Erusian/ Osean FOB, Newly named "Fort Harling"
Two Osean soldiers stood at the Gate and watched in awe as the new Base defenses where driven in on Trucks. They where a mix of C-WIS turrets, Missile launchers and some completely new stuff none of the two had ever seen before.
"What the hell's that thing?", asked one the other as he gestured to a C-WIS turret like structure, but instead of the all familiar Gatling canon it had something else on it. From what they saw, it had a giant lens on the Tip.
"Do you know Dr. Shroeder?", the other soldier asked. "That drone guy who gave our fly boys hell?". "Uh...yeah", the other guy answered and pointed at the turret passing by, "i think that's the DEAD system", said the soldier. "DEAD... system?", asked the other one bewildered. Never before did he hear or see something like this.
"As far as i remember, it's one of Shroeder's invention and the full name is Directed Energy Air Defense System. Simply put, they took a C-WIS turret, removed the 30 mike mike and strapped a huge ass laser which was previously mounted beneath a Fighter. These things are pretty effective, especially against Missiles. I mean you can intercept them with Pinpoint accuracy". The other soldier nodded in understanding. Though seconds later a similar looking Turret came through the black void of the Gate. "And what the hell's that?".
"The EMLAD, i think. It's the same concept but with a Electro magnetic launcher, aka, a Railgun".
"This means EMLAD, stands for Electromagnetic launched Air defense, or what?".
"Yeah no, that's right".
"Wow... that's really original ain't it", he scoffed. The two fell into a comfortable silence as they watched more and more Military and civilian equipment coming through the Gate.
"How do you know all this stuff? I mean it isn't like it's all free access Intel they just release into the big wide Web", said the soldier, breaking the silence.
"I have a Friend in the DOD", the other one replied simply.
"Haha, very funny bro. Come on, tell me, how'd you find out?".
"No i'm for real. I have a friend in the DOD and he told me most of this stuff". The two fell again in a comfortable silence.

Gate-Recon-6
Alnus Hill/ Fort Alnus
"Alright people, this way please", Itami urged the Oseans, erusians and the special region residents into a office building which oddly enough looked like a embassy.
Entering the climatized building, they where greeted by an smug looking lieutenant. A loud groan came from Itami as first Lieutenant Yanagida held in front of the group. His perfectly coned hair was a good indicator of what of a kind he was.
Hudson and Mitchell gave each other a knowing look and then a deadpanned at the First Lieutenant.
"Hello Itami, you're late. The diet is waiting for you and you know how much these suits don't like waiting". Itami glared at the man, "Just go out of my way. I'm not in the mood for your shenanigans". Yanagida Scowled at him. He didn't like being put in his place, especially from a soldier of equal or lower rank.
Mitchell didn't like the guy. Hudson made it also clear when he gazed at Mitchell with that one expression that says "What the fuck is this?". The best response Mitchell could muster was a shrug.
But before Yanagida could retort Hamaza materialized behind him. "Good afternoon gentlemen", the older man greeted the Oseans and Erusians cutting Yanagida off before his open mouth could make a sound. "Yanagida, stop bothering our guests", Hazama added with a smirk. The former's eye twitched, something Hazama really thought to be funny.
Hazama's Office:
"Yes exactly general. We want to be part of the Diet. We want to engage in friendly relations with the Governments of your world. Especially with yours of course since we're currently the only three nations sharing the Gate".
"Three?", asked Hamaza in bewilderment at Hudson's claim.
"Yes, three. japan of course, My nation Osea and her nation", he gestured to Cossette, "the kingdom of Erusia".
Hamaza nodded in understanding. "I heard you interrogated one of my soldiers, is that right?". Hamaza narrowed his eyes at the OIA Agent.
"Well, technically she was a prisoner of war because of that incident with your Attack Helicopter. Only briefly though but nonetheless a POW. So yes, i did interrogate her for intel". Hamaza cringed as he was reminded of his Pilot shooting at the Osean Marines.
"To put your minds at ease, he's being court martialed as off now and he will face the consequences". Hudson nodded. The room fell into a silence as no one spoke for the rest of the remaining minutes. Then Hamaza decided to break the silence and clapped in his hands, signaling that their meeting was over and that they need to prepare for the venture. "So, my men have prepared a bus on the other side of the Gate for your transportation to the diet. The local police forces will handle the rest".
At the Gate:
Itami looked at his wristwatch, wondering where their vehicles where. They would get into some military grade cars and then, after reaching the other side of the Gate, enter the before mentioned Bus.
"Lieutenant! Where're your guys?", yelled Mitchell, also wondering where the soldiers where. Itami just shrugged in response, earning a annoyed Huff from the Marine Raider.
Suddenly the cars broke through the blackness of the Gate, startling the Falmart residents as they each honked. Especially Bozes was scared the most, jumping into Hudson's arms. The knight didn't notice until she gazed into the Agent's harsh glare.
Instead of the gentleness she was used to, he just dropped her like a hot potato. Bozes yelped when she impacted the ground and rubbed her soar butt. Hearing Hudson laugh gave her the confidence to take revenge on him in the form of a kick to his legs. Not seeing this coming, Hudson was completely taken of guard and fell to the ground as his legs where kicked away underneath him. He also released a yelp as his behind hit the hard ground, which in turn triggered a giggle from the blonde.
Piña noticed it and smiled softly, in her mind this could be a start of a great alliance between Osea and Sadera.
"And i thought, he was the adult in here", said Mitchell sighing and shaking his head, "Fucking kids".
"Alright people, get in here. We don't have all day". Itami urged the colorful bunch to get into the military vehicles. They already where far behind in their time schedule so he tried his best to catch up with the time.
The actual drive through the Gate wasn't eventful, what came after was much more interesting. Thousands of Japanese journalists, reporters and what not had gathered in front of the Gate. They where being held off by JSDF and Police members as the Military vehicles came to an halt in front of the bus.
The first door opened and Itami dismounted. He went up to the back door and opened it letting Rory, Lelei and Tuka also dismount the vehicle.
Before Hudson got out he radioed his team. "Osean Agency guys and the Rusi Commandos, you guys should hide your faces". The Erusians didn't appreciate Hudson calling them Rusis but did as he ordered. They took off their helmets and pulled each a black balaclava over their heads before strapping their helmets back on.
Mitchell and Hudson dismounted on their respective vehicles, letting the two Princesses and their two advisers leave the car and enter into the bus.
Princess Cossette was closely tailed by Trigger, all the camera flashes didn't affect her at all. She was used ho all the paparazzo following her around in Erusia. Piña on the other hand was completely taken aback. Bozes didn't fare better and both had to be shoved by Hudson to break out of their stupor.
The crowd cheered and chanted for the Other worlders to answer questions or to pose for pictures. They ignored them and entered the bus. Normally a bus tasked with VIP transport like this one would have blackened bullet proof windows. In this case it was different. The Japanese government thought it was a great idea to slap on regular windows so the people could see inside, a fact really disliked by the Osean Agents. Hudson made it clear when he tapped the window. "Regular windows? Are they fucking serious?". The Agent sitting behind Hudson shifted uncomfortably in his seat and eyed the window. "They throw some VIPs in a bus with windows which fucking shatter when a baseball hits them", Hudson added and gave Itami a pointed look. The latter shrank into his seat and kept his eyes forward.
"Yo Lieutenant", called Nantz from the back of the Bus. Itami perked up and pressed himself to turn his head. Immediately he met Hudson's cold glare but then shifted his gaze to look at the Osean Marine.
"Yeah?", he asked. "Where the hell's our driver?". As summoned, a young Japanese soldier stepped into the Bus. He looked down the rows of seats and froze as multiple cold gazes from masked Operators and Commandos landed on him.
He began to tremble when he was trying to speak and stuttered over each word. "H... Hello M... My name i... is Jaku. I am y... your d... driver". He bowed dramatically and sat into the driver's seat, still trembling.
The lead Agency operator looked over to his comrade and released a snicker as the other did the same.
A/N:
I know, I know. These chapters are coming out a little sloppy and short. I really don't like this part of the Gate story minus the fighting part. I'm sorry guys but this has to do until we're back in falmart because the situation's about to light up... literally. Satellites about to be launched into space, Bombs being dropped, invasions started and what not
