Clincoln McCloud Reunited
After Lincoln and Nemona had lunch, Lincoln decides to go back to the academy to relax. When he enterd the school, Ms. Dendra goes up to him and asked what he did today; then after another grueling workout to burn off the calories from his meals that day so far, he continues on towards his room. As he gets close to it, he sees that the vacant room next door had a couple staff workers coming out of it.
"Must be getting a new student." said Lincoln. He then enters his dorm room and lies down on the bed for a while. A half an hour later, he takes out his Rotom Phone and calls his family back in Royal Woods. A few seconds later, his father answers the video chat with an excited look on his face.
"Lincoln?!" Lynn Sr said with Rita and the Loud Sisters gathered behind him.
"Hi, everyone." said Lincoln with a small smile.
"Son, did you really get your father and I off with community service instead of letting us get sent to prison?" asked Rita.
"Yeah." said Lincoln.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Lynn Sr says over and over again while on his knees with his hands pressed together.
"Even though we're grateful..." Rita started to say.
"EXTREMELY GRATEFUL!" Lynn Sr says.
"Like I tried to say before your father interrupted; even though we're grateful to you for doing that; why would you do that? We didn't deserve any mercy from you after what we did." said Rita.
"I know you said not to feel bad about what happened to you, but like I said before, I had to share some of the blame for what happened, and you were all sorry for what you did; so I felt like it was the right thing to do." said Lincoln.
"You're a very mature young man to take responsibility for your part in what happened." said Rita.
"Just like me, except for the 'man' part." said Lori.
"Says someone who's always blaming her farts on her shoes." said Lynn Jr.
"It was my shoes!" said Lori before she lunges at Lynn Jr and the two start fighting.
"That's enough you two." said Rita as she pulls the two sisters apart.
"So, what else have you been up to, Lincoln?" asked Luan. Lincoln tells them about his day so far, including the Tera Raid battles; he also shows everyone his new Vivillon, much to Lola's delight.
"She's... beautiful!" said Lola.
"Totes!" said Leni.
"I liked her better when she was a Scatterbug." said Lana. Lincoln also tells him about the Pokemon he found today so far.
"I like Greavard; a ghost dog sounds like my kind of pet." said Lucy.
"Yeah, but I wouldn't recommend playing with it a lot." said Lincoln.
"Why not?" asked Lucy.
"If you hang around one, it'll slowly drain you of your life force." said Lincoln, making Lucy actually smile in response.
"Now I really want one." said Lucy, creeping her parents and siblings out.
"And you can also find stuff in these Tera Dens you can sell for a lot of money?" asked Luna.
"What kind of stuff did you find so far?" asked Lucy.
"Some berries, some stuff called Stardust, and also some pearls." replied Lincoln.
"Pearls?" asked Lola. Lincoln reaches into his backpack and pulls out a handful of pearls and shows them to his family. "GIMME!" Lola reaches towards the monitor.
"It's unbelievable that pearls could suddenly appear out of nowhere without the aid of an oyster." said Lisa.
"I know, but it's true." said Lincoln.
"At least you have a source of income for yourself aside from the scholarship." said Rita. Lincoln then notices Lola pouting a bit.
"Would you feel better if I promise to send you half the pearls I find in Tera Raid Dens, Lola?" Lincoln asked Lola, making her smile big.
"Yes!" said Lola.
"Even though she doesn't really deserve them after how she treated you during that bad luck stuff." said Lori.
"Lori; the L-Word?!" said Rita.
"You weren't any better you walking bag of farts!" said Lola.
"Self-serving, spoiled brat!" said Lori.
"Oh yeah?!" said Lola as she lunges at Lori and the two get into another fight cloud. After the two were pulled apart, they all talk for a bit longer before deciding to end the call.
"It was nice talking to you, Lincoln." said Rita.
"Well, your mother and I have to go; we got that community service today." said Lynn Sr, making Lori, Leni, Luna, and Luan shudder.
"Here's some advice for you two; don't turn your backs on those five for a second, and don't let them surround you." said Lori.
"And bring armor also." said Luna.
"And some broccoli; it wards them off like garlic does to vampires." suggested Luan.
"Don't lump in vampires with those five." said Lucy.
"I'd rather deal with a world full of vampires than the Fox Quintuplets!" said Luan. Lincoln looks with concern.
"Are they really that bad?" asked Lincoln.
"They are literally a nightmare!" said Lori.
"So, mean!" said Leni.
"Little monsters!" said Luan.
"Bad to the bone!" said Luna.
"I hope you'll be okay, Mom and Dad." said Lincoln.
"Don't worry about us, son." said Lynn Sr.
"Just keep enjoying yourself in Paldea, son." said Rita.
"Okay, Mom; love you all." said Lincoln.
"Love you, too, son." said Rita before Lincoln ends the call.
"Maybe I should've gotten them helping train police attack dogs instead." Lincoln says to himself. Lincoln's day went on as it normally did until night came; he and his Pokemon had dinner, and after Lincoln took a shower, he gets into his pajamas and goes right to bed.
At the Loud House after Lincoln went to bed, his parents were dragging themselves through their front door, all bruised and scratched up, along with wearing torn and dented protective sports equipment.
"I'm thinking I'd prefer it if we were helping train police attack dogs." said Lynn Sr as he and Rita plop down on the living room couch.
"As soon as I get more feeling back in my legs, I'll go to the kitchen and get us some ice." said Rita.
"At least we only have to do this on weekends for eight hours." said Lynn Sr.
The next morning, after Lincoln and his Pokemon had breakfast, he heads for his homeroom and sits down at his desk. Mr. Jacq then enters the classroom.
"Good morning, class." said Mr. Jacq as he walks behind his desk.
"Good morning, Mr. Jacq." the class responds.
"Before we get started, I have an announcement." said Mr. Jacq. "We have a new student joining us today."
"Really?" asked a student.
"What's he or she like?" asked another student. Mr. Jacq looks over at Lincoln with a grin on his face, making a confused look appear on Lincoln's face.
"Our new student is someone that Lincoln there already knows." said Mr. Jacq, surprising Lincoln. Mr. Jacq turned towards the classroom door. "You can come in now." The door opens and someone Lincoln does know enters the room: Clyde McBride.
"Clyde?!" says Lincoln.
"Lincoln, buddy!" said Clyde as he and Lincoln run up to each other and hug.
"What are you doing here?" asked Lincoln with a big smile on his face.
"My dads knew how much I missed you, so they got me enrolled here." said Clyde.
"This...is...AWESOME!" said Lincoln.
"Perhaps you could introduce the class to your friend, Lincoln." said Mr. Jacq. Lincoln then goes on to introduce Clyde to everyone. "Clyde, would you like the seat next to Lincoln?"
"Yes, sir!" said Clyde.
"And could you help Clyde get caught up when you have the time to, Lincoln?" asked Mr. Jacq.
"You bet, Mr. Jacq." said Lincoln. After Lincoln and Clyde sat down, with looks of joy on their faces, they started their lessons for the day.
