A/N: Hey guys, back with another chapter. Guess what though? It's two instead of one this week!

The next day, The Resistance had mobilized. They were all in high spirits after the battle at Nafori. The previous night, Irelia and Seira told Naruto funny stories about Oze when he was a old grouch. It was a way of coping for them, so they would not stress out about his death.

Irelia shared a bit more about her family and the promising career she had before the war. She told him what it was like having four brothers. However, what Naruto noticed the most was Irelia's O-Ma. She had absolutely adored that woman. He spoke about his relationship with Jiraiya and his days with the old pervert.

Seira on the other hand, had come from a orphanage and found that she had an aptitude for healing magic. She learned it from the Nanny that use to take care of them. She wanted to follow in her footsteps by being the next resident healer of the village. When the invasion happened, she was able to escape because of said mother figure. She sacrificed herself so Seira and the younger children could escape.

Naruto gave her a hug to show support when she started to cry. However, she took that a a chance to tease him and said he should only be hugging Irelia, otherwise she would get jealous. This had gotten mixed reactions and the two of them basically blushed in anger.

He said her and Kurama was relentless on this teasing. Speaking of which, he actually let them meet Kurama last night and it went better than he thought.

Flashback

"I want you two to hold my hands while we sit in this circle. Close your eyes and focus on my presence. You will feel yourself being pulled into my mindscape. A quick warning though… he's a bit of a jerk at first, but he will warm up to you." Naruto said, taking ahold of the girls hands.

Seira giggled at that before she closed her eyes. "I'm sure it's not to-..." she abruptly paused, noticing that she was now in a sewer type area with Naruto and Irelia.

Looking around at her surroundings, Irelia took in the face that it was kind of gloomy in here. "Wow I am a bit worried for you Naruto. Is this what your mind is like? I was expecting all sunshine." She joked.

Naruto rolled his eyes and Seira chuckled. " I'm working on that ok? I never thought to change it in here." He replied.

"I'd rather it stay like this, I already got to deal with his rather obnoxious personality. I don't need a giant ball of happy light in here as well." A deep voice growled that made both the girls flinched.

Turning to the direction it came from, two giant red slitted eyes opened. Before they new it, Kurama was laying in front of them in all his glory.

Irelia mouth dropped at the sheer size he was. Naruto had something this big inside of him?! Seira on the other hand squealed as she ran towards the fox.

Before Naruto could stop her, she was hugging him and laughing. "He's so big and fluffy!"

"FLUFFY?! Why did you bring them in here Naruto?! I already have to deal with you, but now a brat that's worse than you!" He complained.

"Hey that's not nice mister fox! And my name is Seira, not brat!" She said poking him in the nose. Naruto sweat dropped in nervousness. He's never seen someone talk to Kurama like that.

The fox huffed and Seira was blown away from him. "Well you loud mouth wench, don't touch my nose!" He growled. Seira glared as well and crossed her arms across her chest. The nerve of this disrespectful fox!

Irelia laughed at that, grabbing all of their attention. "Kurama was your name? Nice to meet you, and thank you for lending Naruto a hand. It really helped us." She said bowing.

Kurama eyed her for a bit before he smirked. " I like this one, she shows respect unlike a couple of fools." Naruto and Seira looked like they wanted to pounce on the Bijuu. Kurama ignored the two that was glaring at him and kept looking at Irelia.

"Is there something wrong?" she asked. With him staring at her like that, he was most definitely the most intimidating being she's ever stepped in front of.

"Merely just observing you, I must say you are definitely a interesting one." Kurama said.

"Really?" Naruto asked. This was something he didn't think he would hear from his partner. It made him feel great that Kurama was accepting them pretty easily.

Kurama decided to get himself comfortable again before he spoke. " I approve of this one for you brat. Now if you don't mind, it's time for a nap." Using one of his tails, he sent a wave of water at them that sent them out of Naruto's mind.

"I swear I am going to kick his ass, sorry about that." Naruto said as he focused on the two girls in front of him. They both regained their focus of their surroundings and smiled.

"I like him, I can tell he's a big softie under all that toughness he exerts." Seira stated. Irelia nodded in agreement and Naruto just laughed.

Flashback end

It's been a little over a week since he's arrived, and he's practically become great friends with Irelia and Seira. Whoever knew that war would bring people closer so quickly. He was brought out of his musings when Seira said something that caught his attention.

"So when are you planning to head out to the Placidum? That's a good two week travel if I remember correctly." Seira said

"More than likely tomorrow after we get a nights of rest. The brotherhood is now my priority, and we need to get on the same page before we try to take back the Capital." Irelia said.

"What if it doesn't work out…? You know, if they don't want to talk it out."

"I'm not sure, but hopefully it's only going to be a diplomatic talk. Are you going to accompany me?" Irelia asked.

Seira gave a sad smile and shook her head. "Not this time, I think I am going to settle down here for a while in the village. Especially after losing Oze, I want to keep our home we had here safe."

Irelia nodded in understanding before looking towards Naruto. "Did you have any plans on what you want to do? I know you don't know much of Ionia, but I would hate to keep you from exploring our lands."

Naruto eyed her beforeputting his hands behind his head. "I am going to come with you obviously. I don't need to be out exploring lands I don't know. Plus I don't want to be alone."

Seira had hearts in her eyes as she clasped her hands together. "You two are too much! Im so jealous Relia." She teased.

"We're not doing this Seira." Irelia huffed out as she turned away. Hiding a bit of a blush that tinted her cheeks. Naruto scratched his head in confusion and looked back at other warriors that were following. Some were glaring at him in envy. Now he really was confused.

'What's with them?'

'Boy when are you going to stop being so naive? You would think that old pervert would have taught you better.' Kurama said.

'You're not helping either you damn fox.' Naruto retorted.

A few hours past and the resistance was greeted by the villagers with joy. They started a big celebration and threw a feast for all.

Naruto was in heaven because there was a stand that was doing all you can eat ramen! Now they weren't Ichiraku, but they were pretty damn close.

He went with a few of the guys that invited him and he caught them off guard with how much ramen he was putting down.

"Man where does it all go? It's not like you're big or anything." One man said.

"Tev, you got remember he's a young, he burns through it quick." Another one said. Tev chuckled as he took a sip of his alcohol.

"Wish I was that young again to do that. Say are you sticking around here Naruto?" The man asked.

Naruto slurped up some more noodles before he answered, " No I am going with Irelia to the Placidium, said she has some business to take care of there."

"Hmm interesting; well that's too bad! I was thinking it would be great to have a youngster like you around here to help out." The man who's name was Tarsyan said.

"I will be back for sure, especially because this ramen place exist!" Naruto said with a smile.

The ramen cook smiled as he placed another bowl in front of Naruto.

Irelia and Seira was currently sitting with the village elder and some of his council. She had given him a debrief of the outcome of the battle and what her next plan was.

"We will sure miss having you around Irelia. It has been great having you here with us, but I understand there must be things done. I sure do hope that everything will come peacefully." The older man said.

"I can only hope as well, but I do want to thank you for giving me the help to take back Nafori. I am forever in your debt." She said before he bowed.

The older man waved her bowing off. " The hero of our lands shouldn't be bowing to me, I'm just a old man." He chuckled.

Irelia gave a small smile, but nodded. "I am sure Naruto and I will be back here eventually. Hopefully it will be more of a reunion to relax and not to mobilize onto another battlefield."

The elder man raised a curious brow at the mention of the blond newcomer. He heard from one of his grandsons that the boy was very powerful on the battlefield and was like a Golden guardian angel.

"Welll I'm sure you know, we will want to see you and young Naruto off." He said.

"Of course, we will be at the town center at dusk before we leave Elder Masa. Now if you would excuse us, we have some other errands to tend to before our departure.

Masa nodded with a small smile and both Irelia and Seira left. Once they left the home, they were outside and seen that the sun was at around the peak of noon.

"What did you want to do for today? I'm sure we can go get some sweets, I been craving some crepes." Irelia said.

"Oh that sounds amazing actually! I could go for some dango sticks. Oh don't let me forget, I have to pick up Naruto's new jacket. It's going to look great on him!" Seira stated with glee.

"I'm curious as to what you got him. What's wrong with what he wears now?" Irelia asked.

"Well he wanted to wear that tore up jacket he came in, but I told him he wasn't allowed. He kept pleading after I forced him to change his outfit, I kind of promised him I would get him a new one that is better. So stop asking and you will get to see it later~" she playfully said as she dragged her friend to a sweets stand.

Later on that evening, after having his fill of ramen and enjoying the time with some of the guys, Naruto arrived back to Irelia's and Seira's house. Opening the door to let himself in, he was greeted by a smiling Seira.

"Welcome back! I hope you had a good time." She beamed.

Naruto gave her a big grin. " That ramen stand was amazing! Also Tev and Tarsyn are great, even though they complain about not being young anymore. Rilo is a bit of a alcoholic though. He was just drinking down sake like it was nothing. He ended up passing out by the end of it." He said laughing.

Seira joined in on his laugh before she remembered something. "Oh yeah I got that one thing for you. Hold on!" She said as she ran towards her room. Moments later she was back, shoving something into his arms.

He blinked in confusion before he unfolded it. His eyes widened when it was revealed to be a shortsleeved orange coat with what looked like to be black flames on the bottom. On each sleeve and the back was a black Uzumaki swirl." He smirked as it reminded him of his red and black sage coat.

"What brought up the idea of fire at the bottom?" He asked her. It was kind of Ironic she basically made his Sage coat for him without knowing.

Seira blushed a bit as she twiddled with her fingers. " You remind me of a sun that is rising. That's why I went with the orange even though I told you no orange. The fire represents how powerful you are. It's kind of cheesy I know!" She said embarrassed.

Naruto chuckled as he put the coat on. At that moment, Irelia had decided to come in from outside as well. Seira perked up and smiled to her other friend.

"Hey what do you think Irelia? Don't you think I'm pretty good at dress up?" She asked.

"It looks nice, it stills doesn't mean you couldn't have told me what it looked like earlier." Irelia replied.

"Then it wouldn't have been any fun. How I know you wouldn't have told him?"

"…"

"…"

Irelia sighed as she shook her head. She placed a box on the table and this made both naruto and Seira raise their eyebrows.

"Well did you two want to play a game? I know this is our last night together with Seira so I went and got us a game."

"Oh what did you get?"

She opened the box to show it was a strategy game. It had plently of strange pieces that Naruto has never seen before.

"What is this?"

"This is a game they call chest, it's a strategy game that's objective is take the other persons king."

"We played this alot with Oze, but I was never good at it. Him and Irelia always went back and fourth with jt. Irelia is really good it, maybe that's why she's our leader." Seira pitched in. She had a feeling how this was going to go, poor Naruto.

Irelia rolled her eyes as she started setting up the game. Once they were set up, she sat down on the side of the black pieces.

"Did you want to play naruto?" She asked with a big of mischief in her voice. Naruto eyed her for a bit in suspicion before he sat down as well. Seira pulled out the other seat and was seated between the two.

"Sure why not." He soon cracked his knuckles and grinned. " Don't get upset if I somehow get you with beginners luck!"

Irelia quirked an eyebrow at that and sighed. Poor fool didn't know what he was getting himself into. She did a quick explanation at the rules and let him go first.

Naruto moved one pawn forward a space and she in turned moved another one. He decided to be a bit more bold and moved another up two spaces. She moved her queen in a diagonal row and was one space from his pawn.

"Checkmate." She said coolly. Naruto eyes widened when he seen that she indeed had his king in checkmate after two moves. Seira laughed as he banged his head on the table.

Kurama added salt to the wound as he teased him on being bested so quickly. Irelia had a smug grin that lit something in Naruto.

"Let's go again!"

Naruto yawned as he sat on the fountain, taking in the nice morning breeze. If it was left up to him he would still be sleep, but having someone like Irelia barging in ended that hope for him.

He didn't have much to pack, but he did buy a small scroll and wrote a storage seal on it. He stored all his stuff in it, and Irelia really liked the convience of it and threw her stuff in it as well.

He was mildly surprised to see she didn't have as much as he expected her to have. Considering she was a very pretty woman, he thought she would have a bunch of girly things. He found out that she only took the minimum stuff she needed.

There was a crowd of people starting to gather at the fountain. He was surprised that so many people wanted to see them off.

'I don't think I could ever get use to this.' He thought to himself.

'That's surprising considering this is something you always wanted. You should start appreciating it.' Kurama said.

'I guess your right.' he replied. He looked up to see that Irelia was walking up with Seira as well. Her hair looked really beautiful. He shook his head of the thought and smiled when they approached him.

"Hopefully I didn't keep you waiting too long, Seira had to make sure we take care of girl things before we departed." Irelia said with a bit of annoyance.

Seira huffed and swatted Irelia's arm. "Don't be like that Relia, you enjoyed it!"

"Are you ready to go?" Irelia asked the blond, when he nodded she smiled.

"Let's get to it! I'm excited to see what the next adventure is going to be like." He enthusiastically said while pumping his fist in the air. Seira pulled him in for a hug which he happily returned.

"It sucks that you are leaving after I just met you a little over a week ago. You better take care of Relia for me, and when y'all get back I better see results." She said with a smirk.

"Results of what?" Naruto asked, but Seira laughed and moved over to hug Irelia. He was so cutely naive that she could never get over it.

Tev, Rilo and Tarsyn each came up and gave him a handshake. "Good luck to you lad, may the spirits keep you safe. I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield again as comrades." Tev said.

Naruto nodded at that and smiled. In turn all the villagers that was present gave their prayers and thanks to Naruto and Irelia. Last was Elder Masa and he gave a handshake to them both. There was a loud cheer as the two walked out the gates as they embarked on their journey to the Placidum of Navori.

The hours flew by after their departure. Naruto was too busy enjoying all the beautiful wildlife and scenery that was the country side. Everything was just so colorful and magical. It all felt so peaceful and it sadden him to think there is some places that aren't as pretty anymore.

Their trip wasn't completely quiet though. Irelia had asked if he had any stories that could help pass time. She had become very intrigued by his home world. The onyx haired girl was currently laughing at his expense about how his first kiss was robbed because of getting knocked into Sasuke.

'You should tell her that you did it two more times as well.' Kurama said. Naruto chose to ignore that as Irelia was cackling up a storm, much to his embarrassment.

"Hehe…t-that is pretty unfortunate. Better be glad Seira wasn't here, or she wouldn't let you live it down." She said wiping a tear from her eye.

Naruto snorted, but smiled shortly after. He really enjoyed watching her smile, she was very beautiful when she smiled like that. "So I never asked you, but would you mind telling me more about the Navori Brotherhood?"

That instantly killed the cheerful mood and Irelia frowned. She sighed as she decided to look forward.

"They were once a band of fighters that was part of the Resistance to fight off Noxus. They still want to protect our lands, but they don't believe in the same ideology of us as a democracy. They instead want Ionia under one rule. They approached me a few months ago about being the ruler for Ionia. They said since I was young, I can reign for a long time and when I have children, I can start a dynasty of rulers. However I'm not the type that wants that type of power, so now they think I am weak willed and want to kill me."

"Which is why they were after you that day I met you? Is this the first time they have tried to attack you?" Naruto asked.

Irelia noticed his tone seemed a bit forced, like he was angry. "Yeah it was the first time they attacked me. We previously only bickered about our ideologies, but the day you met me was the first day they got physical with me. It was nearly almost successful too…" she answered. She shuttered at the idea that she would have been dead had Naruto not arrived when he did.

"What a bunch of scumbags, that really that pisses me off! How could they turn on one of their own dammit?!" Naruto shouted in anger. Irelia silently observed as he ranted. She's learned that he can be very passionate when expressing his emotions.

"Naruto…" Irelia softly said to grab his attention. He calmed down a bit when he seen her worried expression.

"Yeah?"

"It's nothing to get worked up about. It's frustrating trust me, but it's not totally lost you know? I believe we can come to agreement that would benefit Ionia as a whole." Irelia stated.

Naruto looked at her for a bit and seen that her eyes had a bit of determination in them. She was pleading for him to trust her on it. He huffed as he put his arms behind his head.

"Well they better get their crap together. I won't hold anything back if they try to hurt you again. Those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum. That was something I was taught when I first became a Genin." He said.

Irelia gave him another one of those warm smiles, and this one actually made him blush a bit. He decided to change the subject to get back on topic.

"What do you plan on doing at the Placidium?"

"So there is a man that is one of the speakers for of the Brotherhood, I wanted to speak with him so we can try to work out something. There is a leader, but I honestly don't know who he is."

"What if he doesn't want to talk and instead tries to fight you?"

Irelia was taken aback by his question. What would she do if he didn't have any words and would rather duel her? "I'm… not sure honestly. I guess we have this journey to figure it out before we get there."

"Hmmmm didn't think you were the type not to have a plan." Naruto said nonchalantly. He felt a shiver go down his spine when felt the air around him get cooler.

Irelia narrowed her eyes at him " What are you trying to say?"

"Smooth kid, good luck." Kurama taunted with a smirk. It's been awhile since he watched his host dig himself into a hole.

Trying to think quickly Naruto nervously laughed. "I didn't mean anything bad by that." He could've sworn that he seen her blades materialise. When they did, he raised his hands in defense.

"I'm serious, nothing bad I swear!" He quickly said. Irelia clicked her teeth and sighed in annoyance. Her blades vanished as quickly as they came.

"Anyway, if I remember correctly we should be arriving in a village in the next couple hours." Irelia said changing the subject. Naruto sighed in relief as Irelia stopped glaring at him.

'Man she can be scary.' He thought. Kurama only laughed at his misfortune. "So what's so special about this Placidium of Navori? Tev seemed surprised I was going with you there."

"It's one of our most sacred places, this is also where our council is at, since Ionia City is still occupied in the sothern region of Navori. We were able to fight them back from there years ago and in turn we used it as our new capital until we can rid of the invaders."

"So this war has been going on for a couple years now huh?"

Irelia frowned, but nodded. Naruto thought the 4th great shinobi war was bad but it was only two days really. They been at battle for years now.

"You know with how beautiful the scenery is here, you wouldn't think that there is a battle going on here. Everything feels so peaceful, especially when I was in sage mode. There is so much natural energy here and it's calming.

"That may have been the spirits talking to you that you may have felt. Our land has some of the most powerful spirits that help connects with the inhabitants."

As they kept walking, they seen another village that was larger than what Olma was. Naruto noticed that it didn't seem to be as guarded as Olma was. He remembered when Oze said lands further on the eastern side are mostly untouched by the invasion.

"This is going to be our first stop for a bit, I think you will like it here. They have a popular rame-…" she didn't even get to finish her words as Naruto took off. She shook her head in amusement as she followed him.
