hood of a car that read 'Hot Imports Foe Life'. To say she was astonished was an understatement.

"Indy! Why do you even have that?! Gimme that!" She then grabs the magazine away from him. "Where did you even get this?" She exclaims

"Ichigo gave it to me, why?" he says innocently.

"Ichigo huh, well I'll have a talk with him later about this." Miyako says darkly. Looks like Ichigo sleeping on the couch tonight. Ai looks over to see. "Let me see." Miyako gives Ai the magazine to look she looks she blushes then looks darkly at Indy " You're banned from magazine's Indy."

"But Ma it's not like-."

"No buts, I won't have my baby boy look at ecchi content." she says as Indy looks down sadden that he lost the car magazine.

Miyako recovers from that situation. "Well now that all done, let's continue to the set." But before she can the car starts making noise and smoke rises in front of the car. "Oh no what now!" She stops the car and gets out opening the hood and smoke comes out. "Well that doesn't look good " She coughs, waving the smoke from her face.

Indy looks from his seat already knowing the problem. "It looks like a coolant leak" Miyako is surprised by this "Dammit, hold on I'll call a tow."

Later they arrive at a mechanic shop where the five wait for one of the mechanics to inspect the SUV. "Oh god we're gonna be late to set." Miyako cries out as Ai comforts her. " There, there I dont think it's that bad, right?" She says still unsure of the situation.

Indy looks at the two then at the car with a thoughtful look. It should only be a leak. It's an easy fix if only I can but this small body prevents me from doing that.

As the mechanic finishes his inspection he looks at the two. "Whelp you're lucky you turned off the engine it could've been alot worse." Miyako looks at him in desperation. " Can it be fixed?"

"Well it can but there are other problems" He says scratching his head.

"What but I thought it was something like the coolant." she asks, surprised.

"There's that but there's also the tires that look like they need to be changed and the battery looks old and will run out of juice soon." To say the two women were devastated by the current events. "How much will it cost"

"Well for the replacements you're looking at 290,000 yen ($2,500) for all that." Miyako dies at that while Ai looks on sadly "That's a lot of money for all that. Can we even afford that?"

What they don't know is that the mechanic is lying to them about the problems so that he can scam them for more money and Indy wasn't having that.

Indy gets up and confronts the mechanic. "Whoa!, Whoa!, Whoa! Hold on something doesn't add up. This whole thing sounds like a sham!"

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me!" He points at the car, specifically the so-called 'problems'. "First off, the tire treads don't look worn yet." He goes and grabs a stool to help him look into the car bonnet. "You see this. This battery was bought last year. It still has another 2 years on it." Indy notes.

As Indy was explaining to the mechanic, a bulky older man was watching the whole time. Smoking his cigarette he blows out a puff of smoke as he looks at the young boy reprimanding his employee. "For a brat he knows his stuff saw and right through his lies. Never in my life have I seen this before… Interesting." The old guy mutters. "Welp time to stop this nonsense 'sigh' what a pain."

He walks over to the group to stop the whole commotion. "Alright that's enough, Junpei. What I tell you about scamming our customers, we don't do that here." He gives the now named mechanic a stern glare.

"Bu- But Boss.."

"No buts I'll take over from here, we'll have a talk about your customer service skills when I'm done, now scram." Junpei clicks his teeth and glares at Indy, the boy giving the same look to him as he walks away.

The Old man looks at the rest of the group and gives a bow. " I'm very sorry about him, he tends to do that from time to time."

Miyako grabs Indy and pulls him to her side. "No it's okay I should say the same for us, especially him" She says while holding Indy by his shoulders.

"But Miyako, he was gonna scam us for more money than needed."

The old guy waves his hands "No I would say the opposite, your boy sure knows his stuff." He crouches in front of Indy. " What's your name kid?"

"Indigo but you can call me an Indy old timer."

He laughs at that "I'm not that old kid, names Adachi how bout I fix your car up should only take half an hour."

"I'll be watching you pops" Indy sterns his glare as Adachi laughs. "Of course."

As Adachi goes to fix the car while Indy watches over him the two other siblings have a discussion. "Wow, to think he wasn't all boneheaded to begin with really saved us right there." Aqua notes. " Well he does like cars, it would only make sense" Ruby adds.

Ai was actually happy that her son had so much knowledge about cars. "My son is so smart who knew he was so car savvy. Maybe I was wrong about him reading all those magazines." she contemplates.

Later…

"All right she's good to go." Adachi says as he wipes sweat from his forehead. The group cheers as they can finally go to the movie set.

Miyako walks to Adachi to ask about the money but he holds his hand up. " Don't worry about the cost, it's free of charge. Lets say its more our fault then anything"

"Oh! Well thank you, you're too kind." Miyako smiles.

"Yes thank you, you're too kind."

"Of course What kind of guy would I be if I charged for beautiful women like yourselfs."

Pervert Old Man they all thought.

But if I may, I can get an autograph from you miss." Adachi asks, pointing at Ai. "Oh, are you a fan of mine?"

"No, but my niece does, has a whole collection of your stuff in her room." He explains. She agrees and writes an autograph for him to take. "Thank you" He tips his hat to her.

"We should get moving before we're late." Miyako states as she looks at the time.

As they get in the SUV Adachi calls out to them specifically Indy. "Hey kid, if you ever think about being a mechanic one day come by here. I'll take you under my wing and show you how to really tune up these cars."

Indy looks back at him "I'll think about it pops"

They all buckle up and hit the road finally going to the set.

Miyako maneuvered the car into a parking lot, their journey had reached its destination with spared time. Ruby couldn't contain her excitement, immediately opening the car door and leaping out once Miyako parked. "Yay! I can't believe we're finally going to see Mama act! I can't wait!"

"Don't trip." Aqua climbs out of the car, with Ai following closely behind. Indy gets out, taking in the sight before them. Indy's curiosity gets the best of him as he inquired. "Is this a studio? Or did they rent out the building?"

Miyako led the way to the entrance of the building, unlocking the double doors with a key. She motioned for Ai and the children to enter. "It's rented. They're able to use it every weekend until they finish filming."

Ruby tilted her head and admired the educational and motivational posters lining the hallway. "How come?"

"It's a cram school. Normally, it would only be available on Sundays, but the agency paid a bit extra to have it for Saturday too." Miyako explained, closing and locking the door behind her.

Aqua raised an eyebrow at this revelation. "They can do that?"

Miyako chucked, though her tone was devoid of humor. "With enough money, you can do anything."

Aqua sighed, observing Ruby's infectious excitement as she ran ahead, enthusiastically exploring every corner of the set. He couldn't help but think about the power of wealth in this industry.

Indy walking by Ai with his hands behind his head looks towards Ai. "Hey Ma what's on your mind, you're more quiet than usual, you nervous or something?"

Ai looked down at her son, wearing a sheepish smile. "Hmm? Oh sorry, I'm just thinking about my game plan."

Indy raised an eyebrow at her. "Game plan?"

Ai nodded, explaining her strategy with enthusiasm. "Yep. I need to think about how I'll stand out today. Up on stage, I need to look cute for everyone, no matter what angle they view me from. But here, it's only a single person…" She framed her fingers into a square, visualizing her concept. "I just need the camera to think I'm cute. If the same tricks I use for music videos will work, it's right in my wheelhouse."

Miyako's brief pause hinted at her surprise at Ai's creative approach. That's… a surprisingly good idea." She admitted.

"I don't really get it?" Indy admits scratching his head.

Ruby took Indy's comment in a different light and narrowed her eyes, her fingers twitching ominously. "What do you mean it's as clear as day, you're just too hard headed to these kinds of things."

Indy just looks at her with a glare. " I'm not dumb it just doesn't make any sense to me is all."

"No, you just got too much oil in that head of yours Grease monkey." she argues back.

He grinds his teeth, as they continue arguing to each other while Ai tries to get them to stop.

Aqua, observing the dynamics between his siblings, couldn't help but shake his head in mild disappointment. He was well aware of Ruby's penchant for saying rude things just to provoke Indy while he adds wood to her flames, sometimes his siblings were too much. Though thinking about it while Indy may not know certain things or seems oblivious to them he does have a great knowledge in cars and mechanics. Makes him wonder if he was one in his past life, maybe one day he can reveal what his life was like.

The group came to a halt in front of a sliding door, and through the windows, they could catch a glimpse of various staff members and actors bustling around. Some were diligently preparing the set and their equipment, while others engaged in casual conversations with their colleagues. The small classroom had been transformed into a bustling hub of activity, with cameras strategically positioned in the corners.

With a confident stride, Ai slid open the door, immediately drawing the attention of those inside the classroom. She took a step forward and offered a polite bow. "Hello, I'm Ai, from Strawberry Productions. I'm looking forward to working with you today."

The studio members responded in unison, returning her greeting with enthusiasm.

A middle-aged man with long disheveled brown hair, engrossed in some papers, finally shifted his focus to Ai. He approached her until he was merely a foot away, leaning in so that their faces were only inches apart.

Ai couldn't help but sweat nervously. "Is something the matter, Director?"

The Director's voice dropped low, his gaze locked onto Ai's starry pupils. "No." He replied in a hushed tone. "Nothing in particular."

Off to the side, Ruby inched closer to her older brother. "Kinda scary, isn't he?"

Aqua whispered back in agreement. "Yeah, that face of his."

Indy adds his own comment to them. "He kind of looks like a bum doesn't he?"

The Director's expression darkened. "Hm? Whose kids are these?" Two out of the three flinched, and Miyako stepped in quickly. "Oh they're my kids."

The Director's expression darkened. "The idea of a manager bringing her kids to the set…"

The two siblings and Miyako trembled at his stern tone. However, a moment later, the Director seemed to have a sudden realization. "Is this one of those work-style reform things?"

"Eh?" Miyako responded puzzled.

The middle-aged man rubbed the back of his head. "Sign of the times, huh?" With a dismissive wave, he turned to walk away. "Well, some people even bring their dogs these days."

The two siblings, along with Miyako, breathed sighs of relief.

Indy scrunched his face at the interaction. "What a weirdo."

The room was abuzz with excitement as the staff members and actors took notice of Indy, Ruby, and Aqua, referring to them as triplets. Both Ruby and Aqua found themselves being pampered by the staff, seated on the laps of gorgeous women. They reveled in the attention, their cheeks blushing with satisfaction. Indy on the other hand was being coddled by a bunch of people, specifically the women.

"Aww look how cute he is."

"Right, look at his pouty face like he's mad at us, so adorable."

"I wanna pinch his cheeks."

Indy was not pleased with his situation. While he would like the attention of all these girls, he didn't want to be treated like a kid. It was honestly hurting his pride.

He looked at Miyako pleadingly. "Hey help me out here, I'm out numbered."

Miyako looked towards him then smiled. "Well now look at who's popular." She then looks away. " I think you'll be fine, consider this as punishment for the magazine."

"You Traitor!" He yells as succumbs to his demise.

The two siblings look at their troublesome brother with a mix of pity and joy at his problems. Y'know I would feel bad but honestly it's a little funny, I would've thought he liked this sort of pampering guess I was wrong. Maybe he only likes it when either Ai or Miyako does it.

Across from him, Ruby's chosen companion hugged the little girl a bit closer, cooing at her with affection.

"Ba-Buu! Ba-Buu!" Ruby chirped happily.

Aqua's eye twitched in response to Ruby's overly cute act.

"Aqua! You gotta help me bro I cant take anymore of this!" Aqua diverts his attention from his sister to Indy.

"Sorry Indy, my hands are a little preoccupied right now." He says as he gets up from the girl's lap and starts walking out the door. "Don't worry I have the utmost faith you can get out of this."

"No, Don't leave me man. Aqua, AQUAAAAAAAA!" Indy cries out to his brother as he succumbs to his Snu Snu.

Aqua stumbled out of the studio, feeling utterly drained. His little body had been pushed to its limits, trying to keep up with the hectic pace of a film shoot. He let out a tired sigh as he trudged down the corridor, each step feeling heavier than the last.

But just as he thought he could finally catch a break, a shadow suddenly loomed over him. Aqua's eyes shot open, and he jumped slightly when he saw the Director standing in front of him.

"Hm? Oh, you're that manager's kid." The Director remarked, narrowing his eyes at the toddler. "I don't mind you being here, but if you cry and interrupt the filming, I'll kick you out."

Aqua quickly waved his hands in a panic. "Oh, we'd never! Though we may be babies, we strive to not make any such blunders!"

He continued to bow repeatedly, hoping to make a good impression on the Director. The man's unexpected presence had caught him off guard, and he wanted to ensure there were no misunderstandings. "I am well aware that not hindering the production process is a baseline rule. Please show favor to our agency's Ai going forward."

As he says this a voice calls out behind him. "There you are, you bastard!"

The two look and see Indy looking at Aqua like he was ready to beat him up to a pulp. "You abandoned me man, what kind of guy does that!.

He walks to Aqua and grabs his head and starts to noogie his head. "Yeah that's right, feel my pain, you never leave a man behind like that!"

Look, it's not my-Ow! That actually hurts you moron!" Aqua says as he tries to fight back with him

As they fight the Director looks on curiosity seeing the two boys argue. He's even a bit amused at their dynamic as he leans down slightly, his disheveled brown hair framing his face. "Whoa you kids sure are talkative! Where'd you learned all those words?"

They both stop to look at the Director as aqua rubs his head.

"Uhh here and there on the internet…" Aqua admitted his voice tinged with a hint of embarrassment.

"Man, the Internet is amazing! Sign of the times, huh?!" The Director crouched down, his hands under Indy's tiny armpits as he lifted the toddler high into the air. Indy's wide eyes met the Director's as they hung face-to-face in mid air."

"I see a good number of precious child actors, but you guys are really something else." The Director remarked. "You do acting by any chance?"

Aqua turned his head to the side, a bit unsure. "No, acting and such isn't something I…"

Indy looks at him with a glare. " No, now put me down you old fart!"

"Oh, whoops my bad, here." The Director gently placed Indy back on the ground and crouched to the toddlers level.

"Well you guys would be interesting up on screen. I'd like to put you both in something. Here's my business card. Give me a call if you two sign up with an agency."

Aqua blinked, processing the unexpected offer. Then, with a thoughtful expression, he shook his head. "No, if you're going to hand out work, then give it to Ai rather than me." Indy nods along agreeing with him.

"Oh, that idol huh…She has an exceptional face. With some luck, she'll survive in the industry," The Director mused, his tone tinged with a hint of cynicism.

Indy arched an eyebrow, curious. "She needs luck even with her looks?"

The Director raised three fingers, directing their attention to the actresses and the crew going over the script. "Listen closely, kids. In this industry, there are three types of actors."

As the Director explained, the two boys watched the people on the set attentively, intrigued by the dynamics he was about to learn.

"One is the star actor. Their primary role is to attract an audience. They act as poster children, earning solid performance fees. Then there are those with real talent. Their job is to ensure the quality of the product on screen and maintain the programming block's brand."

The Director gestured for them to follow him to a window overlooking the set, where they could see everything unfold. "Lastly, you've got newcomer actors. Acting ability isn't really expected from them. Their goal is to bring a sense of freshness to the screen.

Aqua nodded in understanding while Indy was just kinda lost at the information.

"Investing in these newcomers is like planting seeds," The Director continued. "We hope that at least one of them will grow into a star. But it's a cutthroat world. They need to either draw in viewers or become well liked on set to stand a chance."

The Director closed his eyes, sighing deeply. "Those who survive are first-class at something."

Aqua smiled, feeling somewhat enlightened by this perspective. "Well, she'll be fine then. Ai is a first-class idol."

The Director shook his head. "No, even being a first-class idol wont cut it."

The Assistant Director walked over, briefly setting aside his script book to speak with his boss. "Director! We're all ready for the set test."

"Okay, I'll watch from here." The Director replied, raising his hand in confirmation. He moved to the door and leaned against the frame. The Assistant Director rushed back to the main camera, ensuring it focused on the snapping film board. "Ready, and…!" He stopped short, closing the board with a snap.

"What are you saying?" The main lead asked, tilting her head at Ai.

"Want me to ask Touma-kun for you?" Ai, confidant and poised, offered.

The main lead approached, a hint of pouting in her expression. "Hey! Don't even think about it!"

Ai's laughter filled the air, captivating everyone on set. The camera successfully captured her beauty, and her voice sounded like a melodious song.

"Her acting is average." The Director commented, crossing his arms thoughtfully. "But she really attracts your attention."

"Right? She mentioned that earlier." Aqua chimed in recalling their earlier conversation. "She thinks of it like a music video."

"She thinks of it like a music video." The Director repeated. "Sign of the times, huh?"

"I think I finally get what she means now." Indy says.

"Really how so?" Aqua looks at his brother wondering if he has figured out Ai's true talent.

"Well wouldn't you like to know that's a secret between me and Ai." Indy cheekily says smiling at his brother.

"There's no way someone like you can see the whole picture. Don't think I didn't see you looking confused about the importance of the actors." Aqua says as he looks at Indy with an unimpressed look.

" Don't get mad cause I figured it out before you." As they argue the Director told them to be silent as the filming was still ongoing but he couldn't help but chuckle at Indy's way of thinking. This kid, he's a little out there but I can't help but feel like he reminds me of someone...

Several days after filming had finished, when the moon was already in the night sky, the small family of four gathered in their living room. Ruby sat on Ai's lap, her legs kicking with excitement. Her two brothers took their places on either side of Ai. Ruby couldn't contain her anticipation as she stared at the TV screen.

"I can't wait to see your performance, Mama!" Ruby exclaimed, her eyes fixed on the screen.

Ai smiled, her hand gently patting Indy's head. "Well, they did film me quite a bit."

Aqua leaned forward, his expression pensive. He knew this was the moment they had all been waiting for.

"It's starting!" Ai cheered in excitement.

As the show's intro and opening scenes played out, Indy found himself feeling a bit bored. The drama seemed like a standard one, and he could already predict how it would likely end. But he kept his attention on the screen, hoping for something interesting to happen.

"Oh, this is the scene!" Ruby exclaimed, pointing at the screen and nearly slipping out of Ai's embrace. "It's Mama!"

In her schoolgirl uniform, Ai greeted the other characters on screen, and for a moment, both she and the lead actress appeared in the same frame. Aqua, however, was not satisfied.

"C'mon, give her a close-up!" He demanded.

As the minutes ticked by, both Ruby's and Aqua's excitement started to dwindle and Indy just fell asleep. The episode seemed to drag on, with only a single scene featuring Ai and seven minutes of commercials.

"What?! That's all?!" Ruby cried out in disappointment, her enthusiasm waning. "Just a bit of a single scene?!"

"What is it already over?" Indy asked, half asleep woken by his sister's cries.

Aqua couldn't hide his frustration as he jumped off the couch and dialed the director's number on his small smartphone. He walked away to another part of the house, determined to voice his concerns.

Ai couldn't help but feel a bit disheartened. "I wonder if my acting was bad…"

"Nah, it definitely wasn't." Indy reassured her. "You were pretty good from what I saw. It was probably some stingy executives or something."

At a bar, the Director, Taishi Gotanda, was enjoying a simple beer when his phone began to ring. He took it out of his pocket, took a nice, long sip of his beer, and then answered it.

"Yes?" Taishi said casually.

"Hey, Director, what's the big idea?!" A voice on the other end of the line exclaimed loudly.

"Oh, hey, precocious baby."

Aqua ignored the greeting and got straight to the point. "You didn't give Ai any screen time!"

"Yeah, about that..." Taishi sighed. "Her part came out great, so it's quite a shame."

"Well, why then?!" Aqua demanded.

"The lead actress's agency promotes her as 'a talented actress with the prettiest face. So how does it look when a girl with an even prettier face is sharing the screen?

It would be a problem for their image strategy, right?" Taishi explained.

Aqua frowned in frustration.

"Ai simply appeared too cute on the screen." Taishi continued, taking a drag of his cigarette. "And so, word came down from the top to cut her out as much as possible during editing."

"Good grief..." Aqua sighed, running his hand across his face.

"The screen time a performer receives tends to be decided by the power balance between companies, so just see it as an unexpected misfortune and accept it." Taishi advised, tapping his cigarette against an ashtray.

"I can't accept it." Aqua muttered.

Taishi inhaled the smoke and then exhaled with a sigh. "It's fine to dream of the entertainment industry, but it's best not to have illusions about it. This isn't a place for art, but rather for business." He said, putting out his cigarette. "But that said, I understand your point, and I feel bad about this. I hesitate to say 'in exchange,' but l'd like to offer Ai another job. For a film, that is. Can't complain about that, right?"

"Seriously?!" Aqua's eyes widened at the thought.

"On the condition that… you and your brother also appear in a film," Taishi added.

On the outskirts of a rural part of the city, there was a vast area of forestation that was being lended to Taishi's studio. There they had set up a production site for the film, with various tents already pitched and their equipment in the process of being unloaded. As it was still quite early in the day, Taishi had taken it upon himself to explain some of the finer details of the entertainment industry to Aqua and Indy.

"Listen up, precocious babies. In Japan, casting is for the most part decided upon by the higher-ups. The bigger the budget for a project, the less it can afford to flop. In order to secure actors who are sure to draw viewers, the higher-ups have their own battles to fight. The Directors with casting authority are the very select few super heavy weights, or those working on low budget small scale films."

Taishi smirks down at the toddler. "So which do I look like to you?"

"Um… super heavyweight-" Aqua answered.

"Single and alone." Indy added quickly.

"Swing and a miss!... Wait what?!" Taishi swings into a turn but quickly looks back at the kids, specifically Indy. He just looks to the side whistling like no one heard him.

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that," Taishi continues. "We're on the set of a low budget film here."

Aqua frowns, but before he could reply, Miyako approaches with sleeping Ruby in her arms. "Director, thank you for taking care of Aqua and Indy today."

Taishi turns his attention to her. "No, not at all. But, Indy will be going to another director friend of mine in the same area.

They all looked shocked at this. "Wait, so I'm not in your movie." Indy asked.

"Yup. The one I want is Aqua for this, you on the other hand will be in a samurai film playing the young version of the main character. Don't worry you're in good hands with Takashi-san. Just do what you think is right."

Indy just looks down thinking of his situation.

"In terms of acting I feel like my sister is probably better than me." Aqua speaks up, looking at Ruby who was drooling in her sleep.

"Nope, It's you I want. It's an exchange for your performance that I'm giving Ai a part." Taishi lightly smacked his rolled up script on Aqua's head. Much to his annoyance, and Indy's amusement. "In the industry we call this bartering. It's one of the fundamentals so keep it in mind." he says as he walks away.

"Bartering Ai for her own sons…" Miyako leans down slightly. "That stern-looking Director has taken quite a liking to you two. What in the world did you guys do to make this happen?"

"Nothing all that special… Old guys for some reason tend to enjoy it when young people have a casual attitude with them, so I don't act pompously toward him is all."

Miyako nods at him then looks at Indy sternly. "Indy, No messing around on set remember the Director vouched for you."

"Yeah, yeah I won't, this'll be a cinch" he says with his hands behind his head.

"Mama! Mama! I wanna go back to Mama!" Ruby was in the midst of throwing a tantrum on the floor. "Why isn't Mama here?"

"Because Ai doesn't film on the same days I do." Aqua explained, trying to pacify his sister.

"I wanna go home and snuggle up to Mama!" Ruby continued, kicking her feet and waving her arms. "I wanna be held to Mama's breast and pampered!"

"There, there.. you'll be fine the sooner we finish the sooner we can go home." Indy said as he pats Ruby's head to calm her down.

It works and she stops whining. "I guess you're right… Thanks, Indy."

"Of course, now chin up and I might find you a cool beetle to take home" He grins mischievously.

"Ew no I don't want that!"

Aqua sighed at their tomfoolery.

Suddenly, a small thud echoed in the room, capturing their attention. The triplets turned to find a young girl in a yellow sundress and sun hat. She held a rolled-up script in her hand, pointing it at them. "This is a professional worksite, you know!" She scolded. "If you came to play, head home right now!"

"And you are…?" Aqua asks the red headed girl

"Kana Arima. I'm an actress in the film," The little girl introduced herself confidently.

Oh!, Isn't she that girl…" Ruby exclaims as she tries to remember who she is.

Oh, Isn't she that one girl who clicks salt for a living." Indy answers as Ruby agree's. "Yup that's the one."

"No!, I'm the genius child actor who can cry in ten seconds flat!" Arima yells at the two blondes. "Everybody says the way I cry in dramas is amazing. Because it is amazing!

"How can crying be a talent, I can just pinch Aqua real hard and he'll start bawling," Indy says as he tries to pinch Aqua but gets his hand slapped by him.

"Please don't"

Ruby's expression turned flat. "You know, I don't really like this girl. Like, she seems fake, and I have an instinctive distaste for her."

Aqua couldn't help but chuckle at his sister's frankness. "There are some people who are unusually hard on child actors…Like you, for example."

Kana was undeterred by Ruby's bluntness. "I know about you! You're that kid who had an in." She accused. "Back when we did the script reading, you and that idol weren't even part of the story. Even Mama said the Director forced it through! That's simply not acceptable, okay!?"

Aqua attempted to defend himself. "Well, that's not really-"

But Kana continued. "I watched the drama the Director shot recently, and that idol hardly had any screen time at all."

The gasps of anger that escaped in the triplets were audible.

Kana kept going, seemingly unaware of the shock she was causing. "Seems the one thing she's good at is buttering people up!" she says as she walks away.

"Oi girly!" a voice called out to her as she looked behind. "Hmm?... Ehhh!"

She looked only to see Indy giving her a Mad-dog face that scared the daylights out of her. "I think you need to learn some manners, you bratty girl." He says grinding his teeth.

Ruby and Aqua see this thinking their brother might actually hurt the girl so they move in to stop him.

"Don't worry, I'm just gonna give you a lil pinch to see if you can really cry in 10 seconds flat."

As Indy walks over to her with a murderous aura as Kana pleads with him. "W-What are you doing?... Stay back! AAAHHHHHHH!" She gets so scared of this boy, that she ends up fainting on the floor.

"Whoops… didn't mean to go that far" As Indy crouches by her and pokes her head.

The two siblings sigh in relief as they look at Indy.

"I honestly thought you were gonna hurt her." Aqua says concerned over the passed out girl.

"Nah, I was just scaring her is all." Indy scratched his head, a sheepish grin forming. "My bad, huh?"

"Well I think she deserves it for insulting Mama." Ruby crosses her arms narrowing her eyes at the unconscious girl.

"Well I think it's time we should get going to the set. Don't wanna be late." Aqua explains

"Oh right, well see you guys later gotta change into costumes. See ya later." Indy heads out to change and proceed to his own set film.

Indy arrives at the other set, going to meet Taishi's director friend. He's dressed up in a tattered Kimono and geta sandals. He looks around the bustling set and all the buildings are built like they were in the Edo period of Japan.. Crew members scurried about, adjusting props that looked like they had just emerged from a history book. Seeing as he is lost he asks one of the crew members for directions.

"Excuse me!" Indy called to a nearby crew member, his voice barely rising above the clamor. "Can you tell me where to find the director?"

The crew member glanced at Indy, then pointed down a path lined with cherry blossom trees. "Over there. But good luck—he's in one of his moods!"

Indy nodded apprehensively and made his way through the maze of old samurai armor and tea sets. As he approached, he heard a voice booming like thunder.

The man in question looked in his 30s, he was tanned and was wearing only a tank top and jeans. He looked buff, his pecs begging to rip out of his tank top. But what was the most questionable thing was the Leopard wrestling mask he was wearing. He was yelling order's at his crew members pointing in different directions.

"You! Get those lights working!, Make sure those cameras are clean and ready!, and Where the hell is my damn beer at! Y'know I can't film shit if I ain't drunk!"

"But sir, you can't drink on the job, it's unprofessio-"

"Did I ask for your opinion, you Moron! Hurry up, before I suplex the shit out of you!" He yells at the crew member.

"R-Right away sir!"

Indy looked confused and amused at the man's personality. What kind of Director did Taishi send him to. "Ugh, why am I here?" Indy sighed, running a hand through his hair. He took a deep breath and approached the man, determined to introduce himself.

"Uhh…Are you Taksa-" He proceeds to say but gets cut off by said man.

"You! You're that kid actor that damn Taishi sent me. What's your name?"

Umm… Indy-"

It doesn't matter! What I need is some good acting kid. Have you acted before, kid?!" Takashi screams as he looks at him face to face.

"Not really"

"Can you fight!?"

"I guess… why?"

"Look, kid acting is like wrestling. When people see wrestling they think the guys are getting hurt, but in actuality it's all fake but they make it look real. Entertainment 101 remember it!" Takashi says as Indy looks at him confused at his statement. Seriously Taishi what the hell you drag me into?

"Anyway we got on a scene playin the main character's childhood. In short, you're a nobody guy in poverty that meets his lifelong sworn brother and decides to become the shogun that unifies japan. Just a few scenes, nothing too bad."

"Oh, like Oda Nobunga right?"

"Ehhh, not really, more like an alternate history kind of thing, don't sweat the details kid just follow the script and you'll be fine. Also, you're gonna be working with another child actor of mine. Let me call him real quick." Takashi says getting up and taking a deep breath.

"HEY! HAYATO! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" He yells in the air and soon enough a boy comes over. He looked to be the same age as Indy, he had short black hair and a little scar under his eye he was dressed up in the same looking kimono as Indy. The boy looked pissed as he came over picking at his ears.

"I can hear you. You don't gotta yell like an asshole." The boy named Hayato sneers.

"That's besides the point, you're gonna be workin with blondie here on the scene! So introduce yourself or whatever you kids do these days. We'll get started as soon as I get my beer. WHERE'S MY DAMN BEER I ASKED AN HOUR AGO YOU SHITS!" Takashi walks away in the pursuit of his beverage leaving the two boys alone.

Indy just looks at the boy confusingly. "Is he always like that?"

"I guess, it's my first time working with him, names Hayato Nakamura, but just call me Hayato." He holds his hand out.

"Indy, nice to meet another kid my age here."

"So what brings you on this set?"

"Well… let's say I'm here on an agreement between our agency to help get their Idol more work. Honestly, I'm kinda regretting my decision to come here." Indy repents as he looks at the Director as he hears him yelling about his beer.

"Yeah…" Hayato says as he shrugs. "It's not so bad you get kinda used to it."

Indy looks at him and chuckles. "I guess you're right; I thought I was gonna do another film with this bratty girl."

"Bratty Girl?" Hayato asks.

"Yeah this Kana girl, honestly she's kinda…"

"Annoying," Hayato answers. "Yup thats the word, glad she's working with my brother"

Hayato nods in understanding. "Yeah, she kind of tends to do that, she pretty much ignored me when I tried talking to her.

"Girls are weird like that." Indy jokes as they laugh and continue talking about other topics. They had a lot in common with movies, games and even their love of cars. Soon enough Takashi comes back. Interrupting their conversation with a cold beer in his hand.

"ALRIGHT! Enough chit chat boys we got a movie to film everyone on set!"

Hayato looks at Indy. "Well looks like we're up I guess, good luck"

You too, let's ace this and go home" Indy says as they bump fist with each other.

Indy as Miyamoto

Hayato as Sasaki

Action!

Japan

1600s

The sun dipped low in the sky, casting long shadows across the dilapidated buildings of the village. Sasaki's heart raced as he sprinted, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The shouts of his pursuers echoed behind him, angry voices blending with the sound of pounding feet. "Get him!" one yelled, a menacing edge to his tone.

"Faster!" Sasaki urged himself, weaving between the crumbling walls and overturned baskets. He could almost taste freedom, but the scent of sweat and desperation filled the air. The villagers had long since turned their backs on him; they didn't care about a thief when their own plates were empty.

Suddenly, he turned a corner, and his heart sank. A brick wall loomed ahead, an unforgiving dead end. Sasaki skidded to a halt, panic clawing at his insides. He spun around, eyes wide, just as the pursuers rounded the corner, their faces twisted in fury.

"Caught you now!" one of them snarled, brandishing a stick.

Sasaki's back pressed against the wall, and he felt the weight of despair settle over him. Just as he braced for the worst, a flash of movement caught his eye. A boy, not much older than himself, appeared from the alleyway. He had wild hair that flared like a halo around his head, and his grin was wide, almost mischievous.

"Hey, over here!" the boy shouted, throwing a handful of rocks at Sasaki's pursuers. "Come and get me, morons!"

The bandits paused, confusion flickering across their faces. "What the—?" one of them muttered, turning to the new arrival.

Sasaki watched, both stunned and intrigued, as the mysterious boy danced away from the wall, leading the pursuers on a wild chase. "Come on! Follow me!" the boy called back, laughter bubbling from his lips like a spring.

With a burst of hope, Sasaki took the chance. He darted after the boy, his legs pumping as adrenaline surged through him. They zigzagged through the maze of alleyways, the sound of angry shouts fading behind them.

Finally, they broke through the last narrow passage and tumbled onto a grassy hill overlooking the village. Sasaki collapsed onto the ground, chest heaving. A few moments later, the boy plopped down beside him, still chuckling.

"Good we lost those guys," Miyamoto breathes out as he recovers from the chase.

"Who are you?" Sasaki gasped, wiping sweat from his brow. "Why did you save me?"

"Miyamoto," the boy replied, extending his hand, still grinning. "And because it looked like you needed saving! Plus, it was pretty funny, right?"

Sasaki blinked, still trying to catch his breath. "You just… felt like it?"

"Exactly!" Miyamoto laughed, the sound bright against the backdrop of the fading sun. "Life's too short to play it safe all the time."

"Crazy," Sasaki muttered, shaking his head. "You know they could have hurt you, right?"

Miyamoto shrugged, his gaze drifting to the village below. "Let them try. I've got bigger dreams than worrying about a few angry guys like that."

Sasaki followed his gaze, watching the clouds rising from the village, the weary faces of the villagers moving about their daily struggles. "What do you mean, bigger dreams?"

Miyamoto sat up straighter, his expression serious now. "I want to unify this land. End poverty. I want to become the next Shogun."

Sasaki's brow furrowed. "Shogun? You're just a kid!"

"Yeah, but someone has to do it!" Miyamoto insisted, passion igniting his voice. "Why not me?"

"Because it's impossible," Sasaki replied, his skepticism evident. "You can't just—"

"Why not?" Miyamoto interrupted, his eyes shining. "Someone has to take a stand! I may be just a kid, but if I don't try, who will?"

Sasaki looked at him, feeling a strange tug of admiration mixed with confusion. "You-u really think you can make a difference?"

"I don't think, I know I can.." Miyamoto grinned, a spark of determination in his eyes. "And I could use someone like you to help me."

Sasaki sat in silence, the weight of the boy's words settling over him like a blanket. "I don't know…"

"Come on!" Miyamoto nudged him playfully. "What do you say? Let's change the world!"

He gets up offering a hand to him. "Let's make a world where people's dreams have no end!"

With a deep breath, Sasaki felt his heart swell. This boy he just met spoke of dreams that were unrealistic but at the same time maybe, just maybe he can get behind this fool's dream. "Alright. I'll help you. Brother."

They both grab each other's forearms and held tightly as they look at each other determined.

And so, under the fading light of day, two boys forged a bond, unaware of the turbulent journey that lay ahead.

Scene End

After the scene the Crew and Director were quiet, and the boys thought that they messed up, but in actuality…

"YES! THAT'S WHAT I LIKE TO SEE!" Takashi yells, breaking the silence. The boys sigh in relief thinking that they messed up.

Hey, that was really good, you sure it's your first time acting?" Hayato asks, looking at Indy. "Yup honestly my mind went in auto mode and just went with the flow."

I was honestly kinda nervous." Hayato admitted. To be honest, you clearly got the knack for this kinda thing. I'm almost jealous." Hayato looked downtrodden to which Indy bonked his head.

"OW! Hey what'd ya do that for?!" Hayato asked angrily.

"For being dumb." Indy bluntly stated, but as Hayato was going to hit him. "If you let excuses like that get into your head you won't get better. Just tell it to shut up and do the best you can."

Hayato was surprised at that, all his life he has been berated by his father for not being up to his standards. His father being a high paying lawyer always criticized his likes and would never bond with him, always busy with work it was miserable. The only person who supported him was his mother. She would convince Hayato to always pursue his dreams despite his father's refusal. To think someone else would say that to him really meant alot to the boy, still though.

Hayato punched Indy in the shoulder playfully. "You know you could've just said that instead of hitting me right?" Indy rubbing his shoulder just smirks. "Yeah, but how else is it gonna get through that head of yours."

You dumbass." Hayato laughs, Indy soon joining him at their friendly bantering.

Before they could continue talking the Director came up to them. "Alright that was good boys take a quick break cause we still gotta do 20 more scenes. If we get to it soon we'll be done by the end of the day." He smiles

The two boys' jaws dropped at this. 20 more scenes! Is that even possible?. They both thought. Looks like it's gonna be a long day for them and all Indy could think was..

Fuck Me…

As the sun sets Miyako walks to the other set to pick up Indy from his shooting. Taishi got a call from his Director friend and told him he was done shooting and they could pick up Indy since they were done. As she walked through the set the crew members were packing their equipment getting ready to leave. She arrives to find Indy and another boy sitting on the grass looking real tired.

"Oh my, it looks like you went through a marathon Indy. What happened?.

Indy looks up to look at her eyes tired from the work he went through. "Oh Miyako, yeah… the Director put us through the grinder, I'm all out of fuel.

"You can say that again, I swear that Takashi did something else." Hayato says tiredly agreeing with him.

Miyako now notices the other boy. "And who might you be?

"I'm Hayato. I was co-starring with Indy here." he says. Miyako looks at the boy then at Indy. "You make friends quickly, I'll give you that."

"Well he was easy to get along with, better than that Tiger Director huh Hayato."

"Yup" He replies as the two boys laugh.

Just then, a woman called from a distance. "Hayato! It's time to go!"

With a sigh, Hayato pushed himself up, brushing off the grass from his pants. "It's my mom looks like I gotta go. See you later Indy!" He turned to Miyako, bowing slightly. "Hope we can do this again."

"Maybe on different terms." Indy says as he bumps fists with him. As the two boys shared a final wave, Miyako turned to Indy, who was attempting to stand up but failed.

"Here let me carry you." Miyako offered, watching him struggle.

"No I got- ah dammit." he muttered

Ignoring him, Miyako slipped her arms around him, lifting him up to her chest. "Here, just let me handle it, see you're not too heavy."

"Miyako you don't… Fine, only this once." He sighs giving up on his protest.

He blushes in embarrassment as she giggles at his flustered face and starts walking towards the car. As they walked Indy's voice softened. "Hey Miyako." She looked at Indu giving her full attention. "Thanks for taking care of me, Aqua, and Ruby… we dont show it but we appreciate all you do for us.

Miyako looks at him smiling. "It's nothing, just my job as your caretaker."

Indy continues muttering. "Nah, you're more than that. You're like… a second mom to me."

Miyako's heart swelled. She glanced down at him surprised, a smile breaking across her face. "You… really think so?"

"Yeah…" He murmured, eyes fluttering to sleep began to claim him. "You're the best."

Overwhelmed with warmth, she adjusted her grip as he setted against her, his breathing evening.

"Thank you…. Indy."

Whew finished with that so yeah I dont know if you guys like the Indy film scene just kinda made it up in my head let me know if you like it like that because imma probably do it again and that will be it cause honestly its hard to do it but I make do. Also Adachi and Hayato, While Adachi has his personality Hayato may seem kinda normal because well he is cause he's not a reincarnate just a normal kid. It may seem boring but just bare with me. Just wait and see until next time...
