Giving a Tour
After Nemona left, Lincoln goes to the Pokemon Center to get his Pokemon treated, and his Tera Orb recharged. Ten minutes later, he gets them back. Afterwards, he decides to call his family and friends to give them tours of Mesagoza and the Naranja Academy. He calls Clyde's device and uses video chat. When Clyde answers, he sees not only his parents, sisters, the McBrides, Rusty, Zach, and Liam with him; but also, Ronnie Anne and Bobby Santiago, his grandfather, Albert; and Luna's bandmates, in the Loud House's living room.
"Hi, everyone!" said Lincoln.
"Lincoln! Are you okay?!" asked Albert.
"I'm doing fine, Pop-Pop." said Lincoln.
"I'm so happy to hear that!" said Ronnie Anne, causing Lincoln's sisters to giggle, making Ronnie Anne blush.
"Where are you at?" asked Bobby.
"I'm in Mesagoza; the biggest city in the Paldea Region." said Lincoln.
"Well, I still can't believe what my daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters; except for Lily, did to you that night." said Albert.
"I couldn't believe that Lori was part of that." said Bobby as Lori looks away with shame.
"Ditto with Luna." said Sam, making Luna looks away with shame as well.
"I have to accept some of the blame as well." said Lincoln. "I went along with the bad luck thing. I just never expected them to just kick me out of the house the way they did."
"We all didn't." said Lynn Sr.
"So, what's it like in that Paldea Region place?" asked Ronnie Anne. "Is that stuff about those Pokemon things that Clyde mentioned to us true?" Lincoln responds by letting the Pokemon he had with him out of their pokeballs to show everyone who didn't see them earlier.
"Whoa." said Sam with astonishment.
"They look so cool!" said Ronnie Anne. Lincoln then tells them what kind of Pokemon they were, and shows the other ones he caught.
"I've never seen anything like them in my life." said Albert. Lincoln then returns his Pokemon to their pokeballs.
"Who's ready for the tour?" asked Lincoln. After everyone confirmed that they were, Lincoln starts with a walkaround of Mesagoza; showing everyone the sights, the stores, all the restaurants, and the people and Pokemon that were out and about.
"That city is so amazing." said Lori.
"I love all the clothing stores!" said Leni.
"And there sure are a lot of restaurants there." said Lynn Sr. Lincoln shows everyone the rest of the city before stopping at the stairs leading up to the academy.
"And here's what other students are calling the worse staircase in Paldea." said Lincoln as he shows the family how long it was.
"That's a LOT of steps to climb." said Rusty. Lincoln takes a deep breath and starts going up them. After about a minute, he reaches the top of the stairs and stood in front of the gates that lead to Naranja Academy.
"One good thing about having to walk up and down a long stairway, it's good exercise for my legs." said Lincoln. He then shows everyone the front of Naranja Academy, making them look in awe at it.
"That academy looks so rad." said Sam.
"It looks magnificent." said Albert.
"It looks like a palace!" says Lola.
"I thought the same thing when I first saw it." said Lincoln. He then walks to the academy and walks through the main doors. He then shows everyone the entrance hall. Lisa looked in awe at all the tall bookshelves.
"Such a large variety of books." said Lisa.
"That looks like a lot of reading." said Lynn Sr.
"Hello, Lincoln." Lincoln hears Mr. Clavell calling out to him. Lincoln looks to see Mr. Clavell walking over to him.
"Hello, Mr. Clavell." said Lincoln. He points his Rotom Phone at Mr. Clavell. "Everyone; this is Mr. Clavell, the director of Naranja Academy."
"Hello, Mr. Clavell. I'm Lynn Loud Sr; Lincoln's father." said Lynn Sr, making Mr. Clavell frown and cross his arms.
"The same father who, along with the rest of Lincoln's family, kicked him onto the street over a ridiculous superstition?" asked Mr. Clavell. A nervous look appeared on Lynn Sr's face.
"Lincoln told you?" asked Lynn Sr.
"When I first met him, he was in his pajamas and dirty, so I asked him why and he told me." replied Mr. Clavell. Lynn Sr and Rita look away with guilt.
"We are so sorry for what we did to him." said Lynn Sr. "We asked Lincoln to come home, but he wants to stay in Naranja Academy; so we're letting him to make it up to him."
"And not because you want to be far from his 'bad..." Mr. Clavell started to say.
"Please! We never want to hear the L-word ever again!" exclaimed Lynn Sr.
"I'm pleased to hear that." said Mr. Clavell.
"Anyway, Mr. Clavell; I'm giving my friends and family back home a tour of the academy." said Lincoln.
"Very well, Lincoln; I'll let you continue." said Mr. Clavell.
"Thanks, Mr. Clavell." said Lincoln. Mr. Clavell walks away. Lincoln then proceeds to continue the tour. He shows everyone the classrooms, along with introducing his teachers to his friends and family; he also shows everyone the Cafeteria and the School Store. Lincoln then arrives at the Schoolyard.
"And this is the Schoolyard." said Lincoln. "Students come here to either unwind or get some exercise; some come here to have Pokemon battles."
"Pokemon battles?" asked Albert. Just then, a student approaches Lincoln.
"Hey." said the student. "Want to have a Pokemon battle with me?"
"You bet." said Lincoln. He looks back at his family and friends on his Rotom Phone's screen. "Talk about perfect timing; this is a good chance to show you all what Pokemon battles are like." He lets his Rotom Phone hover in front of the battle arena so everyone can watch.
"Is your phone flying, Lincoln?" asked Ronnie Anne.
"Yeah. My Rotom Phone is amazing." said Lincoln.
Soon, Lincoln and the student were on a battle arena, facing each other. They each pull out a pokeball.
"Come out, Tynamo!" said the student, throwing the pokeball and releasing a white, eel-like Pokemon with a mouth that looked liked a four pointed star. Lincoln grabs his Rotom Phone from the air and points it at the Pokemon.
"Tynamo, the EleFish Pokemon. While one alone doesn't have much power, a chain of many Tynamo can be as powerful as lightning." said Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"That sounds like a lot of electricity." said Ronnie Anne after hearing what Lincoln's Rotom Phone said.
"Perhaps I can acquire one for myself someday and have it power my lab equipment?" said Lisa.
"Maybe power the rest of our house so we won't have to pay an electric bill ever again?" said Lynn Sr. Lincoln has his Rotom Phone proceed to broadcast the battle for everyone back in Royal Woods.
"Go, Spirgatito!" said Lincoln as he throws Sprigatito's pokeball and releases him.
"This should be good." said Ronnie Anne.
"Spirgatito, use Leafage!" said Lincoln. Sprigatito releases glowing green leaves from his neck leaves and they hit the Tynamo, knocking it back.
"Yeah! Go, Lincoln!" said Rusty.
"Tynamo, Charge Beam!" said the student. Tynamo fires a beam of electricty out of its mouth and hits Spirgatito, but not doing much damage to him.
"Good thing grass type Pokemon like Sprigatito are resistant to electric type moves." said Lincoln. Tynamo begins surging with energy.
"Charge Beam powers up the special attack strength of the Pokemon that uses it." said the student.
"Sprigatito, Hone Claws!" said Lincoln. Sprigatito extends claws from his paws and he became surrounded by an orange glow, increasing his attack strength and accuracy.
"Tynamo, Charge Beam!" said the student. Tynamo releases another beam of electricity from its mouth and it hits Sprigatito, doing a little more damage than the previous Charge Beam due to Tynamo's special attack strength being increased.
"Sprigatito, Bite!" said Lincoln. Sprigatito pounces at Tynamo and bites it, damaging it more than it originally would due to Hone Claws increasing Sprigatito's attack strength, and making Tynamo flinch. "Use Scratch, Sprigatito!" Sprigatito pounces at Tynamo and scratches it across the face, knocking it to the ground with swirly eyes. "Way to go, Sprigatito!"
"That was sure fun to watch." said Liam.
"You go, Linc!" said Lynn Jr. Tynamo's trainer returns Tynamo to its pokeball and walks to Lincoln.
"That was a great battle, man." said Tynamo's trainer. He extends a hand and Lincoln shakes it.
"See, Lynn? It literally wouldn't hurt to show good sportsmanship." said Lori. Lynn Jr looks away with shame. Tynamo's trainer gives Lincoln pokedollars and walks away. Lincoln's Rotom Phone floats back over to him, making him grab it and look at the screen.
"Why did that trainer give you money, Lincoln?" asked Rita.
"You see, Mom; after a battle between two trainers, the losing trainer has to give the winning trainer half the money they have on them." replied Lincoln. Everyone's jaws drop.
"Whoa! You can actually make money by creaming trainers in battles?!" asked Lynn Jr.
"Yeah." said Lincoln.
"Good work, Lincoln!" shouts a woman's voice from nearby.
"Who's that?" asked Ronnie Anne. Lincoln looks around while holding his Rotom Phone out and stops when he sees a woman with black hair with sidelocks in it, an x-shaped scar over her left eye, a black tracksuit, and yellow fingerless gloves and sneakers; standing on top of one of the climbing ladders. Lincoln lets out a sigh upon recognizing her.
"Hi, Ms. Dendra." said Lincoln. The woman, now known as Ms. Dendra, leaps high off the climbing ladder she was on, does a few midair flips, then lands right in front of Lincoln, while everyone at the Loud house watches.
"Whoa." said Lynn Jr in an impressed tone of voice.
"Hello, Lincoln!" said Ms. Dendra. "What brings you here?"
"I'm just giving my family and friends back home in America a tour of the academy, Ms. Dendra." said Lincoln. He then looks into the Rotom Phone's camera. "That's Ms. Dendra; the Battle Studies teacher here at the academy."
"She looks tough." said Ronnie Anne as she noticed the scar over Ms. Dendra's eye. Ms. Dendra grabs Lincoln's Rotom Phone and looks at the screen.
"It's nice to meet you all." said Ms. Dendra with a big grin.
"It's nice to meet you, too." said Rita.
"Like Lincoln mentioned, I teach students here Pokemon battle techniques." said Ms. Dendra. "But I also like to give them a workout now and then."
"Yeah, shouldn't be spending an entire school day just sitting in a classroom." said Lynn Jr.
"I love that attitude, young lady." said Ms. Dendra with a smile. "And speaking of workouts, have you gotten any exercise today Lincoln?"
"Well, I walked all the way to Poco Path from Mesagoza and back, and I walked around the city to show my family and friends what it's like, then I walked up that long staircase in front of the academy, and then I walked around most of the academy." said Lincoln.
"That's a good warm-up." said Ms. Dendra. "Now allow me to give you a real workout!"
"What?!" said Lincoln.
"I want you to give me ten laps around that track!" says Ms. Dendra as she points at the running track.
"But..." Lincoln started to say.
"No buts, except the one I'm gonna whip into shape!" said Ms. Dendra before taking a whistle out of her pocket and blows into it. "One two one two one two one two.." Lincoln lets out a moan before jogging in place, then onto the track with Ms. Dendra following after him. Everyone back in Royal Woods watches this all go on via Lincoln's Rotom Phone.
"That woman is literally intense." said Lori.
"She's like a grownup Lynn with black hair and a different hairstyle." said Luan. Lynn nods as she watches Ms. Dendra with admiration.
After the jogging, Ms. Dendra makes Lincoln do fifty pushups, fifty situps, and climb up and down one of the Schoolyard's climbing ladders ten times. Once that was done, Lincoln was lying on the ground, coated head-to-toe in sweat, and struggling to catch his breath. Ms. Dendra hands Lincoln a bottle of water, which he happily accepts and drinks out of until the water was all gone.
"That was invigorating; wasn't it, Lincoln?" asked Ms. Dendra. Lincoln, knowing that he'd have to do more if he didn't say yes, just nods in response. "Keep up the exercise, Lincoln." She then runs off, leaving Lincoln lying on the ground. His Rotom Phone flies over to him and his family watches him with worry.
"Are you okay, son?" asked Lynn Sr.
"I'll live." said Lincoln. "She means well, but tends to go overboard sometimes."
"She really is like Lynn." said Luan. Ten minutes later, Lincoln gets up and exits the Schoolyard. As he enters the hall, he sees Professor Sada walking around. She smiles and waves at Lincoln when she sees him.
"Hello, Lincoln." said Professor Sada.
"Hey, Professor Sada." said Lincoln with a blush.
"Professor?" replied Lisa. Lincoln points the Rotom Phone camera towards Professor Sada so everyone can see her.
"This is Professor Sada." said Lincoln as he pans the camera up and down so everyone can see what she looked like. "She's not only a graduate of Naranja Academy; she's also the leading Pokemon Researcher here in the Paldea Region."
"Who are you talking to?" asked Professor Sada.
"My family and friends back home in America." said Lincoln as he shows Professor Sada his Rotom Phone's screen so she can see them.
"It's nice to meet you all." said Professor Sada with a smile. Clyde, Zach, Liam, and Rusty gawk at her with their mouths hanging open and blushes on their faces.
"Bah...Bah...Bah." said Clyde, Zach, Liam, and Rusty in unison.
"Hoo-ee; she sure is easy on the eyes." said Liam.
"Oh, yeah." said Zach with a goofy smile on his face.
'Please be single. Please be single.' Rusty thought to himself. After that, Professor Sada continues on her way, with Lincoln pointing the camera towards her.
"I wish I was there." said Clyde.
"He speaks for all of us." said Zach as he gestures to himself, Liam, and Rusty, who all nod in agreement.
Lincoln continues walking until he reaches his dorm room. He goes in and shows everyone around. He shows them the kitchen area, the sleeping area, his desk, and finally, the bathroom.
"Whoa, Lincoln; your old room has nothing on your dorm room." said Rusty.
"Yeah; even has its own bathroom." said Zach.
"Lu..." Lana began to say before the rest of the Louds glare at her, making her stop as she realized what she was about to say. "...ve your dorm room, Lincoln."
"Yeah; I like it a lot too." said Lincoln. "Well, everyone; that ends the tour."
"Naranja Academy's amazing." said Clyde. Lincoln's stomach begins to growl.
"Well, I got to go; all that exercise Ms Dendra made me do built me up an appetite, plus I could use a shower after that, also." said Lincoln.
"It was nice talking to you, partner." said Liam.
"Keep in touch with us, man." said Rusty.
"Study hard, son." said Lynn Sr.
"And call us everyday whenever you can until..." said Rita before looking at the home arrest ankle bracelet on her ankle. Lynn Sr looks at his as well. Lincoln remembered what Clyde mentioned earlier about his parents being arrested and looks away with guilt.
"Lincoln; don't feel bad for what happened to me and your mother." said Lynn Sr.
"We brought this on ourselves." said Rita. That didn't do much to make Lincoln feel less guilty.
"Lincoln; I hope you have a great life in the Paldea Region." Clyde says with a sad smile. "Maybe I'll see you in person soon."
"Sounds great, Clyde." said Lincoln with a sad smile. "Looking forward to it. Well; bye everyone."
"Bye, Lincoln/Wincoln." everyone says in unison. Lincoln then ends the call. Clyde lowers his head in sadness; his dads notice this and look at each other. As Clyde talks to his friends, his dads start making plans.
