A/N: I don't have much to say, except Sonic X Shadow Generations is officially out now!

And apparently I did get reviews for Day 20, but there was a glitch on the site and I never got any emails for them, nor did I see them show up on the site itself until today. Sorry about that, guys! As a result, the review section is actually longer than the prompt itself for the first time! XD

Without further ado, let's move on to the reviews and what matters most: the prompt!

DAY 19 REVIEWS

Super duper waffles

Yeah, I saw the same bot comment on your story earlier when I was checking the reviews. I don't know if they're anything like the Discord scams that attempt to take your money and run, but I'm not taking any chances. As of now I've already gotten 19 DM's from the bots.

thor94

Sadly yes, but the Thorndykes have a ton of money so they could easily buy another one.

DAY 20 REVIEWS

Super duper waffles

1. Not really, Eggman hasn't cared much to look back through Earth's history and its historical figures, although he does admire Thomas Edison's persistence and dedication when it came to inventing the light bulb.

2a. GUN fun fact: GUN allowed Rouge to skip training for the most part when they first recruited her because they had observed how skilled she was when it came to fending for herself and sneaking around. In GUN's entire history, every single recruit had to go through rigorous training, but Rouge is the only exception.

2b. Station Square fun fact: Station Square is one of the United States's leading manufacturers of aircraft parts, and Tails got to tour one such factory. He loved every second of it.

2c. Superior fun fact: The west side of Superior is surrounded by a tall wall to protect it from intense waves and lake-effect snow. Plus, since Lake Superior is so cold during the winter months, there are several generators that run 24/7 to keep the facility warm. As a result, there is an almost constant hum at all times.

2d. Remerson fun fact: It's already been established in Chaos on Earth that President Remerson grew up reading superhero comics, and he still reads them to this day in his spare time, not just for nostalgia, but to see how other superheroes handled difficult situations and get fresh ideas, since he has been stressed out from the uncertainty of the neverending conflict against Eggman.

3. Sanic is canon in CoE, and so is the Sunky meme.

4a. The first group was known as Down With Mobius, and they initially started as a hate group on the internet shortly after the time Sonic started to get popular (after chapter 13). The three founders were from Philadelphia, Bowling Green, and just outside of Orlando. They eventually evolved into something more, and the more the prompted their cause, the more support and members they got. Eventually they launched a massive cyberattack on SSTV to cover up any broadcasting of Sonic news, as well as DDOS'ed Thorndyke Mansion and remotely hacked into Tails' Miles Electric. However, they severely underestimated Tails' genius skills, and he had the house and his tablet back up and running in less than thirty minutes. Furthermore, he used the attack to his advantage and helped the authorities to identify and arrest the founders of Down With Mobius.

4b. The second group was a group of six people headquartered in Station Square itself, but they didn't have an official name other than Stop Alien Funding. Before the events of episode 23 (chapter 20), they attempted to hold hostages in an attempt to get Sonic to stand down and to stop the government from prioritizing the Mobians over the taxpayers. However, it backfired horribly, and they were arrested after a five-hour standoff with the police. It took GUN showing up to get them to surrender, but fortunately, GUN didn't have to do anything.

4c. The third group was founded from the remaining remnants of Down With Mobius many months after the original founders were arrested, and they named themselves the questionably creative title of CINOS. It would be seen as Sonic spelled backwards, but it was actually an acronym for Cease the Invasion from Neutralizing Our Society. They had members all around the globe, but the core four members operated out of Oklahoma City. It was more successful than its predecessor, since they were able to use cyberattacks to weaken the electric grid around the GUN bases, as well as repeatedly cut off the power for just the Thorndyke's home. They even sought inspiration from Stop Alien Funding and kidnapped people who publicly and financially supported Sonic as ransom for the government to stop funding Sonic's livelihood. The core members were identified and arrested by GUN Division Gamma, and the group fizzled out, although there are still a few remnants here and there. They tried to reform, but it was unsuccessful. Overall, they were the most successful group before the Society, and the Organizer learned from their mistakes which was how the Society became so successful and effective.

I agree, writing comfort scenes is one of my strong points!

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever seen any Sonic character with a tattoo before, even in fanart. But there's a first time for everything!

I couldn't have a writing prompt challenge in October without at least one Halloween-themed prompt! :D

Unless someone came to rescue Chris in time (probably GUN or someone else), I like to imagine that the curse was indeed broken, and it ended up not being as bad as everyone thought. Maybe Chris was released but everyone else stayed in the paintings until GUN rescued them.

CreativeKitty975

I do love my cliffhangers though! XD

I gave a possible ending idea in my above reply to thor94 who asked a similar question.

Day Twenty-Two: Bleeding Through Bandages
Prompts: Bleeding Through Bandages; "Oh, that's not good"

"Chris! Get down!"

Even though Chris heard Sonic's warning shout to him, everything seemed to move in slow motion. He could see Metal Sonic flying straight at him with vengeance in his LED eyes, and he was already out of time. Thinking fast, he threw the Chaos Emerald in his hand in a random direction right as Metal struck.

Chris was sent to the ground, and a searing pain ripped through his right arm. He yelled out in pain, before quickly holding his breath as tears sprang into his eyes. Metal had gouged part of his arm while trying to grab the Emerald from him, and Sonic, Tails, and Amy could only stare in shock.

Fortunately, Sonic was quick enough to catch the Emerald.

"You two, get Chris some first aid!" Sonic called. "I'll deal with Metal!"

"O-Okay!" Tails said, shaking himself out of his stunned trance and running toward Chris. Chris could only stare in disbelief as blood dripped down his arm and onto the concrete floor of the warehouse. Tails quickly looked away; he was squeamish at the sight of blood.

Fortunately, Amy was quickly taking charge of the situation. Chris could tell that she wanted to give Metal a piece of her mind, but helping Chris came first.

Chris' arm was on fire with pain, and he could only hope that Metal didn't sever any of his arteries. He was too young to die, and he too couldn't look at the blood that was now leaving a trail on the ground. He was already starting to feel a bit lightheaded.

"Tails, get the X-Tornado ready," Amy told the young fox as she opened the side compartment and fetched the first-aid kit. Tails shakily nodded before opening the front canopy.

"Okay, let's see," Amy said. "Hold out your hand for me, Chris," she requested, and Chris started to move his hand up, but he could feel another pain as he did.

Amy let out a short gasp and quickly averted her eyes.

"Oh, that's not good…" she said quietly before opening up the first-aid kit. "That is not good at all…"

That was not good news for Chris to hear in the least. Even though Amy had the most medical knowledge out of everyone on the team, to hear that from her made it sound like the injury was beyond her control.

"I-Is there anything you can do…?"

"I'll try and patch it up as best as I can, just hold still for me," she said as she reached into the first-aid kit and pulled out some cloth, gauze, and medical tape. The wound appeared to be too large to use antibiotic cream, so she had to make do with covering it with the cloth and gauze and securing them with the tape.

"This is just until we make it to the hospital," Amy told him, flinching at a sudden crash from the fight back inside the warehouse. "Can you get inside on your own?"

"I-I don't know…" Chris whimpered as he looked inside the plane, before attempting to climb it. However, he couldn't move his arm too much because it hurt, and to his shock and Amy's horror, not only was the cloth saturated already, but two drops of blood landed on the ground.

"Oh no… oh no oh no oh no…" she panicked, trying to control herself as best as she could. "Tails! He's bleeding through the bandages!"

"You guys get in the back!" Tails called. "That way you can keep treating Chris."

"O-Okay!" Amy called back.

"If you need help, let me know," Tails responded, waiting there for a moment to see if Chris did need help.

Fortunately, Chris was able to make it inside the plane on his own, but he winced every time he moved his arm.

"You may wanna get in the very back," Amy said, looking up at him in concern.

"G-Good idea," Chris said, trying to shift his position. He yelped as he slipped and nearly fell out of the plane onto the ground, but he caught himself with his left hand just in time. He eased himself into the plane and sat down. It was very hard to buckle himself in with only one hand, and he finally finished at the same time Amy got in.

"I-It's still bleeding…" Chris whimpered.

"I'm here, I'm right here," Amy tried to soothe him, even though her voice was tense and it showed. "Just hold your arm out for me, I'll make sure the bleeding slows down."

Chris did so as the canopies closed, and by the time they were airborne, Amy had already covered his badly injured arm with two more layers of gauze, but even they were starting to become saturated. However, the motion of losing a lot of blood combined with the change of pressure during the takeoff made spots appear before his eyes. He was feeling even more lightheaded, and he didn't register that he had even lost consciousness until Amy said his name.

"Y… Y-Yeah…?"

"Chris, are you okay?" Amy asked, trying not to sound panicked. "Stay with me, please!"

"I-I'll try…" Chris said, his gaze not leaving his arm that Amy was trying to treat. "Did I… fall asleep…?"

Amy paused for a moment, before she realized what happened.

"I think you went unconscious for a few seconds," she said in shock. "Tails, how far away is the hospital?!"

"Umm… Four and a half minutes away," Tails said, trying to keep his own panic at bay. And yet it still didn't feel like enough time. "I'll land us outside the emergency doors."

"Okay…!" Amy said before returning her attention to Chris' arm, periodically switching out completely red cloths for clean white ones. She had never seen an injury this bad, especially on a human in person.

Chris had to be okay. He had to be.

A/N: That concludes day 22! I think I'm kinda getting better writing with blood lately, even though I don't really like having blood most of the time.

I've been wanting to do a prompt with Metal Sonic and a warehouse since Day 15, but I wasn't sure how to fit it in... until now! Also, this reminds me I probably should do a character study oneshot for Amy, since I could use a little more practice with writing her personality.

Tomorrow's theme is "Forced Choice!"
