This is the start of Iris' new life. Not going to elaborate any further on the subject.

Sally and Jessica pulled several All Nighters to finish Iris' gown. Finally, after the third day, they finished it. Jessica placed it on a mannequin and stepped back to inspect their work. She placed her right arm around Sally's neck, and said, "We did it! What do you think?"

Sally lifted her head from the sewing machine to look at the gown. She liked what she was seeing. However, the mannequin didn't mimic Iris' body. Iris' bust was larger, and she had slightly wider hips than the mannequin. "Iris is going to have to try it on before I am satisfied. We may have finished the gown. But the modifications after the fitting are going to be a bear." She glanced at the clock and saw it was almost 3 in the morning. She faced Jessica, and said, "Let's go home. Iris will be here around 10 for her first fitting."

Sally tried to rise from her seat but stumbled forward from being overly tired.

Jessica caught her and said, "You are in no shape to be driving, anywhere. You are coming home with me, and I am not taking no for an answer."

The next morning, Kayla woke up around 7 in the morning. Her eyes fluttered open to see the back of Jessica's head as she peacefully slept. Kayla didn't remember Jessica slipping into bed beside her. She assumed Jessica retuned home, quite late again. She lifted her head from her pillow, leaned over Jessica's head, moved Jessica's hair away from her face, and placed a light kiss on Jessica's left cheek, before leaving the bed to get ready for the day.

Kayla closed the door to their shared bedroom and walked towards the kitchen to get breakfast made.

She entered the living room and heard a light snore from the Pull-Out sofa. She turned to see Sally, sleeping peacefully. She smiled at her friend, then proceeded to head into the kitchen.

Sally stirred when she smelled the fresh odor of coffee brewing. She lifted her head from the pillow and asked, "What time is it?"

Kayla lowered her mug from her lips, and answered, "Its about eight in the morning. Coffee?"

"Please," Sally replied. She slipped off the sofa, stood, and that was when she noticed how Kayla was dressed. Or the very lack of dress. "Is this the way a Female Ninja and a Fashion Model dress when they are not in public?"

"To be honest with you, we do. Jessica and I want to be comfortable in our home," Kayla answered.

"I'm glad you two are comfortable, being yourselves. You mentioned coffee?" Sally asked.

Kayla smiled back, and answered, "Sure do. Come on and eat. I'll get Jessica up, one way or another."

An hour later, the three of them were in Sally's shop, waiting on Iris to show up for her first fitting. Sally was still in the same clothes she wore from the day before, while Jessica and Kayla wore matching blue denim skirts and red t-shirts. All three were staring at the gown on the mannequin and imagining how it was going to look on Iris.

Kayla went over to the gown and walked around it, examining the delicate fabric and the design. She faced the other two she-cats, and asked, "Don't both of you think its too low cut for a Prom Gown?"

"This is what Iris wanted and was very adamant about getting her way," Sally answered.

Jessica walked over to Kayla, placed her paws on her waist, and said, "I promise, the gown is not cut too low, Kayla. I wouldn't do that to her. I want her to have the experience of a lifetime, my love." She quickly kissed Kayla and pulled back. "You know, you would look stunning in that gown. You will have to model a similar one for me, before it hits the floor, right along with what ever I'm wearing. That is if I'm wearing anything." She then rubbed her nose against Kayla's.

Iris and Mrs. Murphy entered the shop. They both saw Jessica and Kayla in a passionate embrace. Then, Mrs. Murphy said, "Blasphemy."

Both Kayla and Jessica faced Mrs. Murphy, with light scowls on their faces, then Kayla asked, "What is so blasphemous about an engaged couple holding each other?"

"Nothing, if one of you was a tom," Mrs. Murphy answered.

"Mother, stop it now!" Iris said. "We are not at home or in private. You can't say things like that anymore. Personally, they look good together."

"You're entitled to your opinion as I am to mine, daughter," Mrs. Murphy said.

Sally rolled her eyes at the whole situation. She left the mannequin to stand to the left of Jessica, and said, "This is my shop. Jessica and Kayla are more than welcome to show their affections for each other here, how ever they want, within reason. Jessica is an excellent seamstress and has an eye for what my clients want, even when they can't verbalize their wants. Plus, she's an awesome friend to my young daughter. They might as well be sisters."

"You let your daughter, be friends with her, when she could be spreading her Homosexual Propaganda to your daughter?" Mrs. Murphy asked, rather impolitely.

Iris pulled away from her mother, face her, and said, "I can't believe you even asked that question! What does her sexual orientation have anything to do with the type of cat she is!?"

"Everything! For all we know, those two could be indoctrinating Sally's daughter into the LGBT world they live in! I wouldn't let either one around my young child," Mrs. Murphy answered.

"Mother! Jessica has been nothing but nice to me and went above and beyond with helping design and modifying my gown! I didn't know she preferred females over males until now either and frankly I don't care. Both she and Sally have treated as family every time I've set foot in here. I consider them as friends! If you can't accept them, either sit quietly or please leave so I can be fitted!" Iris spat.

Mrs. Murphy faced Sally, and bluntly asked, "About how long do you need to get Iris fitted?"

"Two hours," Sally replied.

"I'll be back in two hours," she said and left the shop.

Once the door closed, Iris said, "I have to apologize for my mother's behavior."

"You don't have anything to apologize for, Iris," Jessica said. She looked at the closed door for a second, then said, "Your mother is not going to be thrilled with your choice of gown."

"I'm finally breaking free of my mother's grasp, Jessica. I feel like myself, instead of a shadow of my mother. Before she gets back, can we get started with my fitting? I want to see what you two have come up with that is going to make Roy drool," Iris said.

A few minutes later, Iris was standing on the small stage again, now wearing her gown. She was smiling widely as she admired the way she looked in her gown. The Sky-Blue material accentuated her fur coloring perfectly, the gown covered her prosthetic almost all the way to the floor, and even though the gown was cut very low in the chest, it didn't reveal the sides of her breasts the way the gown she originally tried on had. "I feel amazing!" Iris exclaimed.

Both Sally and Jessica were thrilled Iris was happy with her gown. Although, they still examined the way the gown fit her with meticulous eyes.

Sally was still not satisfied with how the gown revealed Iris' bust while Jessica and Kayla focused on Iris' waist, tail, and legs.

"My love," Kayla said. "Don't you think this gown is a little over the top for a High School Prom?"

"Its is a bit, much for a High School Prom, Kayla. However, Iris looks like she could be one of Bast's servants. Besides, don't you see how Iris is almost glowing? If that gown is what is making her feel this way, then I'm all for her wearing the gown," Jessica said.

"That may be, Jess," Sally interjected. "I still want to add more material to cover more of her chest."

"Why, Sally?" Jessica asked. "Iris likes the gown the way it is. Don't you always say the customer is always right?"

"I do say that, but the gown reveals too much of her chest. The chaperones are going to have a field day, when they see her in her gown," Sally said.

Iris' ears perked up when she heard the backend of the conversation. She stomped her prosthetic foot to the stage, and said, "I love the gown the way it is! Its my body and if I want to show it off, that's what I'm going to do!"

"Iris, please be reasonable," Sally said. "Even with the modifications Pat suggested, the gown still shows off way too much of your chest. The chaperones are going to make you cover up. I don't want you to be embarrassed."

Iris stepped off the stage and made her way over to stand in front of Sally, and said, "I will not allow myself to be embarrassed. I love the gown the way it is, and I love the way it makes me feel. Personally, I can't wait for Roy to see me in it. He's going to be tongue tied to the point, he's not going to be able to vocalize."

Sally was able to sneak the color of Iris' gown to Mrs. Warrens so Roy's tux matched Iris' gown. Roy's mother called her back almost immediately and asked her to make a vest and a bow tie, which she agreed.

It was now the night of the prom. Roy was standing outside of Iris' house, wearing a black tuxedo, a sky-blue vest and bow tie. The entire ensemble fit him perfectly, emphasizing his muscular body. In other words, he looked good.

Despite how good Roy looked, as soon as Iris stepped out of the front door of her house, he stopped breathing.

Even though Iris was wearing a tan trench coat, she had it tied tight enough to show off the curves of her body. He sprinted up the walk in order to get to her as fast as possible, so she didn't have to try to walk on her prosthetic leg.

He supported her by wrapping his prosthetic left arm around her waist. He turned his head to the left and gave her a quick kiss. Then asked, "You look beautiful, but why the coat?"

"I didn't want to reveal my gown before we got to the prom," Iris answered, then kissed him, and said, "Trust me, you are going to love it."

A half hour later, Felina exited her car and made her way to the to the Event Hall that held Iris' Prom. She was wearing a light blue pantsuit and a pair of matching moderate heeled shoes. She walked through a pair of glass double doors and over to the Check-In area. "Felina Clawson, reporting for Chaperone duty," she said.

"I'm sorry, who are you again?" A slightly older she-cat asked, not seeing Felina's name on the sheet of paper in front of her.

Felina crossed her arms under her chest and rested her weight on her right hip. "I'm one of Iris Murphy's friends. She told me you were short on chaperones for the prom. So, here I am."

"I guess we could use another chaperone," the she-cat said. "The guests are about to start arriving. I'm going to assign you to the dance floor."

The prom guests started arriving. Each one had to be checked to make sure their outfits were proper.

Iris and Roy approached the Check-In table. There was a pair of couples ahead of them waiting to be inspected.

The tom in front of Roy recognized Roy, turned around to face him, and said, "Warrens! I owe you big time! You saved my life!"

"I'd do it again, Rick. I may have lost my arm. But I gained something, much more valuable. Rick, you remember Iris Murphy?"

Rick looked to the right of Roy to see Iris wearing her trench coat, but from the neck up, Iris looked gorgeous. "That's Iris Murphy? Wow! She's a knockout!"

Rick's date didn't appreciate him commenting on another she-cat, especially in her presence. The Raven haired she-cat balled up her right paw in a tight fist and hit Rick in the right shoulder.

Rick felt the pain blossom in his shoulder. He rubbed it with his left paw, turned to his date, and asked, "Why did you hit me?"

"Your eyes are supposed to be on me and not on Roy's date!" She replied.

Rick turned to her, placed both of his paws on her waist, and said, "I promise. My eyes will be on you for the rest of the night." He kissed her right after.

The she-cat at the Check-In desk looked up to see Rick and his date kissing. She responded, "You can't kiss her here or anywhere else in the venue, Mr. Evans!"

The two separated and Rick said," Sorry. I got carried away."

"Don't let it happen again. I'd hate to have you two removed," she said and wrote down their names in the log. "Next."

Roy and Iris stepped up to the desk, then Roy said, "Roy Warrens and Iris Murphy."

The she-cat wrote their names in the log, then she looked at the coat Iris was wearing, and said, "You need to remove the coat, Miss Murphy."

Iris slowly removed the trench coat she was wearing to reveal her gown.

As she expected, Roy's breath hitched, then he stopped breathing, but only for a second. Once he was able to gain his composure, he said, "You look gorgeous, Iris."

"Thank you, Roy," she said with a smile and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

Despite how good Iris looked in her gown, the she-cat in front of her took one look at the amount of fur that which was exposed, and said, "Miss Murphy! I expected better from you! That gown in not appropriate for a School Function! Either you cover up, or you are going to have to leave!"

"Mrs. Reynolds, I feel wonderful in this gown, despite the ugly hardware attached to my left leg. I know its, more revealing than it should be. But I feel comfortable wearing it, especially with Roy by my side. Considering I should still be in the hospital, letting my leg heal, instead of being here with the the rest of my class. Can't you let this one minor transgression slide?" Iris asked.

Mrs. Reynolds did remember the memo about how Iris had to have her left leg amputated below the knee and how she felt very self conscious about her prosthetic. She also read how Roy heroically pulled Rick out from the mess he was in, which cost Roy his left arm. She looked at the couple, and said, "Alright, you two can head in, but make sure that gown stays put!"

"It will, I promise!" Iris said and started pulling Roy into the Prom.

The two of them entered the Prom. Roy politely excused himself from Iris and went over to the table which held the Seating Tags. He found his name along with Iris' grabbed the two tags front the table and went to return to Iris' side.

Meanwhile, Iris' friends got up from their various tables and had her surrounded. They couldn't believe her transformation from the short-haired, skinny girl to the shoulder length-haired curvy she-cat she'd become. "All of this is thanks to my doctors, and the tom who I fell in love with," Iris said.

Three of her closest friends, narrowed their eyes at her, then the one in the center blatantly asked, "Who is this mysterious tom, who claimed your heart, "Iris?"

Roy heard her question, and as he approached and placed his right arm around Iris' waist, he answered, "That would be me, ladies."

The group of she-cats admired how Roy filled out his tux. Now with broader shoulders, well defined chest, and right arm, and from what they could see through his slacks, quite muscular legs. Their tails started swaying on their own accord. Then one of them asked, "Iris! You're dating the ex-star Full Back!?"

Iris turned in Roy's arm, caressed the fur on his right cheek with her right paw, and said, "Not only dating, dating exclusively. We are heading to the same college in the fall."

Roy felt her gentle caress, closed his eyes, and let out a purr.

All the girls around Iris heard Roy's purr. But Iris felt Roy's purr reverberate into her paw and she felt very warm to the point, her face became blushed.

"Dang, he must really care for you to purr from a simple touch," Another she-cat said.

"That I do. I love her as much as she loves me," Roy said and kissed her without caring who saw them.

Unfortunately, Felina was scanning the crowd of teenagers and happened to land her eyes on Roy, just as he planted his lips on Iris'. With purposeful strides and her eyes laser focused on the couple. She walked over to them, pushing others out of the way so she could complete her task.

Roy was basking in the feel of Iris' lips pressed firmly against his own. When he felt someone tap his left shoulder. He tried to shoo them away with his left paw. But that was his downfall.

Felina grabbed his left paw, pulling him away from Iris, and said, "You and I have to have a little chat, away from your date, mister!"

"Who in MegaKat was that?" One of Iris' friends asked.

"She's my Guardian Angel and my newest friend," Iris answered, admiring Roy's tail section in his slacks.

Felina pulled Roy off to a secluded area of the hall, let him go, and said, "Roy, I know you love Iris and she loves you. But it is my job to make sure there is nothing inappropriate occurring tonight and I plan on making sure that happens!"

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Clawson," Roy said. "She looks so beautiful tonight. I only want to make the night magical for her, just as she deserves."

Felina looked past Roy to gaze at Iris and how good she did look in her gown. She then focused back on Roy, and more or less ordered, "I appreciate you want to make the night special for her. However, keep your lips to yourself and your paws above the waist at all times. And you won't have to find out why my uncle promoted me to be the Commander, got it?!"

Roy gulpled as he looked into Felina's eyes, fully knowing, what she said was not a threat but a promise. "Yes, ma'am," was all he said.

"Good boy," Felina said. "I don't want to have to repeat this conversation."

Roy made his way back to Iris, with his tail hanging a bit lower. When he reached Iris, she asked, "What did you two talk about?"

Hearing her voice again, lightened his mood. He took her paws in both of his, and answered, "She reminded me of how I'm supposed to behave." He bowed to her bringing his right arm under his rib cage, extending his prosthetic left arm to her, and asking, "May have this dance, my beautiful Iris?"

Iris took his paw in hers, and answered, "You may."

Roy straightened himself and led her to the Dance Floor. He placed his paws on her mid-back and waist, leaned into her, and said, "Let me support you so you don't have to put any excessive weight on your leg."

Iris wrapped her arms around his neck, and replied, "I can dance on my own. But I do appreciate you being galant, Roy."

The two danced the early evening away. Both enjoying the closeness of the other.

On the other side of the room, Felina watched the entire room full of teenagers dance and sway to the music, silently wishing her husband was there with her so she could dance the night away as well. She managed to catch a glimpse of a few boys making their way over to a dark corner of the room and one of them reaching into his jacket to remove a silver flask, she assumed to contain alcohol. She left her spot and walked around all the swaying bodies to get to the boys.

"Come on, I need a drink," one of them said.

The one with the flask, lowered it from his mouth. He handed it over to another, who brought it to his mouth and took a long drink.

"What do you three think you are doing?" Felina asked in a very commanding voice.

The three turned to see Felina standing in front of them with her paws on her hips and her legs slightly spread.

"You're not a teacher, we don't have to listen to anything you say," one of them said.

Felina strode over to them, grabbed the offending teenager's left wrist, and said, "Oh, yes you do! I'm soon to be Commander Clawson of the Enforcers and special guest chaperone." She sniffed the air, which wreaked of alcohol, and asked, "Is that alcohol I'm smelling?"

Felina's banter caught Roy's ears. He lifted his head up and searched for the source. He found Felina standing in front of three of the cats which caused more problems at school than he cared to know. "Please excuse me, Iris. I need to help out our new friend." He said and went to grab a few of the larger toms from the Football team to assist Felina.

The three teenaged toms surrounded Felina, and one of them said, "Little ladies shouldn't be concerned with what us toms do."

"You know, she does have a killer body. Maybe she'll be willing to let us have a little fun with her," another said.

Felina held her ground. She smirked at the three and asked, "My husband is the only one I play with, boys. I'm quite sure all three of you combined will not measure up to him. Now, before you three embarrass yourselves, give me the flask and go home."

"Not going to happen, lady!" He took a swing at Felina but instead of hitting her, he felt like he hit a solid wall. He looked directly in front of him and saw one of the Line Backers. "Hi Bruce."

"My father would take me over his knee if I allowed you to strike a lady," Bruce said in his deep bass voice. "Do we understand each other, or do I have to remind you of what happened when you grabbed my girl's ass?"

Bruce was joined by two other Line Backers and Roy. The three stood behind Felina with their arms crossed over their expansive chests. Then Roy asked, "Is there a problem, Commander Clawson?"

Hearing Roy call her Commander made her feel proud. She still wasn't sure about taking her uncle's job, but after Roy and his friends backed her up, without her asking, she was positive she could take his job. "Nothing I really couldn't handle, Mr. Warrens. However, if you fine gentletoms wouldn't mind taking out the trash?" She asked.

Bruce responded, "Not at all, Commander. Mike, Steve, care to help?"

"Sure thing," Mike answered.

Each one of the Line Backers picked up each of the three toms and walked out of the event hall.

Roy was about to follow them, but Felina grabbed his right paw.

He turned to face her, and she said, "Thank you, Roy. I could have handled those three on my own. But it would have ended with them going to the hospital, and not a holding cell. When your three friends get back, I want to extend them an invitation to enroll in the Academy in the fall if they are not attending college, or when they finish school. Every one of you has what it takes to be an Enforcer. I will need officers who want to help others, instead of working for a check."

"I'm sure they will take you up on your offer, Mrs. Clawson," Roy said.

"Its Felina to you." She said.

"Ok, Felina," Roy said. "May I get back to Iris? I.. I want to get to dance with her again, and maybe get her, to kiss me again."

"So, you two kissed already?" Felina teasingly asked, knowing they have kissed in her presence already.

"Of course we have kissed! You saw us and stopped it not that long ago." Roy said. "As I told your husband, if we were older, I would have asked her for her paw and marry her. I'm so in love with her, when I see her in my dreams, her belly is swollen with our kitten."

Felina grabbed his wrist again and pulled him to her. She growled, then asked, "If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm quite protective of Iris. So, I'm only going to ask this once, and you have better be telling me the truth. Do you really love her?"

Roy gazed into one of the faces that could scare the crud out of anyone. However, he couldn't deny what he felt for Iris either. "I love her, Felina. I really love her!"

Felina peered into his eyes, then hugged him tightly. "Roy, if my mother wasn't busy popping toms out of her, Iris could have been my sister. With her being a potential Feral, her older sister has to look out for her. So, if you hurt her in any way, and I find out. I will skin you alive and use your fur as a rug. Do we understand each other?"

"Crystal, Felina," Roy answered.

Felina pulled back, then said, "My sister is waiting for you. Us Ferals hate waiting if you get my drift."

Roy turned his head hard to the right to see Iris tapping her right foot on the dance floor and her weight was resting on her left hip, letting him and everyone else know she was getting impatient. "I understand, completely," he said.

Felina let him go, and said, "Make the rest of the night, special for both of you."

Roy straightened his tuxedo jacket, and said, "I will." And returned to Iris.

As soon as he reached her, he said, "Sorry for leaving you alone, but I couldn't dance with you in good conscience, when Felina needed backup."

Iris wrapped her arms around his neck, pulled him to her, kissed him, and said, "You don't have to apologize to me, for doing what is right, Roy. I'm sure she appreciated the effort. However, she probably could have handled the situation on her own."

"She mentioned something along those lines, Iris," he said. The DJ started playing a very slow tune. Roy smiled at her, and asked, "Care to dance?"

She kissed his right cheek, and answered, "Definitely."

Once again, his prosthetic paw found its home on her mid back while his right paw fell to her waist. They slowly swayed in time with the music, savoring the heat and feeling each other's heart beating as they danced.

Roy pulled his head back, looked at Iris' beautiful, content face, and asked, "Iris, you make me feel like I can take on the world when I'm with you. I love you so much, when I dream, your belly is swollen with our child. Those dreams felt so right. I wish we were older so I can ask you to be my wife. Actually..," he separated himself from her and fell onto his right knee. He took her left paw in both of his, then continued, "Iris Murphy. As long as you don't mind a very long engagement, will you be my wife?"
