A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for a rather slow update, works been busy. This chapter isn't as long, but next chapter will be. It's the beginning of the Placidium of Navori Arc.

"Owwww!"

"Your posture was sloppy again. You must be accurate when drawing and even faster when attacking; again!." Yasuo firmly said.

Naruto grumbled as he resheathed his blade. It's been a little over a week since Yasuo had accepted him as his apprentice. Irelia at first wasn't wanting to because of time, but he practically begged her to let them stay for awhile. She agreed to a few days, but that obviously didn't happen.

Over their stay, Naruto and Irelia all had become quite acquaited, and Naruto enjoyed the company that was Yasuo and Ahri. The two bickered like an old couple, and it was rather amusing.

Naruto has had to use a bamboo stick since starting his training. He wanted to use his clones to help, but Yasuo had forbade it. His reasoning, Naruto's ability to become to learn it the proper way. The blond complained about how he can learn it faster, but Yasuo stood firm.

Until Naruto could properly fight Yasuo with a blade, he wasn't allowed to. Yasuo did get a surprise when he seen how fast Naruto learned. He was good at soaking up information.

Irelia on the other hand, had come to find the vastaya, Ahri, quite interesting. The girl was a bit annoying sometimes, but she did appreciate the company she gave.

She was currently with the woman at a nearby hot spring deep into the woods. Ahri said she had found this sacred place when she was huntin once and has came ever since. Irelia had undressed herself and slowly sank herself into the water. She gave a contented sigh as she relaxed herself into bliss.

She thought back to all the events that has happened so far. She came from her home in Navori to Olma to help with a planned battle to take back Nafori. There she was given the opportunity to lead a band of resistance fighters to take back that occupied territory, but the day before their departure, she was met with betrayal by the Navori Brotherhood. Zel, Mar, and Kar are top ranking memebers of the said group At first they had offered her the rule of Ionia as the monarch. When she declined, they became hostile and decided to attack her. They would have succeeded had she not met Naruto.

Irelia blushed a bit as the blond came to her mind. There was no doubt she felt something for him, she had come to realize that more as each day passed. At first she thought of him as a friend, even with Seira teasing them. However, the more she was around him, the more she couldn't deny it. His personality, his almost exotic look, his smile… it was all just great. When she felt lost about killing her own bretheren back in Estriva, he supported her and brought her mind out of that depression.

"Thinking of little Naruto again?~" a playful voice said. Irelia sighed as she opened her eyes to see Ahri had finally joined her in the spring. The short time she had gotten to know the fox, she learned that she was just as playful as Seira, if not worse. She was great at conversation though, and was very wise surprisingly.

"I will take that as a yes, since your blushing. When are you going to tell him?" Ahri asked, smiling.

"I'm not sure." Irelia said. She didn't have Seira to talk about her growing feelings, but Ahri had been nice enough to talk with her about it. Irelia had learned about her lover and her life before she accidentally took his life essence. Ahri said she was very broken for years, but had actually came to forgive herself when she met Yasuo awhile ago. The Ronin helped her get over her grief, by showing her how to honor his memory.

"Well you better get on it before some other woman come claims him." The vastaya said while smirking.

Irelia just rolled her eyes at her. "I don't think I have to worry about that for awhile, it's not like Naruto knows a ton of women."

Ahri smile only grew as her eyes glinted with mischief. "That's what you think. I mean we both have fox like features, and I haven't mated with no one since my lover so…" Ahri replied trailing off. Irelia narrowed her eyes at the hint and Ahri laughed.

"I'm kidding! Anyway, I did want to talk with you."

"About?"

"What you asked me yesterday. I gave it some thought, and I would be interested in helping out." Ahri stated.

Irelia eyes widened before a big smiled adorned her face. "That's great! This means so much and I thank you. What about Yasuo?"

"He kind of brushed me off when I asked. Im not sure if he is willing to with his reputation and all."

"I thought he was cleared of it?" Irelia asked arching a eyebrow.

"That's what he told me, but because of the war, not everyone knows the truth yet." Ahri sadly said.

Irelia hummed as she took in her words. She couldn't answer for herself because before she was told, she had never heard of Yasuo. When he told them of his past and how he was on the run, she had become skeptical of him. Naruto on the other hand, understood and said Yasuo didn't seem like the type. He was even willing to vouch for him and play like he knew Yasuo from a long time ago.

Yasuo was actually moved by that and opened up a bit more to Naruto. The blond seemed to have a way with people and bring out even the most closed off of folks. Focusing back on Ahri, Irleia spoke up. "We are going to have to get on the move again. Staying here for as long as we have, has put us a bit behind schedule. We should've been almost to the Placidium by now."

Ahri ears twitched at that and tilted her head curiously. "Is this where we will ge fighting?"

Irelias shook her head. "No not at all, we are going to try and negotiate with some people that are after me. Also there is suppose to be a rendezvous with some other warriors so a plan can be made about the Noxian forces in the south."

"Oh I see. It's honestly so sad to see humans in such a disgusting conflict. To also hear that the people of this land are against each other is even more heartbreaking." Ahri said, frowning.

Irelia eyed the girl before she looked up to the sky. 'I wish it didn't have to be this way.'

Somewhere inside the Immortal Bastion

"So General Dax was killed and the Darkin sword vanished?" A man said while looking out a window overlooking the city.

"That is correct sir. Talon said the Bladedancer had a mage that magic changed the entire battle, and decimated our forces. He could multiple himself and throw wind type attacks that vaporized one of the Beserker prototypes." A lieutenant said shakingly. He hated he got stuck in this position, because the people in front of him was the most powerful in Noxus and being in the room with the three would make anyone nervous.

"What a troublesome newcomer I must say." A pale skinned woman with dark hair said. She smirked as she looked across to the large muscular man that was enjoying some peanuts.

"Darius, Dax was suppose to be one of your strongest, yet he was defeated rather pathetically." The woman taunted.

Darius narrowed his eyes at the woman, clenching his fist in annoyance. "I am aware of his failure, he was simply weak and was killed by a strong foe."

"We also lost a great power. Might I remind you that one of the ancient god warriors has escaped? Do you realize it took me quite a bit to get that for you.?" She asked coldly. Darius could only stare at the women with contempt before he looked towards the man that had his back to them.

"What's the next action you suppose should take place Grand General? Should I mobilize a seiging battalion? I am positive we can retkae that lost ground and even take some."

Swain stayed silent for a bit as he kept looking out the window. He turned around and looked dead into the eyes of the lieutenant. Said person tensed under his cold stare. "You're dismissed lieutenant." He said. The man quickly saluted and took his leave as fast as he could.

"Leblanc would it be too much to hunt down that darkin again?" He asked.

She eyed the Grand General for a while, before she smirked. "Who knows? The Darkin are a bit of a nuisance when it comes to searching for them."

Stain hummed at her response before he looked to Darius. "I think we need to probably move our plans a bit more earlier old friend. That blade witch seems to still be a thorn in my side after all these years."

Darius let out a hearty chuckle before his face gained a dark smile. "Well to ensure she learns her place, let's capture her and bring her back to the Fleshing Arena." Swain nodded as he looked back towards the city again.

Leblanc stared at the two men silently. 'I need to figure out how Dax was defeated with a darkin on his side. This Ionian that stopped him must be a very powerful adversary.' After alll her years of existence, that didn't just happen.

Back in the forest

Irelia had finished her bath with Ahri and the two had made it back to the hut. They were actually surprised to see that everything in the area was cleaned up. Naruto and Yasuo was sitting across each other talking.

Naruto noticed to two girls and smiled widely at them. "About time! Yasabro was getting all moody again."

"Yasabro? I told you to call me Master kid!" Yasuo growled, slamming a fist onto Naruto's head.

"You're too young to be my Master! Plus I already had a master! You can either be called my Sensei or you can let me continue to call you Yasabro!"

Yasuo sighed in annoyance as he looked towards Irelia. " I made my decision."

When he noticed he had her full attention, he continued. "Since I took on this brat as my apprentice, I will travel with you. His training is going to take some months. Despite being on the run, I still love Ionia dearly and I will help defend it long as I draw breath. However, I will not be getting into any affairs of what you got going on with them Brotherhood guys."

"But Yasuo~" Ahri started to beg, but he glared at her; shutting her up quickly.

"If they get in my way, I won't hesitate to cut them down. As of now though, I have no reasons to fight them." He said firmly.

"I can respect that, this means a lot and I thank you." Irelia replied, smiling at him. Yasuo smirked back before he stood up.

"This hut has been my home for almost a year. It's a bit sad that I got to let her go. Hopefully nature will take care of it."

"It was such a great little place! However, it's great to finally go see more of the country. I want to visit Whe'le one day, I heard it is so magical."

"That it is, but for now let's focus on getting out of here. Naruto before we leave I need to give you something." Yasuo said grabbing the blond's attention. He grabbed a red cloth and handed it to Naruto.

Naruto took it and unraveled it. His eyes widened at it, before he looked towards Yasuo; confusion on his face. "I thought you didn't want no me to touch this blade?"

"I really didn't, but you are going to need a FINE sword if I am to train you. This was my Master's, who trained me in the Wind Technique. This means a lot to me and I am entrusting it to you Naruto." Yasuo said.

Naruto gave a small smile and nodded towards Yasuo. "I promise to not let you down… Yas- I mean Master." Naruto grumbled out. Obviously not wanting to call him that. Yasuo smirked at that, the kid was starting to learn respect.

"So when do we leave?" Ahri asked interrupting.

"If we leave now, we can make it out the forest by nightfall. The placidum is at most a day or two journey now." Irelia said.

Naruto continued to eye the blade that was given to him. It was most definitely a beauty. The crimson sheath reminded him of his mothers hair. The hilt was wrapped in a black silk with with specks of gold in it. He unsheathed the blade and noticed that the blade was made out of what looked to be a high quality steel. It almost looked black. His question was answered when Yasuo spoke up.

"Master Souma's sword is made of some of the highest quality of carbon steel in Ionia. The blade can nearly cut through anything. It's even a better sword than mine and my brothers. The name of the sword is YoruKaze meaning Nightwind. "

"Nightwind huh? That's a pretty cool name!" Naruto said with excitement.

"Pretty lame to me." Kurama pitched in. Naruto ignored the Fox and instead resheated the sword. Yasuo tossed Naruto a cloth so he could strap it to his waist.

Naruto got an idea and placed it in the same position Sasuke use to do. For some reason it felt right, and it made him smile; thinking of his late best friend.

Irelia took that time to gather all of their attention. "I think it's time we head out. I want to thank you two for lending your hand in helping us in the war. It means a lot.".

"Yeah yeah, don't need to hear the whole noble thanks thing. Let's get going." Yasuo said waving her off.

"On second thought I only thank Ahri now." Irelia replied with a huff. Ahri and Naruto chuckled at that. As they started to head off, Ahri looked back and gave a small smile at the place she called home for the last few months. 'It really was a great time here. I hope this place doesn't get lost in time.'

Zel clenched his fist in anger as he looked at the bloodied and destroyed safehouse that was for the Brotherhood. After a couple days of travel, Mar, Kar and himself' also a few other members in his crew decided to travel to Estriva to meet upp with Kino.

When they arrived, the villagers seemed to have it out for them. After a bit of calming them down, he learned of the attack on Irelia. Being a witty individual, he was able to lie and get them to understand it was a misunderstanding. He mentioned that he didn't know there was traitors in the Brotherhood.

'I did not think Irelia would stoop to slaughtering her own to send a message. She doesn't seem like the type.' He thought as he clicked his tongue.

Kar walked up to Zel and had what seemed like a piece of paper in his hand. Zel noticed he had a look of annoyance on his scruffy face.

"Well I doubt it was Irelia that got rid of Kino and them. Take a look at this note…"

Zel looked at the note as Kar held it up to his eye level. The words caused him to tremble in anger.

Consider this a warning. Anymore Brotherhood members that come after Irelia will be dealing with me. -Naruto Uzumaki

"It's that damn blond bastard again." Kar said as he pulled out a cigarette. He held one out for Zel who happily took and lit it. Taking a puff, Zel took a second to gather his thoughts. 'I need to figure out how to catch them. That damn kid needs to be dealt with first, before we can get her.'

Both men turned when they heard footsteps enter their old safehouse. The man looked at the two and smirked.

"Looks like they are headed to the Placidium. I heard from some locals that she is going there to work out any rifts with our people."

Zel and Kar looked at each other before they laughed. The man that entered as well joined in too.

"Mar, that's the laugh I needed today. Seems like your jokes haven't dulled." Kar said taking another puff of his cigarette. When Mar face turned serious his eyes widened.

"Oh you're fucking serious?"

"She really thinks she is going to work out peace negotiations with us." Zel said as he leaned against a wall.

"What a stupid girl. However, that may work in our favor. Let's use the bitch we kidnapped at the Placidum. Irelia wouldn't dare let the girl die, they are like best friends. Also with this distraction, it should give us enough time to get one of the marksmen to pick off the blond brat. He's strong ,but he probably won't be able to react to a high velotixity bolt to the skull."

Zel hummed at that before he smirked. "I like the way you think Kar."

Thanks for reading!
