Episode 82: Babying Kirby*

[The scene opens in Dream Land, where Kirby and his friends Tiff, Tuff, and the Dream Friends are gathered. Suddenly, a strange, sparkling dust floats through the air, sprinkled by an unseen magical entity. As the dust settles on the group, they begin to act unusually.]

Tuff* (cooing) Oh, look at little Kirby! Isn't he just the cutest?

Tiff* (smiling widely) He absolutely is! We need to take extra good care of him!

Susie* Yes, let's prepare a soft, comfortable play area for Kirby!

Magolor* And how about some gentle lullabies? I can create them with my magic!

Kirby* (confused) Poyo? Poyo!

[The Dream Friends begin arranging a ridiculously cushy and babyish setting, complete with oversized plush toys, blankets, and a small fenced area. Kirby is slightly amused at first, enjoying the attention and comfort.]

Kirby* (giggling) Poyo! Poyo!

Marx* Aw, look at him! He loves it! Who's a good boy? Kirby's a good boy!

Adeleine* (painting) I'll draw some cheerful clouds and stars around here. It'll be like a dream!

[As the overprotectiveness continues, Kirby starts to feel stifled. His friends are constantly hovering, adjusting his hat, fluffing pillows, and shushing each other to keep the noise down.]

Kirby* (annoyed) Poyo! Poyo poyo!

Dark Meta Knight* (sternly) Shh, we shouldn't let him get upset. Stress isn't good for babies.

Shadow Kirby* (nodding) Mhm, he needs constant supervision.

[Kirby tries to sneak away to find some peace, but Taranza gently picks him up and places him back in the play area.]

Taranza* Where do you think you're going, little one? It's too risky out there for you.

Kirby* (frustrated) Poyo! Poyo poyo!

Ribbon* Maybe he needs a nap? I'll rock him to sleep.

Kirby* (exasperated) Poyo!!

[Enter the Dream Squad - Cuphead, Mugman, Ms. Chalice, accompanied by Billie and Fantoccio, who notice the overbearing scene.]

Cuphead* What in the world is going on here?

Ms. Chalice* Looks like they're babying Kirby. He doesn't seem to be enjoying it anymore.

Mugman* (chuckling) Maybe it's time for an intervention?

Billie* (approaching the group) Hey, everyone! I think Kirby can handle a bit more freedom, don't you think?

Fantoccio* Indeed, my friends! Let's put on a show to distract everyone and give Kirby a break!

[Billie and Fantoccio begin a playful, distracting performance, complete with juggling and humorous acts, drawing the attention of Kirby's overprotective friends away from him while Ms. Chalice discreetly talks to Kirby.]

Ms. Chalice* Hey, Kirby, you want to join us for a little adventure away from all... this?

Kirby* (relieved and excited) Poyo!! Poyo!

Tiff* What's happening? Oh, are we being too overbearing?

Magolor* It appears we may have been. Perhaps we should let Kirby decide what he needs.

Kirby* (happily jumping) Poyo poyo!

[The scene ends with everyone laughing and playfully chasing Kirby, who now happily leads them on a fun-filled adventure across Dream Land, clearly back in control.]
