A/N: Hey guys, sorry for the delay! Work has been busy and having a family is quite hard to get my writing done in a timely matter. I am going to be revising the chapters as I write and up load. Like I stated before, I am using this story to get better at writng. There is some stuff I will address from some reviews I seen.

General Dax only could look on in stupor as one of his most prized weapons was just hit with a devastating magic attack. This blond brat was becoming very problematic. He always known that Ionian's with magic; was very dangerous. Turning his head, he looked to see that his opponent was equally as shocked.

'Her guard is down, if I can just get one clean hit...' He thought as he took the opportunity to try and strike her down. Irelia's blade's seemingly acted on their own and protected her from his downward slash. Grunting in annoyance he was now face to face with furious blue eyes.

"I am not as stupid as you think to let my guard down so easily." She growled. Did he really think she was that ignorant? Maybe a few years ago when the war started, sure. She took a brief glance back again to see that brute had indeed flown back quite a distance from Naruto.

Naruto let out a calming breath to catch his bearings after watching the monster man get flung away. Leveling a worryign gaze down to Seira, he saw her face was covered with blood. He could see that she was trembling and ahd a ragged breath.

He knelt down to her level and could hear Oze barely gasping for air. The wound he received was most definitely fatal. Naruto closed his eyes as the brief memory of when Neji saved him replayed in his head. 'This is just like that time before.'

*cough* "N-Na-Naru-" Oze tried to call out, but Naruto instead grabbed Oze's free hand. Oze eyes softened as he looked at the sobbing young girl above him. He then looked towards Naruto and gave him a weak smile.

"H-hey man… I'm-… just leave it to me." Naruto stuttered out, not really knowing how to talk to his fallen friend. He bit his bottom lip to make sure the tears weren't going to come out. One thing for sure, he most definitely didn't sign up to start losing friends right away in this new world.

"N-naruto…T-that big monster is s-standing once again…" Seira spoke up, grabbing his attention. He wanted to say more, but seeing a pleading but serious look from the girl shut him up. Nodding towards her in acknowledgement, he let go of Oze's hand and stood up. The giant humanoid growled as it charged towards them. Narrowing his eyes, Naruto suddenly sprouted two more arms out his back as he prepped another rasengan. However he raised his arms and it started to grow. A screeching sound started to pitch through the air as four windmill-like blades looking like a fuma shuriken started to form around the sphere.

"SAGE ART: RASENSHURIKEN!"

"...and stay down this time!" He shouted while throwing it towards his charging foe. The brute put his arms up this time thinking he would just run through it. However what it did not expect was that the attack hit harder than the last one. Once again it was sent flying back, but this time it was carried high into the air and the sound started to go away before a loud explosion went off. Capturing it in a massive dome of wind. A shockwave went over the entire settlement. They was a agonizing cry that came from the brute before everything went silent. Once the dust settled, all that was left was a very large crater. The Noxian monster was vaporized and there wasn't a trace of it existence left. There was a rallying war cry that came from the Resistance shortly after.

Dax started to worry as he saw the morale of his men vanish seemingly with that brute. Was he this stupid to believe they had the power to beat the Ionians? His thoughts were interrupted as Irelia nearly traveled in a blink of an eye, and was sending all her blades at him.

Bringing his sword up to block, she instead used her speed to trip him and her blades started to slash him all over. He winced in pain as he felt himself get up. Irelia kept her momentum going as she willed her blades in a large arc, intending to cut him in half.

"Now die!" She screamed as she went for the killing blow. When her blades were about to penetrate Dax again, a dark force of magic blew her away. She landed roughly on the ground and was a bit dazed.

'What was that?!' Irelia thought as she slowly tried to stand up. A sudden kick to the abdomen made her cry out in pain. Looking up, she saw Dax standing right over her menacingly. Dax knelt down and grabbed a fist full of her black hair and lifted her to his eye level.

"Such a shame, you were so sure of your victory too." Dax taunted in a deep voice. Irelia nearly shivered from how bloodthirsty his voice sounded now. He decided to let the power in the cursed sword consume him. The pain was excruciating, but this was his final trump card to try and save his army.

Irelia tried to will her blades up, but they weren't moving. It felt as if her spiritual connection to her blades were cut off. She resorted to trying to land a low blow, only for her knee to come in contact with the large sword Dax held. The man smiled darkly as his once brown eyes turned completely black. He had black like veins sprouting over his skin and dark purple translucent wings appeared behind his back.

He let go of her hair to only quickly grab her by the throat. Using his momentum he swung Irelia down hard into the ground again, knocking the wind out of her in the process. He started to squeeze his grip around her throat. Irelia's eyes widened in fear as she started trying to fight the man off. 'It's like he has an iron grip! Where did this sudden strength come from?' she thought.

"Such a shame that your windpipe will be crushed before your troops will know.'' Dax said darkly. He teether were now fanged and his face had a sisnter smile. Irelia eyes were now showing fear to him and his smile grew even wider. "To think Swain and all the others before me were bested by a pathetic welp like you, shows how weak and vulnerable our army has become!"

Irelia felt her grip loosening as she was fighting to stay conscious. She felt confident going against him at first and he didn't seem very strong. However, this new power was something much more. It's as if he is being possessed by a demonic being or something.

She looked around to see that her people were still carrying the momentum of victory against the Noxians. Akali's ninjas arrived and were cleaning up the enemy as if they were nothing. She felt herself blacking out and her body was starting to go numb to where it was hard to fight back anymore.

Dax seemingly was enjoying that she was at his mercy. This was when he decided it was time to drop the power of the cursed being that was sealed into the blade. He dropped her and she immediately started gasping for air furiously. "You will be rewarded later with all the other's blood." He said to no one in particular. Dax licked his lips as he hungrily looked over Irelia's body. He promised himself this before, and he was sure was going to fulfill his desire.

"Finally-..."

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" came the furious voice of Naruto as he kicked Dax hard in the jaw, sending him flying away. Naruto instantly turned and knelt down by Irelia.

"I'm sorry I'm late. When I felt that power, I responded as fast as I could. I should've backed you up from the beginning." Naruto said to her. Irelia waved him off as she finally felt her breathing was steady.

H-hey *cough* It's ok. I a-am grateful, but there is no time to talk about this." Irelia responded. Naruto nodded as he stood back up. When he felt that explosive evil presence come from where Irelia was; he had to steamroll his way through all the troops that separated them.

Dax had stood back up, glaring at the newcomer. 'Fuck! I should've killed the girl instead of playing around with her.' he thought. His arrogance might have just cost him a bit, but he wasn't worried. With the trapped demon in his sword, he should be able to fight the troublesome blond.

'Naruto that sword is more of the problem than the actual wielder. There is something powerful sealed within that weapon.' Kurama stated.

'Do you think it's possibly a demon in there, sort of similar to Samehada?' The blond asked. That was the only demon sword he could think of that had a will of his own.

'Sort of, but I believe it's much more than that. We need to separate the two most definitely.' Naruto narrowed his eyes as Dax started to laugh.

"I have never seen a warrior with the kind of power you possess. As long as I have been on this battlefield, I never once faced an Ionian that wielded this much power!"

"Yeah? Well, sometimes we are met with new challenges everyday." Naruto responded back. Dax rolled his eyes at that and scoffed.

"You are way too young to be telling me that, boy." Dax grabbed the cursed sword and let its power start to run through his veins. "I was dumb to let the Blade Dancer survive before you arrived, but this time I will have both your heads."

Naruto formed the ram sign and summoned a few clones as he got ready to charge his new opponent. One clone turned around and picked Irelia up, much to her surprise.

"W-what are-?" "You need to be near Seira to get healed. I will take it from here." The clone spoke as he dashed off towards his target.

"I can still fight!" Irelia protested. She would be damned if she was going to sit back and let him do this by himself. She already lost Oze, she didn't need to lose him either.

The clone stopped abruptly and gave her a look of sadness. "We lost Oze because I was not watching everyone the first time. I am not going to lose you either." He said. Irelia eyes locked on with his and they held each other with a determined stare. When she noticed that he wasn't going to falter, she sighed. This was a road she was not trying to go down.

"Just please be careful…" she whispered just loud enough for him to hear. The clone smiled brightly at her and was about to start to continue his walk. However Irelia swiftly elbowed the clone in the throat and he dispersed; dropping her. With her landing on her feet, she ran back towards Naruto and Dax.

Naruto's eyes widened when he felt Irelia's presence was upon him again. He was going to argue with her, but Irelia's glare shut him up real quick.

"Don't you EVER do that AGAIN!" She growled at Naruto. Her blades were once again behind her, and Naruto nodded while letting out a nervous chuckle. 'Well now I know she can be scary too...' He thought. He heard laughing coming from Dax which immediately grabbed both their attention.

"Cut him some slack, he was trying to be the prince to save his princess." Dax laughed. Irelia scoffed at his ridiculous statement.

"That's not even remotely the cas-" Naruto was going to retort, but Dax cut him off. "You never try to take a warrior from battle. Someone of her caliber; her pride would be destroyed. She's not a maiden you try to save as a charming prince. This is a hardened warrior that only knows war."

"Are you done? Talking is not going to get us anywhere." Irelia coldly said.

"I agree, your little resistance has caused enough damage and ruined my entire operation. I am going to have all of your heads and bathe in your blood!" Dax exclaimed.

Irelia got herself in an attack stance with her blades as she sized Dax up. She knew that he was now much stronger in this demon-like form and had the physical strength over her. However, having Naruto here should help her out.

"We need to get that sword away from him at all costs. If we can do that, I am sure we can end this. " Naruto said.

"I think that is where the source of his power is coming from." Irelia responded. Irelia had the edge on Dax in fighting, however that sword gave him a massive power up that she was not expecting. He could easily overpower her, but with Naruto fighting with her, she should have a better shot at ending him.

Dax, tired of waiting, decided to make the first move. He swung his blade at the two and sent a dark slash at them. One of Naruto's clones jumped in front of the attack and was instantly cut in half. The slash forced the two of them to dodge and flew off into the distance towards the mountain.

'Man he's sending out large slashes with that sword?' Naruto sweatdropped as he looked at Dax. This needed to end now. He vanished in a yellow flicker and was above Dax with a Rasengan forming.

Irelia was right behind as well and sent her blades in an arc to decapitate him. Dax grinned as he formed a magical barrier around him and deflected both attacks.

"NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!" Dax shouted out as he thrusted his sword up towards Naruto intending to impale him. Naruto sprouted two arms from behind and caught the blade. Dax's eyes widened when Naruto flipped over him and tried to forcefully grab it out of his hands.

When Naruto landed he felt the intense magic pouring off the sword. It tried to immediately force its will upon him. 'Man this thing is monstrous!' Naruto's eyes widened when he felt something else trying to reach into his subconscious.

He opened his eyes to see he was face to face with a large humanoid creature in his normal sewer area. The creature was at least at least 10 feet tall, maybe even taller. He had horns on his head and eyes glowing red as the sharingan. The sword that Dax was using, was now in his hands. The being glared down at Naruto, but was mildy surprised when Naruto glared back.

"You have quite the will brat. For you to standing off with me in your mindscape shows that you are more qualified than most. Why don't you join me, and we can rule this planet?" The being asked.

"Not interested, who the hell are you anyway? How did you get in here?!" Naruto shouted at the being.

"Where is my manners? Listen well boy, my name is Traax, The Soul Collector. I am part of the mighty species of Darkin!" Traax announced.

"That's cool and all, but that still doesn't explain how you got in my subconscious." Naruto said. It was freaking him out because the last person that got inside was Sasuke that one time. He made sure to never let that happen again.

"Boy, are you questioning my power? This is child play for a being as myself." Traax simply responded. He was going to continue further until two large red slitted eyes opened.

"You should get lost Darkin. You are in the wrong den, and you are in danger." came a deep voice. Traax felt a overwhelming amount of killing intent coming from the darkness that was behind the blond boy. Soon enough the darkness lifted and there was a giant orange nine tailed fox glaring at him. This creature was easily ten times his size. Traax was slightly intimidated by the fact there is a creature of this caliber inside the boy.

"Who might you be? I am not aware of a fox demon in this world." Trax stated. Though the fox may be intimidating, he would not stand down.

"Don't worry about who I am, you are in my territory and need to leave. I don't take kindly to strangers." the fox growled.

Traax only scoffed at the threat and turned his attention back to Naruto. "Boy you are something special to be housing something like this. I am sure I can offer you more than this little fox."

"Only thing I want is you gone!" Naruto stated simply as he crossed his arms. Truth be told, he was still freaked out that this Darkin got into his subconscious easily. Kurama growled from behind him and was getting ready to pounce. Traax was about to raise his sword, before he felt himself weakened. His eyes widened when he realized what happened. His connection was disturbed from Dax.

As Naruto and Dax were seemingly in a struggle of willpower. Irelia took that moment to rush Dax again and jumped above them. She brought her blades down in a sweep and chopped Dax arms off clean. Blood splattered everywhere as the possessed form of his instantly went away.

Naruto fell back with the sword, still holding onto the blade. Realizing what happened he dropped the sword and Traax vanished from his mindscape just as fast.

Kurama grunted in annoyance and laid down again. 'Don't bring any more unwanted guests here brat.'

'Like I knew he would just show up here!' Naruto retorted back. He knew there were more important things at hand, and focused on the now kneeling Dax who was screaming in agonizing pain.

Irelia stood in front of him as she had her blades ready to strike him down. Naruto saw the look in her eyes and saw they were glazed over. They weren't the sparkling blue ones he's only known so far. He grabbed her arm and she instantly turned her glare to him.

"What do you think you are doing? Are you going to stop me from killing him?" she asked through clenched teeth. Naruto gave her a sad smile and he shook his head.

"I will never do that, but the look you had in your eyes is scaring me." the blond responded. Irellia eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What look was he talking about? Was she supposed to have some type of pity while killing a Noxian?

"This man single handedly is like the rest. Only here to conquer and destroy us. You seen what he is capable of and he is part of the reason why Oze is down. YOU told me you are a ninja, I am sure you understand this." Irelia stated.

Naruto sighed as knew this would be an uphill battle. He was trained from a young age to kill without emotion. Maybe it was just his own convictions, but Dax has been defeated. Their entire army has been defeated. He lost his arms, he was at her mercy.

Irelia rolled her eyes at seeing she wasn't going to get anywhere with Naruto in this conversation. There was a more important task at hand. She turned herself back to Dax and was about to sweep her hand so her blades could strike him down, but the downed General laughed.

"Hehe, you think I am the only one who will be defeated here Blade Dancer?!" Dax stated as his eyes went black again. Her eyes widened in panic, she thought his connection was severed.

"Traxx is a Soul Darkin, I gave my soul to draw upon his power anytime. You will be joining me in the eternity of hell with this!" He shouted as the blade that was by Naruto, lifted off the ground and shot forward intent on implaing Irelia and Dax.

Naruto being the fastest of the group reacted by jumping in front of the blade. Taking the impalement and using an extended Kurama arm to push Irelia out of the way. He was then impaled with Dax as well. Dax's eyes widened when he saw Naruto cough up some blood, and drop out of his cloaked mode. Dax smiled manically at what just played out.

"Prince Charming for the save again~ HAHAHAHAHA!" Dax laughed as he then looked towards Irelia, who was just standing back up from being knocked over.

'NO NO NO NO NO!' Irelia thought as her eyes started to water. Why was she so weak? To let this keep happening? First Oze, and now Naruto. She could feel her knees starting to get weak and she slipd down onto the ground 'O-ma I failed again.'

"Boy, that was quite the shocker. With this, your fate is sealed and we will become one in eternity with Traax!" Dax laughed maniacally. Seeing the blade dancer break, is just as satisfying as killing her. "Remember this Irelia. For his death is also in your hands too!"

"Man you talk too damn much." came the voice of another Naruto. Next to him was Akali as well. They seemed to have minor bruises on them, but seemed to be perfectly unharmed.

"B-bu, but h-how?!" Dax panicked as he looked at Naruto. He looked back to see the blonde he was sure was impaled with him disappeared in a poof of smoke.

Naruto ignored that and instead went over to Irelia and offered her an outstretched hand. She shakingly took it and stood up. "Was that not the real you this whole time?" She asked just to make sure her eyes weren't deceiving her. She could have sworn that was the real Naruto the entire time.

"I was going to bring you back up earlier, but after I took down that brute I was afraid to leave Seira by herself with Oze. I ended up summoning clones to guard her, but Akali needed help dispatching some of the officers." Naruto said.

Irelia looked to Akali who simply nodded. They all looked to Dax who was breathing raggedly. A growing pool of blood was around him as he looked on in anger. To think he was outsmarted by that blond brat was downright embarrassing.

'What a disappointment you were. I was so excited to take that kid with me. Your soul will be nourishment until I get a new host.' Trrax said, coming across Dax's mind. Dax clenched his teeth at his stupidity and felt his heart starting to fail.

Irelia walked up to the downed general with her blades behind her. "Go on, finish me off Blade Dancer." Dax said tauntingly.

Irelia wanted to lash out at him and strike him down like so many before him, but Naruto's words earlier from his clone about the look in her eyes worried her. She never had someone point that out to her before and now she was confused. Knowing that this would be a talk she would want to have with him later, she turned her back to Dax.

"This is goodbye General Dax, may you actually be a more understanding and peaceful person in your next life." She said as she walked back to Naruto and Akali. Dax, not being able to hold on anymore; fell over. The sword glowing bright red as it collected his soul. Next thing they knew the sword itself engulfed itself in flames and vanished.

Naruto took note of that sword and so called darkin. He had a feeling he would be seeing him again.

'Next time I am going to show him who's the alpha.' Kurama pitched in.

Irelia felt her strength leaving her as her legs wobbled. Before she could collapse, Naruto caught her and wrapped her arm around his neck. He also wrapped his arm around her waist and supported her.

"I got you." He smiled brightly at her. Irelia felt her cheeks get warm and smiled back at him. She relaxed knowing that the battle was over; they succeeded.

They made their way back over to the main part of the settlement and rallied with everyone. Seira who was now much better than before actually came to support Naruto in sitting Irelia. Oze was one of the few casualties they suffered. Akali lost about a third of her ninja from that rogue assassin. Having Naruto's clones really helped keep the casualities down. What clones were left stood guard of the perimeter. He summoned more to start making a mass grave for the fallen Noxian troops.

There was a team dispatched to look for anything that may be of Ionian importance. Knowing that this place has been under Noxian rule for who knows how long, probably meant that there weren't any possible survivors. The intent was just to completely burn down the entire settlement.

Irelia looked over to see the nearby fallen corpse of Oze. His body was covered, but it seems he at least died with a smile on his normally grumpy face.

'To think that I won't be seeing you anymore aches my heart. You were like a big brother that I needed to help guide me. Even when we had days that we would just bicker, I knew it was because you cared for me.' Irelia thought sadly. She quickly brushed the sad feelings away when Akali came next to her.

"Hey." Akali started.

"Hey"

Akali sat there in silence looking at the destroyed battleground. She released a sigh as she then looked down to Irelia. "I know this probably isn't the time, but I know for sure one guy got away." She said grimly.

Irelia's eyes narrowed at that and she focused her attention on Akali. "What do you mean?" She asked.

"There was an assassin among these Noxian ranks and he wiped a third of my forces out on the officer side. He even was able to sneak up on me. Before I could engage him, he was gone. I hurriedly tried to search all over for him, and to no avail I couldn't. I found a bit of my shinobi with their throats slit." She responded.

Irelia took a bit to take in her words. Could it be the thing that Naruto mentioned the night before about someone here to take care of her? That could be a cause for concern later if he is not found.

"Did he at least leave some type of trail that we may be able to track?" Irelia asked with a bit of hope. Akali shook her and Irelia sighed in frustration. So much for that.

"It's ok, I sent a few teams to scout in possible directions he might have gone. You will receive a report if he is found."

"Thanks Akali." Irelia smiled as she stood up. She went over to regroup with Naruto and Seira who were having what seemed like a light hearted conversation. She assumed Naruto was doing what he could to cheer up Seira and distract her from the pain that she was feeling.

"Oh Irelia how are you feeling now?" Naruto asked with a friendly smile.

"I am feeling much better, thanks to Seira's healing. How are you two holding up?" She asked.

"Much better now than what I was. Don't get me wrong, what happened to Oze is still replaying in my head. Naruto here has been trying to help lift my mood." She said with a sad smile.

Irelia nodded knowing what she meant. That was a gruesome way to see him go out like that, but she knew he didn't die in Vain. He was protecting what was important to him.

"He may have been harsh, but he stayed true to what he was until the very end. A protector."

Naruto felt he could've done more to ensure he didn't die. He saw when the brute showed up and could've instantly engaged it. He felt like he played a role in not helping Oze out.

'You know you can't save everyone, kid. Sometimes there is a reason why things happen.' Kurama said, grabbing his attention.

'True, but I felt like maybe I could've done so much more though Kurama!'

'You saved the girl did you not? You said it yourself earlier, you lost Oze and made sure you weren't going to lose her. I think you should look at the positive outcome that played out.'

'I guess you're right…'

Naruto's thoughts were interrupted when Seira was waving her hand in front of his face. "Are you ok there? You look like you are having something bugging your mind." Seira said.

Irelia was looking as well and she assumed he was talking with his spirit friend. She wondered what he was like.

Naruto scratched the back of his head and gave a foxy grin. "Just was having a talk with Kurama."

"I see, well I want to rally everyone so we debrief and celebrate." Irelia said, and with that the three started to walk off to rally everyone.

Thanks for reading! As for power scaling Naruto is at peak shinobi war power, but without the Six Paths's power he was given by Hagoromo. Against an average mage or warrior, he is obviously going to steam roll them. Traax, is a OC Darkin that I created into the lore. As I stated there will be some characters based off lore in League who is miles ahead of Naruto. Also he is still only seventeen so obviously he will take some time to grow up and mature his skills and power. Over one hundred favs and follows means a lot! Thank you guys so much.
