Scene: Exterior, Dreamland Streets*
The bustling streets of Dreamland lay quietly under the twilight sky. Kirby, Tiff, and Tuff are seen walking alongside the Dream Friends and Dream Squad, discussing their latest adventure. The atmosphere is light and cheerful until Marx begins to raise his voice, clearly agitated.*
Marx: (Angrily) You know what? I don't need any of this! I don't want your pity or your help!
Tension rises among the group as they halt, taken aback by Marx's sudden outburst.*
Magolor: (Concerned) Marx, what's gotten into you? We're just trying to--
Marx: (Interrupting, shouting) Save it, Magolor! I'm out of here!
Without another word, Marx dramatically turns, his cape flaring out, and storms off into the dimming light of the streets. The rest of the group exchanges worried glances but hesitates to follow.*
Scene: Marx Walking Alone on the Street*
The sounds of Dreamland's nightlife fill the silence left by Marx's departure. Engulfed in his own thoughts and frustrations, Marx fails to notice the approaching car.*
Marx: (To himself) I wish a car would hit me, honestly...
Almost as if on cue, King Dedede's iconic car comes into view, and due to a moment of distraction, collides with Marx.*
Scene: Dreamland Hospital Room*
The screen fades from black to reveal Marx slowly regaining consciousness in a hospital bed, bandaged but alive. King Dedede, Kirby, and some of the Dream Friends and Dream Squad, including Susie, Magolor, and Adeleine Ribbon, are gathered around, filled with concern.*
King Dedede: (Guilt-ridden) Marx, buddy, I am so, so sorry! I didn't see ya there!
Marx: (Weakly, surprised) What... What happened?
Tiff: (Gently) You were hit by King Dedede's car. We were all so worried about you!
Tuff: Yeah, you scared us!
Marx: (Sighing) I... I guess I got what I wished for, didn't I?
The room falls silent, the gravity of Marx's words weighing heavily.*
Susie: (Softly) Marx, we understand you were upset, but there's no problem too big that we can't work through together.
Magolor: That's right. We're more than just allies; we're friends. And friends stick together, no matter what.
Marx: (Tears welling up) I... I didn't mean what I said. I just felt so overwhelmed and thought...
Adeleine: (Interrupting) It's okay, Marx. Everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes. But hurting yourself is never the answer.
Kirby: (Cheerfully) Poyo! (Kirby offers Marx a comforting smile.)
Marx: (Smiling weakly) Thanks, everyone. I'm sorry for causing such a fuss. I guess I have a lot to think about.
King Dedede: (Cheerfully) Well, when you're feeling up to it, I'll make it up to ya! How about a race in my car? I'll make sure not to hit ya this time!
Laughter fills the room, easing the tension and warming the atmosphere. The Dream Friends and Dream Squad gather closer, sharing in the relief of Marx's recovery.*
Marx: (Gratefully) Thank you, everyone. I'm lucky to have friends like you.
The scene fades with the group sharing stories and laughter, reinforcing their bonds and reminding each other of the power of friendship and understanding.*
Fade out.*
