An Awakened Memory
Later at Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village, the Galaxy Team Survey Corps were trying to figure out what to do about Lord Kleavor's fury.
"So according to the information we were able to learn from Irida and Lian of the Pearl Clan; were this a normal cause of events, that frenzied Kleavor would be calmed by a nice serving of his favorite foods." said Professor Laventon.
"That would appear to be so, Professor." said Lisa.
"How does that help us?" asked Lori.
"They said it's too dangerous to hand them to that Kleavor." said Luan. Professor Lavetnon thinks for a moment.
"Is it possible that the aromas or some other components of these foods might combine in a way that could not only calm Kleavor but draw him back from his frenzy?" asked Professor Laventon.
"Perhaps." said Lisa. "I admit the smell of Beni's potato mochi does relax me."
"But how can we get it to him without risking ourselves?" asked Lola.
"Well, we can't hand them to Kleavor because Lian and Irida said that no one can get close to him with how he is now." said Lori. Lincoln watches Lynn toss a pokeball up and down and suddenly thinks of something.
"Well, we can't hand the foods to Kleavor; but what about throwing them?" asked Lincoln.
"Throwing?" asked Laventon as he thinks on it.
"Yeah, like we do with pokeballs." said Lincoln.
"That could work." said Professor Laventon. "We can use our skill in crafting pokeballs to craft Kleavor's favorite food into balls."
"We'll see if the Pearl Clan has the foods we need to make them with." said Lana.
"But who's gonna do it?" asked Akari.
"Lynn's the best of us when it comes to throwing, so she should be the one to do it." said Lincoln.
"Good call, Linc." said Lynn.
"But she shouldn't have to face Lord Kleavor by herself." said Rei.
"I'll provide support with my Pokemon if needed." said Lincoln.
"Yes, your Pokemon are the strongest we got right now." said Professor Laventon.
"Let's go back to the Heartwood and discuss this with Lian and Irida." said Lori.
"I'll bet Lincoln's looking forward to seeing Irida again." said Luan with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Hope Clover won't get jealous again if she finds out." said Lola.
"Let's just go." said Lincoln.
"I will remain here." said Professor Laventon.
The Galaxy Team Survey Corps, except for Professor Laventon, exit Galaxy Hall, where Lincoln's Pokemon were waiting outside, and make their way to the Grandtree Arena.
As they get close to the village gate, they spot Mai standing in front of it.
"Oh; hello, Mai." said Lincoln. Mai looks at the Galaxy Hall.
"My, my; that Galaxy Hall is one fine building, even from the outside." said Mai. "The Galaxy Team's certainly got themselves a grand headquarters; I'll give them that."
"So, what are you up to, Mai?" asked Lincoln.
"Oh, yes; I came because I had some news that I thought you might be interested in." said Mai.
"What?" asked Lori.
"It'd probably be better if you actually see what's going on." replied Mai. "Let's head to...what did you end up calling it?"
"The Heights Camp." said Lincoln. The group and Mai then exit Jubilife Village.
Moments later, as they travelled, they see Adaman next to the Wyrdeer they met before; Leni blushes when he sees him.
"Hey, Adaman." said Leni, making Adaman smile.
"Greetings, Leni." replied Adaman. "Anyway, I spoke to Wyrdeer about what's been going on; I told him how you've been trekking all over the fieldlands seeking a way to quell Kleavor's rage."
"We might have a solution to this dilemma." said Lisa who then tells Mai and Adaman their idea.
"Quite inventive to say the least." said Adaman.
"It seems like the safest way to give Lord Kleavor the offerings." said Lori.
"So, you're all off to the Heartwood Arena then?" asked Mai.
"We are." said Lisa.
"How would you like a quicker way for some of you to get there?" asked Adaman.
"I have my Ponyta." said Lola.
"And I have my Stantler." said Lisa.
"Bibawel." said Lily from atop her beaver Pokemon.
"Since Wyrdeer has found you all worthy; he will allow you to ride him." said Adaman.
"Nice." said Lynn. Adaman then pulls out a flute.
"To call him, you'll need a flute like I have to do so." said Adaman. "Would you mind demonstrating, Mai?"
"Of course." said Mai.
"This is very important, so listen well." said Adaman. Mai takes out a white flute and plays a melody on it, which gets Luna's attention.
"Wyeeer!" shouts the Wyrdeer.
"That's a Celestica Flute that Mai just played." said Adaman. "It's a precious tool that can be used to call on Wyrdeer so you can ride upon him!"
"That can come in handy." said Luan.
"It's said that Celestica Flutes were gifts from almighty Sinnoh itself; and now, this one is yours!" said Adaman.
"Wow." said Luna. Adaman hands the flute to her.
"It's not that grand a gesture, really. I can't play a flute for the life of me." said Adaman.
"See if you can play that melody." said Mai.
"I'll try." said Luna. She doesn't know why, but holding a musical instrument in her hands felt natural; she puts the flute to her mouth and plays the melody she heard Mai play perfectly, making Wyrdeer respond. It walks over to Luna and hands a strange small pink tablet to her.
"What's that?" asked Lola. The mysterious object starts to flash, making the Louds hold their heads as a sharp pain goes through them.
"What's wrong?!" asked Lana as she grips her head.
"It feels like my head's being split open!" said Lynn.
"Are you all okay?!" asked Adaman with concern. As the Louds were experiencing their pain, an image appears before their eyes of a man with brown hair and a receding hairline, wearing a green sweater over a plaid, long-sleeved, light green dress shirt; light brown pants, and brown shoes. After their vision, their pain stops.
"What was that?" asked Lori as she releases her head.
"Did you guys see something during that?" asked Luan.
"I saw a man." said Lori.
"A man?" replied Adaman. Lincoln takes out one of his art canvases and painted what he saw.
"Was this the man you all saw?" asked Lincoln as he shows everyone the image he just witnessed and painted.
"That's him!" said Leni.
"I feel like I... know him." said Lana.
"Perhaps that object awoke a memory we lost." said Lisa. Lincoln thinks for a while before his eyes widen.
"This is our father!" said Lincoln.
"I... I think you're right." said Lori.
"Daddy!" said the twins in unison.
"Lynn Loud Sr." said Lynn.
"I remember him now!" said Leni.
"This was an unexpected event." said Mai.
"What does it mean?" asked Adaman.
"Could a Pokemon have something to do with why we appeared in these lands?" asked Lisa.
"Maybe almighty Sinnoh brought you all here for a reason?" suggested Adaman.
"Interesting theory." said Lisa. "I have a feeling that we'll find answers to our question as we continue to explore this region."
"Perhaps you will." said Adaman. "But for now, focus on helping calm Lord Kleavor."
"You got it." said Lincoln.
"Now, use the Celestica Flute wisely and gallop across the land with the great Wyrdeer!" said Mai.
"Who's gonna ride him?" asked Lori.
"I will." said Luna.
"Can I ride with you?" asked Lana.
"I suppose Wyrdeer can handle both of you at once." said Adaman. Luna then lifts Lana and sets her on top of Wyrdeer in front of herself.
"Let's go!" said Lincoln. Wyrdeer then gallops off, while Lily follows on Bibarel, Lola on her Ponyta, and Lisa on her Stantler.
"I hope we get Pokemon we can ride on soon." said Luan.
"I'm sure we will someday." said Lori.
"We have a long walk ahead of us." said Lincoln.
The Louds have recovered a memory of their pasts. What other ones will they uncover as their work with the Galaxy Team continues?
