A New Mission
The next morning, the Loud siblings wake up, get dressed, and exit the houses they were residing in.
"Morning, everyone." said Lincoln as he and his Pokemon step outside.
"Morning, Lincoln." replied the sisters that didn't share the house he was staying in with.
"Did you dream about Clover again?" asked Lola with a big grin while the rest of the Loud sisters look at him with excitement and anticipation on their faces.
"No." said Lincoln as he blushes.
"Dang it." said the Loud sisters.
"Maybe next time." said Luan.
"And you better not wake him up from the good part!" said Lori.
"How am I supposed to know what he's dreaming of when I do?" asked Luan.
"Figure it out." said Lori.
"Can we just head over to the Wallflower for some breakfast?" Lincoln asked his sisters.
"Sure." his sisters replied.
As the Loud siblings head towards the Wallflower, they hear a voice call out.
"Wow! The Galaxy Team hairdresser really is... dare I say... cutting edge!" a female voice says. The Loud siblings look towards the village salon and see a young woman with red hair, wearing a navy-blue tunic with a light blue collar, leggings that are red on the top half and gray on the bottom, along with red and black boots, and a satchel strapped around her torso.
"I wonder who that is." said Luna.
"I don't know." said Lori. The woman turns towards the Loud siblings and her eyes widen when she sees Lincoln, or more specifically his hair.
"Incredible!" the woman says as she runs to Lincoln and strokes his hair. "The dye job is so well done I would've believed this is your natural hair color!"
"That is his natural hair color." said Lori, surprising the woman.
"How does someone his age have white hair already?" asked the woman.
"We don't know." said Lynn.
"And just who are you?" asked Lola.
"Oh, my apologies; my name is Arezu!" said the woman now known as Arezu.
"I'm Lori Loud." said Lori.
"I'm Leni Loud." said Leni.
"I'm Luna Loud." said Luna.
"I'm Luan Loud." said Luan.
"I'm Lynn Loud." said Lynn.
"I'm Lola Loud." said Lola.
"I'm Lana Loud." said Lana.
"I am Lisa Loud." said Lisa.
"I'm Lincoln; and this adorable one here is Lily." said Lincoln as he picks up his baby sister, making her giggle.
"Wait!" said Arezu. "You're the Loud siblings?"
"Yeah." Lynn replied.
"You're the ones who quelled Lord Kleavor's fury, aren't you?" Arezu asked the Loud siblings.
"Yes, we are." said Lisa.
"I knew it!" said Arezu. "You all have developed quite the reputations for yourselves."
"We don't like to brag." said Lola.
"Yes, you do, Lola." said Lana.
"QUIET!" shouts Lola.
"You all quelled one of Sinnoh's almighty chosen ones!" said Arezu. "Some people are actually kinda scared of you all for doing something so bold."
"Some people are more noticably afraid of our sister, Lola's, temper." said Luan.
"Anyway, I'm a warden of the Diamond Clan. My special skill is giving haircuts. Real nice to meet you!" said Arezu.
"It's nice to meet you too." said Lana.
"I thought I recognized your tunic." said Leni. "It's like the one that Mai wears."
"So, you met her?" asked Arezu.
"She had us help her with an Alpha Kricketune on Deertrack Heights." said Luna.
"Oh, so you're the ones she told me about." said Arezu. "She said you earned Lord Wyrdeer's favor."
"So, what brings you here to Jubilife Village?" asked Lincoln, before Arezu suddenly remembers her answer to Lincoln's question.
"Oh, snip!" said Arezu. "I came to talk to your Commander Kamado. See you round!" She then hurries into the Galaxy Hall building.
"She seemed nice." said Leni.
"I guess." said Luna.
"Hey, everyone!" they hear Rei call out, making them look to see him and Akari at the Wallflower.
"We got some tables for us." said Akari.
"Let's get breakfast." Lori says to her siblings. The Louds head over to the Wallflower and sit with Rei and Akari and order some breakfast for themselves.
While they ate, Professor Laventon comes out of Galaxy Hall and walks over to them.
"Hello, everyone." said Professor Laventon.
"Greetings, Professor." said Lisa.
"Commander Kamado wants you all in his office." said Professor Laventon.
"What do you think he wants?" Lynn asked her siblings, Rei, and Akari
"Let's hurry and finish eating so we can find out." said Lincoln.
"Yeah, he can be very impatient." said Lori. The Loud siblings hurry and finish their meals; they then go to Galaxy Hall and head up to Commander Kamado's office where they see him, along with Arezu, discussing something.
"Hrmm... So, it's come to Ursaluna as well..." said Commander Kamado. "This suggests that even Pokemon that are not nobles can become frenzied... I have received no word from Adaman or Irida... But this is something we can simply ignore. In any case, you have my thanks, Miss Arezu. You did well to inform us of Ursaluna's situation."
"No problem!" said Arezu. "Adaman's got his hands full running our clan and all, and Ursaluna's warden wouldn't even give me the time of day... So, the Galaxy Team are the only ones I can turn to about this."
"Ursaluna's warden is Mistress Calaba of the Pearl Clan, is it not?" asked Commander Kamado. "Of all the wardens, she is the most narrow-minded; ahem! Bound by tradition. She likely doesn't take kindly to outsiders meddling in her affairs." He turned to see the Loud siblings enter his office.
"What's going on?" asked Lori.
"Hi, Arezu." said Leni.
"Greetings, everyone." Arezu says with a smile.
"Loud siblings; I have a new mission for you." said Commander Kamado.
"What is it?" asked Lincoln.
"I order you all to study Ursaluna in the Crimson Mirelands; I permit you to show your strength if necessary." said Commander Kamado.
"Sure thing, Commander." said Lynn.
Moments later, they were in Commander Cyllene's office.
"The next area you will be sent to investigate will be the Crimson Mirelands." said Captain Cyllene. "You will find the Pokemon living there to be more fearsome than those in the Obsidian Fieldlands."
"I'm sure we can handle it." said Lynn.
"The landscape in that area will be harsher, with steep ravines and seaside cliffs; it is not welcoming." said Captain Cyllene.
"We will be cautious." said Lisa.
"At your current rank, you should be able to handle the Crimson Mirelands on your own." said Captain Cyllene. "Your destination there is a place within the mirelands is known as the Solaceon Ruins; that is where you'll find Ursaluna's warden." Moments later, the group exited the Galaxy Hall.
"So when should we go to the Crimson Mirelands?" asked Luna.
"As soon as we get supplies for the journey." said Lori.
"Me and Lola will start making Super Potions, Great Balls, and Revives we can use." said Lana.
"Good thing you learned about those Pep-Up Plants and how they can increase the healing qualities of regular Potions." said Lisa.
"Who's gonna stick around the village and who's going to the Crimson Mirelands?" asked Luna.
"I'm gonna look after me and Lana's store." said Lola.
"I'm gonna look for more of those wisps in the Obsidian Fieldlands." said Lucy.
"I'll stay here to look after Lily." said Lori.
"I'll go to the Crimson Mirelands." said Lincoln.
"I will go as well." said Lisa. "I'm curious as to what kinds of Pokemon live in that area and get data on them for the pokedex."
"I want to see what Pokemon are there also." said Lana.
"I'll come with also." said Luan.
"I'm in, also." said Luna.
"Me, too." said Leni.
"I wanna see if there's any Pokemon that'll give mine a good workout!" said Lynn.
"Looks like we figured out who's going and who's staying." said Lori.
"Then who's going to the Crimson Mirelands; let's head out!" said Lincoln, getting cheers from his siblings.
"Excuse me." Anthe's voice calls out, making everyone look to see her walking towards them.
"Hi, Anthe." said Leni.
"Can we help you with something?" asked Lori.
"I've been told about Hippopotas, which can be found around the Crimson Mirelands, have different appearences based of their gender." said Anthe.
"Me and some of my siblings are just about to go the Crimson Mirelands as soon as we're ready." said Leni.
"I feel like if I were able to see and compare them, it would inspire me to create more designs for my clothing." said Anthe. "Please; could you catch and show me both a male and female Hippopotas if you can find some?"
"Sure; we can help you with that." said Leni.
"Thank you very much." said Anthe. The Loud siblings then walked away to prepare for their mission to the Crimson Mirelands.
