The next day on a country road, a bus was pulling away from a bus stop; standing near it was Lincoln, Clyde, two other students, and Ms. Briar.
"We're finally here!" cheered Lincoln. He and Clyde looked around the area; it had a small plain and high cliffs.
"Man, my butt is killing me after hours of sitting; on the plane and on the bus." said another student.
"Well, you all survived the long trip; and we didn't lose anyone" said Ms. Briar in an amused tone. She motioned around the area. "Welcome to the land of Kitakami." Everyone begins looking around.
"This place looks amazing." said Clyde.
"This is the stage for all the new experiences and learning opportunities you'll have out in nature." said Ms. Briar. "This is my first time here too; the rice fields here really are dazzling." She then points towards a town. "Up ahead is Mossui Town, the base of operations for the duration of our trip." Another student suddenly puts his hands against his stomach.
"Ms. Briar; I don't feel well." said the student.
"Uh-oh; all that travelling must have given you motion sickness." said Ms. Briar with concern in her voice. "Why don't we pause here for a moment and take in the sights of the fields?" She turned towards Lincoln. "Lincoln, why don't you and Clyde go to the community center in Mossui Town and let the caretaker know we're here? It would be great if you two explain that one of our students is feeling unwell."
"Sure. Ms. Briar." replied Lincoln.
"We'd be glad to." said Clyde.
"I knew I'd be able to count on you two." said Ms. Briar. "Feel free to take in the sights if you wish on the way, as well as catch some Pokemon."
"Thanks, Ms. Briar." said Lincoln. Ms. Briar helped the student sit on a bench while Lincoln and Clyde began walking, looking around.
"Man, I can't wait to see what Pokemon are here." said Lincoln. As they look around, they see several red dragonfly-like Pokemon flying around.
"What are those?" asked Clyde. He takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Yanma, the Clear Wing Pokemon. As Yanma surveys its territory, it periodically stops to hover in place by flapping its wings at high speeds." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"Man, this is going to be awesome!" said Lincoln. Remembering something, he takes out his Rotom Phone.
"What are you up to, Lincoln?" asked Clyde.
"I'm calling Iono; I promised to send her footage of the Kitakami Region while I'm here." said Lincoln.
"Oh, yeah." replied Clyde. Lincoln begins dialing Iono's number; seconds later, Iono answered.
"'Ello, ello, hola." said Iono.
"Ciao, and bonjour." replied Lincoln.
"Linky! How are you doing?" asked Iono.
"Great, Iono; I'm here in the Kitakami Region." said Lincoln. He holds out his Rotom Phone to show Iono the area.
"Wow! This place looks so peaceful!" said Iono. Clyde then stands next to Lincoln, getting Iono's attention. "So, who's that boy next to you, Linky?"
"This is my best friend, Clyde McBride." said Lincoln.
"Nice to meet you, Iono; I was at your gym battle with my buddy here." said Clyde, motioning to Lincoln.
"Nice to meet you too, Clyde." said Iono. She turned towards a camera that was in the room she was in. "Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready? Caught in my Electroweb, your eyes are mine! Whosawhatsit? It's me, Iono! Hello, hola, bonjour; and now, it's time for... The Iono Zone! Right now, Linky and his friend, Clyde McBride, have arrived in the Kitakami Region." She then showed the footage Lincoln was sending her. "What Pokemon will my cutie and his friend find in this region?" Lincoln suddenly sees a green, spiderlike Pokemon nearby.
"Hey, there's one!" said Lincoln, holding his Rotom Phone towards the Pokemon for Iono to see.
"What Pokemon is that?" asked Iono. Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Spinarak, the String Spit Pokemon. Even while there are prey ensnared in its nest of spun thread, Spinarak will wait motionlessly until darkness falls." said Clyde's Rotom Phone. Lincoln lets his Rotom Phone hover while he walks in front of Spinarak while pulling out a pokeball.
"Looks like my Linky is planning on capturing that Spinarak!" said Iono.
"You got that right; Charcadet, go!" said Lincoln, throwing Charcadet's pokeball and releasing him.
"I remember Charcadet from our gym battle back here in Levincia!" said Iono.
"Okay, Charcadet, use Flame Charge!" said Lincoln. Charcadet becomes surrounded by fire and he charges at Spinarak, ramming it, and dealing super effective damage to it, knocking it to the ground. Lincoln takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Spinarak, hitting it and sucking it in; it moved around a few times before it clicks, indicating a successful capture. "Yes! Spinarak is mine!"
"And my Linky has successfully captured his first Pokemon in the Kitakami Region! He's just as amazing a trainer as he is cute." said Iono, making Lincoln blush. Spinarak's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone.
"Okay, this says Lincoln's Spinarak is a boy, he knows Poison Sting, String Shot, Absorb, and Infestation; he has the Swarm ability which powers up his bug type moves when his stamina's low." said Clyde. He suddenly hears rustling coming from tall grass nearby; he looks to see a yellow caterpillar-like Pokemon with a leafy hood behind its head, crawling out of the grass. "Hey, another Pokemon." He points his Rotom Phone at the Pokemon.
"Sewaddle, the Sewing Pokemon. Sewaddle chews on leaves to make its clothing. It's trying to mimic the leafy garment Leavanny first dressed it in." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"You want this one, Clyde?" asked Lincoln.
"Sure, buddy." replied Clyde. He pulls out a pokeball. "Go, Litleo!" He throws Litleo's pokeball and releases him. "Litleo, use Ember!" Litleo releases embers from his mouth and they hit Sewaddle, dealing massive damage to it and knocking it to the ground. Clyde takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Sewaddle and it hits it, sucking it in; after it moves around a few times, it clicks. "Yes! I caught Sewaddle!" Sewaddle's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Lincon runs to Clyde, and they high five each other.
"Yeah! Go, Clincoln McCloud!" Lincoln and Clyde cheered in unison.
"Clincoln McCloud?" asked Iono.
"It's our little team name." replied Lincoln as he and Clyde each put an arm over the other's shoulder.
"That's nice." said Iono. "Maybe me and Linky's pair name can be Ionocoln?" Lincoln smiles and blushes while looking away. Clyde then looks up his Sewaddle's information on his Rotom Phone.
"Okay; my Sewaddle's a boy, which made my Litleo's Ember more powerful thanks to his Rivalry ability, he knows Tackle, String Shot, and Bug Bite; and like Lincoln's Spinarak, my Sewaddle also has the Swarm ability."
"Great job, Clyde." said Lincoln. "Well, we got to get to Mossui Town to take care of some business."
"Business?" asked Iono.
"Yeah; we're going to the community center in Mossui Town to inform the caretaker there of our class' arrival." said Lincoln. "Also, we have a classmate who's not feeling well."
"Wow, that's really sweet of you to be concerned for one of your classmates, Linky." said Iono. Lincoln returns Charcadet to his pokeball while Clyde does the same for Litleo and continues travelling towards Mossui Town. As he does, he sees a fly-like Pokemon with a white and pale-yellow body flying towards them. "What's that cutie?"
"Me or the Pokemon?" asked Lincoln.
"The Pokemon, silly; even though you're way cuter!" said Iono. Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone and points it at the Pokemon.
"Cutiefly, the Bee Fly Pokemon. When it senses the auras of people or Pokémon who are having fun, it will draw close and give them a painful poke with its long proboscis." said Clyde's Rotom Phone.
"That Pokemon may be cute, but it has nothing on Linky." said Iono, making Lincoln blush. Cutiefly flies closer to him and Clyde.
"Well, we are having fun here." said Lincoln. He pulls out a pokeball. "Better capture it before it pokes us; Lycanroc, go!" He throws Lycanroc and releases him. "Okay, Lycanroc, use Accelerock!" Lycanroc becomes surrounded by a white aura and he charges at Cutiefly, ramming it, and dealing super effective damage to it. Lincoln pulls out an empty pokeball and throws it at Cutiefly, hitting it, and sucking it in; after it wiggled around a few times, it clicks.
"You got it, buddy!" said Clyde.
"Yes! Cutiefly is mine!" said Lincoln. Cutiefly's pokeball vanishes and is transported to storage. Clyde looks up Cutiefly's information on his Rotom Phone.
"Okay, this says Cutiefly's a girl, she knows Absorb, Fairy Wind, and Stun Spore; she has the Honey Gather ability which gives her a chance of finding honey after each battle." said Clyde.
"I'm going to send Cutiefly to my sister, Lola." said Lincoln.
"That is so nice of you, Linky." said Iono.
"Thanks, Iono." said Lincoln.
"Are you going to send your family any more Pokemon from the Kitakami Region?" asked Iono.
"Probably not Spinarak; my dad and my older sister, Leni are terrified of spiders." said Lincoln. "Well, me and Clyde better get headed to Mossui Town; great talking to you, Iono."
"Same to you, Linky; it was nice seeing you." replied Iono. She gives an air kiss to Lincoln, making him blush. After they ended their call, Lincoln called his family's number; seconds later, Lynn Sr answers.
"Hello, son." said Lynn Sr.
"Hi, Dad." replied Lincoln.
"Are you in Kitakami yet?" asked Rita.
"Yeah." replied Lincoln. He uses his Rotom Phone to show his family the area he's in.
"Well, that place looks very nice." said Rita.
"It literally does." said Lori.
"Did you catch any Pokemon there, brother?" asked Lisa.
"You bet; I'm going to send one of them over for Lola." said Lincoln.
"Is it a cute one?" asked Lola.
"Yeah; she's called a Cutiefly." replied Lincoln.
"Ooh, I like the sound of that." said Lola. She runs up to Lisa's room where the Pokemon Transport System is; seconds later, Cutiefly's pokeball appears on the system. The rest of the Louds were in the living room chatting with Lincoln when they hear Lola squeal in excitement out loud; seconds later, Lola runs to the phone while carrying Cutiefly. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"You're welcome." replied Lincoln.
"O-M-Gosh, she's totes adorbs." said Leni.
"And I was just working on a livestream video with Iono." said Lincoln as he looks away with a blush, making his sisters squeal with delight.
"What other Pokemon did you catch in Kitakami, son?" asked Lynn Sr.
"Yeah, I caught a Spinarak, but he's like a big spider, and I know how you and Leni feel about spiders." said Lincoln. Lynn Sr and Leni shiver in response. "Don't worry, I won't send him to you."
"Oh, good." replied Lynn Sr, putting a hand over his chest.
"Did Clyde catch any Pokemon?" asked Luan.
"Yeah, I caught a Sewaddle; it's like a big caterpillar." said Clyde.
"Ooh, can you send it over here?" asked Lana before licking her lips and rubbing her hands together.
"I...think I'll keep it in storage for safe keeping." said Clyde.
"Aw, man." said Lana as she stomps the floor.
"And besides, Lana; like I told you before; bug Pokemon aren't like regular Pokemon back in America." said Lincoln. "They can fight back, so if you tried to eat Sewaddle, he'll make you wish you didn't."
"Oh yeah." said Lana.
"Well, everyone; me and Clyde have to get to Mossui Town; we have to tell the caretaker of the community center about our arrival." said Lincoln.
"Okay, son; have a fun time in the Kitakami Region." said Lynn Sr.
"And send me more cute Pokemon." said Lola who was cuddling her Cutiefly.
"And send me some ghost ones too." said Lucy from behind Lola, startling her and Cutiefly. Lincoln soons ends the call. Clyde takes out his Rotom Phone and calls his dads, a few seconds later, they both answer.
"Clyde, sweetie; how are you?" asked Howard McBride.
"I'm doing great, Dads." said Clyde.
"Are you in that Kitakami place yet?" asked Harold McBride.
"Sure am, Dad." said Clyde. "We just arrived this morning."
"What's it like there?" asked Howard McBride. Clyde holds his Rotom Phone out and shows his dads the area they were in right now.
"That place look very peaceful." said Harold McBride.
"And those rice fields look so delightful." said Howard McBride. Clyde then went on to tell them about all the Pokemon that he and Lincoln caught so far.
"Right now, we're heading to Mossui Town to let someone know about a sick classmate of ours." said Clyde.
"Well, don't let us keep you from doing so." said Harold McBride.
"And makes sure you stay safe, and you and Lincoln watch each other's backs." said Howard McBride.
"We will, Dads." said Clyde. He then says goodbye and ends the call.
"Let's get going, Clyde." said Lincoln. "We don't want to keep the caretaker waiting."
"Lead the way, buddy." said Clyde. The boys continued walking up the road on their way to Mossui Town. What else waits for them as their adventure in the Kitakami Region continues.
Back at the Loud house, Luan was lying on her bed, writing jokes in a notebook. She grabs a bottle of soda from her nightstand without looking at it and drinks from it before putting it back. As she reads through her notebook, Impidimp sneaks to the nightstand and swaps Luan's bottle of soda with a bottle that had a label that with the image of a fiery jalapeno pepper on it before sneaking away without Luan noticing. Luan reaches for the bottle and drinks from it; seconds later, she spits the contents from the bottle and begins screaming while her tongue was glowing orange; she then looks at the bottle she was holding.
"HOT SAUCE?!" yelled Luan. "WATER! I NEED WATER!" Impidimp runs to her with a glass of water in his hand and holds it out to her; Luan grabs it and drinks it all down; she begins breathing rapidly. "Thanks, Impidimp." She sees Impidimp looking at her with a mischievous grin. "What?" Impidimp motions Luan to follow him; she does so and Impidimp leads Luan into the bathroom; he walks to the toilet and points into it, then at the cup that Luan was holding; it didn't take long for her to put two and two together.
"I DRANK TOILET WATER?!" yelled Luan before she began spitting.
"So? I do it lots of times." said Lana from her and Lola's room.
"You're disgusting!" said Lola.
"I need something to drink!" yelled Luan. Impidimp holds out a bottle to Luan; she quickly grabs it and drinks out of it. She suddenly screams with fire coming out of her mouth; she looks at the bottle to see it was the hot sauce again.
"MORE HOT SAUCE!" exclaimed Luan. "I NEED WATER, AND NOT FROM THE TOILET!" Impidimp runs out of the room, then returns with a seltzer bottle and sprays Luan in the face with it; Luan soon was standing with her head completely soaked. "I need to dry off." She walks to the towel rack and grabs a towel; unbeknownst to her, a rope was tied to the towel, the other end of the rope went up that went through a pulley that was on the ceiling; the other end of the rope was tied to a pail; when Luan pulls the towel off the rack, she pulls the rope which tips the pail, making baked beans that were inside it fall onto her, much to her disgust. "Dang it, Impidimp, you've BEAN very bad; ha ha ha, get it? But seriously, DARN YOU, LINCOLN!"
