This is the last chapter before some major changes start.

Under the watchful eyes of Katerina, Felina started stretching out the pizza dough Callie and Sarah had bought earlier that afternoon. Despite her lack of knowledge in the kitchen, Felina was actually having fun working the dough working the dough into the traditional round shape. With a smile on her face and her paws coated in flour, she said, "These pizzas aren't going to make themselves. I count at least five of you who could actually help make dinner." Then another idea crossed her mind, and she asked, "How about we have a contest to see which couple can make the best pizza? Sarah can be the judge, and be on whichever team she wants!"
"That does sound like fun, Felina!" Katerina enthused as she looked around for Tina. "Now, if only my fiancée were here, I could show you all how to make the best pizza you have ever eaten or at least I hope so."
As if on cue, Tina and Mark entered the kitchen, and Mark asked, "What did my kid sister and I miss?"
Seeing her fiancé walk in, Lisa quickly made her way to him, kissing Mark before answering, "Felina has just challenged all the couples to a pizza making contest where Sarah gets to be the judge."
"Oh really?" Mark asked as he encircled Lisa's waist with his left arm. He then said, "We had better come up with an idea for a pizza that will make our friends' pizzas look and taste horrible. But before we get started, Callie; Lisa and I have a favor to ask."
Callie was sitting in Chance's lap with her head resting on his left shoulder. She lifted her head at the sound of Mark's request and said, "Sure, Mark. What can I do for you?"
"Lisa and I want to get married tonight. We love each other so much, we don't want to be apart ever again," Mark said as he hugged Lisa tighter.
"As much as I would love to, Mark, I can't marry you two. Besides, aren't you two already planning an elaborate wedding a couple of months from now?" Callie asked.
"Yes, we do, and my father is going to be one to oversee the ceremony. However, like Mark said, we don't want to wait anymore. I want to marry him as soon as possible. So if we could get married tonight, we would love it," Lisa replied.
Tina had already gone to Katerina's side and pulled her tight against her small frame. She then said, "Our big brother is getting married!"
"Big brother?" Katerina asked. "He is not related to us, my love. Why do you call him our big brother?"
Tina let out a small giggle and replied, "Just a little while ago, he told me that he thinks of you and me as little sisters, and he loves us as such. Hence why I called him our big brother."
"That makes sense, Tina. Mark would make an awesome big brother to us and the rest of SWAT," Katerina said.
Callie quickly kissed Chance before going to retrieve her phone from her purse, which she had left in the living room. With a few swipes of her finger and a couple of button pushes, she found the name and phone number of the town's Mayor. She pressed the 'Call' button on her phone and waited for an answer.
On the other side of town, the mayor and his wife were silently eating dinner when the phone rang. The mayor's wife got up out of her seat, went into the kitchen, and answered, "Hello, Mayor Radburn's residence."
"Good evening, this is Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs of MegaKat City. Can I speak with Mayor Radburn, please?" Callie asked.
"Sure, please hold on," the mayor's wife said. She put the phone down and went to get her husband. Once she was back in the dining room, she said, "Dear, the Deputy Mayor of MegaKat City is on the phone. She wants to talk to you."
The Mayor put his fork down, got out of his seat, and went into the kitchen. He picked up the receiver and asked, "Deputy Mayor Briggs, to what do I owe the pleasure of this phone call?"
"Mayor Radburn, I have a large favor to ask of you," Callie said.
"What can a small town mayor do for you?" Mayor Radburn asked.
"I have two friends that want to get married tonight, and I was wondering if you would be willing to marry them," Callie said.
"With all due respect, Miss Briggs, it's Saturday evening and I have had a long day," Mayor Radburn said.
"Mayor, I know it's late, but my friends really want to get married tonight, and you are the only one who can do it. Please consider my request," Callie pleaded.
"I'll consider your request, but tell me, Miss Briggs, why should I interrupt my evening to do this?" Mayor Radburn asked.
Callie scowled and then answered, "Mayor, I'm moving into the house my grandmother gave me. You know, the one with the large gates in front that is worth about a million dollars? My friends have bought the house next door, and I have several other friends who are going to be looking for homes of their own. With all of us moving into your quaint and peaceful town, I wish for them to meet the town's benevolent mayor and have him marry two of my best friends. "
"Deputy Mayor Briggs, I appreciate your kind words. Even though I am tired and I will be extending my abilities as mayor, I will marry your friends as you requested. Please have them ready in two hours. See you soon," he said and disconnected the call.
Callie calmly hung up the phone as she said, "I'm glad that he agreed to marry Mark and Lisa even though it's a gross overextension of his mayoral powers. Now I have to convince Persival and Isis, as well as Sarah's dragon, to stay out of sight while he is here. How am I going to do that?"
Persival and Isis walked up the back stairs of Jake and Felina's house after they discovered that no one was home at Callie's. They found a nice, clear spot on the porch and lay down next to each other. Their tails almost instantly intertwined as they watched the moon rise over the ocean.
Isis let out a deep purr and then asked, "Persival, what do you think the future has in store for our cubs?"
Persival lifted his head, turned to her, and replied, "To be honest, I have no idea. What I do know is that they will be loved by their masters and mistresses."
"That is good to know, Persival. I would hate to find out that our cubs were not in good homes," Isis said.
"I would never let that happen! Our cubs will be either be in Callista's, her granddaughter's, or in the service of their friends. I guarantee they will be loved," Persival said.
Isis placed a comforting paw on his before she said, "Easy, love. Our mistress' friends will be great masters to our cubs. You have seen the way they act around us, as well as the kitten called Sarah. They are a tightly knit family who love each other to no end, and that love will extend to our cubs."
Sarah's dragon decided that it had rested long enough.. It lifted its head and let out a small screech just before flapping its wings and taking off from Persival's back.
Both Persival and Isis watched as the tiny dragon took flight and headed towards the door that led to the kitchen.
The small dragon flew towards the kitchen door and looked inside. The dragon noticed its young mistress sitting on a stool next to several older cats, all with large smiles on their faces. It tapped on the door frame with its clawed foot in an attempt to gain the attention of someone so it could enter the house.
Lisa was cuddled up with Mark on a stool, sitting on the opposite side of the island from Sarah. She heard someone or something tapping on the door that led to the backyard. She got up from her perch and went to the door. Lisa looked out of the screen door and noticed a tiny, flying lizard tapping on the door with its foot. She then let out a bloodcurdling scream, which caused everyone in the kitchen to run to her.
Mark swept Lisa up in his arms and asked, "What is wrong, Lisa?"
Lisa cowered into Mark and pointed towards the door before she answered, "I know this is a very magical family. However, a flying.. whatever that is.. is too much!"
"What are you talking about, love?" Mark asked. He then turned his head towards the door in order to find out what she was talking about. He saw Sarah's dragon at the door, let out a small chuckle, and said, "Lisa, dear, you have nothing to be afraid of." He opened the door and let the dragon into the kitchen.
The dragon entered and landed on Lisa's left shoulder. It then curled up and went to sleep.
Mark watched as the tiny dragon landed on Lisa's shoulder and fell asleep. He said, "My dear, that little creature resting comfortably on your shoulder is a dragon and it belongs to Sarah."
"Sarah's what?" Lisa asked. "Dragons don't exist!" She then looked down at the creature sleeping on her shoulder and more calmly asked, "Seriously, what is it?"
Sarah came over to them, pulled on Lisa's shirt, and answered, "That is my dragon! Isn't it cute, Lisa?"
Lisa couldn't deny that the tiny red creature comfortably resting on her shoulder was a little cute, just as Sarah had said. She slowly reached over to the dragon with her paw and lightly petted it. Upon feeling Lisa's gentle touch, it let out a small puff of smoke from its mouth and what sounded like a purr. She withdrew her paw, and said without removing her focus from the dragon, "Alright, it's a dragon. So now what? I let it sleep on my shoulder until it wakes up?" She slowly lowered herself to Sarah's level and asked, "Would you mind removing it from my shoulder?"
Sarah carefully removed the dragon from Lisa's shoulder and cuddled it into her chest.
The dragon woke when she did that, looked into its young mistress' eyes, and said what could only be interpreted as, "Mama."
Sarah's mouth dropped open as she cuddled the dragon tighter to her body. She then exclaimed, "Did you hear that? The dragon called me Mama!"
Katerina wrapped her arms around Tina and said, "That dragon is one smart creature. It already knows who its adoptive mother is, and can speak, too."
"Yes, it is, Katerina. I only wish I knew if it was a boy or a girl. I feel sort of silly calling it 'dragon' or 'it' every time," Sarah said.
"I'm not a nurse or a doctor, Sarah. However, when I was the commander of a very elite fighting force of she-cats, I had to patch up several of my subordinates. I might be able to figure it out for you," Katerina said, just before she kissed Tina, then went over to Sarah and the dragon. She got down on one knee, reached out to the dragon, and calmly said, "Come here, little one. I won't hurt you."
The dragon turned its head and looked at Katerina. It backed up slightly and got into a defensive position, slightly extending its wings.
Sarah noticed the way the dragon was acting towards Katerina and said, "Be nice, dragon. She won't hurt you."
The dragon relaxed its posture and turned its head towards its adoptive mother before letting out a screech.
Katerina took that opportunity to take hold of the dragon and turn it over in her paw. She quickly examined the dragon's lower half, then put it back on Sarah's shoulder. "Well, I am happy to tell you that you are the parent of a boy dragon!" Katerina said.
"It's a boy!" Sarah exclaimed. "Welcome to the family, Inferno!"
Callie came back into the kitchen and heard Sarah's joyful screaming. She went to Sarah and said, "Inferno sounds like a wonderful name, Sarah!" Callie lifted her head to Mark and Lisa before she said, "I have spoken to the mayor. He is going to be here in a couple of hours to marry you two."
Mark was now happier than he had ever been in his life because he was he was going to marry the she-cat that had not only captivated every fiber of his being, but ever since he'd met her, he felt that she was his soulmate, and they were destined to be together. Mark picked her up in his strong arms, lifted her into the air, and said, "We are going to be married, Lisa! I'm so happy I could cry."
Lisa was also ecstatic that she was finally going to be married to Mark. She had a smile on her face a mile wide, and eventually said through bouts of laughter and tiny twinges of pain, "Mark, please put me down."
Mark slowly lowered her to the ground, but did not remove his paws from her waist.
Lisa brushed his cheek with her left paw and said, "Mark, baby, I know you are very happy to be marrying me, but throwing me around is not helping my shoulder heal."
Mark's infectious smile left his face when it hit him that he might have hurt Lisa, and that was the very last thing he ever wanted to do.
"Mark, you didn't hurt me, so don't be mad at yourself. I love you, Mark, and I want you to always be the happy tom I met years ago," Lisa said without removing her paw from his face. She then said, "In a few short hours, you and I are going to be husband and wife for the rest of our lives, and I can't wait to say those two little words that will bind our lives together forever."
"Oh Lisa, the thought of me hurting you even unintentionally is too much to bear. You are my wife, or at least you will be, and seeing you in pain makes me feel that I am not doing enough to keep you safe," Mark said. He brought his paw up to caress her face and let a smile creep across his again before he said, "I also can't wait to say the same two words that will unite our lives together."
"You two are getting married in a few hours!" Sarah screamed.
Both Mark and Lisa turned their heads towards Sarah, and Mark answered, "Yes, Sarah. Thanks to Callie, we are going to be married tonight."
Sarah ran to them and did her best to hug both of them as she said, "I'm so happy for the both of you!" Then Sarah looked at the pizza dough sitting on the counter waiting to be turned into something delicious and asked, "Does this mean we can't have our contest?"
Mark let go of Lisa, grabbed Sarah around her waist, and lifted her into the air so she could look into his eyes. He then answered, "Of course we are going to have our contest, Sarah. We still need to eat, and prove that Lisa and I can make the best pizza there is.. compared to my little sisters' pizza, that is."
"You think that your pizza is going to be better than mine and Katerina's, Mark?" Tina asked with her paws firmly placed on her cocked hips. "Would you care to back that statement up with a little side bet, big brother?"
"What do you have in mind, Tina?" Mark asked.
Tina held her right index finger to her cheek and said, "I was thinking that the losers have to wash the TurboKat, the TurboKat 2, and the Cyclotrons for a week, wearing nothing but a swimsuit."
Mark thought about it for a brief second and answered without discussing the matter with Lisa, "You're on, Tina. However, to sweeten the pot, the winner gets to pick out the swimsuit and watch the losing team work while they get to sit back in a chaise lounge with a cold drink."
"You have a bet!" Tina said. "I hope you like water, because you and Lisa are going to be seeing a lot of it as you both scrub those jets!"
"Now wait a minute, you two! Katerina and I.." Lisa started to state, but was interrupted by Mark with, "The only water my paws are going to see is the cold water from the cooler, Tina." He put Sarah down, grabbed Lisa by her good arm, and said as he led her towards the counter, "Come on, dear. We have a masterpiece to make."
Tina quickly went to Katerina, grabbed her arm, and pulled her towards the opposite side of the counter. She then said, "I hope you know how to make a pizza, love."
Katerina looked down at the dough in front of her and asked, "What is a pizza?"
Tina quickly turned her head towards her and asked, "You don't know what a pizza is? Really?"
Katerina just stood there and shook her head in response.
Tina's face fell when she saw Katerina's response. She then said, "Great, I was counting on your superb skills in the kitchen to trump our big brother." She looked at the rest of the couples and saw they were already assembling their pizzas. She noticed that Jake and Felina had more flour on their clothing than on the dough, and Callie and Chance were too busy holding and kissing each other rather than focusing on the pizza they were supposed to be making. Tina turned her head to Mark and Lisa, only to see that they both had smiles on their faces and already had the cheese spread out on their dough. She then said to Katerina, "You are going to learn what a pizza is right now, my love, and it will be the best thing that you have ever eaten!"
All the couples were diligently working on making the best pizza they could, except for Chance and Callie. They had made a simple pizza, and were now busy feeding each other the rest of the toppings at their station.
Tina quickly showed Katerina the basics of how to make a pizza, and told her to add toppings that she thought would taste good together.
Katerina looked at the pizza toppings displayed in front of her as ideas formed in her head. She grabbed a bunch of anchovies, as well as garlic and pineapple, and spread them out on the raw pizza. Katerina then added another layer of cheese, followed by some fresh basil.
As Katerina made her pizza, everyone else had finished making theirs put them into a large, wall-mounted double oven to cook.
While her pizza cooked, Callie went over to Persival and Isis, and said, "Persival, Isis, I have a favor to ask."
"What can we do for you, milady?" Persival asked.
"The mayor will be here in about an hour and a half. I highly doubt that he is prepared to see you two, as well as a dragon. Can you both stay here with Inferno while Mark and Lisa get married?"
"Mistress, as much as we want to see our friends getting married, we understand and will remain here for the duration of the mayor's stay," Persival replied.
"Thank you both. I owe you," Callie said, and went back to Chance.
After Callie left them, Persival turned his head to Isis and said, "Just because we have to stay out of sight, doesn't mean we can't witness our friends getting married. I know that house better than my young mistress, so I know the perfect place to witness their union without being spotted."
Isis looked at her mate, her eyes wide with surprise. She then said, "I didn't know you had a single devious bone in your body, my dear. Although, I do like your idea. Shall we get Inferno and head over to the other house so we can take up our hiding places?"
"Not quite yet. I want to see who wins the little side bet, my love, and haven't you ever heard the saying 'don't cross a black cat'?" Persival asked. "Well, I am the biggest black cat you are ever going to meet, so I know how to get what I want."
"Who would have thought that my mate, the ever loyal guardian to the queen, would have an evil streak in him?" Isis mused.
"No, my love. Not evil, just determined. Besides, I love weddings. The last one I went to was Serena's. She was my mistress' daughter. She looked so beautiful in her gown that I actually cried. I hope I get to witness my young mistress's union to Chance. She is going to be just as beautiful as her mother was," Persival said.
"Aren't you the big romantic at heart," Isis said just before she kissed him. She turned her head, and saw the pizzas coming out of the oven, then being sliced. It's time for the judging. I wonder which couple is going to win," she then asked.
Jake removed all of the pizzas from the oven and put them on large, round trays laid out on the kitchen counter. He grabbed a pizza cutter from one of the drawers and started slicing the pizzas. After he finished, he said, "Sarah, please come here and pick the best-tasting pizza out of the four."
Sarah went over to the counter and climbed up onto one of the stools. She looked over the pizzas in front of her and asked, "Can I make this a blind taste test? I don't want to know whose pizza I am tasting."
"Alright, Sarah," Jake responded, and grabbed a cloth napkin. He put it around Sarah's eyes and grabbed a random slice from one of the pies. "Here you go. This is pizza number one."
Sarah lifted the slice in her paws and took a tentative bite. She chewed, swallowed, then said, "Not bad. Can I have the next slice, please?"
"Sure, this is pizza number two," Jake said.
Sarah lifted the slice to her mouth and took a bite. She started to chew, and then quickly asked, "Can I get some water?"
Felina filled a glass with some water from the refrigerator and handed it to her.
"Thank you," Sarah said and took a drink. "I don't know who made that one, but it was too salty."
Chance took a look at the pizza and noticed it was his and Callie's. He shrugged his shoulders and went back to nibbling on Callie's neck.
"Here is the third pizza, Sarah," Jake said before he went over to Chance and whispered, "Do you really want Sarah to see you making out with Callie?"
Chance stopped what he was doing long enough to say, "She is wearing a blindfold, so she won't see a thing. I'll stop just before we take it off of her, but for right now, I'm enjoying myself."
Sarah ate the slice, then said, "That one was delicious! Can I have the final slice?"
Jake served her the final slice, and noticed it was his and Felina's.
Sarah took a bite of the slice. She chewed the pizza and swallowed before she took a sip of water. Sarah then said, "I know which pizza tastes the best, and that pizza is.. pizza number three!"
Tina and Katerina's faces sank when Sarah announced the winner and it wasn't them. Tina asked, "So, whose pizza won?"
Jake looked over at the pizzas and saw that it wasn't his, either. He then said, "The winners are.. Lisa and Mark."
Mark grinned from ear-to-ear, and exclaimed as he thrust his fist in the air, "Yes!" he brought his arm back down to his side, turned to Tina, and said, "Have fun washing the jets, ladies. Now I wonder what type of bathing suits I should have you two sport?"
Lisa hit him in the arm and said, "Be nice, dear."
"Oh, I plan on being nice, Lisa," Mark said. Then he narrowed his eyes and said, "Very nice."
Tina hugged Katerina and said, "We tried our best, love. So what did you put on the pizza, anyhow?"
Katerina kissed her and then replied, "You told me to make it taste good to me, so I made it the way I wanted. I used lots of anchovies and garlic, as well as some pineapple for zing."
"That explains it! No kitten is going to eat pineapple on a pizza. Oh well. At least we got to make our first dinner together, and I loved every minute of it," Tina said.
"I loved making it with you, too, Tina. Someday, I hope to be making dinner for you, and maybe our kitten. With all this talk of kittens, it has made me want to have one of my very own. However, I only want to have them with you, Tina," Katerina said.
Mark let go of Lisa and went to Katerina and Tina. He put his arms around them and said, "I have the perfect swimsuits in mind for you two to wear while washing the jets. Don't worry though; all of your important parts will be covered, although they will be sexy as hell!"
Katerina's eyes never left Tina's as she said, "Sexy as hell, you say? Hmm. I might like seeing my fiancée in a bathing suit like that."
Tina stroked Katerina's face and said, "You will look good to in that swimsuit, too. I might not be able to keep my paws off of you."
Mark removed his paws from them and slapped his forehead before he said, "What have I done? I have created two hot, female monsters!"
