[Scene opens in the peaceful meadows of Dream Land. Kirby is casually strolling when Magolor accidentally casts a protective charm, mistakenly targeting his friends instead of a foe.]
Magolor* (*sheepishly*) Oh, I was aiming for that naughty Noddy over there… not you, Kirby!
Taranza* No harm done, I suppose? How does the spell work, Magolor?
Magolor* It kind of makes everyone overly protective… of Kirby.
[Cut to Tiff and Tuff rushing towards Kirby, fussing over him.]
Tiff* Oh, Kirby! You shouldn't be wandering alone. What if something happens?
Tuff* Yeah, let's make sure you're safe!
Kirby* Poyo? (Kirby looks confused but amused.)
[Suddenly, everyone begins to crowd around Kirby; Adeleine even paints a protective circle around him.]
Adeleine* Stay inside here, Kirby. It's for your safety!
Kirby* Poyo! (A bit pleased.)
Susie* We can't be too cautious. I'll craft some gadgets to monitor his health!
Tuff* And I'll stand guard!
Kirby* (Giggles)
[As time passes, Kirby starts to feel suffocated by their constant attention. Marx floats in, juggling some colorful orbs.]
Marx* Hey, Kirby! Want to see what I can do?
Kirby* Poyo... (nods hesitantly)
Dark Meta Knight* (*interjects*) Marx, what if those orbs are too bright for him? Besides, he doesn't need any more stimulation.
Kirby* (Frowning now) Poyo...
[Everyone continues to hover over him. Kirby tries eating some cake, but Ms. Chalice jumps in.]
Ms. Chalice* Oh, let me cut that for you. We wouldn't want you getting a tummy ache from eating too fast!
Kirby* Poyo! (Starting to look upset.)
[Elline and Drawcia start crafting magical barriers around Kirby. He tries to walk away, but they extend the barriers.]
Kirby* Poyo poyo! (Clearly annoyed.)
Mugman* Maybe he wants to play? Let's get some soft toys!
Kirby* Poyo!! (Angry.)
[Cuphead, noticing Kirby's frustration, whispers to Magolor.]
Cuphead* Hey Magolor, don't you think we should undo this spell? Kirby doesn't seem very happy.
Magolor* I think you might be right. I'll reverse it immediately.
[Magolor waves his hands, muttering a spell. The protective field and everyone's overbearing attitude vanish.]
Kirby* (Relieved) Poyo! POYO!
Tiff* Kirby, were we... too much?
Kirby* Poyo poyo. (Nods vigorously.)
Tuff* Sorry, Kirby. We got carried away.
Kirby* (Smiles) Poyo!
[Everyone laughs, realizing their mistake. They join Kirby sitting on the grass, enjoying a more relaxed day.]
Galacta Knight* Looks like the best protection is letting you just be you, Kirby.
Kirby* Poyo poyo! (Cheerfully agrees.)
