Chapter 272: A Dinner Date with Pyrrha
"So how do I look" asked Dante with a smile as he stood in front of Mira, Lisanna and Juvia while he was dressed in a form fitting black suit. Mira gave her big brother and husband a sweet smile as she started to speak.
"You look great, Pyrrha will love it" responded Mira in her signature sweet tone.
"Yah, you look really good big brother" stated Lisanna with a smile.
"Juvia is having a hard time controlling herself with you looking like that love" stated Juvia while her eyes hungrily roamed Dante's body. Dante smiled at everyone as he started to speak.
"Thanks, but are you sure that I should be dressed up like this" asked Dante thinking that this was a little much for just dinner with Pyrrha. Looking in the mirror Dante adjusted his red tie with a blue Fairy Tail guild mark on it. Smiling at Dante, Mira started to speak.
"Of course you should dress up. From what Juvia told us it seems that Pyrrha really likes you" responded Mira with a smile.
"Yah and it wouldn't be good if you and Pyrrha went out to dinner dressed in your usual clothes big brother. You are both members of the magic council, you have to dress the part sometimes" stated Lisanna. Dante looked towards Lisanna and gave her a questioning look as he started to speak.
"What's wrong with my usual clothes" asked Dante with a joking smile. Smiling back at her big brother, Lisanna giggled before she started to speak.
"Oh, nothing's wrong with your usual clothes, you just look way better dressed like this" responded Lisanna in a flirty tone as she licked her lips with perverse hunger.
"Juvia agrees, you look amazing and so handsome love" stated Juvia in a tone that made it clear to Dante that Juvia wanted to have her way with him.
"Still, you don't think this is too much" asked Dante. Shaking her head, Mira started to speak.
"Not at all, I think Pyrrha is going to dress up too, so you have nothing to worry about" responded Mira with a warm smile. Nodding his head in understanding, Dante started to speak.
"I hope your right about that. I would hate to get to the restaurant just to find out I am way overdressed" responded Dante hoping that wouldn't be the case. When Dante got home and told Mira and Lisanna that he had a dinner date with Pyrrha Nikos, his sisters insisted that he dressed up.
"There is no need to worry about that, Pyrrha will be dressed up I'm sure about that. You have a big effect on women Dante, Pyrrha will want to dress to impress you" responded Lisanna with a flirty smile.
"Alright, I'll take your word then. Thanks for the help everyone. Guess I should get going now" responded Dante with a smile as he started to walk out of the bedroom with everyone else following behind him. Soon Dante kissed Mira, Lisanna, and Juvia goodbye and started to walk out of their home. Calling out to Dante as he walked away from the front door, Mira started to speak.
"Have fun" shouted Mira in a sweet tone.
"Yah, don't worry about coming home tonight if you know what I mean" shouted Lisanna in a chipper tone thinking having Pyrrha joining her big brother's harem would promise to be a lot of fun. Dante smiled as he waved goodbye to the three sexy women shouting at him. Soon Dante was walking through the crowded streets of the capital until he stopped in front of the restaurant that Pyrrha had told him to meet her at.
"Geez this place looks really upscale; I hope we can get in" stated Dante to himself as he looked at the restaurant. As Dante wondered if Pyrrha was able to get reservations this last minute, he heard a giggle from behind him before Pyrrha's familiar voice started to speak to him.
"I think two magic council members will have no problem getting a table" stated Pyrrha with a giggle in her voice. Dante smiled as he turned around to face Pyrrha and was left speechless as he looked at her. Pyrrha felt a strong blush creep across her face as Dante stared wide eyed at her. Standing in front of Dante was the invincible girl, Pyrrha was dressed in a long and slender red dress that looked amazing on her. It took Dante serval moments to find his voice before he started to speak.
"Damn Pyrrha you look, wow" stated Dante in awe at how good and sexy Pyrrha looked. Pyrrha blushed even deeper at Dante's words, she was glad that he liked her efforts to impress him. Truth was that for a while now Pyrrha has had a crush on Dante but never really knew how to approach him about it. Seeing her crush stare wide eyed at her and tell her those kind words about her appearance made Pyrrha almost giddy with happiness.
"T-thanks. You look really nice also" responded Pyrrha blushing crimson as she gave Dante an appreciative look. Pyrrha already thought that Dante was quite handsome but seeing him dressed in a form fitting suit almost made Dante look angelic in Pyrrha's eyes. Smiling back at Pyrrha, Dante started to speak.
"Thanks, I wasn't sure if I was going to be properly dressed but seeing how much effort you put into your outfit I am glad I dressed up" responded Dante with a kind smile. Pyrrha could feel her heart beating quickly as she felt Dante's gaze on her while she started to speak.
"So should we go inside now" asked Pyrrha in a somewhat nervous tone. Nodding his head, Dante started to speak.
"Yah, I'm starving" responded Dante with a smile as he closed the distance between himself and Pyrrha. Pyrrha was taken aback when Dante hooked his arm around her own but quickly accepted the physical contact. Together the two of them walked into the restaurant, Pyrrha clinging to Dante's side with a wide smile on her face. The two of them stepped up to the host's desk as the host started to speak to them.
"Do you two have a reservation" asked the host. Shaking her head, Pyrrha started to speak.
"No, we don't but we were hoping you had something available for us" responded Pyrrha with a smile. The host shook his head as he started to speak.
"I'm sorry but we are booked for the next three months. If you do not have a reservation then I am afraid there is nothing we can do for you" responded the host in a somewhat annoyed tone that someone would try and dine at one of the most exclusive restaurants in the capital without a reservation. Smiling at the host, Dante started to speak.
"Could you double check? We would be really appreciative if you could find something" asked Dante with a kind smile. The host seemed like he was about to respond with a negative before Pyrrha started to speak.
"We would have made reservations but working on the magic council doesn't leave us with a lot of time to do such things" stated Pyrrha with an amused smile as the host's expression suddenly changed. Hearing Pyrrha's words the host did a double take as he started to study Dante and Pyrrha's faces closer. After a moment the host perked up as he smiled widely at Dante and Pyrrha as he started to speak.
"I didn't realize I was speaking with two members of the magic council. Of course, we have something available! It would be our honor to serve Dante Strauss and Pyrrha Nikos" responded the host in a much more welcoming tone than he had a moment ago. Dante and Pyrrha smiled back at the host as they were soon shown to a table set for two. Once Dante and Pyrrha took their seats, the host bowed to them as he continued to speak.
"You waiter will be with you shortly. Thank you again for choosing to dine with us" stated the host before he walked away. Dante turned his attention towards Pyrrha and started to speak.
"I don't like being a member of the magic council, but I can't deny there are some great perks to the job" stated Dante with a smile thinking the host's sudden change in demeanor was amusing. Nodding her head, Pyrrha started to speak to Dante.
"Yes there are some good perks to being a magic council member. May I ask why you don't like being a member though" asked Pyrrha in a curious tone. Smiling at Pyrrha, Dante started to speak.
"It's just a lot of work. I wouldn't have become a member normally, but I knew that the kingdom needed the wizard saints to step up" responded Dante with a smile. Nodding her head in understanding, Pyrrha started to speak.
"Yes it can be a lot of work and I agree that if the circumstances were different I would have likely never accepted the invitation to join either" responded Pyrrha with a smile. Giving Pyrrha a flirty smile, Dante started to speak.
"I'm glad I did join the council though so I can have the opportunity to meet you Pyrrha" responded Dante in a flirty tone. Pyrrha felt herself blush at these words as she stumbled over her words as she spoke to Dante.
"I'm a-also glad we could meet" responded Pyrrha with a shy smile while she blushed. Seeing how flustered Pyrrha was being made Dante want her even more and knew that if he played his cards right then Pyrrha would gladly join his harem. Shortly after Pyrrha spoke, the waiter appeared and took their orders. While the waiter walked away, Dante turned his attention back towards Pyrrha and started to speak.
"So I have to ask, what is your magic? I'm curious since during our sparing match my sword was acting strange, as if a force was acting on it" stated Dante with a smile.
"Well, my magic is magnetism. I can freely control magnetic forces" responded Pyrrha with a smile as she demonstrated her magic by making Dante's fork levitate in the air before she set it back down. Smiling at Pyrrha, Dante started to speak.
"That's incredible! So that is why I couldn't block you attacks with my sword. You were using your magic to move my sword out of the way" responded Dante with a smile. Nodding her head, Pyrrha started to speak.
"Yes, with my magic it's impossible for someone to use weapons against me if they are made of metal" responded Pyrrha with a smile, she was blushing at Dante's praising of her magic.
"That's a very useful magic to have. I imagine you have some amazing combo attacks with your magic and weapons" responded Dante with a kind smile.
"I have a trick or two" responded Pyrrha, almost gushing with happiness at Dante's praising.
"Hell with magic like that I'd love to see you spar against my friend Erza. You would do a number on her" responded Dante with a smile thinking that Pyrrha would be a perfect counter to Erza's powers. Smiling back at Dante, Pyrrha started to speak.
"I know of Erza and her powers; she would have a lot of trouble against someone like me" responded Pyrrha with a smile.
"That's for sure but don't think you could beat Erza so easily. Erza is scarily powerful; she would find a way to test you even with your magic acting against her. You magic might have prevented me from using my sword, but Erza is a far better swordsman than me, well swordswoman in her case" responded Dante with a smile. Giggling at Dante's response, Pyrrha started to speak.
"Well maybe I can have the honor of facing Erza soon in battle" responded Pyrrha with a smile.
"I just hope I can see that fight go down; it would be an entraining one" responded Dante with a smile. Shortly after saying these words the waiter appeared to pour Dante and Pyrrha their drinks. Pouring each of them a glass of red wine, the waiter assured them that their food would be at the table shortly before he walked away.
"So, I have a question for you" stated Pyrrha with a smile. Smiling back at Pyrrha as he took a sip from his wine, Dante set the glass down and started to speak.
"What question do you have for me" asked Dante in a curious tone.
"What is it like to be in a guild? From what I heard Fairy Tail was an amazing guild" stated Pyrrha in a curious tone. Smiling at Pyrrha, Dante started to speak.
"Being in a guild is the best, especially when it's Fairy Tail. In a guild like Fairy Tail you are never alone because everyone in the guild is family" responded Dante with a smile. Smiling back at Dante, Pyrrha started to speak.
"That certainly sounds good, before I joined the magical council it was just Nora and I going on jobs together" responded Pyrrha with a smile. This time it was Dante's turn to ask Pyrrha a question as he started to speak.
"If you don't mind me asking, why haven't you joined a guild? You are certainly one of the most powerful wizards in the kingdom since you are a Wizard Saint. Any guild in the kingdom would gladly accept you as a member and I'm sure Nora is plenty strong as well" asked Dante in a curious tone. Pyrrha shrugged her shoulders as she started to speak.
"It just didn't seem like I ever found the right guild to join. So many guilds would want me to join just because I am Pyrrha Nikos, the invincible girl. I guess I just wanted a guild to want me for me, not because of my fame or power" responded Pyrrha feeling slightly foolish talking to Dante about one of her inequities. While Pyrrha blushed at her own words, Dante started to speak.
"I'm sorry that so many people look at you like that Pyrrha. It's a shame they can't see past the fame and status you have because if they did they would see what an incredible woman you are" responded Dante with a kind smile. Pyrrha felt her blush deepen at Dante's kind words as she started to speak to him.
"You r-really think that" asked Pyrrha in a somewhat nervous tone, Dante's words ringing in her ears which made her internally jump for joy. Nodding his head, Dante started to speak.
"Of course Pyrrha. I've only known you for a short time, but I think you are amazing. You are kind, strong, caring and not to mention unbelievably sexy and cute" responded Dante with a kind smile. Hearing these words made Pyrrha blush crimson as her heart was beating out of her chest.
"Oh, w-well I'm really happy to hear you say that Dante. T-thank you" responded Pyrrha not really knowing what to say as her crush completed her to this degree. Soon after saying these words the waiter appeared with their food. As Dante started to eat his food, his attention was turned back towards Pyrrha who started to speak.
"I wanted to apologize Dante" responded Pyrrha in a somewhat guilty tone. Dante gave Pyrrha a curious look since he didn't think she had done anything that needed apologizing.
"What do you mean Pyrrha? What are you apologizing for? You've done nothing wrong" asked Dante with a kind smile. While Pyrrha loved the look of Dante's kind smile, she shook her head as she started to speak.
"No, I have done something wrong" responded Pyrrha in a somewhat guilty tone. Looking around to make sure no one was close by, Pyrrha continued to speak but in a low tone.
"I voted for Markov to go to the Alvarez Empire and was complicit in keeping it a secret from you" stated Pyrrha in a low tone as she remembered how upset Dante was when he found out about Markov. Seeing Dante's smile falter, Pyrrha continued to speak.
"If I knew how much Markov meant to you I would have never approved of such a plan, I'm sorry" stated Pyrrha in a guilty tone. Dante nodded his head in understanding, but he wanted to make sure that Pyrrha knew that he didn't blame her.
"It's alright Pyrrha, you don't have to apologize for that. I'm not angry with you for that" responded Dante in a kind tone. Pyrrha gave Dante a guilty look as she started to speak.
"How could you not be angry with me? Markov is like a father to you isn't he" asked Pyrrha in a questioning tone, guilt covering her face. Dante nodded his head as he started to speak.
"Yes Master Markov is like a father to me, but I recognize that it was his choice to go to the Alvarez Empire. With or without the magic council's approval he would have gone since it was to protect everyone in Fairy Tail" responded Dante in a kind tone. Pyrrha still seemed guilty as she started to speak.
"Still I shouldn't have kept it a secret to you, I should have realized how much Markov meant to you" responded Pyrrha, remembering that Dante almost quit the magic council when he learned the truth about Markov.
"Maybe, but you only did what you thought was right. To be fair I did react badly to the news once I found out. If it wasn't for Warrod talking me down I would have gone to the Alvarez Empire so I think you were right in thinking that I would overreact" responded Dante with a smile. Pyrrha nodded her head in understanding and a moment of silence followed before she started to speak.
"Are you worried about Markov" asked Pyrrha. Dante nodded his head as he started to speak.
"Yah I'm worried about him. I wish Master Markov wouldn't insist on doing these sort of things all the time. He is always so quick to defend the guild and everyone in it even if it means throwing down his own life. While I'm worried about Master Markov I know that if anyone has a chance of making it out alive, it will be him. Master Markov is insanely strong, I have confidence in the guild master" responded Dante, choosing to refer to Markov as the guild master despite the fact that Fairy Tail was disbanded. In Dante's mind Fairy Tail wasn't officially disbanded since it would come back one day. Smiling at Dante's positivity, Pyrrha started to speak.
"The way you talk about Fairy Tail makes me wish I joined before it was disbanded" responded Pyrrha deciding to change the subject since it seemed like Dante didn't hold anything against her. Smiling warmly at Pyrrha, Dante started to speak.
"Fairy Tail will come back one day, I'm sure of it. Master Markov will come back alive and once he does the guild is coming back. Once Fairy Tail is back you are more than welcome to join" responded Dante with a kind smile.
"Really? You really think I could join the guild" asked Pyrrha in a hopeful tone.
"Of course, you could Pyrrha. The guild you be lucky to have such a beautiful woman like yourself join it" responded Dante in a flirty tone. Once again Pyrrha blushed at Dante's words. Looking at Dante with his almost angelic smile, Pyrrha gathered her courage as she started to speak.
"D-Dante, I was wondering if you would like to join me back at my place" asked Pyrrha since they were just about finished with their meal. Dante knew what was on Pyrrha's mind given how she was blushing, and he thought she was being adorably shy. Still Dante wanted to see if Pyrrha had enough confidence to come out and say what was on her mind.
"Go back to your place? What for Pyrrha" asked Dante playing coy as if he didn't know what Pyrrha wanted from him. Looking at Dante, Pyrrha felt a surge of courage and knew that she had to act on it before she lost it. With a determined look Pyrrha stood up and walked over to Dante. Once Pyrrha was standing in front of Dante, she grabbed him by his tie and forced him to stand up before she crashed her lips onto Dante's.
Pyrrha moaned into Dante's mouth as she kissed him hard on the lips, her body on fire with arousal and lust. She didn't even care that she had suddenly kissed Dante in the middle of a crowded restaurant, all Pyrrha cared about was conveying her strong feelings for Dante through the heated kiss. The two of them made out for a short while before Pyrrha leaned back from Dante's lips and started to speak.
"Does that answer your question" asked Pyrrha in a flirty tone, hoping that her feelings for Dante were now understood. To Pyrrha it seemed to take forever for Dante to respond, her heart beating out of her chest as she nervously waited for his answer. Finally, Dante smiled at Pyrrha as he started to speak.
"Yes it does Pyrrha, and I would love to go back to your place" responded Dante before he leaned forward and kissed Pyrrha shortly on the lips. Pyrrha's heart soared with Dante's answer and his kiss. After a short while Dante leaned back from Pyrrha's sweet lips and started to speak.
"Lead the way Pyrrha" stated Dante with a kind smile while his hand remained on her hip. Smiling back at Dante, Pyrrha felt a growing heat between her legs as she started to speak.
"R-right, follow me then" responded Pyrrha in a slightly nervous tone but her entire body on fire with desire now that it seemed she was finally going to be able to be with the man she had a huge crush on. Taking Dante's hand in her own, Pyrrha soon lead Dante out of the restaurant after their meal was paid for.
