"Just helpin' Johnny. Go lay down with Soda 'fore he wakes up too." Ponyboy answered when he took the flashlight out of his mouth, passing it to Johnny to hold at a specific angle as he moved to remove the glass. It wasn't deep, and it was possible that Ponyboy wouldn't have needed the tweezers. Better safe than sorry.

"I dunno, just… woke up here? Don't remember what happened before though." Ponyboy shrugged again. He didn't like the headache he would get if he tried, so he stopped trying when Johnny shoved him.

Soda said he'd grow out of it, but after Mark Jennings decides they'll be buddies, Pony begins to understand that he's not just a late bloomer after all. [Mark/Pony]

All sorts of themes and genres will be in these stories as well, not just pure fluff.

A life hangs in the balance, and it's the cherry on top after a week of vertigo and tears and praying they'd all be somewhat complete again. Ponyboy gets hurt instead of Johnny, and it blossoms into a war - the fight of their lives, with the blaze for the battleground and the scars as their legacy.

One day after his DX shift, Soda and Pony get jumped on their way home. The officers classist mindsets nearly lead to the death of Ponyboy and Darry has quite the bone to pick with them.

Pony Curtis was never meant to be touched. After all, the socs never went after the girl greasers. Right? (or How The Outsiders might've unfolded if Ponyboy was a girl instead.)
