Thanks goes out to my Co-Author MisaRae. I have recently returned to corporate life and she has been making sense of the messes that I have made while writing at the office. It's not easy writing in that environment let me tell you so she deserves all the thanks and applause that I can give her.

It was now 9:30 in the morning. T-Bone and Katerina embraced one last time before they both climbed into the TurboKat. T-Bone fastened his seatbelt and closed the canopy before starting the engines. He said to Katerina, "Are you ready?"

Katerina sighed as she finished fastening herself into the gunner's seat, "As ready as I am ever going to be. Promise me one thing, T-Bone. That you will be the cat to take me back to prison, and not some Enforcer newbie, or worse, a security guard."

"I will do that for you, Katerina, and I will go one further. I'll talk to the DA and tell him everything that went on from the restaurant forward, so hopefully you can get out of prison sooner," T-Bone said while checking the flight controls.

Once T-Bone was satisfied that everything was operational, he pushed the throttles fully open and took off towards the sky.

T-Bone turned the TurboKat north towards the park and said, "Care to take a flight around the city? We have half an hour to kill before Dark Kat expects us at the treasury."

Katerina was enthralled with flying in the TurboKat. She had developed some pretty impressive planes, but nothing compared with this one. From the feeling of the 'G' forces pushing her back into the seat as they took off, to the way that the jet answered T-Bone's commands, it was as if the TurboKat had a mind link to T-Bone and instinctively knew what he wanted the jet to do. No wonder Dark Kat wanted this plane under his control. She didn't even acknowledge T-Bone when he asked her if she wanted to take a flight around the city. She just stared out of the canopy at the city below them.

T-Bone, wanting to let Katerina have fun in her first flight in his baby, opened up the throttles and threw the TurboKat into a hard bank turn to the left and over the ocean. He took the jet out of the turn and pulled back on the stick in order to gain some more altitude before attempting his next maneuver. Once he was at 36,000 feet, T-Bone threw the stick hard to the left, while using his feet to move the rudder to the left, so the jet was now in a fast spin. T-Bone looked into a mirror to take a glance at Katerina, just to make sure that she was ok and not going to get airsick on him.

Katerina was having the time of her life. She was smiling from ear to ear each time T-Bone attempted another stunt with the TurboKat. She wanted nothing more at the moment than to take control of the plane and put it through its paces. Katerina realized that this was where she belonged, up in the air flying alongside some of the best pilots in the world.

T-Bone looked at Katerina's face and saw how happy she was. He decided to do one final stunt before heading off to the treasury. He released the spin on the jet, then put it into a steep dive. T-Bone watched the 'G' forces climb to over 5 Gs and the altitude drop rapidly to less than 2000 feet, before pulling back hard on the stick, opening up the throttles, and setting the flaps to 60 degrees to maximize their lift in order to pull out of the dive. The TurboKat responded instantly to his commands. It leveled off and skimmed across surface of the ocean for about a quarter of a mile before rising rapidly to an altitude of 15,000 feet. T-Bone reset the flaps to 0 degrees for normal flight, and backed off the throttles so he would not burn through the rest of the fuel he had on board. T-Bone then took a few deep breaths before asking Katerina, "How do you like the ride so far?"

Katerina was still recuperating from his last stunt. As they had glided over the surface of the water, she had lost her ability to speak. After a few minutes of normal flight, she answered with a question, "Do you and Razor get to fly like that every day, or is this a special thing that you do when you want to impress she-cats?" Katerina took a few more deep breaths, just to come down from her high.

"No, Razor and I don't get to fly like that all the time. I go out and stunt fly when I want to test my limits, or to try out some new system that Razor has installed. As for she-cats being in that seat, you and Empress have been the only two she-cats in that position. Empress has not even been out with me when I fly like that. So consider yourself special, Katerina." T-Bone paused and looked at the clock built into the dash board and saw that it was 9:50. He then said, "Time to go and get those codes that Dark Kat wants." T-Bone then set course for the city treasury building.

Jake and Felina quickly ate breakfast and got changed into Razor and Caliber. They met Empress, who was waiting semi-patiently in the hangar, topping off her cyclotron. Empress turned to Caliber and Razor, and asked, "What took you two so long?"

Caliber placed her paws on her hips and said to Empress, "Sorry, Empress, but we had to eat and then we got changed, but we were sidetracked by a little playtime."

Empress was a little ticked at the two of them and practically yelled, "T-Bone is out there, possibly in danger, indulging in some 'Hanky Panky'? What am I ever going to do with you two?"

Caliber walked over to Empress and gave her a hug. She then said, "Just love us as part of our little dysfunctional family."

Empress thought to herself, "Caliber is right. We are a family, no matter how dysfunctional we are at times. I still love them." Empress returned Caliber's hug.

Razor looked at the two females and thought, "Those two are like sisters in every way. Even if they were related, I don't think that they could get any closer than they are now." He just smiled at the two of them. Razor said, "Not that I want to see you two break this up, but we have to get to the treasury building in ten minutes. We can either use the two Cyclotrons, or we have this!" Razor ran down one of the halls in the hangar, leaving Empress and Caliber standing next to the two Cyclotrons. He removed a tarp covering a second jet that he had been secretly working on for years that would augment the use of the TurboKat. He jumped into the pilot's seat, said a small prayer to the gods that the jet would actually start, and hit the starter. The engines started turning in unison for the first time, and the noise from the jet's engines filled the hangar.

Caliber recognized the high pitched whine almost instantly. The noise came from a pair of experimental engines that had been scrapped when the Enforcers couldn't get them to work right. Apparently, Razor had found the bugs that plagued the project and fixed them. The whine of the jet motors was music to Caliber's ears.

Razor released the parking brake and slowly pushed the throttles forward, causing the jet to move through the halls and into the main hangar. Once he was in sight of Caliber and Empress, he pulled the throttles back to idle the engines and set the brakes. Razor jumped out of the cockpit and said to the girls, "What do you think of the TurboKat 2?"

Caliber looked at the jet and saw that it was almost identical to the TurboKat, except it was slightly smaller, and the wings had a steeper rake in them, which just made the jet look like it was doing Mach 3 standing still. Caliber was almost drooling over it. She did not even answer Razor's question.

Empress was also very impressed with the new jet, although she asked, "Where did you find all the parts for this? The engines alone must have cost a small fortune!"

"All the parts, minus a few pieces of sheet metal and the wiring, came from the scrap piles in the yard, Empress. The military scraps out tons of useful stuff every year. Just this morning, I found two more jet engines that some poor cat accidentally scrapped. They are in the yard right now, covered in plastic. I also found five newer model motorcycle frames that I plan on building up into something," Razor replied.

Caliber ran her paw down the jet's belly, almost to the wings. As she was doing that, she asked, "So who gets to fly this baby?" secretly hoping that she would be able to take it on its maiden voyage.

"I am no pilot, and neither is Empress, as far as I know. That leaves you, my love, to take her up in the sky. Think you can handle it, Caliber?" Razor asked.

Caliber was now smiling wider than Jake had when he found those engines that morning. She replied, "Oh yeah, I can handle this baby. Who is going to be the gunner? I can't fly and operate the weapons by myself, can I?"

"You might be able to, Caliber, with practice. As of now, we don't have time to go over all the weaponry right now, so I will be your gunner, and Empress will pilot one of the Cyclotrons solo, if that is ok with you, Empress?"

Empress did not even need to be asked. She straddled the Cyclotron and put her helmet on while Razor was talking to Caliber. She yelled back after starting the motor, "Again, you two are too slow. I am going to have to start giving you two vitamins just to keep up." Empress gunned the motor and popped the clutch, making the rear tire smoke. Then she released the front brake, and she and the Cyclotron were gone before the tire smoke cleared from the hangar.

Razor turned to Caliber and said, "You and Chance are definitely bad influences on her." He climbed into the gunner's seat.

Caliber had already started climbing into the pilot's seat when she heard Razor's comment. She replied, "You didn't think that I was such a bad influence yesterday, now did you? You were definitely enjoying yourself as you took your fiancée to new heights of pleasure."

Razor's mouth dropped open at Caliber's brazen reference to their last pleasure-filled night in Hawaii.

Caliber knew that she had gotten the last word in as she buckled herself into the seat. She closed the canopy and quickly familiarized herself with the controls, before releasing the brake and pushing the throttles open. The TurboKat 2 responded, and immediately got up to speed where the wings could provide lift. Caliber pulled back on the stick, and the jet lifted off the ground. She had to hold back until the jet cleared the outer door, but once it did, she pulled back harder, and the TuboKat 2 gained altitude faster than the TurboKat did. Caliber was very impressed with how the jet handled. Every little twitch that she fed the controls, the jet responded to. Caliber asked Razor, "How did you make this jet so responsive? I barely have to move the stick, and the jet does what I ask it to do?"

"There are no hydraulics in the controls. The entire fight system is fly by wire. Each control has a set of sensors built in that react with the slightest movement. There are no mechanical gauges, either. Everything is on touch screen. Just tap the name of the gauge that you want to see on the screen, and it appears in multiple colors indicating various functions. Now take it easy; this is the TurboKat 2's first flight. I really don't know what its limitations are, and I don't want to find out in combat," Razor replied.

Caliber replied, "Roger," then opened up the throttles more to see how fast the jet actually was.

Empress was speeding through the city on the Cyclotron, ignoring all the rules and regulations of the road. Just above her, she saw the Turbokat heading towards the treasury building, which was a mile ahead of her present location. Being determined to get there before the TurboKat, she opened up the throttle and downshifted a gear. This caused the Cyclotron to lift its front wheel for a second, prompting a round of cheers from several bystanders as she went by. Empress made it to the treasury building within a minute. She found an alley to duck into and park the Cyclotron before getting off of it. She then reached out to Persival with her mind to find out where he was hiding among the roof tops. "Persival, which roof are you on, so I can wait with you?"

Persival heard Callie's voice in his head. He looked around to get his bearings, and he saw the spire of the treasury building directly in front of him, as well as the front door of the building if he looked down from the rooftop. Persival replied, "I am on the roof of the building that is located directly in front of the treasury building, mistress."

"Thanks, Persival. I'll be right up," Callie replied.

Persival was now worried. He would have to protect his young mistress, as well as her fiancé. How was he going to accomplish both tasks? As he resumed his watch, the roof door opened and closed. He heard the familiar sound of a she-cat's heels on the roof top, and he assumed that it was his mistress coming up behind him. The clicking of the heels stopped and a female form crouched next to him. Persival turned his head towards it, and saw a very un-familiar sight. Beside him was a she-cat who had a very similar body type to his mistress, but was dressed very differently. She was wearing a form-fitting blue costume with red accents, thigh-high boots, and a mask. Her hair was braided so it fell down her back. Persival growled at the she-cat.

Empress heard Persival's growl and backed away. She then said, "Persival, it's me, Callie." Empress removed her helmet and mask to show her face.

Persival stopped growling when he saw Callie's face that had been hidden behind the mask. He said, "I am sorry, mistress. I didn't know it was you, and why are you dressed that way?"

Empress put her mask and helmet back on before replying to Persival, "I am one of the SWAT Kats, Persival. When I am dressed like this, please call me Empress."

Persival resumed his post and thought, "She is one of those SWAT Kats things that I heard about on the radio? I am going to have to have a long discussion with her fiancé about what is proper for a she-cat and what is not. That costume she is wearing is not proper attire for a she-cat to wear in public." Persival responded, "Very well, Empress. Now what are you doing up here? I would have thought that your grandmother would have you under lock and key if she found out that you were planning on coming out here."

"I didn't give her much of a choice. I told Callista that I am going to fight alongside my fiancé, and that she could not stop me," Empress replied.

Persival just sat there looking at the rooftop of the treasury building and thought, "My young mistress has grown up to be an independent she-cat. She is an exact copy of her grandmother to a 'T'. I could not be prouder of her."

Caliber landed the TurboKat 2 on the rooftop of an adjacent building, not far from where Empress and Persival were stationed. She shut down the jet's engines, but left the auxiliary power unit on so they could fire up the jet on a moment's notice if needed. Caliber opened the canopy, took off her seatbelt, and jumped out of the cockpit. Razor followed suit, once he was sure that Caliber was out of the way. He walked over to the front of the jet, where Caliber was running her paw over the nose, and asked, "What do you think of her?"

Caliber couldn't stop running her paw over the jet's paint. It felt like glass under her touch. She replied, "I don't know how you managed to get those engines working. We had several top engineers come in and try to fine tune them, but nothing they did worked. Every time they tested the engines, they would either fail to start, or they would overheat and shut down after just a few minutes. As for the rest of the jet, all I can say is: can I have one for my personal use while I am on duty? The planes that we have in the Enforcers are nothing compared to the TurboKat 2."

"Sorry, but the answer is no. I don't have another pair of these engines laying around, and if Feral found out where you got the jet from, he would have a field day. Now, if your uncle placed an order for a very similar plane with Claw-Tek, you might be able to fly something like this every day. It won't be as responsive as the TurboKat 2, or as fast, but it will real close to it," Razor answered.

As Razor answered Caliber's question, the TurboKat came in for a landing on the roof of the treasury building. Razor turned to Caliber, took her paw in his, then said, "Here we go." They both continued to watch and wait until they were needed.

T-Bone landed the TurboKat on the treasury roof and shut down the engines. He opened the canopy and jumped out. He then helped Katerina out of the jet. T-Bone walked towards the left wing and opened a compartment that held a spare Glovetrix. He took it out and placed it on his right paw. He turned to Katerina and asked, "Are you ready?"

"Do I have a choice?" Katerina replied.

T-Bone looked at her and said, "No, you don't." He then ran to the roof access door and tried to open it. It was locked by either a deadbolt or some magnetic lock. He looked at the doorframe, trying to find a way to open the door without blowing it off of its hinges. T-Bone found what he was looking for. To the right of the door frame, hidden under a weatherproof cover, was a keypad. T-Bone knew he didn't have the time to try out all the different combinations that could possibly open the door, so he had to hack into the keypad. T-Bone extended a cable from the Glovetrix and connected it to the keypad. He waited for the computer built into the Glovetrix to do its job. After about a minute, a green indicator on the keypad lit up, and the door clicked open. T-Bone quickly removed the cable and opened the door so he and Katerina could enter the treasury building.

Once inside, they ran down the stairs to the basement level of the building where the server vault was located. As they reached the basement, there was another door that had to be opened. Only this time, not only did they have to enter a code, but there was also a palm print reader that had to be used in order to gain access. T-Bone did not know what to do at that point. He looked at the security devices, and wondered what to do next.

In the security office of the treasury, an alarm sounded, letting security know that someone was inside the stairwell on the basement level. One of the guards looked at the security camera's monitor, and saw two cats that obviously didn't belong there. He hit the alarm button and yelled, "We have intruders in the basement! Get the Enforcers on the phone and get someone down there now!"

Katerina looked up, saw the surveillance camera pointed directly at them, and said, "Smile T-Bone, you are on camera." Then the alarm sounded, and the stairwell lit up with red flashing lights.

T-Bone realized that there was no sense in continuing to fiddle with the door. He had wanted to get in and out unnoticed, but that was not going to happen anymore. He took out a small bomb, placed it by the lock on the door, and yelled at Katerina, "Find something to hide behind!"

Katerina ducked behind the stairs just before T-Bone blew the lock off of the door. The stairwell was now filled with smoke from the explosion, but the door to the basement was open and sitting crooked on the frame. They ran in and quickly found the server room. Once inside, T-Bone found a terminal that he could use to download the file that Jake created with the fake codes and the hidden virus. He handed the flash drive to Katerina and instructed her on what to do while he stood guard. Katerina ran to the terminal, plugged the flash drive into the terminal, and waited for the program that Jake had written to download the file onto the flash drive.

The creeplings heard the alarm in the treasury building start to sound. They started the tank and drove over to the treasury in order to divert any Enforcer attention away from T-Bone and Katerina.

Razor and Caliber also heard the alarm sound, and turned their attention away from the TurboKat 2 towards the treasury building. They each placed a foot on the parapet wall of the building they were on and watched intensely, waiting and ready for anything. They didn't have to wait long. Dark Kat's tank rolled up to the treasury building within minutes of the alarm sounding. They turned toward each other, and with a simple nod, they ran back towards the waiting TurboKat 2. Razor held out his paw to help Caliber into the jet, but she slapped it away as she leaped into the pilot's seat. Razor had to run back a few feet in order to gain the momentum needed to get into the gunner's seat. He ran back to the jet and jumped just as Caliber did, and landed in his seat while Caliber buckled herself in. Caliber said, "I am going to have to take you running with Empress and me. You obviously need it, honey."

Razor ignored Caliber and buckled himself in. Then he fired up the weapons panel and got that section of the TurboKat 2 online.

Caliber started the main engines of the jet. While waiting for them to come to life, she asked, "So what is the plan? We stop the creeplings and let T-Bone and Turmoil get away, or do we give chase and let them shoot us out of the sky?"

"Both. We go after the creeplings and hand them over to the Enforcers, then we go after T-Bone. Hopefully neither T-Bone nor Turmoil will fire back at us. T-Bone does not even know that this jet exists, and I don't want to risk calling over to him if Dark Crud is monitoring the radio traffic," Razor replied as he rapidly flipped switches and pushed buttons on the panel in front of him.

Once the main engines were finally at operational speed, Caliber set the controls so the jet could take off from a standing position, and throttled up the engines. The TurboKat 2 lifted off of the rooftop with a small dust storm. As they reached about 500 feet above the rooftop, Caliber set the controls for normal flight and the jet sped away. She made a quick U-turn about a half mile away, as not to put too much strain on the jet for its maiden voyage, and headed back to the treasury building.

Razor was getting a special surprise ready for the creeplings. Once he was ready, he said, "Get me within 300 yards of the tank and nose the jet down so I can get a real good shot."

"Roger," Caliber replied. She got the jet within the range that Razor requested, and aimed the nose directly at the tank.

Razor was staring intensely at the weapons panel, waiting for the tank to be not only in range, but in the crosshairs of the screen. He smiled once both were accomplished and said, "Bye bye, tank! Shock missile, deploy!"

A single missile was fired at the tank. It hit and stuck out of the top of the tank, but nothing happened.

Caliber yelled back, "What the heck, Razor, you throwing spit balls at them? That thing is a dud!"

"Wait, my dear. Just be patient," Razor replied. Then the entire tank was charged with 6000 volts of electricity, frying every system in the tank. The tank stopped moving instantly. Razor just said, "Bingo."

The creeplings that were in the tank opened the hatch and started running towards the building.

Razor saw the creeplings leaving the tank and said, "Caliber, turn this thing around and get set for another pass. I am going to try to bag all of these guys in one shot."

Caliber lifted the nose and proceeded to give them more altitude before making another U-turn. Once she was satisfied with their current altitude, Caliber brought the TurboKat 2 into a tight turn. She muttered, "Don't let mamma down. I know you can do this."

Razor was surprised to hear Caliber actually use the term 'Mamma'. She was talking to the jet as if it were her kitten.

The TurboKat 2 handled the turn without a problem. From what Caliber could tell by the controls, it almost seemed like the jet was telling her that it wanted to be flown harder and faster than she was letting it. She muttered, "Alright, you want to be let out of your cage? Let's see what you can really do." Caliber pushed the throttles fully open and the TurboKat 2 responded.

Razor felt the sudden acceleration hit him in the gut. He quickly lined up his shot, since he was only going to get one chance at this, and waited patiently for just the right moment. He started counting his heartbeats until the creeplings were in a tight group and they were in the range of the missile, he said, "Vine missile, deploy."

A large single missile was fired from the TurboKat 2, and hit directly in front of the creeplings. A pair of vine-like objects grew from the missile and surrounded the creeplings, securing them for pick up from the Enforcers.

Caliber brought the TurboKat 2 back into a climb and gained some serious altitude. When they reached 50,000 feet, she leveled off. As she brought the TurboKat 2 back to level flight, the jet took off, increasing its speed rapidly as the seconds ticked by. Caliber looked down to see how fast they were really going. She noticed that they were flying at over 700 miles an hour, and the jet had plenty more to go. Caliber had to back it down, because if she didn't, they would be running on fumes, and having to walk back from wherever they landed didn't sound pleasant. Then she took a quick look at the fuel levels and found that the tank was still 3/4s full. Caliber asked Razor, "Hey lover, how is it that we are now over 100 miles away from the city, flying at over 700 miles an hour, and we still have ¾ of a tank of fuel?"

Razor hadn't really been paying attention to where they were. He was more concerned about the TurboKat 2 breaking up under Caliber's control. He replied, "It's those engines. When Professor Hackle developed them, they were supposed to be the most efficient at higher altitudes. The way the Enforcers flew, the engines were starving and tended to malfunction. I figured out a way to keep them fed with what they wanted at lower altitudes, while also increasing their thrust. Yes, they burn more fuel when flying below 30,000 feet, but once you get them above that altitude, they sip fuel no matter how hard you push them."

Caliber was beyond impressed with the TurboKat 2. She just hoped that she would be able to fly it more often. Caliber then set course back to the treasury to chase the TurboKat back to Dark Kat once they were airborne.

Empress and Persival watched as Caliber and Razor quickly took care of the tank and the creeplings with the TurboKat 2. Empress got up and stamped her foot, before kicking a small rock and saying, "Those two get to have all the fun."

Persival, on the other hand, was glad that his mistress did not have to go and fight. He felt much more comfortable having her beside him, and being able to keep an eye on her. Persival relaxed a little and kept his eyes trained on the treasury building.

Monitoring the situation didn't last long enough for Persival. A few creeplings emerged from the sewer to the left of the treasury and made their way into the building. Persival nudged Empress with his nose and pointed with his wing at what he wanted his mistress to see.

Empress felt Persival nudge her, and she looked in the direction he was pointing to. She saw the creeplings heading towards the building. Empress grinned and said, "With Caliber and Razor nowhere in sight, it is up to us, Persival, to keep T-Bone safe from those creeplings. Care to give me a lift and then take care of some bad guys?"

Persival turned to his mistress and just glared at her for a minute while thinking, "This is not what I wanted at all. I just wanted to keep my mistress safe and away from harm. Now she wants to dive right into danger. What has gotten into her?" He sighed, knowing that it was better not to argue with her, and replied, "Very well, Milady, but I am not going to leave your side for a minute. If there is any danger, I will handle it. You are not to lift a finger. Otherwise, your grandmother will have a fit, and I don't want to be on the receiving end of it."

Empress was now frowning. She had her paws on her hips, and stood with one leg slightly in front of the other. She did not look happy at all. Actually, she looked real mad. Empress barked, more or less, "Persival, if you or Callista think I am just going to sit by and do nothing while everyone else gets to kick tail, you have another thing coming. I am more than capable of handling myself in a fight. Understand?" She punctuated her last sentence by shoving her fist, surrounded in a bright red glow, in Persival's face.

Persival backed down. He didn't want to get on Empress' bad side, either, since she could be as vindictive as Callista was. He said, "Very well, mistress, but if you get hurt, you are going to have to answer to your grandmother, not me." Reluctantly Persival said, "Get on and hang onto something."

Empress got onto Persival's back and placed her arms around his neck. Persival spread his wings and took off from the rooftop. After a few seconds of flight, they landed in front of the treasury building. Empress got off of Persival, and they both took up defensive stances in front of the building, blocking the creeplings from entering.

The creeplings took one look at Persival and started to run in the other direction. They had no intention of dealing with a very large, winged puma. As they were running, Empress pointed both her paws at the creeplings and willed them to stop dead in their tracks. The creeplings stopped and didn't move another inch. Empress said to Persival, "That wasn't too bad." Then she heard sirens in the background and told Persival, "You had better go hide somewhere, and thank you."

Persival replied to his mistress, "You did well. Your grandmother will be very proud of you." He took off somewhere out of sight.

The first wave of the Enforcers arrived and took both the creeplings that Empress had captured, as well as the ones Caliber and Razor had rounded up earlier. Empress turned around and walked back to her Cyclotron and waited for the TurboKat to take off from the roof.

The files with the codes embedded in them took much longer to copy over to the flash drive than T-Bone thought it should. He started to get impatient as he watched the process bar fill with painful slowness.

Katerina saw how anxious T-Bone was getting. She said to him, "Why don't you go and make sure that the Enforcers don't come barging in here and mess up the plan?"

T-Bone replied as he walked out of the server room, "Alright, Katerina. Just make it quick. I don't want to be in this building any longer than I have to."

Katerina watched him disappear into the stairwell. She turned back towards the terminal and continued waiting for the files to finish copying. After about three more minutes, the process was complete. Katerina removed the flash drive and ran back to T-Bone, who was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairwell.

T-Bone heard the clicking of Katerina's heels coming towards him. He turned toward her and pulled her into a hug. He said to her, "Ready to get back? We don't want to keep Dark Kat waiting, do we?"

"No we don't. The sooner we get this file back, the sooner I can get my life back," Katerina said as she pulled out of T-Bone's embrace.

They ran back up the stairs to the roof. T-Bone opened the door first and looked around, just to make sure that there were no surprises waiting for them. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, he took Katerina's paw in his and ran back to the TurboKat. He helped her into the jet, then he jumped into the pilot's seat, strapped himself in, and started the engines. Once the engines were up to speed, T-Bone set the controls for a vertical takeoff and pushed the throttles forward, causing the TurboKat to lift off. As soon as the TurboKat had enough clearance around it, T-Bone spun the jet 180 degrees and took off into the sky, heading back towards the wharf and Dark Kat's impending doom.
