Thanks to all that have stayed with this story for, get this, over two years! Its been a long journey that is not ending anytime soon. We still have to deal with David before the SWAT crew can really relax.

After Callista and Ulysses personally thanked everyone of their guests, Callista encircled her left arm around her husband's waist and walked out of sight with her husband in tow.
Once they were around the corner of the house, she asked, "Ready for our honeymoon dear?"
"Yes my queen but where are we going?" He asked in return.
"Someplace magical, where we can be treated like royalty," She responded while running her finger through his hair.
"I'd be happy anywhere, as long as I am with you Callista," he said before kissing her paw.
"Alright then, here we go," She said as she raised her paw high in the air and teleported them back into the Dark Ages.
Callie went to go look for her grandmother so she could find out more about her heritage. However, she could not find her or Ulysses anywhere. Callie entered the kitchen and did find a note with her name clearly written on the envelope in large letters attached to the refrigerator with a small magnet. She went over to the refrigerator, removed the note, opened the envelope, and pulled out the piece of folded paper inside. Callie unfolded the paper and read, 'Callie, I'm sure you have plenty of questions about what occurred today, because I probably have those same questions too. We will figure out the answers together when I return from my honeymoon with Ulysses. Don't try to find us because you won't be able to, unless you can time travel. I have taken him back to the Dark Ages when I was a queen. Your new grandfather is going to have a blast riding on the back of Esmeralda. I only hope he is not afraid of dragons. We'll be back in two weeks. Meanwhile, have Sarah and Evelyn watch over my shop, with your help of course. Grandma.' Callie put the note down on the counter and said, "Go have fun grandma, you deserve it." She then left the kitchen to join her fiancé out on the makeshift dance floor.
David was looking out of one of the many windows that lined his bedroom. He was trying to reach out and feel Callista's aura, but failed. He returned to the small desk in his room and picked up the news paper that was siting on the corner of his desk. David opened the paper and for some reason, flipped the pages to the Local news section. He started reading the page, then dropped the paper to the ground in shock of what he read. He stared down at the article facing him and read the headline again, 'Commander of the Enforcers is to marry the love of his life later today.' Below the headline was a picture of Ulysses holding Callista tightly in his arms, kissing the other. David balled up his fists, then said, "So my dear, you married the Commander in order to try and get away from me. Sorry my queen, but your little rouse is not going to work. One way or another, you will be mine. Enjoy your honeymoon, because once you return, you and I have a date and your new husband just might end up in a box." David grabbed the paper, wadded it up in his paws, and threw it in the fire place. While he watched it burn, he beaconed, "Guard!"
One of the guards standing outside of his door opened the door and stuck his head in before he asked, "What can I do for you?"
David turned to him and answered, "I need to see Angel, bring her to me now."
"I apologize sir, but she is not on the premises," the guard said.
"What!?" David snapped.
"She didn't show up for roll call this morning and when we went to search her room, we noticed it hasn't been used for days," the guard replied.
David got up, went to the guard and spat, "Find her and bring her back. I will not tolerate her insubordination, she is to be severely punished for leaving, do you understand!?"
"Yes sir," the guard answered and left David to stir in his anger while he passed David's orders to the rest of the guards.
David was now fuming with anger. Not only did Callista go and marry Ulysses but the she-cat he used to take out his frustrations with has gone missing as well. Not knowing what to do, he crossed over his bedroom and removed a .44 caliber pistol from the middle drawer of his dresser. He slipped it into the waistband of his pants and left his room.
Artemis watched the entire ceremony from he bedroom in the house. She desperately wanted to be part of the celebration but was warned by Callista there were going to be several Enforcers attending and it would be in her best interests to stay out of sight until this whole mess with David and the murders she committed on his behalf was cleared up. She watched as several couples danced on the floor in the middle of the yard while a DJ played some fast moving tune. Since she was sitting at a window with a large sill, she had her back leaning against the right side of the window frame while her right foot was perched on the sill, tapping the sill in time with the music.
Lisa was dancing with Mark on the dance floor when she happened to look up at the house and noticed Artemis looking down at the yard. She also noticed the way her foot was tapping in time with the music as well as the sad expression on Artemis' face. Lisa returned her focus back to Mark who felt a change in his fiancée's body. He leaned forward and asked, "Lisa, dear, what is troubling you?"
"Mark, there is something we need to do. Come with me into the house," Lisa replied as she led Mark back into the house. She guided him through the the house and to the bedroom where Artemis was staying. Lisa put her paws on Mark's shoulders, kissed him, deeply, and said, "You and I have something to take care of behind this door."
Mark's face lit up because he thought that Lisa wanted to fool around with him. He opened the door, bowed to Lisa, and said, "After you, my ever so sexy and frisky fiancée."
Lisa entered the room, followed my Mark and when he closed and locked the door behind him, he looked up and saw a slender she-cat with wavy light brown hair wearing a tight white t-shirt and a pair of light blue Capri leggings sitting on the window sill. "Um, Lisa. It seems we have an audience."
Lisa went over to Artemis, pulled her off of the sill, and said, "Mark, this is Artemis. She is my new instructor at the studio and Callista's house guest."
"Hi Artemis," Mark said to her before he turned to Lisa and asked, "Why is she up here and not down at the party Lisa?"
Lisa was about to answer Mark's question, but Artemis answered instead, "Callista told me that there were going to be a lot of Enforcers attending the wedding and if I wanted to remain on this side of bars made of iron, I had better stay out of sight."
Mark shook his head as he tried his best to comprehend what Artemis had just told him but her answer only brought up more questions. He asked, "Why would you think you would be put in jail if my comrades saw you Artemis?"
"I had killed many Mark at the orders of David. I'm sure The Enforcers have a few un-solved murders on their plates that can be traced back to the same MO. David uses the river as a dumping ground for those he had me, and those like me kill for him. I left The Society with the hope that my testimony will help end his reign and keep me away from Death Row. Callista brought me here to start anew and wait until she had a chance to talk to her now husband as well as a very good layer on my behalf," Artemis answered.
Mark turned his head to Lisa and ever so cautiously asked because he already knew her answer and was not going to like it, "Lisa, you knew all of this already?
Lisa crossed her paws in front of her thighs, looked down at the feet, and replied, "Some of it Mark." She looked back into Mark's eyes, then said, "Callista only told me that Artemis had a very rough past and needed a new start. Although she didn't mention the part about Artemis being a murderess for hire."
"What am I supposed to do here Lisa?" Mark asked in frustration as grasped his hair with his paws. He let go of his hair, then spat as he pointed at Artemis, "She is a wanted criminal Lisa! She should be in jail, awaiting trial, not staying in our friend's house being free." He lowered his paw and paced the room for a few seconds before he stopped and said, "We both took an oath to uphold the law Lisa and here we are severely bending it if not breaking it. Lisa, we could be arrested for helping her, then what? You give birth to our kitten while we are in prison? I won't allow that to happen!"
"Mark, don't you think that I know all of that already?" Lisa said as she walked over to Mark, wrapped her arms around him, and said into his chest. "I don't want to be arrested either but Callista told me how Artemis was raped and tortured at the paws of David until her resolve was broken. She was coerced into killing Mark, Artemis deserves another chance at life because the first one sucked and I want to give her that chance." She pulled back from his chest, looked into her fiancé's eyes with her tear stricken ones, and said, "You should see her working with the younger students Mark, Artemis really has a knack for teaching them as well as the teenagers. Since she started at the studio, I have had more students signing up to be taught by her. Artemis may have had a rough past but she has found her calling."
"You both are right," Artemis said. "I have done some very horrible things in the past and I regret every single one of them." She walked over to them and said, "I plan on standing trial for everything I have done and I expect to serve some time behind bars. But I trust Callista has a plan in her mind that will keep me from Death Row and as of now, I don't have any other option than to trust she knows what she is doing."
Mark went over to the bed and sat down. He rested his head in his paws, then asked, "So what do we do now?"
"I have a suggestion, if you don't mind hearing one from a criminal?" Artemis said.
"I'm game, what is it?" Lisa asked.
Artemis went over to Lisa, put her right paw on her left shoulder, then answered, "All three of us dance, very well I might add and there is a raging party happening below us. What do you say about having our own little party, up here, just the three of us?"
Mark lifted his head and asked, "You can't be serious?"
"Yes I am Mark," Artemis answered before she spun away from Lisa and danced across the floor to Mark. She then lifted her right leg high into the air and spun on her left foot. "Come on Mark, feel the music in your bones and move. You know Lisa wants to dance."
Mark took a look at his fiancée and noticed her foot tapping along with the beat the DJ was spinning. He sighed and got off of the bed. Mark went over to Lisa, put both of his paws on her, and said, "If we are going to jail for abetting a criminal, we might as well have fun doing so. Let's dance."
They started to dance like they never danced before. Then Artemis joined them and danced right along with Mark and Lisa.
As Mark danced with both she-cats, he happened to watch Artemis dance and how her moves almost matched Lisa's. He smiled at her and said, "You're good."
"Thank you Mark, and you are not that bad your self," Artemis said.
"Years of practice with a professional dancer as your partner has rubbed of," Mark said. He bumped Lisa's hips with his, then asked, "Right dear?"
Lisa returned the hip bump as she said, "You got that right dear. When we met, you had two left feet. Now look at you, you could almost dance on any stage and pull it off."
Mark grabbed Lisa around the waist and lifted her high in the air. As he lowered her back to the ground, he made sure that her body brushed against his as he said, "I had a very good teacher who is so hot, I could not keep my eyes off of her." When her lips were at the same level as his, he kissed her deeply in front of Artemis.
Lisa wrapped her arms around Mark's neck and tapped his lips with her tongue, begging for entrance which he granted as his paws slid lower on her body and gave her backside a firm squeeze.
Artemis was facing the window listening to the music being played but when the music stopped, she turned around and noticed Mark and Lisa in a passionate kiss and their paws were traveling all over the other's body. Artemis watched the two make out for a few seconds and when Lisa started un-buttoning Mark's shirt, she said, "I can go to another room if you two want to continue."
Lisa broke their shared kiss and rested her head against Mark's for a second before she turned her head to the left towards Artemis and said, "Sorry about that Artemis, ever since I became pregnant with his kitten, my body has been craving his."
"Just as my body craves hers," Mark said.
Artemis went over to the two of them and mocking asked, "Well, we could make it a threesome and all of us can be satisfied?" She then laughed after she spoke, letting Mark and Lisa know she was kidding.
The music started back up again and Artemis started dancing by herself and said, "Shall we continue where we left off before you two had to have a battle of the tongues?"
Lisa separated herself from Mark, walked over to Artemis and started dancing with her. "I think Mark needs to cool off for a minute before he joins us again," Lisa said as she motioned to the very noticeable bulge in Mark's pants.
Mark looked down and covered himself with his paws, then sat down and watched Lisa and Artemis dance.
Tina and Katerina were dancing with Sarah in the center of the dance floor. Sarah was waving her arms in the air and whipping her hair around in time with the music when she noticed her Big Brother and sister were missing. She tugged on Tina's dress and once she had her attention, she motioned for her to come down to her level so she could ask her something.
Tina bent over to Sarah and asked, "What up Sarah?"
"Where are Mark and Lisa? I haven't seen them for over a half an hour," Sarah asked.
Tina righted herself and looked around for them too. When she didn't find them, she lowered herself back down to Sarah and said, "I don't know where they could have gone, would you like to help me find them?"
Sarah's eyes sparkled with joy that she was going to be having fun with her sister finding Mark and Lisa. She happened to look over to Evelyn and noticed she was sitting at a table by herself while her parents danced. Sarah turned back to Tina and asked, "Can Evelyn play too?"
"I don't see why not Sarah, as long as Katerina gets to play too," Tina said before she picked up Sarah in her arms and kissed her right cheek.
Just after Sarah started talking to Tina about making a game out of finding Mark and Lisa, Katerina went over to Evelyn and asked, "Why is such an adorable kitten sitting here by herself?"
Evelyn looked up at Katerina, then answered, "Mommy and daddy are out there dancing." She pointed at where Helen and Michael were dancing on the floor. "They asked me to stay here and wait for them for dinner."
"Let me see what I can do about that Evelyn," Katerina said before she turned around to walk out onto the dance floor in order to ask Michael and Helen if Evelyn could play a little game with them.
Helen had her arms wrapped around her husband's neck while his arms were around her waist. They were dancing to a very slow and romantic song when Helen said, "We haven't danced like this in years Michael. I miss dancing with you."
Michael kissed Helen between her ears, then said, "I miss dancing like this with you too Helen. Now that Evelyn has found a friend she can play with, I will have to take my beautiful wife out on dates more often."
"I'd like that Michael but I don't think that Spencer will let Evelyn out of his sight," Helen said. "He watches over her constantly. I wouldn't be surprised if he is here; somewhere."
Up in the trees that lined the property, a lone winged puma sat high in the branches, watching a certain kitten. His tail ever so often lifted up into the air, then lowered back to its resting position. "Why is my princess sitting by herself when she could be having fun with her knight?" Spencer asked himself. He noticed a slender blonde female walking towards Evelyn and narrowed his eyes, waiting to swoop down and rescue his beloved princess, if necessary and when she walked away after talking with her, Spencer relaxed again.
"Helen, Michael. Can Evelyn play a game with her friends?" Katerina asked.
"I don't see why not Katerina," Helen responded. "Just make sure she is back in time for dinner."
Katerina smiled and said, "Da, she will be back in time to eat her dinner." She turned to head back to Evelyn, but stopped after the first step and said, "Michael, you have lipstick on your left cheek."
Michael wiped the fur on his cheek with the back of his left paw and saw the smudge of bright red lipstick. He reached into his left pants pocket and removed a white handkerchief before wiping the rest of the lipstick from his face, then asked Helen, "How long was that there and why didn't you say anything?"
"I guess its been on your cheek since I kissed you before the wedding and as for why I didn't tell you, it looked good on you. That shade of red is definitely your color," Helen responded before she started laughing.
Michael put the handkerchief back in his pocket before he encircled his arms around Helen's waist, then said, "I'll get even with you tonight, after Evelyn goes to bed. I hope Spencer is a sound sleeper because I plan on making you purr, quite loudly."
Helen returned her arms to his neck then said, "In that case, I'm glad I am already pregnant. My dear." They continued dancing afterwards.
Katerina went back to Evelyn and said, "Your mother said it was alright if you played with us Evelyn. Come on, Tina and Sarah are over by the house, waiting for us."
Evelyn left her seat, walked over to Katerina, and took her right paw in hers before they walked over to the house where Sarah and Tina were patiently waiting.
Just as soon as Sarah saw her friend, she broke free of Tina's grasp, went over to Evelyn, and hugged her. She then said, "We are going to have fun finding Mark and Lisa in this place. There are so many interesting rooms that they could be in and the queen has so much fun stuff all over the house."
"That does sound like fun Sarah, I can practice my magic and probably find them faster," Evelyn said.
"As cool as it would be to see you using your powers again Evelyn, there are too many cats around here that don't know what you can do," Sarah said. "I would really hate for you to be hurt by someone."
"Then we will have to find them the old fashioned way," Evelyn said. "This house is big, it could take us awhile, let's start."
Spencer watched as Sarah and Evelyn entered Callista's house and decided to see what Evelyn was up to. He walked around the branches of the trees, trying not to be scene by the crowd below and eventually made his way to a large tree by an open window. Spencer leaped from the branch he was balancing on and into the house.
The girls split up into teams of two consisting of Katerina and Evelyn and Sarah and Tina. Sarah and Tina went upstairs to search while the others stayed on the first floor.
Katerina and Evelyn entered the kitchen and did a quick sweep before Evelyn hopped up on a kitchen stool and asked, "They're not here, where cold they have gone to?"
"I'm not sure Evelyn," Katerina responded. While she thought of a place where her friends could have gone to, she felt a little thirsty. Katerina looked over to the kitten sitting on the stool and a fun idea came to her. Katerina smiled at Evelyn, then asked, "I'm thirsty, how about a milkshake?"
"Yes! I love milkshakes!" Evelyn said as her tail whipped back and forth rapidly in anticipation.
Katerina already had the blender plugged in and had a gallon on milk in her left paw. She put the milk down to the right of the blender and went over to the freezer to get the ice cream.
Sarah was checking the first bedroom on the second floor while Tina traveled further down the hall.
Sarah closed the door to the bedroom and went to join Tina and help with her search.
Tina heard the music the DJ was playing from the other side of the door she was in front of. She turned the doorknob and opened the door. And as she looked in and saw Lisa dancing real close with another she-cat with light brown hair, wearing a t-shirt and tights. "Well, I'll be. It seems that my sister has a new dance partner, and she is quite a looker. I wonder what my brother would do if he knew Lisa was possibly Bi?"
Sarah caught up to Tina and just saw her lower half on their side of the door. She tugged on Tina's dress and asked, "Did you find them?"
Tina picked Sarah up and cradled her in her arms before she stood and answered, "Yes, I did. Let's go and see them."
Tina opened the door to the bedroom and walked in holding Sarah.
Sarah noticed Mark sitting on the edge of the bed, watching Lisa dance with Artemis and she wiggled out of Tina's arms and ran over to Mark.
Out of the corner of Mark's eye, he noticed a small blur coming towards him. He turned his head and asked, "What the.." as Sarah crashed into him, knocking him back onto the bed. "You look so handsome in your uniform Mark!" Sarah said.
"Why, thank you Sarah, and you look beautiful in your dress too. Can you let me up please?" Mark said.
Sarah quickly hugged Mark before she got off of his chest and let him sit back up.
Mark sat back up and rested his feet on the floor before Sarah sat back down in his lap.
Artemis and Lisa stopped dancing and Lisa turned over to her fiancé and asked, "Are you planning on replacing me with Sarah?"
Mark got off of the bed, holding Sarah in his left arm and went over to Lisa. He picked her up in his right arm, kissed her, then answered, "I do love Sarah Lisa. But I love her like a father would love his daughter. My love for you goes way beyond that and I can't imagine my life without you being my wife."
Lisa wrapped her arms around Mark's neck and she said, "And I love you too, my fiancé." She then kissed him.
Katerina and Evelyn finished their milkshakes and quickly cleaned up their mess in the kitchen. While Katerina washed the blender, Evelyn hugged her and said, "Thank you for the delicious milkshake Katerina."
Katerina put the blender into the drain board, wiped her paws on a dish rag, then returned Evelyn's embrace. She then said, "You're welcome Evelyn. I love milkshakes, they are one of my indulgences that I have every once in a while." She picked up Evelyn in her arms then jokingly said, "I can't have too many or I might lose my girlish figure, then Tina won't love me anymore."
"That will never happen Katerina. Tina loves you so much, you could be as fat as a whale and that would never change the way she feels about you," Evelyn said.
"You're right Evelyn," Katerina said. "Tina would never stop loving me, like I would never stop loving her. Come on, let's go find my fiancée and hopefully; they found Mark and Lisa."
Katerina and Evelyn went up to the second floor peered into the room and saw their friends. They entered the room and Evelyn said, "So this is where everyone is hiding."
Sarah jumped out of Mark's arm and went over to Evelyn before she said, "Come in and dance with us Evelyn." She pulled Evelyn further into the room and started dancing with her.
Katerina went over to Tina, then asked, "Care to dance with me?"
Tina looked up at her beautiful face, and replied, "Oh, yes I do Kat!" Then they started dancing right along with Sarah and Evelyn.
Artemis went over to Lisa and Mark, bumped Mark's hip with her own, and said, "We can't let them have fun without us." And she started dancing.
Mark set Lisa down, put his paws on her hips, and started dancing with her as he said, "Artemis is right Lisa, we can't let have them have all the fun."
Lisa smirked at Mark, then started moving in time with him.
Spencer rounded the corner and looked into the room. As soon as his eyes fell onto Evelyn and noticed how much fun she was having, he said, "My princess definitely can cut a rug." As he watched her, his left front paw tapped in time with the music as well as the tip of his tail flipped back and forth, also in time with his paw.
Evelyn happened to notice Spencer at the door and motioned for him to join in on the fun.
Spencer complied with his request, entered the room, and danced with Sarah and Evelyn.
