A world of Pokémon separate from the one we are familiar with, one that defies the laws of nature. A world of darkness, fear, and sorcery. Yet, a light of hope remains. 1. Introduction

Unaffiliated Note: Hi guys, sorry for being absent for a year and randomly coming back with a new story. Unfortunately, I was unable to access fanfiction due to computer issues, and have cycled through a lot of computers and jumped a few hurdles to just get back on the site. Unfortunately, I most likely won't be continuing my other stories due to logistics and the problem that I wasn't around for a very long time. So I went ahead with the opportunity to start a new SYOC story.

Story introduction:

The world of Pokémon, a very familiar world. People and Pokémon coexist with each other, some as friends, others as partners. Some people train Pokémon and work together to conduct Pokémon battles. But you know all this.

What if I told you that there are other worlds out there? And I'm not talking about basic parallel universes where Pokémon train humans or the World Champion is Cynthia and not Ash. I'm talking about a world where the rules are completely different.

This is a world where the laws of nature don't apply, a world you could only imagine. A special few hold power that few could ever stand to achieve, a world of darkness, of sorcery, of Legends.

Chosen by the gods of Pokémon, twelve heroes must utilize their sacred power to put a stop to the many evils of this world. WIll they be able to band together and triumph over those that seek to rule, or will they crumble and fall to ruin, mere myths among society?
