King Dedede, the self-proclaimed king of Dream Land, found himself in an unusual situation. Through some sort of mysterious crossover of universes, he had stumbled into the literature club room, where the four girls from Doki Doki Literature Club were gathered.
Monika* Welcome to the Literature Club, mister... um, could you please introduce yourself?
Dedede, confidently stroking his hammer*
King Dedede* Hah! I'm King Dedede, the mightiest ruler in all of Dream Land. And what's this nonsense 'bout a literature club? I ain't got no time for books, I've got a kingdom to run!
Sayori, with a cheerful smile*
Sayori* Oh! Dream Land sounds like a place from a storybook! Do you think you could tell us a story about it? We love sharing stories here!
King Dedede* Could I? Bah, I could tell ya tales of my battles with that pesky Kirby that'd make your head spin! But King Dedede ain't much for tellin'—I'm more about showin' what I can do!
Natsuki, crossing her arms with a smirk*
Natsuki* Telling might actually be better for you. Seems like someone who's always beaten by Kirby wouldn't have much to show in terms of victories, right?
King Dedede, puffing up his chest* What? No way! I've got more victories than you'd think, pipsqueak! I ain't scared of that pink ball!
Yuri, adjusting her glasses and speaking calmly*
Yuri* Mr. King Dedede, it seems to me that you possess a certain... gravitas that could be quite interesting in the context of literature. Perhaps there's a poetic side to your endeavors that we could explore?
King Dedede, scratching his head* Po-eh-tic, eh? Well, I suppose my battles are epic enough to make them fancy poets jealous! So, how do we start with this poem thing?
Monika, with a welcoming gesture*
Monika* Simply express your feelings and experiences in words. Poetry can be a powerful way to convey the depth of your emotions, your challenges, and dreams.
Dedede, taking a moment and then speaking boastfully*
King Dedede* Alright then! *Ahem!* "In Dream Land's wide and wondrous scope, I rule with an iron grip of hope. My enemies quake and know no peace, for my hammer swings and will never cease!"
Everyone claps lightly, impressed with Dedede's first attempt at poetry.*
Sayori* That was amazing! King Dedede, you're a natural!
Natsuki* I gotta admit, that was pretty cool. You're more talented than I thought!
Yuri* Indeed. Your words carried a certain weight and rhythm. It was quite captivating.
Monika* Who knew we would find a poet in King Dedede? You are welcome in the Literature Club anytime.
King Dedede, chuckling* Ah, you girls ain't so bad! Maybe this old king has a soft spot for literature after all. You keep up with your club, and I might just drop by with more tales of the mighty King Dedede!
With that, it seemed the unexpected visitor had unexpectedly found a new appreciation for the creative outlet that literature could provide. Though, how long this change of heart would last was anyone's guess in the wacky and unpredictable worlds of Kirby and Doki Doki Literature Club.
