It had been at least a month since Wolf, Diane and Jet went on a picnic together from what Wolf had planned to help Jet feel better from falling into depression about the whole fiasco he went through with Marmalade, but also after Wolf and Diane finally had their romantic kiss together after Jet was put into bed, it was also an unexpected surprise for Wolf when he heard Jet called him 'daddy'.
Meanwhile for Jet, he seemed to have got used to learning all the important things a kid can learn from a teacher, and have all the fun he gets when at recess, with his great friends/classmates he has made whom they seemed to respect him with great understanding, with all his depression mind gone and is now replaced by a wonderful happy life all thanks to Wolf's idea for the aforementioned picnic he suggested to Diane, and it was a successful aspect for them and boy, it was a fun thing for Jet to bond with them as of they were like parents to them, even though Wolf is not really his real dad but Diane is still his adoptive mom after all.
Today is a Sunday, and it turns out…..it is the last day of pre-school for Jet, before he gets to spend the whole summer with his adoptive fox mom, Diane Foxington, or he gets to spend a sleepover or a day with the former bad guys, which are Wolf, Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula. Little does Jet know is that he would be meeting some newer guys who had been friends with the former bad guys for a long time before eventually splitting up with them as a pause (years before the movie from 2022 was released), and now has been fixed and recollected friendship, now that they've befriended Diane.
It is right now a bright afternoon, and Jet and his other classmates which they're anthro animal kids were allowed to go to recess before most of their animal parents come to pick them up early at release at 1:00 P.M.
Jet was having loads of fun with his classmates, Melody, Abigail, and Adrian, whom they've played fun with him at least since his first day after enrolled by Diane. An hour later, it was now go home time as all the anthro kids were packing up in class and leaving early to enter their summer break or their vacation some anthro animal parents plan on. Jet packed up his backpack and was seem sad that he won't be able to have fun with his classmates who are his bestest friends, but he will see them again once the preschool will be re-opened in mid-August whenever the back to school items kick in stores.
After getting his backpack and making his way to the front door, Jet walks outside to find where his adoptive fox mom is.
"Oh Jet! I'm right over here, sweetie!" Diane called
Jet looks to the right where he sees his adoptive fox mom with the yellow car beside her.
"There's my pup! Come give me a hug!" She opened her arms
"Mommy!" Jet shouted as he runs up to her and is in a big loving mommy hug.
"How was school today, sweetie?" Diane asked with a smile
"It was fun, mommy and...I am sad that I won't get to see my friends again." Jet said with a frown.
"Aww, don't worry pupper, I'm sure you'll get to see them again once school starts up again." Diane reassured him and gave him a kiss in the forehead.
Jet later grew a thin smile from the reassurance and was being put down by her as he holds onto her hand, but Diane suddenly remembered something. Something she had in mind for Jet as a surprise that is waiting for, and that is something she had befriended a year ago.
"Alright sweety, you ready to go for something new?" Diane asked her adoptive pup
"Yeah, what is it?" Jet wondered
"I'll tell you on the way, sweetie." Diane smiled before walking with her son to the yellow car.
With this in mind, they got in the car and Diane started driving to where the bad guys hideout home was which is where the surprise is waiting.
A few minutes of driving, Diane revealed what is something Jet will encounter.
"I'm gonna meet your new friends?" Jet asked
"That is right, my pup. I can assure you that they are indeed nice and friendly, just like the first time you first met my friends and even...daddy." Diane replied but pronounced what Jet called Wolf a month ago.
Of course, it was reminded because that's what Jet had mumbled when he was sleeping after that picnic he had when the sun was setting and before he was tucked in bed by Diane when they got to her home, which is now Jet's home after adoption.
Diane still remembered where it was along the quiet empty LA river until turning into the sewer pipe leading to the secret elevator of the hideout.
"Is this where they're at?" Jet asked
"Yes, this is where they're at." Diane answered
"But, i-isn't that daddy and his friends' home we go to?" Jet asked
"*giggles* It is, but trust me you'll like them and they'll like you too eventually." Diane said as she continued driving until they made it to the large sewer elevator was at.
Meanwhile at the bad guys hideout
Mr. Wolf, Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula couldn't be more happier that they've got their friends back after a long year of being split apart and have paused until they later came back after hearing things.
Their friends were an anthropomorphic male gecko but an that has the same height of an adult, has a green scale color but yellow underbelly with some blue, cyan and purple markings over his tail, arms and legs and is wearing a nice black t-shirt and some blue jeans, an anthropomorphic male bandicoot that is blue with white underbelly, wearing a red t-shirt with some jean shorts and has an Australian accent whom he is from Australia (that's where bandicoots originate at), and last but not least, an anthropomorphic male western gorilla who is wearing an orange t-shirt that fits his size along with some grey sweatpants.
The gecko's name is Zero Gexter, while the bandicoot is named Simon Bandicooton, and the gorilla is named Bob Konga, who are a trio together as a team.
Zero, Simon and Bob have been told about who Jet was, and that they'll have to be careful when greeting to Jet, but they told them that they know how to be careful, knowing that they're trustworthy enough and it helps satisfied Wolf. Wolf also told them that he's a nice and friendly pup, but sometimes shy or scared when meeting others, and he also told them that they've first met him when Diane first brought him here to the hideout they're at, before they came back to them. Wolf also told them about his sad story about his mother and how Diane found him and adopted him, and what happened a few days ago, but Zero told them that they have already heard it through the news that caught his and the others' attention when they're recognized Diane but later heard about what happened to Jet.
Wolf thankfully never told them about the kissing part he had with Diane after Jet was being tucked in to sleep from that picnic they had together which is a bit embarrassing to admit, but only told them that they had fun with it and it did helped make Jet feel better from the depression he had.
But then somehow, the elevator door opened and there revealed Diane and Jet holding hands together as Diane walked up to them.
"I'm right on time!" Diane called.
Wolf and the others took notice and he got up from the couch and walked up to her.
"Hey Diane! Glad you came here." Wolf greeted as he later gave Diane an embrace. The two shared the friendly hug they had and Wolf gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"I'm glad to come here, Wolf." Diane smiled
Zero, Simon and Bob got up with their smiles as much as they were happy to see their friend again.
"Well, it's nice to know you came back, Diane." Zero said
"Agreed, mate." Simon chimed in.
"Me too." Bob included.
Diane smiled at the trio and greeted them as well.
"Well, you guys are in luck because your surprise is waiting with me." Diane said
"Really?! What is it? A puppy? A pair of pants?" Bob asked with a little excitement (just referencing Monsters vs Aliens in B.O.B.'s Big Break)
"Just wait and see, Bob. So, you three ready?" Diane asked.
"We're ready!" The trio said in unison
"Alright then. But, did Wolf told you to be gentle?" Diane reminded them but Wolf cuts in
"Don't worry Diane, I already told them and they know how to handle things. They're trustworthy enough." Wolf reassured Diane putting his hand on her shoulder.
Diane smiled at Wolf satisfied that Zero, Simon and Bob already know how to be friendly and calmed when meeting Jet.
"Thank you, Wolf." Diane replied with a smile
"Hey, it's no problem, darlin." Wolf replied.
Eventually, they both walk back to the elevator. Diane later pressed the button commanding the heavy doors to open up revealing the little wolf pup inside.
"Alright, you ready for this buddy?" Wolf asked as he and Diane knelt down to his level and offers him his hand
Jet looks over to see Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula and even Zero, Simon and Bob but still recognizes Wolf, Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula but he never knew nor met them before and he was somewhat growing a nervous face even though Zero, Simon and Bob aren't that scary as Wolf and the others, they're just normal animals.
"It's okay. Don't be scared. You can come and say hi." Diane whispered
"Yeah kiddo, they are our friends after all." Wolf added in
With the memory Jet remembered when he first time meets Wolf, Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula, he had to take a deep breath and decided to put bravery to the test as he quickly took both Wolf and Diane's hands. The three walk up to the others but Zero, Simon and Bob had their surprised faces.
"Zero, Simon, and Bob, we'd like you to meet this cute little pup, Jet." Wolf introduced as he gestured to the wolf pup
"Well, that doesn't seem so bad. A little wolf pup is pretty nice but I like it." Zero thought
"Well that made this day pretty interesting, but crikey! He's pretty cute." Simon commented
"Awww! A puppy, it's so fluffy!" Bob squealed with excitement.
The trio had lauded upon seeing Jet being this cute and fluffy like they never seen before as expected as they walked closer to him but Zero and Simon both knelt down to his height while Bob also looked down to see the pup.
"Well hello there, little fella. You must be Jet we heard, right?" Zero greeted to the pup
"Umm...Y-Yeah. H-Hello." Jet waved shyly but not as last time as he was when meeting Wolf.
"Well hello to you too, Jet. The name's Zero. Zero Gexter, and it is a pleasure to meet a little wolf like you." Zero introduced as he smiled which made Jet feel a little calm seeing that he's not scary but gentle and nice.
"G'day there mate. Name's Simon Bandicooton." Simon introduced himself next with a slight Australian accent as he gives Jet a nice hand-shake.
Jet was surprised that he has never seen a bandicoot nor has he learned about them from pre-school, but quickly heard his what his accent and didn't understand what Simon is originally from.
Bob came next.
"Hi there! I'm Bob Konga!" Bob waved
Jet was even more surprised to see a gorilla that is a bit stronger (BTW, Bob Konga is almost as big as Shark but their heights are different when seeing the anatomy of a gorilla or a shark) but seeing how much of a nice guy and friendly he is, Jet seemed to grow more interest.
Zero, Simon and Bob warmly greeted Jet with all the respect, gentle and friendliness they have for him as they give him hand shakes and some gentle ruffles to his head which is seeming to help him grow more calmly as much as he remembered from the month he first meets Wolf and his friends. Wolf, Diane, Snake and the others all smiled but Diane was glad it was going even more well than last time.
"Oh yeah, I thankfully never told them our kiss we did last month, Diane." Wolf whispered in Diane's ear
Diane was so relieved and thankful that Wolf didn't told them their secret, otherwise they would totally be embarrassed if Wolf did told them about the kissing part, but unfortunately, Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula already saw it from the dash cam.
Wolf and Diane couldn't be more happier that Jet is meeting their longtime friends with all the calm and happiness the future had opened up. But then, there was something that was never expected.
"Oh Jet, wanna see a magic trick I do?" Zero asked
"Oooh! I wanna see it!" Jet smiled with interest
With this in mind, Zero revealed up a coin in his hands.
"You see this coin?" Zero asked but then suddenly covered with his hands and...it suddenly disappeared.
"Oh no. Where'd it go?"
Jet looked around where the coin is but doesn't know where it is.
"Oh wait, maybe it's right..."
Zero revealed it through Jet's left side of the neck in a shirt and then...
"Ta-da! Here it is!" Zero hold up the coin that was on the left side of Jet's shirt.
This made Jet giggle as he seemed to like those magic tricks Zero does and so does everyone else as they all are entertained.

This is my first time making a story on FanFiction but I would like to give thanks and credit to Snowcannon for letting me borrow Jet Pawser with permission, as I asked him if I could use it and had pitched him my idea of this story based on The Bad Guys from DreamWorks Animation, but Zero Gexter, Simon Bandicooton, and Bob Konga belong to me as OCs and Jet Pawser belongs to Snowcannon as this is like a crossover between mine and his OCs.
