To anyone who reads my fanfiction, I have something to say. Recently, I've been getting people who are wanting me to hire them to do Fan Art for my Fanfiction and I turn them down. It's at the point where I'm angry and want to take down all of my fanfiction. I want those who are planning on asking me in a DM or in the reviews to stop asking me because I will never ever hire you. I can do my own fan art for my fanfiction. You want to do some artwork for a writer who is publishing a book, go on social media and ask around.
If you as readers really want me to continue writing my fanfiction, then that's what I'll do because writing fanfiction makes me happy. If you honestly don't like the way I'm writing the story for any fandom that I write for, then you can make yourself an account on any fanfiction website and write it yourself. You don't have to physically read mine.
I DO NOT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC, THE NICKNAME FOR HER POKEMON PARTNER AND THE POKEMON TEAMS THAT SHE HAS FOR EACH REGION IN THE FANDOM!
Shoutouts:
Narrator: Today, our heroes are headed for the Violet City Gym, where Ash hopes to compete for his first Johto League badge. They're strolling through a beautiful, leafy forest, but the scene's not as serene as it seems.
Riley: How much further until we get to Violet City?
Narrator: Soon, I hope.
Meeko: Riol!
Riley: Me too.
"Hey, that's weird." said Ash as they walked up to some trees that had no leaves on them.
"Huh?"
"The whole forest's green, except those trees there." Ash pointed out.
"Yeah, they don't have a single leaf on their branches." said Misty.
"The trees don't look burned, and it's not fall yet so it's too early for the leaves to drop off." said Brock.
"Do you think a Pokémon, or someone plucked the leaves from the branches and didn't want them to grow back?" asked Riley.
"Pikachu?" Pikachu wondered, then something catches his eyes. "Pika!"
"What's out there, Pikachu?" asked Ash.
Meeko starts to sense an unknown aura in front of her. "Riolu!" she said.
"What is it, Meeko?" asked Riley.
"Guys, look over there!" said Brock.
"Huh?" asked Ash and Riley.
"What are they?" asked Misty. On a tree, there was a horde of the same Bug type Pokémon, eating together.
"They're so…creepy." said Misty.
"The way one of them is eating….I agree." said Riley.
"I just can't stand Bug Pokémon." said Misty, uneasy by what she's seeing.
"Toge, Toge!" said Togepi, trying to cheer up her mother.
"Heracross, the Single Horn Pokémon. Though gentle and docile, Heracross possesses great strength and power. Their favorite food is fresh sap of leafy trees." said Dexter.
"Well…. that explains the leafless trees." said Riley.
"I'm gonna try to catch all those Heracross." said Ash, putting Dexter away. "I can save the tree and get some neat Pokémon."
"Hold it, young man." said a man, walking up to them.
"Huh?"
"You're free to catch the Heracross if you like but if you do, you might be responsible for causing more harm to this forest than you know." said the man.
"Who are you?" asked Ash.
"My name is Woodruff. I'm a ranger for the forest and wildlife bureau." said Woodruff.
"My name is Ash."
"I'm Riley."
"And mine's Brock."
"And my name's Misty."
"Well, I imagine you're all experienced Pokémon Trainers." said Woodruff.
"Right." said Ash.
"I'm sure you're eager to catch as many Heracross as you can but you might cause a great deal of damage to this forest if you do." explained Woodruff.
"Really?" asked Ash
"It's important to understand how delicate the balance of nature can be." Woodruff said, looking at the trees.
"What do you mean?"
"To survive in this forest, Butterfree need Heracross to live with them side by side." Woodruff said to the quartet.
"How's that help the Butterfree?" Ash asked.
"Are the Butterfree going to come through this forest and pollinate the leafless trees?" asked Riley.
"Huh?"
They all turned around to see a group of Butterfree flying towards the tree with Heracross. "I see what you mean." said Ash. "The Butterfree are too weak to dig into the trees."
"They need the Heracross to start the sap flowing." said Brock.
"The Heracross eat their fill and the Butterfree lick the leftovers." said Ash. "Everybody eats and everybody's happy."
"That's so cool and very sweet of the Heracross to do that for the Butterfree." said Riley.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that." said Misty.
"Huh?" said Ash.
"The Butterfree and the Heracross may be helping each other but they're hurting the forest." said Misty.
"Nature must be out of balance." said Ash.
"I'm afraid the balance has been destroyed by a dangerous band of invaders." said Woodruff and the quartet gasped.
"What kind of invaders are they?" asked Brock.
"Pik?" said Pikachu, hearing something behind them and becomes concerned. "Pika!"
"Riolu!" said Meeko, hearing the same thing.
"Pikachu and Meeko senses something." said Ash.
"What's coming, you two?" asked Riley.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out as he and Meeko pointed in the same direction.
"Oh, no!" said Misty.
"Here they come!" said Woodruff.
"Pinsir, Pinsir, Pinsir!" said a group of Pinsir, quickly running towards them.
"Aren't those Pinsir?" asked Ash.
"What are they doing?" asked Riley, making a face.
"Riol?" asked Meeko.
"Yes, they're the invaders." said Woodruff. "If they're not stopped, they'll suck the whole forest bone dry."
The quartet gasps again, this time in shock. "That's terrible!" Ash said.
The Pinsir became aggressive as they grabbed ahold of the tree and crawled up. Using the horns on their heads, Pinsir starts shooing away the Butterfree, making them scared. Heracross were unfazed.
"Knock it off, Pinsir! Go eat someplace else!" shouted Ash.
"Come on, Heracross, don't sit there!" shouted Misty. "Those Pinsir'll take your tree if you don't do something."
Opening the wings on their backs, Heracross took to the skies. "That's the spirit!" said Misty.
"Chase those Pinsir out of there!" said Ash.
"Come on, Heracross! Take down those Pinsir!" said Riley.
All of the Heracross headed towards the top of the tree, ready to defend it. Pinsir, on the other hand, were ready to defend themselves. Scared of being pinched, Heracross flew away in retreat. Ash, Riley and Misty groaned at this, wondering why the Heracross chose to retreat.
"What happened?" asked Misty. "Why'd all the Heracross bug out and fly away?"
"Heracross could chase off those Pinsir but they're just too peachy and friendly." Woodruff explained. "The Heracross would rather take flight than stay around and fight."
"Sometimes that's a pretty smart philosophy." said Ash.
"Yeah, but if the Heracross don't fight off the Pinsir all the trees the Butterfree feed on will be destroyed." Brock said, looking up at the broken tree branches.
"What they need is a leader to fight for them." said Riley.
"Pika!" said Pikachu, agreeing with Riley.
"Riol, Olu!" said Meeko.
"Ah!" exclaimed Ash as a lone Butterfree stood in the tree of Pinsir. "Looks like trouble!"
"Heracross!" said Heracross, protecting the Butterfree.
"A Heracross!" said Ash.
"It's trying to protect that Butterfree that got left behind!" said Brock.
"Go Heracross! Riol!" said Riley and Meeko. "Protect that Butterfree from the meanies!"
"Pika!" cheered Pikachu.
The Pinsir starts attacking Heracross, hurting its back. "Oh. They're ganging up on Heracross." said Ash.
"Six against one isn't fair." said Riley.
"We got to help it!" said Ash. "I choose you, Bulbasaur!"
"Tulip, I choose you!" said Riley.
"Bulbasaur! Ivysaur!" said both Pokémon.
"Bulbasaur, use your Vine Whip Attack!" said Ash.
"Tulip, use Razor Leaf against the Pinsir." said Riley.
"Bulba!" said Bulbasaur, its Vine Whip out and hits three Pinsir.
"Ivysaur!" bellowed Tulip, using her Razor Leaf against the other three Pinsir. All six Pinsir fell and hit the ground hard while Butterfree flew off of Heracross' back.
"Now, that Heracross is too exhausted to fly away!" said Brock.
"Quick, Ash, Heracross doesn't stand a chance against that army!" said Misty. All six Pinsir quickly recovered and jumped back on the tree, heading towards Heracross.
"Pikachu, Thunderbolt Attack!" said Ash.
"Meeko, Helping Hand." said Riley.
"Pikachu! Olu!" said Pikachu and Meeko as the latter helps the former create a bigger Thunderbolt, shocking the Pinsir who fell back to the ground.
"Hera!" said Heracross, relieved that it wasn't being attacked again.
"Nice work!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Uh-oh!" said Riley.
"Riol!" said Meeko. Once again, Pinsir got back up and this time, they angrily looked at the small group. Ash and Pikachu gasped as Riley and Meeko hid behind the eldest Ketchum.
Pinsir decided to attack the small group instead of Heracross. "Pika!" said Pikachu, dodging Pinsir.
"Pikachu, use your thunder!" said Ash.
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, shocking all of the Pinsir as they yelled out in pain. Heracross watched from the tree as Pikachu landed on his feet and the Pinsir takes off. "Pika!"
"You can come on down now, Heracross!" said Ash.
"You're not gonna get hurt by Pinsir anymore." said Riley.
"Heracross!" it said, relieved as it flies down from the tree and walks over to Bulbasaur and Tulip.
"Hey look, Heracross wants to thank Bulbasaur, Tulip, Pikachu and Meeko." said Ash.
As it turns out, Ash was wrong. Leaning against Tulip, Heracross starts drinking sap out of Bulbasaur's bulb. "Saur!" said Bulbasaur.
"Guess again, its sucking all the pollen out of Bulbasaur's bulb!" said Brock.
"Bulbasaur!" said Bulbasaur, struggling to get free until it releases its Vine Whip on Heracross, causing it to land on its back and whine.
"Heracross learned the hard way that there's no free lunch." said Brock.
"I think we all got suckered in." said Misty. "Heracross wasn't trying to protect Butterfree. It was just hungry for more tree sap."
"Maybe." said Brock.
"Want me to do it?" asked Riley.
"You've read my mind." said Ash and Riley walks over to Heracross.
"Excuse me, young Heracross." said Riley, causing said Pokémon to stop throwing its tantrum. "Did you asked Bulbasaur if you could do that?"
"Hera!" said Heracross, shaking its head.
"Okay then." said Riley, pulling it up into a sitting position, then gently smacks both its hands before giving it a hard-earned Riley glare. "Don't take pollen from Bulbasaur like that without asking permission from it first. And don't even think about doing that to Tulip without my permission."
"Heracross!" it said, bowing before her, asking for her forgiveness.
"Ivysaur!" said Tulip, using her Vine Whip on Heracross' hands as well before scolding it with one Vine Whip.
"I swear Riley's gonna be a great mom and aunt one day." said Misty.
"That's if I give her any nieces or nephews." Ash tells Misty.
"You better." said Misty and Ash turns to Brock.
"Okay, so who cares if Heracross was just trying to protect its own food." Ash said. "It scared off the Pinsir and now everything's back to normal, isn't it?"
"I'm afraid it won't be long before those Pinsir come back." said Woodruff.
"What?" questioned Brock.
"Why are they coming back here?" asked Misty.
"The Pinsir and the Heracross have always lived together in peace because they each had their own forest." Woodruff explained. "But recently, something's been driving the Pinsir across the river from their forest and into Heracross territory."
"No way." said Riley and Woodruff nodded.
"I'm afraid I don't know why they're coming here yet, Misty and Riley, but if I can find out, maybe I can stop them." he said.
"It's a real bad situation." said Brock.
"Yeah." said Ash and Riley.
"Oh, well, time to go." said Misty.
"We can't leave here now." said Ash.
"What's the rush?" asked Riley.
"If we don't do something to help the whole forest could be destroyed." said Brock.
"Oh, yeah, right." said Misty, caving in.
"We'll do anything we can to help you save this forest if you'll let us." said Ash.
"Great." said Woodruff, then leads them to the forest. "Let's head for the Pinsir Forest. It'll be slow going, the underbrush here's pretty thick."
"We'll fix that!" said Ash. "Bulbasaur, Razor Lead through!"
"Bulbasaur!" shouted Bulbasaur, using Razor Leaf on the thick underbrush, cutting their path.
"Ivy, Ivysaur!" said Tulip, hanging onto Riley and Meeko.
"Thanks, Tulip." said Riley, grabbing one of Tulip's leaves from her bulb.
"Riol." said Meeko, thanking her as well.
"See, Woodruff, we're helping already." said Ash. He then looks over his shoulder, seeing Heracross following them.
"Don't look now, but we've got some company." said Brock.
"One interesting company who wants to follow us." said Riley, making Misty and Meeko giggle.
"I bet Heracross wants me to be its protector." said Ash.
"And I bet Heracross wants to be a nectar protector." said Misty, causing Riley and Meeko to giggle.
"Bulba!" said Bulbasaur, looking back at Heracross then runs over to it. "Bulbasaur!"
"Ivy! Ivysaur!" Tulip said to Heracross when suddenly Bulbasaur releases its Razor Leaf, causing Heracross to dodge it.
When it looks back up, Heracross sees that they walked a little further ahead. "Heracross?" it asked, concerned about Ash and the others.
"The path should be clear now, Ash." said Woodruff. "We're through the thickest part of the woods."
"Great. Take a rest, Bulbasaur. Good job." said Ash, returning Bulbasaur to its Pokéball.
"Thanks for letting us hang onto your leaves, Tulip." said Riley. "You and Bulbasaur are the best."
"Riol!" said Meeko, high fiving with Tulip's vine whip.
"Ivysaur!" said Tulip, nodding as she lets Riley know that she's welcome before going back into her Pokéball.
Going closer to the river, everyone gasped as they looked down. "Wow. Look at how deep that canyon is." said Misty.
"Yes, it's quite a drop." said Woodruff. "The Pinsir forest is, of course, on the other side of the river."
"Do we have to climb all the way down and back up to get there?" asked Ash as Riley and Meeko looked at the rocky wall.
"No, lucky for us, there's an old rope bridge a little further upriver." said Woodruff.
"Good, because Meeko and I would have to be tied to someone if we were climbing." said Riley.
"Olu." said Meeko.
"Oh, no!" said Woodruff as they all walked upriver to see that the bridge was out. "I was just here a week ago and the bridge was fine."
"Maybe it wore out and the ropes finally broke." said Ash.
"Hmm." Misty thought out loud when she looks past Ash and Woodruff. "Hey, look over there!" They see a Pinsir hopping across the river. "The Pinsir have their own way across."
"The Pinsir probably sliced up the bridge just to prove how nasty they are." said Ash.
"I don't know." said Brock. "Why would they take the time to do something like that?"
"Maybe because they can?" asked Riley.
"It wasn't the Pinsir." said Woodruff. "Pinsir don't cut things like this. These ropes were sawed up by a human being."
"Who'd want to go and do that?" asked Misty.
"Must be someone who doesn't want anybody snooping round the Pinsir forest." said Brock.
"Well, they're not going to stop us." said Ash.
"Because we never back down!" said Riley with her arm in the air.
"That's right, baby sister. We're going to that Pinsir forest, no matter what." said Ash.
"But how do we get there?" asked Brock.
"Yeah, how?" asked Misty. "It's a long way down."
"There's just got to be a way across." said Ash. Suddenly, they hear a tree being knocked down behind them, causing the group to turn and see Heracross.
"Look at that." said Misty. "Hey, we're trying to save the forest here and all you can think about is sucking sap."
"Wait guys, maybe we're wrong." said Brock.
"Huh?" Misty and Ash said.
"I don't think that's what Heracross is trying to do, Misty." said Riley, then points to what it was trying to do. "Take a look at how Heracross is standing and using its arms."
"Hayley's right. Maybe it's trying to help." said Brock. "Maybe it's got a plan."
"Hera!" said Heracross, trying to knock down the tree when it started to uproot itself. Everyone screamed as they ran to take cover from the falling tree.
"Oh." said the quartet.
"You see guys, Heracross built us a bridge and now we can walk right across." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"I like it." said Riley, approving of Heracross' idea.
"Riol." said Meeko.
"Togeprii!" said Togepi.
Slowly Woodruff, Ash, Riley and Brock walked across the tree made bridge, while Misty was the last one to climb on. "You're nuts, I'm not walking across this thing!" shouted Misty.
"Would you to stay there with all the Heracross and Pinsir?" asked Riley. Out of nowhere, Togepi jumps out of Misty's arms and runs across the bark of the tree.
"Huh? Togepi?" Misty asked, then goes after Togepi, who then starts teasing her mother. "Togepi, come back here."
"Toge?" asked Togepi, looking up at her mother.
"Well, now that we're out here," said Misty as she places Togepi on her back and crawled her way. "we might as well cross."
Once on the Pinsir side of the river, Misty placed her feet on the ground, with Togepi in her arms. "Hey, Heracross, aren't you coming along?" asked Ash.
"We could use your help!" said Riley. Instead of reply, Heracross was eating the sap off the tree.
"I think Heracross knocked down that tree so it could knock down some sap." said Misty as Heracross continued eating the sap.
As the group walked through the Pinsir forest, Ash and Riley looked over their shoulders to see that Heracross was still following them. "Hmm?" said Ash. "Heracross is still following us."
"Why though?" asked Riley.
"It probably thinks the four of us are saps." said Misty.
"Gey ready." said Woodruff.
"Huh?" the quartet said.
"We have to stay alert." he tells them. "We're almost at the Pinsir's forest now."
"Oh, great." said Ash.
"Oh, that's great, lots more bug Pokémon." Misty complained. They continued going with Heracross still following them.
"Up there." said Woodruff, looking at a tree that was towering over the others. "The tallest tree, that's where the Pinsir live."
"Oh."
"Wow."
"Pika. Olu."
Popping up behind some bushes, they looked up at the tree's branches. "Look. Up near the top, it's a giant Pinsir." said Ash.
"Wow, I didn't know Pinsir got that big." said Misty.
"Me either." said Riley.
"They don't, but that's not a Pinsir." said Woodruff as Heracross appeared behind them. "It's some kind of robot that looks like one. Its huge and it looks like it's built out of steel."
"I wonder what's the biggest Pinsir there is in the whole world." said Riley.
"Olu." said Meeko.
"Maybe Gary knows." said Brock.
"You can ask him the next time we see him, Riley." said Ash.
"Good idea, Ash." said Riley as they looked at the Pinsir in the tree.
"It's a monster." said Ash.
"Who would build something that creepy?" asked Misty and a familiar laugh was heard, answering Misty's question.
"Prepare for trouble, while we're in the woods."
"And make it double, we're up to no good."
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"And James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" said Jessie.
"Surrender now or prepare to fight, right?" said James.
"That's right!" said Meowth.
"Well, there's the answer to your creepy question." said Ash.
"How many are we up to now, Riley?" asked Brock.
"118, so far Brock." said Riley.
"So, you're the ones responsible for that mechanical Pinsir!" said Woodruff.
"That's right, we found an ad in the back pages of Popular Pokémon, and we sent away for the plans." said Meowth.
"Tell them the plans." said Jessie.
"We were hungry." said Meowth. "It seems like only yesterday, but it was two days ago."
[Flashback]
James groans as he, Meowth and Jessie were wasting away as they held onto their walking sticks. "I thought this hike would be a piece of cake." whined James.
"This is a fine kettle of fish for Team Rocket, aint it?" asked Meowth.
"We're in a jam." said James.
"Stop." whined Jessie.
Just then, Team Rocket fell to the ground in hunger. "I'm too starved to eat." said Meowth, but then smells some of the tree sap. "Hey, that smell, this could be our breakfast."
"French Toast?" asked Jessie.
"Or Belgian waffles?" asked James.
"Follow me!" said Meowth, pointing the way. They ran towards the smell. "It's coming from there!" Meowth said, pointing to the trees.
"Huh?" asked Jessie and James, looking at the tree with sap holes in it.
"That gloopy goop looks disgusting." Jessie commented on the look of the sap. "Are you going to try it, James?"
"I'm not going to try it. Let Meowth try it." said James.
Meowth walks over to the try and starts licking it up. "Hey, I like it. Meowthy likes it!" said Meowth.
"If I weren't so famished, I wouldn't even consider touching this sappy stuff, but…" said Jessie, then tries it herself. "Mm. How tasty!"
"It's sweet, and its yummy, it tastes like honey." said James. "It's delicious and nutritious and its free!"
"This junk tastes better than maple syrup if you ask me." said Meowth.
"You've just given me a million-dollar idea." said Jessie.
"What?" asked James.
"I could use the million bucks." said Meowth. "Can I have it back?"
"No, it belongs to me." Jessie tells him. "I'll open an exclusive pancake house and instead of using maple syrup, I'll slap on the sap. Then I'll add my own blend of limburger cheese and Cajun curry powder. Oh, and I'll call the place, 'The International House of Jessie'!"
"That sounds like a recipe for disaster." said James.
"A million-dollar disaster." added Meowth.
[Flashback ends]
"Yummy." said Ash.
"A pancake house sounds like a good idea, but it would be better off without the limburger cheese on it." said Riley.
"Riolu." added Meeko, gripping her stomach.
"Plus, I think they need to get the sap humanly and locally, making sure that they at least save some sap behind for the Pinsir, Heracross and Butterfree." Riley added as Meeko nodded in agreement.
"See! Even the baby Twerpette and her Pokémon agrees with me." said James.
"We decided the pancake house idea was a little too flippy to fly so we came up with a better idea and built our own mechanical Pinsir to suck up all the sap in the forest." said Meowth, then laughs as their machine sucks up the sap.
"We'll use it to create a new taste sensation, Rocket Sauce!" said Jessie.
"Then when we put the stuff in bottles and sell it at all night convenience stores…." said Meowth.
"We'll be dripping in money!" said James.
"Interesting." grumbled Riley.
"Now I get it." said Brock as Team Rocket laughs. "The Pinsir invaded Heracross territory to look for food 'cause Team Rocket's been draining all theirs away."
"If they steal all the sap, the whole forest could be destroyed!" said Misty.
"Oh, I hate Team Rocket." said Riley.
"This is exactly what happens when humans use nature selfishly without thinking about the consequences first." said Woodruff.
"That's right!" said Ash. "The Heracross and Pinsir got along fine until the three of you showed up here. You want to get rich, so you bring in your sucking machine and throw off the whole balance of nature!"
"Who cares about that?" asked Jessie. "The only balance we care about is the balance in our checking account!"
"This situation is about to get sticky!" said James.
"Lickitung, I choose you!" shouted Jessie.
"Licki!"
"Victreebel, I choose you!" shouted James.
"Victree!" screeched Victreebel. James ran for the bushes, hoping that Victreebel wouldn't try attacking him when he pops his head out.
"That's funny, I wonder why Victreebel's not attacking me." said James.
At the tree, Victreebel was slurping up the sap. "Hey, you're eating up all our profits you yellow bellied sap sucker!" James said, angrily when Victreebel decided to finally attack him. "Sorry, I didn't mean it, let me go please!"
"What are you doing?" Jessie asked Lickitung. "You're supposed to lick the twerp, not the sap!"
"The real Pokémon are out to lunch." said Meowth, then grabs the remote. "This looks like a job for Super-Pinsir!"
Super-Pinsir stops draining the sap and jumps down from the branch, ready to fight the quartet and Woodruff. "This little suck bucket was made for collecting sap, but it's a pretty mean crusher in a pinch." said Meowth. The machine growled as the horns on its head were ready for pinching.
"I choose you, Bulbasaur!" shouted Ash.
"Bulbasaur!"
"Go Bulbasaur, Razor Leaf attack!" said Ash.
"Bulbasaur!" shouted Bulbasaur, releasing Razor Leaf on Team Rocket's robot.
"Huh?"
"Bulbasaur thought it could stop our Pinsir by putting its petals to the metal." taunted Meowth as James laughs.
"That was a good one." said Jessie.
"Hurry, Bulbasaur, use your Vine Whip." said Ash.
"Bulba!" Bulbasaur shouted, using Vine Whip. "Bulba, Bulbasaur!" Its Vine Whip wrapped around the Pinsir Robot and spins it around, making it dizzy.
"Your turn, Pikachu. Thundershock Attack!" shouted Ash.
"Pika…chu!" shouted Pikachu, releasing Thundershock from his body.
"That's right, fill her up Pikachu!" said Meowth, watching a gauge fill up with electricity. "This thing absorbs electric attacks and when it gets enough stuff, it can shock you right back. Let the bug juice flow!"
Electricity flowed back towards everyone, shocking them to the ground. "That cut those saplings down to size." said Jessie.
"Zap them again, zap them again, harder!" James said, encouraging Meowth as he laughs.
"Now, we'll show those Twerps what it's like to have a real power failure." said Meowth, activating the robo-Pinsir's power.
"It's coming this way. What do we do?" asked Misty, freaking out.
"I would say, run away! But my body is too scared to get up and move." said Riley.
"Riolu!" said Meeko, nodding. They screamed in terror as Robo-Pinsir gets closer and closer to them. Ash closed his eyes, waiting for pain to happen when suddenly he didn't feel any pain.
"Huh?" said Ash, looking up to see Heracross stopping robo-Pinsir in its tracks.
"Heracross!" it said, pushing robo-Pinsir back.
"It's Heracross." said Ash.
"Pika!" cheered Pikachu.
"Our Pokémon hero!" said Riley.
"Riol!" cheered Meeko.
"Heracross!" said Heracross, struggling against robo-Pinsir.
"Come on!" said Meowth. "A Mechanical Pinsir should be able to crush that Heracross like a bug!"
Robo-Pinsir's eyes glowed green, before it started pushing Heracross towards the others. "Heracross!" it said, being pushed back. "Heracross!"
"Hang it there, Heracross!" Ash called out.
"Don't back down from Team Rocket!" shouted Riley.
"HERACROSS!" shouted Heracross, being more forceful when it pushed back hard.
"Keep pushing, you're doing great!" said Brock.
"You're our new hero, Heracross!" Misty exclaimed.
"I thought you hated all the bug type Pokémon." said Brock.
"Heracross isn't creepy!" Misty tells him. "You go!"
"Come on, guys, if we hurry, we can take that Robo-Pinsir's sap tank away." said Ash and they ran to the back of the machine.
"We've got to stop them, Meowth!" said Jessie.
"Do something quick, Meowth before they get away with our hard-earned sap!" added James.
"I'm trying to, but this stupid stick is stuck!" said Meowth, trying to move the stick on the remote.
"Argh! Give me that thing!" Jessie said, taking the remote away from Meowth.
"Let me handle this, Jessie." said James, trying to take the remote away from her.
"Hey, get your paws off, I want to run it, give it back!" demanded Meowth until Jessie and James broke both sticks on the remote.
"Huh?"
"Ah! You broke my toy!" screamed Meowth. Unknown to Team Rocket, Woodruff and the quartet already took the tank off of Robo-Pinsir as it still fought against Heracross.
"Okay, we got all the sap back, Heracross and we're ready to go!" said Ash.
"So, you can kick that Robo-Pinsir back towards Team Rocket." said Riley.
"Olu!" added Meeko.
"Heracross!" it said, then starts lifting up Robo-Pinsir. "HERACROSS!"
Woodruff and the quartet gasped as Heracross' strength. "HERA…!" said Heracross, holding the robot in place as Team Rocket gasped.
"Hera…cross!" shouted Heracross, throwing Robo-Pinsir up in the air.
"Alright!" cheered Ash as Team Rocket whimpers when Robo-Pinsir lands in front of them and explodes.
"Looks like Team Rocket's bugging out again!" shouted Team Rocket as they blasted off into the sky.
"Heracross!" Heracross said, pleased with its strength.
"Heracross wins the match!" said Ash.
"You're our hero!" said Misty and Riley.
"Huh?" the small group said, hearing rustling behind them.
"The Pinsir!" Ash said, seeing them popping up in the bushes.
"Hey, now that Team Rocket's gone, the Pinsir are coming back." said Brock.
"Well, you know what they say, there's no place like home." said Misty.
"Yes, that's right, Misty." said Woodruff. "These Pinsir won't need to leave their habitat, and the Pokémon can live in harmony."
"Time for you Pinsir to come home now!" Riley called out and all the Pinsir started to smile as they eat their fill of sap.
A Butterfree chatters happily as it and the Heracross eat the sap from their tree. "Now the Butterfree and the Heracross can live in peace again, here in their own forest." said Ash.
"That's right, Ash. The trees are safe. The balance of nature's been restored and things are back to the way they should be." said Woodruff.
Heracross walks up to the quartet and Woodruff. "Heracross." it said to Ash.
"You were awesome, Heracross." said Ash. "You stood up to the Pinsir and everything worked out perfectly."
"You're a great leader." said Riley.
"You were really brave, Heracross." said Misty, timidly. "And I take back all the creepy things I said about bug Pokémon."
"Hera!" said Heracross, blushing at Misty's words.
"You're a great Pokémon and we'll really miss you." said Ash.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu, agreeing with Ash.
"Make sure you protect the other Heracross and the Butterfree as well." said Riley.
"Riolu!" said Meeko.
"Togeprii!" added Togepi.
"Goodbye! See you!" the quartet said, turning to leave.
"Thank you and good luck on your Pokémon journey." said Woodruff, as Heracross had a forlorn look on its face.
"Thanks, Woodruff." said Ash.
"Goodbye. See ya!" As the quartet walked down the road, Pikachu and Meeko heard something behind them. "Pika? Riol?" they asked, looking behind Misty and Brock.
"What's the matter, Pikachu? Meeko?" asked Ash.
"What's wrong, you two?" asked Riley.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said, pointing behind them. They turned around to see Heracross following them out of the forest.
"Hey, what's Heracross doing way out here?" asked Ash.
"Did you pick up on Heracross' emotions before or after we left the forest?" Riley asked Meeko.
"Riol." said Meeko, telling her trainer.
"Interesting." said Riley.
"Pika." said Pikachu, wondering as well.
"Where're you going, Heracross?" Misty asked. "Aren't you staying with your friends?"
"Heracross!" it said, shaking its head.
"I don't get it, what does it want?" asked Misty.
"I don't know. You think maybe it wants to come along with us?" asked Brock.
"Is that what you want, Heracross?" Ash asked. "Do you want to come and be with me?"
"Heracross! Heracross!" Heracross said, excited to go on the journey.
"Quick, Ash, get out a Pokéball." said Riley.
"Alright! Ha-ha!" said Ash, throwing a Pokéball and captures Heracross. "Heracross chose me!"
"Pik-Pikachu!" Pikachu said, smiling.
"Awesome!" said Riley.
"Olu! Riolu!" said Meeko. Misty, Brock and Togepi laughed and giggled, happy that they have a new friend.
Narrator: Now, Ash, Riley, Misty and Brock continued their journey with a new addition to their circle of very special friends.
Riley: Soon enough, I'm gonna have to make room. In case I get a new Pokémon, the next time people see me.
Narrator: What kind of Pokémon do you think you'll get?
Riley: I don't know. I hope that it's as cute as Meeko.
Meeko: Olu?
Riley and Narrator: What? We think that you're cute!
Meeko, blushing: Riol, Riolu.
Narrator: That's because it's the truth, Meeko.
Riley: Yeah.
