Mythical Era: I Evolved Into A Stellar-Level Beast
Above the sky, a kilometer-long giant fish flew over the city, ignoring the bombardment of missiles. In Australia, a kilometer-long world-destroying python destroyed cities, devouring millions of people, and slowly left under the explosion of several nuclear bombs. Coming to this dangerous world, Jack Clark, who unexpectedly obtained a salamander clone, was a little confused. What could he do with a palm-sized hexagonal salamander? Make videos to earn money? Catch shrimps in a stream? Or… make it evolve into a giant beast? A hexagonal salamander, also known as a hexagonal dragon, with unlimited evolutionary abilities, gradually evolved into a mythical world-destroying beast. From a hundred meters long, it turned kilometers and tens of thousands of meters long… And under the synchronized strengthening, Jack Clark's original body also grew stronger, with increasing strength and speed, and even…

1 Chapter 1: The Terrible World

"In 2005, on February 19th, a giant beast over a hundred meters tall, resembling a Furious Ape, appeared in the Eastern Capital Suburbs and rampaged through the city."
"After causing hundreds of thousands of casualties, it was besieged and killed by three fleets from the Federal Base."
"During the battle, the military consumed one megaton nuclear bomb, a hundred and fifty cruise missiles, and lost fifteen fighter aircraft…"
"On June 1st, 2005, a three-kilometer-long Giant Beast resembling a whale appeared in the sky above Hangover City, causing widespread panic again."
"Fortunately, the Giant Beast was not aggressive and only lasted for fifteen minutes without causing too much damage."
"During this period, the Giant Beast disappeared after ignoring various Federation missile bombings…"
"On August 3rd, 2005, a kilometer-long Giant Beast, like a Dust Serpent from mythology, appeared in Lar City by the Aohedi Sea, causing massive destruction."
"The incident caused millions of casualties and ultimately ended with the Giant Beast leaving with a light injury."
"In this incident, the military consumed three megaton nuclear bombs, three hundred and twenty other missiles, five warships, and countless ammunition."
"Thus, the New Era began…"
It was the evening of 2055.
In the room, a youth was sitting in front of the computer, looking serious as he carefully read the Mythical Era information he had found online.
After a long while, Jack Clark rubbed his temples with a headache: "What a dangerous world this is."
Having been awake for half a day, Jack had discovered that the history, technology, and civilization of this world were very similar to those of the previous one after sorting out his memories.
But everything took a turn a few decades ago when some Giant Beasts, like those from mythology, descended.
As these Giant Beasts appeared and then vanished, the entire world changed, and Cultivators, who had been lost after the advent of firearms, rose again.
After decades of development, some powerful cultivators could withstand missile bombardments, sink aircraft carriers with their own bodies, tear apart Giant Beasts, and become terrifyingly powerful.
Under such circumstances, cultivation became widespread among various Federation States while researching more advanced technology and weapons.
Of course, these things were not enough to give Jack a headache.
Although it was his first time experiencing resurrection, he quickly accepted these things with his adult mind, even if the world was a bit chaotic.
But the problem was…
At this thought, Jack turned to look at the glass water tank nearby.
More accurately, Jack was looking at a white, ten-centimeter-long salamander with limbs and six pink horns in the tank, lying on a stone.
With economic development and improving living standards, the pet market in this world has become increasingly prosperous and diverse.

Cats and dogs were common, keeping lizards and pythons were normal, and some even liked to keep ants and insects as pets.
For example, Jack's previous self had a rather different hobby – keeping an Amphibious Six-horned Salamander and had even put it in well-decorated crystal glass cabinet.
Of course, that wasn't the main point.
The main point was that Jack now felt he had two bodies.
One as a human sitting in a chair, and the other with the strange sensation of having four claws on the ground and breathing through gills.
However, compared to the control he had over his human body, the smaller body made him feel slightly uncoordinated, so he didn't dare move while lying on the stone.
It was as if a single-core processor suddenly had to handle tasks for a dual-core processor and couldn't keep up with the calculations.
Besides, the sudden appearance of another 'body' left Jack clueless and bewildered.
He didn't know what caused this situation—the reason for his resurrection—or whether the death of the Six-Horned Dragon would affect him.
In addition, what was the use of such a tiny 'body'? It wasn't even enough meat for two bites.
For a moment, Jack sat in the chair, thinking a lot, but… it all seemed useless.
Just then, a boy with a tiger's head pushed open the door and shouted to Jack in front of the computer: "Bro, it's time for dinner."
"Oh, I'm coming." Jack stood up.
In this life, he was a high school junior. Although only a junior, he was already considered an adult by this world's standards. He had a thirteen-year-old brother, and his mother was a low-level manager at a Metal Refining Company.
As for his father, he had reportedly died of illness a long time ago.
He died a normal death with no accidents.
So, there was no chance for a melodramatic plot where Jack and his brother learn the truth about their father's disappearance as a child and avenge him.
Of course, there was also no possibility of reuniting with a father who was actually of noble birth, who left for some special reasons when Jack was a child and returned more than ten years later. When Jack Clark arrived downstairs at the dining room, his brother Glenn Clark had already sat down, and next to him was a gentle and pretty woman in her 40s.
Looking at Jack who had sat down, Doris Raven asked with concern, "How are you feeling now, Jack? Can you go to school tomorrow?"
"I'm fine now."
Doris was relieved, nodded, and said gently, "It's good that you're fine, you really scared us this time."
Unlike his physically strong and athletic brother, Jack Clark has been sickly ever since he was little.
A slight cold would cause fever and flu, more severe disease would be nephritis or pneumonia.
He suddenly had a high fever last night, and by the time he was found in the morning, the temperature already soared to 41 degrees. He got the fever down after being intravenously treated at the clinic for a whole morning.
That situation scared Doris and Glenn, thinking that he might not make it. Even the doctor suggested that he be quickly transferred to a big hospital.
The fact was that he really didn't make it, which led to Jack's awakening. However, nobody knew this except him.
Doris advised, "Remember to take your medicine after dinner."
"Yes, I know."

"And, if you feel uncomfortable anywhere, let's go to the hospital."
"Um." To avoid any accidents, Jack appeared more silent at the dinner table.
But his personality had always been rather introverted and gloomy, so neither Doris nor Glenn Clark noticed anything unusual about him.
After dinner, the patient Jack Clark was sent back to his room. Glenn Clark went out to play with his friends and carried a basketball. Doris was left to clean up the kitchen alone.
When he returned upstairs, Jack Clark was still holding a plate of thawed shrimp meat. This was food for the Six-legged Salamander… no, it should be called 'his' food.
In the fish tank, a ten-centimeter-long, white, Salamander Avatar lifted its head, its sesame-like black eyes gazing at the giant device descending 'from the heavens'.
Due to its poor eyesight and size, the arm extending over the glass tank, as well as the clamp more than 20 centimeters long, appeared colossal in its field of vision.
The clamped shrimp meat was half the size of its head.
Jack Clark controlled the Six-legged Salamander to open its mouth and devoured the shrimp meat.
This feeling of feeding himself was a bit unsettling, so he unconsciously licked his tongue.
Um, the taste seemed not bad. The Salamander Avatar blinked its white little head.
Although the size of the Salamander Avatar is small, its appetite is quite big. It usually needs to eat about one-third of its body's weight before stopping.
But this time…
Jack Clark continuously picked up pieces of torn shrimp meat with the clamp. The fed Salamander Avatar kept opening its mouth to devour the food, like an insatiable black hole, only taking in without giving anything out.
In just a short while, the Six-legged Salamander swallowed food equivalent to its size.
In Jack's perception, the food entered its stomach and quickly vanished due to its terrifying digestive ability.
Meanwhile, as huge amounts of food were swallowed, starting from the Salamander Avatar's stomach, a warm feeling spread throughout the Salamander's body, followed by itching.
The whole body was itching.
The itching made Jack feel uncomfortable, so he unconsciously opened his mouth… gag!
The Salamander's voice sounded like the crying of a child, only very faint, so faint that it was barely noticeable.
Then, right in front of Jack's astonished eyes, the Six-legged Salamander grew visibly in size and reached eleven centimeters in length.
One centimeter might not seem like much, but this growth occurred in the blink of an eye.
Seeing this digestion and growth speed, Jack Clark was not scared; on the contrary, his eyes brightened.
If it was just an ordinary Six-legged Salamander with a size limit of about thirty centimeters, what difference would it make even if Jack could control it with ease? What's the use?
This world is one where nuclear bombs are detonated everywhere and cultivators can sink aircraft carriers with their powers.
But now, it seems like he has seen the light called the future…
Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Jack Clark fetched more shrimp meat to thaw from the downstairs refrigerator. As long as the Salamander Avatar's body indicated that it could still eat, he continued feeding.
Soon, the shrimp meat equivalent to the size of the Salamander disappeared again.
It wasn't until this point that Jack felt a faint sense of satiety emanating from the Salamander's body.
Meanwhile, the feeling of growth emerged once again. A warm sensation spread throughout the Salamander Avatar's body with itching following suit. Its body grew measurably with the naked eye.
Then, a row of transparent text appeared before Jack Clark's eyes.

2 Chapter 2: Talent
Translator: 549690339
"Your Salamander Avatar has gained an evolution point by consuming a large amount of food."
"Attribute page generating…generation completed."
As two rows of transparent text emerged, a transparent page frame appeared before Jack Clark's astonished eyes.
Physique: 7 (Ordinary People 10)
Strength: 7
Agility: 6action
Spirit: 10
Talent: Soul Split
Avatar Species: Six-legged Salamander[Ordinary amphibious creature, 30 centimeters in adult length, combat power 0]
Level: None
Talent: None
Evolution value: 1/10[When the evolution value is full, evolution can be initiated]
"Attribute page…" Jack Clark slowly breathed out, suppressing the excitement deep in his heart.
As a semi-otaku who used to enjoy reading novels, watching anime, and playing games, Jack Clark naturally accepted this unexpected development.
Moreover, he probably knew why the Six-legged Salamander had become his avatar.
It should be related to his talent of Soul Split.
Glancing over the data in each category, Jack Clark wasn't surprised by the fact that his attributes were lower than ordinary people in every aspect except spirit.
His body was truly weak.
Then his gaze fell on the data of the avatar below, and the corner of his mouth slightly lifted.
With an attribute page that only existed in fantasy and an avatar that could accumulate evolution by simply eating, he felt that he could get by effortlessly in this life.
"Cough…calm down, calm down." After the excitement, Jack Clark gradually calmed down.
Next, he studied the attribute page for a while, but unfortunately, he didn't gain anything.
… …
At 8 o'clock in the morning, on a pedestrian walkway by the street, Jack Clark, dressed in a white short-sleeved shirt, black trousers, and leather shoes, walked towards school facing the morning sun.
It has to be said that the school uniform in this world was quite nice. Wearing it made Jack Clark look a bit more spirited.
At this time, his brother Glenn Clark said enviously, "Bro, you look so handsome in this school uniform."
Due to his weak constitution since childhood, Jack Clark always had a pale complexion, appearing fair and clean. His facial features were so delicate that he looked better than many female students.
Though his 1.7 meter stature was not very tall and he was slightly thin, his upright posture when walking had an air of elegance, giving off the vibe of a frail and beautiful youth.
"It's not bad." Jack Clark was quite satisfied with this, glad that he wasn't short and ugly after crossing over.
In contrast, his younger brother Glenn Clark appeared more rugged. At only thirteen years old, he was already 1.75 meters tall with a sturdy body and a tiger-like appearance.
Today was not only Jack Clark's first day of school, but also Glenn's. The two brothers were both starting school—one in junior high school and the other in high school.
Also, their schools were in the same direction. Glenn's school was closer, about twenty minutes away on foot. Jack's high school was about half an hour away, separated by a district.
"Bro, I heard that after entering high school, you guys can start learning True Martial. If you have a good talent, you may even be trained by the country."
Jack Clark shook his head: "It's not easy to reach the standards for national training."
Glenn waved his fist: "Bro, I believe in you. You can definitely do it."
"…Do you think my sickly body has a good cultivation talent?" In contrast to Glenn's blind trust, Jack Clark had no confidence in himself.
After the beginning of the New Era, the world experienced more than a decade of chaos. Countries around the world united to form the current United Federation, maintaining decades of stability.
The city they were in was called Mist River City. Most of the population was of Chinese descent, and they implemented a twelve-year compulsory education.
When they reached high school, as their bodies matured, everyone would begin to learn the basic True Martial Arts set by the Federation.
At this stage, most people's lives took different paths.
If one had cultivation talent and was willing to develop in the martial arts, they would enter martial cultivation classes in their first year of senior high school, focusing on martial arts while also studying the humanities.
Others who practiced basic True Martial Arts for a semester, but lacked talent, could focus on the humanities or sciences and enter university with excellent grades.
Of course, whether in martial arts or academics, talented individuals were in the minority. Most people would step into society after finishing high school.
And since martial arts cultivation was involved, a good physique was naturally essential.
That was why Jack Clark did not hold much hope for his own cultivation talent.
However, he was not discouraged. With an attribute page and an avatar capable of evolving, he still had the potential to stand at the peak.
Jack Clark and Glenn parted ways halfway, and after walking for more than ten minutes along the pedestrian walkway, Jack arrived at the school gate of South Sky Martial Height.
Today was the start of the school year, and sedans dropping off students nearly filled the streets.
Due to the 'recovery of spiritual energy,' the technological advancements of this world were also developing, albeit slowly. Overall, they were only slightly more advanced than Earth.
As a result, the streamlined designs of these luxury cars were still dependent on gasoline and electricity, not yet advanced enough to become hover cars.
Following the flow of people, Jack Clark leisurely entered the school. Guided by the names on the notice board, he finally arrived at the classroom for the second floor's Senior One, Class 3.
At this time, there were already some students in the classroom, making it somewhat noisy.
Jack Clark scanned the room and casually chose a seat near the window in the back row, thinking to himself, "I didn't expect to go through high school again after crossing over."
Soon, the classroom was filled with about forty students, with roughly a one-to-one ratio between males and females.
At 9 o'clock, a woman in her thirties entered the classroom, wearing business attire and a stern expression. She wrote the name 'James Clark' on the blackboard as she walked in.
Jane stood on the podium and looked down seriously at the students below, saying, "My name is James Clark, and from today on, I will be your class teacher."
Then she directly pointed at two students sitting in front row: "You, temporarily be the Class Leader."
"You, temporarily be the Martial Art Committee Member. Any problems?"
The two students she pointed at, a boy and a girl, looked excited. The boy stood up and said, "Teacher, I have no problem."
The girl also nodded: "I have no problem."
"Good. Later, you two find a few people and go to the equipment room to get the learning materials distributed."
"Yes, teacher."
Then she looked at all the students and said indifferently, "Today is the first day of school, so there's not much to do, mainly getting to know the class you are in."
"After you receive your learning materials, you can move around freely. You can go home or visit the school. We will start classes officially tomorrow."
"Also, the seats you are in now are the ones you'll use from now on. They won't change under normal conditions."
"There are corresponding keys in the drawer under the desk. You can lock your learning materials inside, so there's no need to carry them back and forth every day."
"That's all."
After she finished speaking, the class teacher named Jane left decisively, making a clean break and leaving the students dumbfounded.
Jack Clark was included. He didn't expect to meet such a badass class teacher on his first day of high school in this world.
Or was the educational style in this world just like this?
Pointing out a few people at random to be Class Leader and Martial Art Committee Member, giving a few instructions, and then leaving without any further ado, as though staying a moment longer would waste her life.
Under normal conditions, shouldn't each student be asked to introduce themselves on stage, allowing everyone to become familiar with each other and quickly integrate into the class atmosphere and new environment?

3 Chapter 3: Relationships
Translator: 549690339
Watching the class teacher leave the classroom, the other students instinctively look towards the leaders of the class in the front row.
There's no helping it, after all, they are the class leader and the Martial Arts Committee Member.
Seeing this, these two students are not stage-frightened. They walk up to the stage, and many male students' eyes light up as the female class leader is quite beautiful.
"My name is Crystal Leinster. As the Class Leader of Class 3, I hope everyone will actively cooperate with our class tasks in the future."
Having finished speaking, this female student named Crystal Leinster scans her gaze over everyone. She emanates a mysterious powerful aura which makes many students unable to meet her gaze.
Then, the other male student smiles and says, "Hello classmates, my name is Mason Watkins, and I'm going to be in the same class as you all for the next semester."
"I hope we can help each other and work hard to get through our first beautiful semester."
"Now we are going to pick up our study materials, and we need some classmates to join us. I wonder who is willing to help?"
"I will."
"Me too."
"And me…"
After Mason Watkins finishes speaking, many male students actively stand up, showing great enthusiasm.
Senior One is the best age. Although this girl named Crystal Leinster is slightly aloof and has a strong aura, who can deny her beauty?
Soon, six male students and one female student volunteer to contribute to the class, and they all follow the two out of the classroom.
At this time, the male student in front of Jack Clark claims, "They even decided on the class leader and the Martial Arts Committee Member without asking our names, I'm sure there's some kind of quid pro quo going on here."
"A quid pro quo, just for a class leader position?" Jack Clark was somewhat surprised.action
The male student in front turns around and says meaningfully, "My friend, you are underestimating the role of high school class leaders. It's not that simple."
Upon finishing, this male student introduces himself cheerfully, "Hey, brother, my name is Justin Welan. I studied in the third intermediate during junior high, you?"
Jack Clark simply replies, "Jack Clark, I was promoted from Forest Mount No.1 Middle School."
"Forest Mount No.1 Middle School, eh? The scenery there is nice, I visited there once."
Jack Clark looks at this straightforward-looking youth and is curious, "Justin, what's the difference between high school class leaders and junior high ones?"
"The difference is huge."
Justin Welan says somewhat enviously, "According to the country's regulations, everyone can learn True Martial Arts after high school, but you need to know that there are dozens of students in a class, and one to two thousand in a grade."
"Under such circumstances, True Martial teachers definitely can't pay full attention to all students. They all teach dozens, even hundreds of students at a time."
"At this time, the identities of the class leader and others become prominent. As class leaders, they can avail genuine reasons to get one-on-one teaching by the teachers."
"At that time, a little guidance from the teachers about cultivating techniques or personal experiences could help them gradually surpass other classmates."
"The better their performance is, the more attention they will get from the school, even from official channels. There will be resource inclination, and they will progress faster step by step."
"I see." Upon hearing this, Jack Clark now understands why his classmate in the front row suspected collusion.
These crucial positions were assigned directly by the class teacher without even asking for the candidates' names, which was indeed odd.
At this time, Justin Welan whispers, "That's not all, I heard that the class leaders who pursue martial arts in high school receive monthly contribution reward points."
"Contribution points, what are those?" Jack Clark is somewhat puzzled, 'he' indeed didn't know about this.
Justin Welan shakes his head, "It's an important resource for cultivating martial arts. I heard about it from my brother, who asked me to earn some when I get to high school if I had the chance."
Justin Welan seems to be the warm-hearted type, after finishing his chat with Jack Clark, he turns back to strike up a conversation with the female student in front, quickly mingling with the classmates around him.
Not just him, but the other students in the classroom all feel the novelty of their new environment on the first day of school.
Only a few, like Jack Clark, sit there quietly observing their surroundings.
Soon, Crystal Leinster and Matt Watkins return with students holding various packages.
After distributing textbooks, a lot of students leave the classroom, walking around the campus to familiarize themselves with it, especially Crystal Leinster and Matt Watkins who are the most popular.
Jack Clark, however, chooses to go home as he needs to buy food for the Six-legged Salamander.
"How much is this shrimp?" Jack Clark stands in front of the seafood stall at the farmers' market.
"Twenty RMB per catty."
Jack Clark pauses slightly and points to the small belt-fish in a basket on the ground, "How about these small belt-fish?"
"Five RMB."
"Give me ten catties of small belt-fish." As only Doris has an income, there's a lot of pressure. Jack Clark naturally tries to save where he can.
After making a scan code payment, Jack Clark lifts ten catties of fish, as well as some greens for lunch and dinner and leaves the market.
Doris usually goes to work very early and returns very late, so preparing dinner usually falls on Jack Clark, while Glenn takes care of the dishes.
Returning home, it's just past ten. Glenn hasn't returned yet.
Jack Clark freezes most of the small fish in the fridge, takes the remaining one catty of fish, removes the organs, washes them clean, and chops them into small pieces.
After all, it's ultimately for himself, so it's good to keep it clean.
The Salamander Avatar had been starving since morning. On the way home, Jack Clark could feel a strong sense of hunger emanating from the avatar.
When Jack Clark carries a plate of fish upstairs, the white Salamander's small, black sesame-like eyes spin around, looking somewhat adorably dazed.
Jack Clark moves his consciousness, focusing on the Salamander.
Immediately, the formerly lazing Salamander rises, its tiny limbs moving as it scuttles over to the plate and begins eating.
Jack Clark didn't know if it was due to a lack of Spirit Power or the fact of sharing a consciousness. When he focuses his attention on himself, the Salamander Avatar will be in a state of weak consciousness.
While it doesn't shut down, its reactions become slower.
Similarly, when his consciousness controls the avatar, his human body reacts in a similar slower manner, unable to control both bodies freely at the same time.
As for this issue, for now, he doesn't know how to resolve it, and can only look forward to developing the ability to multitask smoothly.
While Jack Clark is deep in thought, the Six-legged Salamander under his control eats chunks of fish, one bite at a time.
The moment these pieces of fish enter its stomach, they are dissolved and digested at an astonishing speed, turning into faint warm currents spreading through its entire body, becoming nutrients for growth.
Then, the white Salamander, with hexagonal patches on its cheeks, grows visibly larger.
The digestion ability of the Salamander Avatar is terrifying. Each time it eats its volume's worth of food, it grows by one centimeter, then repeats the cycle.
It only enters a buffering period after accumulating 1 Evolution point.
According to Jack Clark's observations, the avatar's size can increase by four centimeters per day, obtaining 2 Evolution points, and consuming two catties of food. In just a few days, it could meet the requirements for the first time evolution.
"I wonder what the Six-legged Salamander will evolve into, a Giant Six-legged Salamander? Or evolve into a Hexagonal Dragon?"

4 Chapter 4: True Martial
Translator: 549690339
In the morning before leaving for school, Jack prepared the morning meal for the Salamander Avatar.
However, as they were about to leave, their mother Doris Raven, who hadn't gone to work yet, stopped them.
At the old courtyard gate, Doris gently adjusted Jack's collar and looked at her eldest son, who was now as tall as her, with a sigh.
"Mom, is there anything else?" asked Glenn Clark, Jack's younger brother, somewhat puzzled.
Doris looked at her two sons and smiled gently, "There's nothing, I just wanted to remind you both not to feel too much pressure at the beginning of the school year."
Glenn didn't care, "It's just junior high school, I can easily keep up with the lessons."
Looking at her younger son, Doris gave a bitter smile. She wasn't worried about Glenn, who had always been smart and active and had both good grades and a healthy body.
Her concern was about her eldest son, Jack. After entering high school, one could begin cultivating True Martial Arts, but not everyone had the talent to do so.
Jack was weak and sickly since childhood and didn't seem like someone suited for Martial Arts. The greater the hope, the greater the disappointment, and if he faced a setback…
Jack said calmly, "Mom, don't worry, I understand."
"…Alright then." Doris opened her mouth to say something but ended up not saying anything more.
After waving goodbye to their mother, Jack and Glenn walked to school together.
On the way, they saw many students wearing uniforms heading for school as well, some alone, some in groups laughing and playing, while some rode bicycles.
Schools in the Federation were divided into districts, and all students attended their nearest school, so many of them wore the same uniform as Jack and Glenn.
Inside the classroom, class leader Sherry Lesser and Martial Art Committee Member Matt Watkins had already arrived early, and many classmates were surrounding them, chatting and making the atmosphere lively.
Just as Jack sat down, Justin Welan came up from the front and whispered mysteriously, "Yo Jack, I found out why Matt Watkins is a class leader."
…Since when have we become so familiar? Jack thought to himself but asked curiously all the same.
"Why?"
"They say that the class leader's parents are both strong cultivators. The class teacher must want to curry favor with her family."
Alright, so both parents are strong cultivators.
Jack asked, "What about the other one?"
Justin replied quietly, "Matt Watkins is no simple person either, his family is wealthy and influential. Maybe they gave gifts to the class teacher before school started and made some arrangements."
It turned out that class divisions really existed in any world.
"Don't go around talking about this," Jack reminded Justin in the end.
Regardless of whether it was true or false, as a student, it was best not to gossip about the class teacher behind their backs – in case the rumors reached their ears.
"I know; I only told you and haven't disclosed it to anyone else," Justin winked, seemingly expressing his trust in Jack.
At that moment, a Math Teacher entered the room, and the whole class fell silent.
The cultural classes in this high school world were not very difficult. After attending just one class, Jack became distracted, although in reality, he was splitting his attention to control the Salamander Avatar eating at home.
The three morning classes passed quickly, and soon it was noon.
After lunch, they took a short break.
All the high school juniors gathered and headed to the cultivation area located behind the school, which consisted of more than a dozen high-rise buildings labeled A, B, C, and D, surrounding a central stadium.
Following their class, Jack and others arrived at the cultivation classroom on the fifth floor of Building B.
In the 500-square-meter cultivation classroom, a man in his thirties with a stern expression stood on a high platform, with a giant screen measuring 5 meters high and 8 meters wide behind him.
When all the students were in place, the man slowly opened his eyes, and his sharp gaze made everyone feel as if their eyes were stinging.
Hiss!
Many students were taken aback, not expecting this teacher's gaze to be so terrifying.
The middle-aged man spoke solemnly, "My name is Lori Parma, and I'll be your True Martial teacher for the first semester."
"Next, I will explain to you what True Martial is."
As he spoke, Lori Parma pointed to a pile of cement boards prepared in advance on the stage: "Can you see the cement boards? I need some male students to help carry them up here."
After a brief pause, Martial Art Committee Member Matt Watkins took the initiative by going first, followed by several other male students, including Justin Welan.
There were six cement boards, each one meter long and wide, and ten centimeters thick, probably weighing more than a hundred kilograms each.
Even with two people carrying it together, they still had a hard time lifting the boards, which on the other hand, seemed to show that they had considerable strength.
As Lori Parma instructed, Matt Watkins and the rest of the students stood the cement boards up on the table, forming a wall of cement braces, nobody knew what for.
Standing behind the stage with his arms crossed, Lori Parma looked down at the youthful faces of the students and said indifferently: "What is True Martial? True Martial is transforming the fake into the real."
"A few decades ago, martial arts and cultivation were just folk legends, regarded as nothing but fancy tricks with no real combat effect."
"Even after twenty years of hard training, it could not withstand a single bullet."
"But everything changed with the New Era, as some pioneers discovered that they could turn myth into reality."
"And this, is True Martial."
Boom!
As his voice fell, a terrifying aura exploded from Lori Parma's body, like a sleeping Giant Beast suddenly awakening.
The powerful presence was so substantial that the surrounding air emitted a dull explosive sound, forming distorted waves of wind, making his clothes flutter loudly.
Lori Parma's figure flickered on the high platform, as if teleporting three meters in front of the table, his right hand clenched into a fist, gathering enormous strength, and each punch roared out.
Because of the immense power, transparent shockwaves appeared in front of his fist.
Boom!
Under the incredulous and shocked gazes of most people, the six stacked cement boards exploded with a deafening noise, smoke, and dust filled the air.
Under the force of this formidable strength, numerous shattered stones and mud blocks scattered like cannonballs, hitting the wall more than a dozen meters away, leaving a small pit when they smashed and shattered.
Fortunately, Lori Parma's punch was directed sideways, otherwise, the students would have been peppered with these stone fragments, which packed the power of bullets.
Gulp!
Even Jack Clark swallowed his saliva this time.
Although the information he had found on the Internet mentioned that powerful cultivators could sink aircraft carriers and tear apart Giant Beasts, the shock of witnessing it firsthand was far more significant than mere words could describe.
Moreover, the thickness of the six cement boards was almost a meter, and even an anti-equipment sniper rifle might not be able to penetrate them, but they were now crushed by a single punch.
This display of tremendous martial power made Jack's blood boil and filled him with anticipation for the upcoming cultivation class.
On the platform, Lori Parma stood with his hands behind his back, looking at the excited faces below, and was quite pleased with the effect of his demonstration.
Once the smoke and dust had cleared, he slowly said, "Now, let's move on to the first step of cultivation."
"Everyone, later please meditate according to the patterns displayed on the screen behind me. We will cultivate for one hour, followed by the Body Casting Skill training class."
"By the way, who is the class leader?"
"Me." Sherry Lesser from the front row took a step forward.
"You, huh? Full of spirit Qi, not bad."
After a glance at the girl, Lori Parma nodded and said, "Later, you will explain to them what Foundation Establishment is. When someone meets the criteria for Foundation Establishment, they can come to find me."
"As for the Martial Art Committee Member of this class, you will be responsible for maintaining order during future cultivation classes."
"Yes, teacher." Matt Watkins responded loudly.
Lori Parma then turned around and left, just as cleanly and efficiently as James Clark, the class teacher on the first day, leaving most of the students with a bewildered look on their faces.
That's it?
Why did these teachers always seem so busy?

5 Chapter 5: Genius

After the teacher left, class leader Sherry Lesser stepped onto the platform.
She pressed somewhere on the podium and the big screen behind her slowly split in the middle, revealing a pure white lotus stone carving behind it.
The lotus almost took up half of the wall. The patterns on the petals were clearly visible, emitting faint bizarre lights.
Looking at everyone below, Sherry calmly said, "True Martial is too overwhelming, it's not a cultivation method that ordinary people can practice, therefore Foundation Establishment is required."
"For Foundation Establishment, you need to meet two requirements at the same time – active Spirit Power and Qi Blood flowing throughout the body."
"The carving on the wall is called Lotus Stand Meditation Method, which contains the realm of thought of advanced cultivator, it can help you all begin practicing mediation quickly, to enter the focused mindset."
"When you can clearly delineate the Lotus Stand with your Spirit Power, it will mean that you meet the spirit standard."
"As for achieving smooth Qi Blood flow, the standard is to complete Ten Rotation Body Forging Decision cultivation within half an hour, only when you meet both standards can the foundation be built."
While Sherry was explaining, most students in the class seemed calm, as if they already knew these things.
Only a few students, along with Jack Clark, were hearing about this for the first time. They wore a contemplative expression on their face, taking everything in seriously.action
"Remember, being able to establish foundation and cultivate True Martial is the greatest act of kindness the country can bestow upon us ordinary folk, not everyone has an Innate Awakening."
"Alright, let's disperse and begin our first Meditation Cultivation practice." After finishing her words, Sherry turned and stepped off the podium to find an empty spot where she sat cross-legged.
Seeing her, everyone else did the same.
Jack sat at the edge of the crowd and as instructed, he focused on the stone carving, causing the lotus to magnify in front of his eyes.
'Spirit Power, is ethereal, impossible to perceive or touch for common people who have never practiced cultivation before.'
But when the lotus occupied his entire vision, he instinctively closed his eyes and for the first time, clearly felt the presence of Spirit Power.
In the endless darkness of consciousness, a transparent lotus, outlined only by faint lines, responsively revolved in his mind.
'Is this the meaning of quick introduction? Amazing!' Jack exclaimed.
Though he's practicing for the first time, he understands how difficult it is for an ordinary person to begin to perceive their own Spirit Power through meditation.
This is what happens when you can remain seated.
Under normal conditions, ordinary people may start to daydream as soon as they close their eyes, unable to focus and let alone meditate.
It's easy to imagine how much time this carving saved them.
But then, when Jack tried to clearly envisage the real body of the lotus, he felt the progress to be extremely slow and spirit taxing.
Only after half an hour, he felt stars in his eyes and exhaustion took over his spirit, forcing him to pull out of the meditation state.
'It's so exhausting.' Jack rubbed his temples.
Only after he took a small break and felt better, he looked around to realize that most of his classmates had also quit the meditation.
Some were sitting there, lost in thoughts, some intently staring at the stone carving, and like Jack, they too looked tired, as if they've exerted themselves spiritually.
But there were still those who continued their meditation.
For instance, the ones in the front row – Sherry Lesser, Matt Watkins and another nine—four men and three women. Justin Welan was among them.
After a while, Justin Welan and five others also quit the meditation state one after another, leaving only Sherry, Matt, and another male student.
Even though no one reminded them, everyone remained silent so as not to disturb them.
"Meditation class is over. We will begin the Body Forging Cultivation Class soon." As these words echoed from the loudspeaker on the wall, Sherry and the other two slowly opened their eyes.
At this moment, Justin Welan, who Jack didn't know when had sat in front of him, whispered: "The duration of the first meditation session indicated someone's talent."
Jack turned to look at him. This guy seemed to know quiet a lot.
Justin Welan envied, "Don't look at me. Although my mental talent seems better than yours, it still falls short in front of those three guys."
"I can confirm that, at least, they each have manifested three petals."
"And they don't even seem tired. Their spirit power is seemingly abundant, so they might be able to meditate a whole lotus in just two or three days."
"Three petals!"
Jack Clark was shocked. He hadn't even fully visualized a single petal, while others were already at three. Was the gap this big?
Justin Welan patted Jack Clark's shoulder, comforting him, "Don't be surprised. This is the difference between a genius and an ordinary person. They can't be compared."
"Although they didn't start cultivating ahead of time, they used some resources to nourish their spirits. Their innate conditions are much stronger than ours."
"But Jack, don't get discouraged. If we meditate quickly, we still have a chance to surpass them."
As soon as he finished speaking, the big screen closed again, lit up, and a middle-aged man wearing white training attire appeared. He slightly lowered his body and began to make gestures."
"Everyone, pay attention."
Sherry Lesser in the front row slowly said, "Next is the Body Casting Skill, the 18 positions are practiced in a specific sequence, which can unblock our whole body's channels and has some body-building effects."
"When the Essence Blood Stone in the cultivation room is activated, we can easily feel the Blood Qi in our bodies and quickly get started."
"During the cultivation, we need to use our spirit power to drive that Blood Qi to follow the cultivation cycle. A single cycle is completed when one round of cultivation is finished."
"Alright, let's start."
On the big screen, the middle-aged man started to cultivate. His movements were slow and every position he made was very standard, giving Jack Clark a feel of practicing Tai Chi and ancient yoga."
However, when the sixth position started, the difficulty suddenly increased. Many positions completely violated human physiology, and Jack Clark felt even goosebumps watching the last few positions."
A few minutes later, when some people started practicing with the middle-aged man on his second round, a human-head-sized red Crystal Stone lit up on the ten-meter-high ceiling of the cultivation classroom, bathing everyone in a crimson light.
Under the red light, Jack Clark felt a heat wave throughout his body, his blood seemed to boil, and subconsciously he began to cultivate."
The first position was relatively simple, the second position was somewhat difficult, tolerable, the third one…
Hiss!
Just when he was doing the third position: half-squatting with the right leg stretched out, hands stretching forward and backward, bending over, Jack Clark suddenly felt a sudden pain in his waist's fascia."
The spasmodic pain made Jack Clark turn pale and he dared not move for a while."
Only after a while did the pain gradually decrease. Jack Clark, who was in a cold sweat, dared to start practicing the fourth position."
At the same time, as Jack Clark continued cultivating, he felt his blood getting hotter, and a faint 'Qi' following the flow of his blood all over his body.
Feeling this faint 'Qi Blood', Jack Clark was taken aback.
He didn't dare to be negligent. The little spiritual power he just cultivated quickly restrained it, making this faint Qi Blood revolve with his cultivation…
At this time, everyone was cultivating, even if many people had crooked postures, there were still about a dozen good ones.
For example, class leader Sherry Lesser and a few female students, they were also cultivating along with the teaching on the big screen at this time. Their movements were unfamiliar, but still decent."
Plus, their bodies full of flexibility were pleasing to the eye. Many male students were enthralled, forgetting about their own cultivation."
However, the first one to complete a turn was a male student. He was drenched with sweat after cultivation, with faint white steam coming out from his head. It took him ten minutes.
Compared to him, Jack Clark found that the talent of his body seemed really bad."
He was still struggling to bend his waist backwards and curve a single leg, doing the ninth movement…

6 Chapter 6 Heavenly King
Translator: 549690339
The studying pressure in this world is not significant, high school starts cultural classes at half past eight in the morning, martial cultivation classes at 1:30 in the afternoon, and school ends at four in the afternoon.
After school, you can participate in club activities or go home.
As the school bell rings, the school suddenly becomes noisy, with thousands of students pouring out of the various teaching buildings.
Soon, students can be seen everywhere playing soccer, basketball, tennis, and even crowding the corridors, while those who go to club activities are even more lively and boisterous.
For most high school students, cultural classes are boring, martial cultivation classes are difficult, and club activities are more interesting.
Especially for those sophomore and senior students who have chosen cultural classes without cultivation talent, they exude a youthful atmosphere.
They sing praises of youth and enjoy the relaxed campus life.
Compared to the lively literature area, the martial sects area is much quieter, with each individual training in the cultivation room, creating a feeling of two completely different worlds.
Jack Clark walked out of Building B with a single shoulder bag, rubbing his shoulders.
From the excitement of True Martial to the present physical soreness and mental exhaustion, it took only a few short hours.
The meditation method doesn't need any explanation, as it consumes mental energy, but at least it helped him enter directly with the school's assistance, and his first attempt at the class was average.
However, the progress of the Body Casting Skill was too slow.
It wasn't until school was over that he could barely complete the eighteen positions, feeling the so-called Qi Blood under the glow of Essence Blood Stone, and his overall progress in the class was the worst.
Not counting the fastest one, the slowest one also completed the first rotation in more than thirty minutes, while the others were in more than twenty minutes.
And during the one-hour Body Forging Cultivation Class, the fastest person practiced four times before stopping, and their practice duration became shorter and shorter.
After his practice, he felt a shortage of Qi Blood and some physical difficulty in keeping up.
In other words, his spiritual cultivation talent was decent, but his body had a weak physique, and his talent was poor.
Or maybe his spiritual talent was actually quite good, even considered upper-middle-class under the circumstances of soul splitting, if his soul was complete…
Jack looked up at the burning sun and a faint smile appeared on his face, "It's okay, being able to cultivate is enough, and my overall situation is not much different from my expectations."
He had anticipated this situation, although he had also fantasized that he was a genius.
But reality is cruel, his overall cultivation talent is very average, ranked in the lower-middle-class among the forty-person class, let alone among the thousands of students in the whole grade.
However, if talent is not enough, cheating can make up for it.
Thinking about this, Jack called up his attribute page with a thought.
Physique: 7.1
Strength: 7
Agility: 6
Spirit: 10.1
Talent: Soul Split
Cultivation Methods: Lotus Platform Meditation Skill[Progress 5/100, Body Casting Skill[1/100]
Avatar's Body: …
On the attribute page, the Meditation Method and Body Casting Skill he learned today were added, with a progress note behind each.
In addition, both his physique and spirit attributes have increased by 0.1, probably due to the effects of cultivation. He didn't expect that even the basic cultivation methods would have the effect of enhancing attributes.
Moreover, Jack tested that once the cultivation method is recorded by the attribute page, his body will not forget it.
For example, when he practiced the Body Casting Skill for the first time, he had to stop after ten positions due to too much pain and discomfort.
After a short rest, when he started practicing again, his body smoothly performed the first nine positions without any difficulty.
This proficiency and ingrained phenomenon in his body after learning brings Jack much closer to those 'geniuses.'
Moreover, clearly seeing his cultivation progress gives him more motivation to practice.
"No rush, take it slow."
With a relaxed smile on his face, Jack walked out of the school at an unhurried pace. The weather in September was hot, but the city's greening was well done. Jack Clark walked under the shade of trees on the pedestrian walkway, facing the market with a gentle breeze.
At this time, vehicles come and go on the street, with tall buildings lining the roadside. Many billboards feature celebrity advertisements, and various goods fill the shops on both sides, making the place bustling.
While passing a junction, the hungry Jack Clark bought a fried egg pancake and a bottle of juice.
Back home, at five o'clock.
First, Jack took out some fish meat to defrost in the microwave, then prepared the vegetables for dinner, blanching and slicing the twice-cooked pork and crushing ginger, green onions, and garlic.
After completing these tasks, he took out the defrosted fish meat and cleaned it before cutting it into small pieces for ease of eating.
In the second-floor room, the Six-legged Salamander, controlled by Jack's consciousness, gnawed on the fish meat. It had grown to 18 centimeters long and twice as thick.
Accompanied by the digestion of the food in its stomach, the Six-legged Salamander grew visibly thicker and longer, completely defying the biological growth rules after eating to fullness twice.
Its Evolution value had also accumulated to 5 points.
As long as it continued to eat for another two or three days, the Salamander Avatar would be able to start its first evolution, which Jack was looking forward to.
The well-fed Salamander Avatar lay lazily on the table, showing human-like laziness on its face. Jack then turned on the computer to search for information about True Martial.
He didn't know if it was because he burned too severely at that time, almost burning 'him' to death and causing brain cell damage, but in the past few days, Jack found many memories had become blurred.
Only some memories, including his mother, brother, and daily habits, were clear, making him feel like a cultivation novice today.
Normally, in this world where martial arts prevail, even if his family was ordinary and couldn't access high-end information, he shouldn't be ignorant of common knowledge.
Now, with Jack's precise search on the internet, a large amount of information about True Martial appeared, including its origin and development history.
He also found the information he wanted to know about the divisions of the True Martial Realm. It was known as the True Martial Nine Layer Heaven.
The First Layer was the lowest, and the Ninth Layer was the strongest, but how it was strong was not explained in detail.
Besides that, there were many videos of martial arts hall masters performing on the internet.
Some people performed punching through walls, jumping dozens of meters high between skyscrapers, or being enveloped by flames outside their bodies.
There were also scenes of body-refining practitioners who were able to withstand submachine guns, sniper rifles, and even survive rocket bombardments without injury.
After browsing the exciting videos, he remembered the main task and searched for an introduction to foundation building in high school with a high like rate.
"Currently, high school foundation building is divided into Meditation Methods and Body Casting Skill."
"The Body Casting Skill was simplified and developed by True Martial Heavenly King ten years ago. He combined the essence of various martial arts schools and explored the mysteries of the human body."action
"This method can help ordinary people stretch their fascia, dredge their meridians, transport Qi Blood, and maintain a state of full Qi Blood in a short period."
"Studies have shown that the Body Casting Skill has good effects on people under 20 years old, and the best results are during high school."
"With the Lotus Platform Meditation Skill, one can quickly build a foundation, which has increased the number of cultivators in the country by more than ten times in the past ten years, significantly enhancing the national strength."
"Unfortunately, the Lotus Platform Meditation Skill has only one grade, suitable only for foundation building. It doesn't compare to the Grade 9 Divine Lotus Meditation Method of Sky King Denny Kaye…"
Below this post, there is the user's classification of talent.
He believed that, under the cultivation of Meditation Method and Body Casting Skill in high school, students who completed the Foundation Establishment within a week had top-notch talent, within half a month had average talent, and within a month had subpar talent.
As for those who completed the Foundation Establishment in more than a month and within two months, he didn't recommend them to continue the cultivation path.
Because, with the assistance of various school resources and systematic cultivation, people who take more than a month just to establish their foundation have no cultivation talent at all.
Even if they forcefully cultivate, they will have no hope of breaking through the Third Realm in their lifetime.
And in the cultivation path, like sailing against the tide, one would only retreat if they didn't advance.
Instead of spending a lifetime of energy on cultivation, only for their Qi Blood to deteriorate and live a lonely life in old age, it's better to be an ordinary person and enjoy life.
"True Martial Heavenly King, Sky King Denny Kaye."
After reading this post, Jack Clark was most impressed by these two people's names.
He didn't know what kind of people they were or how strong they were to create such foundation-building methods that benefitted countless people.

7 Chapter 7 Jane Aiken
Translator: 549690339
At dinner that evening, Doris Raven asked Jack Clark about his cultivation progress for the day.
His younger brother, Glenn Clark, was also curious.
However, since it was only the first day of learning and Jack had just started with the basic Foundation Establishment Cultivation Methods, he simply mentioned a few things and ended the topic.
After dinner, Jack took a bath and returned to his room, sitting cross-legged on the bed, starting his meditation.
As he closed his eyes in concentration, a faint lotus flower slowly emerged in his dark mind's eye.
According to the post, the First-grade Lotus Platform Meditation Method is a process that continuously purifies and condenses Spirit Power when visualizing this lotus flower during meditation.
Condensing an ordinary person's loose and intangible Spirit Power into a 'real' existence that can weakly interfere with matter is the key to Guiding Qi into the body for Foundation Establishment.
As for what Guiding Qi into the Body is, the post did not elaborate, but it mentioned that once they reached this step, school teachers would naturally tell them.
There are twelve petals in the lotus flower, and Jack had spent half an hour in the afternoon meditation class to condense more than half of a petal.
Now, as he continued to cultivate, the petal slowly became more complete.
Whoosh!
After more than half an hour, Jack slowly opened his eyes, his expression somewhat tired, but satisfied, as he had completely manifested a petal of the lotus flower.
However, this time his skill proficiency only increased by 4 points, one point less than in the afternoon, he wondered if it was because it was his first time cultivating with the help of the meditation chart.
But at this rate, even if he only gets 4 points each time and cultivates twice a day, he expects to make a breakthrough in about ten days.
Moreover, after this cultivation session, his Spiritual Attribute increased by 0.1 again.
Next, Jack practiced the Body Casting Skill in his room.
Although there was no Essence Blood Stone light to help, with the attribute page present, Jack was still keenly aware of the Qi Blood within his body while practicing the Body Casting Skill.
In physical cultivation, he controlled the Qi Blood with his Spirit Power, which subtly strengthened his physique where it passed and took thirty-five minutes for the first round.
Then he practiced it again, taking thirty minutes this time, with skill proficiency increasing by 2 points.
However, this time his physical attribute only increased by 0.1, half the effect of carrying Qi Blood for one turn in the afternoon.
After practicing twice consecutively, Jack was exhausted, feeling drained both physically and mentally.
His physique was still too weak, he was unable to carry Qi Blood for two turns.
With a sigh, Jack drank some hot water and fell into a deep sleep on the bed.
He was very motivated towards this Cultivation Method that could grant him transcendent powers.
Even if he started slower due to his physique, it didn't matter, he had the attribute page to fix his skill proficiency, and there would be gains as long as he worked hard.
If it wasn't for the fact that cultivating once was so exhausting and required a long recovery time, he would have wanted to cultivate twenty-four hours a day.
The next day, Jack had just walked into the classroom when he saw everyone discussing their cultivation progress.
Some asked how many petals the other has manifested in meditation, while others were concerned about how to practice the Body Casting Skill faster and more enduringly, feeling that the process of cultivation was difficult.
There were also a few girls who, from their complaints, seemed to have given up on cultivation.
Each time they practiced, they felt sore all over, exhausted, and saw stars in their eyes after meditation, nauseated and wanting to vomit. These issues clearly indicated a lack of cultivation talent.
Jack took his seat, and Justin Welan in the front row leaned over and asked, "Jack, how's your progress with meditation and the Body Casting Skill?"
"Not bad," Jack replied casually.
Justin persisted, "How much is not bad?"
"You guess."
"We're good brothers, and you're making me guess? It's just the progress of the Foundation Establishment Cultivation Method," Justin complained with a heartbroken expression.
"You didn't say either, so why don't you go first and tell me your progress?" Jack remained unmoved.
"What's there to hide?"
Justin humbly replied, "My talent is very ordinary. I've only managed to meditate to the third petal, and the Body Casting Skill can barely be practiced for half an hour to carry two Qi Blood turns."
"Last night, I only practiced six times, and then I was so tired that I went to sleep."…Suddenly, Jack didn't feel like talking to this guy anymore.
It took half an hour to transport two turns with the Body Casting Skill, which meant it could be cultivated once every fifteen minutes, and up to six times in a row. The Meditation Method was also twice as fast as his.
Justin asked curiously, "Jack, what about you?"
"I'm way worse than you; I only completed the first petal for the Meditation Method, and it takes me thirty minutes to transport one turn of Qi Blood." Jack's progress seemed average in comparison to Justin, so he didn't hide anything.
But after hearing this, Justin hesitated for a moment, "That doesn't sound right, Jack. I remember it took you almost an hour yesterday to barely complete one transportation cycle, didn't it?"
"Maybe it's because I was inexperienced during the first cultivation, but I got much better at it during the second cultivation at night," Jack casually replied.
"…I see." Justin nodded thoughtfully.
The morning cultural class went by in a flash.
At noon, Jack picked up his meal at the canteen and found a corner to sit down. Before he started eating, Justin excitedly followed him over.
Justin said excitedly, "Jack, the ranking of the entire grade of freshmen has been released. Can you guess our class leader Sherry Lesser's ranking?"
"There's a ranking for this too?" Jack was a bit confused.
Though he had heard about college campus beauty rankings, he didn't expect there to be a ranking for high school freshmen after just being introduced to cultivation.
"Jack, don't underestimate this ranking."
Justin shook his head, "Our martial arts high school has over 1800 freshmen this year, and all of them are practicing the Foundation Cultivation Method. Only geniuses can stand out."
"Moreover, the ranking only records the top 100, and it's not easy for anyone to get on the list."
"For example, Jane Aiken from Class 1 has visualized eleven petals already, and she can transport seven turns using the Body Casting Skill within half an hour. She is ranked first."
"I think in a day or two, she will be the first one to succeed in foundation building."
"…Alright, I'm a loser." Hearing about this exaggerated progress, Jack didn't know what to say.
It took him half an hour just to barely transport one turn, while other people can do seven turns in the same amount of time. Their Lotus Platform Visualization had even reached the stage of manifesting eleven petals.
The gap was so huge that Jack couldn't even feel jealous.
Seeing that Jack didn't say anything, Justin, who thought Jack was feeling down, quickly comforted him, "Jack, don't be discouraged; this is just the foundation-building stage."
"Cultivating quickly in the Foundation Cultivation Method doesn't mean they have a high compatibility with True Martial Arts."
"Even if we are slower than them in foundation building by ten days or half a month, as long as the compatibility with our cultivated True Martial Arts is high, we can quickly catch up with them."
"There's compatibility in True Martial Arts? What's that?" Jack was a bit surprised.
"Uh… Actually, I don't know much about it either. My brother just mentioned it to me casually before."
Justin coughed, "Guess what ranking Sherry Lesser has?"
"Hahaha, you'll never guess it." Not waiting for Jack to guess, Justin started laughing and eagerly said.
"Sherry Lesser is only 67th, 67th, can you believe it? I'm dying of laughter."
"That woman was so arrogant yesterday, and I thought her talents must be amazing, but she's only ranked 67th."
"Hahaha… Jack, you should have seen how long I laughed when I saw the ranking."
Cough!
Jack glanced at the young girl who had been walking past them and suddenly stopped behind Justin. Seeing her increasingly cold expression, he subtly changed the topic.
"Justin, how did you know about all this? The cultivation progress seems to be known only by the individual. And who ranked them?"action
"You didn't know?" Justin looked surprised.
"The freshman ranking is displayed on the school's official website. Everyone who follows the website knows about it."
"As for the cultivation progress, they revealed it themselves when other people asked them in the morning, and someone compiled and ranked them."
"Although the ranking is not very accurate and keeps changing every day, it also shows their potential talent, and many teachers are paying attention."
After finishing, Justin shrank his neck mysteriously, "Strange, why do I feel a little cold…"

Translator: 549690339
Looking at the excited Justin Welan across the table, Jack Clark discreetly kicked him under the table.
However, the kick wasn't too hard, and Justin didn't react. Just as he was about to continue speaking, a cold voice came from behind him.
"Classmate, is the 67th rank that funny?"
Instantly, Justin stiffened, recognizing the voice of their class leader.
Justin's laughter froze, and he awkwardly turned his neck. His face suddenly beamed with a smile: "Ha, hahaha… It's our class leader! Class leader Sherry, would you like to sit with us?"
His enthusiasm showed no sign of the laughter he had just made at her low rank.
"I'm only ranked 67th, so I don't dare to sit with this classmate."
With her hands folded across her chest, Sherry Lesser gave a cold, laughing look, glanced at the handsome youth opposite her, and then looked down at Justin, saying lightly.
"This classmate, I remember your name is Justin something, right? What's your rank on the new student list?"
"Rank? What rank?" Justin feigned confusion.
Seeing him play dumb, Sherry scoffed, "What, you dare to mock others behind their backs, but you don't dare admit it? Weren't you just laughing at my low rank?"
"Did I? Class leader, you must have heard wrong. You're the face of our class. How could I possibly mock you? I don't even have time to admire you." Justin spoke righteously and then looked at Jack.
"Isn't that right, Jack?"
Cough…
Jack coughed, lowered his head, and took a sip of his soup: "I know nothing."
Hearing this, Justin rolled his eyes, his gaze saying, 'Bro, you're not loyal enough.'
Jack glanced at him, responding, 'Don't struggle, she heard everything you said earlier. Even if I tried to explain, it wouldn't help.'
'In this situation, I think you might as well commit suicide.'
Humph!
Seeing the two boys' exchange, Sherry didn't say anything else, just snorted and turned away.
As soon as Sherry left, Justin's face soured, "Jack, it's over, I'm going to be on her blacklist."
Jack was not pleased, "Who told you to laugh at her behind her back? It's one thing to discuss rankings, but you actually mocked her."
"And as if that wasn't enough, she happened to pass by and hear it…" This kind of luck made even Jack shake his head.
However, one had to admit, this class leader was really beautiful.
Her long black hair was dyed purple, her face was white and clean, vivacious and gorgeous. Her already delicate features were accented with light eyeliner, making her narrow eyes even more enchanting.
She should be about 5'7″ and slender. Her short-sleeve white school uniform shirt was puffing out, at least a B, maybe even a C cup.
Her legs in dress pants were also straight and slender, and her youthful aura was only added by the vibrant energy particular to young girls, no wonder she had high popularity in class within just two days.
Based on the online rating criteria, her appearance alone would score at least a 90, goddess level.
But Jack originally thought this class leader would have a cold personality, he didn't expect her to be so fiery and not to be messed with.
"Speaking of that…"
Justin looked around mysteriously, then whispered, "Jack, do you know, the class leader has a twin sister."
"Twin! A sister!" Jack paused for a moment.
Justin nodded, "Yes, her sister's name is Mandy Leinster, also the class leader of Class 9. She's as beautiful as our class leader."
Even Jack was surprised by this piece of news; identical beauty in twins, wow…
Jack didn't know where Justin got this gossip, but over dinner, Justin shared all kinds of stories and rumors about their classmates.
Time passed just like that.
The Martial Cultivation Class in the afternoon was still held in the cultivation classroom.
In the 500-square-meter cultivation classroom, 40 students were scattered about, and no teachers were supervising them. Instead, class leader Sherry Lesser and Matt Watkins maintained order.
Maybe in the eyes of those martial arts teachers, students who weren't even at Foundation Establishment didn't deserve their attention.
However, Jack felt that, actually, since yesterday, the selection had already begun, selecting those with 'cultivation talent.'
This talent isn't limited to physique but also includes willpower and self-discipline.If a person doesn't work hard and cultivates lazily without the supervision of a teacher, even if they could cultivate True Martial Arts, they have little value in nurturing.
It's better to give up earlier rather than wasting time and effort.
Jack Clark found a corner to sit down, closed his eyes and concentrated, and quickly entered a meditative state.
…
At around four in the afternoon, accompanied by the school bell, Jack Clark, aching all over, plopped down on the floor in the cultivation classroom, panting for breath.
His shirt was soaked in sweat.
After meditating for half an hour, he took a short break and began practicing the Body Casting Skill to transport Qi Blood.
With the help of the blood light from the Essence Blood Stone he opened up behind him, he transported three turns in just over an hour, earning 3 in proficiency, 0.2 in physique, with a minimum time of 24 minutes.
Adding the 4 in meditation proficiency and 0.1 in spiritual attribute, his overall progress was not bad.
It was just that he had carried one more turn of Qi Blood, causing his physical energy to be exhausted. At this moment, Jack felt an empty and weak feeling in his body, but his channels were unblocked and smooth.
This feeling was quite strange.
"Finally, school is over."
"I'm so tired."
"Yeah, Body Casting Skill is too hard."
"Wang Gang, do you want to go to the club together?"
"I want to take a bath first."
"Then we'll leave first."
Geniuses are always few. Today Jack observed that during the first cultivation session yesterday, most of the students in the class could transport one turn in half an hour.
But today, many people still only managed two turns in one class, lasting about twenty minutes or so. There were just over ten people who finished in less than twenty minutes.
Although these people did not feel as exhausted as him after cultivation, their physiques seemed to be better, but their progress was much slower than Jack had imagined.
Of course, Jack did not pay attention to geniuses like class leader Sherry Lesser and Matt Watkins.
He was not on the same level as them in terms of talent and background, so comparing himself to them would only lead to frustration and discouragement.
Life is long, the tortoise and the hare competition has just begun, there's no need to rush.
Jack Clark rested for a while and only got up when his physical strength had recovered a lot.
Each floor of the cultivation building has a public restroom with separate sections for men and women. After taking a bath, just throw the clothes into the cleaning dryer and they will be as good as new in a few minutes.
As Jack came out of the restroom after washing and dressing, he ran into Justin Welan.
"Jack, are you going back?"
Jack nodded, "Yes, what's up?"
"Nothing." Justin shook his head, then suddenly asked, "By the way, Jack, have you been eating anything to replenish your Qi Blood these last two days?"
"Replenish Qi Blood." Jack was slightly stunned.
Seeing his clueless expression, Justin held his forehead, "I knew it."
Justin patiently explained, "The Body Casting Skill we practice is mainly used to transport Qi Blood, unblocking the channels throughout the body, and it also has a certain body refining effect."
"In this case, there is a great consumption of physical energy. For ordinary people, it's the limit to transport three or four turns in one day and practice twice a day. Any more will cause a deficit and harm the body."
"Only when the physique becomes stronger in the late period can one transport ten turns at once."
"If you want to increase the number of cultivation sessions and progress, and quickly strengthen your constitution, you must purchase some low-level resources to replenish your Qi Blood."
"Even those geniuses who rank high on the new student ranking with their innate physiques better than ours still need supplements to replenish their Qi Blood."action
Jack paused for a moment.
So that's how it is. I was wondering how those people could raise their cultivation by five or seven turns in just one day. As ordinary people, how could there be such a big difference in physique?
In fact, Justin didn't need to mention it, Jack, who was somewhat doubtful about this issue, was planning to search the internet on it after returning home.
As for forced cultivation, Jack didn't need to worry about it. He knew the issue of Qi Blood deficit and just wanted to see his own limit with the help of the Essence Blood Stone in the cultivation classroom.

9 Chapter 9: Resources
Translator: 549690339
After Justin Welan finished speaking, Jack Clark curiously asked: "How much does the cheapest resource for replenishing Qi Blood cost per serving?"
"The cheapest one?"
Justin Welan thought for a moment: "At present, there are seven types of resources suitable for our Foundation Establishment, and the cheapest is the Deer Velvet produced by Protection Group Company. A single serving only costs ten thousand."
"Taking one chunk can sustain the consumption of Qi Blood transportation for five consecutive revolutions. It's quite cost-effective."
No thanks!
When he heard that even the cheapest Qi Blood resource costs ten thousand yuan per piece, Jack Clark knew it wasn't something he could afford.
Only his mother Doris Raven had a steady income in his family.
As a basic-level management in the Metal Company, Doris Raven's monthly salary was about seven thousand yuan. After deducting insurance and family expenses, there was only a little left.
And that's with the two brothers having free education and only needing to pay for their food.
Ten thousand yuan may not be much for someone from a wealthy family like Crystal Leinster, but it's a lot of money for Jack Clark's family.
Not to mention that a serving of Deer Velvet could only sustain five Qi Blood transports. It was simply a money burner.
"Mr. Willard, thanks for the reminder. I've got something to do, so I'll be going first." Jack Clark patted Justin Welan on the shoulder and left with his shoulder bag.
Am I that old?
Watching Jack Clark's retreating figure, Justin Welan felt disheveled in the wind. He didn't know how he suddenly became an old man when he was clearly still a pretty youth in the flower of his youth.
As Jack Clark passed by the school playground, he pondered on what Justin Welan had said earlier.
Apparently, Justin Welan must have noticed him forcibly transporting Qi Blood in the afternoon and that he looked significantly weaker after his cultivation, so he deliberately waited outside for him.
Although they had only been together for a few days, the two got along well and had some understanding of each other's situation.
For example, Justin Welan knew that Jack seemed to be unclear about many cultivation common sense, so he specially came over to remind him not to damage his body by cultivating too eagerly.
He also told Jack that if he really wanted to speed up his cultivation progress, he could buy some resources to supplement his Qi Blood.
Unfortunately, Jack Clark lacked the money.
And even without the resources, he was confident that he could establish his foundation within a month with his current cultivation progress.action
However, he remembered Justin Welan's kindness and treated him like a true friend. His address to Justin changed from "classmate" to "Old Willard".
Well, it couldn't be helped; the lad just looked so mature.
After five o'clock, Jack Clark returned home with two shopping bags and first prepared a large plate of fish meat.
In the fish tank, the Six-legged Salamander- which had already grown to 22 centimeters in length- raised its head, looked at the piece of fish meat that fell from the 'sky', and bit into it.
The taste buds of the salamander were different from humans. Through Jack's consciousness, he could feel the delicate, tender taste of the fish as it entered the salamander/avatar's mouth. Delicious…
Well, it was the salamander/avatar's taste buds that found it delicious. A normal person eating cold, raw frozen fish would only taste its fishiness and coldness.
After finishing the large plate of fish meat, the salamander/avatar swelled to 24 centimeters long, with its head now the size of an egg, more than twice its size a few days ago.
It's grown faster. Jack looked at the accumulated 7 evolution points and nodded in satisfaction.
"Bro, I'm back!"
It was a little past six o'clock when Glenn Clark, drenched in sweat, burst into the house with his backpack. It seemed that he'd been playing around with his friends on the way home.
"You're back."
Jack Clark, who was cooking in the kitchen, didn't even turn his head: "Go wash your hands and help set the bowls and chopsticks."
"Alright."
Glenn Clark tossed his backpack on the sofa and went to wash his hands before coming to the kitchen to help.
With a bowl and chopsticks in hand, Glenn Clark approached Jack Clark curiously: "Brother, you've been cultivating for two days. How does it feel? Have you become very powerful?"
Jack Clark glanced at him and said irritably: "Do you think I'm cultivating some divine art that could make me fly in the sky and escape the earth in just two days?"
Glenn Clark chuckled, "Hehe, isn't True Martial really powerful?"
Jack Clark didn't need to pretend at all, and he naturally integrated into this family, perhaps because of the memories he absorbed. The only thing that felt strange to him was suddenly having a mother.
After all, he was already in his twenties before his reincarnation.
By 6:30, when the dinner was ready, Doris Raven also came back from work. She asked Jack about his study progress and whether he was adapting well to the school at the dinner table.
At 7 pm, Jack Clark, who had finished taking a bath, sat on the bed ready to cultivate.
At that moment, there was a knock on the door, followed by Doris Raven's voice: "Jack, are you asleep yet?"
"Not yet."
Doris Raven then pushed the door open and entered with a bank card in hand.
Jack Clark looked at her in confusion: "Mom, is there something you need?"
Gazing at her son who was seated cross-legged ready for cultivation, Doris Raven gently said: "Sister Vernon told me at work today that it's necessary to replenish Qi Blood after starting to cultivate True Martial Arts in high school."
"A few years ago, when her son was in Senior One, she bought him a Qi Blood resource called Sword Tiger Paste."
"She said it worked well, but it was a bit expensive. In the end, her son didn't have much cultivation talent, so he chose to study in the cultural class instead."
Doris Raven then handed the card to Jack Clark: "I'm not familiar with these things either, and I can't help you with your cultivation."
"But some of your classmates must be using these resources. You can ask them which one is better."
"There's over 90,000 yuan in this card, and the password is your birthday. If you feel like you need it, just go and buy it."
Jack Clark looked at the offered bank card, and fell silent for a moment. This amount of money should be all the savings that Doris Raven had accumulated over the years.
"Mom, I don't need it."
Jack Clark shook his head slightly and pushed the card back: "A classmate told me about the Qi Blood resources today too, but I don't need them."
"You don't?" Doris Raven was puzzled.
Jack Clark nodded: "There are only two situations where one needs Qi Blood resources. One is when they lack talent and need the resources to make up for their foundations."
"The other is when they have great talent, and the replenishing of Qi Blood is to speed up the cultivation process to establish the foundation ahead of others, striving to always be a step ahead."
"My situation is that I have some cultivation talent but not a genius, so I can just follow the normal cultivation procedure without the need to compete with others."
"Jack, are you sure you don't need Qi Blood resources?"
"Don't worry about the money. If you think it's not enough, I can borrow some from Sister Vernon." Doris Raven was hesitant, as she knew her son's physique had always been poor.
Jack was slightly moved and yet helpless: "Mom, I really don't need it."
In the end, after Jack's persuasion, Doris Raven reluctantly believed that he indeed didn't need to replenish his Qi Blood and left with a trace of doubt.
Jack didn't lie to her; he really didn't need it.
Even if he used all 90,000 yuan, it would only accelerate his Foundation Establishment by half a month. After all, once the Body Casting Skill was completed, he would still need to meditate on the Lotus Stand.
Moreover, cultivating True Martial Arts was only the beginning after building the foundation.
As a result, it wasn't worth it to 'spend the family fortune' to rush for this little time.

10 Chapter 10 Gene Fusion
Translator: 549690339
The next day, Jack Clark had just entered the classroom and sat down when Justin Welan in front of him came over.
"Jack, did you know? Jane Aiken, who is ranked first, completed her Foundation Establishment yesterday afternoon and has already gone to Building C today to take up True Martial arts."
"That was fast." Jack was a little surprised.
Establishing a foundation in just two days, even if they're from a wealthy family with abundant resources, requires immense talent. This can be observed from their class leader Crystal Leinster.
Justin Welan nodded somewhat enviously: "Not just her, I heard that the top ten in this list will all be completing their Foundation Establishment in the next few days."
"Including our class leader. It is said that she has visualized up to the tenth petal, her Qi Blood circulation is eight times in half an hour, and she is expected to establish her foundation day after tomorrow at the latest."
Jack then curiously asked, "What about you, Mr. Willard? What is your cultivation progress?"
"Me? I am doing quite alright."
Justin Welan gave a laugh and then complained, "Jack, can you stop calling me Mr. Willard? I am such a good-looking guy, you could call me Justin."
Jack nodded, "No problem, Mr. Willard."
"Justin, it's Justin!"
"I got it, Mr. Willard."
"…Jack, I'm going to stop talking to you for three hours!" Seeing his obstinance, Justin Welan angrily turned around and started chatting with the little beauty at the front desk.
At this, Jack could only smile.
He merely seems mature and is not aged, so why should he make a fuss about being called Mr. Willard. Is he going to take a knife and slash himself?
Probably because some people have already completed their Foundation Establishment, Jack noticed that everyone was very focused and serious in today's Cultivation class.
However, it was a pity that talent did indeed exist.
Some people had been practicing for three days but were still making no progress, some were progressing well, and others were making astonishing progress.
For example, our Martial Art Committee Member Matt Watkins.
Jack didn't know the progress of his visualization, but Matt Watkins was able to transport Qi Blood seven times in half an hour, and it seemed that he did it with ease, without using his full strength.
We don't even need to mention Class Leader Crystal Leinster. She managed to transport Qi Blood eight times in less than half an hour, then found a place to sit cross-legged and continued meditating.
Their spirit power was incredibly abundant, which was very different from Jack, who needed to recover for half a day after every meditation session.
Obviously, they must have also used some kind of resources that could replenish or activate their spirit power.
After a thoughtful moment, Jack managed to transport Qi Blood twice today and didn't continue his cultivation. This took him 20 minutes each time, with proficiency improving by 2, and his physique attribute increasing by 0.1.
The progress in cultivation was average, but the improvement was steady.
As the school bell rang, Jack, who hadn't sweated much but felt a bit tired, packed his things and prepared to leave.
"Jack, wait a sec.", Justin Welan came jogging over.
"What's up?"
Justin came panting, hehehe, "It's only four o'clock now, what's the rush to go back? Why don't you join the Flower Tea Club with me?"
Jack looked at him strangely, "You still have time to join a club? Our class leader is about to establish her foundation."
Although Jack had never asked about Justin's family background, he felt that Justin's family was probably quite well-off, at least not lacking money. Justin also has good talent, isn't this the time to work hard to establish his foundation early?
Justin didn't seem to care, "No rush, no rush, my brother said, the path to cultivation lies in finding the right balance and not being too obsessed with short-term gains."
"It's normal for the class leader to establish her foundation a few days earlier because she has better talent. There's no point in comparing with her, and…" When he got to this point, Justin suddenly stopped talking.
He even looked back, as if he was afraid that Crystal Leinster would suddenly appear again, which made Jack want to laugh a little.
In the face of Jack's strange gaze, Justin changed the subject, "Jack, don't you think cultivation is too dull? It's more pleasant to look at beauties, it helps to relax your spirit."
"Let me tell you, after my observation over the past few days, the beauties in the Flower Tea Club are ranked number one in martial high school, there are many high-quality beauties in it."
"Not to mention the senior sisters from sophomore and senior years, there are also many juniors who are beautiful young girls like us."
"Just imagine, on a hot summer day, sitting with a group of youthful beauties drinking tea, chatting… doesn't it feel very comfortable and cool?"
Justin seemed to have already imagined himself surrounded by a group of beauties. His face was intoxicated, so he didn't see the increasingly strange look in Jack's eyes.
"So, Jack, what do you think?"
Ahem!
Jack coughed lightly, "Your suggestion is good but I have to return early to attend to something, you should go by yourself."
"Oh, by the way, look back."
Upon saying this, Jack patted Justin Welan's shoulder and gave a nod to the girl standing behind him with her arms crossed, then turned around and left.
Behind me!
Justin was shocked and quickly turned around, just to see Crystal Leinster glance at him flatly, drop the word "Disgusting", and just walk past him.
Justin was a bit stunned. He didn't say anything bad about Crystal Leinster this time. How come he became disgusting?
…
The next morning, Glenn Clark, standing upstairs, shouted, "Bro, I'm going out to play with my friends and won't be home for lunch."
A voice came from upstairs, "Go ahead."
Today is Saturday, there's no need to go to school, but Doris Raven has to work overtime and isn't at home.
In the room, the Six-legged Salamander, which was already twenty-eight centimeters long, was lying on the desk.
The Salamander had a wide and flat head. Its tender white body looked quite delicate. It had a tail like a small tadpole, and overall it was rather adorable.
Its Avatar Evolution value had accrued to 9 points, and its body size was approaching the species limit.
The Salamander was seen eating fish meat piece by piece. The fine teeth in its mouth were chewing, making a chewing sound.
While eating and digesting, with the Salamander's stomach as the center, a faint flow of heat spread throughout its body, beginning a new round of growth.
With the visible disappearance of the fish meat on the desk while it was eating, two plates of food, which were more than twice the volume of the Salamander itself, were gone within half an hour. After two rounds of growth during this time, the Salamander had grown to a length of thirty centimeters.
At this time, a line of text appeared in front of Jack.
"Your Salamander Avatar has gained one Evolution point through a large amount of food."
"Your Avatar has reached the growth limit of the species, and it can no longer grow by continuing to eat. The current accumulation of Evolution points has reached 10 points, which meets the Evolution requirements."
"Would you like to start Evolution?"
"Remark, the potential of this Avatar is quite low; after evolution, it won't significantly enhance the host's combat power. You can choose to absorb a gene from another species to improve its potential during the evolution."
Seeing that last line of remark, Jack sat up abruptly, his face even showing a touch of joy: "Absorb other species' genes to enhance potential!"
Jack had always been worried about the problem of the Salamander Avatar being too weak.
Although it can break through the species limit by evolving, but what's the point even if it grows to one meter or ten meters long? It's still flesh and blood, can it withstand a bullet?
Forget about combat power, those weak limbs would probably find it hard to run quickly with the weight of that huge body then.
But now…action
11 Chapter 11 Evolution

Jack Clark hesitated slightly, then asked softly, "How do I operate this genetic absorption, and are there any restrictions?"
After a few days of research, Jack found that the attribute page didn't have any intelligence. It would only send a reminder when certain conditions were met.
When it came to the prompt being triggered, it would also respond to his questions.
Sure enough, a row of transparent text slowly appeared.
"To start the Evolution, the Salamander Avatar must completely devour the creature whose genes are to be fused, absorbing its strongest genes to optimize itself."
"Note, each time you start Evolution, only one type of gene can be fused."
"Only one type of gene can be fused each time, but even so, this is good enough." Jack licked his lips and suppressed the excitement in his heart.
At this moment in his mind, countless thoughts emerged, thinking about which creature's genes he should fuse into the Salamander Avatar.
With each Evolution able to fuse one type of creature's genes, Jack was confident that after a few more Evolutions, the Salamander Avatar would become extremely powerful.action
First, he ruled out elephants, lions, and tigers.
Not to mention whether he could get these animals, but even if he did, he wouldn't be able to eat them in a short time. Besides, these animals actually have average genetic potential.
Although elephants are the largest animals on land, their power, speed, and agility are not outstanding, including lions and tigers.
As for the most extreme creatures on Earth, they are naturally insects.
Ordinary ants can lift objects weighing dozens of times their own body weight, something that mammals cannot do because of their small size and extreme structure.
And then there are fleas, which can instantly jump more than 200 times their body length, equivalent to a person 1.7 meters tall jumping to a height of more than 200 meters.
So, after thinking it over for a moment, Jack locked his target on insects.
However, he didn't know much about insects, but that wasn't a problem.
Jack opened his computer, entered "What is the strongest insect in the insect world" in the search page, and dozens of hot words appeared below.
The Six-legged Salamander was too weak, and its limbs could hardly support its own crawling, so Jack's first choice was to strengthen its power.
……
At nine in the morning, Jack took a taxi to the largest flower, bird, fish, and insect market in the city.
Here, all kinds of pets, whether flying, crawling, or swimming, can be found.
For example, his Six-legged Salamander pet was purchased here.
On the street, Jack walked directly into a store called Exotic Birds and Insects, and asked the young man sitting and drinking tea by the side of the coffee table, "Boss, do you have any Unicorn Beetles here?"
"Unicorn Beetle, yes." The young boss nodded.
Compared to the ant, which can lift dozens of times its body weight, the Unicorn Beetle has the title of the strongest insect, with a record of lifting up to 850 times its own weight.
This power burst far exceeds any other creature or insect.
The young boss led Jack inside, pointed to a few boxes on the shelf and introduced, "I have three types of Unicorn Beetles."
"They're the common Double-fork Rhino Beetle, the rare Tras South Sea Beetle, and the even rarer Hairy Elephant Beetle. Which one do you want?"
Of the three types of Unicorn Beetles, each is of a different size. The largest, the Hairy Elephant Beetle, is about half the size of Jack's palm and about ten centimeters long. The South Sea Beetle is similar in size.
With a glance, Jack chose the smallest one: "Boss, I want a Double-fork Rhino Beetle."
"Alright, fifty dollars apiece. Do you need to buy some feed?"
"No need."
After paying with scan code payment, Jack left the Flower, Bird, Fish, and Insect Market with a small box containing the Unicorn Beetle and took a taxi back. He was rather eager.
In the upstairs room, the Six-legged Salamander lying on the table looked at Jack as the box with the Unicorn Beetle was placed nearby.
Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Jack opened the box and grabbed the Unicorn Beetle.
Compared to the Hairy Elephant Beetle, which was about half a palm size and more than 10 centimeters long, the Double-fork Rhino Beetle was only about 5 centimeters long, not too exaggerated.
At this moment, as if sensing its fate, Jack felt a strong force straining in his hand, the Unicorn Beetle struggling.
Unfortunately, facing the fingers that held both sides of its body, it was useless no matter how strong it was, directly being held by Jack by the head and body and snapped in half.
With a click, the Unicorn Beetle was killed and its head and body separated.
Then, it was slowly eaten by the Salamander.
At the same time, Jack called out the attribute page, moving his thoughts and clicking on the "Start Evolution" option at the bottom.
Boom!
With the confirmation, Jack felt a long-held fiery power burst in the Salamander Avatar, sweeping through its entire body like a torrent.
Under this Evolution Energy, the Salamander Avatar's bones, muscles, and even deeper genes were changing, and its cells were undergoing furious division and compression.
Meanwhile, as the Salamander Avatar began its Evolution, a flow of heat emerged in Jack's body, strengthening his muscles, bones, and cells.
This change took him by surprise.
However, compared to the torrent-like Evolution Energy in the Salamander Avatar's body, the amount that appeared in his body was much smaller, only making him look somewhat stronger.
The Evolution took almost half an hour.
By the time it was finished, the appearance of the Salamander Avatar on the table had changed significantly.
It was still 30 centimeters long, but its body had become much more slender and harmonious. Its previously ribbed abdomen was now covered in solid muscle.
The wide, flat skull had become slightly rounder, and the three pairs of feathered horns on both sides had become serrated, emitting a hard, keratinous color, unlike the previous fleshiness.
The dorsal fin on its back had spread from the rear half of the body to the neck area and had become a white, keratinous, serrated shape, extending to the tail and becoming wide and flat once again.
The biggest change, however, was in its slender limbs, which had now become twice as thick, strong, and powerful, especially in the muscular hind legs, full of explosive power.
Even the tips of its claws had turned black, growing sharp, keratinous edges, exuding an aura of sharpness.
These were just the external changes.
In Jack's perception, the Salamander Avatar's bones had all become even sturdier, and its muscles, like strands of steel wire, were filled with explosive power.
These changes were brought about by the absorption of the Unicorn Beetle's genes.
The strength of the Unicorn Beetle lies in its powerful muscle fibers and sturdy exoskeleton, which allow it to exert and bear up to 850 times its own weight.
One could say that the Salamander Avatar had Evolved into another species, only retaining some resemblance to the Six-legged Salamander on the outside.
After sensing the changes in his Avatar, Jack then called out the attribute page with a thought.
Physique: 10.5
Strength: 10
Agility: 9
Spirit: 13.5
Talent: Soul Split
Cultivation Methods: Lotus Platform Meditation Skill [Progress 21/100] Body Casting Skill [11/100]
Avatar Body: Hexagonal Power Lycophyte
Level: Low-level Transcendent [An ordinary creature that has Evolved once and barely touched the Boundary of Transcendent; adult body length limit 70 centimeters, average combat power]
Talent: Strength [Powerful muscle fibers and bones, with the potential to exert a hundred times its own strength, Note: The current body strength can only exert ten times the power]
Evolution Value: 0/50
12 Chapter 12: Hundredfold Strength
Translator: 549690339
This time, after the Avatar Evolution, Jack Clark's main body also received feedback, and all four major attributes received a 3-point increase, reaching the level of an ordinary person.
The Spiritual Attribute even surpassed that of a normal person.
This change was an unexpected delight.
But the change in the Salamander Avatar was even more exaggerated, evolving directly from a weak organism to a low-level Extraordinary Creature, gaining a talent called Divine Strength.
Although the note indicated that the current Avatar could only burst ten times its strength, its potential reached a hundred times, as long as the body's strength kept up.
Now, this talent may not seem that powerful, and at this size, a hundredfold burst is nothing special. But what if the Avatar evolves to be tens of meters, or even hundreds of meters long?action
At that time, a hundredfold burst of its own power would be enough to shake the heavens and the earth.
Suppressing the excitement in his heart, Jack Clark weighed the Avatar again.
Before evolution, the 30-centimeter salamander weighed only seven ounces, but after evolution, it weighed more than three pounds at the same size, with a density increase of about five times.
After weighing, further tests were conducted.
For example, crawling, the strong limbs allowed the Avatar to crawl quickly on the ground, much more agile than before, like a small lizard.
At the same time, the claws of the limbs could tear paper, like a sharp little knife.
As the bones were strengthened, even the teeth became sharper, and the bite force was stronger, capable of easily crushing fish skulls.
Jack Clark was very satisfied with the results of this Evolution. His Avatar had finally gone from weak to a ferocious carnivorous beast, even if it was only the size of a puppy now.
Then, Jack Clark used his consciousness to control the Avatar to crawl around the room and adapt to the changes after the Evolution. He only stopped when he felt that it was about enough.
"Now it's time for today's cultivation." Jack Clark opened his eyes.
He wondered what changes there would be in his cultivation now that his physical constitution as a whole had improved.
With anticipation, Jack Clark sat cross-legged on the bed, closed his eyes, and focused his mind, entering the meditative state.
In the dark space of consciousness, a lotus made of dashed lines slowly rotated. Three petals of the lotus were clearly visible, representing Jack Clark's three-petal progress.
At this moment, the stronger Spirit Power covered the lotus.
Under this meditative Spirit Power, a transparent petal slowly became clear from the bottom up, solidifying, and even the texture on it could be seen clearly.
"Sigh! One petal."
Jacks Clark exhaled and a smile appeared on his face.
This time the cultivation progress was 9, Spiritual Attribute 0.2, which was twice as fast as before, and the sense of mental fatigue after cultivation was not as strong as before.
But soon, Jack Clark's eyes showed a thoughtful look as he thought of the person who ranked first in the freshman ranking.
He could now condense a petal of a lotus at a time, and if he cultivated twice a day, it would take him six days to complete the Lotus Platform Meditation Method under normal conditions, and his Mental talent would become upper-level.
But that female student named Jane Aiken completed Foundation Establishment in two days. Even if she used resources to nourish her Spirit Power, her basic Spiritual Attribute should be at least 20 points or more.
Moreover, her physical constitution should also be at least 20 points. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been able to complete the foundation in two days, even if she had resources to replenish Qi Blood.
And there were geniuses like Crystal Leinster who ranked in the top 100, who were expected to complete their Foundation Establishment in four or five days.
Thinking of this, Jack Clark slowly exhaled, suppressing the faint sense of superiority brought by the attribute page, and not underestimating others.
After a short break, Jack Clark continued to practice the Body Casting Skill.
Then he discovered that the cultivation speed had indeed improved, and the flow of Qi Blood in his body had become much richer, and the effect of body refining was better and more sustainable.
It took just forty minutes for Jack Clark to transport Qi Blood for three turns in a row, each turn taking thirteen minutes.
After the cultivation, Jack Clark revealed a satisfied expression on his tired face: "Not bad, both the speed and durability of transportation have improved by half compared to before."
This time the cultivation progress was 3, Physique 0.1.
Like the Spiritual Attribute, the basic Cultivation Methods' effects on strengthening the physique were becoming lower and lower. Jack Clark estimated that by the time he reached ten turns, he could increase his physique by at most 2 to 3 points.
However, even so, today's harvest was still tremendous.
Especially the evolved Avatar, which made Jack Clark realize its potential and importance to him.
But he soon had a headache.
The feeding demand of the evolved Hexagonal Power Lycophyte was simply too large. Although it was only thirty centimeters long, the appetite had increased several times larger than before, requiring several pounds of fish meat in one meal.
"It feels like my family will go bankrupt before long…" In the afternoon, Jack Clark looked at the Avatar, which had grown a centimeter longer, and fell silent.
According to the growth rules of the Avatar, every time it consumed food equal to its size, it would experience micro-growth once. It needed to achieve two consecutive micro-growths to gain 1 point Evolution value.
In other words, the Hexagonal Avatar now had to consume three pounds of fish meat in one meal, twelve pounds in four meals a day, and that was just for now.
In the future, when it grows to sixty or seventy centimeters long or even evolves again to be one or two meters long, maybe it will have to eat one or two hundred pounds of meat a day?
Thinking of this, Jack Clark sighed, "I'll just set it free after it evolves again."
The Six-legged Salamander was an amphibious 'fish'. When it evolved again, Jack Clark was planning to throw it into the river to find food by itself. Luckily, there was a small river not far from his home.
This river extended along the edge of the city, and if you went several dozen miles east, it would reach the entrance of a large river. There was abundant fish food in the river, enough to support the growth of the Avatar afterward.
The reason it wasn't released now was that it was too dangerous outside.
As the New Era began, it wasn't just humans who could cultivate and become stronger. Many wild animals also mutated, and many Mutated Beasts appeared.
However, unlike humans who could cultivate and become stronger, the evolution speed of those Mutated Beasts was slow. Most of them were not very strong, and none could resist mankind's firepower.
Even so, the wilderness was no longer as safe for ordinary people as before.
It wasn't so bad around the city, as the officials would regularly clean up the area, and upon receiving news of Mutated Beasts appearing in villages and towns, there would be official personnel handling it.
But that wasn't the case for those untouched deep mountains and old forests where many powerful Unique Beasts were silently evolving. Ordinary people who ventured there were only seeking death.
The most dangerous place, however, was the ocean.
The ocean covered an area several times larger than land, and the deepest parts reached more than 10,000 meters, teeming with a terrifying number of species.
With such a large number, naturally, more Mutated Creatures would emerge.
Especially those whales that were originally huge, and some of the giant bizarre creatures in the deep sea. They were among the first to evolve with the opening of the New Era.
Once these creatures mutated, their power would become terrifying.
Fortunately, these creatures still preferred to live in the depths of the ocean, and the shallow waters were still under human control, allowing ships to sail and catch seafood.
However, the deep-sea areas where Mutated Giant Beasts appeared were already designated as forbidden zones.
By the same logic, shallow waters cannot raise large turtles.
At present, most of the rivers in the mainland were safe.
Although some fish had become much more ferocious, it was not uncommon to see fish of several tens or even hundreds of pounds flipping around, but there had been no incidents of them attacking and eating people.
At least not in the United Federation where he lived. Jack Clark wasn't sure about other member countries.

Jack Clark's home was in the suburbs, although still within the city limits, it was actually an old urban village.
The surrounding buildings were all low-rise two or three-story houses, with each house having its own small courtyard, and not far away was a tributary of a surging river.
The next day was Sunday, afternoon.
On a hot summer's day, Jack sat at his computer desk, browsing the internet for posts about Mutated Beasts and the Cultivation World.
Not until he deliberately paid attention to these news did he realize that in recent years, all the allied countries had been stepping up their efforts to suppress the emergence of Mutated Beasts within their borders.
Especially the Yama Rainforest, where there were so many Mutated Beasts that it was out of control. Someone even took a picture of a hundred-meter-long giant python in the river.
This level of Mutated Beast had already reached the range of Giant Beasts.
Apart from that, there were upheavals in many parts of an allied country.
Leading them were some cultivators who were not willing to let ordinary people hold power. They claimed to establish a country for cultivators so that everyone could practice cultivation.
Some people analyzed that there were shadows of Evil God Sect Cultists behind these upheavals.
Many people were paying attention to this international event, and there were on-site videos posted by local people.
In the video, many strong cultivators were charging at the positions of machine-gun nests, completely ignoring the dense gunfire. Their terrifying speed allowed them to cover hundreds of meters in the blink of an eye.
Their every move burst with terrifying power, casually crashing walls and flipping armored vehicles. In the blink of an eye, the positions were destroyed.
Facing these strong men, the ordinary soldiers were as weak as lambs awaiting slaughter.
Only occasional explosions, launched grenades, and even anti-tank rockets could slightly hinder them.action
In the video, it only took more than ten minutes for the city's administrative center to be breached, filled with burning fire, screams, and sporadic gunfire.
After watching all this, Jack felt somewhat relieved that he hadn't traveled to these chaotic allied countries.
At this moment, Glenn Clark's voice came from downstairs: "Brother, are you eating watermelon?"
Jack shouted to the door: "Cut it and I'll eat it."
"I knew you'd say that." Downstairs, Glenn took a watermelon out of the freezer, quickly cut it into pieces, and then brought it upstairs.
Glenn slipped into the room and put down the watermelon, curiously looking at the computer: "Brother, you're also paying attention to the Koroya's cultivator and official battle events, huh."
Jack picked up a slice of watermelon, somewhat surprised: "You know about this too?"
Glenn took a proud bite of watermelon, mumbled in his mouth: "Of course, I'm going to be the King of Martial Arts. Isn't it natural for me to pay attention to international events?"
"King of Martial Arts, I'm also the Pirate King," Jack scoffed.
Glenn was puzzled: "Brother, what's the Pirate King? The king of the ocean? Is he very powerful?"
Jack was speechless: "With the name Pirate, he's definitely a thief who runs around everywhere chased by the navy. You tell me, is he powerful?"
"Well, forget about it. I want to be the strongest King of Martial Arts in the whole world."
As he sat on the edge of the bed eating watermelon, Glenn asked, "By the way, brother, I saw a lot of frozen fish in the freezer when I opened it just now. Can we finish eating so much?"
"And frozen fish doesn't taste good at all, it has a scattered flavor."
"These aren't for us to eat."
Glenn blinked, puzzled: "If it's not for us to eat, then who is it for?"
"There! For it." Jack pointed with his chin at the desk where a 32-centimeter-long, stout Six-legged Salamander was lying lazily.
After his reminder, Glenn noticed the salamander lying beside the water tank and was immediately stunned: "Is this… your pet!?"
"Yes."
"Really that pet! How did it get so big so quickly?" Glenn was a bit surprised.
He remembered that last week his brother was sick with a fever, and when he had come in to take care of him, the salamander had looked very small, just a bit bigger than a newborn– how come it had grown even larger than a puppy in just a week?
"It must have mutated."
Jack casually said, "It's been eating more and more these days, and its size has surged, but it's not dangerous at all. Lil' Glenn, look… roll over."
As he spoke, Jack pretended to make a roll-over gesture toward the salamander avatar.
In Glenn's eyes, the somewhat fierce-looking six-legged salamander promptly rolled over.
"Wag your tail."
"Raise your paw…"
Next, Jack directed and acted out a few more gestures, and then controlled the avatar with his consciousness, leaving Glenn dumbfounded.
Regarding the existence of the salamander avatar, Jack didn't plan to hide it from his family and couldn't even if he wanted to since it had to eat so much every day.
He could hide it for a day or two, but eventually it would be exposed, so it was better just to tell them outright.
After all, pets with mutations were not uncommon, and the authorities had management measures in place, so most household pets that mutated were required to be registered at the local branch office.
Of course, the main reason was that these mutated pets were weak and recognized their masters, obeying their commands.
If the pet were aggressive and posed a significant threat to the surrounding residents, it would be forcibly taken away by the authorities.
For a pet like the salamander that was only slightly bigger than a puppy, even if it had mutated, it didn't seem to have any aggressiveness, and it was enough to just mention it to the family, no registration was necessary.
Once it evolved next time, he would put the avatar in the river.
So, when they had dinner that night, Jack took the initiative to mention this matter to Doris, who didn't really care, only asking him to be more careful when feeding it.
In her impression, even if the tiny pet had mutated, it was just a slightly bigger fish.
…
On Monday, Jack walked into the classroom and immediately sensed a restless atmosphere among the class.
As soon as he sat down, he learned from his classmates' chatter that it was because Crystal and Matt, two class leaders, had successfully reached the Foundation Establishment stage after consulting with the teachers yesterday.
Yesterday had been a weekend, but some students who loved the spacious venue had come to cultivate.
Justin approached and whispered, "Jack, how are you feeling? Any sense of urgency?"
Jack glanced at him, took the textbook for that morning's lesson from his desk drawer, and said indifferently, "Urgency is useless, just keep cultivating slowly."
"That's the spirit! What does it matter if others break through quickly? I'll just go on my way."
Justin could tell that Jack's nonchalance wasn't feigned, but that he genuinely didn't care about being left behind academically by his peers.
Not like the rest of the classmates.
When they heard that the Class Leader and others had successfully reached the Foundation Establishment stage, and they themselves were still on the fourth or fifth stages of blood circulation and energy transport, they suddenly became anxious.
It was as if being anxious would be helpful, so why didn't they work harder on cultivation every day when they went home?
"By the way."
At that moment, Justin seemed to remember something and said, "Jack, I'll be reaching the Foundation Establishment stage tomorrow too."
"I won't be able to cultivate with you in Area C after that, so remember to work hard."
"So all this was just a build-up to tell me this." Jack glanced at him and shook his head, too lazy to pay him any attention.
"Heh… I just wanted to surprise you, but you're not playing along." Justin grinned with some regrets.
He would reach the Foundation Establishment stage tomorrow, which would be just about a week in total, an excellent talent indeed.
Looking at the somewhat lewd-looking Justin, Jack was a little surprised that this guy, who seemed so sly and wily, was actually a genius.

The next day, as expected, Justin Welan and another male student successfully established their Foundation.
And then, within a few days, another female student in the class succeeded in establishing her Foundation, followed by two more the day after…
As a result, there were fewer and fewer people in the cultivation classroom in the afternoon, and the atmosphere became increasingly restless.
After successfully establishing their Foundation, they would go to Area C for cultivation. That area was the real Martial Sects Area, where freshmen of Senior One who had established their foundation, as well as sophomores and seniors were located.
The two sides were like people from two separate worlds.
After establishing their Foundation, Crystal Leinster and the others rarely attended the cultural classes in the morning. Occasionally they appeared, but they were always in a hurry, as if they were too busy to spare any time.
At the same time, their aura became more and more oppressive, sharp, and daunting to the classmates who were close to them.
This situation made those classmates who hadn't established their Foundation even more impatient. Every day, their cultivation classes in the afternoon became more focused and diligent in contrast to their initial laziness.
Unfortunately, talent was something you either had or you didn't.
In the blink of an eye, another week passed, and twelve people in the class had established their Foundation. With nearly half of them gone, the classroom seemed much emptier.
On Monday, after spending a pleasant weekend, Jack Clark entered the classroom and saw Justin Welan sitting at his desk.
Besides him, Crystal Leinster and Matt Watkins, the two class leaders, were also present.
Justin Welan grinned as he greeted Jack, "Hey, Jack, it's been so many days, did you miss me?"
Jack was speechless, "You're not a beauty, so what's there to miss?"
"Besides, you just went to Zone C to cultivate True Martial, not like you were gone for good. Aren't you back today?" Jack shook his head and ignored him.
Looking at Jack, who took out his textbook and prepared for class, Justin blinked and after a long time, couldn't help but ask, "Jack, aren't you curious about the difference between True Martial and Basic Cultivation Methods?"
Seeing Justin's eager, "Ask me, ask me!" expression, Jack replied indifferently, "Why be curious? Anyway, I will be able to cultivate it after a while."
"… Jack, you're no fun at all." Justin was a bit frustrated.
He had arrived early today, waiting for a long time, just to see Jack ask him to describe what True Martial was like. He hadn't expected this outcome.
This reaction was such a contrast to the little beauty in front of him who had excitedly asked him all sorts of questions. He had waited so long for nothing.
In response, Jack just smiled, he really wasn't in a hurry.
At four in the afternoon, accompanied by the melodious school bell, class ended.
In the cultivation classroom, Jack, who was cultivating, slowly finished his session, the boiling Qi Blood in his body gradually subsiding.
"Almost there," feeling the abundant Qi Blood in his body and the faint fatigue after carrying out seven turns, Jack revealed a smile on his face.
During this period, he had made great progress. His Meditation Method had been perfected five days ago, visualizing twelve petals.
He could also perform Qi Blood carry for half an hour and complete seven turns.
Unfortunately, as he became more proficient, his progress slowed down. Now, after practicing once, completing seven turns in one go only increased his results by 4 points; otherwise, he would have made a breakthrough already.
But even so, in about three more days, he should be able to complete his Foundation Establishment.
His timing was just right, establishing his Foundation within fifteen days, which showed average talent – not great, but also not bad.
After resting for a while, Jack took a bath, put on his dried clothes after washing them once, and came out.
At that moment, a female student also came out from the girls' changing room. Seeing Jack, she smiled and asked, "Jack, are you going back?"
"Yes." Jack nodded.
"Coincidentally, I also plan to go back early today. Shall we go together?"
"Sure."
This female student was named Freya Louise, and she was a classmate Jack had gotten to know last week. The two would occasionally exchange cultivation experiences during this period. As they shared half of the way home, they slowly became more familiar with each other over time after bumping into each other a few times.
Under the scorching sun and tree shade by the roadside, Freya Louise and Jack Clark walked side by side. A gentle breeze carried the faint fragrance of shampoo as it blew past them.
"Jack, I saw you didn't seem to struggle with the seven turns carry today. You should be close to breaking through, right?"
"Probably in a few days."
Freya glanced at the figures running in the distant playground and whispered, "I can now carry nine turns within half an hour with my perfect meditation and Qi Blood."
"After using the Burst bear blood essence to cultivate tonight, I should be able to establish my foundation by tomorrow."
Jack showed a faint smile on his face, "Congratulations."
Freya turned to look at Jack, her beautiful face encouraging, "Keep going, Jack. I'll go ahead and wait for you by Area C."
Jack smiled and nodded, "Yeah, let's do our best together."
As they were talking, the two walked out of the tree shade, and sunlight fell on Freya's milky, creamy face, her skin faintly glowing like transparent.
Jack's gaze paused for a moment at this sight.
During this time, Jack observed that the girls in their class were all pretty, with class leader Sherry Lesser being the most beautiful.
With her curly purple hair, exquisite face, and stunning figure, she was at the goddess level.
Then, there was Freya.
Unlike Sherry, whose beauty was delicate, Freya had a lovely and pure appearance. Her white cheeks were tender and delicate as a baby, and her features were beautiful.
Her lovely phoenix eyes were long and narrow, and each time she smiled, her eyes would slightly squint into crescents, exuding a hint of enchantment.
Standing at around one meter sixty-eight, her silky black hair was tied with a bow of white butterfly ribbon, and the white ribbons mixed with her hair gave her a fresh aura.
This strange charm, pure but somewhat enchanting, was enough to outshine the other girls in the class.
Even Jack was occasionally stirred by the inadvertent flirtatiousness she exuded, and couldn't help but sigh that she was a natural beauty.
The two walked together for a while until they parted ways at a three-way intersection.
When Jack returned home, it was precisely five o'clock. Carrying several big and small bags, the largest two contained more than twenty pounds of frozen fish.
Over twenty pounds of fish meat would be enough to feed his Avatar for two days.
In the kitchen, Jack gutted the palm-sized Beltfish one by one, washing the organs clean and setting them aside. In no time, he'd filled the basin.
On the second floor, the forty-seven centimeters long Hexagonal Power Lycophyte lay half on the table, with its egg-sized head raised slightly and its three pairs of red teeth wide open, looking like a small lion.
Although the Avatar wasn't very big yet, it had begun to have a predator's intimidating presence.
Jack placed the basin of fish meat in front of the Salamander Avatar and controlled it to eat. Its mouth opened, and it tore the fish apart with a gaping bite.
In the face of its sharp teeth, the fish meat was easily torn apart and swallowed in a few bites. Its eating speed was astonishing.
Eating, digesting, growing.
Soon, the six pounds of fish meat in the basin were consumed, and the lizard's body grew visibly thicker and longer, reaching forty-eight centimeters in length.
With a full stomach, the Avatar lay on the table to digest its food.
Jack sat on a chair, lost in thought. He was thinking about which gene to integrate into his Avatar next time.
His Avatar could evolve and integrate talents from other creatures' genetic material, giving it infinite potential.
But having too many choices could be painful too, because there were too many talents from insects and animals that humans couldn't comprehend, no matter how powerful they were.
For example, the Tiger Beetle's instant two hundredfold speed increase, the mantis shrimp's supersonic burst attack, and more…

15 Chapter 15 Breakthrough
Translator: 549690339
In the morning, on his way to school, Glenn Clark, carrying a backpack, walked ahead.
When Glenn saw a bun shop by the road, he, feeling a bit hungry, turned his head to look at Jack Clark, and was about to say something when he suddenly paused and exclaimed in surprise.
"Brother, you seem to have grown taller recently."
Jack responded casually, "I know, it's probably because of my Cultivation."
The Hexagonal Power Lycophyte had evolved, augmenting his physique by 3 points. During this period, he was practicing the Body Casting Skill to enhance Qi blood and strengthen his body, raising his physique by nearly 2 points.
In such a scenario, not only did Jack's height increased from 1.7 meters to 1.73 meters, his originally thin figure became more muscular, upright and tall.
Even his pale face had more color on it, making him more handsome and healthy.
"Does cultivation help to grow taller? What a pity, I'm only thirteen years old and can't start cultivating yet." Glenn sounded a bit envious, and then pointed at the bun shop.
"Bro, I'm still a bit hungry, I want to eat two buns."
Jack looked at him strangely, "Why don't you buy some?"
"Hehe, I'm out of money."
Jack frowned, "Didn't I just give you living expenses on Monday?"
"…Well, I recently have a big appetite, I've finished all the money." Glenn's eyes dodged, somewhat uncomfortable looking at Jack.
"Is it?" Jack expressed doubts.
Since meals are taken care of in the school cafeteria at noon, Jack gives Glenn living expenses every week, and besides, there's some pocket money each day.
Although it is not much, it should be enough for his expenses.action
As for Jack himself, sorry, but he is in charge of managing household affairs; the household expenses every month lie in his hands. After school, he is responsible for buying groceries and cooking meals.
However, he had been keeping an Avatar recently, so the food at home was slightly worse.
Could it be because of that?
After thinking for a moment, Jack took out a hundred from his pocket and gave it to him, saying somewhat annoyed, "Here, take it. And next time, tell me early when you run out of money."
The purchasing power of money in this world is similar to the Earth where Jack lived in his previous life. A bowl of noodles cost about ten bucks. Today was Wednesday. A hundred would be enough for Glenn for the next few days.
Initially, Jack planned to give him fifty, but seeing Glenn's tall and mighty figure at just thirteen years old, he felt fifty would not be enough for his appetite.
"Thank you, brother."
Glenn cheerfully took the money, bought two big buns, and finished them in a few bites.
When the two reached the street corner, a few girls wearing middle-school uniforms walked over from the other side and waved to Glenn after seeing him.
"Glenn, hurry up."
"Wait for me, Brother, I'm leaving first."
"Go."
Glenn left with a smile.
"Glenn, is that your brother?"
"Yeah."
"Glenn, your brother is really handsome."
"Of course, my brother is the most handsome, and his academic performance is excellent. He was the top student in our grade and got admitted into South Sky Martial Height, and he's now cultivating True Martial."
"Wow, your brother is so awesome."
Hearing the conversation coming from a distance, Jack shook his head.
……
When he arrived in the class, Jack scanned the classroom and did not find Freya Louise. It appeared she had made a breakthrough to ten turns and had gone to the teacher for foundation establishment.
The classroom, with one lesser student, felt increasingly empty. This feeling made most students more anxious, and their minds wandered during the morning's cultural class.
Half a month ago, everyone was still a smooth-sailing freshman, chattering and joking around.
But only after ten or so days, as more people left to establish their foundation, the class of dozens of students was divided into different tiers. There was a sense that those who broke through later were worse off.
So, during the afternoon Cultivation class, everyone, even without anyone maintaining discipline, practiced with exceptional intensity.
But many times, the more effort they put in, the more desperate they become.
Because they realized they seemed to be incapable.
Accompanied by the school bell, the lights of Essence Blood Stone were turned off, and everyone in the Cultivation Classroom slowly ended their practice, with the majority looking exhausted.
"Woohoo! I can barely move to the fifth stage even till now…" A female student couldn't bear the silent pressure and broke into tears.
Apart from her, there were also other students with faces of unwillingness and bitterness.
They had been practicing for half a month, and could only continuously reach the sixth stage in Qi blood transportation. They could only reach the fourth stage at the fastest in half an hour.
In this case, they could hardly complete half an hour to ten turns within a month. Even if they barely established their foundation later, it would also mean they didn't have much Cultivation Talent.
Jack saw all this, but didn't think much of it. After resting a little, he packed up and prepared to go home.
If they didn't have Cultivation Talent, then they didn't have it. There was no need to insist. There were other fields in this world where one could make their mark too.
Of course, regardless of the world, power is privileged. Being able to cultivate True Martial Arts and becoming strong without relying on external forces is naturally better.
Under normal conditions, Jack would be among these people. With a weak physique, even with a pretty good Mental Talent, he would not be able to cultivate martial arts.
Just the physique aspect was a limit to him.
In his faint sentimentality, Jack, with his shoulder bag, walked out of the school at a relaxed pace.
Night!
In the room, Jack practiced the Body Casting Skill, which was like a fusion of Tai Chi and ancient yoga, his form reminiscent of a dragon.
He constantly switched among the eighteen positions, moving smoothly and naturally, which was completely different from his initial clumsiness, having become almost instinctual after practicing more than two hundred times.
At the same time, the Qi blood within his body, which was several times thicker than before, was slowly fortifying his body, emitting an astonishing amount of heat, just like a furnace.
Whoosh!
All of a sudden, Jack halted and took a deep breath, a surge of burning hot air rushed out for half a meter before dissipating.
"Finally, I have reached half an hour to ten turns." Jack had a smile on his face. At this moment, he only felt his whole body's Qi Blood flowing smoothly, his Blood Qi steaming, and he didn't feel the usual fatigue.
After nearly a half month of continuous hard-practice, he finally made a breakthrough, and moreover forced to break through the talent limit, even Jack was filled with a sense of accomplishment at this time.
On the desk, the fifty cm long, arm-thick Hexagonal Power Lycophyte also had a satisfied look on its face.
After a moment's rest, Jack moved his realm of thought, calling out the attribute page.
Physique: 12
Strength: 11
Agility: 10
Spirit: 15
Talent: Soul Split
Cultivation Methods: First-grade Lotus Platform Meditation Method [progress 100/100, Body Casting Skill [100/100]
Avatar: Hexagonal Power Lycophyte…
Evolution value: 25/50
Both basic methods have each increased his physique and spiritual attributes by 2 points, and the increased physique has also improved his strength attribute by 1 point.
At this time, his overall attributes were 20 percent higher than ordinary people, and his spirit was 5 points higher than an average person.
The result was that his thinking and consciousness were much faster than before when he was pondering things recently.
At the same time, the growth of his Avatar has been steady during this period, resulting in eating much more.
But this level of consumption was still bearable.
Jack put away the attribute page, a hint of expectation on his face: "I hope I won't be disappointed with the foundation establishment tomorrow."
The preliminary practice before the foundation establishment was so laborious and difficult. If the changes after establishing the foundation tomorrow were too poor, it would not be worthy of his efforts during this period.

16 Chapter 16 Transcendent
Translator: 549690339
In the early morning, Jack Clark followed the crowd and walked into the school gate.
What came into view were faces full of vitality, both men and women, all seemingly full of hope for the future.
Nowadays in the Summer District, anyone who goes to high school is required to learn Body Casting Skill. Therefore, even some humanities students have full spirit and look radiant.
Such a scene occasionally gave Jack the illusion that everyone in this world was as strong as a dragon.
Past the humanities Teaching Building, Jack crossed the Building B where he had spent half a month and then arrived at the Building C behind it. The entrance was the first floor office area.
Seeing Jack entering, the woman behind the side office desk asked, "Which class are you a freshman in?"
"Class 3."
"Class 3 is managed by teacher Lori Parma, go to the third floor and find him. You can take the elevator up from there." After saying that, the woman also pointed out the direction for Jack.
"Thank you." Jack politely expressed his gratitude and then took the elevator to the third floor.
This was a floor that was even more spacious than the cultivation classroom, with an area of over a thousand square meters. Apart from several load-bearing pillars with a diameter of 2 meters, there was hardly any obstruction in the middle.
Various equipment and high-tech products were arranged all along the large floor's sides, and the space was divided into separate cultivation areas covering dozens of square meters each.
At this time, it was still early and no students were cultivating.
Not far from the entrance, Lori Parma, who had shown his face on the first day, was sitting in his office, browsing the computer.
Seeing Jack knocking and entering, Lori Parma thought for a moment and said solemnly, "Class 3, Jack Clark."
"Yes, teacher."
Jack was a little surprised that the teacher could call out his name, given that they had only met once when the teacher introduced himself.
Of course, Jack didn't know that the teacher had already looked through everyone's information at the beginning of the semester.
Lori Parma nodded satisfactorily, "Not bad, full of spirit and Qi Blood."
"You have a decent talent for completingfoundation establishment in half a month."
"Take this information and review it. In ten minutes, after you finish reading, I'll take you to establish the foundation." Lori Parma pushed a folder in front of him over to Jack.
Jack didn't hold back and sat down opposite Lori, picking up the folder.
From the slightly worn cover of the folder, it could be seen that it had been read by many people. The contents inside were about precautions for the upcoming foundation establishment.
The so-called foundation building is the process of guiding Qi Blood into the body, which is to attract the extraordinary energy that roams the world.
In the past, this world only had various rays and magnetic field waves, so ordinary people could not transcend no matter how hard they cultivated.action
It wasn't until fifty years ago that the New Era began, and with the appearance and disappearance of giant beasts from the cracks, countless extraordinary energies poured into the earth.
However, these energies scattered between heaven and earth were too diluted for ordinary people to perceive. Only those with innate awakenings could cultivate and become stronger.
Faced with this situation, some strong cultivators and countries joined forces, studied for many years, and created the First Generation Cultivation Method.
After several optimizations and popularizations, the Meditation Method and the Body Casting Skill were created for them to cultivate, strengthening their bodies and activating their spirits.
To further ensure successful foundation building, every first-class university has built special cultivation rooms.
Inside the cultivation room, the extraordinary energy that was dispersed was five times greater than outside, allowing beginners to feel and capture the extraordinary energy more easily, guiding it into their bodies for refinement.
In theory, the first time to establish foundation is a life-changing transformation, so the better the foundation, the longer the foundation building state will last, and the greater the gains.
In addition, the document contains many details that need to be noted to avoid any mistakes by beginners that may lead to failure in the foundation building.
Looking at the young man who had put down the information, Lori Parma said solemnly, "Have you finished reading it?"
Jack nodded, "I've finished reading."
"Alright, follow me."
Lori Parma got up and led Jack out of the office. At that moment, several elevator doors opened, and more than ten students came pouring out.
Among these people were Justin Welan, Crystal Leinster, and Matt Watkins, who had already established their foundations in class, including Freya Louise, who had just completed her foundation building the day before.
Seeing Jack, Justin showed a happy smile, "Jack, you're finally here."
"Not too bad, only lagging behind you guys for so many days." Jack smiled.
Justin patted Jack on the shoulder enthusiastically, feeling very happy.
"I knew you'd be fine."
Freya, with her long hair tied with a butterfly ribbon, walked over with a smile on her beautiful face, her charming phoenix eyes slightly narrowed.
Seeing their classmates, Crystal and Matt nodded slightly, to which Jack responded with a smile.
Just as Justin was about to say something, Lori Parma interrupted, "Alright, there'll be plenty of time to catch up later. Don't waste everyone's time."
Justin smiled at the teacher, "Right, Jack. Hurry up and build your foundation. After that, you can choose a True Martial Cultivation method."
"Good luck!" Freya gave an encouraging look.
After nodding and saying hello, Jack followed Lori into the elevator, but instead of going up, they went all the way down to the underground negative fifth floor.
Stepping out of the elevator, there was a row of corridors with closed rooms on both sides.
Jack stood aside while Lori went to a counter that resembled a self-service vending machine in front of him, inputting data, verifying his identity, and a card was dispensed by the machine.
While Jack was waiting, several more teachers came down one after another, followed by one or two students.
"Go ahead, Room 15. Remember, the longer you can persist, the better."
"Okay."
Jack took the card and found Room 15. As soon as he inserted the card, the heavy metal door slowly opened.
When Jack entered, the door slowly closed again. Then the second layer of the white glass door in front of him opened a gap, and a cool breeze blew in suddenly.
This was the phenomenon of the high-concentration extraordinary energy flowing into the low-energy zone.
Jack didn't dare to delay and quickly passed through the glass door; the door closed automatically as it sensed him entering.
This was a small room about three to four meters long and wide, covering about ten square meters. There was a faint white light on the ceiling, and apart from that, everything was very simple.
Whew!
Jack took a deep breath, stood in the middle, and without any fancy preparations, began to cultivate.
The basic requirement for foundation building was to reach ten turns in half an hour with the Body Casting Skill, which meant that one had to practice it once every three minutes. The purpose was to make the body's Qi blood boil.
At the same time, the Meditation Method was used to make the Spirit Power more condensed and pure, allowing it to transport Qi blood faster and catch the free extraordinary energy outside more quickly.
With Jack's cultivation, the eighteen positions of the Body Casting Skill changed continuously, with increasing speed, and Qi blood circulated faster and hotter throughout his body.
When completing ten turns continuously, his whole body was like a steamer, with Qi blood emitting high temperature, and the Spirit Power became even more sensitive due to the active Qi blood.
Immediately, he felt a seemingly non-existent energy drifting around him, which was very faint and elusive.
Now's the time!
Jack's expression tightened as he practiced the Body Casting Skill at an even faster speed. At the same time, his Spirit Power pulled a strand of the sensed external energy into his body.
Boom!
17 Chapter 17: First Layer Heaven
Translator: 549690339
As the energy entered his body and touched the boiling Qi blood, it was like sparks igniting gasoline; Jack Clark felt as if his entire body was set ablaze.
Of course, it was only a metaphor, not that he was literally on fire.
As strands of extraordinary energy were absorbed into his body, Jack's burning Qi blood became even more vigorous, and at the same time, it circulated throughout his body.
Under the influence of the extraordinary energy, the nature of his blood Qi underwent some special changes. As it circulated through his body, his muscles and bones were greatly strengthened.
This strengthening included the five viscera and six bowels, fascia, and nerves.
This feeling was somewhat similar to the previous improvement during the Avatar Evolution, which involved a comprehensive enhancement of physical fitness and a significant improvement in all aspects under the effect of extraordinary energy.
Every minute, Jack's body became stronger and stronger.
This situation made him cultivate even harder, using his Spirit Power to frantically guide the extraordinary energy into his body.action
If the boiling Qi blood cultivated by the Body Casting Skill was the foundation for igniting the extraordinary energy,
Then the strength of the Spirit Power cultivated by Meditation determined how much extraordinary energy could be guided within one minute and how long one could persist.
Both were indispensable.
The person who could think of and create such a Foundation Cultivation Method was simply a genius.
As Jack began the Foundation Establishment, many classmates in the classroom looked at the empty seat where he usually sat.
Next to him, a short-haired female student said enviously, "I think Jack hasn't come yet because he has already broken through and went to Teacher Parma for the Foundation Establishment."
"I don't think so," another male student shook his head.
"I remember that when Jack first practiced the Body Casting Skill, it took him almost fifty minutes to complete a cycle, while most other students needed just twenty to thirty minutes."
"His talent is among the worst in the class; how is it possible for him to establish the foundation faster than us?"
"No, I think he must have broken through."
"Although his first Qi Blood transfer was slow, I noticed that his progress in subsequent cultivation classes improved rapidly, and he was already able to transfer eight cycles with ease yesterday."
"I also think he has broken through."
"I envy him. I'm only at the seventh stage now, and I can only transfer six cycles within half an hour. I don't know when I'll be able to break through."
"You're better than me. I can only transfer five cycles at a time. Any more, and I feel dizzy and exhausted."
"You're only at the fifth stage after half a month? You have no hope. I advise you to choose cultural studies instead."
"Woo!! I'm only at the fourth stage, what should I do…"
…
The Foundation Establishment state persisted for a long time; Jack only slowly ended his practice when his Spirit Power was exhausted to the point that he could no longer guide external energy into his body.
Whew!
Jack took a deep breath, opened his eyes, and the exhaustion and excitement in his gaze were evident.
The exhaustion was due to the excessive mental exertion, while the excitement stemmed from the rewards gained from this period of cultivation.
With the successful Foundation Establishment, Jack could now clearly feel the boiling Qi blood in his body, making him feel full of strength and as if he could punch through a wall with one fist.
Of course, this feeling was due to the illusion created by the sudden and massive improvement in his physique.
Suppressing his excitement, Jack summoned his attribute page with a thought and immediately saw Physique 21, Strength 20, Agility 19, and Spirit 24.
All four major attributes had increased by 9 points, which was twice that of ordinary people.
Moreover, Jack vaguely felt that not only his physique had improved significantly during this Foundation Establishment, but there seemed to be some other indescribable changes in his body as well.
Lost in thought, Jack opened the door.
Seeing the handsome youth walking out, Lori Parma nodded in satisfaction: "Good, a Foundation Establishment in two hours; this result is already considered above average.""It seems like you've gained a lot. Let's go and choose your own True Martial Arts."
"Yes, Teacher." Jack Clark followed excitedly.
Foundation Establishment success is only the beginning, the real journey into cultivation starts now.
Following Lori Parma, the two took the elevator all the way to the 33rd-floor rooftop. The place was like a large library, filled with bookshelves and paper books.
Just as Jack Clark thought that those books were the True Martial Secret Scripts, Lori Parma led him to another area similar to the internet cafe private room area.
"Each room has a computer. After you enter your Student ID and pass the face recognition, you can browse the Cultivation Methods within your permission range after your basic data is inputted."
"Remember, the school divides new students' initial permissions into three days, one week, two weeks, one month."
"Since you've broken through Foundation Establishment within a half month, you're eligible to learn two low-level martial arts. Once you've chosen your Cultivation Methods, you cannot change them, so choose carefully."
"If you want to learn higher-level or other Cultivation Methods in the future, you need to exchange Contribution Points. There's an explanation on the computer about what Contribution Points are."
"By the way, those books outside are some Daoist and Buddhist scriptures, introductions to the various allied countries, and some information about Mutated Beasts and cultivators. It wouldn't hurt to read more during your cultivation breaks."
"Alright. I'm going to find someone to drink tea with. You go ahead."
Having explained this to Jack Clark, Lori Parma entered an office nearby where a middle-aged man was watering flowers and plants on the balcony.
Jack Clark found an empty room and locked the door behind him. He sat down on the sofa in front of the computer and began inputting his student number.
"Beep! Student ID 2055…967… Begin facial recognition…"
Accompanied by the intelligent voice, a faint red light shot out from the webcam on the monitor and scanned Jack Clark's face.
"Verification passed, welcome to the Heavenly Intelligence System. Now for data entry, please follow the instructions to test your data on the nearby Tester."
"Please begin with the first test, arm strength."
"Data testing, huh." Jack Clark got up and came to the arm strength machine, grabbed the rings on both sides, took a deep breath, and his upper body muscles burst with power.
"Arm strength 102 kg, data uploaded, please begin fist strength test."
Punch!
"Fist strength 210 kg, data uploaded, please begin kick strength test."
Boom!
"Kick strength 290 kg, data testing complete."
"Your basic data has reached the entry standard for First Level Heaven, and you are eligible to receive Contribution Points. Currently, you can receive 3 Contribution Points every month."
"Now, please have the student choose True Martial Arts."
With that said, a browsing option for Cultivation Methods appeared on the computer.
However, Jack Clark did not immediately choose a Cultivation Method but stood there, recalling the feeling of his power burst just now.
Arm strength of 100 kg, fist strength of 200 kg, and full-strength kicking power approaching 300 kg. If such power were to fall on an ordinary person, it would be enough to kill with a single kick.
This power is only the entrance to the True Martial Arts, a cultivation system worthy of slowly suppressing the technological civilization.
Feeling a sense of wonder, Jack Clark sat back down in front of the computer, clicked Browse, and more than fifty Cultivation Method names appeared on the monitor.
Each Cultivation Method could be viewed in detail when clicked on.
"Bright Moon Formula, primarily Defense, secondary Burst, after cultivation, the body surface becomes as hard as jade, upon grand accomplishment can withstand submachine gun and rifle bullets."
"Light Sword Art, after cultivation, the sword light is swift and agile…"
"Explosive Bear Fighting Body, focuses on strength, secondary Defense, after cultivation, abundant Qi Blood, incredible strength, few can compare in the same grade Cultivation Methods."
"Ghost Shadow Leg, focuses on speed, secondary Burst, after cultivation, speed is astonishingly swift, like a ghost upon grand accomplishment, and immune to infrared detection."
"Dragon Elephant Power, focuses on strength…"

18 Chapter 18: Heavy Weapons
Translator: 549690339
Having read all the introductions to the cultivation methods, Jack Clark leaned back on the sofa, deep in thought.
He found that all the methods had only three levels, with a cultivation limit of Third Layer Heaven, which was the limitation of low-level martial arts.
Since there were low-level martial arts, there must be high-level or even top-tier martial arts that ordinary people could not learn; they would require higher permissions.
And permissions were proportional to their breakthrough Foundation Establishment time; the faster the breakthrough, the higher the initial permissions.
No wonder Crystal Leinster and others who already had good natural talents were also willing to spend a lot of resources to quickly break through the Foundation Establishment; they must have known about the permissions thing early on.
Thinking about this, Jack couldn't help but recall the day when Justin Welan deliberately waited for him to tell him about the Qi Blood resources that could replenish Qi Blood and speed up cultivation.
At that time, Justin Welan might not have just been reminding him to pay attention to his body, but also obliquely suggesting that he spend money to buy resources to accelerate his Foundation Establishment.
Unfortunately, even if Justin Welan had explicitly told him at that time, he had no way to do anything about it.
Because he had no money, and his talent was inferior to others; his breakthrough in half a month's time had been due to factors like his Avatar Evolution and Attribute Page Solidified Proficiency.
During this contemplative moment, Jack's attention returned to the choice of a cultivation method.
These methods could be roughly divided into two categories: body cultivation and weapon-based ones.
Body cultivation methods were further divided into those focusing on strength, defense, speed burst, and short-distance movement techniques, leg techniques, etc., while weapon-based ones were even more diverse.
However, no matter which type of weapon, Jack found them all to be extremely exaggerated.
For example, the Sword Skill of the cultivation method for sword techniques required the chosen sword not to be shorter than 1.5 meters and not longer than 2 meters.
That's insane; isn't 2 meters already a giant sword?
And for the Meteor Hammer technique, the suggested data for matching objects specified that the hammerhead should weigh at least 100 kg; otherwise, the full power could not be unleashed, and the heavier the weapon, the better.
Apart from that, several other knife techniques were also no exception, with the most exaggerated being a technique called Hegemon Ten Slashes, requiring the knife to be 3 meters long and 0.5 meters wide.
How is this even a knife? It's more like a door panel.
However, considering that the people who created these methods had targeted them for dealing with mutated beasts, Jack could somewhat understand.
After all, those mutated beasts had body sizes of several meters or even over ten meters, not to mention the huge giant beasts; if the weapon was too small, wouldn't it just tickle them?
In the course of his reflection, Jack finally chose one main cultivation method, the Dragon Elephant Power, and one blade technique, the Mind's Eye Bright Knife, with a suggested weapon length of 2 meters.
After deciding on a cultivation method, Jack took a deep breath.
It was quite troublesome to choose because of his indecisiveness since although all these cultivation methods were low-level, each seemed excellent;
Once mastered, they could even ignore the attacks of light firearms.
Moreover, each cultivation method was designed to exploit a certain advantage of the human body to the extreme, specifically for killing.
Next, it was time to exchange for cultivation materials.
That's right; True Martial Arts could be potent, but their cultivation could be problematic, as many physical cultivation techniques required supplementary resources to get started.
For example, to get started with Dragon Elephant Power, one needed to apply a mutated beast called Tyrant Elephant's blood on their body during cultivation, to gain some attributes of the elephant.
Once successfully cultivated, the person's strength would greatly increase.
When Jack finally decided on a cultivation method, a virtual helmet slowly descended above his head, and without hesitation, he put it on.
"Identity verification in progress… Verification passed."-
"Please relax, and don't be nervous. Initiating data transfer for Dragon Elephant Power and Mind's Eye Bright Knife…"
A screen appeared before Jack's eyes, and on it, a burly middle-aged man at least 2 meters tall began to practice Dragon Elephant Power.
On the man's body, gas and blood flow routes appeared like arrows following a certain rule…action
These images, transmitted through special pupil memory light beams, could be maintained in the brain without forgetting for a month, being in a state of instant recall.
And one month was enough for new students to get started with a method….
When Jack came out, Lori had already left.
Jack took the elevator to the third floor, but he couldn't find Lori. Instead, he saw Justin, who was practicing not far away. Justin's eyes lit up when he saw him.
Excitedly, Justin ran over with his hands wearing spiked gloves, which looked like motorcycle helmets. He was about to pat Jack on the shoulder, but Jack quickly blocked it.
"Are you trying to kill me?"
"Haha… sorry, just a habit."
Justin chuckled and put his hand down. Then, he curiously asked, "Jack, tell me, what are your basic stats like? For example, your punching force?"
There was no need to hide it, Jack casually said, "Arm strength 102, punching force 210, kicking force 290, just enough to reach the First Layer Heaven."
"Arm strength of 102, and punching force only at 200 kg, it seems you haven't learned any fighting techniques."
Normally, people with professional training could have a punching force three times their arm strength, even four times for those who specifically trained for muscle enhancement.
Justin laughed and said, "But it's already pretty good. With your basic stats reaching the First Layer Heaven, you'll receive contribution reward points every month, which can help you quickly enter the world of True Martial."
The First Layer Heaven threshold was having an arm strength of over 100 kg and doubled constitution after Foundation Establishment.
"Moreover, I remember that you initially had an average physique, not even reaching the standard of an ordinary person."
"That's right." Jack nodded. His body was originally weak and appeared somewhat malnourished.
"That means your body has high compatibility with strengthening physique and increasing strength cultivation methods. The Body Casting Skill could enhance your constitution by 0.6 times."
"Only in this way can it explain how you broke through to the First Layer Heaven all at once."
At this point, Justin couldn't help but show envy.
Having high compatibility with certain cultivation methods, such as strength and defense, was also a form of hidden talent. As long as you choose the right method, you can achieve twice the result with half the effort.
"I guess I'm just lucky," Jack said modestly.
He knew Justin misunderstood, but it worked out for the best.
When his avatar evolved again, his physique would definitely improve greatly. This reason could be used to cover up the sudden explosion of his strength in the future.
"By the way, Justin, what were your stats when you reached Foundation Establishment?" Jack asked, wanting to know the stats of these 'geniuses' who had reached Foundation Establishment within a week.
"Me? I did alright."
Justin grinned smugly, "My arm strength was 140, punching force 340, and kicking force was 420. How about that, am I not impressive?"
"You should know that Crystal Leinster's arm strength was just 130 when she completed Foundation Establishment, so I'm even stronger."
Jack nodded, "Indeed, that's impressive."
Using an average untrained person's arm strength of 50 kg, Justin had a physique of at least 28 when he completed Foundation Establishment, 6 points higher than him.
Body Casting Skill's enhancement might have only given him an increase of two or three points, or else he wouldn't have been envious of Jack's 0.6 times enhancement.
Plus, considering an estimated 10-point improvement during Foundation Establishment, he must have had a base physique of 16 points before practicing, well beyond ordinary people.
With additional resources to replenish Qi Blood, it was no wonder their cultivation speed was so fast.
"Jack, don't listen to him bragging."
At this moment, Freya approached and said, "Justin, don't forget that the average arm strength of women is only 40 kg."
"Even if Class Leader had practiced some physiques before, having an arm strength of 130 kg after Foundation Establishment indicates that her base physique is three times stronger than an ordinary person, even higher enhancement than you."
"Really? Did I remember it wrong, aren't men and women's base strength the same?"
With his bluff called out, Justin looked confused.

19 Chapter 19: Sticking Together
Translator: 549690339
Ignoring the feigned ignorance from Justin Welan, Freya Louise looked towards Jack Clark, suggesting, "It's almost noon, shall we go eat together?"
"The canteen in the Martial Sects Area is different from the one in the humanities section. There's Unique Beast meat every day."
Upon hearing this, Jack became curious: "Unique Beast meat, what's the difference in taste compared to ordinary meat?"
"There's not much difference in taste, it's just chewier and more nutritious since the meat in the canteen is from ordinary farmed Unique Beasts."
As she spoke, Freya Louise brushed her hair behind her ears.
At this moment, the office door opened in the distance, and Lori Parma glanced at the three of them: "It's still a bit early for lunch, Jack, come over and sign some agreements."
"…Alright, teacher." Not knowing what to sign, Jack hesitated, greeted Freya and Justin, and followed Lori into the office.
"This is the 'Law Prohibiting Cultivators from Using violence against Ordinary People' and this is the 'Non-Disclosure Agreement for Cultivation Methods'."
"Also, this is the 'School Weapon Management Contract' and the 'Cultivator Daily Notice Instructions' and 'Guidelines for Taking Action in Unjust Situations'…"
As she spoke, Lori Parma took out a stack of documents from the drawer and gave them to Jack.
Some were regulations he needed to sign, while others were things to pay attention to after becoming a cultivator student, including weapon management.
There were so many documents that even Jack was overwhelmed at first glance.
Seeing his headache, Lori Parma smiled: "I didn't say you had to read it all at once. You can take it home and read it slowly after school today, and give it to me tomorrow."
"Alright, teacher." Jack finally relaxed.
Lori Parma nodded: "I've looked at your Foundation Establishment data. It's good. Have you chosen your Cultivation Method?"
"Yes." Jack nodded.
Lori Parma reminded: "Since you've chosen, go to the Logistics Department to collect cultivation resources after lunch and start practicing."
"You should know that Foundation Establishment is not only about strengthening your constitution, it also changes it to a certain extent, making you more compatible with Extraordinary Energy."
"All you need to do next is cultivate True Martial Arts, carry Qi Blood, and you'll be able to absorb the extraordinary energy from the outside world to strengthen yourself."
"And during the few days after your foundation building is complete, your body will be more sensitive and active to extraordinary energy, making your cultivation more efficient."
Jack was slightly stunned, not expecting there to be so much to it.
No wonder Justin and the others were gone for a long time after completing their foundation building.
"Thank you for the reminder, teacher." Jack gratefully said.
Lori Parma said indifferently: "That's what I'm supposed to do. If you have any questions about cultivation in the future, you can come ask me. I'll be here for a while every morning."
Upon leaving the office, Jack saw Justin, Freya, Sherry Lesser, and two other male and female students chatting about something.
Justin said cheerfully, "Jack, you're out! Let's go eat and tell you something on the way."
Jack looked at Sherry and the others, nodded slightly, and said, "Alright."
…
The canteen in the Cultivation Area was on the 30th floor, the taste was similar to that in the humanities area, but the portions were larger and mostly meat-based.
Besides, it was quite crowded.
There were nearly fifty classes in Senior One, and many students from these classes had made breakthroughs. Some had as many as ten in Class 3 and even less in other classes, with five or six.
At this rate, there were already more than 300 First Grade students who had completed their foundation building.
The group served themselves and found a quieter corner to sit in.
Jack and Justin sat together on one side, while Freya and class leader Sherry Lesser were on the other, with two classmates sitting nearby.
Once seated, Sherry smiled at Jack across the table: "First of all, congratulations to Student Clark for successfully building your foundation within half a month."
Jack modestly replied, "It's nothing compared to your achievements."
Sherry shook her head slightly, "It's not a compliment. With your ability to build your foundation within half a month, your talent has surpassed most people in the school. This is also related to the matter we wanted to discuss with you."
"Please, do tell."action
Sherry didn't beat around the bush: "For us, the foundation building is just the beginning. We still have a long way to go, so we're planning to form a club."
"Club."
"Yes, a club."
"The club would serve two purposes. One is to exchange ideas on cultivating True Martial Arts, encourage each other, and prepare for future trials."
"Trials? Do we need to fight?" Jack was slightly stunned.
"Of course."
Sherry said matter-of-factly, "We don't just cultivate True Martial Arts for the sake of interest. Without experiencing battle, how can we forge the heart of a strong man?"
"Haven't you noticed, student Clark, that there are very few Second and Third Grade Martial Cultivation students in the school? Even cultivators in society are relatively scarce."
"I didn't pay much attention to that."
Having been here for half a month and with so many things happening, Jack hadn't been paying attention to these issues.
Although he had occasionally wondered why he hardly saw any cultivators on the street, he thought they were just hiding their abilities.
"After the second year, all cultivating students have to participate in trials. In previous years, the trial locations were usually the military blockade of the primitive forest."
"Over the years, the number of Mutated Creatures has increased, so they need to be cleared regularly. These trials are somewhat dangerous, with casualties every year."
"Faced with this situation, many second-year students decide to team up to increase their chances of completing the tasks. This is also the reason why I want to set up the club."
"Currently, the club has five members, all classmates, and if we manage to integrate well in the coming year, we will form a team to participate in the trials next year."
"Of course, if we find any differences in character, ideas, etc. during this year, we can quit the club at any time."
"So, student Clark, are you interested in joining?"
Faced with Sherry's invitation, Jack hesitated for a moment
In fact, joining this club had its advantages, such as sharing information and gaining knowledge.
Sherry and Justin, among others, had familial backgrounds that granted them access to many secrets unknown to ordinary people.
With their talents, they would be well ahead of ordinary people and the gap between them would widen further.
Of course, if you had monstrous talent, you could surpass them later.
But, how many people with monstrous talent are there amongst ordinary people in this world?
Moreover, Jack was aware that Sherry's invitation had to do with him building his foundation within half a month, and his talent was average, not too bad.
It wasn't that Sherry and the others were being practical, but that dragons do not mix with snakes.
In just a short while, Jack had weighed the pros and cons and then tactfully said, "Could you give me two days to consider it?"
"…Fine." Sherry hesitated for a moment, realizing that this was Jack's tactful rejection.
She couldn't understand why Jack would refuse to join a club that was obviously more beneficial for him.
Not just Sherry, but others were also surprised.
They didn't know that Jack had too many secrets, and compared to the small benefits of joining the club, he still felt that cultivating alone was better.

"Mr. Willard, aren't you going to ask me why I refused to join your club?"
"Can't be bothered to ask, Jack, I'm sure you have your reasons."
After lunch, everyone dispersed after Jack declined their invitation.
Jack was going to exchange cultivation resources at the Logistics Department, and Justin Welan volunteered to show him the way. On the way, Jack was surprised that Justin didn't ask him why he refused to join.
"By the way, Jack, you completed Foundation Establishment within half a month. According to the rules, you can earn 3 Contribution Points every month, so don't waste them."
"If someone comes to collect Contribution Points from you, just give them a punch and tell them to scram."
"So there are people who buy Contribution Points."action
"Of course, everyone's in short supply."
Justin explained, "Under normal conditions, the school's Contribution Points exchange rate is one to one thousand. In the Black Market, it's one to three thousand, but both are hard to come by."
"Especially for us newcomers, Contribution Points are even more important. We can exchange them for resources that are not available in the market at the Logistics Department."
"And for every freshman's first purchase of cultivation resources, the school offers a discount."
"For example, the Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood you're going to exchange for next. One portion costs fifty thousand yuan in the market, and ordinary people can't buy it. But with Contribution Points, you only need 20."
"And weapons, like ordinary Level 1 alloy swords, sell for 30,000 to 50,000 pieces. But in the school, you only need ten Contribution Points."
"Besides, if you want to practice other Cultivation Methods, you also need Contribution Points. So everyone is short of them, and some people go and buy them from the freshmen."
"Some new students who've just completed Foundation Establishment can't resist the temptation of selling their points at 3,000 or even 5,000 for one Contribution Point."
"This happens every year, and those who sell their Contribution Points soon regret it."
"Why doesn't the school remind these freshmen?" Jack couldn't help but wonder.
Justin shrugged, "The school isn't your nanny. They have already prepared basic resources for you. If you can't resist temptation, who's to blame?"
"That's true," Jack nodded.
In this world, ordinary people are still the majority. One Contribution Point for a few thousand yuan is indeed a huge temptation for many ordinary high school students.
"Moreover, the discount offered to freshmen can only be applied to their corresponding cultivation resources. There are many restrictions on Contribution Points trading and exchange rights, so there are no loopholes for people to exploit."
As the two talked, they arrived at the D Building where the Logistics Department was located.
As soon as they entered the lobby, they noticed a few older students looking at them. Among them, a blonde student seemed particularly enthusiastic.
"Junior, do you want to sell Contribution Points? I'll buy one point for 5,000 yuan."
Without waiting for Jack to speak, Justin snapped back, "Scram! Get as far away as you can, you scum who sucks freshmen's blood."
The blonde male student narrowed his eyes, exuding a faintly dangerous aura, and said in a deep voice, "Junior, I was just asking if you wanted to trade normally. There's no need to be so rude, right?"
"I advise you to be more polite. I'm not a freshman."
"What, you want to bite me?"
Justin wasn't afraid of him at all. He puffed up his chest and said disdainfully, "Come on, hit me if you dare. Don't think I'm scared of you just because you started cultivating a year before me. Hit me, if you have the guts!"
"Come on, hit me!"
Looking at Justin's arrogant face, the sophomore student's face turned ugly, but for some reason, he didn't dare to make a move.
"In the school, I may not be able to do anything to you, but don't be too arrogant." With that, the blonde student left in a cold huff.
"Tch! Threatening me? You think I'm scared?"Justin scoffed, "Don't think that cultivating for an extra year makes you anything special. My brother is a high-level cultivator, try to bully me outside of school and see what happens."
Upon hearing the words 'high-level cultivator', the blond male student's face changed drastically, and he left the scene much faster than before.
Watching the senior students leave, Jack looked at Justin with a newfound appreciation and clicked his tongue, "Well, well, Mr. Willard, I didn't expect you to have such a domineering side."
"Hey! Jack, you're using the wrong words. I'm scolding them for justice, how can it be called domineering?"
"But you don't really need to care about these senior students. They don't dare to make a move in school, they can only intimidate the freshman with their status."
"As for outside the school, they won't retaliate over such trivial matters. Otherwise, if they were reported, they wouldn't be able to bear the consequences."
As they spoke, the two came to a window counter.
"Teacher, I want to exchange for a bottle of Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood."
"Enter your Student ID."
"Identity Verification Passed …"
"Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood requires 20 Contribution Points, but since you're a freshman, your first exchange of cultivation resources and weapons will be discounted by 90%. Do you want to proceed?"
"Yes."
Without any glitches, the teacher deducted 2 Contribution Points from Jack and turned to operate a cabinet behind him.
Subsequently, the edge of the wall moved, and a small lift-like compartment descended, revealing a palm-sized black bottle when it opened.
After accompanying Jack to exchange for the Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood, Justin left with a chuckle, as he still had cultivation to do in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Jack returned to the third floor alone and applied for a Private Cultivation Room.
In the 20-square-meter cultivation room, Jack took off his shirt, opened the bottle of Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood, and was met with a strong, pungent smell of blood.
Jack carefully poured out a drop of the thick, frozen-like Essence Blood, feeling an intense heat from his hand.
Following the instructions, Jack began to apply the Essence Blood to his body – the front, back, arms, and legs. Soon, his entire body was covered in bright red blood.
At this moment, Jack closed his eyes slightly, and the beginning of the Dragon Elephant Power appeared in his mind.
"Human strength is limited, and the human body alone cannot rival those gigantic creatures. Therefore, I created this cultivation method to strengthen oneself by borrowing external force."
"To cultivate this technique, one must apply the blood essence of mutated elephant-type beasts to their body, with Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood being the most effective for beginners. After applying the Essence Blood to the entire body…"
Recalling the cultivation steps, Jack's Qi Blood began to circulate according to the Dragon Elephant Power route, his Spirit Power spread out, attracting the surrounding Heavenly Energy.
Boom!
As the Extraordinary Energy entered his body, Jack's Qi Blood was ignited again, and the Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood applied to his body surface was affected as well.
The Essence Blood became scorching hot as strands of hot steam mixed with Extraordinary Energy poured into Jack's body, being refined by his circulating Qi Blood.
Indistinctly, Jack faintly heard the overbearing roar of a massive elephant, causing his consciousness to tremble slightly.
With his mind focused and undistracted, Jack didn't pay any attention to the mental influence and concentrated on refining the Extraordinary Energy and the Essence Blood's power. One cycle, two cycles…
Huff! Huff!
With the absorption of the Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood and the functioning of the Cultivation Method, Jack's physique began to undergo a special transformation: his muscles and skin became stronger and more resilient.
Even his internal organs were affected – his breathing became heavy like the low growl of an elephant, and a faint, oppressive aura began to emanate from his body.
It was as if the person standing there wasn't a youth, but a massive, awe-inspiring elephant.

21 Chapter 21: Become Strong, Trading with Pain
Translator: 549690339
In the cultivation room, as the boiling Qi Blood subsided, Jack Clark slowly opened his eyes, and a faint sharp glint flashed in them, fierce and intimidating.
"Is this True Martial? It's indeed powerful."
With a sigh, Jack clenched his right hand slightly, and the muscles of his entire arm swelled a little, forming a strong force concentrated in his palm.
He could feel that his overall physical attribute had not increased much, only that his skin and muscles had become a bit tougher.
However, after practicing the Dragon Elephant Power, the nature of the power in his body had changed.
The 'strength' changed from its original loose state to a more cohesive, overbearing, and substantial state, allowing him to unleash about twice the destructive power in his every move.
Don't underestimate this improvement. If Jack's punching power was 210 kilograms in the morning test, he would now be able to unleash as much as 400 kilograms, a terrifying increase.
And this is still without mastering the Dragon Elephant Power's matching battle skills.
According to the Cultivation Method's description, there are two battle skills that come with Dragon Elephant Power. Each skill allows the user to unleash far more than their limit, just like a giant elephant stomping on the ground.
After briefly sensing the changes within his body, Jack moved his thoughts and called up the attribute page.
Level: First Layer Heaven
Physique: 23
Strength: 24
Agility: 19
Spirit: 24
Talent: Soul Split
Cultivation Methods: Lotus Platform Meditation Skill[Complete]Dragon Elephant Power[Beginner, First Layer]
Avatar: …
Having just mastered the Cultivation Method, his physique increased by 2 points, his strength attribute increased by 3 points, and there wasn't much else… "Huh! There's no proficiency remark behind the True Martial Arts."
Jack was slightly taken aback, and he looked at the remark behind the Dragon Elephant Power, only to find that there was indeed no hint of progress.
However, there was an additional level remark.
After researching for a while without any results, Jack shook his head, opened the door of the cultivation room, walked into the dressing room, and washed off the dried bloodstains on his body.
It was already past 5 pm at this time, and no one was on the third floor, but surprisingly, Lori Parma was still in her office.
Upon seeing this, Jack knocked on the half-open door and greeted Lori Parma inside.
"Teacher, I'm leaving first."
"Go ahead. By the way, Jack, I remember you also chose a weapon Cultivation Method." Lori Parma called out to Jack again.
"Yes."
Lori Parma reminded him, "The weapon Cultivation Method is not urgent. Now you should focus your main energy on the main Cultivation Method, and even after school, you should practice diligently."
"You should know that the First Layer Heaven is still an ordinary person, just with a bit more strength than ordinary people. Only after breaking through to the Second Layer Heaven will the gap widen significantly."
"Of course, excessive hard work can be counterproductive, so you should occasionally take time to attend cultural classes, knowing when to relax and when to work hard."
"Thank you for the reminder, teacher." Jack nodded, then greeted her again before turning to leave.
As for this Martial Cultivation Teacher, Jack initially thought she was a stern and cold person, but today he found out that she was actually quite amiable.
After leaving Building C, Jack did not walk through the playgrounds to the main gate as usual, but followed the signs to the South Gate instead.
This route to the Cultivation Area was much shorter and was also the reason why martial cultivation students and culture class students rarely met.
They didn't enter or exit through the same gate, so it would be strange if they did run into each other.
When Jack arrived home, it was already past 6 pm.
Fortunately, he had sent a message to Glenn Clark at noon, saying that he would be back late today. So when he opened the door and entered, he saw Glenn cooking.
"Bro, you're back."As soon as he turned his head, Glenn Clark exclaimed in surprise, looking at Jack Clark: "Bro, how come you suddenly seem much more imposing after just one day?"
Jack glanced at him: "Is it that exaggerated?"
"No, really bro." Glenn shook his head, trying to describe the feeling, but not knowing where to start.
Jack still looked the same, but the previous delicate young man's image was gone, seemingly replaced with a certain heavy and pressing aura.
Jack shook his head: "Alright, don't think too much. It's probably because I've successfully cultivated True Martial."
"True Martial! Bro, you've achieved Foundation Establishment?"
Glenn's eyes widened, excitedly exclaiming, "Isn't it said that Foundation Establishment is very difficult for Seniors One? Many people can't succeed in a month. Bro, you're amazing."
"Ha ha… Now I want to see who dares to say my brother can't cultivate martial arts."
Jack cultivating True Martial seemed to make Glenn even more excited and happy than Jack himself. As soon as Doris Raven returned, he couldn't wait to tell her.
However, as an adult, Doris was more composed. With slightly red eyes, she looked at Jack with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
That's because as long as one becomes a cultivator, regardless of their level of achievement, they at least have a unique skill.
In this era of increasingly powerful individual martial strength, power equates to status, as many groups and listed companies like to hire cultivators at high prices.
As for why those companies and groups want to pay high prices to hire cultivators, Doris didn't know.
But she knew that as a cultivator, they would have preferential treatment if they joined the police or military systems, and the criteria for civil servant assessments would be lower than those for ordinary people.
Originally, Doris had never imagined that Jack could become a cultivator. After all, she knew all too well how weak her eldest son's physique was.
He would easily catch a cold if he wasn't careful. A slightly more serious illness might be pneumonia or nephritis. He even had a high fever and passed out the day before the school started.
Who would have thought he would suddenly bring her such a pleasant surprise?
At this time, she felt that all the hardships and tiredness she had suffered as a single mother raising two children had been worth it.
After dinner, while Doris was washing the dishes, Glenn eagerly pulled Jack aside, asking him to demonstrate how powerful True Martial was.
Jack tried to refuse but didn't succeed, so he stopped resisting and went to the courtyard.
There was a dead peach tree on the left side of his small courtyard. The tree trunk was about ten centimeters thick, and some parts of it had split open, and its branches were sparse.
Jack walked to the peach tree and signaled Glenn to stay back. He took a deep breath, his figure slightly lowered, his left foot stepped forward, and his upper body turned to the right.
It was already 7 pm, and the sunset was setting in the west.
A few elderly neighbors who had finished dinner came out for a walk. Seeing the Clark brothers in the courtyard doing something, they curiously looked over.
Then they saw Jack let out a low shout. The muscles in his body instantly swelled as powerful Dragon Elephant Power coursed through his body. Using his waist as an axis, his right leg swung like a battle axe.
When he completed Foundation Establishment, Jack's kicking power reached 290 kilograms. After practicing Dragon Elephant Power in the afternoon, his entire body's power had undergone a transformation.
Bang!
With a nearly 600 kg kick tearing through the air, Jack roundhouse kicked the tree trunk. The withered peach tree cracked under the immense power, making a snapping sound as it was broken in half.
Thump!
The tree trunk and branches fell to the ground, making a heavy dull sound.action
The noise attracted Doris from inside, who, with Glenn, looked in astonishment at the broken peach tree.
Outside the courtyard, the elderly neighbors taking a walk were also startled.
They couldn't believe the person who just kicked down a tree was the Clark family's sickly child?
As everyone was amazed at the broken tree on the ground, Jack had already retracted his leg and stood calmly, watching the scene with a faint aura of an expert.
Only his right leg was shaking slightly.
It couldn't be helped; it hurt.
Although the physical resilience of his skin and muscles had been improved upon entering the realm of Dragon Elephant Power, his current strength was still limited and wasn't to the point where it could withstand blades and spears.

"Jenny, your Jack has come into his own now."
"Yeah, he kicked such a thick tree and broke it right away. As expected of a cultivator, if my old arms and legs got hit, they'd definitely be done for."
"Uncle Isobel, you do have a sense of humor."
"Congratulations, Jenny, your family has a cultivator."
"Oh, please, Aunt Raven, you're too kind."
"Jack has just begun his Foundation Establishment, he still has a long way to go until he's a real cultivator. Perhaps one day he'll find martial training too bitter and tiresome, and won't want to cultivate anymore."
In the yard, the elderly folks taking a stroll showered Doris Raven with praise, and she modestly accepted.
Inside the yard, Jack Clark and Glenn Clark were dismembering the peach tree, shaving off its branches, chopping the trunk into sections and stacking them on the side, ready to be disposed of.
However, it was actually Glenn who was doing all the work.
"Bro, you're the one who broke it, why do I have to chop the trunk while you just watch?" As he said this, Glenn rubbed his sore shoulders.
Jack, annoyed, replied, "Because you're the one who wanted to see the Power of True Martial in action, so stop talking and get back to work."
His shins were still hurting, he couldn't squat down, what was he supposed to do?
However, Glenn was just complaining. After witnessing the overwhelming power of True Martial, he was incredibly excited and even more resolute in his determination to cultivate.
At night, the Hexagonal Power Lycophyte, over fifty centimeters long, lay lazily on the table, its face expressing a human-like languor, its black, bean-like eyes seeming vacant as if it were in a daze.
In the room, Jack Clark sat cross-legged on the bed, his eyes tightly closed.
Inside his body, the Qi Blood was circulating continuously along the Dragon Elephant Power route, refining the extraordinary energy that had been introduced into his body. Each circulation made his constitution a little stronger.
According to the Cultivation Methods, the main focus of the First Layer Heaven is to strengthen the constitution, tempering the skin, flesh and bones to become more robust.
When both the constitution and Qi Blood reach the current realm's limit, something will be produced from nothing, cultivating a similar True Strength to that in Wuxia novels, and then breakthrough to the Second Layer.
The basic requirement for reaching the limit of the First Layer Heaven is an arm strength of 300 kilograms, and a constitution about five times that of ordinary people.
This is just basic data. Combined with the cultivation of True Martial Arts, even a cultivator at the First Layer Heaven can unleash formidable fighting power, far exceeding ordinary people.
In the following days, nothing unexpected happened, everything was running as scheduled.
Every day, Jack would go to school to cultivate on time, seeking advice from Lori Parma whenever he encountered problems. Occasionally, he would exchange ideas with Justin Welan.
In addition, his Avatar, which was eating a lot every day, was growing visibly in size at a speed visible to the naked eye. Its evolution value was steadily increasing by 2 points every day.
Monday, morning.
On the third floor, in the cultivation area, Jack Clark, sitting cross-legged, slowly opened his eyes, a bitter smile appearing on his slightly tired face.
Not far away, sitting on the sofa resting, Justin Welan said with a smile, "How is it? Can't you accept this kind of intense loss?"
"Indeed." Jack nodded.
It had been three days since his Foundation Establishment. At first, he was training hard every day, both his physique and strength were increasing by 1 point a day.
At this rate, he would reach his First Layer Heaven Limit in just a month.
However, three days later, Jack realized that the speed at which his body absorbed extraordinary energy during cultivation had sharply decreased.
According to his current cultivation speed, he estimated that it would take at least four days to increase his attributes by 1 point. He would probably take about four months to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit.
Even Jack was a bit taken aback by this gap."Hey, I was in a similar situation as you back then."
Justin Welan chuckled, "Enjoying that rapid progress when you just get to the Foundation Establishment stage, and then feeling the speed slow down several times after a few days, it's really uncomfortable."
"Otherwise, with the cultivation speed I had just after Foundation Establishment, I was confident I could reach the First Layer Heaven Limit in half a month."
"But now, I feel it's going to take me more than a month."
Jack Clark nodded.
Justin Welan had achieved Foundation Establishment for half a month. Under such circumstances, he still needed to cultivate for more than a month, and it would probably take just over two months to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit.
This cultivation speed was about twice his.
Now, the strength of both of them was very weak, this difference did not seem significant, but when they later cultivate to the Second Layer Heaven, Third Layer Heaven, or even higher realms.
The gap brought by this talent will only get bigger and bigger.
Of course, being fast in cultivation does not necessarily mean one will become a strong man.
Similarly, in the cultivation world, there is no lack of records of ordinary people, who initially cultivated slowly, accumulating over a long period to surpass the genius, but this probability is too low.
Moreover, while ordinary people are striving to cultivate, these geniuses are also trying, such as…
Whew!
In the distance, Crystal Leinster, dressed in a tight-fitting cultivation suit, exhaled and slowly put down the long sword in her hand that's 1.5 meters long, 10 centimeters wide, and weighs twenty kilograms.
The school's cultivation area is divided into two types, one is the personal area for the practice of static exercises like Jack Clark, and the other is a wide field required for practicing sword formulas and sword method.
The surrounding walls were also reinforced with some high-strength material, along with some accompanying testing and cultivation equipment, which can meet the normal cultivation needs of most students.
A few geniuses who prefer quiet, or people who have cultivation needs, can also rent some special cultivating rooms from the school for a fee.
However, this is expensive, such as the activity room that Crystal Leinster and others applied for, which costs tens of thousands a month, and it also needs to be audited, reportedly taking two days to approve.
Crystal Leinster wiped her sweat and walked over after putting the long sword on the rack: "Jack Clark, don't think too much, although your cultivation speed is a bit slower than ours, your foundation is solid."
"Also, the way of cultivation values persistence, a short-term advantage doesn't mean everything."
Although Jack Clark rejected their small club that day, Crystal Leinster didn't mind, as the class leader, she sometimes reminded Jack Clark of some rudimentary information about cultivation.action
Jack Clark nodded slightly: "No worries, Class Leader, this discrepancy doesn't affect me yet."
At this time, Justin Welan curiously asked: "Class Leader, how much longer will it take for you to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit?"
Crystal Leinster wiped the sweat from her forehead, thought for a moment: "It should happen within half a month."
This immediately widened Justin Welan's eyes: "How is that possible? You only completed your Foundation Establishment two days earlier than us using the same Advanced Skills, so why are you progressing so much faster?"
Crystal Leinster gave him a sidelong glance and coldly sneered: "Because you're lazy, look at Jack Clark, he cultivates as soon as his energy recovers and makes progress every day, but what about you?"
Justin Welan was speechless and said: "Class Leader, we are just high school students, not dedicated cultivators, why do we need to cultivate so desperately?"
"Moreover, it's not just me who is resting, they are also resting, why don't you lecture them?"
Not far away, Freya with her long hair falling over her shoulders was quietly reading a Taoist book on the sofa opposite her, a girl named Vera Lee was eating pastries.
If someone unfamiliar with the scene saw this, they would think this was a place to enjoy afternoon tea.
But Jack Clark knew that this was nothing more than their own way of recovery. Operating Qi Blood and refining the Extraordinary energy is actually very exhausting for Spirit Qi.
Whether it's Foundation Cultivation Method or the present True Martial Arts, there's no easy part about cultivation.

23 Chapter 23: Light King
Translator: 549690339
Looking at the arguing Justin Welan, Jack Clark's gaze swept across Crystal Leinster.
Today, the Class Leader's slightly curly purple hair was tied behind her head. Due to the close-fitting white cultivation suit, her already tall and slender figure looked even more graceful.
Especially from Jack's angle, there was a feeling of an imposing mountain range.
However, looking but not being impolite, Jack only glanced briefly before retracting his gaze.
Through the conversation between the two just now, and his understanding of his classmates' cultivation in the past few days, he had a rough comparison of their progress in cultivation.
Currently among the freshmen, the best talent was Jane Aiken from Class 1.
That girl had reached Foundation Establishment in two days. When she established her foundation, her basic attributes were four times that of ordinary people.
Justin Welan and Jack said that she would be able to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit within a week. By now, she should be trying to break through the Second Layer Heaven.
Then there were the geniuses like Crystal Leinster, who broke through in three to four days, and after successfully building their foundation, they could reach the First Layer Heaven Limit in about a month.
And then there were the ordinary geniuses like Justin Welan, who required around two months after their seven-day Foundation Establishment.
As for Freya Louise and others like Jack, who established their foundations within half a month, it would take them at least three or four months to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit without any accidents.
At this moment, Jack suddenly felt that cultivation was difficult, as if it was as hard as reaching the sky.
These 'geniuses' who had systematic cultivation support from the school needed several months to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit. How long would it take to break through the Second Layer Heaven?
And what about those who completed their Foundation Establishment within a month? How long would it take them to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit?
Half a year or a year?
No wonder that post said that people who could not establish their foundations within a month with the help of the school should be considered a waste of time to continue cultivating.
After resting for a while and feeling his Spirit Qi recover somewhat, Jack resumed his cultivation.
His Dragon Elephant Power cultivation had slowed down, and the attribute page no longer displayed the specific progress of proficiency, but Jack could still feel that he was making progress.
The feature of solidified proficiency still existed, and he could improve as long as he cultivated.
This allowed him to not need to spend time like Justin Welan and the others to consolidate his cultivation progress every day. Otherwise, it wouldn't take him more than four months to reach the First Layer Heaven Limit.
Instead, like those who only built their foundation in a month, it would be half a year at least, since that was his true 'aptitude'.
Today, Jack left the school after cultivating until five o'clock.
As always, he went to the market to buy groceries first. He also bought more than ten kilograms of fish meat for his Avatar – all small white strips, as it was the cheapest and most cost-effective option.
Now that his Avatar had grown in size, its appetite had increased, requiring four meals a day, each with more than four kilograms of fish meat.
It was already demanding so much food at this size, what would happen after it evolved further?
This further affirmed Jack's idea of releasing his Avatar into the wild. He simply couldn't afford to keep it.
Thinking of his Avatar, Jack remembered he still had something he almost forgot. He picked up the groceries with one hand and took out his mobile phone with the other to dial a number.
"Hello, who is this?" A young man's voice came from the other end.
Jack reminded, "Boss Lee, it's me, the one who ordered the Iron Beetle."
"Oh, it's you. I remember you."
Jack asked, "I wanted to know if the Iron Beetle I reserved can be obtained?"
The boss on the other end affirmed, "Don't worry, I've already asked my friend in the Northern Continent to get it. It will be in Mist River in a few days. Once it arrives, I'll inform you."
"Thank you, Boss Lee."
"You're welcome. It's just business."
After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Jack hung up the phone.
The Iron Beetle was the gene he had prepared for the second evolution fusion of his Avatar. The only advantage of this bug was its hardness and its strong defense.
How hard was it?
A thumb-sized bug that can withstand an adult's step on it without any damage.
There's even a record of a car running over it without causing any harm.
The defensive power of this bug is exactly what the Six-legged Salamander needs right now.
With the addition of strong defense, the strength talent of the Hexagonal Power Lycophyte can be fully utilized, greatly increasing its power and safety.
However, Jack Clark's country doesn't have this type of bug, and it isn't a common pet bug.
So Jack Clark found the pet store owner who he bought the Unicorn Beetle from last time, and after a lengthy conversation, he placed a special order for it for a high price of one thousand.
Even so, the pet store owner could only promise to help find it, but couldn't guarantee its availability.
Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be any problem now.action
When his Avatar evolves again, his physique would probably improve dramatically, perhaps reaching the First Layer Heaven Limit even earlier than Justin Welan.
Time flies when you're busy, and the next day, Jack Clark went directly to the Logistics Department after arriving at school.
"Teacher, I want to buy a knife-type weapon."
The middle-aged man behind the counter looked up at the Freshman in front of him and asked casually, "Have you decided on a model?"
Jack Clark nodded, "Yes, an F Grade 1-26 Straight Knife."
"Alright, first enter your student ID."
As requested, Jack entered his student ID.
"Student ID verification passed, the exchange for the F Grade 1-26 Straight Knife requires 10 contribution points."
The middle-aged man looked up and continued, "You still have a one-time weapon exchange discount, leaving you with 1-point balance. Do you want to buy this weapon?"
"Yes!"
"Hold on…"
After a short while, Jack Clark left the Logistics Department with a more than 2-meter-long weapon box on his back.
Arriving on the Third Floor of Building C, Jack saw Lori Parma leaving her office, accompanied by two vaguely familiar students who should be from Class 3, preparing to get on the elevator.
Jack politely greeted her, "Good morning, Teacher Parma."
Lori Parma nodded, her gaze sweeping over the weapon box on his back, "Planning to practice Sword Skill? Remember, don't be impatient when practicing. Just progress step by step."
Jack acknowledged her advice, then nodded slightly to the two male students from his class.
Carrying the weapon, Jack found an empty Cultivation Area and placed the box on its rack, opening it to reveal a sharp long knife.
The knife had a 50-centimeter handle, a 1.5-meter blade, was 1 centimeter thick, and 10 centimeters wide, resembling an ancient Horse Chopping Knife but heavier.
According to the information, this knife was made of F Grade Alloy. The alloy's strength could rival aerospace metals, and it weighed twenty kilograms. Its characteristics were its sharpness and solidity.
Such a weapon would cost tens of thousands if you tried to purchase it outside, even with connections.
It can be said that the authorities have been very generous to these beginners in Cultivation training, be it resources or other aspects.
In the midst of his thoughts, Jack drew the knife, feeling its weight in his hand.
With Jack's current arm strength of one hundred and forty kilograms, holding a twenty-kilogram straight knife with one arm was somewhat difficult, as all the weight was concentrated in his palm.
When he grasped the hilt with both hands, the difficulty disappeared.
Jack swung the knife a few times to familiarize himself with its feel, then slowly assumed a starting position, his aura changing instantly, and his eyes becoming sharp and menacing.
The first level of the Dragon Elephant Power strengthens the whole body's strength and enhances the toughness of skin, fascia, and bones.
On the other hand, the Mind's Eye Bright Knife is a Sword Skill that mainly focuses on double-arm burst, with an overbearing and fierce sword art style that emphasizes large movements and an oppressive aura, like an angry Light King.
Combining the Furious Power of the Dragon Elephant Power, Jack can unleash even greater combat power.

Ya!
With a shout, Jack Clark moved forward holding the knife with both hands, swiping, cleaving right and left. The air cut by his blade was sharp and edgy. He then took a step forward, slashed diagonally, stabbed, turned around, and swept horizontally.
The knife, the leader among all weapons, embodies a sense of dominance and ferocity. Those who wield it should have an imposing aura, like a ferocious tiger descending a mountain.
As Jack Clark practiced basic knife skills, other students gradually flocked to the third floor. Each found their own vacant area and began practicing.
All these students were from Class 3. There were those like Matt Watkins who had established their foundations earlier on, as well as regular students who had only done so in the last two days. All in all, there were just over a dozen of them.
According to school regulations, a martial cultivation teacher would guide five classes during Senior One, merely providing rudimentary instructions.
By the second semester, once the students were divided into humanities and cultivation subjects, those from the five classes who had established their foundations would be consolidated into one class.action
Only then would they become formal students under Lori Parma, numbering less than a hundred.
By the second semester, the number of these students would be further reduced. Many of those with slow progress or poor qualifications would choose to give up.
After all, not everyone can endure the arduous and monotonous feeling of making no progress over half a year or even a year.
Soon, more than a dozen cultivation areas on the third floor were filled up. Some students practiced knife skills and sword techniques like Jack, while others practiced with a variety of weapons such as rods and clubs.
Others were practicing different forms of martial arts and leg techniques.
However, whether it was practicing palm attacks or weaponry, due to their robust basic attributes, sounds of air being ripped apart and imposing auras filled the room whenever these students moved.
While the students practiced cultivation methods, Lori occasionally patrolled, providing guidance on the spot if she noticed any problem with someone's training.
Students who encountered problems during their practice would also consult her.
However, Crystal Leinster, Justin Welan and a few others were hardly seen on this floor. They had found a temporary room for their training and were awaiting approval for their official cultivation rooms.
In addition to this, upper-class students and talented ones from other classes rented their own quiet cultivation rooms to practice in solitude, making diligent progress.
Drenched in sweat, Jack stopped after half an hour of practice to catch his breath, waiting for his Qi Blood to slowly recover.
Only then did his official practice start.
Listening to the shouting and the sounds of fists and legs ripping through the air, Jack held the handle of his knife in his right hand, with the blade resting diagonally across his body, his back straight.
At the same time, he relaxed his body and mind. With closed eyes, he directed all his focus onto the edge of the blade behind him.
He then amplified his senses, using the sharpness of the blade to stimulate them.
Mind's Eye Bright Knife – The Light King acknowledges the external world while the Mind's Eye focuses internally, training to reach a state called the Mind's Eye. This was similar to a sixth sense that could help sense danger in advance.
The main aim was to evade the sneak attacks of sly mutated beasts within the forest.
Mutated Beasts – an official term for those mutated creatures, not just referring to large animals like lions or tigers.
Over the decades, some animals and insects had mutated into separate species, each obtaining odd capabilities. A sudden attack from them often caught cultivators off guard.
This was also the reason why Jack chose this sword technique. The prerequisite to amassing powerful strength was to survive.
However, despite the uniqueness of this sword technique, very few students chose to cultivate it. The reason was the high entry requirements, requiring a mental perception beyond ordinary people.
The reason Jack dared to cultivate this was not only because he considered his Mental Talent to be adequate but also due to the special attribute of proficiency fixed on his attribute page.
If he could successfully enter the Mind's Eye state once, he would be able to enter it anytime and anywhere.
However…
By noon, Jack had been standing quietly for over two hours. He opened his eyes and let out a bitter smile. He had failed.
But this result was already within his expectations. He never thought he would be able to enter the Mind's Eye state on his first attempt. If one attempt failed, he would try twice, thrice – he was in no hurry.
……"You guys, don't practice martial arts all day, every day. You're high school students, remember? The monthly exams are coming up next week, so take it seriously."
"Even if some of you have good talent and will follow the path of martial cultivation in the future, that's in the future. For now, at least this semester, you are still humanities students."
On Friday, in Class 3's classroom, James Clark stood at the lectern, speaking discontentedly.
All the students were present today, whether it was Jack Clark, Crystal Leinster or anyone else because everyone had received a notice from the class teacher yesterday and dared not be absent.
Despite their practice in True Martial, they still dared not neglect James Clark, their class teacher.
The reason was simple, their class teacher was very strong. As for just how strong, Jack didn't know, but he had heard from Justin Welan.
"It's been almost a month, right? Time flies so fast, right Jack?" During break, Justin Welch leaned against the chair and sighed.
Jack nodded slightly, "Indeed."
He had been practicing True Martial for over a week. Every day he either practiced Dragon Elephant Power or sword skills. He even practiced again before he went to bed at night.
In such a busy and fulfilling situation, he could hardly feel the passage of time.
During this period, several classmates in the class continued to succeed in Foundation Establishment.
Unfortunately, the talents of these classmates indeed fell short. Only one person reached the First Layer Heaven during Foundation Establishment, the others were still struggling to cultivate.
Besides, there were still twenty-five students in the class who hadn't established their foundation yet.
Some of these students had already given up, only a few were still unwilling to give up, hoping to break through in the last week. Their brows were filled with restlessness and urgency.
By contrast, the students who had broken through were more complaint, having lost the initial pressure.
Justin asked at this time: "Jack, tomorrow is Saturday, do you have any plans?"
"Any plans? Of course, to continue practicing." Jack looked at him weirdly.
"I knew you would say that."
Justin Welch held his forehead, "Jack, we're high school students, and now that we've completed Foundation Establishment, there's no need to lead a monk-like life."
"Don't you want to cherish your youth? Going shopping, watching movies and drinking milk tea together with a few beautiful girls on a day off?"
Having said that, Justin Welan gave Jack a wink. Not far away, the pure and beautiful Freya Louise was talking quietly with Vera Lee.
Obviously, Justin was suggesting Jack to ask Freya out tomorrow.
In his view, Jack was handsome and Freya was pure and beautiful, together with their good relationship in the class, they were a perfect match.
As a good friend, a good brother, he naturally wanted to try to bring them together.
Jack shook his head speechlessly at this: "No interest."
What does a kid know about love? Don't they know that everything in this world is fake, and only their own fists are real?
Of course, Jack is not a monk, he also likes to watch beauties, but he'll probably consider these things after he becomes a strong man.
Puberty hasn't hit him hard yet, thinking about these things is too early.
"No interest, Jack, you're actually not interested in Freya Louise? Don't tell me you…" Justin looked at Jack curiously, his eyes widened in disbelief, and he whispered,
"Don't tell me you are into the class leader that cold woman!"
"…Likes your head, don't run your mouth here. If these words get out it won't be good." Jack frowned slightly.
"Alright, I won't joke anymore, Jack." Noticing that Jack was getting a bit serious, Justin diverted the topic, this guy really only thinks about cultivation all day.
He thought about finding an opportunity to bring them together, but it seems that he was overthinking.

25 Chapter 25: The Strongest Power
Translator: 549690339
Under the sunset, Jack Clark walked on the road from school with a single shoulder bag.
Vehicles occasionally passed by on the roadside, and the speakers of clothing shops on the street shouted about clearance sales at a tearful 50% off. An airliner soared into the clouds.
The sights of modern civilization always gave Jack Clark a sense of disharmony, as if it didn't fit his True Martial Style cultivation.
Jack Clark couldn't help but sigh, "What a complicated world."
And time passed so fast; it had been nearly a month. Recalling everything that had happened during that time, a faint smile appeared on Jack Clark's face.
Compared to his previous life where he went to work on time, living day by day under the pressure of mortgages and dowries, Jack Clark preferred his life now.
However, there was a faint sorrow in his eyes.
Fortunately, he still had a brother, and the compensation from his accidental death was enough to support their retirement.
As he walked with his thoughts drifting, Jack Clark stopped suddenly. In front of him was a red traffic light.
There were also some people around him waiting for the traffic lights, including men and women shopping, office workers going home for dinner, and some elderly people taking a walk.
Standing among the crowd, Jack Clark had an inexplicable feeling that they were all so vulnerable.
It seemed that if he barely exerted any effort, these ordinary people would suffer broken bones. No, it wasn't a mere feeling; he was indeed very strong now.
He was so strong that he could kill an ordinary person with a single punch, and he had this delusion just after entering the First Layer Heaven.
No wonder the school and the official authorities imposed strict rules requiring cultivators not to use their martial force to coerce and harm ordinary people, or else they would face severe punishment.
Compared to ordinary people, cultivators were like a completely different species.
Of course, while strictly restricting cultivators, there were also some limitations involving ordinary people who provoked and caused trouble.
But no matter how these laws and regulations were limited, through the surface, Jack Clark keenly noticed the Federation's power seemed terrifyingly powerful.
There were more than two billion people in this world, and the number of cultivators had increased dramatically in recent years to at least over a million.
Despite this situation, the official authorities were still able to monitor the world, suppress all cultivators, and prevent them from disrupting social stability while possessing great power.
Even conflicts between martial arts halls were rarely heard, and there was little news about cultivator conflicts on the Internet. Instead, there were mostly gossips about ordinary cultivators.
It seemed that a hand was intentionally blurring the boundary between ordinary people and cultivators.
It made ordinary people feel that although there were cultivators who were very powerful, there wasn't much difference between them and ordinary people, so there was no need to worry or panic too much.
Those cultivators would not be superior to ordinary people, and everyone was an equal existence. Such information guidance could be found everywhere on the Internet.
How terrifying must the power needed to achieve this be? Jack Clark felt a chill in his heart at the thought.
Keep a low profile, cultivate diligently, and try not to provoke the authorities unless you become strong enough to be invincible. Jack Clark recited silently in his heart.
However, he was in fact an official person, or at least he had some connection with the authorities.
That's because the school was an extension of official power.
Jack Clark returned home deep in thought, and Glenn Clark poked his head out of the kitchen, calling out to him, "Brother, I've bought the fish for you, cleaned and put it in a basin."
"Okay," Jack said with a faint smile on his face.
These days, he had come home late due to his cultivation, and Glenn had taken up the responsibility of preparing dinner every day.
Jack naturally wouldn't refuse this.
Kids should be doing more work; otherwise, playing soccer and basketball all day long was not proper.
Now they were in the cultivation era, and past sports events like basketball and soccer had faded away, with few people enjoying watching them since they had no prospects.
After all, compared to the power of cultivators, basketball and soccer were merely activities for children, and even other sports events were almost extinct.
Holding a basin of fish meat, Jack Clark came to his room on the second floor.
The Six-legged Salamander, which had grown to 64 centimeters with arms as thick as his own, lay lazily on a chair, its tail hanging over the edge and swaying slightly.
On both sides of its flattened head, three pairs of 5-centimeter-long red horns rose like wings, its mouth slightly open revealing two rows of newly grown sharp teeth.
Additionally, with the bulging muscles on its body, sturdy limbs, and sharp claws, it looked even more ferocious than a medium-sized lizard.
Bang!Jack Clark's consciousness sank, controlling the Avatar to jump off the chair, making a dull sound when it landed.
Despite being only a little over sixty centimeters, the Six-legged Salamander weighed more than ten kilograms. It took a few steps to the bowl filled with fish meat and bit into a fish.
With its sharp teeth, the salamander tore the fish meat apart and swallowed it in a few bites, before moving on to the next fish. It was quite fierce when eating.
Moreover, its digestion ability was terrifying.
Even though it consumed around thirty pounds of fish meat daily, the Avatar excreted very little, as if 99% of the matter was digested and converted into biological energy.
While controlling the Avatar to eat, Jack Clark's thoughts were also spreading.
"I wonder how much the Avatar Evolution will improve me this time."
Initially, the palm-sized Avatar had boosted his overall attributes by almost half as it evolved.
Now, the Avatar is similar in size to some medium and small-sized lizards and has a terrifying strength; its evolution should bring even more improvement.
If he wants to catch up or even surpass the geniuses, he'll have to rely on this Avatar.
On Saturday, the second day of the week, Jack Clark still went to school for cultivation.
When he arrived on the Third Floor, he found that one classmate had come even earlier.
"Good morning, Levin." Jack greeted the classmate who was warming up.
Looking at Jack, Sawyer Levin suddenly said, "Jack, do you want to spar?"
Upon hearing this proposal, Jack hesitated for a moment before agreeing, "Sure."
This person was one of the Crystal Leinster Club members, named Sawyer Levin. He came from an ordinary family, similar to Jack.
With a height of around 1.7 meters, he was slightly shorter than the current Jack, looked ordinary, and had a quiet personality, but was very dedicated to his cultivation.
Sawyer's talent was a little better than Jack's. He reached Foundation Establishment four days earlier, practicing a cultivation method called the Ghostly Phantom, which excelled in speed and burst power.
In the Cultivation Area, Jack and Sawyer stood ten meters apart.
A look of excitement appeared on Sawyer's face as he said solemnly, "Jack, my cultivation method is known for speed and burst power. Be careful."
"Come on," Jack remained unfazed.
Whoosh!
As soon as the words fell, Sawyer on the opposite side burst out at an astonishing speed, instantly covering ten meters and appearing to the left of Jack, sweeping out with his right leg.
Thud!
Jack raised his arm to block and stopped Sawyer's kick.
When his arm collided with Sawyer's leg, a dull sound erupted, and the impact of hundreds of kilograms of force made Jack's body involuntarily retreat a step.
With nearly triple the physique of an ordinary person and the True Martial enhancement that excelled in speed, Sawyer's burst of speed was almost double that of Jack's.
And as speed equals strength, even if he couldn't overpower Jack in absolute strength, under the blessing of his speed, every kick would still unleash over four hundred kilograms of force.
Moreover, he was incredibly agile.
Thud! Thud! Thud! Thud!
Sawyer's legs brought up a series of afterimages surrounding Jack, launching relentless attacks like a raging storm, initially suppressing Jack for a moment.
But only momentarily, as Jack, who was primarily practicing the Dragon Elephant Power, had even greater strength. Raising his arms, he easily defended against all attacks.
Meanwhile, the increasingly rugged membrane made his defense soar, as even using his arms to block Sawyer's leg strikes only caused a slight pain.
Suddenly, Jack shouted sharply, his voice like an elephant roar, and the furious howl stunned Sawyer into a pause.
In that instant, Jack seized the opportunity to rush forward, clenching his right fist. With his upper body muscles bulging like an enraged elephant, he threw a punch with his furious power.
Facing Jack's bullet-like lunge punch, Sawyer's face slightly changed, and he crossed his hands, unable to dodge.
Boom!
Under the overbearing power of the enraged elephant roar, Sawyer was blasted back six meters by Jack's punch before stopping. There were two distinct shoe marks on the ground.

"What incredible strength!"
Sawyer Levin's face turned red as he slowly lowered his trembling arms.
Jack Clark also let out a breath, slowly calming his surging Qi Blood, and looked at Sawyer Levin a few metres away, smiling, "You're not too shabby either, Levin."
At this moment, the elevator door in the distance opened, and several students emerged.
Even though it was a Saturday, many students still chose to come to school to cultivate, working hard to catch up with the geniuses who had already reached the Foundation Establishment stage.
Seeing that people had arrived, Jack Clark and Sawyer Levin both lost their interest in continuing their sparring session.
The two of them now had a rough understanding of each other's strength. Overall, their powers seemed to be on par, but Levin knew he had actually lost.
He had reached Foundation Establishment four days earlier than Jack, had spent more time cultivating True Martial, and had slightly better initial talent. Yet, he had just exchanged more than ten moves with Jack and there was no clear winner.
This result made Levin somewhat silent.
He went quietly to the obstacle-filled Cultivation Area and began to cultivate his leg technique even harder.
Meanwhile, Jack stood in his original spot, reflecting on the gains from their sparring, while he circulated the Qi blood in his arms to gradually reduce the swelling.
Speaking of power comparison, blocking a leg with an arm is inherently at a disadvantage. If his skin hadn't become as tough as cow skin, he would have had more than just a bit of swelling after having to endure over ten kicks.
However, Levin was not having an easy time either, as evident from the fact that he couldn't even lift his arm now.
Not only them, he too had made progress during this period.
His current physique attribute was at 27 points, but his strength attribute had already reached 29 points, with an arm strength test of 150 kilograms.
When he delivered a punch at full strength, his basic punching power had reached over 300 kilograms, plus the overbearing force of the Dragon Elephant Power and a double boost.
If an ordinary person were to face this punch, not only their arms would be shattered, but their ribs and chest would collapse, leading to death.
This battle wasn't just about the comparison of speed and strength, but also about the characteristics of both their Cultivation Methods. Levin's Ghostly Phantom Force was sharp and highly penetrating.
On the other hand, the force of the Dragon Elephant Power was solid and overbearing, and it also provided a certain increase to defense.
Of course, Jack was able to easily block Levin's attacks thanks to his five senses becoming much sharper than before. Although he hadn't entered the Heart's Eye Realm yet, his cultivation over the past few days was not in vain.
So what if he could move quickly? Could he move faster than the speed of a swing of the arm?
Moreover, his final punch, if he had changed it to a palm strike, and grabbed Levin's arms the instant he swung his left fist, he would have been able to severely injure him, if not kill him.
Jack seemed to be pondering something, summarising the experiences from this battle.
……
At four in the afternoon, Jack, who had completed his cultivation task for the day, looked a bit tired. After taking a bath in the changing room, he arrived at the thirty-third floor of the library.
Following the labels, Jack flipped through and took a book off the shelf: '2055 Latest Mutated Beast Data Compendium'.
As his cultivation process has slowed down, he decided to enrich his knowledge of the Cultivation World in his spare time, especially regarding the data on Mutated Beasts.
Apart from that, the miscellaneous notes of other cultivators were also worth reading.
They recorded some of their cultivation insights which could be quite helpful for newcomers like Jack.
Many students were also reading at this time slot. Jack noticed a long-haired girl sitting by the window.
The golden sunlight penetrated the glass and shone on her pale face with a hint of red, the three-dimensional features, and the strands of hair hanging down. It was like a perfect profile picture.
Jack couldn't help but walk over and greeted, "Freya, you came to school today too?"
The girl lifted her head, and when she saw him, a faint smile appeared on her face, as she nodded slightly, "Hmm, just arrived a little while ago. Have you finished your cultivation for today?""Almost there, another round of cultivation tonight should do it." Having said that, Jack Clark sat across from her, curiously asking, "You really enjoy reading these, don't you?"
He noticed lately that Freya Louise often read these Taoist Scriptures, seemingly less diligent in her cultivation than before.
Freya gave it some thought and softly said, "Actually, reading is also a form of cultivation for me."
"Cultivation!" Jack Clark paused.
Freya tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear and looked at him. "Jack Clark, have you ever heard of a concept of alignment in True Martial?"
Jack Clark nodded, "Mr. Willard mentioned it."
"Good that you know."
A smile spread across Freya's face, "My cultivation method is rather peculiar, requiring my mind to enter a state of serenity and oblivion. While in this state, my cultivation is twice as effective."
"I've tried various means to achieve this state, and found that reading these Taoist and Buddhist scriptures calms my mind and helps me."
Freya's words sparked thoughts in Jack Clark, "So, is Vera Lee also finding her optimal state for cultivation by constantly eating pastries and snacks apart from her cultivation practice?"
Freya shook her head, "No, she simply enjoys eating."
…Sure, so it wasn't that.
Vera Lee was also a member of the Crystal Leinster Club. Because she was often seen with Freya and due to Justin Welan, Jack Clark knew her.
Lately, whenever he saw the girl named Vera Lee, she was either eating or en route to eat something.
In less than half a month, her cute face had plumped considerably. Jack Clark had previously assumed she was searching for her optimal state like Freya, but it turned out she wasn't.
Wasn't she afraid of becoming chubby?
At that moment, the long-haired girl across from him suddenly asked, "By the way, Jack Clark, I heard you sparred with Sawyer Levin this morning. How did it go?"
"How did you know about that?" Jack Clark was surprised.
"This morning, some classmates saw you two crossing fists. It's been making the rounds in school. Vera Lee told me."
I see. Jack Clark humbly said, "We simply had a friendly spar, no victory or defeat."
No victory or defeat, basically meaning Sawyer Levin lost, right?
Freya nodded then chuckled softly, "Sawyer Levin probably targeted you because you declined the invitation to join the club, he's the class leader's staunch supporter."
"… Ah, so that's why." Jack Clark was speechless.
He had thought the morning spar was merely a friendly mutual practice between martial arts enthusiasts, not expecting this underlying reason.
Freya analyzed, "Since he lost to you this time, he probably won't bother you again in the future. I hope you don't take this to heart."
"Rest assured, I'm not one to fuss over such small matters," Jack Clark shook his head.action
He hadn't suffered any loss this time so naturally he wouldn't fret, though he didn't expect to be so irking to someone over such a trifling matter. Was this a trait of youth?
Or did he, Jack Clark, seem easy to pick on?
Jack Clark then casually chatted with Freya a bit longer, before burying his head back into his books.
"Explosive Claw Bear: Mutated from the brown bear, an average body length of six meters, tough, thick fur can resist small and medium-caliber firearm bullets and grenades, vulnerable parts include the brain and heart when attacked with high-power sniper rifles."
"Cheetiger: Mutated from the northern tiger, body length of seven meters, height of three meters, fur can protect from firearms, as swift as wind and fierce in nature, weakness is the abdomen."
"Dual-headed King Python: Mutated from the Glasses King Snake, body length of twenty meters, solid scales covering the body, can withstand rocket and grenade bombing…"

27 Chapter 27: Ranking
Translator: 549690339
At five o'clock in the afternoon, Jack Clark left the school with his shoulder bag.
However, he didn't go straight home, but planned to head to a pet market. The Iron Beetle that the shopkeeper had ordered for him had arrived.
As he walked, Jack thought about the problem of True Martial Compatibility that Freya Louise had mentioned earlier.
According to Freya, all cultivation methods alter the practitioner's physical attributes. Thus, the higher the level of the cultivation method, the greater the change it brings about.
Under such circumstances, if someone's physique is inherently compatible with a particular cultivation direction, not only will their cultivation speed be faster, but the power of their martial arts will also surge dramatically.
For instance, a few years ago, a student at South Sky Martial Height achieved a perfect match with the low-level martial arts they were cultivating. As a result, by their first year, they had broken through to the Third Layer Heaven and were invincible among students of the same grade, even against seniors who cultivated high-level True Martial arts.
Freya, however, cultivates a unique martial art that doesn't follow the conventional paths. Therefore, the requirement for her method's compatibility is spiritual realm rather than physique.
"Your Iron Beetles are here, and to avoid trouble if they died on the way, my friend actually caught two extra ones for you. So, consider it a 'buy one get two free' deal."
In Flower, Bird, Fish, and Insect Store, Jack Clark took a black beetle out of the box.
Unlike other beetles that can fly, in pursuit of defense, the Iron Beetle's exoskeleton-all over its back and even its entire body-evolves to merge into one seamless piece.
Despite being only two centimeters long, according to scientific data, this beetle can withstand more than 30,000 times its own weight.
Satisfied that the beetles were fine, a smile appeared on Jack's face. "Thanks, boss. I'll come find you again when I need something."
"Sure, feel free to drop by anytime." The boss was grinning ear to ear after accepting the money.
These beetles are commonplace in the Northern Continent, as easy to come by as ants. So, the boss had an easy time making a few hundred bucks just by making a phone call to a friend who sent them via express delivery.
Once back home, Jack didn't worry about the beetles starving to death as the box they were in contained some damp wood shavings. He just casually tossed the box into a drawer.
"Next, it's time for the Avatar to evolve." Jack then turned his attention to the side, where his six-legged salamander Avatar was lying quietly, its appearance becoming more and more formidable.
…
On Monday morning, as soon as Jack Clark stepped out of his house, he felt that something was off.
Patrol cars were frequently passing by on the street. Law enforcement officers were on duty at some intersections, and the cameras on light poles and roadblocks were also flashing from time to time.
"Did something happen?" Jack furrowed his brows.
In the classroom for cultural classes, Jack had just taken his seat when Justin Welan in front of him turned back to approach him.
"Hey, Jack, did you know? Jane Aiken from Class 1 has already condensed True Strength and broken through the Second Layer Heaven."
"…Impressive." Jack exclaimed.
Establishing the foundation within two days, reaching the First Layer Heaven Limit within a week, and breaking through to the Second Layer Heaven after a few more days-the astonishing speed of her breakthroughs was enough to make anyone feel powerless.
After all, the gap had gotten so large it felt hopeless.
You have to understand that more than half of our grade's freshmen haven't reached the Foundation Establishment yet.
Shaking his head, Jack dismissed the information and took out a textbook from his drawer to review. After all, they have a monthly exam on Friday.
No matter what, he had been the top student back in Forest Mount No.1 Middle School. It would be a shame if his grades dropped significantly right after entering high school.
Besides, other people's talents have nothing to do with him. Practicing martial arts earnestly should suffice for him, but…
"The freshman ranking."
In the afternoon, while in the cultivation room, Jack felt a bit bewildered upon hearing this news.
Why would anyone rank new students who had just started practicing martial arts? Could it be entertaining to watch a bunch of newbies duke it out?action
Justin Welan excitedly said, "It's said that the officials have allocated a lot of resources, aiming to nurture the new generation of cultivators, especially to accelerate the growth of those with outstanding talent."
"Not only our South Sky Martial Height in this city, but also the first-class universities of South Martial Height next door have made a new student ranking."
"Starting from the first day of next month, the top 50 will be determined on that day. Those on the list can earn an extra 5 contribution points each month."
5 Contribution Points, it's equivalent to everyone getting an extra five thousand bucks subsidy each month, it's a significant boost indeed, considering the large number of students in a school.
Even Jack Clark was a little moved when he heard this.
He only gets 3 points a month, not enough to exchange for a fraction of Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood at a normal price.
If he could use another portion of the Tyrant Elephant Essence Blood for cultivation, even if he could not break through the first layer of the martial art, he could still save one month of cultivation time.
Jack Clark raised an eyebrow, "No, it starts on the first day of next month. Doesn't that mean those who have just reached Foundation Establishment won't have a chance?"
During this period, many freshmen who worked hard for most of a month have just reached Foundation Establishment. If the competition takes place in a few days, many people may not have reached the threshold of the First Layer Heaven.
"Do you think it's a bit unfair?"
Justin Welan patted Jack Clark on the shoulder and sighed, "Jack, if this world were truly fair, there would be no distinction between talent and background."
"If everyone is the same, that's fair. But do you think that's possible?" Willard said, shrugging his shoulders.
Jack Clark was a little surprised, "I didn't expect that, Willard, you could say something so philosophical."
"Hehe, of course, I've always been philosophical, it's just that you haven't noticed." Justin replied smugly.
He was right, fairness doesn't really exist in this world. It's just that humans are thinking beings, who also live in groups, and have stepped into modern civilization.
Therefore, the society on the surface seems pretty equal.
But only on the surface; no matter the era or society, people always divide themselves into levels, which is an unchangeable fact.
After chatting a bit with Jack, Justin went off to cultivate diligently.
Not just him, learning that the school actually has a real student ranking, instead of the casual rankings on the official website, all the students were full of motivation.
Because after making the list, it's not just about resources, but also fame.
After all, they're teenagers. Who doesn't want to show off?
"Top 50, huh?" Jack Clark thought pensively.
According to the information Justin gathered, out of more than 1,900 freshmen, over seven hundred have successfully reached Foundation Establishment after nearly a month of hard cultivation.
Among the 48 classes, there are over 130 ordinary 'geniuses' who reached Foundation Establishment within a week, and more than 200 with average talent who reached Foundation Establishment within half a month.
That is to say, if Jack Clark wants to participate in the competition and aim for the Top 50, he will have to defeat at least eighty 'geniuses' who are cultivating advanced martial arts.
This doesn't even include those over 200 students who reached Foundation Establishment within half a month, who knows if there are 'geniuses' among them who would make a significant breakthrough.
"I wonder how strong those who are cultivating advanced martial arts are?" Jack Clark said, eyes slightly squinting.
Although he wanted to keep a low profile and develop slowly.
But when opportunities and resources appear before him, he should fight for them. At that time, it shouldn't be too difficult to rank in the 40s or 50s,right?
After all, people only remember the first place, nobody cares about the second place, let alone him at the bottom of the list.
Moreover, if he doesn't strive in the early stage of cultivation, once those geniuses obtain more resources, the gap in strength between them will grow larger. Finally, he may not even be able to see their shadow.
Of course, Jack Clark is just thinking about it for now.
Unless the second evolution of his Avatar in a few days greatly improves his strength, there's no need to participate because it will only result in him ranking at the bottom.

28 Chapter 28: The Upper Limit of Sixth-level Heaven
Translator: 549690339
""The difference between high and low-level martial arts."
On Tuesday morning, during the break between classes, Jack Clark and Justin Welan were chatting in the stairwell, and Jack brought up this topic.
Since Jack had decided to take part in the ranking competition, he wanted to learn about the basic information of his opponents first.
For example, the difference between high-level and low-level martial arts. Jack had searched for this information online, but strangely, he couldn't find any results. It seemed to be deliberately blocked by the official.
Justin thought for a moment: "The first difference is the upper limit. High-level martial arts can be cultivated to the Sixth-level Heaven, and low-level ones can only be cultivated to the Third Layer Heaven."
As soon as he finished speaking, Jack asked in confusion, "Can high-level martial arts only be cultivated to the Sixth-level Heaven? I thought the martial arts realm has nine levels?"
Jack had always thought that high-level martial arts could be cultivated to the Ninth Heavens.
Justin shook his head: "Of course, there are martial arts that can be cultivated to the Ninth Heavens, but they belong to top secret passes. Not only do they require a high level of talent but also are very precious."
"You have to understand that decades ago, there were no cultivation methods at all. Everyone explored on their own, and the world was in chaos for various reasons."
"Later, as more people traveled, roads were formed, and the prototype of cultivation methods gradually emerged. Then, the cultivation concepts, realms, and levels continued to be perfected."
"So although the Dragon Elephant Power you cultivated can only be practiced to the Third Layer Heaven, it was enough to make countless people fight for it in the early years."
"Moreover, the upper limit of low-level martial arts is only the Third Layer Heaven, but it doesn't mean you can't break through to the Fourth Layer. You just need to deduce the later martial arts on your own."
"I see." Jack nodded.
Justin continued, "Even now, it's only in the school that you can easily get complete cultivation methods. It's very difficult to practice outside."
"Although there are martial arts halls in big cities that accept disciples, the fees are outrageously high and the inheritance of cultivation methods is very limited. Most of the martial arts taught are low-level."
"For example, my high-level martial arts, if I were to learn it from one of the high-level martial arts halls, I would not even think about it without a hundred thousand tuition fees and would only be taught one level each time."
"A hundred thousand tuition fees and only one level can be learned, so you 'genius' students…" Jack blinked and suddenly saw a way to make a fortune.
It's important to know that at least a hundred students in the school have practiced high-level martial arts.
"I know what you're thinking, but I advise you not to think about it. Do you think the agreement you signed earlier was for what?" Justin rolled his eyes.
"Moreover, we freshmen can only learn the first three levels of high-level martial arts. The subsequent martial arts require the exchange of Contribution Points."
"In addition, each high-level martial arts has its own distinguishing features and is easily distinguishable, so no one would dare to divulge it privately. It's very easy to be found out."
"Once caught, the consequences are severe, so no one would take the risk for that little bit of money."action
"Moreover, tuition *fees of 100,000 for one level are legitimate learning fees, but they are not so valuable secretly. Both the buyer and the seller take great risks."
"As a result, wealthy people don't need to buy it. They can obtain it through other legitimate channels. Those with no money can't afford it"
Speaking of which, Justin shrugged: "And high-level martial arts are not as important as you might think. The real core of the Three Great Alliance Nations is resource monopoly, top-tier martial arts, and secret books."
Although the whole world has joined the United Federation, in fact, due to autonomy, it is more like a human camp alliance, rather loose inside.
Among them, the strongest three countries are the main ones, followed by more than ten medium-sized countries and dozens of small ones.
"Secret books." Jack revealed a puzzled look in his eyes.
Justin shook his head: "Don't ask me, I don't know what secret books are. I only heard my brother mention it once."
At this time, Justin suddenly said, "Jack, I heard that Sawyer Levin suffered a loss at your hands the other day. What do you think? Do you want to experience the power of high-level martial arts?"
"Practice with you?"
"Hehe, how about it? Are you scared?"
After lunch, Jack took a short rest and then found a classroom with Justin to practice. However, before they started, several onlookers arrived.
Seeing Jack's questioning gaze, Freya Louise smiled faintly, "Justin told us about it, asked us to cheer you on, just afraid he'll make you cry later.""Jack Clark was speechless. Did he look that vulnerable?
Moreover, it hadn't started yet. Who would win or lose was still unknown.
"Hehe, I'm just being cautious." Justin Welan across laughed.
The short-haired female student named Vera Lee clenched her fists and shouted to Jack Clark, "Go for it, Jack! Give Justin Welan a swollen head."
Crystal Leinster stood nearby with her arms crossed, alongside Sawyer Levin, who had practiced with Jack Clark a few days ago. They both seemed quite interested in the upcoming battle.
"Students, learn from each other and go easy. Let's get started."
Theclass leader spoke up, and the two stood five meters apart, their expressions suddenly serious. Their bodies slightly lowered, and a powerful aura enveloped them.
Justin Welan said solemnly, "Jack, the cultivation method I practice is called Mysterious Martial Thick Earth True Decision, known for its defense and strength. The strength I cultivate carries a rebound power, be careful."
Jack Clark took a deep breath and said in the same solemn tone, "Come on."
Justin Welan stepped hard on the ground, like a giant turtle turning over, shaking the ground slightly. Emitting a heavy aura, he charged towards Jack at a much slower speed than Sawyer Levin.
But his aura was even more majestic and domineering. When he reached Jack, he pushed forward with both palms.
Jack activated his Dragon Elephant Power, and in an instant, his whole body's muscles swelled, exuding a fierce aura. He countered with both palms without showing weakness.
Bang bang!
Their four palms collided, and the compressed air exploded with a muffled sound.
Soon, Jack's face changed slightly as a thick rebound force came from the other side, causing him to involuntarily take half a step back. He became even more excited and shouted.
"Again!"
Roar! Accompanied by a faint roar of an elephant, Jack's muscles swelled even more. His bones crackled, and a more ferocious power burst forth.
Bang bang!!
The two exchanged punches and palm strikes again, producing muffled explosions. Powerful forces scattered throughout their bodies, causing the ground beneath them to shake slightly.
"Continue," Justin Welan also got excited, his aura became heavier and thicker, like a spiky-armored Mysterious Martial tortoise relentlessly attacking.
Jack, on the other hand, was like a ferocious giant elephant. The two were like two newborn giant beasts wrestling, making the cultivation room full of muffled sounds of heavy object collisions.
Under their tremendous power, their movements created raging winds with awe-inspiring momentum.
But Jack was soon at a disadvantage.
Because his overall strength was indeed weaker than Justin Welan's, this gap came from various aspects.
Dragon Elephant Power mainly cultivated strength. When Jack broke through the first layer, his enhancement was about one-fold, and there was a certain increase in defense.
As for Justin's Mysterious Martial Thick Earth True Decision, Jack felt it enhanced Welan's strength by about 1.5 times, and the high-level skill made the resulting power more cohesive and substantial.
In addition, its defense was not weaker, besides the strange rebound force that always reflected a portion of Jack's strength back, making him very uncomfortable.
Moreover, Jack's foundational strength was also weaker than Justin Welan's, so he was under pressure in various aspects.
However, as the two continued to fight, Jack's proficiency in using Dragon Elephant Power increased, and many previously unclear techniques became more fluid.
Combined with the more sensitive perception after cultivating the Inner Eye, he often managed to block Justin Welan's attacks and counterattack at critical moments, making him flustered and barely maintaining an undefeated record.
At this time, Freya Louise and the others were also watching very seriously.
They thought about how they would defend against such attacks and how to counterattack, summarizing their experiences.
Without using weapons, the gap between First Layer Heaven freshmans was not big. It was just that because of the characteristics of their cultivation methods, some people had greater strength and some had faster speed.

29 Chapter 29: Cultist
Translator: 549690339
Bang!
Jack Clark and Justin Welan unleashed a full-force strike, their fists and palms colliding with a muffled explosive sound. Both were sent staggering back several steps by the powerful counterforce.
"Stop, no more fighting."
A heavily sweating Justin Welan gasped for air and waved his hand to signal a halt to the fight.
Seeing this, Jack also stopped and took a long breath.
At this moment, both of their bodies were soaked with sweat, their skin flushed red, and they radiated intense heat, a sign of Qi Blood seething within them.
After steadying their inner breath, Justin complained, "Jack, we were just having a friendly spar, you really didn't need to go all out."
At first, both were restrained and held back their full strength in their exchanges. However, as the battle intensified and their blood boiled, Jack's strikes became heavier.
Faced with this situation, Justin naturally didn't hold back, and the two of them exchanged increasingly fierce blows.
Jack touched his slightly swollen left cheek and smiled, "Well, isn't this just a fair competition? I got carried away. Besides, I got hit by over ten more punches than you did, so I'm actually at a disadvantage."
"You really think we can count it like that? Look at my face." Justin pointed at his swollen eyes, defiant.
Although Jack had been hit by more punches, they mostly landed on his back or shoulder; with only one on his face, he was much better off than Justin.
At this point, not only Justin but also Freya Louise and the others on the sidelines did not expect the fight to be so brutal.
Freya came up to Jack and looked at his cheek with curiosity, "Jack, does it hurt?"
"What do you think? You want to try?" Jack's gaze fell upon her pure and pretty face, feeling slightly tempted.
Such a beautiful face – one punch would probably make her cry for a long time.
Freya quickly shook her head, "No."
"Hey, Justin, your arm is swollen." Vera Lee poked Justin's left arm with her finger, causing him to grimace in pain and quickly dodge.
"Don't touch, it hurts!"
Crystal Leinster came over with a small bottle in her hand, "I have a bottle of Special Ointment here that can quickly reduce swelling and improve blood circulation. You two take it and apply it on each other."
"Thanks, Class Leader." Justin took the ointment without hesitation and went with Jack to the changing room to apply it.
As they watched the two leave, Vera Lee playfully stuck her tongue out, "I never thought that Jack, who seems so gentle and cultured, would fight so crazily."
Sawyer Levin, who had been silent, nodded, "Yeah, Justin really had it rough."
Despite Jack being at a disadvantage, and being hit more often, for some reason, everyone felt that Justin was the one who had a harder time.
At this moment, Sawyer felt somewhat relieved that he had chosen to give up when he was pushed back by a punch a few days ago.
Otherwise, he might have ended up like Justin, and who knows what the rest of the class would have thought of him.
Crystal suddenly asked, "What do you think? If I invite Jack to join our club again, will he refuse?"
Vera blinked her big eyes, puzzled, "Class Leader, why would you invite him again?"
The other two were also surprised.
As high school students, all of them cared about face; logically, after being refused once, Crystal should not have thought of inviting him again.
Crystal slowly said, "Because he has great courage and strong fighting instincts. If he joins our club, he would be a good teammate."
The others just saw how intense the fight was, but she saw more.
For example, Jack's fearlessness in the face of adversity and how his fighting style became even more ferocious amidst the calm. Also, his instincts to exchange injuries while avoiding vital points during the fight.
People like him were born to be warriors, with an unwavering will.
Freya spoke softly, "I think he would still refuse."
"Alright, let's pretend I never mentioned it."
……
"Hiss! Jack, be gentle."
In the changing room, Jack applied the ointment to Justin's shoulder. Any slight pressure on it would make him squeal like a pig, which left Jack speechless.
"Why are you such a big man, yet so afraid of pain? Look at me, I'm not afraid at all." Saying that, Jack applied the ointment to his own chest without a care.
"Nonsense, I chose the Mysterious Martial Thick Earth Formula because I'm afraid of pain."
"Besides, don't lie to me. When you were applying it to yourself, you were much gentler. When you applied it to me, you used a lot more force." Justin rolled his eyes.
"How could that be? Am I that kind of person?" Jack smiled and put down the empty ointment bottle.
After applying the ointment, the two moved their bodies around. Their Qi Blood indeed flowed more smoothly than before, and the swelling quickly subsided.
Jack asked, "Mr. Willard, what's your current arm strength?"
Justin didn't hide it and replied, "190 kg, and the strengthening of the first layer of the Mysterious Martial Thick Earth Formula is one and a half times."
"I see." Jack nodded.
His own arm strength was just over 150 kg. Considering the difference in their Cultivation Methods, it was only natural that Justin would be able to suppress him completely.
With this calculation, the strength of those who practiced Advanced Skills should be around the same as Justin's. It would be a bit difficult for Jack to beat them. He pondered.
Exchanging injuries could only be considered a last resort.
Moreover, if the overall attributes were suppressed, as long as the opponent was cunning enough, Jack would actually come out worse in an exchange of injuries.
"It was painful today, but it felt good. Especially you, Jack. I didn't expect your strength to improve so much that we could actually keep up with each other in battle." Justin rubbed his eyes as he spoke.
"No, you were much better, Mr. Willard." Jack said, trying to flatter him.
Justin was speechless, "If I were better, I wouldn't have ended up like this."
"Isn't it because you let me do that?" Jack laughed.
"You think I would believe that?" Justin rolled his eyes.
At this point, Jack suddenly asked, "Mr. Willard, do you know what's been going on the past few days? I see law enforcement officers everywhere on the street."
Yesterday and today, the streets were filled with law enforcement, which made Jack curious about what had happened.
As for why he asked Justin, it was because Justin had well-connected sources of information.
"No big deal. I heard that two Evil God Sect Cultists appeared, and they are now being tracked down and investigated."
"Cultists? Those who caused chaos in Koroya?" Jack's face turned serious.
Noticing his solemn expression, Justin reassured him, "Don't worry, Jack. It's not the small country of Koroya here. No matter how many of those guys come, they will die."
"Although we don't see many cultivators in society, there are many experts in our city, especially among our school's teachers."
"However, it might be a little dangerous these days, so don't wander around at night if you don't have to." Finally, Justin reminded him once more.
At five in the afternoon, Jack left the school after the swelling in his face subsided. On the way, he took out his mobile phone and searched for news about Koroya.
He discovered that it had been half a month since the situation in Koroya had become more and more serious.action
Almost half of Koroya was showing signs of rebellion led by cultivators, and besides that, there were also some Evil God Sect Cultists mixed in among them.
These so-called Evil God Sects were dangerous elements that had emerged in recent years, mostly appearing in small backward countries in the South. They often caused chaos.
Therefore, every time they appeared, they would be quickly eradicated by the local official forces.

30 Chapter 30: The Second Evolution
Translator: 549690339
When Jack returned home, Glenn had already cleaned a plate of fish meat.
"Bro, the Mutated Beast you're raising is eating more than me, and it's getting bigger and bigger. Won't it eat up our house at this rate?" Glenn was worried.
He felt that their diet had been getting worse lately, and it should all be because of the Mutated Beast his brother was raising.
In the past, he could eat his fill of meat every day, but since more than half a month ago, although there was still meat every day, it seemed to run out after just a few bites, leaving only vegetables on the plate.
During this time, he could only eat a little more when he cooked for himself, which was one of the reasons he actively went home to cook every day.
Thinking of this, Glenn, for the sake of his own stomach, suggested, "Bro, why don't we eat the Mutated Beast? I heard its meat is very nourishing."
Jack glanced at him with a strange look, "This suggestion sounds good. What flavor do you think would be delicious?"
Glenn's eyes lit up, thinking it was a possibility, and excitedly suggested, "Bro, I think barbecue flavor and garlic flavor would be more fragrant, and of course, spicy flavor would work too."
"Bro, wait a minute, I'll get a knife." Glenn excitedly ran back to the kitchen, picked up the cleaver, and was about to go upstairs to kill the Six-legged Salamander.
Jack said irritably, "You really thought I was serious? Put the knife down."
"Ah? Bro, we're not eating it?" Glenn was disappointed.
Jack waved his hand, "All you think about is food. This is the Mutated Beast I raised myself."
"But your concern is not unreasonable. This Mutated Beast's appetite has been increasing lately. I plan to release it in a few days."
"…Let it go." Glenn suddenly felt it was such a waste.
What a waste, that's Mutated Beast meat…
"Alright, don't be upset."
Jack patted his shoulder, "You're still young and don't understand some things. Just listen to me, go cook our dinner."
"Alright."
Although Glenn didn't know why his brother wanted to release the beast, his trust in him since childhood kept him from overthinking it.
Not caring about Glenn's tangled thoughts, Jack took the plate of fish meat to the second floor.
In the room, the Six-legged Salamander that had grown to sixty-eight centimeters in length lay on the floor, looking more and more majestic, especially with the three pairs of red feather horns on both sides.
Whether it was because it had evolved or simply grown, the Six-legged Salamander's vision had improved significantly.
Through the Salamander's low-angle view, Jack could clearly see his own appearance and the room's furnishings, although everything appeared enormous and oppressive.
After making sure his Avatar was full and satisfied, Jack cultivated once more before going to bed.
…
The next day, on the way to school, there were still enforcers around. It seemed that the two cultists hadn't been caught yet. Jack thought about it.
As soon as he entered the classroom, he found it much busier than usual. Everyone was discussing the upcoming ranking competition.
A few students who had just established their Foundation were complaining about the unfairness. They had only just entered the First Layer Heaven a few days ago, while many classmates had been cultivating for half a month.
In such a situation, they would be far behind in terms of basic physique and skill mastery, with no hope of standing out.
Compared to them, those who had broken through half a month ago were excited, rubbing their hands with anticipation, believing that this was their chance to become famous at school.
With everyone at the First Layer Heaven, they felt that if they tried their best, they might have a chance to make it into the Top 50.
As for those who had not yet established their Foundation, they could only watch enviously.
"I think Class Leader Crystal should have no problem making it into the top ten this time."
"You're underestimating Class Leader. I think she has a chance to make it into the top five. Yesterday afternoon at the sparring training, Class Leader defeated Bryant and two others in a joint clash."
"Yeah, I think Class Leader has the strength to make it into the top five. Her sword skills are amazing."
Many classmates gathered around Crystal, who sat in the front row, admiring her for overpowering three classmates in a joint effort during yesterday afternoon's training.
After Jack's and Justin's battle yesterday afternoon, Crystal and the others had also noticed the issue of actual combat experience.
So yesterday afternoon, she called all the Foundation Establishment students in the class together in her capacity as Class Leader.
She claimed that it was to improve the overall strength of the class so that they could achieve good results in the upcoming ranking competition and organized the actual combat training.
Most people had no objection to this suggestion, and they had all been itching to test their skills. So, the sparring during their afternoon training was lively.
"I think Matt has a chance to make it into the top ten this time. He's a genius who reached Foundation Establishment in just three or four days, like Crystal."
"That's right, Matt is very strong too. In yesterday's training, Justin was easily defeated by him. He's definitely making it onto the list."action
"Haha… You guys flatter me. My strength is actually average. Yesterday, I only won by a lucky chance."
"And besides, we're all still students, so the priority is friendship. It doesn't really matter how we rank. As long as we learn from each other and make progress, that's enough."
Jack sat down in his seat and looked at Justin in front of him with a puzzled expression, "What happened? You even got beaten by the class council member yesterday?"
Justin felt wronged, "I wasn't beaten, we just sparred a bit, and besides, I hadn't fully recovered from my injuries after fighting you, so I just lost a couple of moves."
"Really?" Jack felt that he was just being stubborn.
After fighting Justin yesterday, Jack had found a Personal Cultivation Room to focus on cultivating the Dragon Elephant Power, so he hadn't participated in the training.
At this time, Jack asked curiously, "Justin, what do you think about Matt and Crystal's strength?"
Justin hesitated for a moment, "…Very strong. I haven't practiced with Crystal, but I don't think I'm her match. Her aggressive and fierce swordsmanship particularly counters mine."
"As for Matt, he's just a little bit stronger than me."
"I understand." Jack nodded slightly in agreement.
Although Justin spoke insincerely, these early breakthrough Foundation Establishment geniuses were indeed very strong, able to suppress students like him who also cultivate Advanced Skills.
Wuwuwu! At this time, a whimpering sound came from the front.
Justin quickly turned back to console, "Ah Yue, it's okay. Even if you can't cultivate True Martial Arts, you can still go to a prestigious university."
"Look, General Emma Louise isn't any different. She didn't practice True Martial Arts either, but now at only thirty years old, she has become a Federation Major General. Let me tell you…"
Not only was it the girl who sat in front of Justin.
While the excited Martial Cultivation students were discussing the ranking competition, the emotions of the classmates who were still at the Sixth and Seventh Stages after nearly a month of cultivation were quite low.
Jack saw this but could do nothing. Talent wouldn't change because you were unhappy with it.
Moreover, they were already lucky. They had the opportunity to systematically learn True Martial Arts in high school.
In some allied countries, information about True Martial Arts and cultivation resources were controlled by the upper class, and ordinary people had no chance to access them. This was also the reason why these small countries had become more chaotic in recent years.
After all, not everyone is content to be at the bottom for a lifetime.
At four o'clock, with the sound of the school bell, Jack slowly opened his eyes and prepared to go home.
For the first time since he started cultivating True Martial Arts, he left school this early to go home. The reason was very simple – his Avatar was about to begin its second evolution.

31 Chapter 31: Heavy Armored Beast

When Jack Clark returned home, Glenn Clark hadn't finished school yet.
Throwing the backpack on the sofa, he went up to the second floor.
In the room, the Six-legged Salamander, which had grown to 70 centimeters after eating once in the morning, lay on the floor. Its black bean-like eyes quietly watched Jack Clark.
With anticipation, Jack took a box from the drawer, picked one of the three Iron Beetles, and put it into the mouth of the Six-legged Salamander.
"Begin."
Boom!
Accompanied by Jack's confirmation, the evolution energy within the Six-legged Salamander, which had already reached the requirements for evolution, erupted like a flood.
That was the energy of evolution that had been accumulating in its body. As it passed through, the salamander's whole body cells crazily split, compressed, and became stronger.
Moreover, deep inside the Avatar's body, the originally fixed Genetic Sequence began to evolve in a stronger and more perfect direction after absorbing the Iron Beetle.
Crack crack!
On the Avatar's smooth and tough surface, layers of blackish chitinous bones grew like scales at a visible speed.
At the same time, a heat flow appeared out of nowhere inside Jack's body.
However, compared to the weak feeling of the first time, this time's evolution energy increased by more than ten times, and the strength of muscles and bones skyrocketed at a terrifying speed.
This kind of enhancement was holistic. His whole body cells constantly divided, compressed and became more explosive, just like the Avatar's, and the internal organs became stronger…
This evolution lasted for almost an hour.
Phew!action
Jack exhaled and opened his eyes. His clear black and white pupils looked as bright and radiant as a black gem, and a faint oppressive feeling radiated from them.
Feeling the surging power in his body, Jack showed a smile because this improvement exceeded his expectations.
With excitement, Jack called up the attribute page with a thought.
Level: First Layer Heaven
Physique: 58
Strength: 60
Agility: 52
Spirit: 55
Talent: Soul Split
Cultivation Methods: Lotus Platform Meditation Method [Perfect, Dragon Elephant Power [First Layer, Heart's Eye Bright Knife [Sword Skill First Layer, Heart's Eye?]
Avatar: Hexagonal Armored Beast
Level: Low-level Unique Beast [Evolved twice Extraordinary Creature, adult body length limit 3 meters]
Talent: Strength [Powerful muscles and bones that can unleash a hundred times their own power]
Defense [Special body surface structure, steel hardness armor with a hundred times its volume and pressure defense, note, the defense decreases in weak areas of the armor]
Evolution value: 0/300
"All four major attributes have increased by 30 points, which means a three-fold enhancement of ordinary human physique. A single attribute has even surpassed the First Layer Heaven Limit."
Jack's gaze swept over the changes in his attributes, and then his attention shifted to the Avatar's data below.
The Avatar's name became Hexagonal Armored Beast, which had nothing to do with the salamander anymore. Its level was at the Low-level Unique Beast, and the body size growth limit was 3 meters.
However, these were not important. The Defensive Talent below caught Jack's eye.
"As I expected, I have gained another talent." A smile appeared on Jack Clark's face.
With a hundred-fold increase in defensive power and the ability to burst out a hundred-fold power with his talent, his avatar would be safe as long as he was careful.
After checking the details of the attribute changes, Jack closed the attribute page and looked at the Heavy Armored Beast avatar on the ground.
Its body length was still seventy centimeters, the same as when it first evolved, but its density and weight had increased several times, and it was even thicker horizontally.
Its entire body was covered in black exoskeleton armor, including its abdomen, especially the back, which looked like a piece of armor stitched together.
Even the dorsal fin that runs from its head to its tail became blunt and thick, including the tail that occupied half its body covered in black ringed armor.
After evolution, its limbs became stronger and more powerful, and were also covered in smaller scale armor, with claws as sharp as small daggers.
Its once wide head was now covered in a black exoskeleton, with protruding eyebrow bones protecting its eyes, as if it were wearing a helmet.
Apart from that, its upper and lower jawbones became even more protruding, revealing two rows of sharp teeth and even four sharp canine teeth.
The two sides of its head extended outward like tiny wings, with the three pairs of feather horns becoming completely hardened, their colors becoming even more vivid red, giving it a somewhat ferocious appearance.
At this point, the Heavy Armored Beast avatar looked like a completely fierce and mutated beast. It was hard to imagine that it was originally a Six-legged Salamander no bigger than a palm.
At that moment, the sound of the front door opening came from downstairs.
Glenn Clark saw the backpack on the sofa and shouted at Jack upstairs, "Bro, you're back."
Jack replied from upstairs, "Mm, I had to leave early today. You go and cook, and I will go out for a bit."
"Oh."
After dealing with Glenn with a casual remark, Jack rummaged through the wardrobe to find a double shoulder backpack and then, using his consciousness, he carefully guided the Heavy Armored Beast to crawl inside.
Once the Heavy Armored Beast was curled up, Jack pulled up the zipper and lifted it by the strap. He immediately felt the weight in his hand and the sound the strap made under the heavy burden.
By his estimate, the Heavy Armored Beast weighed at least eighty kilograms, an astonishing weight.
However, this weight was nothing to him, who had an average physique five times that of an ordinary person.
Jack carefully carried the backpack outside, avoiding any damage to it from the Heavy Armored Beast, and walked to the riverside hundreds of meters away under the sunlight.
Ordinarily, releasing a mutated beast like this should be done in secret during the night, which suited the atmosphere.
Then, when coming back in the night, he would encounter some accidents, and something else would happen, like playing the hero saving a damsel, fitting the plot better.
As his thoughts ran wild, Jack soon reached the riverside and followed the riverbank downwards.
After checking his surroundings and seeing that no one was around, he put down his backpack, unzipped it, and the black unique beast slipped into the river through the weeds.
Gurgle! A few bubbles burst out, and the Heavy Armored Beast swam along the riverbed.
Suddenly, another underwater scene appeared in Jack's eyes.
From the Heavy Armored Beast's perspective, the surrounding vision became blurry, and with the help of sunlight, it could see clearly within a range of about ten meters in the two-meter deep water.
Here, the weeds swayed, small fishes swam, and suddenly a large fish weighing several pounds appeared, scaring the small fishes into a frenzy.
Just as the fish swam past the Heavy Armored Beast, it was suddenly bitten in half by the Heavy Armored Beast's powerful jaws with a crunch.
Chewing on the fish meat, the Heavy Armored Beast, controlled by Jack's consciousness, swam along the small river towards the main stream, tens of miles away.
Only deep water would have big fish, and a wide river would have abundant resources. It was now ready to kill and eat until it was full.
At that moment, the Heavy Armored Beast felt a faint sense of excitement, as if it were experiencing the freedom of the sky and the vastness of the sea. It had been kept in the room for too long.
Not only was the space too small, but also the food was insufficient.
If there had been enough food, the Heavy Armored Beast's avatar could have evolved ten days earlier. However, due to Jack's limited resources, the night time was basically wasted.

32 Chapter 32: Can Only Help So Much
Translator: 549690339
After his Avatar entered the river, Jack Clark turned around to leave. Yet, due to the distraction of controlling the Heavy Armored Beast swimming around, he seemed a little distracted along the way.
It was the same during dinner in the evening.
Seeing Jack Clark who kept halting his meal, Doris Raven, sitting opposite him, expressed her concern, "Jack, are you okay?"
"Ah, yeah, I'm fine.," Jack replied, snapping back to his senses.
Just earlier, the Heavy Armored Beast had encountered a one-meter-long Big Green Fish at the riverbed. Without giving it another thought, Jack pounced it, flipping over the larger green fish swiftly.
Despite the considerable size difference, the Heavy Armored Beast simply trapped the Green Fish underneath its claw. Its immense strength made the fish completely immobile at the riverbed.
After this evolution, the Avatar's talent for a hundredfold increase in strength was fully unleashed. Now, a single claw can exert a force of over a thousand kilograms, which is terrifyingly formidable.
And this was only because it was only seventy centimeters long at this stage, still in its juvenile phase.
Once the Heavy Armored Beast grows to three meters and weighs hundreds or even thousands of kilograms, its strength at the same size will reach a horrifying level.
After dinner, Jack went upstairs to practice under the pretext of cultivation, while continuing to control the Heavy Armored Beast swimming.
Approximately after an hour, they finally arrived at the mouth of the river, dozens of miles away.
With the river water surging under the ivy-covered riverbank, a menacing black head protruded from the water.
Jack looked around through his Avatar, there were no buildings nearby and the river dyke behind him was desolate with only scattered street lamps along the riverside road.
The yellow earth bank here was several meters above the water level, suitable for burrowing and creating a cave.
Although the Six-legged Salamander was amphibious and could stay in the water for an extended period, Jack believed that a nest on the bank would be safer.
Under Jack's control, the Heavy Armored Beast dug out an underwater cave entrance with its double claws, and then expanded it, digging upward.
Soon, a dark hole was dug, which was several meters deep and turned upward in twists. The deepest part occupied an area of two square meters.
Then, Jack dug out another small vent above the entrance to the cave.
Phew!
In the room, Jack exhaled and slowly opened his eyes.
Controlling the Avatar in the wilderness was different from inside the house. Jack had to keep his attention diverted to avoid accidents caused by a delayed response to the Heavy Armored Beast.
Even if it didn't affect him, the loss would still be considerable.
After all, as long as the Heavy Armored Beast continued to evolve, it would not only become a powerful force, but each evolution would also bring a massive improvement to his strength.
So, it was only after burrowing a cave for hiding that Jack was able to withdraw most of his mental focus, preparing to start the night's cultivation task.
However, Jack barely started cultivating when he felt something different.
As a much thicker amount of his Qi Blood circulated through his body, the free extraordinary energy around was attracted and then refined inside his body by his spirit power.
This was happening both in terms of circulation speed of his Qi Blood and the amount of extraordinary energy absorbed. Since both rates had doubled, the overall cultivation speed was increased by twofold.
He felt that the Dragon Elephant Power, which he had initially anticipated to take four months to break through to the First Layer, could now possibly achieve that breakthrough in just over a month.
This change took Jack by surprise, and then he began cultivating even harder.
As his Qi Blood kept circulating, refining the free energy between heaven and earth, Jack's muscles, tendons, and fascia were being continually strengthened, getting more sturdy each time they circulated.
Of course, this strengthening was a slow process.
……
In the morning, just as he left his house, his younger brother Glenn Clark came up to him and compared their heights before exclaiming in surprise, "Brother, have you grown taller again?"action
Just a month ago, Jack was only 1.7 meters short compared to the 1.75 meters tall Glenn, who has been that height since he was thirteen.
During this period, Jack had unintentionally grown as tall as Glenn due to the continuous strengthening of his physique and his cultivation. Not only had his height increased, the once thin body had also become more robust. This robustness was not the fierce strength Glenn possessed, but a harmonious symmetry.
The upper body was slightly muscular, his shirt being strained in the process. His trousers straight, combined with a tall and straight posture, gave him an aura of radiant vitality.
"I've been growing recently," Jack Clark responded casually.
Both brothers were headed to school. Just as they reached the crossroads that led to the city area, a girl walked over from the side. She waved at Jack upon seeing him.
The girl had a slim and elegant figure, her waterfall-like black hair was tied back with a white butterfly knot. With a pure and beautiful face, she appeared as a striking sight wherever she stood.
Glenn exclaimed in surprise, "Bro, she seems to be waving at you."
"Yes, she's my classmate," Jack nodded as he smiled slightly at Freya passing by.
At this point, the green light for pedestrians came on and Jack, followed by Glenn, turned towards her, "It's not often we meet, shall we walk together?"
"Sure," Freya nodded gently.
Glenn moved closer and said naively, "You're so beautiful, you're just like a fairy from the costume dramas."
"I'm sorry, this is my little brother, Glenn." Jack was a bit embarrassed.
Freya suppressed a giggle, "No worries, your brother is so adorable."
As the three of them walked forward, Glenn sped up to reach Freya's other side, curiously asking, "Are you and my brother close?"
Freya paused, "…We're just classmates."
"Oh, here I was thinking you and my brother were good friends," Glenn seemed a bit disappointed.
"Friends…probably…I guess." Freya mentioned, her gaze moving towards Jack, blinking.
Jack smiled, replying, "Of course, we are."
Thinking about it, they've known each other for quite a while. They've been getting along pretty well since their days of learning the Body Casting Skill. Basically, their relationship was not any different than that of friends.
At this point, Glenn noticed a few of his friends up ahead. He waved his hand to Jack, "Bro, pretty sister, I have to go first."
As he ran off to join his friends, Glenn gave Jack a meaningful wink which seemed to suggest, 'Bro, I've done all I could.'
Jack was left speechless.
After Glenn left, Jack and Freya walked towards school side by side, casually discussing their cultivation experiences.
Upon entering the school gate, they bumped into their classmate, Vera. Her eyes widened in surprise as if she had just seen something extraordinary.
In the classroom, Jack had just sat down when Justin Welan, who was sitting in front of them, turned around to talk to him. A surprised whisper followed, "Jack, why does it feel like you've grown stronger?"
Jack glanced at him, "What do you mean stronger?"
Justin looked puzzled, "Strange, be honest, have you used any cultivation resources after you got home yesterday?"
"Do you really think I, who can't even afford the resources for replenishing Qi Blood during Foundation Establishment, can afford cultivation resources?" Jack was speechless.
"That seems reasonable but…" Justin's confusion deepened.
He had just fought with Jack a few days ago, so he was quite sensitive to the changes in Jack's aura.
As soon as Jack sat down today, Justin sensed a faint threat from him. It was still the same person, but for some reason, there was an inexplicable sense of oppression.
But how could Jack pose a threat to him?
He knew Jack's talent very well. Jack might have a promising future because of his steady personality, but Justin didn't believe Jack could suddenly have a breakthrough and surpass him.
They were just First Layer Heaven, still in the realm of physical cultivation, not even at the stage of Sixth-level Heaven, where enlightenment mattered most. How could his strength suddenly skyrocket?
"Could I be wrong?" Justin scratched his head.
