Since the characters of The Faculty draw parallels with the cast of The Breakfast Club (with the exception of Marybeth) I figured why not make this?

I will be basing this on the plot of The Faculty…but I'll be throwing in a plot twist. I don't want to copy and paste the plot of this movie.

I would like to see a sequel to The Faculty personally. But seeing as the aliens have been killed off I'm not sure if there's a way to continue from there.

Though if they do make a sequel I would like to know how the aliens came to Earth. My guess is they have an alien spacecraft of some kind.

But wouldn't people notice that? It was a plot point that instead of making a dramatic entrance the aliens wanted to stay hidden.

Maybe they have a portal. I dunno..

Chapter 1: What's For Breakfast?

At Herrington High, the students were at the auditorium.

The principal had an important announcement to make.

"We would like to welcome our new transfer students to Herrington High!" exclaimed Principal Drake.

It seemed she was a very welcoming person.

The six new students waved to the others. And yes, they were on the stand.

The audience clapped and cheered. Thankfully, they were accepting.

One could only hope that they didn't get hazed. That could potentially happen to new students. Perhaps some students were territorial.

After all, the football team competed with students from other schools. Coach Willis did not encourage them to play nice with each other.

Marybeth decided to introduce herself to her fellow new students.

"It's nice to know I won't be at this school alone." noted Marybeth. She hoped that she didn't get bullied because she was different from everyone else.

"I'm somewhat of a loner myself." said Addison. Or at the very least, she used to be. She could think her friends from the change in personality.

"What about us?" asked Bender…who was not a robot. This wasn't a Futurama fanfic. Though the Faculty was a sci-fi movie.

The sign outside said "Please Welcome Our New Students!"

At lunch Marybeth decided to blend in with the Breakfast Club.

"So, how are you all adjusting to your new school?" asked Marybeth.

"We're doing OK." answered Claire.

"Good! My name is Marybeth Louise Hutchinson." greeted the blonde.

"Do you always say your full name when greeting someone?" questioned the redhead.

"I do, actually." answered Marybeth.

"So where are you from?" asked Brian.

"I'm from Atlanta." explained Marybeth.

"Reminds me of Atlantis." noted Andrew. Wasn't there a Disney movie about it? He might want to check it out sometime.

"I know." nodded the blonde. Why did they choose that name specifically?

It didn't take long for them to realize that their gym teacher was a jerk in gym class.

None of the football team seemed to really like him.

"Why is my football team full of wusses?" asked Coach Willis. It was as if he were a gym teacher for preschoolers. He was at a high school, for Pete's sake.

"Who put him in charge?" questioned Brian.

"I've asked the same thing regarding Dick Vernon." noted Claire. She had read a story about a school principal that defenestrated children. Was that the kind of teacher the faculty thought the students wanted?

"I noticed that he looks like the Terminator." spoke Andy.

"T-800?" asked Addison. She had seen the first movie. She didn't know that robots wore sunglasses.

"I mean T-1000." explained Andrew. The one that was made of liquid metal. And the one that had disguised itself as a police officer to make finding John Connor easier.

"Oh, that Terminator. Yeah. I wonder if he'll run a sword for us if we make him mad." noted the former loner. It wouldn't surprise him too much. Should they come with the science teacher if they wanted to live?

As cool as robots were, it was a scary thought regarding a robot hunting you down. One that would never give up until it succeeded it in its task. The only way to stop it was to destroy it.

"I hope not." answered Claire.

On the other hand, the science teacher was a nice guy. Though he did admit he wouldn't mind if the principal was paying him a bit more. She can't spend all the money on the football team.

Brian got the feeling he wouldn't mind being in his class. So maybe having to spend time with Coach Willis wouldn't be so bad with Mr. Furlong around.

The next day, they discovered a familiar face that they weren't happy to see.

It turned out there was another important announcement.

And yes, it was unusual that they were going to the auditorium for two days in a row. Not that the auditorium was an unpleasant place to be. It was actually kind of exciting.

"Please welcome our new vice principal!" exclaimed Principal Drake.

The Breakfast Club groaned. They immediately recognized who their new vice principal was.

It was Richard Vernon.

It seemed not even moving to another school would allow them to escape him.

They could only wonder what Drake was thinking.

Surely anybody would be a better vice principal than him.

One could only hope that Drake didn't retire soon.

Otherwise, Vernon would be the one calling the shots.

That would not be fun for anyone. Especially not for the Breakfast Club. They weren't exactly friends with him. Least of all Bender.

After that dreadful announcement (for the Breakfast Club, anyway), Brian noticed a boy who was being bullied.

It seemed the football team would always prey on nerds.

That boy happened to be Casey.

This time, he had been hit with a football, knocking him down.

"Are you alright?" asked Brian.

"I think so." nodded the bully magnet. He was used to this sort of thing by now.

He and Nurse Harper had gotten to know each other rather well.

However, he wasn't sure if he should visit her today. He heard that she was sick. Shouldn't she take the day off? The school faculty did have sick days.

Then again, he wasn't sure if they had a substitute for her.

"Can't they pick on someone their own size?" questioned the nerdy member of the Breakfast Club.

"I've asked that question myself more than once." noted Casey.

Brian remembered a time that he had been bullied.

"You're a loser!" exclaimed bully number one.

"You're such a nerd!" shouted bully number two.

"Why are you friends with the janitor?" asked a student who oddly enough wasn't a bully. It was a good question. He seemed like a bitter person to him.

"I tried asking a cheerleader once…she said the only person who would date me was someone who was from another planet." noted Brian.

"That's harsh." remarked Casey.

Addison decided to hang out with Stokeley.

"Hey. What do you want?" asked Stokeley.

"I just figured I would get to know people now that I transferred to another school." noted Addison.

She found that making friends were very helpful for dealing with her problems. Perhaps she should have tried it sooner.

"I see." answered Stokeley.

"I might as well make friends now that I'm here." spoke the basket case.

"I don't have friends." answered the redhead.

"Really? How sad." sympathized Addison. She must be lonely.

"Do you have friends?" asked Stokeley.

"I do. That detention was a life-changing experience for me." remarked the basket case. Who would have thought it would change them?

"Good for you." answered the redhead.

"Would you like to be friends?" questioned Addison. She already had four of them but there was room for one more as long as his name was not Richard Vernon.

"I guess now is as good of a time as any to start making friends." noted Stokeley.

Sure, she was a lone wolf. But Addison had asked nicely. Maybe she should give friendship a chance.

"Great!" exclaimed the basket case.

Meanwhile, Bender discovered a student was selling drugs.

It seemed like he wasn't a teacher's pet.

"Get your scat here!" exclaimed Zeke.

"You're selling drugs?" asked Bender.

"I am. Why do you ask?" questioned the salesman.

He could only hope that he didn't rat him out to one of the teachers. He was making a lot of money.

And the drugs he was giving them weren't actually dangerous. They were made of caffeine. So they wouldn't get people hooked. To be honest, he thought that they weren't any more dangerous than drinking soda.

"You do realize that if the vice principal catches you, he'll kick your ass, right?" warned John. He had given him detention for two months back at his old school.

He happened to know the vice principal. And he was not pleasant.

"Sounds like he's tyrannical." remarked Zeke.

"He sure is." nodded Bender. The sooner that he was fired, the better. But maybe that would only happen in their dreams.

He sure would be disappointed if he had a dream where Richard Vernon was fired…and it turned out not to have happened in reality.

"Do you still want some?" asked the drug dealer.

"I would buy some, but I don't have the money right now." answered John.

Perhaps he shouldn't be buying drugs anyway.

Sure, he was a delinquent, but he figured it would be a good idea to try not to make himself an outcast.

He wouldn't enjoy his new school if everyone hated him. And first impressions did matter.

"Would you be interested in working with me? It would be a lot easier if I had a business partner." noted Zeke. After all, he needed to get the supplies for his drugs somehow.

If they could cover each other, it would throw off people's suspicions.

"Sure." nodded Bender. He was still worried about being a pariah, but if they could cover for each other things would probably turn out OK.

He shook Zeke's hand.

Claire found herself becoming friends with Delilah. And yes, there was a pattern going on here.

"Weren't you taking pictures of us at the assembly?" asked Claire. She imagined that she had seen her before. Though she could be wrong.

"I'm the editor for the school newspaper." explained Delilah. She figured it would be a good idea to take pictures of the new students.

"I see." answered the redhead.

"Would you be interested in joining the cheerleading squad?" asked the head cheerleader.

"I could, but I don't have a lot to cheer about." noted Claire.

Sure, she had friends, but they all had parents that caused them grief. Why couldn't their parents be better?

"That's too bad." sympathized Delilah.

"I'm open for making new friends though." said Claire. She was going to need them seeing as she transferred from another school.

"Good for you." answered the editor-in-chief.

She shook her hand.

"I'm Delilah." said Delilah.

"I'm Claire." spoke Claire.

Andrew found himself with Stan.

"You think Coach Willis will let me join the football team? Then again, he doesn't seem inviting." noted Andrew. Chances are he wouldn't just invite anybody.

He knew that Stan was the team's star quarterback, so he figured that he should ask him.

"Well, there's about to be a seat open." said Stan.

"How do you know?" asked Andrew.

"I plan on quitting the team." explained the star quarterback.

"How come?" questioned the fellow jock. Perhaps it was because of how mean the coach was. Having a coach like that wouldn't bode well for the team's morale.

"I plan on focusing on my schoolwork." explained Stan.

"Then that works for both of us." noted Andrew.

"I'm pleased to meet you." said the jock.

"I'm Stan." greeted Stan.

"I'm Andrew." said Andrew.

Meanwhile, Brian met with Marybeth.

She was admiring the fish in the fish tank.

"You sure like that fish tank, don't you?" questioned Brian.

"I sure do." nodded Marybeth.

"Just don't tap on the glass." warned the geeky boy.

"Of course not." answered the new girl.

She didn't want to scare the fishes.

And so The Breakfast Club formed bonds of friendship.

It would certainly help them survive high school.

In ways they couldn't imagine.

You probably noticed that nothing really scary happened in this chapter. Unless you count Richard Vernon being vice principal.

But this is the calm before the storm. After all, is this not a Faculty fanfic?

It's a Breakfast Club fanfic too but I still figured I would go the horror route. I generally go the comedy route but I can try something different every once in a while.

Rest assured, I don't plan to keep you waiting for too long. Horror movies can have slow-paced beginnings (take Alien for example) but I'll try not to take things slow.

I figured that the cast of The Breakfast Club would get along with the cast of The Faculty.
