The Work Continues
The Galaxy Team go over what they were going to do now that they have quelled Lord Kleavor's fury.
"I wish to explore the Grandtree Arena to learn more about the Pokemon that live within." said Lisa.
"I want to know more about them also." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, maybe I can find more for my team." said Lynn.
"Me, too." said Lori.
"I want to find some more cute ones." said Lola.
"We should also train our Pokemon in case those Miss Fortune Bandits show up again." said Luan.
"Who are they?" asked Lian.
"Three female scoundrels who aim to steal the pokedex we have been working on." said Lisa.
"We've went up against them three times and we defeated them every time." said Lynn with a smirk.
"But the one called Clover is more interested in our brother, Lincoln, more than the pokedex." said Lori with a smirk, making Lincoln blush.
"Yes, we are quite certain she is quite smitten with him." said Lisa with a big grin, making Lincoln's blush intensify, and Irida growl.
"If Lincoln should be with a girl, then it should be me." said Irida with a pout, making the Loud sisters giggle, and Akari growl. Lincoln then rubs his chest as it was a little sore from the hits he took from Lord Kleavor.
"You okay, bro?" asked Luna.
"I'll be fine." said Lincoln. "Lord Kleavor hits hard, but I can handle it." Irida moves over to Lincoln, opens his jacket, and lifts his shirt up, showing some light bruising.
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Irida asked as she rubs Lincoln's chest, making his face turn red.
"I-I-I'm sure." Lincoln stutters while his sisters giggle.
Meanwhile, in the Crimson Mirelands; the Miss Fortune Bandits were looking over a stone slab that had strange markings on it.
"Too easy." said Charm.
"How much do you think it's worth?" asked Coin.
"Who knows?" asked Charm. Clovers suddenly growls, surprising Coin and Charm.
"What is wrong?" Coin asked her fellow bandit.
"It better not be about that Lincoln boy again." said Charm.
"I can't help it." said Clover. "I really want him to be my future husband!"
"Deal with it, later." said Charm, making Clover look away with a huff.
Back at the Heartwood, after Irida was done rubbing Lincoln's chest, the Louds spread out to explore the area around the Heartwood.
Lori was currently exploring the southern edge of the Heartwood while Lily was with her as she rode on her Bibarel. As she does, she sees several yellow Pokemon that looked like three hexagons with faces, all joined together, with two wings and antenna.
"What are those?" asked Lori. She looks among the yellow Pokemon and sees that one had a red triangle on the forehead of the bottom face; feeling that it was unique, she lets out her Staravia, getting the yellow Pokemon's attention.
"Staravia, use Gust!" said Lori. Staravia flaps her wings, releasing a gust of wind that hits the opposing Pokemon, knocking it down to the ground; she quickly takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Pokemon, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles once before a firework shoots out.
"Lowi caught it." said Lily. Lori walks to her pokeball and picks it up.
"What Pokemon do you think this is?" asked Lori. "I'll ask Lisa next time I see her."
As Lori and Lily head further along the southern edge of the Heartwood, Lily sees a tree that was shaking; out of curiosity, she has her Bibarel ram it, making a pink cherry-like Pokemon fall out of it.
"Is that a Pokemon?" asked Lori. Lily giggles as she takes out her Beautilfy's pokeball and lets her out of it.
"Silva Wind!" said Lily, making Beautifly flap her wings, releasing a blast of wind with specks of silver in it at the Pokemon, hitting it, dealing super effective damage; the Pokemon responds by leaping at Beautifly and ramming her. "Use Air Cuttah!" Beautifly flaps her wings, releasing a blade of air that hits the Pokemon, dealing super effective damage, and knocking her down.
"Throw a pokeball at it, Lily." said Lori. Lily giggles as she takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the cherry Pokemon, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before a firework pops out, making Lily clap her hands in delight.
"Good work, Lily." said Lori.
With Lynn and Lola, they were checking out a northern part of the Heartwood when Lynn sees a tunnel entrance.
"I wonder what's in there?" asked Lynn.
"Don't know; let's check it out." said Lola. They walk to the tunnel and entered it. They go down the tunnel until they reached a small cavern. As they were looking around, Lynn sees a light blue, humanoid Pokemon with three gray ridges on its head, lifting a large rock up and down above its head.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Lynn. She continued watching the Pokemon bench press the rock. "I don't know why, but something about the strength of that Pokemon makes me want to catch it."
"Well, what's stopping you?" asked Lola; Lynn looks around.
"Nothing." replied Lynn. She pulls out Dartrix's pokeball and lets him out of it. Machop sees Lynn and Dartrix and throws the rock it was lifting aside before going into a battle stance. "Looks like this guy wants to fight; I like that. Dartrix, use Gust!" Dartrix flaps his wings and releases a gust of wind that hits the Pokemon, dealing super effective damage to it. The Pokemon charges at Dartrix and repeatedly punches him, knocking him back.
"Okay, Dartrix; Magical Leaf!" said Lynn. Dartrix releases glowing green leaves from his wings and they hit the Pokemon, knocking it down.
"Catch it!" shouts Lola. Lynn nods and pulls out an empty pokeball. She throws it at the Pokemon and hits it; it gets sucked into the pokeball. After several seconds, a firework shoots out of the pokeball.
"Yeah! I got a new Pokemon!" cheered Lynn.
"What Pokemon is that?" asked Lola.
"Don't know; strong little guy, though." replied Lynn. Some movement from a nearby stalagmite gets their attention; they both look to see a small, pink, egg-shaped Pokemon with a ponytail, wearing dark pink pants with a white waistline; come out from behind it.
"It's so cute!" said Lola. "I am catching this one!"
"Go for it!" said Lynn.
"I don't want to hurt it." said Lola as she looks at the cute Pokemon.
"What are you gonna do?" asked Lynn.
"I'll just try throwing a pokeball and hope I catch it." said Lola who does so, hitting the Pokemon, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles before a firework shoots out of it.
"Nice one, Lola." said Lynn.
"What Pokemon did I catch?" asked Lola.
"We'll ask Lisa next time we see her." said Lynn.
Meanwhile, with Lincoln and his Pokemon, Lisa, and Irida; they were checking out the area around the Grandtree Arena.
"Tell me something; why are you working on that pokedex tome of yours?" asked Irida.
"We believe it would help Pokemon and humans coexist." said Lisa.
"What do you mean?" asked Irida.
"We feel that the main reason that some people are afraid of Pokemon is because they don't know a lot about them." said Lincoln. "If we finish the pokedex and make copies for everyone to read; they'll learn more about them, and perhaps allow them to live together in peace."
"You and your siblings are all doing that work to do that?" asked Irida as she looks at Lincoln with admiration.
"I like Pokemon." said Lincoln. "And I would really like for everyone to feel the same way me and my sisters feel about them as well." He then feels Irida's hand on his cheek as she turns him towards her; suddenly, Irida kisses him on the lips, making his face turn red, Lisa giggle, and for some reason, a loud scream heard from over a mountain range to the northwest.
"What was that scream?" asked Lisa. After Irida breaks the kiss, and Lincoln's blush fades, they all explore and soon come across a green, mantislike Pokemon with sharp-looking blades at the ends of its arms.
"What's that Pokemon?" asked Lincoln.
"I believe it is known as a Scyther." said Lisa.
"That is what Lord Kleavor used to be like." said Irida.
"So, Scyther is the pre-evolved of a Kleavor." said Lisa. "Fascinating; perhaps I shall capture one." She then takes out her Pikachu's pokeball and lets her out of it.
"Be wary." said Irida. "Scythers are fierce warriors, much like Lord Kleavor."
"I appreciate the advice." said Lisa. The Scyther sees Lisa's Pikachu and gets into a battle stance; it moves quickly at Pikachu and rams into her.
"That was Quick Attack!" said Lincoln.
"Pikachu, use Thunder Shock!" said Lisa. Pikachu releases a jolt of electricity from her body and hits the Scyther, dealing super effective damage; the Scyther reacts by releases a blast of wind that had specks of silver in it at Pikachu, hitting her.
"That was Silver Wind." said Irida.
"Pikachu, use Spark!" said Lisa. Pikachu runs at the Scyther while coated in electricity and rams it, dealing super effective damage, and causing static electricity to surge through its body.
"It's paralyzed." said Lincoln. Lisa takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Scyther, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles a few times before a firework shoots out of it.
"Success." said Lisa. "And I believe that a Scyther at mine's current level would know Quick Attack, Silver Wind, Aerial Ace, and Double Hit."
"Here." said Lincoln as he pulls a Potion out of his satchel. "Give this to Scyther to heal his wounds."
"What's that?" asked Irida.
"It's a tonic made from natural ingredients that's used to heal Pokemon." said Lincoln.
"Do you heal your Pokemon after battles?" asked Irida.
"We always heal them up." said Lincoln. Irida looks at him with adoration, making Lincoln blush a bit.
"I wish to gather more knowledge of this species of Pokemon." said Lisa.
"Let's go on then." said Lincoln.
With Luan, she was busy training her Pokemon; they got stronger and her Mime. Jr learned Mimic. The second she did, she began to glow.
"My Mime Jr's evolving!" said Luan. She watched as Mime Jr began to glow; when the glowing stopped, Mime Jr now had a more humanoid form. She had a pale pink head with two blue growths that resembled clown hair coming out from the sides of her head, a white torso with a magenta spot in the middle, light pink arms and legs, white hands, and dark blue feet.
"I wonder what Mime Jr is now?" asked Luan. "I'll see if Lisa knows when I meet up with her and the others.
With Luna, her Staravia and Dustox got stronger, and her Kricketune learned Night Slash.
Lucy trained her Pokemon as well; her Drifloon got stronger, as did her Zubat, and her Kadabra learned Psycho Cut. During the training, her Zubat began to glow.
"My Zubat is evolving." said Lucy. She watched as her Zubat began to grow; when she stopped glowing, she had visible eyes, her mouth was bigger, and she had feet on the end of her legs. "I wonder what my Zubat is now. I'll ask Lisa when I see her."
Lana was also training her Pokemon; her Mothim got stronger, her Monferno got stronger, and her Munchlax learned Bite.
Leni trained her Pokemon; her Espeon learned Baby-Doll Eyes, and her Buneary got stronger.
An hour later, everyone meets at the entrance to the Heartwood and go over what they all accomplished.
"I believe that Lori caught a female Combee; she should know Gust and Struggle Bug." said Lisa.
"Thanks, Lisa." said Lori.
"The Pokemon that Lynn caught is a male Machop and he should know Tackle, Rock Smash, and Bullet Punch." said Lisa.
"Thanks, sis." said Lynn.
"What about my new cute Pokemon?" asked Lola with anticipation.
"Your Pokemon is a female Happiny, she should know Tackle, Fairy Wind, and Baby-Doll Eyes." said Lisa.
"What's that rock she has with her?" asked Lori as she points at an oval-shaped stone Lola's Happiny was holding.
"Not certain; but she does have an attachment to it." said Lisa.
"I guess I'll let her keep it." said Lola.
"The Pokemon that Lily acquired is a female Cherubi." said Lisa.
"Chewubi." said Lily.
"Yes, youngest sister; and she should know Absorb, Tackle, Stun Spore, Draining Kiss, and Energy Ball." said Lisa.
"What's my Zubat now?" asked Lucy.
"I believe she is a Golbat now." said Lisa.
"Wicked." said Lucy.
"And Luan's Mime Jr is now a Mr. Mime." said Lisa.
"Why is it called a Mr. Mime when it's a girl?" asked Lincoln.
"Yeah, that does seem weird." said Lola.
"I'll call her Ms. Mime." said Luan.
"Very well." said Lisa.
"What should we do now?" asked Lincoln.
"Let us report back to Commander Kamado." said Lisa.
"Yeah, we should let him know that the Kleavor situation is taken care of." said Luna.
"Let us head back to Jubilife Village." said Lisa.
"Have a safe journey." said Lian.
"I... hope to see you again, Lincoln." Irida says as she and Lincoln look away with blushes on their faces while the Loud sisters giggle, and Akari frowns.
As the Galaxy Team head back to the village, Lincoln's sisters were bugging him about Irida.
"So; anything happen between you two we should know about?" asked Lori.
"N-N-Nothing you need to know about." said Lincoln with a blush.
"What about the kiss?" asked Lisa with a grin, making the rest of the Loud sisters squeal with delight.
"She kissed you?!" Lori asked her brother with a big smile on her face.
"On the lips." said Lisa, making the Loud sisters squeal so loudly that they could be heard from Jubilife Village.
The Galaxy Team has obtained new Pokemon for their teams. What else will they do as their work continues?
