Chapter 15
Setsuna remains in Towa's bedroom, still waiting for Sesshomaru to bring the Tenseiga. He enters with the sword still in its sheath in his one hand. "Thank you, father." Setsuna bows in respect as she receives the sword and places it over Towa's body with her one hand grasping the hilt. The sword pulsates to react to the inner pain that Towa is going through.
Towa is in the school hallway. "Where am I?" She simply asks herself as she walks aimlessly around the school. Ever since the announcement about the boy's death, the school was to remain silent in respect for the boy and his grieving family. Towa, Setsuna and Moroha are new to the school, so they don't really know the boy that well.
She enters the gym through its one open door. She is about to enter until she sees the boy going into the storage room. 'Is that him?' She asks as she follows him. Before she could get to the room, the door immediately shut on its own. "Oh no." She gasps and tries to open the door.
"Identification requested." The door said to the girl. Towa looks down to see a fingerpad on the door's knob. "It wouldn't hurt to try." She shrugs her shoulders and pressed her fingerprint onto the pad.
"Access denied." The door's security system speaks. "Hey, kid, are you in there?" Towa knocks on the door.
"Yeah. I don't know how I got here." The boy's voice responds to her. Towa can tell that something's odd about him. Either way, the boy was able to get out, much to Towa's shock. "Hey, were you getting something in there?" Towa asks him as the young boy comes out.
"I don't remember ever coming here. I felt like I processed by someone." The boy answers her casually. "But are you able to tell if something were to take control of you?" Towa asks him curiously.
"No, I'm a bull demon. I don't have that kind of ability to tell. It's a good thing that you woke me up before that door locked me in there." He said with a relief smile.
"I take it that you must be Gin. I'm Towa. Me, my sister and cousin just came here. We're sorry about your death." Towa politely introduced herself.
"Oh no. Not again." Gin groans. Towa didn't notice that reaction. "What do you mean by 'Not Again'?" She asks him.
"I didn't know that I'd be the one to be killed. It must've been the Mastermind of the School. I just don't know who it is through." Gin sits onto the bleachers that was pulled out at the bottom row.
"Do you have any idea who it could be. Why target you?" Towa sits next to him. Gin sighs, "I don't know to be honest. But if I were to guess, I'm one of those popular students in the school. Every year one of those students would be the target. That's all I can come up with."
Towa nods. Soon enough the Tenseiga appears in front of her. "Tenseiga?" She takes the sword. Gin looks at it. "What's with the sword?" He asks
Towa pulls out the sword from the sheath. "This is the Tenseiga. According to legend, it can save lives with one stroke." She explains to him.
"What do you mean by that?" Gin stands up. The sword pulsates to show Towa a few minions from the underworld, about to chain up the half bull demon.
"This sword is meant to revive souls." Towa said it in an easier tone. "But it can only revive soul once. So don't go off getting killed." She swings the sword, destroying the minions and sending Gin back to the world of the living.
Towa gasps as she sits up quickly, "Towa." Setsuna speaks to calm her down. She smiles to her. "I'm ok. Why do I have the Tenseiga with me?" She asks as she sees herself holding the sword. "I came up with the idea." Setsuna said to her.
Soon enough the boy that Towa was with appears right in front of her and her sister. "What? Where am I?" The boy asks her.
"Oh, I kind of revived you back." Towa said as she rubbing the back of her neck in embarrassment.
"Towa, is this Gin?" Sestuna whispers to her sister.
Towa nods to confirm it. "I was somehow able to revive Gin when the Tenseiga came out of nowhere in my dreams and tells me that it wants to revive him."
Gin looks around to find himself in Towa's bedroom. "Ok, then that sword must've brought me here." He points out.
Setsuna turns her sight to him. "Usually, the Tenseiga must be close to the dead body to be brought back." She tells him the sword's ability.
Towa holds her chin, "But from what Gin told me, he died in the gym's storage room." Gin nods to her. "But should we be at the place where it happened?"
"You have a point, but I bet that the body has been removed." Towa said to him. Gin frowns at that. "Then that would me I'm a spirit." He said to the twins.
Setsuna comes to him to test that theory. She puts her hand onto his shoulder. Shockingly, it didn't go through him. "Hmm. Well maybe the Tenseiga was able to bring not just your spirit back but also the body from the place you died."
Gin sits onto the desk chair. "If I'm back from the dead, what should I do at this point?" The twins don't really know. Soon Towa's iPad beeps. "What's going on?" Gin asks her.
"It's a video chat from my cousin." Towa answers him casually as she pressed answer on the screen. The screen turns to show Moroha on the other end of the screen. "Towa. Are you okay?" Moroha asks her.
Towa nods, "I'm fine. What about you?"
Moroha calms down, "I'm okay. I guess, but I need to ask you something."
"Ask away." Towa encourages her to continue.
"This might be crazy, but I was able to meet Gin in my dreams." Moroha tells her cousin. Towa doesn't seem surprised at that revelation.
"Don't tell me…" Moroha starts off. Towa turns the screen to Gin in the desk chair. "Does this guy look familiar, Moroha?" Towa asks her.
Moroha nods. "That's him. But how is he here?" She asks in disbelief.
"I was somehow able to bring him back to life. But there's a problem." Towa responds as she keeps the screen aiming at the twins and Gin, putting the tablet onto a stand to keep it facing them.
"What is the problem? He's back from the dead." Moroha doesn't seem to understand the circumstance.
"If Gin is back, it can create confusion around town as well as the school. No one even knows about Tenseiga's ability to revive the dead." Towa tells Moroha. "And that goes for you Gin. Only this family knows about it. So, for the time being, you are to remain here so that the one who killed you won't come after you." She warns him.
Gin nods. "Seems I have no choice."
"Maybe you can help us with something." Setsuna said this time. Gin turns to her. "Sure."
"We need you to help us on a mission." Setsuna said to him. "We need to know who the Mastermind is."
