Here's another chapter! Kitsune got the job!! Yay! I'm sure some of you can see where this is going... I won't say anything more than that! Kitsune and Melissa will meet soon, I'm sure. Melissa is just so excited to finally meet everyone in Class 1-A! Now it's time for some hero training! Also Uraraka is a little uncomfortable having Melissa around... It got better, but we'll see where this goes...

I highly recommend reading The Winter Dance, and everything else after that just to get the full experience especially if you want to know who Kitsune is!! Enjoy :)

In the Girls' changing room...

Uraraka got ready and put on her hero costume pretty quiet and slowly. Everyone kept talking about Melissa, which made her a little uncomfortable. She started to somewhat like her, but hearing everyone talk about her and not Kitsune getting an amazing job seemed to bother her for some reason. Kitsune deserved such an amazing job, and no one was even mentioning it. She wanted Kitsune to be proud herself and be there for other students. She knew that she could help them out a lot considering what her quirk is capable of.

Uraraka let out a sigh and kept putting on her hero costume.

"I hope Melissa stays over for a while," Ashido said to them, "She seems really fun to hang out with."

"She is pretty nice. I'm sure she'll come over to the dormitory sooner than later," Yaoyorozu said to them as she put on her hero costume.

"You really think so? That'd be amazing! We could have a sleepover!" Hagakure said to them with her gloves up in the air.

Something about that made Uraraka a little annoyed. She liked Melissa, but something about her was bothering. She didn't know what it was, but it might've had to do with Kitsune getting a job. No one even mentioned her in the changing room.

"Yeah. It would be nice to have more girls in the dormitory," Jirou said back.

"Don't forget that Melissa is also busy with creating inventions for U.A.," Yaoyorozu reminded them, "She might not have time to go to a sleepover."

Ashido and Hagakure pouted together, which made Uraraka pick up the pace with putting on her hero costume. Then once she was done, she decided to leave without them. Before she leave however, Ashido stepped in and blocked her way out.

"Uraraka, what is going on with you?" Ashido asked her, "You've been so quiet all day."

Uraraka really didn't want to talk about this, especially with Ashido. She tried to walk away from her, but she kept insisting on telling her.

"Ashido. I don't feel like talking about it," Uraraka said to her, "We're running late for hero training."

"Come on Uraraka. You were quiet even during lunch," Yaoyorozu pointed out, "Clearly something's wrong. Did Midoriya do something?"

Uraraka's eyes widened and trying to hide her face so they wouldn't notice her blushing. She really didn't want to do this right now. She just wanted to get started on some hero training.

"No. He didn't do anything," Uraraka told them, "Excuse me."

Uraraka pushed her way through and soon left the changing room. Then what she wasn't expecting was Melissa sitting on a bench outside of the changing rooms. She froze in place once Melissa spotted her. She smiled, and Uraraka tried to play it off as if she was stretching to get ready for hero training.

"Me-Melissa... Wh-What're you doing here?" Uraraka asked her.

"Didn't Deku tell you? I'm here to watch you guys hero train," Melissa explained.

Uraraka remembered now, but she wasn't really paying attention at the time. She tried to shake it off and smiled at her pretty unconvincingly. She wanted to leave and head over to Gym Gamma, but she could tell that Melissa wanted to talk to her. She didn't want to be rude, so she tried to be friendly with her.

"So, how's hero training going for you? Deku says that his quirk has improved a lot since I last saw him," Melissa asked her.

Uraraka tried not to react to that and hoped that Melissa wouldn't be suspicious of his quirk's improvement. His was different from everybody else's anyway. She looked down at her hands, remembering that hers had improved as well. Something about it made her feel pretty good as if her and Midoriya had something that even Melissa didn't.

"Actually, my quirk has changed a bit as well. It seems that I can heal with mine, believe or not," Uraraka explained to her, "I actually helped Izuku out when he had a fever. Something about my quirk can help relax someone and make their quirk feel better when someone is sick."

"Wow! That's really interesting," Melissa said to her, "I never would've thought of your quirk as a healing type. That's pretty impressive. I bet you've helped Deku with a lot of things since you got back from I-island."

"Yeah well. We did go to the Winter Dance together," Uraraka said with an unconvincing smile, "He actually asked me to go with him. He was kind of shy about it, but he was really sweet about it."

"It sounds like you two had a lot of fun during this Winter Dance," Melissa told her, "I wish I could've been there just to see you two perform."

Something about that reminded of when Hatsume cut in and danced with Midoriya for a while. Another girl getting in her way of how she felt about him.

"Ye-Yeah... Me too," Uraraka said through her smile.

Before Melissa could say anything else, Midoriya came out of the changing room to see Uraraka and Melissa talking to each other. Something about it made her freeze in place. She played with her gauntlets to make sure they were adjusted properly.

"Hey Ochaco," Midoriya said to her, "Melissa's coming to watch us hero train."

Uraraka felt herself smile and almost gritted her teeth.

"Great..."

Outside by Gym Gamma...

Uraraka walked with the rest of her class, feeling a little left out again. Midoriya didn't even talk to her as he kept talking to Melissa. She kept her distance as she got ready to hero train. Something about his smile seemed bright that she felt her heart ache for him to do that for her. She knew that he was just being polite and nothing more than that. But still...

It was the way he seemed so obviously to how she was feeling around her that bothered her. No one even talked about Kitsune. She felt like she was the only one that cared about her and her new job offer. Uraraka felt a little annoyed seeing everyone trying to talk to her and get to know her better. She didn't want to feel this way, but something about her being the center of attention really bothered her.

Kitsune deserved to have a little bit recognition considering what happened between them. She even seemed to be improving with her quirk finally. She clenched her fists, but soon entered Gym Gamma. Once she spotted Mr. Aizawa, she tried to shake it off and focus on her hero training.

"Alright everyone," Mr. Aizawa announced to his class, "Since we have a guest here joining us, I want you to use this time to work on and improve on your quirks. I'm sure Melissa wouldn't mind seeing how things work around here."

Uraraka glanced at Melissa who just as excited as everyone else. She let out a sigh and got ready to hero train. Ectoplasm stood by Mr. Aizawa, so he began to clone into enough of them everyone to practice with. Uraraka looked back at Melissa and noticed her talking to Midoriya. Something about her seemed way more interested his improvement than anyone else. Then again, they hadn't even started yet. She waved it off and walked over to a clone of Ectoplasm.

Once she got ready to improve her quirk, all she wanted to focus on was her gauntlets and improving on her mobility. She could get around with them pretty easily, but she knew that she could improve on it being more swift and less bumpy. She activated her quirk on herself and aimed her gauntlet at the cement slab from across the gym. She balanced herself so she had a better chance of launching across swiftly. Then she launched it towards the cement slab, causing it grab onto it pretty tightly.

Soon Uraraka felt herself get pulled towards the cement slab pretty fast. Uraraka got ready to land onto it, and then got her boots ready to jump off of it. She leaped into the air, making herself float much higher. She aimed back at the area where she was practicing. Once she aimed, she noticed something in the corner of the gym.

It was Midoriya. He was practicing with Black Whip. Melissa was nearby, and her eyes were sparkling in awe at what he could do. Something about her smile and the way her eyes shined made her feel a little left out. She hadn't even had much of a chance to hero train with Midoriya lately. She accidentally launched her gauntlet at a nearby cement slab, but it almost hit Bakugo.

"Hey! Watch it!" Bakugo yelled at her.

"Sorr--"

Uraraka was soon launched towards Bakugo, and she fell onto him. Everyone noticed, and Uraraka rubbed her head from the impact. Then she realized that she was on top of Bakugo. Her face turned bright red, and she struggled to get off of him.

"So-Sorry B-Bakugo! I-I di-didn't mean to!" Uraraka cried out as she tried to cool down.

"Yeah well next time, look where you're aiming," Bakugo said to her with a slight blemish across his face.

Uraraka then spotted Midoriya, and he was looking at her with a concerned look on his face. She face wouldn't stop heating up, and she tried to cool down. Even Melissa was watching her, and she looked like she wanted to come in and help her. Uraraka told Bakugo that she was sorry again and ran over to her area to go back to hero training. First however, Mr. Aizawa came by her training area with a stern look on his face. She flinched as he stood there looking concerned.

"Uraraka. Is there something wrong? You never make a mistake like that?" Mr. Aizawa asked her.

Uraraka really didn't want to talk about this with Mr. Aizawa of all people. He wouldn't understand, especially with Melissa around. She glanced over at Melissa and Midoriya and tried to shake it off. Melissa seemed to be talking to Midoriya about how she could help him improve on his quirk. She kept touching his arm as if she was trying to help him use it better. Melissa was an inventor, but still. Midoriya didn't even seem bothered by it at all. Her face felt so hot that she couldn't cool down.

Uraraka looked at Mr. Aizawa, and she tried to shake it off for now.

"Sorry sir. I was just worried about schoolwork," Uraraka said to him, "It won't happen again. I'll focus more on what I'm doing."

She could tell that he wasn't convinced, but he let out a sigh. He let it slide for now, but gave her warning since she's never done this before. Uraraka let out a sigh as well once he left her to do some hero training. Ectoplasm helped her get back into it, and she tried to focus on finishing up some hero training. The whole time, she tried to use her quirk and improve her mobility, but she knew that Midoriya and Melissa where nearby. She was able to get through it pretty easily. For a moment when things settled down, she spotted Melissa watching everyone hero train.

There was a moment where Melissa was watching Uraraka hero train, which made her feel a little uncomfortable. But then she stood tall and realized that she could show her what she could finally pull off with her quirk. She smiled as she got ready to show off. Uraraka ran off of her practicing area and leaped into the air while activating her quirk. Once she was in the air, she turned around and aimed her gauntlet right at a pillar. She launched the cable right at it, causing her to get pulled towards it. She kept balance as she launched across the gym, catching some of their classmates's attention.

Uraraka side glanced at Melissa, and she looked like she was in awe at Uraraka's skills. She couldn't help smile and kept going. She soon got her gauntlet unhooked from the pillar and landed onto the wall with her boots. She flipped as she turned off her quirk and landed onto her practicing area and slammed her gauntlets onto the ground. As soon as she did that, she activated her quirk onto the debris. That caused the debris to float all around her, causing Melissa to be in awe.

Uraraka felt pretty satisfied now.

In Class 1-A's dormitory...

Once hero training was over, everyone was excited to have Melissa stay at their dormitory for a while. She was so excited to see their dormitory and even talk about hero training. All she could do was go over everyone's hero training as everyone soon settled down for dinner. Everyone got out of their school uniforms and into something comfortable. Melissa noticed Uraraka coming down with a really pretty necklace that was in the shape of a heart. Something about it seemed really special to her.

Yaoyorozu and Sato soon made everyone dinner, ramen. Melissa was already excited to have some and soon it was ready.

Melissa remembered almost everyone's quirks as they hero trained. She really enjoyed watching Midoriya hero train, but something about the others were so much more fascinating to watch at times. Something about watching them felt so inspiring, especially when everyone was doing it. Melissa sat with Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida as she ate some ramen with them. Melissa noticed that everyone was so welcoming to her coming over for a while.

"It's so good to have you over, Melissa," Midoriya told her, "It was kind of cool having you watch us hero train."

"Yes! It was very inspiring. I couldn't get enough of it!" Melissa said back, "I even really enjoyed watching you, Ochaco."

Uraraka's eyes widened in shock, feeling a little warm around her cheeks. Something about it felt a little good though that someone finally acknowledged her. She hesitated to say anything, but Iida gave her a proud smile.

"You were pretty amazing. The way you shot across the air like that. It was pretty cool!" Melissa complimented with sparkling eyes.

Uraraka's face heated up, but something about it did feel pretty good. Something about Melissa's eyes and smile made her feel way more welcomed.

"Yeah well... It was just something that I've been trying to improve on. That's all," Uraraka said under her breath.

"Well, I think you did amazing! I even enjoyed watching Momo and Kyouka train. Those kind quirks can be pretty useful, I can tell," Melissa said to them from across the tables, "Even Mina and Denki seemed like pretty amazing quirks."

"Yeah well, we have been improving on them for a while now," Kaminari said to her with a proud smile.

"I bet you make some pretty amazing inventions. You are related to David Shield after all," Ashido pointed out.

"Yeah, but I've been slacking a little. Luckily, coming to U.A. will help me improve on that," Melissa said to them as she ate some ramen.

Melissa felt so satisfied with the ramen that she could eat some much of it. She had never had handmade ramen before, it was always insant ramen.

"Even this ramen is really good! I bet you guys make this a lot!" Melissa exclaimed as she ate more.

"Yeah. It's the easiest thing to make on a good hero training day," Sato explained to them.

"After this, we can have some of my special tea if you want. It's really good," Yaoyorozu said back.

Melissa was about to say yes, but then she noticed Uraraka looking a little uncomfortable. She stopped for a moment and knew that something was bothering her. She didn't know what, but she knew something was wrong. Melissa noticed right away that Uraraka was a little uncomfortable with her around. For whatever reason, she felt like it had something to do with Midoriya. She looked at the heart necklace and wondered if it meant anything to her. Something about it seemed like more than just a necklace to her.

"Thank you, but I should get going after this. Uncle Might wouldn't want me staying here so late," Melissa explained, "Besides, I need to get a good night sleep to start on more of those inventions."

Melissa looked up at Uraraka and noticed her looking a little more comfortable being around her. She slumped her shoulders, hoping that she didn't do anything wrong. All she wanted was to get along with her. Something about her posture seemed to be a little annoyed with her. Then Melissa noticed Midoryia's face and realized what was going on. His eyes and smile were sparkling as he looked and talked to her throughout her time here with them.

Uraraka liked Midoriya as more than a friend.
