Welcome back to Elemental Crisis Book III. Last time, Martian Manhunter, Lena Luthor, and Flash made their way through LuthorCorp's R&D department and discovered what Element has made it's home there. And the third Element we have to deal with in National City is the Element of Electricity. But just as they got through the charged field it was producing, with help from Flash, Malefic J'onnz showed up, making some cryptic remarks about not wanting to have to face J'onn again, indicating his trying to help him in his own world lead to this moment. But, we're not going to get an answer as to what that means yet, because there's one more team to cover, tracking the Element of Earth. So, how're they doing? Read on to discover...

(Our scene picks up at CatCo Worldwide Media, where Spyro, Supergirl, Toyman, and Sentinel are ascending a staircase, still seeking the Element of Earth that's somewhere in the building.)

Sentinel: We're nearing the top floor of the building, that thing's got to be close.

Spyro: Honestly, I'm surprised it's this far up. Being the Element of Earth and all.

Supergirl: Thinking about it, that does seem kind of weird.

Toyman: Yeah, wouldn't it be underground or something?

Supergirl: Definitely something to ponder later, we should really get back on track.

(At this point, Spyro shuts his eyes and concentrates on the building as a whole, with Toyman just plain confused as to what's going on)

Toyman: Uh... Spyro? What are you doing?

Spyro: Trying to connect to the lost Element. Should be able to tell us if we're close or not.

(And after a few moments of this, Spyro opens his eyes and looks at a nearby door)

Supergirl: Got a lock?

Spyro: Right through that door.

(Wasting no time, Supergirl opens the door into one of the office areas of CatCo, and right in the center of the room is a sphere of green energy encased in what looks like rocks. The Element of Earth)

Sentinel: Score one for the good guys.

Toyman: Looks like we beat Malefor's forces here.

Myriad: I wouldn't be too sure about that.

(Having not heard Myriad's voice before now, Toyman looks immediately at Sentinel)

Sentinel: (Seeing Toyman is looking at her) That wasn't me!

Myriad: In a way, it was.

(And with that, Myriad steps out of the shadows, revealing her face, which as we know, matches Sentinel's perfectly)

Sentinel: What the...

Toyman: Holy doppelgangers.

Myriad: (Noticing Sentinel is confused) Your sister is correct. We are versions of each other, Alex Danvers. But we are far from the same.

Sentinel: I think on that last part, we're both agreed. There's not a world in the multiverse where I'd turn on Kara.

Myriad: You didn't. You fought to save her. But in the end, Myriad won. Just as it should have here. A reality I intend to make true, with Lord Malefor's aid. All I need is this Element. So if you would, get out of my way and maybe you'll be spared.

Toyman: Yeah, not going to happen.

Sentinel: We already lost too much to Myriad the first time, like hell I'm letting you start that again.

Myriad: This is honestly funny. You think you have a choice.

(With that, Myriad prepares to fight her opponents off and claim the Element of Earth)

Spyro: We can't let her get that Element.

Supergirl: She won't. I can assure you of that.

(And with that, the quartet prepares for battle. Toyman draws his father's classic razor blade yoyo, Sentinel activates the Hand of the Soldier and uses it to form an energy gauntlet, Spyro flares his wings and rears up on his hind legs, and Supergirl starts floating above the ground, eyes glowing with heat vision ready to be used while Myriad just enters a fighting stance, as our tale ends for today)

And that looks like a good spot to wrap up for now. We've got three battles set up, and next time, we finish them off. I'm telling you this in advance, we've got a three way battle chapter upcoming next time. Three Elements on the line, three Dark Knights to face off against, and... well, I'm not going to spoil much more here. Got to leave something for next time. But based on what the past two Books of this story have shown, it should be kind of obvious what's coming next. But let's hope to see you there anyways! Same time... same channel!
