"So what's the plan now?" asked Lori.
"We should just head back to Jubilife Village and get something to eat." said Lincoln.
"I'm game." said Lana.
"I could use a bite to eat." said Luan.
"Maybe along the way I can train up my new Machop." said Lynn.
"I'm sure we can find some wild Pokemon to battle against." said Lincoln.
The group makes their way through the Obsidian Fieldlands towards the village. Along the way, Lynn has her Machop battle as many Pokemon as they could find; he soon learns Double Hit.
An hour later, the Galaxy Team Survey Corps reach the village and head towards Galaxy Hall.
"You all go on without me." said Leni. "I wanna see if Anthe has any new clothes design ideas we can work on." She then runs off to the clothier shop. Just then, Professor Laventon comes running over to them.
"Greetings, Professor." said Lisa.
"You should all hurry and report to Commander Kamado." said Professor Laventon.
"Let's go." said Lana. The group enters Galaxy Hall when they get to it and head up to Commander Kamado's office where he was waiting for them. Lincoln explained to Commander Kamado about Lord Kleavor and how they quelled its frenzy.
"Well done; I have already received the reports of your exploits." said Commander Kamado. "By quelling Lord Kleavor's frenzy, you restored peace of mind to Hisui's people."
"Glad to help." said Lynn.
"You are strangers to us, ones who appeared from who knows where, yet you have served the Galaxy Team admirably." said Commander Kamado. "I admit you have earned yourself some degree of recognition, but things are not settled yet."
"Something wrong?" asked Lincoln.
"I've received word that there are other Pokemon nobles falling prey to such frenzies elsewhere in Hisui." said Commander Kamado. "So carry on with your research and survey duties, and prove that you truly are an asset to us."
"Yes, sir." said Lincoln.
"Your fellow Survey Corps members are likely at the Wallflower; go and join them." said Commander Kamado.
"Sure; we could use a bite to eat anyway." said Lana.
"Let's report to Captain Cyllene about our progress with the pokedex." suggested Lincoln.
"A splendid idea, brother." said Lisa. They stop by Captain Cyllene's office and show her the progress on the pokedex.
"Quite impressive." said Captain Cyllene. "I believe you all earned an increase in rank." She then pulls out rank stars for the Loud siblings and gives them each one.
"Thank you, ma'am." said Lori.
"Keep up the good work, and give one to your sister, Leni." said Captain Cyllene.
"Okay." said Luan. Moments later, Lincoln and his sisters walked out of Galaxy Hall; Leni walks over to them.
"How's Anthe doing?" Lori asked her sister.
"We have some new ideas we can't wait to try out." said Leni.
"I hope you all finish them soon." said a woman who was a fan of Leni's work who over her.
"Women here really admire your work, Leni." said Rei.
"Perhaps when you retire from the Galaxy Team, you can work with Anthe all the time." suggested Akari.
"I like that idea." said Leni. Lincoln then gives Leni a rank star.
"Here, Leni; Captain Cyllene believes we each earned an increase in our ranks." said Lincoln.
"Thanks, Linky." replied Leni, taking the star.
Everyone heads over to the Wallflower and order several plates of potato mochi.
"The whole village is gossiping up a storm about the Loud siblings, you know." said Beni. "They've got quite some luck to have come back unharmed after facing off against Lord Kleavor."
"We took a few hits, but nothing me and Lincoln couldn't handle." said Lynn.
"Yes, we daresay that the Louds were well prepared." said Professor Laventon. "And they were a quick study of how Kleavor moved in battle, from what I heard! All in all, it was a very good show! A victory well earned!"
"Victory tastes almost as good as Beni's potato mochi." said Lynn as she stuffs one into her mouth.
"We can feel safer going about our Survey Corps duties now, thanks to all your efforts." said Akari. "And I have some new crafting recipes that Lana and Lola can use."
"Yeah!" said Lana.
"More stuff for our little store!" said Lola.
"The recipe is for Smoke Bombs." said Akari.
"Nice." said Lynn with a grin.
"And now that we need not worry about being mauled by Kleavor, either; let's take our chance to study all the Pokemon that call the Obsidian Fieldlands their home!" said Professor Laventon.
"You got it!" said Lincoln.
"And Leni, we'll let you hold onto Dewott." said Lana.
"Really?" Leni replied.
"Yeah, Lana and I have three Pokemon on our teams, so we feel that you should have her to yourself." said Lola.
"Thanks, you two." said Leni.
Later that night, while everyone was sleeping, Lincoln was having another dream.
In a small cottage in a snowy forest, an adult Lincoln was waking up on a futon in a large bedroom with a large dresser that had a mirror on it, a rug, a nightstand next to him, and something to keep the room warm.
As Dream Lincoln wakes up, he looks around the room and sees several, hand-painted portraits; one was of him and someone who looked like an adult version of Clover, another was of him and the adult Clover with a baby in her arms, and the third one was of him, the adult Clover, and a little girl with black hair, braids like Clover's and a tuft of white hair on the front of her head.
Dream Lincoln gets dressed and exits the bedroom where he sees the adult Clover, and all their Pokemon in a living room with her at a fire with a wok on it, making dumplings.
"Good morning, dear husband." said Dream Clover.
"Good morning, Clover." said Dream Lincoln.
"What do you have planned today?" asked Dream Clover.
"Just want to spend more time with you." said Dream Lincoln, making Dream Clover smile. Just then, a door next to Dream Lincoln and Clover's room slides open and the girl that was in one of the portraits that Dream Lincoln saw; she was being followed by a round black Pokemon with small arms and feet, and looked like it was wrapped in a yellowish orange, conial wrap with orange trim.
"Good morning, Chiosa." said Dream Clover with a smile.
"Good morning, Mother. Good morning, Father." said the girl now known as Chiosa.
"Good morning, Chiosa." said Dream Lincoln.
'Why am I not surprised by what's going on?' Dream Lincoln asked himself. Chiosa runs over to Dream Clover and wraps her arms around her legs in a hug, and for some reason, prompting Dream Lincoln to get up and walk over to the two and embrace them as well.
"I love you both." said Dream Lincoln. Dream Clover smiles as she turns Dream Lincoln's head towards her and brings her lips closer to his. All of a sudden, the cottage begins to shake.
"What's going on?!" asked Chiosa.
"Lincoln, wake up!" said Luan, waking Lincoln up from his dream.
"What's going on? Where am I?" asked Lincoln before he starts remembering where he was.
"You're in our room, Linky." said Leni who just finished getting dressed.
"We're going to the Wallflower for breakfast." said Luan.
"Fine." said Lincoln as he rubs the last bits of sleep out of his eyes.
"You okay?" asked Luan.
"Oh, I was just dreaming about Clover again and..." Lincoln started to say before he quickly covers his mouth, but it was too late.
"YOU DID?!" exclaimed Leni and Luan with big grins on their faces.
"Yeah." said Lincoln with a frown.
"Sorry, Lincoln." said Luan.
"Let me get dressed and we'll meet up with the others." said Lincoln.
"Okay, Linky." said Leni as she and Luan exit the house they were sharing. Lincoln gets dressed while thinking back to his dream.
'I don't know why, but the thought of me and Clover getting married doesn't bother me.' Lincoln thought to himself with a smile. After he gets dressed, he exits the house and walks over to the Wallflower where his sisters, Akari, and Rei were at several tables, with his sisters having big smiles on their faces, and Akari had a pout on hers.
"Let me guess." said Lincoln. "Leni and Luan told the rest of you?"
"Yep!" said Lola.
"Tell us everything!" said Lori.
"Well, in this dream; me and Clover were adults, we were married, we lived in a cottage in a snowy forest, and we had a daughter named Chiosa who had some Pokemon we haven't seen yet." replied Lincoln.
"Did you and Clover kiss?" asked Lynn with a smirk.
"We were about to, but like before, Luan woke me up before we could." replied Lincoln, prompting the other Loud sisters to glare at Luan.
"Nice going, Luan." said Luna, bitterly.
"How many more of Lincoln's dream moments with Clover are you going to ruin?" asked Lucy from behind Luan, scaring her.
"Hey, I didn't know what Lincoln was dreaming about." replied Luan.
"Let's just figure out what we're going to do next." said Lori.
"Let's us investigate the area that people are calling Sandgem Flats." said Lisa. "We haven't explored that area."
"Maybe we'll find some Pokemon for our teams." suggested Lana.
"I'm gonna stay and mind our store." said Lola.
"Okay." said Lincoln.
"Let's hurry up and eat so we can get started." said Lisa, prompting everyone to continue eating their meals.
The Louds, except for Lola, are about to explore a new part of the Obsidian Fieldlands. What will they discover their as their work with the Galaxy Corps continues?
