(Scene: The Fandom Theater - Lab)
(Kitty, Maddie, and Brooke were looking at the different science experiments and computers as Finn showed them around. Maddie and Brooke were amazed but Kitty was lost in thought)
Finn: Now, girls. These can be very dangerous. One wrong move and the consequences can be very dangerous. (Looks at Kitty) that goes to you too, Kitty.
Kitty: (snaps back to reality) Sorry, just, I kept smelling something… fishy.
Finn: (Freezes and becomes nervous) Well, uh. Maybe it's one of my experiments. I have been working on marine based science in the last few days.
Maddie: (Looks at these notes on mermaids) Ooh… What's this?
Brooke: (Looks at them as well) looks like some documents on mermaids.
Finn: (Calms down) Ah, right. I have been looking into that a bit. Very interesting stuff. In fact… (Keeps talking)
(He keeps on talking, the other girls watching awkwardly)
Brooke: I… is he gonna be-
Kitty: (Eyes half lid with boredom) talking nonstop for a while? Yeah.
Maddie: Yeesh! I may know nonsense, but him talking about sensible stuff like this is even more confusing!
Kitty: (Gets irritated about the babbling) okay, I can't take this. (Takes something from the nearby tables) Take this!
(she managed to stop him talking by spraying something in his mouth. It looked like a detergent bottle)
Finn: (Accidently swallows it) Ah! What did you just do?!
Kitty: You kept talking a river of words! I had to shut you up!
Finn: Any way else would have been nice! And you just gave me one of my untested experiments!
Brooke: (Worried) So… you don't know what's gonna happen to you?
Maddie: (Worried but curious) what were you trying to make?
Finn: Some kind of power-up. It was for turning into different forms at will.
Kitty: Why would you even make something like that?
Finn: Doesn't matter. Right now I- (Feels something funny) on no.
(A puff of smoke appears around Finn. the other girls coughed)
Brooke: (coughs) everyone okay?
Maddie: I'm A-okay!
Kitty: I'm good. Can't see anything though.
Maddie: (Takes out her hat and grabs inside to reveal a fish bowl of water) no, (hands the bowl to Brooke and takes out two blue balloons and one pink balloon) no, ( let the balloons fly away takes out a fan) Ah! Here we go! (Flaps the fan around to have the smoke cleared away)
(Smoke is cleared. The girls smile at each other until they heard gasping)
Brooke: Huh?!
(They all turned to the source of the gasping, which seemed to look like Finn but he looked like a pink, red, and purple fish, flopping around in panic)
Finn: (Flops and gasps) Help! *gasp* I need- *Gasp* Water!
(Brooke immediately grabbed Finn and but him in the fish bowl and sighed in relief as he was breathing in the water properly)
Maddie: Convenient!
(they all look at Finn)
Finn: *sigh* Look, the short of this is that this is one of my forms. And I don't think I can turn back at will like I usually do. We need to find a solution to this.
Kitty: (Licked her lips) I have an idea!
Finn(Scared): (Backs away) Eep!
Maddie: (narrows her eyes) I know what is and no, don't eat him.
Kitty(Disappointed): Aww…
Finn: It might wear off. But I still need to give these (points at some of the documents on the table) to VP. They're very important and I need to deliver them, pronto.
Brooke: Kitty will give them to her.
Kitty: What?! Why me?
Brooke: you're the one with teleportation. Not to mention I don't trust you around Finn when he's like this. (Motions as his fish form)
Kitty: (Salivating. And then stops herself) Fine. (Take the documents) I'll take the dumb documents.
Finn(Offended): *Gasp!* I worked hard on those! You wouldn't understand the struggle and research I put into them!
Kitty(Annoyed): Shut your words and I'll consider having fish salad early for dinner.
Finn(Scared): Eep!
Maddie: Kitty, don't be like that. If you do this, we'll go back home and you can have all the fish you can eat. Does that sound wonderful?
Kitty: (Thinks it through) Alright. (Places a kiss on Maddie's cheek) see ya.
(warps away)
Brooke: (Looks at Finn) you. Explain… (motions him in his form) this.
Finn(Nervous): Uhh…. Don't question it?
Brooke(Deadpanned): Is that seriously the only excuse you people have?
Finn: *sigh* At this point, yeah.
Maddie: (sipping tea) well, let's just get to know each other while Kitty makes a delivery. I'm sure it won't take too much time on the clock.
(A while later)
(Maddie was happily humming a tune and pouring more tea while Brooke and Finn were more bored. And then Kitty came back with her signature cheshire smile)
Brooke(Incredulous): Kitty! What took you so long?! It shouldn't have taken an hour and a half to find VP using teleportation?!
Kitty: uhhh…. (Thinks back)
(Flashback: One hour and thirty minutes - Fandom Theater - food court)
(Kitty appears. VP wasn't there)
Kitty(Confused): Huh? I thought for sure I could instantly get to her. (disappears)
(Scene: Fandom Theater - Security Room)
(After a few attempts, Kitty appears. Still no VP in sight)
Kitty: Huh? Where could she be? And why does my warping keep making me appear in different places but not to the person I want to go to?
(Scene: Outside of the Fandom Theater)
(And some more attempts, Kitty appears in the abyss and seems to be floating. Panicking, she immediately disappears)
(Scene: The Fandom Theater - Library)
(After… more attempts, Kitty appears and still no sign of VP)
Kitty(Frustrated): C'mon! Where could she be?!
(The books get startled and target Kitty)
Kitty: (Struggles with the book attacking) Ah! Hey! I'm sorry! Ah! Flamey, help!
(Scene: The Fandom Theater - Vaults)
(Uhhh… after some more failed attempts, Kitty reappears with book pages stuck to her like a mess. She growls)
Kitty(Angry): I swear, I think my mouth is actually getting tired of smiling. She better be here or else- huh? (Notices Lucky monitoring the cameras of the vaults. Getting tired of teleporting, she runs to him and shouts, maniacally) Lucky!
Lucky: (startles at the voice) Ah! Kitty. You… (Notices her present condition) What happened to you?
Kitty: Doesn't matter! Where's VP?! I've been searching everywhere for her! Even the unnecessary and gross places. (Thoughts back to some, and shudders)
Lucky: Umm. (Glances at the camera screen)
Kitty: (Notices where he was looking and shoves him) Out of my way, let me see.
(The screen shows it being dark. VP had multiple glowing purple strings around her limbs that were connected to equally glowing books. She herself was glowing purple as she sat eerily with a computer lighting up as she got to work)
VP(Camera): he he he…. Ha ha. Hah hah! Ha Haha! (Turns to the camera and her eyes were wide with glowing purple irises that stared at your soul)
Kitty(Scared): Ah! (Turns it off. Confused and traumatized at what she just saw, looking at Lucky for answers)
Lucky: (Pinches the bridge of his nose) I… Look just give me the papers and I'll give them to her after she goes through (Tries to find the words) Whatever the fuck her delirious and insane mind is going in her head. I'll pay you to not even mention it. Kay?
Kitty: (immediately replies) Don't have to tell me twice.
(Flashback over)
Kitty: Don't question it.
Brooke(Shocked): What? But-
Kitty(Serious): Just don't!
(Silence. Brooke and Maddie were confused as heck and Kitty looks at Finn)
Kitty: (Done with it all) Y'know what, I'll just eat him right now. (Pounces on the fishbowl)
Brooke: (Shouts) Hey!
Finn(Scared): Ahhhh!
Maddie: (Shouts) Kitty, stop!
