Once again, things got in the way of posting last weekend. But, I'm making up for it! Today, I'm posting a new chapter as well as a new story! Wait until you meet Storm. She's sexy, smart, and is going to be Vincent Van Wham's downfall!

Once again, thank you MisaRae for you constant encouragement and helping me when I fall short!

After they all arrived at Callista's, Sarah and Evelyn attended to a few waiting customers who were looking for a few small antiques to adorn their living room.

Chance watched over the two kittens from the back corner of the shop. His eyes were trained on every single move they made and especially the customers to make sure the two girls were safe.

Callie emerged from the backroom after checking on Spencer and Inferno and noticed her fiancé on edge, watching Sarah and Evelyn. She went over to him, placed her left paw on his right shoulder, and said, "They are fine Chance. Remember where we are. Do you really think Callista would allow anything to happen to them while they were here?"

Chance did feel different in the shop this time around. It was like a warm blanket was draped over him, keeping him warm and secure. He responded to Callie after he wrapped his right arm around her waist, "No, she wouldn't. However, something is telling me to keep an eye on them. After all, they are two little girls in a shop where anyone could walk in here and take one of them and I will not allow that to happen."

Callie kissed his cheek, then said, "You worry too much Chance, but it proves you are going to be a great father." She removed her paw and said, "I'm going to go and see what they are up to."

Chance's eyes left Sarah and Evelyn to watch his fiancée's hips sway in the skirt she wore as she walked away to check on the two girls. "How the heck did I manage to get the most beautiful she-cat in the city to marry me I'll never know." He then watched her bend over to help Evelyn grab a trinket from one of the display cases and said, "Damn, she still can make me flustered with every little move she makes. I wonder if it has anything to do with her powers or her heritage that makes her so desirable?"

Callie felt her fiancé's eyes on her and to tease him, she purposely made sure that her skirt rode up her thighs a little higher than normal while sending him a thought, 'Tonight, you get to feel these legs wrapped around you again, dear.' She pulled out the trinket in question and handed it to Evelyn before she righted herself and straightened out her skirt.

Chance left his post and went to the backroom to cool down from Callie's little teaser.

Felicia finished teaching her morning class and locked the door to the dojo after the last student left. She glanced at the time shown on an old clock by the stairs and realized she had to start her shift at the hospital in two hours. She finished cleaning up the dojo, bowed to the protection shrine of in the corner, and headed up to the residence to shower and get dressed for her shift.

As per normal, the hospital was a complete buzz of activity and she was thrown into the fray as soon as she arrived. With the help of Dr. Feldman, she tended to a car crash victim with a nasty gash of his forehead. The duo finished bandaging up the tom and was summoned back to the ER to assist in a drive by shooting.

They arrived back in the main section of the ER just in time to see the ambulance pull up to the doors. The rear doors of the ambulance opened up and one of the EMTs jumped out, grabbed the back of the stretcher, and pulled it out of the ambulance. As the stretcher was removed, the retractable wheels lowered to the ground and was followed by a second EMT. They wheeled the stretcher into the ER and one of them said, "32 year old female, single GSW to the abdomen, BP of 118 over 70 and falling, pulse OX of 93."

Dr. Feldman and Felicia were already donning their scrubs and Dr. Feldman said, "Trauma Two!"

The patient was wheeled into Trauma Two's bay and when she was transferred to the gurney, a small swarm of nurses and attending physicians descended on her, hooking her up to a pair of saline drips and a pulse oxygen monitor. The monitor started to beep once she was connected and showed her heart rate as well as her oxygen saturation levels.

Dr. Feldman and Felicia entered the trauma bay and he took over the care of the patient. He looked down at he face of patient and said, "Don't worry, you'll pull through this." He lifted his gaze to Felicia who had her paws full of gauze and tape so Dr. Feldman could close the wound, when he was ready to. "Help me roll her over so I can check for an exit wound Felicia."

"Yes doctor," Felicia responded and put the gauze and tape down on a rolling table. She put her paws on the patient and waited for Dr. Feldman to be ready to examine the patient so she wouldn't be in too much discomfort.

Dr. Feldman nodded to Felicia, then she assisted in rolling the patient over onto her left side. Dr. Feldman examined her back and didn't see an exit wound. "Damn, there is no exit wound, the bullet is still in her!" he said.

They rolled the patient onto her back again and he ordered more than asked, "Where is the portable X-Ray?"

As if on cue, a female Radiologist arrived with a portable X-Ray machine and connected it to the power and network ports on the wall. She went back to the machine, removed a reflective plate from the storage compartment, and slid it under the patient. She handed out two radiation resistant capes to Dr. Feldman and Felicia, then waited for instructions on what pictures to take from the doctor.

"I want a abdominal series as well as a chest X-Ray," Dr. Feldman ordered.

"Yes doctor," she responded and got to work.

As she took the X-Rays, they were displayed on a color monitor in the trauma bay. Dr. Feldman studied each X-Ray, looking for the bullet and found it. The bullet stopped in a very benign location. Far away from any vital organs. He grabbed a stylus from the side of the monitor, circled the bullet on the X-Ray, and tapped the 'Save' button on the bottom of the screen. He turned around to face his patient again, then said, "Get her up to the OR."

The patient was disconnected from the monitors and wheeled out of the trauma bay towards the elevators heading down to the OR suites.

After the patient left the ER, they removed their scrubs and placed them in a waste bin located in the bay. Then Felicia asked, "Care for some lunch doctor?"

"Definitely, Mary has me on this new diet she read about and its working wonders, for her. Meanwhile, I'm starving myself to support her," Dr. Feldman said.

"You could stand to lose a little weight Dr. Ever since I have known you, your stomach has gotten bigger every year. I should make you work out with me and Nancy at the dojo," Felicia said.

"So you both can make fun of how out of shape I am? No thanks. Speaking of Nancy, why don't we ask her to come with us? I haven't seen her in a few weeks since they transferred her out of the ER," Dr. Feldman suggested.

Felicia already had one of the house phones in her paw, dialing Nancy's extension. She waited for her friend to pick up, then said, "Dr. Feldman wants to take us to lunch Nancy, meet us in the lobby in ten."

Dr. Feldman heard her state he was taking them to lunch and asked, "Wait a minute, who said I was taking you two to lunch?"

Felicia hung up the phone,, turned to face Dr. Feldman, then answered, "I did, you make considerably more than Nancy and I make combined. So you have more money to spend."

"But I'm still paying for my daughter's college Felicia," Dr. Feldman pleaded but he took one look into Felicia's eyes as she made a pouting face like a little kitten would and gave in, "Alright, I'll take you and Nancy out for lunch today. I feel sorry for the tom who falls in love with you Felicia, he is never going to win an argument when you make a face like that."

Felicia laughed at Dr. Feldman's comment since he was like a grandfather to her. She closed the small distance between the two of them and said as she linked her right arm though his left, "Come on grandpa, we have a lunch date."

They walked into the lobby and met Nancy by the front doors of the hospital.

Nancy noticed Felicia and Dr. Feldman's arms linked together as they walked. As they got closer, she said, "Its about time you two got here, I don't have the luxury to goto lunch with my superior so I'm on a time limit."

Felicia let go of Dr. Feldman and went over to Nancy. She then hugged her friend and fellow teacher and asked, "Did I hurt you too badly when I gave you your test?"

"Not too badly Felicia," Nancy replied as she hugged her friend back. "Mostly my pride when you flipped me over your shoulders, time and time again. You have to teach me how you kept me off balance."

"I can do that Nancy," Felicia said as she let her friend go. She look into Nancy's eyes, reached into her pocket, and said, "You left before I could give this to you Nancy." She pulled out a Black belt with six white swatches on it. As Felicia handed the belt to Nancy, she said, "Even though I am able to throw you, you still showed exceptional skill and I was very impressed. You are now a sixth degree black belt. Congratulations!"

Nancy held the belt in her paws and tears welled up in her eyes. She wiped the tears away with her left paw as she said, "Thank you Felicia, you make an excellent sensei."

"Douita shi ma shi te Nancy," Felicia said as she bowed to Nancy.

"Alright you two, you can bow and congratulate each other all you want back at the dojo. I'm hungry and I want to eat something before Mary's diet leads me to starvation," Dr. Feldman said.

"Mary has you on a diet again good doctor?" Nancy asked as she put her paws on her hips. "We girls will have to make sure you don't stray too far off of your diet then, we can't have Mary mad at us, right Felicia?"

"Really ladies? Can't I eat just one fish burger?" Dr. Feldman begged.

"You could, if you want to suffer Mary's wrath by breaking your diet, and she will find out," Felicia answered.

"You wouldn't tell on me, would you Felicia?" Dr. Feldman asked.

"I don't have to, the stains on your shirt give you away every time," Felicia said as she pointed to the jelly stain on his chest.

"Mary is going to kill me," Dr. Feldman said. He perked up then said, "Oh well, might at as well die happy. Let's go girls." He linked their arms with his and left the hospital.

They ate at a local diner where the two ladies each had a salad. While Dr. Feldman had his fish burger with a small side salad. However, he managed to get ketchup on his shirt. But instead of complaining, he simply shrugged his shoulders and continued eating.

Chance took a lunch order from everyone in the shop including Spencer and walked over to the diner that was not far from Callista's shop. He walked in, sat down at the counter, and waited to place his order. He spun around in his seat and noticed Felicia and Dr. Feldman sitting in a booth with another nurse. Chance left his seat, went over to the booth, and asked, "Good afternoon Felicia, Dr. Feldman, mind if I sit with you?"

Dr. Feldman turned his head to face Chance. He swallowed the bite of food he had in his mouth, then said, "Please do."

Chance took the seat next to Nancy, turned his body to her, and said as he extended his right paw to shake her paw, "I'm Chance Furlong, Dr. Feldman's patient and Felicia's friend, pleased to meet you."

"I know who you are Mr. Furlong, I'm Nancy, one of Felicia's best friends and her student," Nancy said as she took his paw in hers.

"So you are the famous Nancy; Felicia was telling me about. You are also a sixth degree black belt as well as a nurse, very impressive," he said.

"Was a sixth degree black belt, I'm now a seventh degree black belt as of this afternoon," Nancy said as she withdrew her new belt and showed it off with pride.

"Congratulations then Nancy," Chance said.

"Thank you Mr. Furlong, how's the leg doing?" She asked.

"Very well. I need a few more sessions from Dr. Earnhardt before I'm 100% but I'm doing better," he replied.

"Glad to hear it Chance," Nancy said.

The server returned and took Chance's order for everyone back at the shop.

After the server left, he turned to Dr. Feldman and asked, "I need to call your daughter doctor, the kittens are becoming quite active and kick, very hard according to Callie."

Dr. Feldman finished the last bite of his burger before wiping his mouth with his napkin, then saying, "As good of an OB my daughter is, she can't help an active un-born kitten. I'm afraid the lovely Deputy Mayor is going to have to tough this out. However, if you want to make an appointment with her, I'm sure Daniella will clear her schedule for you. Has Callie had a Check-Up recently?"

"No, she hasn't," Chance answered.

"With triplets, she'd better," Dr. Feldman said. "We want those kittens in there as long as possible. The longer they are in the womb, the healthier they will be when they are born."

"This is my first time being a father doctor, I'm not sure what you mean by that," Chance said.

"Since there are three of them, space is going to be limited and eventually, they are going to want out. No one wants to deliver a pre-mature kitten, its heart wrenching to see this tiny form being rushed off to a NICU and hooked up to these machines and put in a incubator. A normal birth weight for a kitten is about six to seven pounds but I have seen kittens weighing five and a half pounds being born and not have any issues. But below that, they are very closely monitored for any signs of deficiency. As long as Callie's body can handle bringing the kittens to full term, you will have three very healthy and might I say, quite beautiful kittens to hold in a few months," Dr. Feldman said.

"Henry is right Chance," Felicia said. "Callie is going to need monitoring of her pregnancy to ensure she delivers three gorgeous kittens."

"I'll make sure she makes that appointment, thanks," Chance said.

The server returned with three large bags of food and set the bags on the table as well as the bill before he walked back towards the kitchen.

Chance went to grab the bill to pay for his as well as everyone else's lunch but Henry grabbed both checks instead and said, "I'll get this, you are going to have three kittens to provide for very shortly." He quickly scanned both bills and read what Chance ordered. He then asked, "Wow! Are you feeding a small army or a large cat?"

Chance muttered in reply, "If you only knew doctor."

"Sorry Chance, I didn't hear you. Mind repeating that?" Henry said.

"I have a few guests I'm taking care of right now. Actually, why don't the three of you come over to Callista's store? Callie is there; and I'm sure Sarah will want to see you again Felicia," Chance said.

"I wouldn't mind seeing Sarah again myself," Felicia said before she turned to Nancy and asked, "Care to meet a kitten who if she keeps training with me, is going to take my job at the dojo?"

"Is this the same Sarah you have been praising Felicia?" Nancy asked.

"One in a same Nancy," Felicia answered.

"Then I want to meet her too," Nancy said as she and Chance stood up from her seats.

"Now wait a minute ladies, I have a hospital to run and you both are needed back at your posts. We can't just go off and visit a kitten," Henry said.

Both Felicia and Nancy pouted at Henry since they knew he could not say no to them when they looked at him like they were.

Henry felt his resolve start to melt the longer he looked into the faces of the two nurses. However, he did have a hospital that was not going to run itself. He said, "No way, we need to get back."

The two she-cats then made their lower lips tremble and made their eyes look bigger.

Henry threw his arms up in the air as he said, "You win, I give up! Both of you head over and see Sarah, I'll cover for you back at the hospital." He then got up and left the diner.

Callie, Sarah, and Evelyn tended to a few more customers while three cats entered the store. Each of them were wearing black hooded sweat shirts and faded jeans. They waited for the customers to leave before politely closing the door.

They walked over to Callie and peered at her while she put a few things back into the display case. Then one of them said, "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Hand over all of the cash and jewels or something bad will happen to those cute girls over there." He brandished a long knife to show he meant business.

Callie looked at the knife, then to her assailant and said, "Alright, give me a few minutes to get what you want together. Just let the girls be." She went to head into the back to gather the day's receipts when Evelyn ran over to them and bumped into one of the other toms. His hood fell off revealing his face to Evelyn.

He reached down and grabbed her as he said, "They saw my face! We need to get out of here! Where is the cash lady?!"

"Put Evelyn down and I will get the money for you. Please, put her down," Callie pleaded.

"Not until I have the money. Move it or she gets it!" The tom threatened.

Sarah ran over to them when she noticed Evelyn in the tom's arm. "Put my friend down!" She ordered.

The tom holding Evelyn looked down at the little girl ordering him to put her friend down and said, "What are you going to do about it? You're so small, you couldn't hurt a fly."

Sarah remembered what Felicia taught her about taking out someone bigger than you were. She opened her stance, brought her left leg back, and pivoted on her right foot, kicking the tom in the ribs. He grimaced in pain but didn't let Evelyn go. He did manage to say, "You little bitch!" Before he grabbed her with his left arm, then said, "You like to play rough? Alright, I can play rough too!"

Spencer was taking a nap when he heard the commotion in the front of the store. He tapped Inferno with his left wing and motioned to the door. He got up from the floor and nudged the door open with his nose. When he saw his princess being held by a tom he didn't know and saw her struggling, he yelled, "Princess!" And flew out of the back room at the tom, knocking him to the floor. Spencer extended his front claws and his wings, then said through a series of snarls and growls, "You are all big and tough, picking on a four and a five year old kitten! Try taking on someone your own size, like me!"

The she-cat of the trio went to pull a gun out of the waistband of her pants when she felt a gust of wind against her face. She looked up and saw Inferno, scowling down at her and puffing smoke from his nostrils. "What the hell are you?" She asked as she tried to back away from him.

Inferno let out a screech and shot a flame from his mouth.

By that time, Chance, Nancy, and Felicia entered the store and noticed what was happening. Chance ran over to Callie's assailant as fast as he could and tackled him down to the floor like a Linebacker. He then said, "How dare you rob this place and hold a knife to my fiancée! I suggest you stay down!" He lifted his head to face Callie and asked," Are you alright?"

"I'm fine dear," Callie responded.

Felicia and Nancy were right behind Chance and once Nancy was close enough to attack the she-cat, she brought her down to the ground and said, "Don't move and inch or you will regret it!"

The she-cat took a swing at Nancy and connected with her right cheek. Her head whipped to the left and as she brought her head back around to face the she-cat, she brought her left fist up and then down, knocking her out cold. "Told you!"

Felicia ran over to where Spencer held down the tom and said, "I'll take it from here, go on and hide."

Spencer didn't move an inch and said, "He dared to touch my princess! Give me one reason why her knight should not make him pay!"

Evelyn came over to Spencer, wrapped her arms around his neck, and said, "Spencer, I'm ok, don't do this."

Spencer turned his head to face his princess and noticed a few tears in her eyes. He retracted his claws from the tom's chest and said, "Evelyn, you mean the world to me and as you humble knight, I will do as you requested." He got off of the tom and nuzzled Evelyn's cheek, then said, "I don't know what I would do if he hurt you Evelyn. You have made me into a softy and I love you for it."

"I love you too Spencer," Evelyn said as she hugged him tighter.

Sarah got up from the floor and saw Inferno, flying overhead. She raised her right arm up and said, "Inferno, come."

Inferno heard his mistress' voice and obeyed her command. He landed on her arm and walked up to her shoulders.

"Good boy!" Sarah said as she stroked the scales on his head.

"What the hell is this place?" The tom that was being held down by Felicia asked.

"Not the easy mark you thought it would be," Chance answered.

"Everyone is going to know about that black abomination as well as that flying lizard," she she-cat said.

"I don't think so," Callie said as she walked around the counter. She looked at the three robbers, then said, "This won't hurt a bit." Her eyes turned completely white as she concentrated on wiping out the past half hour from their minds.

After a minute or two, her eyes returned to normal. She then said, "That should do it. They won't remember a thing." Callie turned to Inferno and Spencer, then said, "You two had better make yourselves scarce."

Spencer bowed to Callie as he said, "You are just as powerful, as well as beautiful as your grandmother." He stood back up, then said to Inferno, "Come on my friend."

Inferno left Sarah's shoulder landed on Spencer's back, then Spencer walked into the backroom.

Nancy watched in amazement at what occurred before her eyes. After she finished subduing the she-cat, she said, "Will someone tell me exactly what just happened?"

Felicia went over to her friend, put her right paw on her left shoulder, then asked, "Do you believe in magic Nancy?"
