Freefall sighed as he finished, then turned to Talon and Freedom. Freedom was doing his best to cool Talon off with a cold rag, with Talon's glowing veins having spread across his chest and was now traveling down.

Freedom: *worried* You doing alright?

Freefall looked over at Freedom, the Patriot could see the tiredness in his eyes.

Freefall: Just...trying to find out what's going on. I never seen an illness like this, the symptoms don't match any illness at all; so with that in mind...I beleive it's actually an infection that Talon has.

Freedom sat up more as Freefall got up, picking up the book with the information on it.

Freedom: A-An infection?

Freefall: Yeah, has all the marks. His temperature is 104°F, the temperature of a viral infection. He is sweating like crazy too, and-

Talon coughed up more blood, Freedom gently raising him and covering his mouth with a tissue.

Freedom: I take it coughing is one as well. Cause he's been doing that and the amount he coughs up is even worse.

Freefall: Oh yeah, it is. So this is not an illness we are dealing with but an infection. Luckily, in some way, I check with the others and I doesn't effect them.

Freedom nodded as Freefall wrote down some more information.

Freefall: So with this new realization and discovery, *sets book down* The infection seems to only effect Rusherz like Talon, Rusherz who have anti-gravity powers like 'RISE UP'. Much as this is alot of information, we still need more in order to find out how to stop this.

Freedom: *hopeful* At least we got more on this, better than nothing. Besides one step closer to solving this.

Talon had stopped coughing at last, Freedom setting him back down and about to throw the tissue away. Freefall stopped him eyeing the tissue.

Freefall: May I, I might be able to find something if I take a look at his blood.

Freedom gave a small smile nodding, handing it to Freefall.

Freedom: Sure. Just, don't overwork yourself okay. I don't think Talon would want you to burn yourself out too.

Freefall: *small smile* I won't, thank you Freedom.

Freefall looked under the microscope of the blood sample from the tissue.

Freefall: Alright, so...blood cells look..*confused* irritated? Pardon?

He strengthen the scope's view a bit, seeing more of the cells.

Freefall: *confused* What the heck is making them so irritated? And so few as well.

Meanwhile, Georgetown University...

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *looks at the note and crystal* Interesting. I must say when you called me for a favor, I was not expecting it to be a dire situation given the footnotes.

Troy (in Guardian Armor) and Stampede were in the Dean office of Georgetown university, the dean more than happy to help even with just being told the footnotes of the situation.

Troy: I know. Freefall is doing all he can with this situation, but we need to ask about these objects. For some reason, I have a feeling these two are connected to the situation.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *nods* Very much so. Things do happen for a reason *gets up*, I beleive we can look at this crystal first given the lab is open for today.

Stampede: -sighs in relief- Dean Mitchell thank you so much.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *warm smile* Nonsense, we are more than happy to help you all so don't be afraid to come over and ask.

The dean finished setting up the the microscope, Troy holding onto the red crystal.

Troy: Really hope we find something on these two, even if it's just small.

Stampede: Same here...I-I don't want to think on what could happen to Talon if-if we don't find anything. I-If we don't he might..*trails off*.

Troy went down and patted the Bill Rusherz' back to reassure him.

Troy: We will, I know we will. We're going to help him no matter what we need to do.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: Alright, I'm set. May I have the crystal?

Troy nodded as he got up and went over, handing the crystal orb to the dean. He placed the orb cautiously under the scope and look in.

...HE WAS LEFT IN SHOCK, YET AWE.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *Shock/awe* My word.

Both: *Hope* WHAT!? WHAT IS IT?!

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: Well, first; one of the side of the crystal, and please to not panic, it's covered in Talon's blood.

Stampede paled upon hearing this.

Stampede: S-So, it got hit too-

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: That's just it. The orb...IT'S FROM TALON TOO.

Troy was in awe hearing this, while Stampede paled even more.

Stampede: *shock* I-I'm sorry what? WHAT?!

Troy: From Talon..*thinks...clicks* OH! Stamps, you and the others mentioned something about a form you guys have right.

Stampede's colors return at the mention of, THAT FORM.

Stampede: Our aura form...Yes. We did mention it after one of your friends venture in the AFC NORTH. Why?

Troy: What can it do if I may ask?

Stampede was hesitant to answer despite the situation, Troy seeing it was still a very..touchy subject.

Stampede mouthed a thank you to him as he looked at the Guardian.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: The Aura form of a Rusher is what disquished them from everyone else, a second skin if you will. It is how they tell their gender as well as they do not have the features like us humans do; The more it is ambient it is male, the more it sparkles it's female.

Troy: Interesting...what else can they do that Stampede would want me to hear?

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *Nods* Well, their aura forms are quite powerful and are used as a last resort in battle much like the form Liberty used months back. It is just as ancient as what we now call "Absolute". There are many other ways the aura form function as well, some which react to how their emotions react; such as dusting which is a result of a breakdown or nerves, they can also harden-

Stampede: *horror* His aura is mixing with his blood cells and clotting his blood stream.

Stampede fell to his knees at this, the dean going down next to him patting his back.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: I take it this is more than the Guardian knows.

Stampede: *horror* Y-Yeah..you see, Talon's veins have been glowing and he's in pain, very bad pain. To the point he..well, let's just say his arm is gonna need time to heal. He's hot and sweating, coughing up blood too. And the vein's glow, it's starting to spread to his whole body.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: And this has been going on since yesterday?

Stampede: *horror* It looks more like it's been going on behind our backs for weeks up until yesterday. *now concern* I just-we have a answer but how do we help Talon with this? I don't suppose there's some medicine that can help?

The dean took a breath, nodding to himself.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: Not medicine, but..I do believe there is a way we can save him.

Stampede looked up fast seeing the seriousness in the dean's eyes.

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *serious* I'm not gonna lie just the way you reacted this is more than just a normal illness, it's an infection...A FATAL INFECTION. Knowing Freefall he will have the skills to pull this off.

Stampede: P-Pull what off?

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *serious* To preform a Surgical Thrombectomy.

Stampede paled a bit at this.

Stampede: T-That's surgery on the blood vessels r-right?

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *serious* Yes. This surgical procedure involves removing the clot and restoring blood flow. HOWEVER, in this case he will need to go for more than one.

...STAMPEDE WANTED TO FAINT AT WHAT THE DEAN WAS TELLING HIM. WAS SUGGESTING.

Stampede: *pale* A-Are you saying-

Dean Stephen Ray Mitchell: *serious* His whole blood stream is full of them, and his heart is making them. FREEFALL WILL NEED TO REMOVE EVERY LAST ONE.
