We're back on chapter twenty-six.

At the Southern Tribe at night, on the streets where Northern soldiers retreat from the rebel.

"They're falling back!" Tonraq said.

A low howl was heard. The rebels and the fire troops turn to see dark spirits perched on the walls of buildings, with Desna and Eska standing on the roof. They turn around to see Unalaq riding a large dark spirit. Unalaq, followed by one of Tonraq.

Back to the arena where Varrick and Zhu Li were led into a police truck. A reporter takes a picture.

"Varrick's plan was to kidnap you and blame it on the North. Then Republic City would have no choice, but to join the war on the side of the South." Lin said.

"I can't believe Varrick would do something like this, and no one saw it coming." Raiko said.

Mako approaches. "I did, sir."

Raiko looks proud of Mako. "You got a great officer on your hands."

"He's one of the best. And he makes a great detective." Beifong said.

"And you're certain he is the Darkbender?" Raiko suggested.

"We're sure, sir."

Ron and Tahno walked to the truck to interrogate Varrick.

"Where is she?" Ron demanded.

"Who?" Varrick asked. "The First Lady's fine."

"Don't you play games with me, Darkbender." Tahno said. "We know you took Korra."

"What? You think that since I've planned to save the South, does that mean I'm the Darkbender?" Varrick asked. "You have to believe me, I'm not the Darkbender."

"Oh, then Zhu Li's the Darkbender then?" Ron asked.

"None of us." Varrick said. "You've gotta believe me. I'm sorry I framed you, Ron."

On the entrance where many reporters were taking pictures of Bolin. Ginger runs up to the beaming Bolin and kisses him, taking him aback. When the kissing stops, Bolin looks on dreamily.

"I can't believe my boyfriend is a real-life hero!" Ginger said.

Bolin got confused. "Boyfriend? Wait, stop. I thought you said we weren't a couple."

"You really are as dumb as those rocks. Of course, we're a couple." Ginger said before she kisses Bolin.

Asami came to Bolin. "Bolin, you and Mako saved the President! And you proved Mako and Ron right all along. We have to go tell him what happened."

"Yeah!" Bolin returns to kissing Ginger, which Asami responds by clearing her throat. "Oh, you meant right now."

Bolin turns up to see Oogi descending to the Arena. Kim jumps off the bison and approaches the President.

"President Raiko!"

"Kim Possible? What's wrong?" Raiko asked. "And who is this green woman?"

"Shego." Shego answered.

"She-go?" Raiko was confused. "Um…"

Kim, Shego, Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi walked up to Raiko.

"Look, I know Korra asked for your help before, but things have changed. Unalaq doesn't just wanna take over the South anymore. He wants to destroy the whole world."

Ron, Tahno, Varrick, Zhu Li, Bolin, Asami, Mako, and Beifong looks in shock, and Raiko as well.

"Unalaq is going to destroy the world? He really does have a doomsday device?" Bolin asked in fear.

"He's trying to release a powerful dark spirit during Harmonic Convergence, which is only a few days away. If he succeeds, the world as we know it, is over." Kim said. "Sir, we desperately need your help."

"I'm sorry, Kimberly, but my answer is still no." Raiko said before Kim, Shego and Aang's children widen their eyes in shock.

"Okay, I get the point. He is a coward." Shego said bitterly.

"There are lives on the line! Raiko, you must reconsider!" Tenzin yelled angrily.

"I'm aware that lives are on the line. And that's precisely why my troops are staying here. If the world is going to be thrown into chaos as you claim, I need to protect my citizens. I'm sorry."

"Sir, Nuktuk needs your help. I know you love helping people." Bolin tries to reason with Raiko.

"Son, I appreciate you saving my life and I'm a big fan of your work, but my decision is final." Raiko said.

"THAT'S IT!"

Kim ran to Raiko, and she punched him in the face. Then a Pterodactbot came, and grabbed Raiko who started screaming in fear. The benders tried to attack the robotic beast, but Hergo shoot them with her fireball from a hovercraft with the Darkbender. The flying robot dropped Raiko at the vehicle.

"Take a look around, Miss Possible, because my world's about to change." the Darkbender said.

The hovercraft flew back to the South Pole as the Darkbender laughed evilly.

Ron and Tahno looked at Varrick who was telling the truth.

"You're not the Darkbender. You are telling the truth." Ron said. "God, who is this guy?"

"The Darkbender's got the President." Lin said.

"The best thing is we need the fleet to go to the South." Tenzin said.

"There isn't much time for that now." Shego suggested. "The Darkbender wants Vaatu's power. So we have to go right now."

"Wow, Shego. I didn't think you had it in you." Ron said.

"Wait, this is Shego? The hero who turned into a sidekick of a mad scientist?" Asami said.

"Hi. Asami, right?" Shego said. "I only came here to kill Drakken."

"Fair enough." Asami said.

"If you guys need help, I'm here for you." Asami said.

"Yeah, me too." Bolin replied.

"And me." Mako determined.

"And we're gonna end the war and stop the Darkbender. Where's all the stuff you stole from Asami?" Bolin asked Varrick.

"It's all on my battleship." Varrick said.

"You have a battleship?" Kim asked.

"Of course, I do! I bought the first one they made! Named her the 'Zhu Li'." Varrick said before he sits down.

"You named your battleship after your assistant?" Bolin asked in confused.

"Yup. They're both cold, heartless war machines." Varrick said.

"Right-o." Rufus said.

"Look, I'm truly sorry for the mess I caused." Varrick said apologetically. "I just wanna save the Southern Tribe. Let me make it up to you, take Zhu Li."

Everyone looks on in silence before.

"My battleship, it's yours, and everything on it. And Ron, Mako, Asami. I truly am sorry I hurt you."

Meanwhile, back at the Southern Tribe, where Tonraq was attacking a dark spirit perched on a wall. The spirit jumped off to avoid the attack and slams on the ground, knocking off a rebel and a Fire Nation soldier with its tail before charging at Tonraq again, where he retaliates with a water blast, dissipating it.

He turns, only to be knocked back with a water stream. A rebel assists with a stream, but gets knocked back. The assailants were Desna and Eska.

Tonraq dodges the attack and retreats behind a pillar for cover. He braces himself to shield from another attack.

"Get the men and fall back." Tonraq ordered.

"What about you?" a rebel asked.

Tonraq shields himself from another attack before noticing his brother walking with attacking soldiers and a dark spirit.

"I'm going to end this, right now. Go."

Tonraq bends an ice wall, separating the twins. Desna dodges before bending out an ice shield, only for Tonraq to destroy it. Tonraq runs across the alley and attacks two soldiers before freezing the other two.

"Hello, Tonraq. Looking for me?" Unalaq asks wickedly.

Tonraq bends a massive stream at Unalaq, who stops it with an ice shield. In the mist, Unalaq attacks Tonraq with a massive ice block, throwing him some distance.

"Brother, I'm too strong for you." Unalaq said.

"You're no brother of mine. You betrayed me, you had me banished!" Tonraq said.

"Yes! I did." Unalaq replied with an evil grin.

Enraged, Tonraq charges at Unalaq with waterbending, only for his momentum to be stopped by Desna and Eska.

Unalaq walks down the stairs toward Tonraq. "Stop! He's mine." Unalaq's children stop bending and step back.

"You are not the true chief." Tonraq said.

"I am. And you will bow to me." Unalaq said back.

Unalaq bends the snow beneath him, slamming Tonraq against an ice wall. Tonraq bends out a stream, which Unalaq catches and spins into a circle. As Tonraq charges, he uses the stream to form ice structures, which Tonraq manages to dodge and counter.

Unalaq bends out a large stream, which Tonraq dodges at the last minute before protecting himself with a wall and attacking Unalaq.

Behind the wall, he rides an ice sheet and charges toward Unalaq. Before Tonraq can land the final blow, Unalaq knocks him off with an ice pillar. He approaches Tonraq and demolishes all the ice structures, before freezing him.

He smirks in victory while Tonraq closes his eyes, bracing himself for the impact. Unalaq bends out a stream, shattering the ice and knocking Tonraq out.

"Now that I've defeated you, your daughter and the Darkbender are next."

Then, the spirits attacked the twins, which shocked Unalaq.

"What are you doing?" he shouted out.

"They are in my commanded."

The Darkbender arrived with his clones and his alpha robot. Unalaq tried to strike, but the dark spirits grabbed his arms.

"How are you controlling them?" Unalaq asked.

"Because I have the ability to bend the spirits to my will. And you have no power over them." the Darkbender said.

Unalaq tried to break free, but the Darkbender struck him with lightningbending.

"Away with them!"

The spirits took Unalaq and his children away to his fortress, and the villain walked to his hovercraft and flew to his fortress.

Tonraq was left alone. "Who is this figure?"

The Darkbender has taken over the North and the South Pole!
