Getting Answers, and More Requests
Lincoln, Lisa, Lynn, Luna, and Lana all return to Jubilife Village after their strange ordeal with the mysterious domes that appeared in the Obsidian Fieldlands.
"Hi, everyone!" said Leni from the clothing store.
"Hey, Leni." said Lincoln.
"Did you put more Pokemon stuff in the pokedex?" asked Leni.
"Yeah, but not in a way we expected." said Lynn.
"What do you mean?" asked Leni.
"We're gonna talk to Professor Laventon." said Lincoln.
"Okay, I'll be right here." said Leni. Lincoln, Lisa, Lynn, Luna, and Lana all head to Galaxy Hall and go inside; they find Professor Laventon in his lab, going over some of his research when he hears the Loud siblings enter.
"Greetings, Louds." said Professor Laventon.
"Hey, Professor." said Lincoln.
"How was your excursion?" asked Professor Laventon.
"It was very surprising." said Lisa.
"What do you mean?" asked Professor Laventon.
"We have a lot to tell you about." said Luna. The Loud siblings tell Professor Laventon about their encounters with the strange domes and everything that happened in them; they even described all the Pokemon they saw as well.
"I have no idea what these domes could be." said Professor Laventon. "But I do know about some of the Pokemon you described."
"What are they?" asked Lana.
"Well, the pink one with the long tongue is a Lickitung, and I do believe the rock snake one is an Onix." said Professor Laventon. "But those variety of Pokemon aren't usually found in the Obsidian Fieldlands."
"Even my Sneasel?" asked Luna.
"Yes." said Professor Laventon. "Did you find anything else in these domes?"
"Just this stuff." said Luna as she takes out the golden orb she found; prompting Lincoln to take out the blue, four-pointed rock he found, and Lynn taking out the red, four-pointed rock she found.
"Those are very valuable items you found!" said Professor Laventon.
"What are they?" asked Luna as she and her siblings examine the objects.
"That gold orb is a Nugget." said Professor Laventon. "It can be sold for 10,000 pokedollars at a store."
"I can use that money to pay back Lola for what she loaned me." said Luna.
"That red stone that you have, Lynn, is a Star Piece." said Professor Laventon. "That can be sold for 12,000 pokedollars."
"Yes! Now I can pay back Lola also." said Lynn.
"And Lincoln; that blue stone you found is a Comet Shard." said Professor Laventon. "You can sell that for 25,000 pokedollars."
"Woohoo!" cheered Lincoln. "I can definitely pay back Lola with that!"
"Lucky." said Lana.
"But what about those mysterious domes?" asked Lisa.
"I am unsure what to do at this time." said Professor Laventon. "I might need to do some research in the hopes I'll find some clue about what they are."
"Understood, Professor Laventon." said Lisa.
"But we should all be careful if we see more of them." said Lincoln.
"Yeah." said Luna.
The Loud siblings head for the village store and sell the objects they all found; after that, they head to Lola and Lana's store, and Luna, Lincoln, and Lynn; give Lola all the money they got, much to her delight.
"Thank you!" said Lola.
"I'm actually hoping we find more of those domes so I can find stuff to sell to pay back Lola." said Lana.
"I, as well." said Lisa.
"We shouldn't fool around with those." said Lincoln.
"I concur." said Lisa.
"But we know it's safe to go into them." said Lana.
"Yeah, but the Pokemon within them are quite strong." said Lisa.
"I wouldn't mind having my Pokemon take them on." said Lynn as she does a few air punches. "They're a great workout."
"We should at least train our Pokemon before we even think about going into those domes." said Lincoln.
"Fine." said Lynn.
"So, what now?" asked Lana.
"Let's just grab some lunch and plan on what to do next." said Lincoln.
Later, at the Wallflower, the Loud siblings, Professor Laventon, Akari, and Rei were all having a meal together; Lincoln, Lisa, Lynn, Luna, and Lana tell the siblings who didn't go out with them about what they went through.
"At least you're all okay and in one piece." said Lori. "But I wish I was there to find valuable stuff."
"Yeah, you still owe me for my loan, Lori!" shouts Lola.
"I'll pay you back as soon as I can." said Lori.
"Just hope more of those dome things show up somewhere when we get there." said Leni.
"So, where are we going next?" asked Lucy from beside everyone, scaring them.
"Not certain at this time." said Lisa.
"I'm just gonna look around town and see if anyone needs help with something." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, maybe someone will give us stuff we can use or sell." said Luan.
"So, you can pay me back?" asked Lola with a scowl.
"Yeah, sure." Luan nervously replied.
"I believe the chalkboard in my lab has requests you can all look into." said Professor Laventon.
"Thanks, sir." said Lincoln. After everyone ate, the group head for Professor Laventon's lab and look at the requests. After finding a few they felt they could do, they all head out.
Lily and Luan go to a woman wearing a brown kimono named Radisa who was standing around on the second floor of the Galaxy Hall.
"Oh, splendid." said Radisa. "You came along at a good time."
"What did you need help with?" asked Luan.
"I'm looking for a pickling stone, you see. Would you mind lending me a hand?" asked Radisa.
"Sure." said Luan.
"It needs to be the right size to fit atop one of my pickling pots and heavy enough to put a nice, firm pressure on the pickles while they're fermenting." said Radisa. "Hmm... But I suppose it'll be hard for me to lift such a heavy thing from the pot... The best thing would be for the stone to lift itself up, actually..."
"You mean like Lily's Geodude?" asked Luan. Lily takes her Geodude's pokeball out of her satchel and lets him out of it, surprising the woman.
"Yes, that's what I was going to suggest!" said Radisa.
"We know where to find them, so we can go out and get one for you." said Luan.
"That would be splendid." said Radisa.
"Let's go, Lily." said Luan. Lily crawls onto her Bibarel, and she and Luan head out to the Obsidian Fieldlands.
Meanwhile, near the Fieldlands Camp, Luna and Lisa were looking around for someone who had a request.
"Excuse me." said a woman with dark skin, black hair that was done up in a bun, wearing an olive-green kimono. "Are you all here about the request I put up?"
"Are you the one called Yeo?" asked Lisa.
"Yes, I am." said the woman now known as Yeo. "I want to learn more about Kricketot. I mean, how do they make those sounds of theirs? It's a musical mystery like no other."
"I believe we have all the information you need in the pokedex, ma'am." said Lisa, holding out the pokedex.
"Let me have a look." said Yeo. Lisa gives her the pokedex and Yeo begins reading it; she reads it for over a minute. "I see; Kricketots produce that curious sound by hitting their antennae together."
"Precisely." said Lisa. Yeo gives Lisa the pokedex back.
"I wonder if Anvin from the Supply Corps could put together an instrument with a similar shape to those antennae." said Yeo. "Thank you for giving out your pokedex to solve this tonal enigma; take these." She gives Lisa what appeared to be three yellow artichokes.
"I recall Lana using these to make Revives." said Lisa.
"Let's give them to her." said Luna.
"Very well." said Lisa.
Meanwhile, at Deertrack Heights; Lily and Luan were walking down a path, looking for some Geodudes.
"See a Geodude yet?" Luan asked Lily.
"No." said Lily as she rides on her Bibarel.
"Hey, guys!" Lincoln's voice calls out, making the two look to see Lincoln, his Pokemon, and Lori running after them.
"What are you guys doing here?" asked Luan.
"A farmer back in Jubilife Village needs our help with something." said Lori.
"Yeah, he's looking for a ground type Pokemon to help plow some fields to make more fields to make more crops." said Lincoln.
"And we remember that Geodudes are part ground, so we came here to find one." said Lori.
"We're looking for a Geodude also." said Luan.
"Geodude!" shouts Lily as she points nearby to a couple Geodudes that are wandering about.
"There's one for each of our requests." said Lori.
"Let's do it." said Lincoln as he looks back at his Pokemon. "Ready, Buizel?"
"Bui!" shouts Buizel as he nods in response.
"Okay; use Aqua Jet!" said Lincoln. His Buizel coats his body in water as he rockets at one of the Geodudes and slams into it, dealing super effective damage.
"I got this." said Lori as she takes an empty pokeball and tosses it at the Geodude, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles once before a firework shoots out from it.
"Good one, Lori." said Lincoln.
Lily and Bibarel were facing the other Geodude.
"Bibawel, Wahta Gun!" said Lily. Bibarel fires a stream of water out of her mouth and it hits the Geodude, doing super effective damage.
"Good work, Lily." said Luan before she takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at the Geodude, hitting it, and sucking it in. It wiggled around until a firework shoots up.
"Yay!" cheered Lily, clapping.
"Let's get those Geodudes back to the village." said Lincoln.
The Loud siblings head back to Jubilife Village and give the Geodudes to Radisa and the farmer; after that, they join the others at the Wallflower for dinner.
"Thanks to the Geodude that Lori caught, there are more fields for farming." said Lincoln.
"And the farmer said that he'll grow stuff for us to use." said Lori.
"And that lady we helped was satisfied with the Geodude we acquired for her." said Lisa.
Once everyone ate, they all decided to call it a day and head back to their houses.
Soon, night came and everyone was lying down on their futons, ready for some well-deserved shut eye.
"Night, Leni and Luan." said Lincoln.
"Night, Linky." said Leni.
"Don't dream about Clover too much." said Luan, making Lincoln blush.
The Louds have completed a day of research and requests. What else will they do as their work with the Galaxy Team Survey Corps continues?
